Elementary, dear Data

After about 7 years the Star Trek TNG hyperfixation is back full force. It's so strong that I am feeling Distressed and the only way to quiet the bees in my brain is to draw Data constantly. So here's something I drew from a behind the scenes photo (I excluded Picard because this is Sherlock Holmes, not Dixon Hill </3)

Hey pookies! Just wanted to say I really appreciate all the love and support I've been receiving lately for Decoded! I always love your comments/asks/fanart/memes, it genuinely has been bringing me so much joy and I'm so grateful for it <3

I know I said I had a lot of art to post (and then proceeded to post none of it LOL) I'm just a little overwhelmed rn with some life stuff so sorry for the wait! I also have a lot asks that I haven't gotten to and I apologize for that as well!

Trying my best to keep up, but I haven't had a lot of time recently. Art's gonna be a little delayed, but don't worry Chapter 8 is still gonna come out this Saturday as scheduled!

Tim’s thing about pineapple on pizza…

Now, I do think Dick’s love of weird pizza combos, plus the huge amount of times we see him eating pizza with Tim, are both pretty good evidence that Dick was the one who introduced Tim to Tim’s favorite pizza (Canadian bacon and artichoke hearts).

However…here in 1996, we see Dick orders pineapple and andouille pizza for him and Tim. Perhaps notably, we never actually see a panel of Tim eating the pizza (Bruce interrupts them).

Then in 1999, Tim makes it very clear to his parents and Wally that he hates pineapple on pizza (and ham).

These comics are even written by the same writer, Chuck Dixon. Granted, Dixon once forgot his own character’s name and made up a new one. He also made Tim learn how to skateboard twice, a decade apart. But I can propose in-universe reasons for this, unexplained by writers forgetting!

Theory 1: Tim didn’t know he hated pineapple on pizza until Dick gave him pineapple and andouille pizza. This means Dick introduced him to his favorite AND least favorite pizzas, in true older brother fashion.

Theory 2: Tim already knew he hated pineapple on pizza but wanted to spare Dick’s feelings so he pretended to get too distracted to eat any.
