on the subject of "the fandom being weirdly obsessed with interpreting everything about Shuro in the worst way possible" i have to bring up the "what if we all got our genders changed" comic because today i learned that there's a significant amount of people who saw this panel

while that same guy (not making a creepy face) watches the scene and observes "yikes, that looks bad"

the nice thing about ao3 is that you never have to wonder whether the problem is you or the website. you just have to wait two minutes and if its the website a resounding wail of agony will have begun to echo over every social media platform in existence.

  In a world where every human starts with blood that’s a very bright red, only darkening by one taking another’s life, Tim is very careful. Apparently even using explosions in warehouses and wherever else the league of assassins had set up counted as killing, to his slight horror. He couldn’t let his team know of course, even if they joked about joining him if he turned villain. 

  It was one thing to joke, but if they saw his blood, pitch black and dark enough to nearly swallow the light around it? He really doesn’t want to see the horror or disgust. He isn’t going to let anyone know if he can help it. 

  So it’s a really shitty situation when one of the henchmen of one of the rogues decides to break his nose and about fifty-something people are suddenly very aware of his very high kill count. He has a choice here. And he isn’t entirely sure if he wants to deal with the consequences of either of them.

Okay so what if this, but also he actually has had the very occasional crush throughout his thousands of years of being a god, but he has equally no idea what to do and is an awkward mess about it. Like Mr God of Death had one to many private partys with his disciples to boost moral and all the sudden he's feeling really odd about Dave from accounting. But instead of focusing on what those feelings might be he sends them away as far as possible so he never has to see or think about them again, and everyone thinks Dave must have done something terrible but it was actually just their cat god experiencing gay panic

anyone else find it a little fucked up that gifsets/edits only get more than 1k notes if they’re concerning a brand new piece of media (film/tv episode/trailer) and if the edit is posted within like 10 minutes of said media releasing to the public??? and if it’s not, it’s basically ignored and dies or takes days/weeks to amass notes??? so most people will only deem creators “worthy” of a like/reblog to spread an edit around if it’s only relevant to whatever brand new thing has released, and if you’re even like a week late that’s not good enough and fuck you <3

I’m genuinely fascinated to see what my top ten posts are gonna be at the end of the year.

Last year my top results were all comics around 20-40K and my lower slots were like my unhinged pickle post at 4K. This year I doubt I’ll even have a comic break the top ten cause my anecdotes have popped off so hard.
