Nearing the end of Mettamay! Recap and thoughts :D (This is just for fun lol)

I think this is the part where I drop off of drawing for Mettamay AAAA But hey, I did really good though! (imo ofc!) The number of days I did and how much I drew MTT himself was insane 👀👀👀

In total I accomplished days: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27! So in total, 21 days! Holy shit LMFAO VERY proud at my commitment yo, I kinda wanna do this again next year if it's on! >:D (just remind me bc I WILL forget probably)

I've mostly dropped off by now, just bc I can't think of what to draw, and my motivation has moved to updating oc's for Art Fight BAHA But the fact I made it so far--- bonkers, bro, absolutely bonkers. This was INCREDIBLY fun and got me through pretty bad burnout, so yah! It was honestly very relaxing to just draw Mettaton for 21 days JHSDGHSD

Also, shout out to Mettamay for getting me to experiment with art aswell! Notably, I've become more comfortable not fully rendering with a painterly style, rather, just using a single pen brush in my software and doing pretty decent cell shading(?), which is epic as bc painting takes... SOOOO long JHDF

And honestly, imo to end off Mettamay for MYSELF Imma rank my favourite pieces I've done for this month, just to look back on and just for funsies KEKEKE

i'm kinda insane about my AU MTT. Salty I forgot the weird cape banner wing things but I love this piece nonetheless ;;w;;! I'm so happy with the design, and getting the chance to draw it for Mettamay was a blast.

LASTLY/SPECIAL MENTION The amount of ghost MTT's I drew have to get their own spotlight. I had so so much fun drawing his ghost form, and honestly? NEW COMFORT CHARACTER UNLOCKED KJSHJHFDG

Who knew a hot pink ghost of my design would become a comfort PFFT Very happy at his design development since the first one LMAO Bro got edgier hair JHGGFJS thanks to my AU ghost MTT also having edgy af hair KJHJHSDJKDDHSDSJ

Frankly I think Alistair being mildly shitty to that mage in Ostagar seems pretty in-character for the guy he is before the massive, life-altering trauma that is the Ostagar massacre wherein he sees all of his Grey Warden comrades, his beloved mentor/father figure, and his beloathed half-brother/convenient-target-of-projection absolutely torn to shreds by literal Thedas boogeymen. IIRC Morrigan and Flemeth both comment on his wack behavior after Ostagar and then by the time we get to Lothering Alistair just fully surrenders any and all responsibility (and, frankly, agency) to the player's Warden for the foreseeable future. It can then take anywhere from a couple IRL hours to the entire second act of the game for him to retake almost any amount of it back. And depending on the player's choices in dialogue, and especially whether or not they choose to romance him, we may only see flashes of that guy we met at Ostagar before he potentially morphs into almost someone else entirely (hardened!King!Alistair). All that to say, I don't actually think it's a useful criticism of "characterization" to bring up Alistair's glibness as compared to his behavior in the majority of the game because from where I'm standing (looking directly at his snottiness about Cailan, his complaints about being assigned to the Tower of Ishal, his Templar-esque focusing on Morrigan and Flemeth being apostates, his generally pretty brusque manner with the Warden recruits) it seems fairly in-line with the rest of his behavior at Ostagar.

I got tired of circling back to frustration over my nitpicks on the f&c series so I OC’d my boy. Whoops. 😅💦. I realized recently the reason I can never decide a good Pokemon team for Koro-Sensei, despite having one for most every other F/O, is because he wouldn't HAVE Pokemon, he'd BE one.

So now I'm trying to decide what Pokemon he'd be and I'm caught between two so

Zygarde

Canonically Squishy

Can change color + Closer in color-scheme

Cell motif (Koro-Sensei is like that due to his Anti-Matter cells, and can work at the Cellular level with his bare hands)

100% form would look bad ass in the final battle against 2.0

There's a lot of hilarity in 10% Zygarde. Season 1 shenanigans.

I like the idea of instead of having a ultimate defense form all his cells split when in critical danger; Causing the final episodes of Season 1 to have Core only Koro-Sensei (who is helpless) instead of a Koro-orb (a korb if you will)

Has a 4x weakness which just adds to the kinda wimpy for a legendary level. Comedic value in being scared of Ice Types

Deoxys

Speed Form just in general

Has weird tentacle arms

Is a space virus and thus could be injected into a person like the tentacle seed (makes more sense for Itona, Kayano, and 2.0)

Defense form for ultimate defense form (though it missed out on the being small and helpless part of Ultimate Defense Form)

The core in the center of Deoxys looks like Koro-Sensei's ultimate defense form so that could ALSO be it

Koro-Sensei's not FROM space but he is full of space themeing, though he's the moon and Deoxys is an Asteroid it still fits

I can see him getting pissed off reading headlines about Mewtwo. Unfair to be the SECOND man made pure Psychic type Pokemon
