If I had a nickel for every book series I read this year, where the male main character and love interest is the dark, reclusive, and lethal heir to some sort of throne with a scar down one eye and scars on his back that serve as a reminder for something important who also happens to wield shadows/darkness as his manifested form of magic, I had two nickels.
Not sure what to do with it. I'm just sitting here laughing my ass off.
