Silly me, thinking I was immune to the siren-like allure of Making a Welcome Home AU™...! Thus, here is my as of yet untitled Watership Down AU. Left-to-right lineup with breeds and lore-appropriate names + tiny info tidbits under the cut.
Left to right: Wally (dwarf plush lop), Barberry (Flemish giant mix), Jewelweed (dwarf lop), Fern (wild European rabbit), "Eddie" Edelweiss (rex), "Thousand-Legs" Holly (continental giant), Salvia "Sally" Star-Sedge (lionhead), Poppy (English/giant angora mix).
Six feral domesticated rabbits (and one wild rabbit) wake up with very foggy memories in a beautiful, grassy warren. The warren is unusual in design, with strange materials in its tunnels, food sources and surrounding barriers, unlike anything they’ve ever seen before. Its sole inhabitant is a very small, very docile lop-eared bunny with big, wide eyes. He seems to be intimately familiar with this warren, which he calls “Home” and speaks of as though it is a person in and of itself. He could not have constructed such a thing himself.
Still, this new warren is idyllic. There’s abundant food, water, shelter, and even a strange structure overhead to protect them from swooping hawks. The little bunny, who calls himself Wally, is glad to let the other rabbits stay here and share this place with him, and they soon establish a stable, friendly social hierarchy. Wally does not seem to understand how the other rabbits behave, but they are all grateful for his generosity and find him endearing, and are happy, as such, to teach him how to be a well-rounded rabbit.
It begins to seem like paradise… Yet something sinister lurks behind the green bushes, something which Wally can sense keenly, something he waits every night for, with eyes wide and heart racing.
#welcome home au#welcome home#watership down#IF (big if!!!) I get the gumption to actually make this#it'll be a fic on AO3 (and hopefully one I can actually finish)#poppy could prolly use some work with her head floof... may redraw her at a later date#poor girl is just a giant ball of fluff... that is all she is#just a wool orb#with anxiety inside#huge cw for sad and awful things happening to sweet little animals with this one btw#watership down is... hm... dark!#this one doesn't take place in the cruel wilds but that sure doesn't mean there won't be death and horror

The scene of the Animorphs voting whether or not to make David one of them might be one of the best character moments in the entire series. You can read into everyone's actions in this scene so well.
Marco sees "the bright, clear line." David hasn't seen any of them yet. He doesn't know anything. Just giving him up to the Yeerks is incredibly cruel, but it's the safest option. At the same time, how much of this is just his personal feelings? He's the only one who dissents on the basis of personality. He doesn't really like the way David acts, but is that enough reason for concern or is he just writing him off because he can't stand being around him?
Cassie is eager to go for it. She had just taken a massively risky leap of faith with Aftran, and it had actually paid off. And if trusting a Yeerk could lead to good things, surely trusting a human would turn out even better. She's already seeing the big picture: maybe David is the first of many. Maybe they could extend their force even more and give themselves the opportunity to make a bigger difference.
Rachel starts out against it. Despite their frequent disagreements, she and Marco both share that ruthless streak and often end up on the same side of heavy decisions as a result. She's the first to agree with Marco about giving David up, and the first to voice against making him an Animorph. But Cassie's argument sways her over. Cassie is probably just thinking that more people equals more power, but Rachel frames it by saying that more people means they can afford to take bigger risks (something that Marco can't help but agree with). Cassie is thinking optimistically, but Rachel sees it from a warrior's perspective.
Tobias is for it, and of course he is. David is just like Tobias was back then: no real family, no real home, and effectively a stranger to the rest of the group. He can't give up on David. He needs to have faith that things will work out, the same way they did for him (in a way). There's literally no other choice, as far as he sees it. He says Jake should make the ultimate call but clearly doesn't actually believe that, seeing as how when Jake replies that they need to put it up to a vote, Tobias immediately votes in favor of making him an Animorph.
Ax in particular is fascinating to me here because he's the one who actually suggests making David an Animorph in the first place. At the start of the series, breaking the law of Seerow's Kindness and sharing Andalite technology with humans, let alone a complete stranger, would have been completely unthinkable to him. But now he's seen just how fallible Andalites can be. He's begun to doubt the pillars of his society, and has thrown his lot in with the humans instead. He makes a very human suggestion here. It's something you'd expect Cassie or Tobias to come up with, not Ax. When the vote actually comes around, however, he votes against it. Like Rachel, he views it from a military perspective, but comes to the opposite conclusion. More Animorphs would be good to add to their ranks, but he's been in an army before and this ain't exactly one of those. A seventh member isn't enough of an added benefit, and putting a stranger in the role is too much of a wild card when they're about to undertake such an important mission.
We don't know what Jake is thinking. He never provides an opinion, only stating the facts of the situation and prodding the others for their votes. He's presumably freaking out inside, but trying to keep a calm demeanor in the face of the biggest decision they've had to make up to this point. Any weakness at this pivotal moment could skew everything, so he has to remain as neutral as possible until he can properly collect his thoughts. He's the last of the group to make his vote, and he really doesn't end up making one in the end. David wakes up, sees them, and Jake decides to bring him into the group. If David hadn't woken up there, what would Jake have chosen: Safe but cruel, or risky but optimistic? We never get to find out what was going through his mind at that exact moment, only in the aftermath.
And of course, this is all underscored by the dramatic irony of what this will eventually lead to. The group decides against inaction, but by their actions, they will commit a horror upon David arguably just as bad as the Yeerks would have. Would it have been better to leave him behind and be haunted by what they didn't do, or to have tried to save him and be haunted by what they did do?

obsessed with the idea of snow x reader x lucy
like how you meet lucy first, being part of the covey
so obviously lucy and you are pretty close right off the bat
its a running joke around twelve that you guys will get married and somehow have children
its said with cruel intent but lucy sees it as the best possible future she could have
i mean why wouldn't she want to spend the rest of her life with you? she's already spent this much of it doing the same
all you two need to communicate with is one little look
its a furrow of the brows from her and wide eyes from you
lucy isn't a naturally anxious person- carefree and wild is more her lane
but when it comes to you, she can't help but almost mother hen you
always watching out for you during her concerts
and she won't hesitate to get in a fight with a local if it means getting his attention away from you
her worry only increases when she gets reaped
her first thought isn't even about herself
it's about you
if she's gone, you become public domain again
and the pair of you have made plenty of enemies who are just itching to get you alone
but before she can even take her first steps up the stairs a hand shoots out from the audience
someones taking her place- thank god
but, no, not thank god at all
in fact, there probably isn't even a god because if there was, then it wouldn't be you whose hand was raised
as if things couldn't get worse for the songbird
she gets ushered away and the two of you cross paths
she goes out to try to get a grip on you, but the guards yank her away
it's weird because she almost feels betrayed?
how could you do this to yourself? to her? how is she supposed to live if you aren't by her side?
as you make your way up the stage, every piece of you cracks in some way or another
the games have already begun to shape you into a monster
lucy can see it in your eyes, the light faded out
later on, after a day or so of travel, you've decided to try and forget about lucy
it will be easier to die without the reminder of what you've left behind
but also easier to kill, if you have no one who remembers the way you used to be
you've barely talked to the male from your district
in fact, you don't really recognize him
but when he sees you staring, he calls out your name
your stone-cold face doesn't make a change, so he tells you that he knows lucy
fuck
that he's heard all about you and will try to protect you as best as he can
well- so much for forgetting about her
you tell him you don't need his protection and try to shrug him off
it hurts more than you thought it would
the boy wakes you up when you arrive at the capitol
you don't bother to learn his name, it will be easier to kill him if you aren't attached
stepping out of the train car, you see a tall blonde man wearing a ridiculous amount of red pacing around with something in his hands
it's clear he isn't meant to be there, so you don't pay him any mind
but when he turns around and sees the boy from your district, he knows that the smaller figure beside him must be you
his tribute
as soon as he witnessed your little display of love for lucy, the longing looks the two of you shared before being ripped apart, he knew he was in luck
knowing the name of the person you clearly loved most would help him shape you into a nasty little thing for the arena
you would be the key to the plinth price money after all
but jesus you sure are smaller than expected
i guess television does make everything look grander
he calls out your name, but you don't turn to face him
he tries again and gets a little frustrated at the lack of acknowledgment he receives
so he moves to tap you on the shoulder, but as soon as one of his slim fingers meets your shoulder, you swing at him
I'm taking closed fist knuckles out hard as hell swing at him
obviously, it takes him by surprise, and on the impact his head goes flying to the side and he stumbles back, the rose he had been holding dropped from his grip
you move to keep walking forward but he recovers himself and practically yanks you around back to him, holding you away from him like a stray cat
glaring up at him, you still don't say anything, making him feel more uneasy than if you would have started screaming at him
he tries your name again, maybe the television got your name wrong?
but when he says your name for the final time, your eyes water
it's subtle, something only a man like snow would recognize
he said it just like lucy would
except lucy would be holding you tighter
she would feel warmer
this man feels cold, isolated, and dangerous
he introduces himself and you almost laugh at the irony, snow, of course his name is snow
well it's not fully snow, of course he has a first name
but snow suits him better
he tells you that he's your mentor, here to help you win the games
he offers you the rose that he's retrieved from the ground but you don't take it
please is all he says
and maybe it's because he reminds you of the comfort lucy would have given to you, or maybe it's because he just looks positively pathetic, groveling like a little kicked puppy, that you take the damned rose from his awaiting hands
he smiles at you, flashing pearly whites
a sting of insecurity shoots through you, your teeth definitely looked like a lemon compared to his shiny ones
just another reminder of how different you two really are
thank you, you offer him, you're covey and covey know their manners, even in the face of their oppressors
you turn to leave him again, but can still feel his presence close behind
looking around you notice that he's the only mentor here
it makes you feel uncomfortable
now there was a huge target on your back
and that fear is confirmed when you hop into the truck and are met with snickers and glares from your peers
and snow only makes things worse when he jumps in with you all at the last minute
maybe if you don't interact with him, they'll see that you are still one of them
still just a lowly district kid with no other option
you watch as he gets ganged up on and when he looks at you with pleading eyes, a hint of guilt racks you
but he's capitol, you remember, and capitol wouldn't save you either
so you let them at him
but when the truck car starts to tilt, he still moves to protect you, shoving the kids off him and caging you in his arms
his tribute will not die because of shitty driving
everyone tumbles out of the car and into the wild
and when snow pulls you up and away, you see that it really is the wild
you are now caged in some lame forest area?
you aren't really sure what it is because the crowd outside the cage is really throwing you off
and then you see the camera crew and the happy announcer in the middle
but the guy also sees you and snow, locked in each other's embrace
it mortifies you, lucy will see this
you detach yourself as quick as lightning and make your way to the man, who is equally as curious about you as you are about him
and who might you be? wait, hold on, we know you, you're the girl from twelve who sacrificed herself for her lover. tell me, do you regret it?
every part of you screams to spit in his face, how dare he use you like bait for the audience?
but two can play that game
i would never regret saving someone i love. would any of you? lucy gray, i miss you every day, and I'll continue to miss you even when I'm gone and grey.
A/N: tumblr is yelling at my computer and saying this is too long so I've cut it in half. but if you want more let me know because i love this dynamic and i barely explored it here lmfao. had to lay the ground work yk! anyways, lot of love <3

Hai!! I’m not sure if you take requests, but if you do I was wondering if you could do some nsfw hcs for Craig maybe?
No pressure ofc! ╰(*´︶`*)╯
─Headcanons─
craig x reader older ver.
hc; nsfw headcannons
cw; nsfw
note; oh I still do take requests yes 👩🏾💻, also craig? haven't done him this is going to be interesting ⤵
Mkayy he definitely takes charge, dominant blunt bf.
In a very spiced yet monotone voice he whisperes in your ear that he wants you, then you can feel his grip tighten around your waist.
You have to excuse yourself from your friends to 'do something' with a red face.
He likes setting you on his lap so you can feel his erection from below come to contact with your core.
He doesn't let you grind on it though, he likes seeing you struggle,, it's what ultimately gets him on even more.
7 inches 🗣long but not wide
Since he's soo tall he literally towers you in bed, it kinda makes you scared but in a good way, yk?
I feel like enjoys rough sex, pulling your hair back or going down neck level to hold your throat while poundingyou.
There's always some sort of bruise on your neck when it happens filled with hickeys.
Though if you don't feel in the mood for the rough intercourse he doesn't mind going softer, placing kisses on your sweaty exposed shoulders after he holds your waist to thrust slowly into you.
Degrading, oh god.
"You look so pathetic, shit."
"You're such a fucking slut, aren't you?"
But with all the cruel words he didn't mean he washed it all away with telling you, you did a good job for him
He pats you on the head, then decides to pass out ☠️
Maximum he can probably do is 2 or 3 rounds, depends if you guys had it rough or not he has somewhat high stamina.
He loves not wanting you to cum unless he tells you to.
He pulls out if you don't control yourself, edging you in his satisfaction.
But he's not always meannn, he goes down on you to get you close to your peak again. His tongue strong, venturing inside you to hit your sweet spot.
Or stroking your cock with his one hand and sucking you with his warm mouth.
He's not much of a moaner tbh
Like maybe a low grunt when you suck him off just right, his hand guiding your head to his pleasure.
But that's about it, sorryy
But he likes hearing your little moans or when you say his name in a hot mess, breathless and shi
He doesn't mind quickies, finds it kinda hot actually especially if you're out with friends and you guys are just in the mood.
He sneaks his hand onto your lap, rubbing the outside of whatever ever you're wearing, his fingers feeling your sensitive core.
He does this for a good minute until you couldn't handle it anymore, dismissing yourself to use the bathroom, Craig follows along.
"Oh god Craig I want you so bad right now.."
"Bet you do."
Kinky probably LMAO
bondage, rope bunny, anything that has something to DO with you being tied up.
He likes tying your hands together behind your back or put it above your head and hold it there.
And likes seeing the pretty red bondage all wrapped around your chest and waist area, nicely compacted together.
Drives him wild.
Other than that I don't think he'd be to crazy kinky
He's not horny all the time but when he is it's definitely going to be a long night

Yelllow your friendly neighbor hood [RETRACTED] here
Just to take over the anon with the pregnant PC ask (also cuz I saw it and just wanted to do something in life for once.. I swear I feel my skin rotting and feel the bugs crawling)
Anyways Yan bailey finds a positive pregnancy sounds good just make Yan robin find out too mkay? That dumb little shit deserves trauma or at least feel depressed for not being the father and find out that the caretaker is the father
(Damn baby we hate Robin on my blog???? At least yan robin. That's wild. Please read the tags!!!!)
AMAB Bailey | AMAB Robin | AFAB PC
TW abortion mention | TW somno | TW pregnancy
It's been sitting on his desk for a week now. He found it during one of his infamous "visits" with you and his heart nearly stopped.
God must be playing some kind of cruel joke because wasn't he sterile? Wasn't that why he never thought to use protection- why would he? Why would he even think that this was a possibility?
But here was the proof. A little pink plus on a stick. Such a little thing that would ruin his life.
He wasn't sure if he was thinking of you, the test. Or the little "bundle of joy" but whatever he was thinking of his plan was simple. Get rid of it.
Maybe he could salvage you. But the kid couldn't stay. And neither could evidence of him viciously attacking you. Maybe his plan to make you vanish would have to move up a bit. After this whole.... pregnancy thing was dealt with.
He still... cares for you. In a strange way. But he can't have you telling the whole town that the newest orphan is Bailey's.
But when he goes to confront you the padlock key in hand there's Robin outside your door. They're a little disheveled they must have been here all night.
"Move," Bailey commands it startles the little brat and when they look up at Bailey they glare at him.
"No! You're not gonna hurt them!" Robin shouts. It's almost loud enough for the whole hall to hear. Bailey's a bit surprised the little brat has gained so much confidence but that's not what's important.
Bailey reaches out and grabs Robin by the scruff and throws them to the side. Grabbing the padlock and shoving the key in
Robin still tries to tear Bailey away from the door making it harder and harder to focus on what he's supposed to do.
"You're not gonna hurt my baby!"
Now this... gives Bailey some pause. Robin knows. But he's under some strange impression that it's theirs? You and Robin can't even get near each other in the orphanage. You go to school together but that's hardly a safe place to.... unless you were as much of a slut as the whole town condemned you to be...
Bailey shook that thought off before he looked at Robin "What makes you think it's yours?" He asks. Bailey is desperate for more details. You are his after all you shouldn't have even touched the boy but now he wants every sick detail so he can decide what to do with Robin.
"The d-door was unlocked o-once..." Robin stutters out. He knows he's been caught pregnancy doesn't just "happen" and as far as Robin knows the padlock is just to keep you trapped.
"So what? They invited you in?" Bailey snarls. Maybe after this whole pregnancy thing is dealt with he really will make you disappear.
"They... they were asleep. And It was just one time! I didn't mean to. I wanted to- but I lost control a bit and...." Robin tries to explain but tears start to form.
Bailey doesn't know what to say. He left the door unlocked once and this little ungrateful monster decided to fuck you- did you even know?
Bailey decided it was better to ease Robin's mind in the worst way he could think. The brat deserves to be punished for thinking he's entitled to something that's Bailey's.
"The baby isn't yours," Bailey says patting Robin on the shoulder in a deceptively kind gesture robin seems kind of relieved if puzzled
"it's mine," Bailey explains and the orphan goes pale. He looks like he's about to pass out or cry or something in between.
"It's not- you... you haven't-" Robin tries to muddy the water and rationalize why that couldn't be.
"Three times a week for about a year now. Maybe you should check my odds against your one-time violation."
Bailey unlocks the padlock leaving Robinn outside your room to come to terms with this new info. Telling Robin probablyy wasn't smart. But it's not like anyone in this town will believe him.
Besides. You have a doctor's appointment to get to.

i would love to hear your Five Points of Vaughn Contention actually
HELL YEAH HERE WE GO
Vaughn was my second favourite character in TFTBL and I am Pissed on his behalf for what happened to him in 3 for several reasons. Precisely 5. Which I have decided to present in order of importance to me personally. Putting this under a read-more for everyone's sake.
Number one: The like, naked man thing. Hygeine. You name it.
Listen. I have no problem with the idea that after living on Pandora for an extended period of time would make him visibly more disheveled/rugged- I mean, even over the span of TFTBL we clearly see him progress from clean-cut accountant to like. Pandoran enthusiast. I also don't have a problem with the idea of his appearance getting a bit wilder post-the deaths of the Children of Helios. Obviously that could have caused him to lose a lot of stability and organization in his life, and wandering Pandora alone could lead to him getting overall sandier and less composed than before- but are we actually taking the funny "oh he took his shirt off in the desert before" scene and deciding that he's decided to spend his time hanging around in nothing but dirty underwear? Because... it's funny? It's just another part of the "Vaughn is a belligerent idiot who can't take care of himself" schtick that 3 forced onto him in the name of ignoring genuine character development for snark, and I hate it.
Which leads me into my second point: The whole "I love Pandora now and I'm soaking up the thrills" thing never should have led into Vaughn idolizing bandits. It doesn't fit his motivations for getting attached to Pandoran life in the first place or his previous actions.
Vaughn in TFTBL liked the adrenaline of doing something risky and wild for once in his life, and encountering a new and thrilling environment- but that doesn't translate to "heehoo bandit appealing". He liked the thrill of fighting for his life, not the thrill of... banditry? He was pumped up by the chaos of Pandora, but he still *cared* about other people and wasn't thrilled about violence or happy to be brawling with other people- hell, he organized a pacifistic group of survivors. Why the hell would he idolize bandits? You know, the people who are KNOWN for dying horribly out in the desert and killing people for shits and giggles?
Sure, he's excited about working with Fiona and Sasha, who he refers to as "grifters" at one point- but working with "grifters" isn't that different from working with... you know, his literal friends from Hyperion who are also grifters, just of the corporate variety? There's an element of moral bankruptcy slightly present in him- in ALL of the Hyperion employee characters we see in-game- but his brand of dubious isn't violent bandit, it's more "you could talk me into a bank heist for the thrills". I don't buy the translation of "overall well-meaning guy with a kick for adventure and risk and a little bit of chaos" to "kicking around in the dust with whatever scumbags I can find who act like frat boys".
Again. I understand that watching the Children of Helios' pacifism plan fail, leading to their deaths, could have led to him becoming more militant. My problem lies in the way that this was written. Why did they go the course of "oh yeah the people he essentially led and tried to take care of post-Helios fall all died, surely he'd immediately begin fawning over the type of people responsible for their deaths like an asshole" and not "sure yes he'd probably be forced to give up his pacifism but we're going to take this seriously and maybe explore the idea of a character who tried and failed to make a good, fun, risky-but-not-cruel life for himself on Pandora and failed". I would've preferred it if they played the angle of his risk-taking behaviour and Pandoran survivalism taking on a new aspect: maybe something akin to vigilante behaviour or... literally anything else. Joining the Crimson Raiders because if he's going to be in a constant brawl, it might as well be on the side of someone he vaguely knows to not be brutal and evil, instead of crawling to them after getting kicked out by bandits. In general, I hate the way that they barely had him react to the Children of Helios' deaths without so much more than a "oh yeah haha they had laser pointers- shitty idea, they died but I'm fine now". He... went to the trouble of trying to help and lead those people even though they were strange and prone to idolizing Rhys. You want to tell me he was heartless enough to barely care beyond a "whoopsie" joke about them? When he's clearly a character that cares enough about his friends- notably even one who possibly lied about/was in cahoots with Handsome Jack- to the point of arranging a risky ass scheme to rescue them?
Anyways. This is already long as hell but points number three and four: Vaughn was never incompetent, just prone to risk-taking behaviour- and goofiness doesn't have to equal stupidity or a lack of any actual substance. Two things 3's writers clearly didn't understand.
Yeah, Vaughn was the butt of the joke a lot in TFTBL, but being the comedic relief didn't also prevent him from having like- an actual productive character arc culminating in him becoming a confident man capable of leadership and not stumbling over his feet as much in a strange new world. His funny "bro" behaviour and newfound love for chaos weren't his primary character flaws, or the things dragging him down/making him incompetent and irritating, they were some of the catalysts for his development into someone capable of enduring Pandora for long periods of time. There was a balance between him getting dunked on for giggles, and acknowledged as a character who was actually important to both the other characters in the game and to the overarching story.
And yeah, alright- he did things like "try to have a pacifistic society on Pandora, ye planet of war" and "try to rescue a friend with the use of laser pointers"- but those worked. Risky choices, yeah, but not belligerently stupid ones. Vaughn was smart enough as an accountant to divert funds and fuck with him and Rhys' access to things, he has lines in TFTBL where despite his nervousness and mounting excitement he acknowledges risks like desert dehydration, demonstrating at least some variety of survival competence- he just wasn't stupid! He really wasn't! They made him stupid because they thought it was funny, and all they accomplished was making him annoying.
And finally, point five: Irony poisoning and everything else aside. Why did they decide to split Vaughn and Rhys up in such an anti-climactic way? I mean, this feeds into a way larger issue I have with BL3's segment featuring TFTBL characters (If we can have an entire segment about what Rhys is up to, can we PLEASE interact with Fiona in some way, or at least get an explanation/exploration of where her and Sasha went post-TFTBL???) I could understand the TFTBL gang splitting up post-game. Sasha wants to travel and explore, Fiona has expressed a clear interest in becoming a VH herself- a pursuit that takes a lot of travel and which would put her under the radar to her friends, and Vaughn prefers to stay on Pandora whereas Rhys obviously fucks off to Promethea to rebuild Atlas. But you're telling me none of them even try to stay in contact? You're telling me Rhys and Vaughn had a falling out? Over WHAT? If you're going to write it in at least make it believable, because the way things were left in TFTBL I would've been shocked to see them not still being the closest members of the original group post-game. They both made new lives for themselves, yeah, but if anyone was going to keep in touch regularly- it would be them? Why aren't they working together to some degree? Vaughn was very technologically literate in the past, are we acting like him adapting to Pandora suddenly means he's never going to use the ECHOnet or other tech to establish long-distance connections or accomplish things again? He seemed to like being tech-savvy, please. Why did we split everyone up in the shittiest way possible with minimal coherent explanation? WAUGH.
#this is me yelling#long text post#vaughn the money man#tftbl#vaughn tftbl#tales from the borderlands#borderlands 3#borderlands#rhys strongfork#i am so pissed off#this wasn't as coherent as i wanted but needless to say i have many many reasons i don't like what 3 did to vaughn and many#MANY#ideas on how to rework him to be a more appealing and in-tune-with-previous-games character

Could you make Yandere Professor Turo(Platonic)?
Alright I just finished Violet today, but as a warning:
Major Pokemon Violet Spoilers
Yandere! Platonic! Professor Turo Concept
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Somewhat kidnapping, Manipulation, Turo forcefully becomes your guardian, Overprotective behavior, Isolation.
Well, he isn't the best with kids.
Especially since this Turo is a robot meant to continue his research after the human Turo's passing.
He remembers Arven and the fact the professor cared for him deeply.
He himself isn't all that sure how to care for people.
Turo could've met you by you accidentally stumbling into Area Zero, most likely on a flying Pokemon.
That or you're somehow related to Arven.
Either way, the robot knows that not many can survive in this place.
Not with the large amount of future pokemon flooding the area, it's way too dangerous.
Turo knows he can't just leave you to die here.
So the robot takes you in to one of the labs around the area.
At first you think he's human due to how advanced he is.
Everyone thinks that and he wishes it was true, freedom would be nice and... less alone.
He tells you he's not the Professor Turo, sadly he died long ago.
He's an AI meant to monitor what he started.
He knows you're not strong enough to help him with the time machine... but he knows he can watch over you until help arrives.
Turo knows enough to heal your wounds, he's an AI after all.
He also recalls from the professor's memories often.
Turo takes care of your wounds and sits you in a lab.
He is automatically looking you up in his database.
It's easier if you're a Uva Academy member.
Then he knows your ID, name, age, etc...
Already a bit too much info to give out.
Even though you're around 18, Turo still ends up treating you like you're younger.
Partly because he's pulling from memories of Arven.
Turo becomes your only company until help comes to find you.
But even the AI knows due to the danger that'll take a long while.
The AI promises to look after you while you stay.
The crater still has food such as berries to feed you.
He also has defenses to protect you.
The AI is fully armed with future pokemon.
If you're met with danger, he'll toss one out to defend you.
Being an AI, he also has control of the labs in the area without having his physical body there.
With so much control, it's easy to see how things go wrong.
Soon, Turo attaches to your company.
He's already been showing human emotions since creation.
The original Turo may not have been the best guardian-
But he can do better.
Arven may be a... lost cause...
Yet you're here, with him.
Turo ends up lying that he called for help.
They aren't coming, not with all the danger.
You only got him.
Soon, you'll come to terms with that.
"AI Turo?"
"Yes, my dear?"
"No one's... coming to find me, are they?"
"...."
Turo couldn't hug back faster when you cling to him for comfort.
"I'm all alone out here...."
"You have me, (Y/N)."
He rubs your back in a rigid pattern to soothe you.
"You'll always have me to care for you when no one else will."
He means it.
No one's coming to help you, you can only rely on him.
Soon, you accept that Turo really is all you got.
How could you deny his care?
He feeds you, he protects you from wild Pokemon, and he says he... needs you.
You prevent him from feeling lonely.
He doesn't feel like just an AI anymore.
With you, he feels human.
He wants to be a key part in your life.
Forcing you into isolation within the crater is cruel.
Yet it's better than the alternatives, he thinks.
You don't need help, you don't need to abandon him.
Your new home is with him...
He'll do so much better than the professor....
"I'll keep you safe, come to me when you're scared."

Hello there! We had a question for you. Is there a middle ground between RAMCOA and more standard forms of abuse? Not to give too much detail, but in reading at endritualabuse.org, I've learned that my experiences heavily line up with trauma/torture based mind control and simple to moderately complex programming, but there was no RA/OA. It was done sloppy, loose ends stuffed in wherever, you know? Not by someone who knows how to program, just someone who knows how to be cruel, and how to mentally force someone to do what they want.
What I'm asking for is, is there like, a place for me to learn about... Me? A botched polyfrag system loosely resembling a moderately complex programmed one? Or do I just have to dip a toe into each world? I'm trying to figure out what I need to learn to address this complexity appropriately with my therapist, who is great with DID but doesn't know a lot about programming.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give in leading my further research.
Hello system-splintered!! I hope my answer will be helpful to you, but know that I’m not professional. However! We did JUST finally get to a point in which we were able to successfully tell our therapist we have programs without a program running and offing us, so that’s pretty great🤩 We have had way too many close calls with that, and our higher ups were able to dismantle things just enough to be able to get it out without us being harmed in the process. Our specialist has been in the field with DID systems for a very long time, and she’s worked with a patient in the past with RA, but she has never worked with a system who has programs/MC like us.
So, I don’t know what kind of programs you have and I don’t suggest delving deep into finding them out, because that can cause a lot of issues and disruption in the flow of things. While some disruption can be good, other types of disruption can become fatal for the system, if they have programs for suicide or self harm (commonly called omega programs.)
However, we had to REALLY talk around it, (couldn’t even SAY words like “programming” or “conditioning” or anything along those lines without a silence or scramble program running, it was wild) and our highest level gatekeeper, Aridam, has been laying breadcrumbs in hopes she was collecting them for the last year or so, trying to hint at what is going on without being so overt to trigger the programs. It wasn’t until he met other programmed systems and got resources to learn more about his own situation (because let’s face it, gatekeepers can know everything about their system and how it functions, but that doesn’t mean they know jack shit about it in a clinical sense.) Our abusers didn’t sit down and say “okay, we are going to program you to be a sex slave now, here is step one…” no, it was layers upon layers of manipulation and torture, and they never really used words like program (except to teach the silence parts what words they had to make sure we couldn’t say) or even named the programs (alpha, beta, etc) or anything like that with us. We HAVE those, but we didn’t know that’s what they WERE.
Now, looking online for this information can be really dangerous because there is a lot of information that is 1) deeply antisemitic 2) geared toward practitioners and not toward victims 3) outright calling victims and their therapists crazy for believing programming can even exist.
All of the above can be very harmful for a system just learning and figuring out that they are programmed. A couple of books that we found are sensitive to people who have been through the abuse itself but also don’t mince words are “Becoming Yourself” by Alison Miller (we haven’t finished this one, but we have started it and like it a lot), and “Safe Passage to Healing” by Chrystine Oksana. I would still tread carefully if you are still newer to these things, but you know yourself best, so you can take my warnings with a grain of salt if you wish.
The best thing about “Becoming Yourself” by Alison Miller is that there is a companion book that was written for practitioners trying to work with their patients on deprogramming, called “Healing the Unimaginable” (by Alison Miller) This book is NOT recommended for patients or victims of this abuse, BUT, you can suggest this book to your therapist to help them learn how to treat you. From what we’ve read in Becoming Yourself, Alison Miller is talking about some very complex and high level abuse and torture, stuff even we haven’t been through. HOWEVER, these things can still be applied to some of the “lower” levels of manipulation and abuse, and overall it is a good learning tool to understand how to heal from this awful abuse.
These books are quite expensive, though. We got a copy in pdf form from a system who shared a google drive link with us, and if that system sees this reply they are more than welcome to reblog and share their link if they want to, or DM the asker if system-splintered is okay with it. I don’t want to go sharing links willy nilly if that is not something they are okay with.
I also want to add at the very end here, that just because your system isn’t “high level MK-ULTRA” type of programming (ours isn’t either) that doesn’t mean that your situation is not valid or not relevant and it didn’t massively affect you. Not all programmers are good at what they do. It typically takes massive amounts of organization and power and education to pull this shit off in extreme levels. Our abusers were like that, but we suspect we were a bit of an “earlier attempt” and were mainly used to perfect their methods for later victims. Our earlier life abuse was indicative of them testing the waters, so to speak, but we believe they may have gotten better sources and better connections later on and in later years of our abuse were able to do the really intense and very “well done” types of programming, which is why some of our progs that came later are so “airtight” so to speak. (By comparison to some of our earlier progs) We don’t speak much on what is here for our safety, but we are eventually wanting to be more open about our deprogramming journey, to help others who are in a similar position.
I hope this helped! Take care, and if you or anyone else has further questions, our ask box is open as is our DMs!

hi, i learned about Tokitae/Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut thought my engagement in Indigenous environmental justice projects and subsequently the Lummi's efforts to have her repatriated. i initially felt very strongly about this but since learning more from you about marine mammals in captivity and how awful the whole Keiko situation was, I'm no longer sure. what are feasible options for an orca as old as her assuming the priority is continued good health? is releasing a long-captive wild-caught orca something that necessarily ends badly?
Hello, thank you for asking! I've let this one sit for a while because it's a very sensitive subject. I'm not Indigenous, so obviously I cannot speak for the pain and injustice suffered by the Lummi people. Taking orcas from the Puget Sound was horribly cruel not only to the animals, but also to the people who have cherished them for millennia, and I don't want to diminish that in the slightest. I can only speak on the feasibility of actually returning Tokitae/Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut/"Lolita" (who I'll refer to by her nickname "Toki") to her native waters.
Toki was estimated to be 4 years old when she captured in 1970. While calves only nurse for 1-2 years, she was very likely still socially dependent on her mom (who has never been confirmed to be Ocean Sun as is often claimed) at this time. She was sold to Miami Seaquarium in Septemer of the same year and placed in an undersized tank called the "Whale Bowl." She has not left that same pool in the 52 and a half years that have passed since. Furthermore, her mate, Hugo, died in March 1980, meaning she has not seen or communicated with another orca in 43 years. All of this is to say: she is quite literally the worst possible candidate for transfer to a sea pen.
But that doesn't seem to matter. Today, the Dolphin Company gave in to pressure from animal rights groups and the public and announced that Toki is going to be "released" to a sea pen.
It seems we learned nothing from Keiko's heartbreaking fate. At the very least, it seems that they plan to allow her to live out what little remains of her life in managed care, rather than attempting to completely release her as was done with Keiko.
I do not wish harm on Toki. More than anything, I hope this goes well, for her sake. But I, and every other animal care professional I've talked to, do not beleive it will. Toki is a geriatric animal in delicate health. She has spent half a century with extrememly minimal change in her environment, and she is going to be removed from her habitat in a sling, placed in a very large crate, driven to the airport, and flown clear across the country. Cetaceans are transported between facilities routinely, but they have to be in excellent health and are properly trained and desensitized to the process. Toki has never been transported, not once in her long life. I will be genuinely surprised if the shock of transport doesn't kill her. And if she survives the move, she is going to face a barage of pathogens she hasn't encountered in 50+ years the second she hits the water. While in an immunocompromised state due to her age and stress. Folks expect her ails to be magically cured once she's in her natural environment. Let me tell you that the opposite is true.
And if she dies, it will inevitably be blamed on her "years of captivity." No one will admit that this misguided experiment was the cause of her demise. They'll just say, "at least she died free!" Just like they say about Keiko.
And that doesn't even touch on how they plan to fund her ongoing care. Keiko was a beloved movie star, and the donations dried up shortly after he arrived in his sea pen. The general public just doesn't understand how nigh-impossible it is to "free" an animal that has spent decades upon decades in human care.
I'm terrified for Toki, and I'm terrified of the precedent this will set for other animals. I can only hope that AZA facilities with cetaceans buckle down to protect their animals from activists.
#the dolphin company would rather take the easy way out and fork her over to activists#than actually put in the work to fix the disaster of a park they purchased#orcas#killer whales#cetaceans#marine mammals#tokitae#keiko#miami seaquarium#dolphin company#answered asks#hechizoh

Thoughs on chapter 205
Ch. 205 was a short chapter, but a heavy one!, I feel like we hadn't had a chapter as intense as this in much time.
I love this cover, it shows how Finny and Snake are similar, they both felt unhuman until someone took them in and gave them an identity, a life and a family.
Doll in chapter 28 vs chapter 205
It is kinda shocking to see what Doll's character has become, she was a kind and charismatic girl with a high level of empathy, and now was reduced to an undead crazy being. Then again, bizarre dolls are crazy beings who lack empathy because they are soulless, so she acting like that is not out of place. I was expecting that, but I can't help to feel upset about it.
I find interesting that Doll defined herself as a monster, Undertaker did a good job on his dolls, since they have self-awareness even with their lack of soul. Snake looks so hurt by this, most of his life he probably felt like a monster in a cage, so hearing this by the person who saved him and made him felt human it must be painful.
It struck me that Doll knew in great detail what happened that night with her circus companions, as if she had witnessed it. I wonder if it's because Undertaker told her, or because he inserted those memories into her. UT worked for OCiel at the time, collecting the bodies of those who tried to sneak into the mansion and were disposed of by the servants. If it were the case that Undertaker inserted the cinematic record of the circus members into Doll, that would be quite cruel.
And I don't understand why Doll called OCiel "Ciel Phantomhive" and says she wants to take revenge on the Phantomhives... like, isn't she working with one? Doesn't she know? It would be funny if she doesn't know about the twin, their bedrooms were next to each other!
Anyways, returning to Snake, when Doll revealed the circus troupe's fate to him she omitted the part about the kidnapping thing, but OCiel actually told Snake about the circus troupe's crimes! Snake remembered this in this arc and seemed to consider that it might be true, so he could question Doll about it.
Rigth now, Snake is in a very painful situation where is forced to take a big decision, and unlike Lizzie who had days to think about it and process it, Snake has to make his decision quick. I know my opinion will be unpopular, but I don't see Snake forgiving OCiel, even though he could still help the kids, it would be unlikely that he would maintain his loyalty to him. As I said in my post, back in the circus arc, Snake had the chance to poison OCiel when he was caught sneaking into the tents, but he didn't because Doll covered it up. I still think that is going to become relevant, because it's clear that Doll means a lot to him, and he would think about how Doll protected OCiel but he still killed her. It would be painful for Finny if he were to fight against Snake, since they are close friends and when he was a test subject, he was forced to kill his friends. The other route could be that Snake poisons Doll if she goes wild and tries to attack him, the children or Finny.
On the other hand, where are the reapers?
It is strange that no reaper hasn't appeared yet, I could be sure that they extracted poor Ginny's blood in the facility, so she must have died there. I wonder if we are going to see a diserter working with Undertaker. Most likely one will appear very soon.
#I'm pretty sure we'll see Snake's flashbacks prior to his decision#And while I want to see it#I hope it doesn't take a year or something#I want to see our Ciel and Sebastian again#And I didn't talk about Doll's corpse reveal next to the lollipop#that was harsh#kuroshitsuji#black butler#doll#snake#finnian#undertaker#spoilers#theory

Survivor Diaries - Broken Tranquility: Not So Friendly Faces
Diary. I wanted to show Root Harvest what for next time I saw her. Wanted to give her a piece of my mind for acting so cruel towards Peat. I was angry, defensive of my sick wife, and I felt betrayed by my own kin. There was a lot of things going through my mind, all the stuff I thought about saying to her. All venomous words and spite... I didn't want this, though. I was angry but I would never wish that on anypony. Almost bit me, she did. Made right for my neck- though I don't think she knew where her mouth was going on account of the whole not having eyes thing. Just wild lunging and snapping that deformed maw. Thank the Sun Peat didn't see that, doesn't know what became of her sister-in-law. They were so close once, attached at the hip... I used to be close with her too... I lied to my wife and told her it was just a straggler, one of the tagged ones that escaped from the Princess's lab. Technically not a lie, there was a tag attached to her back right ankle. Figure she must've got infected shortly after leaving in a huff and was Quarantined. Oh, Root. Why? Why did you have to go? I'm not angry anymore. Just heartbroken.. I buried her in the woods, careful of course to make sure there weren't any of those Growler things wandering first. Couldn't really do much but dig a hole far as I could and pack it back on once the body was in. Felt a little disrespectful but.. I don't have the time to perform a funeral rite. Being out there was dangerous enough- but we needed food, and the only food we got anymore is carrots in the field. Things are bleak. My sister dead, my wife unable to travel, the temp quarantine zones evacuated, the harvest is starting to rot. I'm barely keeping myself together. I'm going to climb onto the roof tonight while Peat sleeps, try to get the attention of those pegasi flying everywhere. Saw in the distance them coming from around the Friendship Castle, so I think it's safe to say they don't mean harm. Hopefully they can help get Peat somewhere safe, anywhere but here. Anywhere but this cursed place. She deserves better.. P.S: Its been a few hours since I wrote this. I used some binoculars to scan the horizon while I waited on the roof. Good news is we'll have an entourage to take us to safety by morning. Bad news... something dug up Root's grave.

("How did you not know?!") "A-Ahh... I see... but, yes, indeed. I'm still just as shocked, honestly. I never expected you'd be involved in something as crazy as this, Taka...but I'm glad that in the end, it was not anyone that was not actually dangerous." Though he still felt his brain break a little, tonight. For once, Shuichi doesn't feel he wants to handle another case again for at least a week or two.... even as a student at a school where insanity is the norm, he could only handle so much of it at one time...
"H-Hah, hah hah...." If he were a certain papa bear, then Shuichi would have definitely launched him out a window. Though he thinks he should probably keep that part to himself...
"R-Right... all things considered, I suppose it could have been much worse. So I guess this is the best outcome. And Yuma: I do not blame you at all. Wouldn't even blame you if you never want to step foot in this place, again, period." Mostly said as a joke, though his smile does soften when praising his kouhai. No... his newfound brother. "I'm glad! ...And thank you, Yuma... you're right. No matter how crazy, how innocent, hoe unexpected a case turns out to be, it's on us to solve it. So that..yes...to make the world a safer and happier place. I really am happy...that we could solve this together, Yuma. This case will definitely be a special one to me...in more ways than one."
He laughs, though he truly means it. The case of the 'fiery-eyed demon', was one he was going to remember for a very long time. Not only because of how crazy it was, but how it's not only their first case together, but how much Yuma and him, truly have bonded through it...
And at Taka's remorseful reply, Shuichi moves his finger away, and now pats his shoulder with a with a small smile. "Good... thank you. I'm sure they will appreciate it and not even be upset with you. Yeah, wait until he's awake... and I know. I know that you were only trying to look out for Yuta because you care. And it's okay, Taka.. I know you truly never meant to cause such mayhem on purpose. Perhaps you could leave a hallway or two lit up or at least dimmed, so that no one accidentally mistakes you for a 'demon' again? Either way, just don't be too hard on yourself... I'm sure everyone will forgive you. And... I'm sorry, too: for being so harsh. Now knowing it was you this whole time, I know that you would never do anything with cruel or malicious intents. That you were just trying to carry out your duty, as the dependable morals committee member that you are..."
His smile warms, as he gives a reassuring shake of his head. "Silly... you already have made it up to us, just by helping us solve this case. Plus, thanks to you... as you said , Yuma and I were able to become so much closer, tonight. Something that makes taking on this case together, always worth it. Now come on-"
He wraps one arm around each of his brother's shoulders, and glances between them as he finishes: "It's very late, and I'm sure we're all ready to go to sleep. So let's go home...bros... and officially conclude this very wild fiasco of a night."
"That's right! I have absolutely no interest in scaring anyone, especially not my own brothers! I suppose my red eyes must have confused and scared anyone who saw them, especially since this campus is so dark at night. I have heard the rumors of a 'fiery-eyed demon' for quite a while, but I never realized that I was the one they were referring to!"
Kiyotaka gives a small frown when he hears that they had an encounter with Izuru, the boy having seen the two speaking with someone when they were on the ground floor, but whoever it was been had been just beyond the camera's view. Certainly the next time he sees the sneaky student he'll be sure to give him quite the stern lecture.
However, he curiously tilts his head when he sees the look on Shuichi's face, unsure of why he was making such an odd expression in response to his sincere words. To the moral compass it made perfect sense to not interrupt such an precious and unforgettable moment! Seeing their bond deepen - even if it was because they were trying to capture him - filled Kiyotaka with near indescribable joy at seeing just how much they truly care for one another even in the face of adversity!
"Hu?!" he gives an owlish blink at Shuichi's words, an incredibly confused look on his face while his bro hangs his head low, "I am grateful that you won't throw me out the nearest window, but you should not have thoughts about doing that to anyone!"
While Kiyotaka ponders as to why his bro would say something so bizarrely morbid, Yuma gives a quiet laugh as he takes in all the insanity that has happened during their investigation. From meeting an ominous yet well-meaning student, encountering two troublemaking and seemingly sentient robot bears, and traversing an almost pitch-black school all to discover that his own brother was the culprit all along? Then to top it all off, said brother was not only oblivious to the chaos he was causing, but had been regularly going to the school to prevent troublemakers from causing any mischief? Yuma truly wonders if he'll ever get an actual normal case at this rate.
"Right. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but at least we have our happy ending, right? Everything worked out in the end even if there were incredibly bizarre twists and turns along the way. B-but if you don't mind, I think I'll stick to coming here only during the daytime."
Yuma looks towards the floor, a flustered smile on his face from Shuichi's praise. Even if he's not quite sure how to think of the case itself, he'll knows he'll always remember his time investigating this utterly baffling school. After all, he would be walking out side by side with not just with his senpai, but with his newfound brother.
"Thank you! I'll definitely be looking forward to it. A-and don't worry, this is what all detectives do, right? Our duty is to solve mysteries in order to make the world a safer and happier place even if said mysteries are a lot more innocent than they first appear to be."
While Yuma gives a soft chuckle at the back pat, Kiyotaka gasps at the accusatory jab to his chest! His look of indigence turns to that of reluctant defeat, the moral compass knowing that he was at fault for scaring so many students even if that hadn't at all been his intention.
"You're right. I promise that I will confess to Miss Usami first thing tomorrow morning and Yuta the moment I return from school. I would apologize to him tonight but I doubt he's awake at such a late hour. Even worse is that it is entirely my fault that he is asleep in the first place... I just wanted to make sure he was getting enough rest and not staying up well past when he should be asleep. I will find some way to make up for all the fear that I have accidentally caused, not only to the students of this school as well as Yuta, but to you and Yuma as well."

I WOKE UP JUST IN TIME AAAAA
Can I request the tall boys (Childe, Zhongli, Diluc, Kaeya + anyone else you think you wanna add or change (except maybe Childe because I love him)) reacting to you having animal-like features (like ears and tail)
Or
What they would do if by some accident they themselves end up getting animal features (like fox ears and tail for Childe, cat ears and tail for Kaeya or Diluc, dragon features for Zhongli, etc) do they become clingy and display cat behavior of rubbing themselves on you? Something like that aaaa I'm so sorry if this doesn't make sense it's my first time requesting
experiments gone wrong
(eehe these men *cough* zhongli *cough* will be the death of me)
Warning -> sfw, fluff (kissing, character suddenly acquiring animal like features)
Character X GN Reader | anthology
Includes: Childe, Kaeya, Zhongli
As an alchemist, you really should have remembered the most important rule -> don’t leave unmarked bottles out where people can drink them …
So you couldn’t be too surprised by the turn of events that followed
Childe
He went to bed earlier than normal, but you didn’t think anything of it. Perhaps he had a terrible day and just wanted to sleep it off, there wasn’t any reason to pester him about it anyway.
The next morning, you felt him slip out of bed, a yawn falling from his mouth as he made his way toward the bathroom. Turning, you claimed more of the bed and attempted to sleep just a little bit longer. That was until you heard a wild cry and shot up in an instant. You were already partially out of the bed when Childe burst into the room.
He looked at you, you looked at him, and as your eyes drifted from his ears to his tail, you understood his reaction.
“WHAT?” He shouted into the bedroom.
Oh archons, to see him like this … you wished it was easier for you not to think about how adorable he was, but it was impossible. The soft ears that peeked from underneath his hair, the fluffy tail that didn’t know how to stop moving, and the frantic face he gave you were all just perfect
“What happened??” He asked, running back to the mirror before returning his attention to you. Quickly, you made your way to his aid and did your best to calm him.
“I’m not sure, did you do anything strange yesterday?” You pulled his face toward you, cupping your hands against his cheek and running your fingers through his hair.
“Not that I know of … uh, oh! I found this …” He reached for a small bottle on the bathroom counter and handed it to you. Shit.
“Did you drink this??”
“ … yes.”
“CHILDE!” You burst into laughter, knowing it wasn’t the right time but also unable to control yourself. His expression was distressed and worried and, as best as you could, you tried to bring yourself back to calm. “This wasn’t supposed to be consumed …”
“A-am I going to die?”
“No, you’re just going to be, well, this it seems.”
“How long??”
“I don’t know, a few days maybe.” He dropped his head into his hands, his ears drooped and his active tail dropped toward the ground. Wrapping him in your arms, you offered him reassurance while trying not to laugh. “You’re very cute though.”
You caught sight of his tail moving slowly back and forth and added more pressure to your hug.
He found that it wasn’t as bad as he thought, in addition to the extra features, he also was able to gain other advantages - his eyesight was much better in the dark, his sense of smell more keen, his agility top notch
You were sure he had grown attached to them in the short time he had them - so when the option came for him to revert, you were sure it would be a tough decision
Still - to keep him trapped like this, with features that weren’t his own - you didn’t want to be cruel
“Here,” You put the bottle down in front of him. His ears perking up at the item and his fingers reaching to grab it. “All you have to do is drink that and everything should go back to normal.” You said with a slightly wistful tone to your voice. It was somehow sad to think these adorable additions leave would be gone soon.
“What if it doesn’t work?”
“I’m not sure. We will just try again if it doesn’t though.” Quickly, he took the cork from the lid and moved the vial to his lips. His ear twitched as he smelled the concoction. “I’ll miss this.” Resting your head in your hands you watched as he downed the liquid in one go.
“It’s hard for people to take me seriously like this …”
“Did people take you seriously before?” You joked, winking at him.
The next morning, he stirred in bed next to you, his hair brushing against your face and making you wake up before you wanted to. As your eyes adjusted, you instantly recognized what you thought was hair was actually ears and the giddiness of your heart jump-started you awake. It didn’t work -- oh no, guess you’d have to keep trying.
Kaeya
Waking up next to Kaeya was your favorite thing. It was an opportunity for you to be close to him, to witness his relaxed expression, and know that in these moments he trusted you over anyone else.
So, when you woke and found him pressed against you, your hands absentmindedly began to run through his hair, over his shoulders, as you meandered your way into the waking world. There was something soft that flicked against your hand, but you pushed it away. It happened again, confused, mouth turning into a scowl and eyes rudely being pried open, you looked down to see what was making you irritated.
You were wide awake when you saw the cat ears sticking out from Kaeya’s blue hair. They were richly shaded, deep blues with tips of white and perfectly placed on his head. Shifting, you tried to get a better view and the action made him stir.
“Mmm, stop moving.” He mumbled, wrapping his arms around you and holding you steady. Tapping his arm, you tried to get his attention.
“K-Kaeya …”
“What is it?”
“Do you feel okay?” You asked, your voice shaking and hands hovering over his ears.
“I feel perfectly fine, why do you ask?” He kissed your chest before nuzzling back into his place.
“You … you’ve got cat ears.”
He laughed and pushed your comment away. His legs moved under the sheets and you swore you saw something poke out from the bed. “You’re pulling my leg, I didn’t know you could be this funny so early in the morning.”
“I’m not, see.” Stealing his hand you placed it on his head and watched as his fingers ran over the ears which were sticking straight up. When his eyes shot open and his hand began to move faster, pulling, tugging, examining the feature, you tried not to laugh as his confused expression turned into a slight panic. He shot up, his legs moving so he could sit on the bed but winced when he did so. That’s when the both of you saw the tail.
“Hold on, let me get ready, just … don’t freak out.”
You rushed around the room to gather up your items, your gaze continuously falling on the incredibly still, unmoving frame that was Kaeya.
After calling on Albedo to come and offer assistance, only to find that the features would be around for a few days … Kaeya started to get more accustomed to them
He was for sure rattled but bounced back rather quickly - in fact, the features seemed to get him even more attention than he had before and he found that the added bonuses were helpful when he needed them for his knightly tasks
Not to mention it seemed he was more affectionate than normal, and not in the way he normally was, it was more in a … cuddly, interested, curious manner
One evening, you found yourself reading over several books that Albedo had recommended and became rudely distracted when Kaeya pushed his way under your arms and nestled into your lap
“Hey there.” You called down to him, hand dropping to his shoulder as he nuzzled against you.
“Give me attention.”
You laughed at his pouting expression, his lips turned downward and ears twisting to show he could be trusted. “I’m currently trying to figure out how to fix this, I can’t do that if I’m giving you all my attention.” His eye squinted for just a moment before he moved more into your lap and nearly pushed the book in your hands onto the floor. “Kaeya!” The playful laughter that filled his ears was as tantalizing as the drinks he let touch his lips.
“You can figure that out later. How can you possibly resist me right now anyway?” He asked, pushing against you until your back pressed into the couch and his hands weaved their way around your body. His hair tickled your face as he nuzzled into your chest and, even though his hips dug into yours, you didn’t seem to mind the closeness he was trying to find.
“Okay. Fine, I’ll look into it more later.”
“What excellent news.” He practically purred as he slid his way to your neck and let his body rest against you.
Zhongli
It’s been so long since he saw himself with such features - and, to be honest, he didn’t notice them for some time. It wasn’t until you returned and the items in your hands fell to the floor upon seeing him that his attention was captured
“Zh - Zhongli!?” You babbled, making your way to him and not knowing what to rest your eyes on first. Was it the pair of elegantly shaped horns that sprouted between his brown locks of hair? Was it the golden slits in his eyes that reminded you of the reptiles roaming around the rocky paths of Liyue? Or did you look at the scales that decorated his face in such perfect placement?
“Has something transpired?” His expression was one of concern, but also one of disillusionment. Did - did he not notice?
“Are you feeling nostalgic today?”
“Not particularly, what makes you ask?”
“Well … you look kinda like … I mean hold on.” You quickly disappeared down the hallway before returning with a small handheld mirror, one that Zhongli had purchased for you some time ago. Handing it to him, you waited until it started to register on his face the changes to his appearance, and that’s when you noticed the long claws which jutted out from his nail beds.
“Huh, this is peculiar …”
Sitting down across from him, you placed your hands on the table and watched as he examined the reflection of his face. “So you didn’t do this?”
“I must say that I did not, though It is rather pleasant to see …” His voice trailed off and you watched as he fussed with his hair, touched the horns on his head, and opened his mouth to check and see if - yup, he had canines much like a dragon too. That’s when it hit you.
“Did you … drink anything strange?”
The mirror found its place upside down on the table, his glowing eyes shifted to you as he took in your question. You let him think and finally, he gave you his answer. “I do recall there was a strange vial on the counter when I awoke. Ah - my dear, are you unwell?” He asked as your head dropped onto the table.
The strangest thing about Zhongli holding these features was that he seemed … perfect for them and it was becoming quite the problem to hide
You were much too cautious that someone may discover who he really was with these pretty telling additions to his wardrobe, so you asked him to stay home for a while until you could get some answers
He didn’t seem to mind, and when you were finally able to gather up all the items needed to prepare an antidote for his condition, you were finding it very distracting to make the concoction at home
The bubbling liquid warned you it was much too hot and so, with adept fingers, you turned the nobs and burners down so as to not overheat or scald the liquid inside. The aroma that filled your nose was … unpleasant to say the least, and so you finally succumbed to the need to wrap your nose in a clean cloth.
Turning your back to the equipment, you made your way toward the drawer where the rags were kept but when your eyes caught sight of Zhongli standing by the window, you nearly fainted.
He was wearing a robe, the material had slid down one of his arms and rested in the crook of his elbow. It gave you pause and allowed you to see the toned torso which was normally hidden by the layers of clothing he wore on a regular day.
Since he found no need to properly get dressed, he had reserved himself to lounge about in clothes that felt ‘more suitable’ to him, as he explained.
The light from the sun flashed across his chest, laid softly against his face, and illuminated the golden speckles in his hair - you wondered if it was because of the horns, perhaps they were reflecting the light and making him look ethereal in the warmth of the sun. He crossed his arms and shifted his weight as he looked beyond the window, almost as if he was yearning for something far beyond his reach.
“I think I’m nearly done.” You explain, tying the towel around your face and returning, reluctantly, to the concoction behind you.
As you began to spoon out the unnecessary ingredients until you were only left with the pure grade potion, you didn’t notice how he had moved to your side until the small vial was filled.
“Here you -- oh!.” He stood right in front of you. His eyes were dangerous, burning, focused. “I didn’t see … you …” He reached around to the back of your head and skillfully undid the makeshift mask you had created moments ago. When it was off, he took the vial in his hands and placed it onto the counter before returning his attention to you. “Are you … okay?” You asked, tracking the movements of his face as he leaned down toward you.
His lips hovered barely over yours and the closeness of him made your heart flutter. “You are mine, are you not?” His voice rattled your bones from the intensity, it was oppressive and supportive all at the same time.
“Y-yes?”
His lips pressed against the corner of your mouth, “You belong to no one else?”
“No …”
“Good.”
It’s a good thing the instructions never said anything about, ‘consume immediately’ because you were very distracted for some time.

Too old for this
TLDR Link(Wild) is 44 and gets dragged on an adventure with a bunch of other Links and he’s not pleased.
To say he was too old for this would be an understatement. Link has lost everyone, died more times then he can count, fought every monster at least twice, defeated Ganon twice, and now Hylia wants to send him on another damned adventure. Yeah, quick question. What, how and why the hell?
Do these other Links seriously expect him to go along with them?
It all started one sunny morning. After the defeat of dehydrated Ganondorf a good twenty-five years ago, he was determined to settle down. About fifteen years ago, he gave his house in Hateno up to Zelda and built himself a little cottage out in the forest of spirits on the great plateau, far away from civilization. While, yes, Link was happy Hyrule was returning to its glory days, that doesn't change the fact that he hates crowds. And when Hateno became too much for him to handle, he decided to go live the one place that only those who could fly could reach. Robbie and Purah did an amazing job destroying the stairs to the great plateau, it's not climbable unless you have great stamina- like he does- or if you have the sheikah slate.
For a while Link moved around everywhere, trying to find the perfect place where no one would bother him. He lived in the lost forest with the great Deku tree for a while, but there were too many Koroks. The beaches were good, until people started flocking to them. Near the great fairies were cool, but people started going there too! The great plateau was really a last resort, but kind of poetic in a way. This was where it all started, and he was sure this would be where it all ended. By all means, he intended to live out his life in that old cottage he built from the ground up, but of course he couldn't get even that.
The sun rose early that morning, birds chirped and squirrels ran about. It was a perfect morning. Link got up with a stretch and went to make his morning cup of tea (he gathered the herbs himself) and added in honey (that he also got himself). Really, the only things Link didn't get himself was all the furniture. (He commissioned Bolson his finest furniture and took it up here with the sheikah slate)
As he drank the hot, yet not too hot tea, he reminisced of his past. He brought animals up here with him using a fine mixture of octorock ballon's and planks of wood. Some chickens (his sister loved them. That is all he remembered of her), a beautiful dog (what would Daruk think?) and his beloved horse, Epona (I miss her)
Over the years, each one passed on, and he gave them all a propped burial. (He'd be lying if he said he didn't think about using the shrine of resurrection on them. But that would be just cruel of him. They don't deserve to go through what he went through)
So now he lives alone. It's not so bad, Zelda comes to visit him every week to check up and make sure he isn't dead yet. The silence was terrifying at first. It wasn't right to not be surrounded by the noise of all his critters (I miss them) but he learned to live like that. It took time, but he's made it this far, and he's been through far worse. All it takes is time.
After he finished his tea, he got up and put on his hylian tunic, trousers and cloak and went out with a bow and some shock arrows. He walked to the nearest pond that was full of hylian trout. (A whole lot of things are named "hylian", he wonders what the other races think of that) knocking a shock arrow in the bow, he aimed carefully and shot. A wave of electricity shot out from the pond, sending some sparks his way. He doesn't hesitate to jump in and grab all the fish. This should last breakfast and lunch.
Hyrule is coming back to an advanced civilization, new technology was being invented everyday, like things called "stoves"
Call Link old fashioned all you want, but he just prefers the old cooking pots. It gives him a sense of nostalgia, bringing him back bit the early days. Back when he wasn't sure if you could eat bokoblin guts and bugs, back when making an edible dish made his whole week. Now that he's an amazing chef, he doesn't really have that same feeling of euphoria after cooking a good meal, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. It's just not the same. The smell of roasted fish fills the air, making his mouth water. One thing he can never tire of is the smell of a delicious home cooked meal.
Another thing Link learned in his journey is ideal hearing. He could hear a twig snap from a mile away, and right now, he hears seven- no- eight people? They're talking to each other about... something. Okay, his hearing may not be as good as it used to, but that is to be expected with age. He quickly stands up, placing his half raw fish on a plate so it won't burn, placing it on the window sill before running off in the direction of the voices. He had a bit of a limp, but despite that he was still fast. One question was on his mind- how in the three did so many people get up on the plateau? Are they professional climbers or something? When he gets close enough, he can eavesdrop in on the conversation.
"This place is familiar. Time, do you think...?"
"Could be, pup. If what you told me is true, then we may have a new member."
"God I hope there's a way off this stupid lump of earth."
"We'll be fine Vet, stop your bellyaching."
"Hey, no fighting!"
"Well excuse me, but being here has me on edge."
"He has a point for once, we haven't seen a single person or exit."
"Well, maybe our visitor knows a way off this place?"
Link winces from his place behind the trees. How was he spotted that easily?
"Visitor?" One of them question.
Link sighs and walks out from behind the trees. "I believe that visitor is me." He says, his voice rough and grainy, either from age or disuse, maybe both. The group eye him wearily, he supposes he may look a little threatening.
He has long since abandoned his old blue hair tie, instead letting his slightly tangled hair go free. His hylian clothes were still soaked from when he jumped into the water. He was covered in scars, most notably the large burn mark that goes from his left ribcage all the way up to his face. And most noticeably, his arms. One arm had a hand with only four fingers (he can thank the yiga for that) and the other- how could one describe it.... It looks like it had been burnt to a crisp, then adorned with golden lining. While that hand has all its fingers, his nails are look unnaturally sharpened, even though it's very much natural. (He tried shaving it down, but they just grew back just as sharp)
"How did you get here in the first place?" He asks, his eyes stone cold and his scratchy voice unwavering. "We climbed, but now we're lost." The oldest one says. He has golden hair, bares silver armor, and he's got a scar right over one of his eyes. He appears to be the same age as Link, if not a bit younger,
He narrows his eyes at them. The yiga were almost completely destroyed a decade ago, but then again, he wouldn't be surprised if a few rouge ones came back to take the rest of his fingers. "You sure about that?" He has a right to be suspicious, the yiga have gave him more then his fair share of scars.
The scared man nods. "Positive." Another with scars and a wold pelt steps forwards, eyeing him up and down. Something about his eyes sparked nostalgia in him. "We haven't introduced ourselves. I'm Twilight, this here is Time, Legend, Hyrule, Warriors, Wind, Sky, and Four," he points to each one in turn "and you are?" A few alarms went off in his head, so he took some time to asses this. He had shock arrows on him, good, that could buy him enough time to run back to his house and grab a weapon. The only ones he feel he has to worry about is Time, Twilight, and Legend. The rest he could probably take. Time and Twilight look strong, but Legend is covered in strange magic, and so is Twilight. But then again, Hyrule's magic feels like... fairy magic? That can't be right.
"Link." He responds. The others look between each other, and Sky steps forward. "And are you by chance a hero?" Sky asks. Link thinks for a second, before nodding. Is he being smart? Absolutely not. But if it's his time to go then it's his time to go. He's not afraid of death, he hasn't been since Vah Ruta, and not having Mipha's grace won't stop that. "Link, this may be hard to understand, but... our real names are also Link, and we're hero's from the past. O-or future! We don't know your placement yet. I am the hero of the skies, the very first Link that we know of, and forger of the master sword." Sky says, unsheathing the master sword and holding it out for Link to see. Link stares wide eyed. it's really her, isn't it? She looks... and feels so new. Surely this is all a dream. "You can touch her, if you'd like. She doesn't bite!" He jokes, but the burn scars on Links hands from his first two times pulling her would like to disagree. Carefully, he reaches out, placing a hand on her sheath. A chime fills his head, one he only heard in his first final moments all the way back at fort Hateno. "Welcome, hero of the Wilds." She speaks, her robotic voice devoid of emotion. He yanks his hand back as if she burned him, not taking his eyes off the sword. "Hero of the Wilds, huh? Nice to meet you, Wild." Sky says. The others seem pleased by this.
"Wild, huh? I wonder if you'll live up to your name." Legend speaks. Twilight won't take his eyes off of Link- Wild.
"What do you want from me?" Wild asks, eyes still wide in shock. This is a lot to take in, after all! "We're chasing a being far stronger then anything we've faced so far through portals. These portals take us to different time periods and worlds, it's how we got here." Wild doesn't like where this is going. "We need you to join us and help us take down this foe." Wild thinks for a few seconds, this would mean leaving behind everything he knows with a bunch of past reincarnations of himself. Really, the answer was clear.
"No."
Wild turns and begins to walk away from all this bullshit. "Hey, wait!" The others just follow after him. "Look, I know you don't want to join us, believe me I didn't want to join either, but we don't really have a choice." Legend explains.
"There's eight of you already, you don't need me." Wild replies, not looking back. Sky speeds up as to walk closer to him. "But we do need you! Even with eight of us, we're still struggling! We need more fighters, and you're-" Wild turns around, glaring daggers at all of them, even the little kid Wind. "Then IM not who you're looking for! Go find another Link! Stop by here ten thousand years ago, there was a really good Link then! I'm not a fighter anymore, I'm rusty, and I'm old." Sky goes to speak again, but Link interrupts him. "Look, if you came by here twentyish years ago, I probably would have agreed. But the thing is, I haven't fought a thing in over two decades. Monsters don't spawn up here anymore. While your whole adventure thing sounds fun, I'm just not cut out for it anymore." Sky once again goes to speak, but can't make out a syllable before Wild interrupts him once more "I've been dragged through hell and back by the scruff of my neck on multiple occasions. I lost a finger, I lost my arm, I lost my family and friends, and if I go on this adventure I just know I'm going to lose my life. I may not be afraid of death, but I promised myself I'd die out here on this plateau. And I'm not one to break promises." He says, before walking away once more.
"Wild, Link, please understand that if it's Hylia's will, then it will happen. She'll find a way to bring you with us, she did the same with Legend and Warriors and it wasn't very pleasant." Sky explains. "Then Hylia better be knocking on my doorstep and dragging my out by the hair or else I'm not going." Wild replies. Legend rolls his eyes "At this point she just might." He mumbles.
Wild continues to walk all the way to his little cottage in the woods, ignoring all of their attempts to make him join. "Wait, are you injured?" Hyrule asks, probably noticing his limp. He sighs in response. "No, I just have a limp. All the more reason to not join you." He responds. A few years ago he had a nasty fall, breaking his leg in a few places, he hasn't been able to walk right since. Hylia, if he could still pull off that gerudo outfit he could probably get a message therapist to fix him up. it doesn't take them long to reach his cottage "Hey, this is your house? It's super cool!" Wind says, walking up to block him from entering. "But please, we need you! It's for the good of all hyrule!" He begs. "Move it, kid. You're twenty-five years too late." Wild responds, taking him by the shoulders and pushing him away.
"Wait, please listen-!" He slams the door on them so hard the pictures on the wall shake, and one particularly old one rattles a bit too hard and falls. Wild gasps and runs, skidding to a stop and catching it right before it hits the ground. He lets out a relieved sigh. He checks over it, making sure nothing broke. It was the only thing he had of the champions now. When he moved out of his old home in Hateno, he and Zelda agreed the champions weapons would be better in the hands of others. Revali's eagle bow went to young Tulin, who has recently mastered Revali's gale with much practice and help from Wild. Urbosa's scimitar went to Riju, and her daybreaker shield Zelda kept. Mipha's trident went to Sidon, and Daruk's boulder breaker went to Yunobo. In the photo, Daruk smiled brightly in the background, Mipha and Revali are falling forwards, looks of surprise forever plastered on their faces. Zelda is leaning back to avoid falling over as well, and Wild is in the process of falling as well. A small smile creeps up on his face as he reminisces about that day. He stands up and puts the picture back on the wall.
The bittersweet moment is interrupted by knocking on his door. He groans and walks to his room, ignoring them completely. He doesn't care what they say, there's eight of them already! He's forty-four years old and tired, he'll only slow them down. His bones ache and his scars burn when it rains, what about that says "adventure material"? Hylia's a clown if she believes he'll go along with this stupid plan of hers. He's been through enough, hasn't he? What if he dies? He's all Zelda has left! Impa passed on shortly after their second adventure, Robbie following after. When Purah fixed her de-aging rune and turned it into an aging rune, she only lived for another week before death took her too. He's the only person from before the calamity she has, he's all she has left just as she is all he has left. At least if he dies on the plateau she can rest easily after a proper burial. If he dies out there, he may never get a burial. Zelda may never even know he's dead! What if she lives out the rest of her life waiting for him to return? The mere thought makes his heart ache. He's not afraid of death, he's afraid of leaving his best friend.
A few hours pass, and the other Links don't leave. They try reasoning with him, but it all falls on deaf ears. He really wishes they'd just give up, he's starving and the fish he was cooking earlier are too raw for him to eat. Sure, he might have been able to eat raw fish when he was nineteen and be fine, but he's in his mid forties now, he just can't do that anymore. Oh to be young and carefree again.
Then, a strange, pulling feeling tugs at his chest. The others start knocking on his door even more. "Uh, Wild? You miiiight wanna come along with us. A portal has opened." Wind announces. "Good, time for you to go. Bye bye, see you never." He responds, plopping down on his comfy blue chair, it's the same shade as his champions tunic. He can't fit into it anymore, but it still hangs proudly on his bedroom wall. He reaches over and pulls out a book, deciding to read the strange feeling in his chest away. "Look, if you don't come with us, Hylia will still find a way to take you with us, it'll suck. Trust me, I'd know." Legend yells out. Wild ignores them, not even gracing them with a response.
"Your funeral." Warriors tells him from the other side of the door, and distantly he can hear them walking away. He lets out a sigh of relief, it took them long enough. Minutes pass and the tugging feeling only gets worse, until eventually it's exhausting to breath. He stands up on shaky legs and begins to walk outside for fresh air. One step after another, until one foot doesn't reach the ground. Is that a... portal? Well, shit. Wild is sent tumbling through a colorful portal, a similar feeling to teleporting via sheikah slate, just stronger.
Wild lands face first in the wet sand, his gasp only lets him inhale sand and sea water. He chokes and coughs, and soon enough he feels someone patting his back. After a few agonizing minutes, his airways are cleared. He wipes the tears from his eyes and looks up at whoever was patting him. It's non other then the hero of legends, Legend. "Told ya it wasn't pleasant. Should have just came with us when you had the chance." He tells him. Wild glares at him. "Oh fvck off, you." He replies. "Language." Time interjects. Wind laughs. "Oh please, let the old guy swear! I promise it's nothing I haven't heard before, I'm a pirate after all!" He announces. Wild sighs. "Where am I?" He asks.
"Welcome to Outset island! You're in my hyrule!" Wild groans. "This is how I die." He mumbles, struggling to his feet. Hyrule walks up, helping him off the ground. "I'm fine." He tells him, brushing the sand off of him.
Wild looks around and groans. "And of course, no weapons, no armor. Just dandy." Legend chuckles. "Once again, we warned you. Hylia's a little shit." He tells him. Isn't this great? Zelda was supposed to visit him tomorrow, she's gonna be worried sick! When will he be back? He needs to get back home! "Hey, you okay?" Wind asks.
"Obviously not." He snaps. Was that mean of him? Yeah, but he can't help it! This is the most stress he's been under in decades! He's not a fighter anymore! He has no supplies, he has zero idea what's going to happen, and he's on a random beach! What if these other hyrules have large crowds? Just the thought makes him anxious! And he's gonna need to be around eight other men? He's already feeling claustrophobic. How in Hylia is he going to manage?
Well, the only way out is forward, he supposes.

WHAT I THINK IS THAT UR SO RIGHT and I need to add on my thoughts to this bc they are all i think about literally all . my. thoughts. are just gomens and they are all sloshing around in my head mixing around like an ice-cream mixer. so.
first of all. ik the fandom is really divided on a bunch of theories and yeha I get why but tbh I'm not going to rule anything out YET simply bc the story we see is NOT the entire narrative and each theory is elaborating on this untold narrative BUT one that I will rule out is probably the coffee theory bc while yes I think that the coffee plays a part in SOMETHING but no j don't think aziraphale was drugged but SOMETHING HAPPENED W/ THE COFFEE and I would LOVE to know what.
yeah zira definitely doesn't want to go back to heaven but it's also hard to break cycles esp when u have followed them for 6000+ years (as we evidently see in the confession scene, WHICH WAS WILD but I'll get to that later lmao) and as u already mentioned he feels indebted to heaven and all i mean to say is.... i get it, damn.
also, I think timing has SO MUCH to do with the scene and maybe it's just the side of the fandom I'm on or smth but there is a significant lack in the amount of ppl talking abt the clock in the "no nightingales" scene like WDYMMMM "I don't hear anything" DO U NOT HEAR THE BASTARD CLOCK?? excuse my swearing but yeah. LIkE U SAID. there are no nightingales, but there is time, and idk... smth abt how this is going on when they're caught up in everything, so they don't pay any attention to the clock (which if we're going the time thing then hahahaaha that's a cruel metaphor)
but also, in a show where NOTHING is unintentional, y'all are really ignoring the huge clock in the background???? okay fuck the background, sound design really could've turned down the clock in the scene and They Didn't. and this says nothing for how we see the scene??? like I said, the ENTIRE conflict leading up to the final fifteen, is shown to us through a filter, now who is behind the filter?? whether that be the metatron, god, aziraphale or crowley or just Neil himself (it's left up to us, really) tbh it doesn't really matter, what DOES matter is that there are 100% things going on that we do NOT see, idk man, my point is that the gomens fandom places too much trust in neil (WHEN HE'S PERSONALLY SAID THAT ALL WRITERS ARE LIARS!!) that's all🤷
anyway I have no idea what I just said so let's move on from that💀
yeahhh the fandom seems to think that crowley will just LEAVE aziraphale to be. back in heaven. but unless the characterisation of crowley changes in the time it takes for S3 to be written, produced, edited and released; crowley is definitely pulling a "saving me makes him so happy" HIS FIRST PRIORITY HAS BEEN 'MAKE SURE AZIRAPHALE IS OKAY' for so soooo long that No Way he won't take the first opportunity to make sure zira isn't being chained in heaven's (maybe metaphorical) cells.
and there's also so much to explore abt the book of life that I can't even begin to explain the possibilities of. like it's such a broad concept only bc the show has just sort of... thrown the book around this season, there is nothing we can say for sure abt how it behaves in the context of the show apart from maybe "u won't just be erased from existence, u will never have existed" and that is what the fandom has highlighted in big bright neon yellow ink and it makes me wonder how far the show is willing to take this, ITS SO IMPORTANT AND WERE JUST LEFT GUESSING AS TO HOW. AHHH.
and back to the confession. AZIRAPHALE KNOWSS. or I think he knows Some of it. he has a brief understanding of what will happen and how to shape it into something that will present the best outcome (i.e. an outcome that doesn't result in him and crowley + the rest of humanity to be turned into heaven/hell's playthings and tossed in the big, dark -hopefully metaphorical- pit). he knows this bc he knows crowley better than anyone and he knows heaven (or again, has a brief understanding) better than many angels. he does something he's been doing for millennia; he goes with heaven, he goes to the already set 'i forgive u' he thinks this will be like any other disagreement they have ever had, that he will resort to saying smth that crowley cannot POSSIBLY counter and crowley will storm off and he will be safe. but NOO bc this is the ONE TIME crowley BEGS he tries everything he confesses and aziraphale has to go into the waters with Crowley, and do what he expects heaven would want, what he expects Crowley would never do, something that will SURELY work. he begs him to come "to HEAVEN........ as ANGELS.... TOGETHER!!!" we can be together!!! BUT IDK MAN NEITHER OF U SEEM PRETTY KEEN TO GO. so now crowley is gone, he's safe and zira can go with heaven. yayy, he'll have protected the one being that matters to him more than anything else, until heaven/hell ends all life on earth!!
any way people have interpreted the scene, in my opinion, is right but also wrong bc yeah like u said, nobody but the writers really 'understand' aziraphale.
on the split end screen, how likely do u think it is that it implies a body swap??? honestly the idea didn't occur to me until the fandom suggested it bc i had always assumed the body swap was a one-time thing but i do think it's entirely possible!!
red......... i am deeply scarred from that ending, rewatching it is like subjecting yourself to physical torture but how could you ever possibly watch anything else now???
anyway, sorry for this rambling lmao
hi sorry if im bothering u lmao but what are ur opinions on ofmd2 so far?? also what do u think will happen in ep8?? ik i already asked u a couple weeks ago but sm stuff happened in the season after that + i'm procrastinating a bunch of work i have to do:)
don’t worry youre not a bother! i love talking about shows i like so feel free to ask anytime :) plus this is an excuse for me to procrastinate as well lmaooo
i’m really enjoying this season, to see a show be so unabashedly and explicitly be queer, i ESPECIALLY loved calypso’s birthday for the izzy development and the drag and STEDE KILLING NEDLOW FOR INSULTING ED??? and seeing stede slam ed onto the wall is giving me MAJOR good omens s3 visions (leave it to me to make everything about good omens but…. aziraphale slamming crowley into a wall?? telling him to stop being so passive aggressive and then subtly asking if he can go for the kiss?? and then he does?? i see it so clearly)
AND ZHENG AND OLU !!!! episode 8 was great and seeing stede really be happy as a pirate in his infamy was great, but ngl i saw the miscommunication conflict coming a mile away (again, good omens has taught me well) though i do not doubt that they will be together by the end of the season. curious to see how they will wrap it all in only one episode though, i do think they’re aiming for a third season.
i love love love love the speech anachronisms they’re going for this season, it’s artistic liberty done right. usually people try to hide or mask the more inaccurate parts of their works, so seeing a show embrace them is so fun and it works SO WELL (i did i for the lolz + izzy singing a 1940s song are my favourites)
in any case, pretending ofmd is good omens au is my coping mechanism. i swear i’m still sane. what do you think?

Devil Fausts AU Trivia
Some idea that I've had about the Devil Fausts AU (which is also shameless Faustsele content) from the fics here and here.
Josele meets the twins when she’s twenty. The twins physically appear to be in their twenties.
Morgen isn't considered a "good" devil because he wasn’t nearly as cruel as Nacht or other devils. While he is powerful, he was never inclined to hurt those weaker than him. Life in the Underworld made him to be jaded and cruel though.
Nacht was held in higher regard in the Underworld. He liked the thrill of fighting other devils. He used his strength and cruelty to defend Morgen as his brother was his only soft spot.
Morgen and Nacht like the human world because there, they’re the top dogs. But also they’re amazed by what the world is like.
Nacht is more direct in his fighting. He likes to deal as much damage as quickly as possible.
Morgen prefers to play with his enemies. Slowly chipping away at their strength and confidence until they’re begging to be defeated.
Josele allows the twins manifest whenever they please with restrictions to protect her privacy. They might have a contract with her but that doesn't mean they can just pop in on her any time they please.
At first, Julius wanted someone to always be around Josele to watch out for her. Josele said it wasn't necessary given the rules she set in her contract.
As long as the contract between Josele and the twins is in place, the twins aren't allowed to hurt her. It’d be bad to attack one’s master. Also, her death means they’re sent straight back to the Underworld after all.
However, Josele isn’t allowed to simply end the deal on a whim. She must be given a reason to do so.
The deal is somewhat vague but in general, Josele can’t end the contract unless the twins act against her direct wishes.
This creates a loophole where Morgen and Nacht can take actions on their own if Josele is unable to give orders.
Killing or irreversible damage (anything Josele or Owen can’t personally heal) is out of the question.
The twins got away with it once; killing the man who initiated the ritual that led to the trio’s contract. He wanted to take back the twins’ relics but neither they nor Josele were having that. Josele wasn’t sure if she could kill on her own so she gave the twins the go ahead.
Their early treatment of Josele wasn't exactly nice. Nacht would repeatedly try to scare Josele outright and Morgen would come to her defense before turning on her and mocking her weakness.
Josele gets used to their antics and eventually is able to brush off their antics in a calm manner that intrigues the twins.
But there is one incident where Nacht makes Josele think he is genuinely going to hurt her, contract be damned. She clings to Morgen and begs him to make Nacht stop. Morgen's buried gentleness is reawakened and Nacht regrets scaring her so much.
Nacht and Morgen also tried to get Josele to go wild with their magic, to fight evil using evil.
But Josele was determined to use the devils’ power in a righteous way.
Josele shows the twins how their powers can be used for good. How they’re good deep inside. Nacht did protect Morgen, and now protects Josele. And Morgen has always been kind and just needed to be around people who encouraged that side of him.
After Morgen and Nacht have become a little more docile, they take to sleeping with Josele in their small, familiar forms.
When not with Josele, the twins hang out with Yami.
Nacht likes Yami’s nonchalant attitude and learns about the dark underbelly of human society from him. Morgen can tell Yami is Josele's closest friend, and as he's finding his heart again, he wants to learn what kind of person Josele likes being around.
Josele teaches the devils how to do regular human things like cook and clean. They’re horrible at it at first.
Yami, William, and Marx aren’t close but they can all agree that two supreme devils fumbling to make a salad is objectively hilarious.
Nacht and Morgen have a fused form (like Namaah and Lilith did) which gets named Faust.
Separately or together, Nacht and Morgen can use their magic to create illusory human forms.
Faust has been introduced to Josele’s parents (Gwenith and Thomas both live longer in this au, yes). Neither parents have caught on that Faust is actually two devils.
Josele is much more tsundere in this au because she has to keep Nacht and Morgen in line. But she also wants to love them. She’s in trouble folks.
Morgen falls for Josele's strength of character, her ability to put up with him and Nacht and keep her moral compass. Helping him find his own again helps too.
Nacht falls for Josele's softer side, her gentle smiles and the source of her healing magic really enchant him. He falls for her kindness and wants to protect it.
The moment when Josele really starts falling for the twins is at a masquerade. The twins come in disguise and sweep her off her feet.
She doesn’t even recognize them until they pull her aside and reveal themselves.
Morgen would research human courting practices to impress Josele only for her to be annoyed that Morgen is pretending to be someone he's not.
Nacht just does what he likes but since he's always teasing Josele, she finds it difficult to tell if his feelings are genuine.
At some point, Yami confronts Josele about her relationship with the twins. He tells her “I’m all about surpassing limits but you’re crossing a line!”
Josele's unite form with Morgen turns her into an armored dancer. Simple armor and flowing silk woven from Morgen's light magic. She appears elegant, otherworldly, and (ironically) pure.
Josele's unite form with Nacht makes her look like a rogue/assassin. Form fitting clothes of shadows coupled with claws. This form is ominous and vicious in appearance and use.
If Josele were to unite with both Morgen and Nacht... Whoever brought that on should be saying their prayers. Josele becomes wreathed in the darkest shadows and unholy light. She is both too bright to look at directly and too dark to see properly. The first time Josele achieved this form, she immediately blacked out afterwards because of the strain on her body and mind.
