If I was, per say, writing a presentation on time shenanigans (travel, loops, etc) for class rn, what games/shows/movies/books/etc. Would you per chance recommend for. That. Looking for examples of it done really well and ones that are done poorly, this is kind of a dos and donts.

College is crazy because you switch the mindset of "I need to do the best on everything ever" to "a pass is a pass!" Soooo fast. The main focus of this assignment is the writing portion, I'll use silly picrews and shitty ms paint drawings for the design portion as it is allowed and I need to get to other stuff.

My journey to learn new things by going to college and forcing myself to learn is going great except for the fact I'm only enjoying the things I already knew and learning more and more that learning 3D is awful and does not spark even a single little tiny spark of joy within me, and the only thing driving me to do it is that my instructor is nice and cool.

You're supposed to enjoy the process or at least be proud of the final product but I am finding neither. I wish we had an animation course here. Or like... anything 2D. I love doing sprites and 2D. I think I should be allowed to do sprites and 2D.

Putting together editing applications for the 50th time knowing full well they'll be rejected because unfortunately only one person has an application process that understands you may not have a great portfolio and that was TOMMYINNIT who STOPPED MAKING VIDEOS.

Vague talking about timeloops. This is mostly for my oc but hey it can apply to other time damned characters too I feel. Depending on their realm of time damned.

Hardest part abt writing a time loop, in my opinion, is like- figuring out a normal stage of progression for the person in it. Like naturally they keep learning, they keep getting stronger. And with a smaller number it's easy, but like, if narratively they're at over 1000, then that has to show right? So cool, you make your Uber powered loop 1000 guy. Then you gotta think well shit they must've started smaller right? So there you go, making ur loop 0 guy.

Suddenly someone goes "Oh but what would they be like at loop 200?" And you realize you gotta figure out some sort of general vibe of where they were at. So now at loop 200 your guy is definitely stronger than loop 0, but nowhere near loop 1000. Maybe they've nailed the beginning by now, but are still figuring out after that.

Loop 500? Have a handle on things, maybe just going to solely go for learning new things. What if they tried medicine? What if they gave engineering a try? They've focused on just fighting, but what if other skills came into play too?

Loop 800 they know like everything now yknow. They've learned all the skills, might as well master them through the loops.

Then ur Uber powered loop 1000 guy, just focused on their loops. Whatever their goal is, whatever is driving them this far. Maybe they are taking every option they can. They can do anything now. They've basically become a God at this point, right? They're more powerful than anyone else, they can do everything, so why not take that chance?

And when something is different? They're ecstatic. Something they did changed something. That person never existed in the past, yet here they are. Because you micro managed. Because you changed things.

Oh god no I made a superhero character for a one shot that has not only made it into the superhero universe I'm writing, but become the essentially Superman but more fucked up (in a positive way) of it.

Alien with godlike powers drops on Earth and swears to protect it. After the planet is destroyed, they use those powers to create a new version and try again, taking notes of what went wrong last time. By the current point in the story, they know every single human being who will live and die from the point she drops on the planet to its death, and what purpose they need to serve to keep Earth going.

Stardust my beloved you play the game repeatedly to try and find an ending that doesn't exist. You laugh, you love, you try to fix what is far beyond you repeatedly to no avail and yet you still won't give up. Cursed to live forever, this world begins and ends with stardust.

I think I just make girls with a lil heart hair strand and decide they need the weight of the world and godlike powers. The lil heart signifies you will be living a horrible tragedy the rest of ur life, sorry I don't make the rules ❤️

Wrote a one shot superhero campaign in 15 minutes yesterday and adjusted things at like 11pm. Did it today, took 8 hours and the players enjoyed it lets goooo.

We scheduled smth and a guy informed me like halfway through yesterday he wasn't available so. Came up with another plan. I'll be posting it when I cut a bunch of the quiet spots/talking abt life, add music, add the intro bit to the recording. Death of a God coming soon yahoo!! There might be doodles posted in the future 🤔 I rlly like some of the characters

What is with this new Batman run and finding writers that fucking hate Batman. I mean the rebirth current run btw. Cuz currently I'm catching up and since like issue 50 it feels like they handed the writing reigns over to a guy who has an intense hatred of Batman and Bruce Wayne. And from what I've heard we switch to a new writer that hates Batman even worse.

DC should have like, a quiz before you get to write the character. Wonder Woman needs this too I'm just actively reading Batman rn. But like, they need a character fundamentals quiz. First question: do you even like this character be honest. Second question: would this character hit kids. If your answer is yes you don't get to write the superhero sorry not my rules.

I did not like the Thomas Wayne coming back to life plot line I thought it was stupid and way too drawn out and did not make sense. Like personally I don't think either Thomas or Martha would become a vigilante but like if one of them would it'd be Martha??? Court of Owls plot established that Martha got shit done and Thomas Wayne was less cool. The reason the Kanes don't like the Waynes is because Martha was cool and awesome. I also think that one of them becoming the Joker is LAZYYYYY. Oh they just kinda became like that. Like naturally. Just watched their kid die but on clown make up and became a mass murderer. Ugh. UGH. WHY WOULD THOMAS WAYNE HIT HIS SON. LIKE REALISTICALLY. "I'm against anything that will harm my son" dude I have crazy news about every action you took.

Sidelining Bane in a Bane centric arc is crazy. For 35 issues they had me change my pov from "Oh wow a flashback!" To "Why are we bringing this up again I KNOW". That arc coulda been like, 10 issues if you cut the bullshit. Then it went straight into a Joker arc which is insane. Shoutout to Harley Quinn for making Joker War decent ❤️.

Ghostmaker feels like a step in the right direction because wow look we remembered Bruce Wayne is a person. But also I unfortunately have already read Gotham War and know I'm in for a world of disappointment soon 😔
