I think I did not quite expect Emily to have a "She used to be mine" [Waitress] moment or arc in season 17, but holy fuck was it deserved. The season 17 finale is still with me. Maybe it shouldnt, but her speech in the kidnapping talk down gave me such a pleasant shock that they were touching on that side of all the shit she's been through. Most of all the allusion to SA that really had me going "oh shit."

Emily reckless *just* enough Prentiss. Her work has taken so much from her, and she keeps trucking. Emily for 16 seasons screams "I know what's right for me. It's the only thing I've never done."

Romance doesn't have to happen for a character to get a happy ending, but if she does get one, she deserves it to be the biggest happiness. Like a coming home sort of thing. I don't really know how they would do that without background [insert your favourite Emily ship here], but I'd be so excited and so willing to see it happen with whatever character they'd introduce for her (except any of her past boyfriends, because I cannot make sense of Emily's type for the life of me, but I haven't given it close enough analysis).

hiii again!! hope ur doing okay <3 i saw ur requests were open so may i please request some more of crane? ive been so intrigued with crane and reader's last conversation, where he mentioned "i would have gone farther if you'd let me" if that did happen, what else would he have done besides drugging her? did he have other ideas, fantasies? also i was super curious, since we rarely got to see reader being overly emotional with him in fear of offending him, how would he react if reader were to have an emotional breakdown in front of him. would he comfort her if she cried? or would he not care?

I'm gonna put these thoughts under the cut because there are some themes of dubious consent/CNC and just Jonathan being Jonathan. Just some bullet point headcanons but I'd be down expand any of them into one-shots! (that would probably be the darkest thing I'd write lol)

Jonathan likes the idea of you consensually allowing him to drug you and then fucking you while you're fighting off the visions from the fear toxin. He doesn't know if he would be a part of your vision or if he would be the only thing tethering you to sanity, but he desperately wanted to find out. It would only be made better by the fact that you asked for it.

he wants to know if the fear toxin could be addictive. oh, how he'd love if you were willing to allow him to test different strains on you to see the effects it would have. Of course, once you became addicted, he'd be the only way for you to get your supply...

he just wants to keep you as his own little test subject !!!! and also own you completely and make it so you only think about him.

being emotional with him is a gamble. how he reacts just depends on how he's feeling and what he wants from you at that moment. I imagine he would either be incredibly coddling/comforting (to the point of it being stifling) with the goal of making you form a codependent attachment with him or he would be cold and let you spiral alone so that when he does comfort you, it seems like a breath of fresh air.

the closest we get in the fic to seeing the reader have an emotional breakdown in front of him is in chapter six after the reader quits her job at the convenience store and she acts kinda bratty. obviously, here he reacts harshly.
