It'll be called "Penelope in Ithaca" and it'll be a romcom set in Ithaca NY where everybody's college-aged and all the frat boys are fighting to date Penelope while Odysseus is studying abroad. Athena is a meddling grad student. The household maids are Penelope's sorority sisters who think she's too good for Odysseus and are pushing her to date around more. I'll market it breathlessly on booktok and it'll make a gajillion dollars.

Monthly Poll: New Kinds of Special Candidates

In most Story of Seasons games, there's usually a few extra marriage candidates deemed "Special" that have extra requirements to marry. These have ranged from Gods and Goddesses, a kappa who hates you, a kitsune, a witch who requires ritualistic animal sacrifice, a mermaid, and even a mascot suit! With the next game on the (distant) horizon, and Olive Town not even including one, it feels like a good a time as ever to wish and wonder for something a little unusual in the dating pool again.

Hey, I think that ask about mc walking up to the ro’s as a talking duck may be referring to the scenes in the anime “I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss” where Aileen is dressed in a duck mascot suit to hide from her husband, Lord Claude.

I could be wrong about what the anon was thinking about when they wrote the ask, but I’m pretty sure that’s it.

I suppose that's possible (although I don't recall Aileen doing the equivalent of "...don't ask" to the RO), but considering that Merlin can literally transform the MC into a mallard duck in one path through Chapter 1, that's not really where my mind would go.

Also considering that the MC could already be cosplaying from the Matrix, Kill Bill, a random vampire, Jason from Halloween, a 16th century plague doctor, or a deep sea diver/astronaut from the beginning of the game, they're showing up in another costume would mostly get a "So you upgraded your wardrobe, huh?" reaction from the ROs who know them.

while waiting for my disability and having no income, i had the thought 'i could start a podcast'

this is when you know you've hit a low point.

considering making an onlyfans was at least practical, there i could make money. but a podcast would like, never get me anything.

(no hate or shame to onlyfans or sex workers. i just don't like to be perceived in a sexual way. people showing attraction to me genuinely makes me uncomfortable. maybe it's an ace thing, idk. but i think doing any sort of sex work would be bad for my mental health. so it's sort of a last option for me)

but i do thinking creating a podcast could be fun. not the recording and airing it part, but the part where I research shit I would talk about, and set up different discussions for episodes.

it would be fun in the same way that filling out a planner and adding cute stickers and labels and highlights is. like, i know i'm never gonna actually use the planner. but the process of making it was still fun

Here is something I have been thinking about for a few weeks and it’s that I think there should be outerwear for your bottom half that’s as easy to take on and off as a coat. I shouldn’t have to take my shoes off if I want to take off my warmer layer when I get inside. They should make, like, wraparound skirts that you fasten with a belt or ties or whatever that you can whip off and throw onto a coat hook or over the back of a chair the second you’re not outside in the wintry hellscape anymore. so funny how ive been going by sophie since i was 17 when it was still my middle name and i spent yeeeeears fighting for my family to accept it (some still dont) and two years ago ive finally also got it changed on my birth certificate and got new IDs and all that and NOW im like hmmm wouldnt it be kind of a vibe to switch back to alessandra tho 😗
