ougghhh i so totally still am. i'm mainly fixated on my stupid ass video game idea (working title is gods don't bleed but i want to change it bc it doesn't fit as well anymore)

forgive me if this is incoherent, my boyfriend dislocated his knee so i have to care for him, and work has been terrible and burned me out, so i'm definitely leaving some stuff out of my answers :(, but whatever!!

3.) any recurring images/elements?

absolutely yes. lots of imagery of plants and animals, for one. fire vs. ice too, yes i know it's a very commonly used trope but i like playing around with those two things, especially when i get to kinda subvert expectations with them. similarly with light vs. dark. and also colors vs black and white, both in terms of morality and in terms of actual visuals

19.) describe the sillies you think about but that dont go in the story.

in my mind, charity and fabian (the first two playable characters, and close friends) are exes. it's probably not going to be canonized, but it's also not going to be explicitly denied, so...

their first date was incredibly awkward, by the way. fabian was an ignorant rich kid who loved to pry and stick his nose in others' business and not let up until he knew everything about a situation, while charity was freshly in the "my mom and i were homeless, got taken in by a man, and then that man turned out to be very very bad so we had to flee the state and come to this small piece of shit town where no one realizes how privileged they are, and this all sucks, and i don't want to talk about it" mindset. they were also both 14-15 which is the worst age to be. they broke up so fast after this but now they've got a really solid friendship going a few years later, and charity has a different (cooler) partner

also, so many silly bits of dialogue that... i'm not sure they'll go into the game at all, or if they do, whether they'll just be optional bits. but some favorites include (formatted sorta like they would be in my script document):

KIMBERLY: Oh, hey, Fabián, you're in French 2 with me next semester. JAMAL: Wh... what? People actually take French? I thought that was a myth. FABIÁN: Well, I already know Spanish since everyone on my mom's side and, like, half of my dad's side speaks it. So I thought taking Spanish would be way too easy. CHARITY: You stupid son of a bitch. That's exactly why you should take Spanish.

ACE: Holy shit, I just got stung by a bee! FABIÁN: Are you ok??? Ace pulls the stinger out of their face ACE: LOOK! It's still pumping venom! That's so cool! CHARITY: What the fuck is wrong with you? ACE: What's wrong with you? Lookit!

JAMAL: Hey. Kimbie. KIMBERLY: Don't call me that, please. What is it? JAMAL: Spell ICUP. KIMBERLY: "ICUP?" JAMAL: Spell it. KIMBERLY: That's not a real word. Fake words don't have spellings. JAMAL: Can you at least try? KIMBERLY: Oh. Wait. I see. I-K-U-P. JAMAL: ... KIMBERLY: Does that suffice? Jamal looks as though he's about to cry. [Later that same day] JAMAL: Hey, uh, hey Kimbi-- Kimberly. Is it just me, or is your outfit kind of, uh, "updog?" KIMBERLY: What? JAMAL: Your outfit's kind of "updog." KIMBERLY: What does "updog" mean? JAMAL: ........Can you........... rephrase that, please? KIMBERLY: ? No. JAMAL: :/

also, there's a period of time when kimberly is in 9th grade where she gets really intensely into astrology. specifically so that she can Know A Lot About A Thing that other people don't know as much about. she'll see someone doing something, walk up to them and be like "what are you, an aries venus?" and when they don't understand the reference she'll be like "never mind :)" and feel smart. she no longer does this in the game because she realizes that's so cringe. and she has OTHER science to do, dammit!! (like proving the Weird Kid at school is a literal alien)

another fun fact: kimberly (resident genius) and jamal (who does not give a shit about academics) play chess together one time and jamal wins because kimberly is so perplexed by his newbie moves that she doesn't know how to respond to them.

oh... i didnt realize i had this many sillies... cool :)

🍬What's a genre/trope you've never written, but might in future? ooh.... i dont know! i really want to write a royalty au one day (i have like. popular kids polycule royalty au idea floating around) also if i could return to my fae au. i dont know if i will

🍩What advice would you give to aspiring fic writers? Spend some time daydreaming to know your plot. If you live it then you know how your story is gonna layout/know major plot points you need to connect jot down any notes or ideas you have, you can always come back to them. if you're editing something and decide to delete a line or paragraph or something, put it in a separate document, don't delete them completely. you can always reuse those snippets for other stories

🥠What's your approach to world-building? bear with me this is going to be very jumbled

tldr: i dont have a great approach, the world creates itself most of the time, looking up resources is a great help, trying to write a story with a co-writer who a. doesn't write and b. doesn't look at any of the notes or snippets you have written just makes co-writing much more difficult

If I look at my graphic novel series.... not well. I like to think i have a pretty good grasp on the world-building for that but my co-creator keeps changing things up on me. it's not really a discussion, he just makes the executive decision that this is how things are going to work and does not listen when i try to bring up my concerns

anyway!

most of the time, the worldbuilding just happens as i write. i have a basic concept (reincarnated greek heroes, what if the bmc kids were deities of some sort, jake brooke michael and rich write poetry together, four childhood friends with connections to the mafia) and then everything else about the world just comes up as i write (flashbacks to past lives, creation stories mirroring already existing mythologies, how did they come to make this poet quartet and how do they work together, jason's girlfriend is a member of a rival mafia family)

(most of my other fics are grounded in the bmc canon somehow, so its just building on already established worldbuilding)

like most stories, it starts with a concept.

recollections started as a final fantasy self insert story. it has grown a lot since then. my co creator already had a basic plot and characters and abilities and such when he told me about it. i started thinking about where magic came from (taking a similar approach to how energy can not be created nor destroyed, just changed).

if im actually taking the time to plan it all out, like recollections, i look up worldbuilding tips and resources, taking the ones that will fit my purposes better. fantasy worlds would take a lot more worldbuilding than ones based in some sort of reality. recollections is taking a lot of planning to figure out how magic works and where it comes from, and magic is different for each person but it also can be a choice to decide whether or not you want to harness magic. the magic system and the world itself needs a lot more work because i think some of the elements that my co-creator wants to impliment (using astrology to categorise magic, treating magic as xp in a video game and everything is held within birthstones) just dont quite fit the world we already created

i love studying astrology, but you have to admit how exhausting it is sometimes. ignorance is bliss, but i am addicted to the pursuit of knowledge. i've slowly been inching through the chapter of synastry on my study journey, and it's really interesting, but i also have such a headache. my preferred method of studying is using my own chart and the charts of those in my life. having close and personal examples allows me to make connections easier and understand things better all on my own without having to research everything first. it's like an observe-hypothesize-prove kind of process. i observe patterns and behaviors of myself and the people in my life, and then i try to make connections between those patterns and behaviors to the charts of the person exhibiting them, in an attempt to make sense of what i notice. then i research more about the specific placements and details to see if my hypothesis is correct. it's really fun! i love noticing patterns and making connections, especially on my own. i feel like a sleuth. but with synastry, i really genuinely do get a headache. like seriously right now my head is killing me, but maybe i've also been staring at my screen and processing blue light for way too long. im really sensitive to energy as well i think, and so i think even in reading charts, i pick up subconsciously on the energy written in them and it really impacts me. and with synastry, it's twice the energy because it's two people. im seeing our entire relationship just layed out on a website and i am feeling the full weight of it - good and bad, ups and downs. it's a lot. i feel gratitude because i see that the people i love deeply will be in my life for a long time. but then i feel anxiety and dread seeing the reality of all our ups and downs. you would think that insight into the challenges of our connection would relieve me because it makes me more prepared. but it doesn't. it just makes me scared because either way i know that i am not someone who fares well in conflict. i dont want the people in my life to leave. and even if a synastry chart says they will be in my life for a long time, that still doesn't change the fact that deep down i am scared they'll leave anyway. people are unpredictable and fate is not sealed. it is written in my belief like a suggestion. an idea. a possibility open to change. and people change. maybe they'll love me for a while, but who's to say forever? synastry is a headache, because i see everything and everyone in my life that isn't guaranteed. i feel the weight of that, and it presses on me. particularly on my temple. it's pounding right now. but worse, on my heart.

do u think certain members are meant to be together? even tho a lot of ships on groups are obviously put on to draw in fans who might ship them do u think theres any genuine relationships between group members or do they see themselves as being coworkers? again i think woosan and seongjoong are quite interesting but idk if its real or not or if delulus just want it to be real.

do u also think kpop is deliberately aiming for younger generations with its constsnt flood of tiktok related junk that it puts out? altho i find myself being fond of a few members of every other group or maybe i like their songs idrc for the latest trendy tiktok things its just gimmick after gimmicks nd i think kpop is profitting so much off younger groups who are more willingly going to get hooked on such trends to promote their groups. theres barely groups my age to follow literally even gidle have been a let down, is that just the members self sabotaging? lately their songs quality seem to be going downhill to the point where if a group releases noise its not remotely interesting enough or i might listen a few times but i dont feel any sort of vibe from it. oh its another thing theyre doing for tiktok to get hooked on another dance yadayadayada do u have any similar thoughts on why so many songs are just badly done auto tuned as heck and generic lyrics that arent inspiring? kpop couldve had so much going for it just to be like ehhh heres more of the samey groups where all members look dress and sound similar.

idk no ones ever really asked me to date so im like ehh whatever to dating atm if i was supposed to be in relationship someone wouldve asked me by now but they havent so i will take that as a means of being single until the day i die or some shit. also maybe my looks or facial expressions just arent pretty or not expressive (i have that glare that the likes of lee know tends to have, might put someone off from approaching me) or im underskilled in a lot of aspects that some ppl may judge me for as being talentless or behind in life, hbu?

I think it's a mix of both. Some groups have genuine friendships with each other and some groups are simply coworkers. Both are fine. As long as they are mature about differences and treat each other with basic respect and decency (literally the bare minimum), then I don't see the issue at all. Being an idol is just a job after all. If they are able to form a genuine connection with a member or all of them, then that's great.

Do I think certain members are meant to be together? No. I don't think anyone is meant to be together tbh. The idea of fated partners and soulmates is cute, but I don't think exists. It works best in fiction. But I know some people's bonds and compatibilities are so strong that it can feel like they were fated and that's totally fine. It's sweet. Even my best friend and I joke about us being meant to be and being "married". And yes I do agree that some ships are definitely pushed more to the public to draw more attention. Some ships may be close, some ships may not be, and we'll never 100% know as we are not those people. If you want my own thoughts on WooSan and SeongJoong though, I do think they're actually close, just not in the way some delulus try to say lol. WooSan have a matching tattoo (it would be absolutely insane to have something permanent with a person you're not close to lmao) and SeongJoong have expressed deep care to each other several times. Even though astrology isn't everything, it's interesting how SeongJoong's synastry is so harmonious.

Yes most likely, I think kpop has often been targeted towards younger audiences. Especially now with so many young people debuting. The industry is saturated and very competitive, so maybe that's why a lot of songs lately are a bit generic and uninspiring. Its heavy use of TikTok I'm sure is just a way to promote and gain attention since it's one of the biggest social media platforms rn. I can't speak much for gidle as I don't follow them...I don't think it's self sabotage though, it just sounds like you are not vibing with their music anymore. Sounds like you are losing interest with kpop in general and that's ok.

Why do you want to wait for someone to ask you out? Why don't you pursue someone? Maybe it's you who has to make the move - don't wait for it. But only if you care that much lol. I don't think you have be very pretty and expressive to get a date, but looks can def play a part in attracting someone. You don't have to be the prettiest or the best in general really to get someone though.

I'm aro ace with no interest in pursuing romance, so it isn't a concern of mine at all. I also have the same deal of having an angry face unintentionally at times + also quite expressionless and I don't consider my looks to be traditionally pretty (not calling myself ugly, i do think i'm pretty, just not by society's standards), yet I've still had people crush on me somehow 😅 if it's possible for me then it's possible for you lmao.

Wrong Memories

Part 1

Five Hargreeves x OC!Female Reader

Warning(s): swearing

A/n:This is the first fic I wrote here on Tumblr and I have no idea how to feel about it 😅 also english isn't my first language

43 babies were born on the 12th hour of October 1st 1989. An eccentric billionaire named Reginald Hargreeves manages to buy and adopt seven of these children and would soon raise them, utilise their powers and call them 'The Umbrella Academy'.

Along side Reginald was his assistant Pogo and his house caretaker named Elizabeth, they were the people who took care of these children throughout their childhood.

Although, little did Reginald know that his trusted caretaker also had a child at the exact same time as the other mothers of his adoptive children.

He ignored this coincidence knowing that he only needs seven children to execute his project. He had let her keep the child in his mansion since he couldn't care less about it and thought that she could be some sort of back up if anything happens.

Elizabeth (or Beth for short) named her daughter Adley, Adley Cooper. But similar to any other story, a tragic incident happened to her mother because of someone she treated like a sister. Vanya Hargreeves.

When Vanya was a young child, she had no control over her abilities which caused Elizabeths death and many other 'Nannies' Reginald has hired, thus Grace was created.

Using Allisons abilities, Reginald made Adley forget that Vanya was the cause of Elizabeth's death in the first place. For he knew what Adley was capable of yet he still ignores her potential.

Because of this, Adley cant help the nightmares that come to her every night, this would frightened her most of the time, but also saddens her. Her eyes would fill up with tears in the memory of her mother.

So to avoid such scenarios, she would simply climb out the window and sit on the roof to gaze at the stars above. Astrology was always her favourite thing to study since her mother always took an interest in the moon and stars.

One night she jumped off the window because another one of those horrible nightmares occurred once more, she was blinking away her tears and she was also having hiccuped breaths, she was sitting with her knees up her chin and her arms wrapped around them. She often wondered if her mother was watching her from above, since she always told her that her ancestors that passed all became their own star up in the sky.

She was deep in thought when a voice suddenly startled her.

“The hell are you doing up there?” came Five's voice in a hush, his eyebrows connected together in confusion and his eyes narrowed at her. Ah yes, Five Hargreeves, the most stubborn human being she could ever think of.

Five and Adley often fought eachother, not physically of course, more on academics mostly. She was just as prideful as Five but in her own way, she often denies it refusing accept that fact, but they also enjoy eachothers company though they would never admit that to one another.

They often had study sessions together once Adley was done with all her chores and when Five was done with training.

This all started when they were barely the age of 8. The Umbrella Academy was advanced in their study and Adley would often join them in their lessons with Pogo.

She went to their living room one day expecting it to be empty since she saw the 'umbrellas' outside playing, she was surprised to see Five there sitting on the floor with his legs crossed and a book in hand.

"What do you want?" Five grumbled, his head turning to face her with an annoyed look.

“I came here to read dimwit" answered Adley, “I didn't think you'd be here”

She went over to the shelves and pulled out her favourite fantasy book called 'Harry Potter'.

“Really?” Five mocked, “Your reading that?” he pointed at her book without removing his hand on the one he was holding.

Adley confidently sat on the sofa above him and opened her book, “Yeah, whats wrong with it?” she asked.

“Its a fantasy book” replied Five, “Why dont you try reading something more useful? Like me.” he showed her what he was reading, the book was filled with numbers and calculations, something a normal 8 year old would almost never understand.

"You have plenty of time to study that with Pogo during your lessons pea for brain" she teased, "But this, is more fun to read" she held up her book and Five subconsciously closed his and sat next to her.

"Well what's it about?" He asked,

"Listen to this-"

From that day forward their relationship grew to something better in a way, they became 'Frenemies' of some sort.

“Im not asking again Adley, what the hell are you doing up there?” asked Five, he jumed up to join her on the roof while wearing his pajamas. He was supposed to be asleep at that time, but he suddenly woke up feeling his throat dried up.

“Had another nightmare” she whispered.

That night, they both sat in silence when Five put an arm around her in a comforting way. He knew about the awful nights she had, she often spilled it out when they were having a conversation, but he doesn't know what to do when they actually occur, mostly because he never actually saw them happen.

But either way, he gave her comfort that night. In a way that only the both of them knew, in a way that only the both of them felt.

Five hits his knife on the table.

'This kid' Adley thought as she rolls her eyes while she stood next to grace.

“Number Five?” Reginald asks while enjoying his dinner.

“I have a question.” Five states, his hands joined together while his elbows are on the table.

“Knowledge is an admirable goal” Reg spoke, "But you know the rules, no talking during mealtimes, you are interrupting Herr Carlson”

Adley smirked at Reginald's response, knowing well enough that Five would lose this argument he's starting.

“I want to time travel.” Five declared, his expression is visibly filled with frustration towards his father.

“No” Reginald quickly answered, not even sparing his son a glance.

“But I'm ready” fought Five, “I've been practicing my spacial jumps just like you said”

He then teleported himself next to his father, “See?”

“A spacial jump is trivial when compared with the unknowns of time travel” his father informed, “One is like sliding along the ice, the other is akin to descending blindly into the depths of the freezing water and reappearing as an acorn” he sipped his wine.

“Well I dont get it” Five murmured loudly.

Adley held on to a laugh when she heard Five's response.

“Hence the reason you're not ready”

Five took a glance at Adley, she silently shook her head no with a smirk on her face. Five talked about asking his father to finally let him travel in time other than just space, in which Adley laughed in his face jokingly. They both knew what kind of father Reginald is, so she informed him that he would never agree to it.

“I'm not afraid.”

“Fear isnt the issue, the effects it might have on your body, even your mind are far too unpredictable” he spoke firmly, "Now, I forbid you to talk about this anymore."

With that, Five stormed out of the academy with heavy footsteps.

“Number Five!” Reginald exclaimed, “Adley follow that boy." He ordered

Adley obediently nodded and ran after Five yelling his name.

"Five" she said, "Five!"

They both ran outside the academy, strangers eyes following them as they engaged themselves in another loud argument.

"Can you believe him?!" Five shouted, still marching with anger on the sidewalk, “How could he think that I'm still not ready?! I'm 15 for fucks sake!” he threw his arms up in frustration, his eyes narrowed at everyone on the street.

“Five maybe hes right for all we know okay?” Adley loudly argued, “I mean how much do we really know about time travel?! Let me answer that for you, none!”

“Oh we both know I'm ready Adley” Five huffed through gritted teeth as he moved Adley from his left side to the right to avoid cars and other vehicles, “I've been training my ass for months!”

“Come on” Adley whined as he locked her arms with Five, ”Lets just go back to the academy Five-”

But before she could even finish her sentence, she felt her surroundings spinning and warping with her feet slightly lifting from the ground before coming back down in a split second, she hurled since her head was still spinning but Five kept on walking with a fast pace.

"Not ready my ass" he whispered just loud enough for her to hear, "Look around!" He exclaimed with excitement.

Adley lifted her head to see the shops with different items, the sun shining brighter and the people dressed for a different weather- 'Its summer-' she thought to herself.

Seeing her surroundings her grip on Fives arm become tighter.

Five must've jumped further into the future because the summer suddenly become fall, then fall suddenly became winter, and then winter became- fire?___________________

"What the hell?-" Five whispered.

Both of them looked at eachother and nodded, they sprinted back to the academy yelling for Vanya, Ben, Dad or anyone at this point.

"Five-" Adley said with her voice trembling, her eyes wide and her body shaking slightly as she stared at the place where the academy once stood.

Five looked over at Adley, his face full of regret and guilt.

He tried to go back, really tried, but nothing happened. They were stuck there

"Where are we, or- when? Are we?” she uttered, composing herself, trying to think that Five would soon get them out of there.

"The apocalypse." Five whispered

She slightly gasped, fear taking over her body since she just froze there in place.

After a while, the shock decreased slightly, they started to look around for anyone, or even anything to let them know what time they were in. And in doing so, they found a few bodies just outside the academy, and what made it worse was the realization of who these were.

The tattoos were visible on their wrist, and the fact that they were reaching out for eachother brought a tear to both Adley and Fives eyes.

"It can't be-" Five whimpered, his hands reaching down for his siblings lifeless bodies, "It can't." He repeated.

Adley reached out for him, hugging him from behind, her own tears staining his jacket. They both knelt there, both grieving the loss of their family.

They both walked around for what felt like hours trying to find items that are still usable for them, thankfully some canned items were still delectable and some blankets and clothing were also usable. They've put all these items on a cart they found along with other items, but it seemed that Adley was the only one doing most of the work, Five was too busy reading a book Vanya wrote that they found in what was left of the Academy.

She'd let him to it without complaining though, finding some salvageable items seemed to be distracting her from the current situation they're in.

They both found some clothing suitable for the current environment they were in and decided to change their attire and start walking, trying to find a place suitable to stay for a while.

The further they walked, the more they realized that the world seemed to have ended because of some explosion, everything was on fire and it looked like the buildings were shook by some sort of earthquake.

At night fall they both agreed to set up camp on an open field and stay there for the mean time.

Adley knelt to the ground and grew a circle of thin trees surrounding them like some sort of tent with an opening at the top for the fire they started, and another one which acted like a doorway. She grew thick and soft grass for them to lay in and some fresh berries since it was Fives favourite.

This is what Adley's abilities are, Chlorokinesis.

It is the ability to mentally and/or physically summon, control and manipulate plants and vegetation. The person with the ability can control and manipulate wood, rock soil, roots, fruits, and flowers, even moss found in natural field or habitat.

After a while Five suddenly broke the silence between them all day.

Lifting his head from the book and his writings for the calculation he was doing he spoke, “I'm sorry.”

“What for?” Adley asked, her gaze on the fire infront of them.

“For dragging you here” he answered, his eyes following hers, they both stared into a flames for a few seconds before she spoke again.

“Its not your fault Five” she stated, “I mean how could you possibly know what was waiting for us in the future?” she questioned.

“But still.” Five swallowed hard, he started to tear up once more, his hands gripping the pen he had harshly, his eyes avoiding hers, “I should've listened."

“Five.” Adley firmly said, her body still, but her eyes showed determination, “I want you to tell me that you know that this isn't your fault.”

“But-”

“Five Hargreeves.”

Five gulped, she had never used his full name before, it was always his first or last, and most of the time insulting nicknames.

“This. Isnt. Your. Fault” she said slowly, “Where we are right now might be an apocalypse, but what you did was still remarkable”

Five smiled softly, but Adley could tell it was a forced one.

She knew she should be angry at Five right now, she knew that she could yell at him, insult him and curse him for not listening to his father and herself, but she couldn't, not when he was already blaming himself, not when theres no point in lashing out at him right now, and not when he was looking at her like that. With his eyes brimming with tears.

She knew how Five always acted like he was better than everyone else. But she knew that he only acted that way because he thinks he's not good enough, he thinks that if he doesn't do the very best he'd be considered as a disappointment. He may seem self-centred and stubborn but he's really just a boy. Just a boy.

"You getting soft on me now peanut?” she laughed

“Way to ruin the moment birds nest” Five retorted

"Oh we were having a moment?" Mocked Adley, "In the middle of the apocalypse?-"

They've been living in the apocalypse for what felt like forever.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years.

10 years. They've spent 10 years together in this waste land, hiking every once in a while for the search of usable items and delectables, and a better place to stay along with water sources.

Fives calculation was still incomplete, many many books and notepads were filled with numbers as he squiggles away with his pencil, always focusing on his work. He was focused and determined for one thing and one thing only, and that was to get Adley back home.

At this point he's already lost hope, but in some way, in some almost impossible way, Adley always found a way to encourage him.

He doesn't know if its the endless bickering, the daily playful insults, or just Adley being herself. Everything she does just makes his world spin, his heart beat, and his cheeks flushed.

He'd always felt like this, even back at the academy, when he wakes up with her having his coffee ready for him, her always accompanying him every time he felt lonely, her just being there especially when he needs it.

Sure they may always argue but thats just how the both of them are, two entirely different yet similar people. Its their bond, and in some way, its how they show their love.

When Five was busy once more taking his time analyzing his current calculations, he noticed a man wearing a suit and sunglasses standing at the other end of their fortress.

He quickly pulled out his gun and looked over the doorway beside him to see if Adley already arrived from her little 'trip' to find anything useful.

"Who the hell are you?" Five yelled.

"Sir" the man spoke, which made Five grip his gun tighter, "I am James Miller, from The Commission, and assistant of The Handler" he kept his arm infront of him, holding them together.

Five was now curious, 'What the hell is 'The Commission' and who the hell is this handler person? And most importantly, what does this guy want and how the hell did he survive the apocalypse looking like this?'

"What do you want."

"We'd like to recruit you and your partner to work with us." He blantly stated.

Wow this guy was getting straight to the point.

"Work with who?" Five asked, "And work with what?-" his guard was suddenly let down a bit, his tense shoulders relaxing slightly, with his gun being lowered slowly.

"We'd like to hire you as professional assasins." James declared, "And get you out of this apocalypse."

"And how the hell are you supposed to do that?" Now Five was visibly getting more frustrated by the second. His aim went directly infront of the man and James reluctantly put his arm up as a gesture of coming in peace.

"Hey Five" said Adley as she walked through the doorway, her eyes glued down to the new trinkets she'd found by wondering around, "I think I found a friend for Dolores back at the-"

James subconsciously pulled out his pistol from his back pocket and pointed it at Adley due to the surprise of her entry.

Instinctively, Five teleported infront of her and was now visibly angry at the man that stood a couple pf feet away from them.

"Put it down." Five quietly said in a threatening way, enough for James to hear. "If you come in peace then why the hell did you just point a gun at Adley?."

James took a second to stare at the two and carefully put his pistol back to his side. He looked at his watch and saw that time was running out.

He sighed as he looked at Adley and Five once more, he knew he had to take atleast one of them back to her since he's only able to carry one person at the time.

His hands glowed with an almost blinding light, Five and Adley's eyes turned white and their limbs softened, making Five drop his gun and his jaw slacked.

"Adley Cooper, age of 25" he started, "Will have no memory of Five Hargreeves nor the apocalypse, or even your life before today."

And with that he let go of Adley, watching as she fainted and fell to the ground with a soft thud, he then turned to Five.

"Five Hargreeves, age of 25" James spoke, "Will be able to keep your memories, but Adley Cooper shall be replaced with-" he looked around their so called 'fortress' and saw mannequin on the corner of it, "With that mannequin, the name Adley would also be replaced with 'Dolores' on your mind and memories"

As he closed his hands Five gasp for air and fell with another thud. And with that picked up his briefcase and knelt next to Adley, holding her arms and bringing her to the commission.

(eg. 1st - people assuming things about you, 5th - people beating around the bush, 7th - things that disrupt the harmony of your environment, 9th - the need to hold back your opinions because others get bothered by them being "offensive")

👩🏻‍🦲 cancers are true ambiverts and i've truly never ever seen a cancer who wouldn't be both introverted and extroverted at times. they are always either social introverts or quiet extroverts lol. or both!! (somehow 0_0) they enjoy people's attention, whether it's wanting to be noticed or appreciated or generally cared for, and they need their alone time. they tend to be very productive at those times, too.

HEY!!! Its me the anon who wrote about Minhyuk. Tbh idk where i read that info on Minhyuk so im sorry :( i dont have anymore tea.

Both him and Jooheon have strong and intense energies due to their libra and scopio placements. To me Minhyuk looks like someone who would be willing to go to extremes to get what he wants with his scorpio energy. Its been said that he is the scariest member when angry so that another reason why I said it. Maybe the company is not giving him what they promised and he had no other choice. With Jooheon he loves the attention he gets and he literally oozes charisma hence the intensity. It has been also mentioned that he can be a bit egotistical and is a jealous person. Maybe he is also not getting what he was promised and had no choice either, but to me he is more of a sulking type of guy who would end up going to someone (connections) to back him up. Idk why but Minhyuk to me comes off as more aggressive, yet I could be wrong. The reality is we don't them and we don't know what is truly happening bts or what will happen. We are only assuming using tarot, astrology and info leaked on the internet.

Regardless, Monsta X (minus I.M) resigning with the company is such a poor decision in my eyes. Do you think you could do reading on WHY they decided to stay instead of leaving???

There's a very quiet note of knowing that they might not be able to uphold everything they currently do under different management. There's also the strange feeling that they would all kind of end up having to choose their personal careers instead of fighting to renegotiate to all be together. Not that they don't love each other, they just know that in the end they have their own affairs and a company is only going to make so many affordances unless the investment brings HUGE returns. Shownu: 8oP, 5oS, 7oC, Strength rev, Hierophant. He's ready to take on a new start and new path, but he's making sure his money/resources are still stable until he's ready to transition honestly. He could be thinking about/going to school to see where the wind takes him. He also feels slightly pressured not paying back those who gave him everything he owns now, aka the fans. Jooheon: Tower, Emperor, HM, 6oP rev, 2oS. Know that he likely made a huge stink about what he wanted and surely fought for a LONG TIME. He could have even started laying the bricks before negotiations to let them know that he was going to press them until they gave it up or let him go. He wasn't thinking about friendship there bc it feels like there was the agreement that they have to be reasonable about resources and wouldn't fight each other about it. He guaranteed grabbed starship by the nuts and took a powerdrill to them until starship yelled uncle. Overall, he chose to stay because he wanted to, but not without making it accommodate himself, period. Minhyuk: 5oC, 4oP, 10oP, 4oC, KnoP. This guy was also probably keeping starship execs up at night. Except instead of shooting missiles outside their homes, he was doing his big one passive aggressively. Hinting at leaving, huffing and puffing. He set expectations and expected them to be followed. In the end, he definitely got what he wanted. Kihyun: WOF, KoC, Magi, AoP, 3oW. This guy probably gave them the least headache. The decision was easy for him since he sees plenty of abundance, love and opportunity with their current situation. He's on upward trajectory and has full intentions to see it all the way though. There is also the quiet idea that he'd be the only or one of the few to remain with the company even if the group broke up. Hyungwon: QoC rev, QoS, AoC, Empress, 6oP. It seems he's completely indebted to his loyalty to the company and his members. He loves them, but he also has great opportunities that he doesn't care to run off anywhere else and have to start over. He's comfortable and loved and doesn't see a reason to switch it up. Everything seems to be good in the hood for him and Kihyun both. He could have even met a lover/partner through the company or someone that works in the industry. So he's just having a good time, period.

“extrovert-passing introverts” // aquarius stelliums are great at being social, and they like connecting with people, but they tend to hate being social at the exact same time, they like isolation/alone time and can have a pretty short fuse for dealing with people (it’s pretty conflicting! they have a love-hate relationship with being social lol, it highly depends on the house of the aquarius stellium in this case)

they tend to have that “social battery”, but it works both ways. they need social interaction for happiness (esp aquarius moon/venus), but they also usually need a day or three to recharge after social interactions/gatherings

despite their very chill, calm exterior i do find they get irritated and frustrated pretty easily, they have a very low tolerance for people’s bs and they aren’t usually great at hiding their annoyance (mostly because they simply don’t care to; in an aquarian’s mind they don’t generally see why they would hide their emotions for your sake)

surprisingly very stubborn! people expect them to be open since they’re an air sign; and mind you, they are very good at listening and understanding new ideas, concepts, ways of thinking/doing things, etc., but it’s pretty rare for aqua dominant people to change their ways/mind; and if they do it has to be on their own terms & feel like it was their own choice/idea

they can have issues when it comes to embracing & accepting their emotions; they tend to intellectualize and try to rationalize everything they feel (this will depend heavily on the individual’s moon though)

tend to be musically and/or artistically inclined, usually the most talented and creative people you’ll ever meet (i find most aquarians use art/music as an outlet; and a huge chunk of aquarius stelliums i’ve “studied” or read for have made their careers in the art fields)

i’ve noticed they tend to stutter a lot when speaking! aquarian dominant people (esp aquarius moons, mercurys) have this habit of speaking before they’ve actually formed the thought/planned out what they were gonna say: so they kinda of just ��sjlkfdjdlkf” irl sometimes or take a while to finish their sentence (scattered speaking style)

they don’t like talking about their emotions/feelings unless they can be self-deprecating about it or make a relatable meme/joke out of it

very analytical people and they overthink anything and everything that people say and do (especially with aquarius moon and/or mercury)

they’re quite blunt, they don’t generally sugarcoat things and can be as cutthroat as aries/capricorn are stereotyped to be

on that note, they often just say what’s on their mind at the time and they don’t intend to hurt people, they just don’t often realize the things they’re saying are hurtful/too blunt

aquarians are very, ‘why would i filter myself for someone? i don’t want people to filter to me’, and it can be hard for them to understand some people’s sensitivities in conversation

they really despise copycat or reflector-type individuals; their biggest turn-offs tend to be those who follow the crowd, don’t think for themselves, mold themselves for others, etc

aquarians can take a really, really long time to fall in love i find, as they tend to not care for it and usually just view people in a “friend way”, but once they find “their person” they are 100000% committed and will probably make big steps (from saying “i love you” to straight up moving in together, marriage, etc) very fast

undeveloped they do run a habit of having “hot and cold” relationships; a tendency to become super attached very fast only to flip the switch and detach shortly after, usually after they lose interest or become too comfortable

on the topic of romance again, aquarians also (or at least as i’ve noticed) do not use “i love you” very easily or lightly, even if they DO love you and you’re best friends/in a committed long-term relationship/etc, they don’t use the phrase very often and tend to save it for very select times

again can have a lot of trouble expressing their feelings and emotions so they can be a bit awkward at first and for a while in relationships

these individuals are very committed to their work and hobbies, they tend to put those above everything else in their life. a lot of people forget the aquarian connection to saturn; aquarians are usually very committed to their jobs and work very hard when they’re in the work-zone

i saw that ask you mentioned me in (you're so right btw!!) and even though i literally just woke up i am now In My Feelings about lee know. the thing that pisses me off about the "meanhoe" nickname and the way that some stays treat him is that, and i've said this in the tags of a lot of 2kr gifsets before, but me and lee know have the exact same personality. call it Scorpio Things or whatever, but when it comes to showing affection to the people we care about, lee know and me are exactly the same. i noticed it the most during the 2kr episode with him and chan, watching it felt so familiar because it was like every close friendship i've ever had - the other person would be acting all cute and clingy and i'd be like 🙄😒 but actually i'd appreciate a lot and in return i'd just like...... take care of them? we're the mum friends, like we're ride or die and we'll look after you and we'll love you forever but we're also going to complain about it the entire time. so when those stays act like lee know is actually genuinely being mean and cold it extra breaks my heart because it's so obvious to me that he's not. me and lee know look cold on the outside but on the inside we're made up entirely of heart emojis, we're like cats that show we love you by sitting quietly in the same room as you. and the fact that stays have even said it to him?? like actually told him on vlive that they think he's mean??? unthinkable, that must be so upsetting for him ☹ obviously the members understand him and love him and know that when he's being sassy or threatening their lives he doesn't actually mean it so like, how can people calling themselves a stay not get that? when it's so obviously the case??? idk man

- i really try to go out of my way to be there for the people around me as a consequence from being bullied in middle school. i always feel like people might be going through something that those around them don’t know about, so being mean can be really unnecessary at times?? that’s why i feel guilty whenever i get into arguments since i dont want people to remember me as someone who hurt them.

- at the same time being sympathetic to everyone and being introverted sometimes prevent me from standing up for myself at some point so that’s something i’m trying to work on as of now

Alright a lot of reasons for this one, and I promise it’s not just cause you like to bake. (DONT @ ME PLEASE).

Insecurities, yall have the same ones. Masky is so so overwhelmed with work, but for some reason he feels like it’s not enough. He might complain about it and nag but he will. Not. Stop. It’s not that he’s strong or whatever, but he feels guilty if he dosen’t do as much as he did the week before. He’s really sensitive about that too so. You would pretty much be a great match for him, if you reassure him and let him know it’s ok to take breaks he will do the same for you. He cares so much for you that one day he will understand the toll it is on his partner when they overwork themselves.

I think if you wrote Masky a poem he would faint. Sitting him down and reading it to him, he would make an expressionless face and then make gruff noises under his mask (if he wears it), it would be to cover up for his crying. He will deny it, but you have to go and give him a hug, he won’t let go.

The man likes to listen to music with you, a nice night by the chimney with you. He also hangs up all the artwork that you make, and he loves looking at them during the day. They are these wonderful reminders that he has the best partner ever. On another note, he’s not a brainiac, and around you especially he treats you like his all. This your body is perfect regardless of your stretch marks and because he had slender sickness he gets the mental issues. Very very supportive about that.

I do not KNOW if you are a minor or not, if you are not then you should definitely read CAKE, if you are stay THE FUCK AWAY. He’s literal hubby material (AGAIN DILF ALERT), and he accompanies you in the kitchen. Whipping up some batter he will get up and stand behind you, giving you a hug and putting his hands on his. Nuzzling up to you and giving you all the love in the world, if he’s in a playful mood then put some batter on his nose and get into a food fight with him, he needs to relax. Walks in the woods with you are his favorite :)

How old are they?: he’s 16!

How tall are they?: 5’6!

What’s their zodiac sign?: I haven’t really thought about his birthday yet- but he’s probably be a Capricorn! (I know nothing about astrology so I’m sorry-)

Favorite activity on a rainy day?: Practicing his abomination conjuring, among other spells he needs to learn for school, and protecting the house from THE BOILING RAIN!

What is their favorite color?: he likes nature-y colors, like dark greens, and light and dark browns.

What is their favorite subject in school?: since this is Hexside, it’s ABOMINATIONS.

What are their hobbies?: he doesn’t really have much time to himself, so I don’t think he has many hobbies.

Favorite dessert?: some sort of chocolate covered bug. (Dont ask me why, I don’t really know.)

A song they like?: he doesn’t really have too much time is listen to a lot of music, but there is this one lullaby his mother sang him when he was a baby. He remembers that.

If they were a dog breed, what would they be?: A blood hound. No pun intended.

Biggest pet peeve?: Laziness. He hates it.

How do they act when they have a crush?: he would have to open up to them before actually developing feelings, but when he does... he’s gonna be a blushing mess. He would find it so annoying that he can’t focus on his work without his mind wandering to them.

What hogwarts house would they be sorted into?: Slytherin!

What is the prettiest thing they’ve ever done?: he’s thoughtful, he notices little things about you when you talk to him. This means, if he’s feeling like defending himself, he could point out flaws you didn’t even know you had. He doesn’t do that often, but that’s the pettiest thing he does.

How are they when they cook?: he’s decent at cooking, he knows enough about cooking to survive so that’s good!

Their idea of a perfect date?: A trip to an aquarium, zoo, or museum, and maybe a nice dinner afterward. He would enjoy that.

Are they left handed or right handed?: he’s Ambidextrous! His left hand is stronger, though.

Are they more of a dog person or a cat person?: a cat person!

What was their Halloween costume last year?: he doesn’t really dress up for Halloween much anymore, but he has a Halloween sweater so, that’s good.

What was their favorite show growing up?: he probably would have watched soap operas with his aunt when he was a child.

Do they have any tattoos? And if not, what tattoos would they want?: he has the abomination coven tattoo on his wrist, but if he were to get another tattoo, it would be a small Koala somewhere, it’s his Palismen, after all.

Do they believe in the supernatural?: Yes.

Do they like cheesy romantic novels/movies/shows?: not really, he doesn’t hate it, but he doesn’t like it either. He’s pretty neutral about them.

Do they prefer tea or coffee: Black coffee! Though he likes tea, too, but black coffee is more useful to him. Caffeine.

Special talent of their’s?: he knows how to do some tricks with a yo-yo!

Something they’re really passionate about: as I’ve mentioned before, Abominations!

A secret of their’s?: he has a few things he doesn’t talk much about, but he can’t (and won’t) swim, he fears that the parasite that infected his mother would infect him too and worsen his condition, and he wouldn’t be able to help himself and his aunt make money to pay off bills.

Do they have an aesthetic they really like?: Dark academia. I feel like he would like that.

A funny story they like to tell?: he isn’t really one to tell too many funny stories. He likes to listen to others who do it.

Something they’re really proud of?: his skill in the Abomination track. He’s a bit obsessed with that work-

A description of their relationship with other characters?: Well, he has a strong younger sibling-older sibling relationship with my other owl house character, Briar. Julian also has a lovely little friendship with @ruby-tears ‘s Bellamy, and a cure but weird friendship with @star-freckled-kitten ‘s Achille. Like, Achille picks on him, but no one else can on Achille’s watch.

If they’re a story character, a lil vague spoiler?: I only have a vague blur of his future, because the rest of the owl house has yet to come out yet, but if I were to write the rest of his story, and disregard the rest of the Owl House canon, like an au, the spoiler would be the words: “wrong choices.”

A random fact?: there is a slight difference between the colors of his eyes, one is a light green and the other is darker.

I have SOME kyle/demar thoughts but sadly like.. not a TON... which is weird because they're literally one of my top fav ships and the first ship I saw that really got me into sports tumblr LMAO. So it's not like I DONT think about it because I DO but I think they're just so popular with so many other supporters and analysts of their ship that it's like??? What thoughts can I have that a greater tumblr nba gay historian has already thought LMAO

BUT LIKE. I THINK ABOUT THEM NONETHELESS. My thoughts are just like?? Very plain to me tho idk!!! I hope u like them either way tho!!!!

So like.... uhh... you want sad!!! Hmm!! I can give that!! That's also what makes kyle/demar so great like... you can focus on the sad parts of their relationship if you want, the goofy, or the soft! It's a whole package deal of different emotions! BUT ANYWAYS UH

I'm SERIOUSLY not an astrology knowledge expert like FR I have no idea what a rising is or stuff so... u can take any mistakes I make in saying this with a grain of salt BUT

Demar is a Leo and like.. that just sticks out to me. I think most like??? Regular zodiac analysts like to think that ALL Leos are extroverted, selfish, comedic braggarts with a lot of pride because uhh?? It's a lion I guess? And lions are used to being the head of the pride so. King mentality but like... demar isn't like that. He's in that special category of leos that are generally super quiet, but like FLIP A SWITCH only when they're with a really trusted friend. As long as they're with people they trust enough and feel confident enough with, they're going to show a louder part of their personality! But ONLY if they're with the specific people they CHOSE to let see it... and that takes a lot of trust and time and love... and demar being so happy and having so many antics with Kyle just really exemplifies the amount of devotion he has for him. Those kinda leos and their relationships are just really beautiful to me because they're usually pretty cool with everyone, but they pick like ONE (or just a few) specific people to devote all their trust and care into because they truly believe that that person will give it back. They're an introvert who's willing to turn extrovert all for one person who they believe deserves to see it and wants to see it. It's a very special and deep relationship that often develops without them even knowing how tbh! They just know that they've made best friends with that person they chose and they're gonna stay best friends as long as they live and breathe.

Leos like that really Value their one special relationship.. they sometimes believe they'll never have another one like it and are therefore afraid of losing it... secretly, but powerfully, they get worried easily about the other person not devoting as much care into the relationship as them. About that one person who they chose to put above air, moving on like the friendship was merely another footnote in a book that bored them.

And at the start, that would have been easy for Kyle to do.

Kyle sets goals and he gets them quick. He's an Aries, and that probably means something but I don't know much about aries so. I'll leave it at that LMAO. Anyways... what I mean is that like? Just because Kyle is cute n small and kinda giggly (especially when he's with demar) DOESNT mean he can't be a stubborn, prickly, and determined asshole. He can put certain things aside for a purpose that he thinks is better. He put aside his hurt at the demar trade to work for a championship with kawhi. And like. Yeah. I personally think the best think about Aries is loyalty, which is why Leos and Aries make such great friends. Shared loyalty, with the Aries remaining loyal to whoever helped them soften up their stubborness to allow some?? Self like... soothing to themselves? Because Aries can sometimes put aside too much for something that it gets unhealthy... and the leos remaining loyal to whoever they believe deserve it.

what I mean is that he'll always be loyal to demar even though he's having all this fun with kawhi. Because Demar was the one who bent down and whispered that he was always going to be there with him, even after the fact that Kyle missed a shot that could've won them an advancement. He was the one who let Kyle know that it's going to be okay and he'll always be there for him. And knowing that really helped settle Kyle's persistent??? Running. I guess. Either toward or from something, I don't know and I don't think Kyle knows either but.. yeah. Demar was the one who let Kyle know that he has someone in his corner and he's not fighting for something all alone. And Kyle, this guy who makes sure not to devote himself Too much into things, to make sure he doesn't let himself enjoy something for too much or too long... let himself relax for Demar because Demar let him know that it was okay.

So he'll never forget Demar for that.

But despite that loyalty, I think Demar still worries. Worried about losing someone that he never thinks he'll ever find again all because he couldn't play basketball better. He's been traded for 'a real superstar that can actually lead the north', and here's kyle... laughing with the Real Superstar. Smiling with The Real Superstar. Possibly even having a better relationship with The Real Superstar that overshadows the one he had with Demar.

And that's scary. Because it's a selfish worry, to not want someone to enjoy something with someone else as much as they enjoyed it with you... but he can't help but (quietly) want that because he's afraid. And he's alone. And he feels like he's going to lose the one person he chose to keep with him forever.

And that's scary. Really, really scary.
