I wasn't tagged in this but @grell-writes-stuff did it and I need to get back into writing so this made me review some pieces and oh boy do I need to edit some [all] of these.

Red

The lake’s shore was equal parts bodies and rocks. Shallow water turning red as blood seeped into its depths. 

Orange

“Of course,” Brandon promised. 

Alex wasn’t sure if Brandon knew what promise he was claiming, if he was too preoccupied watching Alex’s fingers to care about what was being said. His mind was elsewhere, much like his own, fixated on Brandon’s singular earring that had a hard time keeping a consistent colour in the sun.

The simple stud first appeared to be blue, but Alex was sure that it had originally been orange that morning. “The same one as usual.” Alex took off his glasses to clean the lenses on his shirt.

Yellow

He didn’t know how he ended up curled in his bed, on top of his duvet, with a soft yellow blanket that he picked up his first year of University, wrapped around his shoulders, nor did he know how long it had been since the phone call with his sister.

Green

Isaac reemerged with a simple silver bracelet with various sizes of green gems engraved in its side.

Blue

“My men are my responsibility. Their lives are mine to share on the battle field.”

The fire between them burned blue.

Indigo

Purple

His jacket was opened, revealing a purple t-shirt underneath that she had gotten him for his birthday two years ago, tucked into the belt of his trousers. The purple colour was fading, it was now a soft lilac that reminded Clara of the garden back home

White

Walking into the apartment, Amelia stood next to a wooden island that was splintering at the legs, and looked around in surprise. The apartment was not at all what she was expecting. It was white. Almost too white for the crumbling building exterior that it resided in.

Black

Wayne’s wooden desk, littered with pencils and books she never saw him read, shone black under the window

Grey

 Long thick strands of grey, greased hair hung limply behind her thighs. The entrails were knotted and oiled, as if she never had enough strength to fully complete her daily grooming. 

Brown

Alex paused. Marc watched a small brown spider climb down from a crack in the wall above Alex’s head.

i just feel like someone should take one for the team and write the fanfic where miss homotron goes to dragonstone on foot, meets her situationship’s new lover, and immediately goes like blind with jealousy and fury (rhaenyra, as always when alicent’s near, looks and behaves like a very confused kicked puppy)

seriously though nothing can stop me from interpreting Real Life as canon just for how it progresses the canary curse situation. i'm obsessed with it. the curse gets broken in secret life and then in the very next "series", as much of a joke as it is, you get a situation like THAT. jimmy enters a mineshaft and everyone but him dies. not just his team, though obviously it's more significant because they were all red, but ren/martyn/skizz all get a mineshaft-death apiece. that canary's not doing his job anymore. he escaped his cage and made a break for the surface and everyone else is paying the price for it, and i for one could not be more proud of that little bird.

the most difficult thing about growing as a person socially, as in getting out of your shell and noticing that you are, is that there will still be times when it doesn’t feel like you’ve grown at all! times when you can’t really connect with anyone around you, times when you fail to enter into an existing conversation, times when you say the wrong thing (or nothing at all when in hindsight you probably should’ve). but that’s also kind of the best thing, because that’s the thing that helps you realize that sometimes, it’s not you or your lack of skills or any shortcoming. sometimes certain environments just aren’t for you and certain people aren’t your people, and that’s okay. that’s human. it’s okay to not feel the progress you have made all the time.

Sorry, but Sirius would not be the rebel you think he is. Like sure he doesn't feed into all that blood purity shit but that boy was spoiled rotten. He grew up eating with silver enchanted utensils, wearing the finest clothing, eating the most precious foods and learning the most pretentious habits from the most pretentious people...he was posh, and so was James and so was Peter. It takes years to unlearn all that, to recognize not everyone had it as good as him (disregarding the neglectful treatment from his parents).

However, I will agree, his character development after meeting Remus is substantially impacted. Since a boy with absolutely nothing becomes Sirius' everything.

I got a little confused by the 4 day, may maybe you help me please? who is it? why we got the bad end staying the night in Ren’s apartment and he disappear of the home screen? I can’t understand “unset memory” game, sorry if I wrote smth wrong or smth sounds rude, I swear that I didn’t mean it if happened, I’m really a fan of the novel, I’ve been playing the game since day 1 or 2 I guess, probably day 1, english isn’t my first language, but I tried lol

You can only get the Dead End in Day 4 by staying at Ren's apartment — the rest of your choices before that don't matter. I'd also pay closer attention to the black smoke and Ren's reaction towards it!

Ren disappears from the home screen because he promised to help the player out (and stop them from getting the Dead End again). Try replaying the game again from the beginning for a surprise!

"Unsent Memories" was another visual novel (initially being written by @10chimes / @unsentmemory, though the project has since been dropped and handed back to me /pos) and is set in the same universe as 14 Days With You. Its storyline and characters are completely separate from 14DWY, so you don't have to worry about them while playing 14DWY.

This week we got to continue our rainbow trout experiments. See anything different here?

That’s right, the water is a bit darker! This is because this girl was raised in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) that mechanically and biologically filters wastewater and recycles it back to the fish. Most of the gunk gets cleaned out and harmful nitrogen substances get turned into harmless ones, but some compounds remain dissolved in the water!

I filmed this girl because she had a most peculiar way of swimming. She seems to use her pectoral fins an abnormal amount and lays on the bottom in an upturned pose! And seemingly only during the lowest speeds, too. She appeared quite healthy otherwise, I’m not too certain what caused this behaviour.

So i remember an ask mentioning your mortal enemy, Felis Atra and their cats, and i thought it'd be fun to draw what Felis Atra's version of your italian dogs would be.

I think they would be called Butter Knife and Flamengo! Butter Knife is not his real name, it's an nickname given by his peers because of how harmless he is. I choose Flamengo because that's the name of Vasco's rival football team here in Brazil, so i thought that was the perfect name :)

Cat Machete was slightly inspired by the Oriental Shorthair cat because of their long noses and thin head shape.

Cat Vasco was inspired by the Scottish Fold cat, because FLOPPY EARS. I gave Flamengo longer ears and orange fur to make him more like his look-alike.

The last doodle is a reference to this ask (https://canisalbus.tumblr.com/post/728923918314946560/me-i-am-machete-ear-fan-number-1-those-ears) and contains the tumblr ask stand-in dog, whose cat version was inspired by the American Curl cat! They have round ears that are slightly floppy outwards.

Final notes: I know cardinal clothes don't come in vibrant blue, but i was ADAMANT on switching Machete's and Vasco's clothing color patterns. I would draw the rest of Butter Knife's and Flamengo's clothes, but i suck at designing cool outfits.

Speaking of outfits, for Machete's iconic void outfit, i figured it would be fun to make it more baggy for Butter Knife, in contrast to Machete's, that looks very tight-fitted. I think it's cute, it kinda looks like a sweater. Also i can't imagine a Machete doppelganger without high heels boots, so those HAD to stay.

Oh, and just to be clear, i'm not like, claiming ownership of these guys or anything. I just thought it would be a fun exercise. Hope you like them!! I love your art and your characters.
