Listen anon, Khaotung tattoos deserve an award on its own 😂. He knows exactly what he was doing when he chose to put the tattoos in those exact locations. As far as I’m aware, he has TWO tattoos (and that’s enough. Otherwise, SomSoms will all go into further meltdown hehe)

The left hip tattoo says “beautiful” in cursive script, and I can tell you that particular tattoo haunted the whole of FK fandom throughout the damn entire time when TE was airing! How dare he teased us (and Akk!!) by showing us a glimpse of it and none after that (🥵🥵🥵!). Twitter was abuzz with fans speculating what it said (and of course FK just being silent about it, those cheeky boys!)

Plus a fun fact: the director(s) for TE asked Khaotung whether he has tattoos pre-TE filming. He said yes, and when the directors asked where it’s located, he pointed to his left hip - which I can tell you is like a jackpot for the director(s) cause if you have read TE original novel, Aye in the novel also has a tattoo in a very suggestive place 🫣

Anyway, I’m digressing. It’s only during Only Friends we got confirmation of what it actually said when SandRay ascend to nirvana in what was arguably the hottest scene the boys ever filmed (so far) - I have high hopes for THK to overtake this!

As for the second tattoo, it’s located in the middle of his right thigh 👇🏽

The tattoo says '엄마 아무 걱정하지 말아요' - it’s lyrics from G-Dragon (of BigBang fame, a K-pop band) song (Outro - Divina Commedia) - literal translation means “Mom, don’t worry about a thing.”

I’m going to assume it’s a tribute of sort to his supportive mom (but for this, I am just being speculative 🤣)

🌲 - What is their greatest strength, and their greatest weakness?

OOOGh.

Holly’s greatest strength……. Probably their smarts. She’s pretty goddamn intelligent. They learned a LOT of stuff from the Radiance when they were sealed together, and Radi’s a 500 billion year old Goddess. That woman knows her stuff. She taught all she knew to Holly, so she also knows her stuff.

Their greatest weakness has gotta be how unreasonably trusting they are right out the gate. Both Hornet and Ghost have said on multiple occasions that her blind trust in everyone around her is gonna get her killed eventually. Happened with PK, it’ll happen again.

They always counter this by saying that they can directly sense ill intent, and negative emotions as a whole, thanks to their direct connection to Void, but that doesn’t necessarily keep them safe forever. People change, and sometimes, it’s really hard to get out of a situation that went from healthy to unhealthy.

🌾 - How do they get along with people they just met?

Usually pretty well! As I said before, she’s a very trusting person, and with her ability to sense ill intent/negativity, she can make close friends pretty quickly. That combined with their personality and status as a benevolent monarch generally makes them easy to befriend.

💧 - What are they most passionate about?

HISTORY. HOLLY LOVES HISTORY. History of Hallownest, history of other kingdoms, history of shit before bugs became sentient, history more ancient than the goddamn planet itself — she loves history with all her heart. They will jump at ANY chance they get to ramble.

The headcanon that the dreamers clothes are more like burial clothes is so good!! Reminds me of historical human-sacrifice in funerary practices of ancient royalty, with how the dreamers are important members of Hallownest society and are seen in the game sleeping in locations where they would’ve been doing stuff when they were not dreaming (similarly to retainer burials of First Dynasty Egypt). To be honest I think the pure vessel could also be seen as a form of sacrifice too?

It's interesting how it's specifically mentioned that "through their (Dreamers') sacrifice the Hallownest will last eternal" or something along those lines (I can't look up wiki atm lol) BUT the vessel was not included. It's because they especially needed to NOT die to keep Radiance locked up (and ended up with them slowly... and painfully... dying....)

I've been scrambling to find THIS SPECIFIC POST about PV and their pauldrons because they were not treated the same way Dreamers were. THK was obviously honored but it's the Dreamers who were given the most respect as they gave their lives to "stop" the infection, thus given the proper burial clothes and each a place of rest.

THK is honored for ongoing duty with hopes that they will not have that eternal rest.

Oh they did do that! Back in December. Only for December. Each time I asked for an update since then it's been

"I've had this going on so I'm behind on paying you" "Okay sorry to hear you've been going through it, I hope things get better and please let me know when you'll be able to get back to me"

"Hey, how about now? It's a growing amount and I should probably know what's happening." "Sorry I don't mean to keep doing this but I have this other thing happening and it's been busy. But you're doing really great work don't worry about that, appreciate your work."

and it's been like that on repeat. I learned it wasn't just me, others have been stiffed too and getting no responses either. It's shitty and I'm still looking for other opportunities because I've had enough. As soon as I get everything owed. "Oh, but this has never happened to me before" Sure, it hasn't, but it's been going on for about a year now because the last payment I got was for work I did over a year ago now and I've had enough.

To tell the truth, I hadn't really considered it when I started TMS. As I write the script, all the characters just kinda sound like me and it's not even in English, haha

But my references are still pretty much the same as in 2015 (golden age of UT dubs and songs right?) for some characters. Typically, UT Sans and Papyrus sound like this to me.

Mel's pretty up to interpretation since she's an OC and I've never given you any indications on what she sounds like or her theme song, etc. It just needs to match the character as you imagine her ;) An example of dubbing she got!

As for the others, I have a few pointers but nothing very concrete. So if you know of any VAs, actors or dubs that tick the boxes, be my guest.

.Apart from the US and UT brothers, they all have fairly deep voices. The UFs are a bit husky, the SFs more nasal and the HTs… gruff?

.Black is haughty. In his voice, his intonation, all of it. He radiates confidence (bonus point if he has a bit of an accent).

.Rus drags his words out, his voice is a bit higher than the others (+nasal) since he's a Papyrus but he plays with it a lot. Uses a playful tone when he's not busy making threats.

.I tend to read UF Sans and Papyrus with a very deep, smooth voice, but in reality they'd probably sound more like that, haha.

.Blue and his brother are rarely dubbed, so I'm neutral as long as they're not too cartoonish (*￣▽￣)b (Darren Criss works I guess, haven't heard much of him but that's not too high pitch or childish)

.HT bros... Improvidence dubbed him once and I've yet to recover from the experience (// ´ ▿ `// ) That was a few years back, the character has evolved since, so he'll be a bit more tamed. He still does a lot of breathing/pausing and mumbling though, hm, yeah.

And, hm, well that's it.
