no but they really are pulling up so many references from early-mid season 2 that it’s making me insane.

we’ve seen a reference/call back to:

2x04: buck introducing carla to eddie.

2x05: eva showing up with nathaniel

2x06: maddie being fearful of being watched in her new home

2x07: hen having to make a decision about her father.

and i can’t help but think about things we know or think could be coming up and how they also tie in to what was going on at that time:

2x07: shannon’s first appearance (eddie dating.)

2x08: the start of madney & “you don’t find it son, you make it.” (madney engagement & potential redux of the thomas/mitchell call)

2x10: continued eddie/shannon shenanigans & “you two have an adorable son.” (any further eddie dating arc & buck learning to understand the role he’s playing in christopher’s life.)

2x11: maddie seeking a divorce and doug lurking. (further ties into madney engagement/wedding)

2x12: chimney begins. (chim getting hurt)

anyway. these writers are SICK, and i’m feral.

I love house md. it’s gay, its homophobic. it’s ableist, it has some of the best disability representation I’ve seen. medical malpractice and felonies are committed pretty much every episode, some of these aren’t even related to the case. for as bonkers as everything gets it never stops being a medical drama. it a fucking sherlock adaptation

season one of supernatual is so funny to me. sam and dean will literally show up to the crime scene in some fuck ass flannels and dean is in his leather jacket and the cops are like "who the hell are you?" and dean will be like "oh, us? well we are obviously from the us fish and wildlife service who else could we possibly be???" 

meanwhile theyre in the craziest outfits known to mankind with no badge or anything, so the cops will ask for their IDs and they'll hand them the most unconvincing fake id you'll ever see. the thing will be crumpled to no return and look like it was all hand written by a toddler and SOMEHOW THE COPS STILL BELIEVE THEM??

and then, they'll start questioning the victims family like "aw man :( I'm so sad for you :( that must be really hard :( so like what happened? and on a completely separate note, did you see anything? feel a temp drop? did you feel a cold spot? did you see something weird? like a creature mayhaps? like a ghost? did you see a ghost? do you believe in ghosts? please tell me it's a ghost?" like that's a totally normal line of questioning for a random drowning from two members of the us fish and wildlife service.

God, I love the art this season so much. Not just because it's fucking gorgeous, (which it is.) But. like. look at this.

The Trio of Goblin Badasses (otherwise known as the Gukgak family):

First of all. Pretty. Second of all, look at their facial features. Riz's got his dad's ears, but his mom's nose. Sklonda's jawline and Pok's dark brows. This kid is the spitting image of his parents, a perfect combo of the two. Just like Kalina said in Sophomore Year.

Rewatching lazarus rising as one does,,, and holy shit the fact that this was misha collins portraying castiel for the very first time, that he was on as a GUEST STAR for a show that had been running for yearss, and he came in with his big blue eyes and gave THAT performance!!! Like no fucking wonder we bullied them into making him a series regular. Every fucking time I watch this episode I am so thrown by even the smallest tilts of his head,,, truly suchh a talented actor

One of the perks of living in Gotham is that occasionally you’ll walk past a Wayne having the most batshit insane conversation anybody has ever had.

Walk past Dick Grayson on the street and hear him say into his phone, “I don’t think he’s anti-vax, but Superman is definitely not vaccinated.”

Stand outside of the downtown WE building and see Tim Drake walk out with his tall friend only to pause and say, “Hold on, I just got the mental image of Lex Luthor pregnant. Thanks for that.”

A lucky few who ride the same subway line as the newest Wayne edition, overheard Duke tell Stephanie that living in Wayne Manor is, “Alright, but when I moved in Jason and Damian gave me a knife and said I had to kill Tim. Said it was tradition.”

“It kinda is. Did you do it?”

“No!” Duke says, to the relief of the overhearers. “Get this…he stabbed himself.”

“…yeah, I should’ve guessed that.”

The downside to living in Gotham is literally everything else.
