I am being so serious when I say: if you have the financial and time privilege to get a group of friends together and make an indie project, PLEASE do. Indie games, indie animations, indie comics etc etc

the art industries are kind of in the shitter. It’s not so much because of AI (though that doesn’t help) but because studios just aren’t hiring people and funding projects anymore. People who’ve been in the industry for decades are finding themselves struggling, and once you have a mortgage or kids it’s harder to do something as risky as making something on your own.

completing projects is hard. it takes a lot of time and effort, and most people can’t afford it. so if you CAN afford to make art, even at the risk of no financial gain, I strongly encourage you to be as resilient as you can. We’re at a point where these industries are not going to turn around by themselves, and waiting for jobs to open up again in order to get experience and portfolio work might not be realistic.

people have been making art and telling stories longgggg before we were getting paid for it, and people aren’t going to stop just because no one has hired them to do so.

for everyone else: support indie artists when you can!!!! That person who made that cool indie game or youtube animation or webcomic might be doing this full time! your support might be the only reason they’re able to keep doing it.

I really like the concept of starclans changing a leaders name if there's already been a leader with that name, what names would you give some of the leaders from the books if this were the case (just pretending there was another leader before them with the same name)

Well, a leader whose prefix was unused will probably get that, like Tigerheartstar is becoming Heartstar. Unless, of course, the prefix sounds awful like Footstar or Earstar. BUT! Let's make it interesting and just assume that they're all getting StarClan-given honor titles based on their greatest achievement up to that point.

Tigerheartstar came back from the dead. His name would have been Risingstar.

Blackstar would have become Bloodstar, for his prowess in the BloodClan battle

Bluestar broke the thread of destiny itself, destroying prophecy in a way that StarClan didn't think was possible. She could have become Shatterstar.

Harestar defied the Dark Forest and fought for the Clans, becoming deputy and defying Onestar's orders to help the others when they needed herbs. For righting so many wrongs, he would have become Rightstar.

Tallstar halted his revenge the moment he realized he was mistaken, and returned to WindClan out of love and loyalty. He may have become Homestar or Mercystar.

Tigerstar actually got his lives from the Dark Forest. If there was a Tigerstar before him, the demon cats might have picked out a name to not raise suspicion and they would be VERY haughty about it. Highstar, Mightstar, Crushstar, Thousandstar... y'know, very subtle names.

As a side note, I imagine if there ever WAS a cat with Star as their suffix and they became leader, they wouldn't get called Starstar. They'd get called Truestar or Doublestar.

Today's #BookHaul from @halfpricebooks in #SanAntonio #Texas (from the top down) picked up the seventh book #WheelOfTime series titled #ACrownOfSwords by #RobertJordan from #TorFantasy Next down is #ForgottenRealms #TheTwilightGiants #book 1 titled #TheOgresPact by #TroyDenning this was actually #published by #TSR the original company behind the #DungeonsAndDragons #Tabletop #RolePlayingGame on occasion I pick up random #books while out. This next one is one of those times. We have #ThousandStar #written by #PiersAnthony published by a company actually called #AVON and no not the makeup one this one apparently was a parent company of Bard, Camelot and Discus Books, weird. Next up is a cool book by a very cool #author @pvbrett #writes #TheDemonCycle and part of that series are a collection of side #stories some of those are contained in this book #MessengersLegacy which also contains a small #Grimoire of #Wards yes I kind of love this series... Sepertinya setiap hari ibu saya sudah selalu mengunggah foto saya dengan mama. Hanya beberapa foto saja yg saya punya. Koleksi foto kami sudah habis. Tentunya, saya tidak bisa lagi membuat koleksi foto yang baru antara saya dan mama. Foto bintang ini cukup mewakili foto kami. Karena setiap kali saya menengadah kepada langit, bintang, rembulan, saya percaya mama juga sedang menatapku, dan tidak membiarkan sedetikpun pandanganmu luput dari padaku. Sudah banyak puisi dan rangkaian kata yg melukiskan rinduku padamu. Saya tahu, betapa mama juga ingin terus bersama saya, membesarkan saya, datang di ceremonial wisuda, mendengar cerita-cerita saya.
