At my core I’m a hopeless romantic, a gentle soul, and overall kind human. I feel like I haven’t had many opportunities throughout my life to truly embrace all that I am. Instead I’ve created a version of myself that got me through each day. I lived that version so long I convinced myself that some of the things that mean the most to me aren’t important. Been on a journey reconnecting with myself because that version of me I grew very tired of. At times the easiest thing to do is revert back to that but then I remind myself that I wasn’t put on this earth to be that version.

So this is my workout plan for the rest of the year 2023.

I tried to implement cycle syncing variation between the weeks and kept a little bit of structure in the beginning and end of every week (yoga / lower body).

There are still 57 days to go and so if you want to join me here is a challenge to end the year strong.

DQI Journey Introduction

The first Dragon Quest was initially released to the Famicom in 1986. This Japanese RPG was originally localized in America as Dragon Warrior when it was finally officially translated in 1989 has NES game.

Has I have said before this is one of the few Dragon Quest Game that I have completed. I am going to be playing the Dragon Warrior I & II version, released to the Game Boy Color in 2000.

So now a little about what I remember of this game before I replay. I remember it being simultaneously a very simple and confusing game. Most of the time I had no idea where I had to go and had to look up maps of the world and dungeons so that I could advance without getting bored. The story was pretty simple, but there were some sprinkles of world building sprinkled around. I remember the part that brought me the most joy for some reason was carrying the princess bridal style once I find her.

And now is time to replay it!
