el sueño de una niña (2) II Jenni Hermoso x Reader
part 1 | masterlist | word count: 1803
summary: Jenni promised reader's daughter Mila to come to her first football match, can she keep her promise despite being away with the Spanish national team.
author's note: dear readers, you asked for a part 2 and here it's, please enjoy. Let us know your thoughts on the oneshot.💜🖤
“But you promised to come…”, Mila whined through the phone, her voice on the verge of cracking. The disappointment in the little girls voice weighed heavy on Jennis heart.
She winced as she replied: “I know, I know.”
“It’s my first important game…”, Mila complained.
Jenni sighed. She was the one who had helped Mila find a football team in her age class, the one who had bought her first pair of cleats and also the one who had promised her support for her first game. Only, she had forgotten that she would be away with the national team at the time of Milas first game.
“I'll find a way to be there, Mila.”, Jenni promised determinedly. She didn’t know how yet but there was no way she would disappoint her.
Mila seemed a bit more calm at the end of their call but at the same time the conversation had attracted the interest of Jennis spanish team mates.
“Mila has a game?”, Alexia asked, her eyebrows moved towards her hairline with curiosity.
Jenni threw her phone on her hotelbed with frustration: “Yes, it’s her first one. She asked me to come weeks ago.”
Irene who leaned in the doorframe smiled to herself: “Do you all remember your first games?”
“Who doesn’t?”, Alexia replied with a grin.
“We all do.”, Jenni agreed. She knew from experience how formative first games could be.
Aitana stood there, frowning at Jenni like her brain was working at full speed: “But how do you get to her game when you’re here with us right now?”
The hotelroom went quiet as everyone seemed to search for a solution to help Jenni out.
“Easy, fake an injury.”, Mariona blurted out.
Four pairs of eyes stared at her. The disbelief about her suggestion was palpable inside the room.
Jennis face suddenly lit up as she got up from her bed: “During training later? Mario, you’re a genius!”
Excitedly, the darkhaired player pressed a grateful kiss to Marionas cheek and picked her up to whirl her around.
“Jenni!”, she protested, her cheeks slightly reddened.
“Sorry!”, Jenni laughed and finally let Mariona back down.
“Don’t tell anyone that I had anything to do with it.”, Mariona pleaded.
Jenni winked at her nonchalantly: “Oh, don’t worry, Darling. I’d not tell a soul.”
“Good.”
A few hours later, Jenni went down just as planned during a training drill. She held her knee and screamed in pain. The other players crowded around her, faking worried looks. Alexias eyebrows knotted together, indicating that Jenni was definitely overdoing it.
“Jennifer? Are you alright?”, their coach asked, crouching down to Jenni.
“No.”, the football player moaned.
“The physio should take a look at it.”, Alexia interrupted, trying to steer the conversation into the right direction.
Jenni nodded quickly: “Yes, just to be sure. That really didn’t feel good.”
“Okay.”, Montse agreed as she watched her get up and limp off towards the physios.
A short time later, the physiotherapist Pilar realised with a sour face. “You’re fine, Jennifer.”
“Listen I know I’m fine but there’s a game tonight I’ve to attend. It’s a little girl’s first football match.”, Jenni pleaded.
She shook her head in disbelief. “You want me to lie and say it’s bad enough that you’ve to leave?”
“Not to leave necessarily only to take a break until tomorrow. Please.”, Jenni looked at her with big eyes.
“Excuse me, you want me to compromise my integrity.”, Pilar protested.
“It’s for a good cause.”, the striker gave her the most charming smile in the hope it would work on the physio like it did on all the women before. Nowadays, the specific grin was usually reserved for Mila and you. But this was an emergency.
“You owe me, Hermoso.”, she warned her.
“I know, you can count on me.”, Jenni reassured the physio.
“Go.”, Pilar replied in an impatient tone.
“Thank you!”, the football player promptly jumped off the lounger throwing kisses at her.
“Ugh.”, the physio waved it off, pretending to be disgusted by it.
In awe you watched your daughter warm up with the teammates who became her friends. Mila and you were heartbroken that your friend hadn't come yet despite her promise, which she was supposedly so keen to keep.
The referee started the game that’s why you didn’t hear the person coming who put her arms around your waist with a cheeky smile on her lips. A loud gasp escaped your mouth as you turned around to see who dared to touch you like that.
“Jenni?!”, you exclaimed surprised, glancing at the face you came to love so much over the past year.
“Hey.”, the Spanish woman greeted you grinning.
“You really made it to the game.”, you whispered deeply impressed by her dedication.
“I told you I’d. I never break a promise.”, Jenni answered in a serious tone.
“True, it’s been twelve months, and you never ran away.”, you noted.
“Can’t believe you still think I would.”, she remarked hurt.
“No, I trust you.”, you disagreed whole-heartedly, cupping her cheeks with your hands before exchanging a gentle kiss with the striker. For one moment the pitch and the game faded into the background.
“I think I deserve that trust by now.”, Jenni stated earnestly, pressing a kiss to your hand before releasing you fully.
“You do.”, you responded. Both of you followed the game proudly. The Spanish national team player was the one who cheered and supported the girls the loudest.
A bright smile lit up Mila’s face during a short break once she realized that Jenni did came to the game to see her play. Shily your daughter waved at her which the striker returned with her hands formed to a heart. When the game was on again Mila even scored her first goal.
“There she comes! Hi Mila.”, Jenni kneed down to hug the small girl after the match officially ended.
Milas face split into a big grin once she spotted Jenni standing next to you. She immediately broke into a run and jumped into Jennis arms. “Jenni, you made it!“
“Of course I did. I promised you.“, Jenni laughed as she spun the little girl around before setting her back down on the grass.
Mila cocked her head: “Have you seen me play? You looked distracted by looking at Mami.“
You failed at stifling your laughter while your girlfriend replied: “Hey! Of course I watched you play.“
“Uhu, sure.“, Mila nodded, her little face filled with sass.
Jenni raised her eyebrow at her with a grin: “Excuse me? I came all the way from my national team camp to watch you play.“
The tiny football players’ eyes widened in awe: “How did you do that?“
“Magic.“, Jenni explained, waving her hands through the air as if she was casting some spells.
“Wow.“
“All for you.“, she winked at your daughter.
“Thank you, Jenni.“, Mila beamed and pressed yourself against the football player for another hug.
Jenni kneeled down to her: “You did so well today. Were you nervous?“
Mila nodded hesitantly: “Yes but Mami said she believes in me.“
“We both believed in you. Don’t worry, the nervousness gets better after a few games.“
“It does? Also, told coach that you’re a good coach too.“, Mila said and pointed in the direction of woman your age who watched you with raised eyebrows.
You shot her a smile while Jenni laughed: “Oh god.“
“She didn’t like to hear that.“, Mila confirmed what you both could read from the face of her coach already.
Jenni bit her lip to stop herself from laughing: “I bet so.“
“Mila, are you hungry?“, you quickly changed the topic, impatient to leave the football pitch and the watchful eyes of the youth coach.
“Yes!“
You turned to your girlfriend: “What about you, Jenni?“
“I think I have time to take my girls out for food.“, she winked.
“Perfect.“, you smiled.
Jenni held out her hand for Mila. You took the other hand of your daughter. “Let’s go.“
“Please, I’m starving.“, Mila complained which caused all three of you to break into laughter again.
Jenni ruffled through the young girls hair: “Don’t worry, you will get some food to fuel your body after such a long game.“
You found yourself at a restaurant shortly after. Mila was busy digging into her chicken tenders and you watched Jenni pick at her salad.
But there was something that your girlfriend had said earlier that you couldn’t get out of your head. You leaned forward, your chin resting on your hand and watched Jenni curiously: “So… how did you get out of the Spain camp?“
Chewing on a tomato, Jenni shook her head: “Can’t tell you that.“
“It’s top secret, huh?”, you smirked.
“Yes, it’s between me, the girls and our physio.”, she winked conspiratorially.
The small comment of the striker sparked Mila’s curiosity as well. “Was it dangerous?”
“A little bit.”, Jenni admitted sounding amused.
“Woah, that’s so cool.”, your daughter marvelled.
“Mila!”, you clicked your tongue disapprovingly.
“But mami you must admit it’s true.”, Mila defended herself.
Swiftly you changed the topic, looking into your girlfriend’s eyes. “When do you have to go back?”
“Tonight, but I can take Mila to bed before that.”, Jenni answered smiling.
“Really?”, your child asked beaming with delight.
“Really.”, the footballer confirmed mirroring her excitement.
“Good.”, Mila nodded satisfied.
The dinner with three had gone by in a blink.
In an animated tone Jenni read out loud to your daughter in the child’s bedroom. It was a story for boys and girls featuring the life story of Marta. In between you could hear Mila’s lively comments she exchanged with your girlfriend until there was only the silence of the night.
“She’s sleeping?”, you questioned as Jenni closed the door behind her.
“Yes.”, she affirmed calmly.
“Wonderful.”, you muttered gleefully. Eye to eye, you noticed a desire and lust in the way the striker looked at you. A blush crept upon your cheeks feeling the intensity of her stare. “What? Why are looking at me like that Jennifer?”
“No reason?”, she murmured innocently.
“No, tell me.”, you demanded in the knowledge that your lover was lying.
“Well, I’ve some more time before I’ve to leave.”, she began mischievously.
“You mean long enough to..?”
“Yes.”
“We shouldn’t waste more time don’t you agree?”, you glanced at her expectantly.
With a playful expression Jenni took your hand to guide you to your shared bedroom, leaving no doubt that she was fully in line with what just passed your lips.
Everything started with a promise and ended with another one.
After you two made love together Jenni promised that you three would be a forever thing. Something like the three musketeers against a man’s world which despite all it’s harshness would never get you down.

I've been suicidal many times in my life, and while I could talk about those experiences, given what this post is about, I'd rather talk about something else.
My boss at my previous job was not just my boss. He was my friend, my mentor. I'd met him as a student employee; I still remember the day I went in for my interview, and I asked to speak with "Mr [name]," and the other student employee who answered the door made a face and said, "Hey, Mr [Name], this girl is here to see you" when he let me in because my boss never wanted us to be so formal with him. We were on a first-name basis with him, always. I was nineteen, and super nervous interviewing for my first job that wasn't retail or food service, but he cracked jokes and made me feel welcome. He treated all of us like that.
He was just a really good man. He always stood up for us, every time the university tried to do something that would make our lives harder or less safe. I made a Facebook status once about how I was harassed by a gas station employee near the university, and he commented telling me he'd bring his bat if I needed it. When one of the supervisors ended up overstepping boundaries in a big way with us student employees, he worked overtime to make sure that we would all be safe. When I got promoted to a supervisor position after graduation, and took it upon myself to oversea the yearly Secret Santa tradition for the students (meaning I didn't participate because otherwise I would know who my Secret Santa was), he decided he wasn't letting me go without a present and got me one anyway, despite my insistence that it wasn't necessary.
Unfortunately, he had his own demons to fight. He was going through difficult stuff in his personal life. He told me a lot about it; I was a confidant for him, and at one point he told me I was the only person he could speak to about any of it. More unfortunately still, as much as I wanted to be there for him, I was also struggling to keep my own mental health on track. It was around this time that I was looking into starting antidepressants / anti-anxiety medication for the first time because of how much I was struggling, and I was really focused on getting all of that sorted so that I could stop being tempted by the trains I heard pass by my home every night. Because of this, I didn't check in on him regularly. And so, when his boss called me one morning before my shift was supposed to start and told me that he had taken his own life, I was consumed by more than just shock and grief; I was crushed by guilt.
You see, I blamed myself. Largely because he had told me I was the only one who could confide in, I couldn't help but think that if I had checked in on him more regularly, if I had been there, this wouldn't have happened. I could have prevented it. I could have saved him. He wouldn't have taken his own life, and it wouldn't have been one of his young daughters who found him like that. Not only had I lost a friend of nine years, but I felt like I failed him.
I know now that isn't the case. There were many factors involved, not the least of which being it turns out I wasn't the only one he confided in after all. But it took me a long time to reach that point—a long time until I could honestly say that I didn't feel like it was my fault.
In the midst of depression and suicidal ideation, it can be incredibly hard to see the importance that you have in other people's lives—the place that you have there, that no one else can fill. I know this intimately, because it is something that I struggle with regularly. But even if you can't see it, you have to hold in the forefront of your mind that the importance is there. The impact will be felt. Not only do people care about you, but those closest to you will hold the weight of responsibility for your life on their shoulders for a long time. If nothing else, you don't want that for the people you care about, do you? You don't want to do that to them, do you?
You are not the only one harmed by your suicide. In fact, you're the one who will feel the impact the least. Death doesn't hurt the deceased; it only wounds the living. That's why we have funerals: it's for the sake of those left behind. But no amount of funerals or celebrations of life can assuage the pain left by a suicide. It doesn't help. Notes don't either.
If you're in a place where you're ideating, reconsider. Reach out to someone close to you. Tell them where you are, mentally, and have them come be with you. Believe me when I say that they would much rather sit awake with you all night, than wake up the next morning to a message that you're gone.
Give us the chance to be there for you. It's all we ask.
periodic reminder that your death by your own hand will wreak more havoc on the lives of those you know than you are ever capable of imagining and if you need a sign not to kill yourself this is it. people care more than you know & i am one of them

I know I’m biased because Rise was my first positive experience with TMNT as a franchise, but I really cannot fathom how any TMNT fan who has watched more than the first half of season 1 could call Rise a bad iteration. Like, I can understand it not being someone’s taste if you’re used to the older style, but you HAVE to at least admit they had so much fun mixing up the usual formula and did a pretty good job with it.
They’ve had the same weapons for 40+ years? Switch them up for a little bit as the characters grow into themselves! Give them world-building explained super powers too!
The turtles are usually confined to just NYC and mutant related shenanigans? Throw in a whole hidden underground city with an unknown race that is hiding from human discovery!
Master Splinter’s always wise and responsible with a dark past? What if he was a runaway movie star who spent his life shirking responsibility until it came back to bite him?
Leo’s always the oldest brother and responsible leader? What if he’s a cocky middle child who has to learn responsibility during an alien invasion?
Raph’s always the moody middle child with anger issues? What if he’s the oldest, the main figure of responsibility in their household, and is the one to take the helm of leader for awhile?
April’s usually a boring female side character who only meets the turtles at the beginning of the show? Make her the fun family friend/oldest sister of the family! Let her be crazy and kick people in the shins! Let her be close with Donnie WITHOUT the weird and unnecessary romantic tension! (I am talking specifically about 2012 April.)
Oroku Saki and Karai, the usual heads of the Foot Clan? The Shredder’s a late-game villain whose spirit is trapped in evil mystic armor gifted to Saki by the Krang a thousand years ago, and his daughter turned into a magic sword to keep him trapped in a prison dimension.
Casey Jones? A Foot clan recruit whose identity is only revealed at the end of the series. Oh yeah she also has a time-traveler son by the same name who brings news of the apocalypse.
The Krang weren’t terrifying enough before? Make them capable of the most horrifying body horror you’re allowed to get away with on TV-Y7 rated television.
Baxter Stockman? Make him a 10yo iPad kid who’s bored and decides to make fake ghost stories on the internet for views. (Not my favorite villain, but it’s still a funny and unique take.)
The point is, difference can be good and interesting! Not every aspect of the story needs to be kept the same, sometimes it’s fun to mix things up! And Rise is a good example of that.

Husband choso who coddles you the whole pregnancy making sure you don’t lift a finger unless you truly want to and even then it still takes a little convincing. he can't keep his hands off you truly, always seeking your comfort. He puts your shoes on for you very early in the pregnancy and never falters.
Husband choso and uncle yuji who fight while building the crib somehow making the crib in 3 different ways (all incorrect) before they finally get it together.
Husband choso and uncle yuji who talk to your unborn baby through the stomach. Both sides of their head attached to your belly. They talk to your baby girl for hours even when you fall asleep. Yuji is so excited for his big brother and choso is happy that his brother loves your baby almost as much as he does.
Husband choso who has a sixth sense for your pregnancy needs. He wakes up minutes before you whine about a pregnancy craving, making you exactly want you want without you even asking. The both of you don’t know how he does it but you’re grateful nonetheless.
Husband choso who thinks he could never love anyone more than you until you have his daughter
Husband choso who is absolutely wrapped around his daughters finger in the moment she opens her beautiful brown orbs to stare at him for the first time. He feels his heart swell with tenderness and pride as he looks at his own eyes in female form
Husband choso who thanks and praises you as soon as he hears the strong cry of his daughter
Husband choso who follows you and his daughter like a lost puppy. Not wanting to be without you and especially not her
Husband choso who is actually really great at changing diapers despite having no experience. Changing his mini me’s diapers with speed and efficiency. Because of this, he is constantly on diaper duty, which he always complains about but secretly he doesnt mind. He loves cooing and playing with her hands after.
Husband choso who kisses your daughters feet and hands just absolutely in awe that such a wonderful creation is his. His heart flutters every time he hears her laugh
Husband choso who definitely cries when he hears the cries of your daughter getting her ears pierced
T. Fushiguro
Husband toji who was scared shitless when you told him you were pregnant. The shitess quickly turned into him shitting himself when he finds out that its a girl.
Husband toji who truly questions who wears the pants in this relationship at this point in time because your hormones have been off the roof. He knew you could be a brat but this new found attitude of yours is truly unmatched. He finds himself listening the first time (surprisingly) when you ask him to do something, for fear of getting his ear yanked down to your height and screamed in.
Husband toji who loves the fire in your eyes as the pregnancy progresses.
Husband toji who doesn’t protest but instead hides some chuckles as you chew shiu out for constantly bring him new assignments knowing damn well he has a pregnant wife at home and he can’t say no to money
Husband toji who shares a beer with uncle shiu as shiu tells him what its like to be a girl dad and live in a house full of exclusively girls.
Husband toji who doesnt think much about how fast and huge your belly is growing at only 4 months in.
Husband toji who gets a little nervous when shiu’s wife tells him that you’re getting huge and she only was that big when she was having twins. He shakes it off though, he knows he’s a big man so it would only make sense right… RIGHT???
husband toji who thinks he might faint when a routine ultrasound turns into the sonographer saying
“Hmm I must have missed this the last time but it appears you’re expecting twins! Congratulations!!”
Husband toji who fears being a terrible father especially to girls. You reassure him that he is not what he grew up with. He’s more than deserving of a happy family and that he will make a great dad.
Husband toji who keeps his hand on your belly at all times especially in public. It’s his effort to shield you and his kids from any harm
Husband toji who makes it a point to occasionally hold you from the back and lift your stomach to take the weight of your back. He figures its the least he could do especially because of his strength. It’s moments like this where you know he would make a great girl dad.
Husband toji who knows he’s a wanted man so he doubled on security and tripled in it on days when he isn’t around. Even getting a couple guard dogs just in case. He can’t take any chances on losing the best things that have ever happened to him, he already lost so much
Husband toji who sends shiu and his wife to the house for you on days where his target is being particularly hard to find.
Husband toji who has to be stopped by shiu from punching all the men in the room for peaking at his wife in such a vulnerable state during labor
Husband toji who’s fears of being a bad father dissipate when he holds his girls for the first time. It’s all clear to him now, he will lay his life down for you and his daughters. He vows would do whatever it takes to make sure you guys are safe and taken care of.
Husband toji who now wears a baby wrap always opting to carry one of the twins
G. Suguru
Husband suguru who genuinely isn’t surprised when you tell him you’re pregnant but he sure does put on one hell of an act. It was only a matter of time before the birth control you used was completely out of your system as he switched out each individual pill with a sugar pill and precisely packaged it back to normal
Husband suguru whose heart swells with pride when you start showing.
Husband suguru who wont stop cuddling you and making you the little spoon. He claims its good for the baby and for no other reason but everyone knows its for him
Husband suguru who insists on making sure you have a midwife or doula who stays with you on days that he can’t. They are in constant communication about you and your pregnancy. Personally, the doula thinks he bothers you too much but you think its just right and that’s all that matters. You could never get enough of your loving husband
Husband suguru who sees the pregnancy glow on you get stronger and stronger. It’s like his kryptonite. He could never resist you in the first place but it just makes it so much harder to get work done when his beautiful round pregnant wife is sitting on the couch in his clothes reading a book on maternity.
Husband suguru and uncle satoru who take turns singing to your belly while you laugh in glee. You never minded how close satoru was to your unborn baby, it was only expected. Suguru and satoru were like salt and pepper (literally)
Husband suguru who makes the most exquisite love to you throughout the whole pregnancy. He makes sure you know you are loved and cherished in any form you are in.
Husband suguru who has thoughts about blowing the whole hospital up if you experience so much as a smudge of malpractice. It’s his wife and kid for god’s sake.
Husband suguru who because of this makes sure he has a team of trusted maternity doctors in the house while you have a water birth. He sits next to the tub with you praising you for all that you’ve been through and what you’re about to go through.
Husband suguru who kind of hates himself when he sees that the pain youre in is immense. It brings tears to his eyes even when you tell him that it’s okay and that you wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. He still wants to drive a stake through his heart for “hurting” his precious wife.
Husband suguru who quite surprised when he sees that his daughter has his beautiful violet eyes.
Husband suguru who falls completely in love with you again when he sees his daughter latching onto your breast for the first time. He loves the motherly look on you.
Husband suguru who loves having you on his lap and his daughter in yours.
Husband suguru who’s heart has been stolen by his beautiful daughter when he watches her smile and wrap her small wrap around his index finger.
Husband suguru who is pleasantly surprised when he reaches under the bathroom counter to see your abandoned pack of pseudo birth control hiding in the corner. You didn’t touch it for months leading up to the day you said you were pregnant. he knows you wanted him to see it. He smirks to himself knowing that he has truly met his match and that you are nothing short of the one for him

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 3 part 3
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2])
lilia: falling through time, desperately trying to help alice
agatha: bitch I'm trying to save myself!!!!! oh she's so awkward when she thinks lilia's going mad. she's a moment away from grabbing a broom and going there, there like in that 30 rock scene
I know they had a relatively low budget for this show and it was such a blessing in disguise. they invested in great sets and instead of cgi they relied on classic cinema tricks that I find so satisfying?? Idk if it's just nostalgia talking. here they simply move the camera away for a moment, lower the lights and move the actor in position, and it makes for an amazing jumpscare.
baby lilia asking 'vuoi vedere?' do you want to see? because it is a choice for lilia. for a long time she chose not to use her gift- she was simply too powerful, she saw too much, and the knowledge of the future scarred her and made her an outcast among others
alice's smile at seeing a vision of her mom T-T
why inconvenient? what was jen doing? she was an obstetrician and midwife. she was helping women out with herbs and pagan knowledge passed down from mother to daughter. Back in the day midwives were struggling to get their skills recognized in an increasingly male dominated field, they were advocating alternative treatments for women constantly humiliated by condescending modern doctors - from forced bed rest to insane asylums to lobotomy in worst case scenarios. think Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story, The Yellow Wallpaper. think about everything that happened to Virginia Woolf.
we know that alice was a teenager when lorna died in a fire. she wasn't well, alice says, and we see now that she had a drinking problem. it's equally possible that the demon got to her or that she set herself on fire out of desperation. and if lorna could feel her own mother dying, alice could too.
daang great zombie makeup on the teacher lady
lilia when her incredible abilities made her able to see Death: burdened by knowledge way beyond the scope of humanity she goes into exile
agatha when her incredible abilities made her able to see Death: you know what I'm gonna tap that
I saw people saying that because the Road wasn't real nothing that happened in the show mattered, that they all died for nothing. I disagree completely, and not only because Billy's chaos magic is so astonishingly powerful that he can create a functional Road out of thin air. like, it wasn't a trick, he made it real. But more importantly, what happened to these women, their experiences, their growth on the Road is real. Even if Billy didn't do it on purpose, even if it's fucked up that a teenager can essentially go, you know what would be cool? if they all experienced their deepest trauma! but that's the point, that's the point, that's the whole damn point of the show. life is chaos and nonsense and heartbreak, it's up to you to find a meaning where there isn't any. look at lilia! the lesson is not that you're going to die, but what you choose to do with the cards that you're dealt, with the time that you're given.
while Patti clearly has an american accent, she is speaking correct sicilian, tutti morti su' - they could have had her talk in italian and hardly anyone would have noticed, but they went above and beyond with the details. the latin in the show is also rather impressive, like they actually hired experts rather than relying on google translate
agatha has gotten too used to run leaving a pile of bodies behind. not so easy to consider them just food when you have to live alongside them and witness their feelings, is it?? first wanda and now this!
@perpetualanon pointed out yesterday that agatha also had selfish reasons for wanting to save billy, i.e. she didn't want to risk him being poisoned because who knows what horrors a hallucinating billy could create. Yes! exactly that! it's always worth saying that when agatha has these fleeting moments of compassion and altruism it's in the context of a whole lotta selfishness. i think of her as that drawing of Stitch's badness level, her whole body is almost filled to the brim with awfulness and there's only a thin layer of goodness that she's constantly trying to smother. her actions on the Road are almost entirely selfish, but for the first time in centuries she's surrounded by people, like Lilia here and Jen and Alice and especially Billy, who are accidentally nurturing her almost atrophied good side. and lemme tell you she's pissed about it!
of course these two don't know what a sous vide is, one is dirt poor and the other eats people.
I'm gonna take a stand for zoomers here, he might have never learned what counterclockwise means, but millennials like me would also have hesitated and tried to picture it in our minds. because a lot of us lack spacial intelligence and are generally rather dumb
the shock and terror on her face when she hears nicky crying
another great special effect achieved only with lights and the cast shuffling out of frame
they show the darkhold because they need to mislead viewers and can't give nicky's story away just yet, but doesn't it make sense that agatha would see it? all these centuries blaming rio, and deep down agatha is haunted not by Death, but by her own actions and choices. the way she kept Nicky isolated and unsafe. the way she insulted his memory by going on killing sprees instead of letting herself mourn. the way she used the darkhold to corrupt her soul more and more, because she was never brave enough to confront her guilt.
kathryn hahn really said, do you want Emotional Devastation???? do you wanna see a woman SUFFER? do you want your heart put through a blender??? I can do that in TWO seconds
agatha wants to NOT DIE so badly that she has to drop the clown act and give jen a proper pep talk. because she knows what makes people tick and she can uplift just as well as she can destroy, she can help jen because she knows her so well. there's always that potential there, all of agatha's talent and her intelligence and experience could shape her into a great mother and sister in a coven. a potential that evanora refused to see and that will likely never be fulfilled.
and the irony, the irony of never wanting to hurt jen, to deliberately avoid going after her - because she's a midwife. because nicky was stillborn, because she had to give birth alone in the woods. agatha believes with all her heart that jen's work is fundamentally good and important. and yet she was the one who bound and tortured and violated her. she was so fucking focused on herself that she didn't even realize she was tramping and destroying everything in her path like a mad steamroller. she allied with the enemy, she went against her community's best interests. there's a lot to think about there, I really want to explore it more
patti during that hot ones episode
NOW YOU GUYS REMEMBER HER. and of course it's alice who does
your internalized stereotypes are really testing lilia's patience, billy (and while they consider the oven sharon is writhing and dying on the table)
how it started: jen pushing lilia out of the way
how it ended: "you are my sister in the craft" 🥲
I love you patti lupone
alice is strong! alice is noble! alice is pure of heart!
gee i wonder why
they had to add a goonies poster in billy's room because of this scene, but i guess disney didn't want to buy the copyright so the poster says "the goofballs"
agatha shoving everyone and then kicking jen twice for good measure
my guilty pleasure is watching reactors on youtube (don't judge) and everyone, everyone had my same reaction to sharon's death: she is not really dead. it was too unceremonious, too sudden. you cannot have debra jo rupp unconscious for half an episode and then get rid of her like that, she's too talented, too funny, how can they keep the humor up without her? if sharon is gone they don't want to watch anymore! no, they're gonna bring her back for sure, they're witches, they're going to find a way.
And then Alice dies, and it's unfair, it's too sad, she just had her big victory! that doesn't sit right with you, that the writers would do her so dirty. And then Lilia dies.
Wanda said it from the very beginning: we cannot reverse death, no matter how sad it makes us. Some things are forever. Sharon's death was horrible and uncomfortable and senseless on purpose, because these shows are about the exploration of grief. How can you make peace with the impossible? How can you reconcile yourself with a nice fun lady dying after losing her last shred of agency, scared and alone and forgotten? Didn't she deserve so much more than being just a casualty of witchfolk drama? And how can you reconcile yourself with someone as good and as wonderful as Alice dying in such a cruel way? What about the death of a parent? of a spouse? of a child? What about your own death, as inevitable and inescapable as your birth?
I'm posting this one early cos I didn't sleep last night and I wanna take a nap now 🥲 when I'm tired i ramble, I knew that already. sorry-y!
we get to episode four tomorrow, and y'all know what, or rather WHO, that means!
go to episode 4 part 1

“Feminism should center motherhood, most women become mother after all.” Yes, most do, and they sacrifice their daughters while worshipping predators. 1 in 4 girls are sexually abused and the perpetrator is almost never a stranger. In %90 of cases, the pedophilic rapist abuser is known to the family, and often times related. Do you really think mothers in mass are completely oblivious to the rampant abuse and molestation of children?
Every woman I know who was assaulted as a child, was done so by a family member. Nobody ever helped them. Their mothers and grandmothers rallied around the demon, and shamed the victim. Our justice system reflects the typical family unit, that’s why rapist and pedophiles rarely serve jail time. “The world is so bad, our countries are so corrupt!” Why wouldn’t they be, when the average citizen is a girl hating male predator worshiping pyscho? You can’t protect your own children but a stranger with a badge or gavel should?
No maternal instinct to be found, that’s how you know the feminist movement is all for show. Women will pick RAPIST PEDOPHILES over their own daughters. How many more girls have to be sacrificed so adult women can live in fantasy land. That’s what it all boils down to, women insisting an XY must be present for “fulfillment,” knowing the risk it poses to innocents. The typical woman has more allegiance to a strange male she passes on the street, than any female family member.
It’s often stated that it’s problematic how men never seem to know any abusers amongst their ranks. How are so many women preyed upon but most men insist they’re the good guys? Women should be asking themselves the same question. You’ll talk about how dangerous being a woman is, but all the men you know personally are great. Hmm, so every woman is lucky enough to be surrounded by decent men, but most women have had negative and dangerous experiences? Somethings not adding up.
Even the most “misandrist” and “radical” women will fold for a male family member. As long as a woman has a personal attachment to a boy or man, she will defend him to the death. There is no female solidarity, only pretending to care until a male decides to take over. This is a dangerous girls hating world that is run by Natalist who worship the Y chromosome. They will never stop the flow of bodies. Women love to serve men too much, and will allow them complete domain over their own daughters in exchange for validation.
The nuclear family is a child predators playground. They know that there’s no easier way to avoid responsibility or jail time than gaining the loyalty of a “matriarch.” The suffering of girls is what sustains this broken and twisted world. Both men and women are fighting to keep the family system going, because of the mutual benefits received by harming girl children. Women get their “picture perfect” family, and men get to be pedophiles in peace.

on the topic of your "bad gender" posts, the one you made mentioning sexual abuse (especially by mothers) is something nobody talks about at all and I'm glad you mentioned it.
My psychiatrist said I have CPTSD after I went through a huge breakdown after putting pieces together that I've been experiencing long-term sexual abuse from my mother (incredibly long story, but you get the idea). I still completely struggle with seeing what she's done and does as abuse, because it is totally buried in my mind that it is not abusive or strange because she is my mother. No matter how many times my friends and partner say it's wrong, or things like "imagine if it was your father", or my DBT therapist is straight up with me and tells me I was groomed by her, I just cannot get the idea that her being my mother specifically makes her behavior acceptable. (especially since I didn't come out as broadly transmasc until I was 18, and was thus seen as a complete extension of her and her body prior to).
I genuinely cannot comprehend where the line is between normal care and abuse because of what I've learned (from her or otherwise) maternal care looks like "compared to" paternal. And I just haven't found anything that's been able to really help me grasp what I've experienced because I just cannot understand why, or what I can do. The only thing I've found with others describing my specific experience is the MDSA subreddit, which is usually just extremely triggering for me to browse (obviously the content, but also the daughter framing and just the everything about it) so I don't go there, but it has shown me that many of us have lived very similar experiences, we just rarely recognized it as abnormal because it was our mother. Perceiving men as the inherently "bad gender" especially in terms of sexual abuse just makes me see red, and is a lot of why this can keep going on unnoticed. I don't really know what I'm trying to say, and I'm sorry to dump this here. It's hard to discuss the nuance of it without being kinda specific. I just saw you mention it and I rarely see the topic brought up, so I guess I just wanted to say thank you for doing so
Thank you so much for sharing this, anon. SO many children endure parentification, spousification, covert incest, and sexual abuse at the hands of their mothers and never get that mistreatment recognized as such because people view women as benevolent, passive caretakers rather than full human beings who are capable of harm. Adults wield immense power over children, particularly parents, and this power structure functions in much the same way men's power over women does -- it makes children into the property of adults, and facilitates abuse.
You are not alone in this experience at all. I'm sure you've heard all about Jeannette McCurdy's Memoir, but if you haven't read it, you might find it affirming. The poet Anne Sexton also sexually abused her daughter, Linda, who wrote a memoir about it called Searching for Mercy Street that is also a powerful read. The host of the podcast The Mental Illness Happy Hour is an adult survivor of covert sexual abuse at the hand of his mother, and he speaks about it quite frequently and thoughtfully on his show, and has interviewed numerous guests who have also survived covert incest. As a male survivor of sexual abuse at the hands of a woman, he's a rare, needed voice, and I've gotten a ton out of listening to it. There's also a self-help book on covert incest that I've read and appreciated called Silently Seduced. You may also find value in Issendai's analysis of estranged parent forums -- lots of documentation of abusive female parents and how they justify themselves to be found there, and the author eviscerates it expertly.
I hope that reading and listening to some of this material will help you to more clearly see the outlines of your own abuse and to recognize it as wrong and distinct from true maternal care. It wasn't my mom who was the chief boundary violator in my household, it was my dad, but a lot of what he did mimicked the traditionally "maternal" abuse profile, and all these resources helped me wrap my head around it a lot better. It's triggering stuff, but I think it is worth plunging these depths when you feel safe to do so, to what ever degree you can comfortably manage. You might want to dig up the Mental Illness Happy Hour episodes specifically about the host's abuse experience first, since that focuses on a man's experience of having been groomed by his mom.
Thanks for writing. My inbox is open if you wanna talk. This stuff was a foundational trauma for me that I have processed heavily and I'm always willing to discuss it more with people who have been there. <3

I've grown to love Singed as a character after watching act 2, which I should've seen coming considering my proclivity for mad scientist archetypes. He stood out to me in the first season too but there wasn't quite enough for me to sink my teeth into back then, so I'm glad they've decided to reveal more details regarding his lore now even if it still remains rather vague. That's actually one of the aspects that I like about him, it's fascinating how much he influences the overall plot even though his character receives almost no focus. He is constantly instigating chaos and causing so much tragedy for the main characters, and yet he is never confronted. I was actually just thinking about how it's a little funny that Jayce is getting blamed for what happened to Vander, even though Singed was the one who injected him with that serum. He brought Vander back to life and offered Jinx and Vi the chance to rebuild their family, only to immediately and brutally take it away.
That's kind of his entire thing. He brings the dead back to life against their will and they come out of it deeply and irreversibly changed (Vander, Jinx, possibly Viktor...?). He keeps his subjects breathing even if being alive is nothing but torture for them (Rio), not necessarily out of sadistic pleasure but in service to his ultimate ambition. For progress, evolution. It is then revealed that the motive behind all of his horrendous experiments is to bring his daughter back to life. It's all because of love, as he admits. I don't know a whole lot about the lore behind this, but I have to wonder how Orianna herself feels about this. Is she in pain, just like her father's other subjects? Is she grateful or resentful for what he is doing to her? Did she have any say in this?
One thing I like about his scientific methods is that he is willing to put his own body on the line and experiment on himself, like when he pumped his blood into WarWick. It definitely goes to show how... passionate he is. I also appreciate that he doesn't let any specimens go to waste. He even preserved the decapitated head of that guy he tested Shimmer on back in S1:
I'm sure most people would agree that Singed has a very impactful screen presence. Almost every single line he says is relevant for the overarching themes of the story. It feels like he's always dominating the scene, even when he was being held prisoner because he knew that his captors would immensely benefit from having him on their side and that Ambessa, the opportunist that she is, was going to ask him to join her as an advisor sooner or later. It's horrifying to imagine the biochemical warfare he is going to unleash while working with the Noxian army. He's going to invent new war crimes.
I also wanted to mention how relevant he is for Caitlyn's character arc in this season because most people seem to be overlooking it. I may have my personal gripes with her character progression in act 2, but her interactions with Singed in episode 5 were excellent. Singed isn't just a "crazed Zaunite", he is actually a Piltovan alchemist that is using the people of Zaun as lab rats for the sake of a deceased family member. Caitlyn realises that she will end up like him if she continues walking down the path she is currently on. That realisation, I think, is what informs her decisions later on.
I find his relationship with Viktor very fascinating too but that dynamic deserves an entirely separate post. They are both scientists with similar interests but very different philosophies and work ethics (or lack thereof). As I've briefly mentioned already, I believe Singed is going to bring Viktor back to life, robbing him of his autonomy once again in the process.
That is to say, I'm very invested in this weird old man and I'm excited to dive into his League lore after this season is over and find out what other atrocities he has commited.

answering your ask like this so i can 1: keep better tabs on it and 2: explain to everyone why i'll be taking a break. again.
Okay, so, a little while ago I had this blog called coredeliawhohung, and I had to basically step away from it because someone decided to write a "fix-it-fic" of one of my works. It really hurt. They pretty much took my entire story line by line and rewrote it. I won't rehash everything, but I mentioned a bit about it in a post here for anyone wanting more context.
After a few weeks I decided to start fresh on a brand new account. I literally created this account maybe a week ago give or take? I missed sharing my works. I missed this community. I wanted to start fresh and have fun again. I created Daughters With Soft Underbellies as my sort of "welcome back fic" to myself. Preachers Daughter Reader x Cowboy/Outlaw Price. I was having fun with it.
Then, yesterday, I happened across this:
This was a poll you posted roughly 2 or 3ish days after I made my preachers daughter x Price thing. Now, I'm not saying you were stealing or anything. You haven't even wrote anything for it, just asking for a feel from your followers. And judging by the title alone, it seems like yours was going to be different from mine already. While reader is still a preacher's daughter, Price will be a Sheriff, a lawman etc etc. Similar to mine but I'm sure you would've made your own changes. That's fine. However, because of my previous experience with that post I linked earlier, I blocked you just to save myself the heartache because it honestly really did trigger my anxiety haha. I'm thinking, oh boy I hope they change it but I also have a weird anxiety about it so I'll just block it to help myself.
However, and call me a baby if you want, something that kind of hurt was looking you up, seeing that you followed me, seeing that you liked the masterlist and chapters for my story, and didn't mention a single thing to me. No comments, no reblogs, no nothing telling me you liked my work. I'm sure you can see how this comes across, when you like someones work, don't say anything to them, and then come out with something similar to their work. It hurt a little. Another reason why I blocked. To me, community is about talking to one another and sharing what you love about their works, and this felt like... the opposite of whatever that is. I love inspiring people, it makes me feel so honored, but...
Again, I'm sure you would make your own changes and storyline and whatnot, but then when you sent me this ask this morning, I checked your blog and saw this:
You reblogged your poll with this ^ Seemed like people caught on to the similarities and were pointing it out, so I looked in the replies to see what was going on and saw this:
[re: a user said "I swear I've seen this exact idea somewhere else" and this is your reply]
"there are a few things i had wanted when i read it"
Ouch. Might as well have said "I really like this story but I want other things in it (despite it only being two chapters so far) so I'll just change that for myself, and I'm not going to tell the author I like their work until after someone mentions it to me."
I also think it's interesting that you say "i've seen similar ones" then go on to say "when i read It" like you were thinking of one specific story. It's one thing to read a Western AU (as there are tons of lovely ones out in the cod community) and be like "Wow, I want a western AU with these elements." That makes sense. And again, even if you wrote your own preachers daughter x whatever, that's still fine! Like I said I just blocked because of my own anxiety! But all this? I'm sorry but no that's really not cool with me. It felt like you were walking all over me. No asks, no comments, no reblogs, just this.
And that's the long and short of it I guess.
And guys, please don't go out looking for this user. I want to be able to explain the situation to you guys and give you the details without worry. I want to be able to stand up for myself and not have to worry about people harassing them over something that's honestly not worth it. It's fanfiction, it's fine. I recognize that after my previous experience I'm probably making a mountain out of a molehill. But I will be taking a break. Again. (hopefully just a tiny one but we'll see) Hardly been back for a week but looks like it's already well overdue.
Again, it's fine, and no big deal. But i'm sure you guys can see how this hurt, and I beg you not to exacerbate the situation in any way at all.

What do you think so far of season 2 of Arcane ? Honestly I think for my part that it’s too rushed and there are too many storylines it’s so confusing. Besides they completely destroyed Vi and Caitlyn relationship lol the disappointment is high
Hi!
I am sorry you are not enjoying the season very much. On my part I am loving it and I am looking forward to the final act!
I think much criticism I have seen stems from the very own premise of Arcane as a show tbh. I think there are two things to clarify.
First thing to clarify
Arcane is in the end a League of Legends show. Its main commercial goal is to explore the Lore of the Game, so that new fans can be brought in and old fans can have fun spotting easter eggs. As a result, it takes some choices that in another story you wouldn't have. Two examples:
1- Mel's arc feels out of the blue, but it ties into the lore of the game (I heard they wanted to make Mel into a new champion? If so, she is probably going through an arc where she is receiving magical abilities, as smart as fuck and good at politics isn't exactly a set skill that works in LOL). It is a storyline you would not usually add, as you would not usually add the Black Rose shenaningas. They added it because it probably lets them add a new champion to the game and it lets them play homage to another popular character of the game. That said, Mel's own storyline has the potential to tie nicely with the main plotline:
a) Mel's disappearance does in fact have an impact on the narrative, i.e. it lets Medarda do as she pleases in Piltover. If Mel were around, there is no way she would have let her mother establish Martial Law without a fight. I think Mel could have also had a positive influence on Cait. Not only that, but Medarda's love for Mel humanizes her character and gives more depth to her relationship with Caitlyn. It is obvious Medarda and Cait's bond is one where they are projecting on the other a loved one. Cait finds a new mentor figure/mother after Cassandra's death. Medarda finds a new mentee figure/daughter after Mel's disappearance. They are not mother and daughter, but they project on each other a need they both feel, as they are both grieving.
b) Mel has always been linked to Jayce and Viktor's B plot aka Arcane plot, as she, Viktor and Jayce are the ones who created HexTech. This season Viktor and Jayce have both "touched" the Arcane, which has traumatized them in opposite ways. In a sense, they have both lost their humanity in the pursue of progress. Moreover, they have both become entangled with magic. Well, even if I know very little of LOL Lore, I think it is safe to assume Mel inherited some kind of magical ability. The fact she is trapped in some kind of magical dimension where she has to decipher old runes makes me believe her experience is not very different from Viktor and Jayce, thematically. They all pursued progress through science, only to now face something of wild and irrational. Also, Mel being the one with the higher magical potential among the trio could be pretty interesting.
2 - I would not have wanted Vander to come back in any other series and was skeptical about the choice of having him be Warwick. That said, I also understand it makes a very interesting background for the champion, so I understand why they made this decision. What's more, I actually like a lot how he has been used. Instead of being reduced to a simple agent of chaos, he has been used as a catalyst in Vi and Jinx's arcs.
Basically, they are taking choices, I would not recommend in any other story. However, they are making them work pretty well both for Arcane and for LOL.
Second thing to clarify
It is true Arcane is an ensembled cast and it balanced different pov rather well in season 1. However, this does not mean that ALL characters have the same importance. I think both season 1 and this season so far have made very clear that the story has ONE main character, that is Jinx:
She is the one given the major focus BY FAR.
The whole first season is her journey to become the Jinx in the games, which is symbolically why the season ends with her embracing this alterego. Every other major character's plotline in the main A plot is after all tied to her. Vi wants to save her. Silco wants to control her. Caitlyn wants to arrest her. She is the reason why Cait and Vi meet each other in the first place. Not to count she also unwillingly kicks off the B plotline by having Jayce's research come to light.
The second season so far has revolved around her, as well. This time she is going through a journey, where she tries to fix what she has broken. At the same time, she has to accept the consequences of her own actions. She grieves Silco, connects with Sevika, adopts Isha and tries to mend her relationship with Vi. Meanwhile, all the other major characters are impacted by her. She is at the centre of the conflict between Vi and Cait, for example. She is the one who almost kills Viktor, so that Jayce tries to resurrect him. Finally, she becomes the centre of the major conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
In short, I think it is fair for people to be annoyed their faves are not receiving the screentime or focus, they had hoped. However, I think that so far the series has been coherent in keeping Jinx at its center. We'll see if it will be so for the ending, as well.
Finally, I don't think Vi and Cait's relationship was ruined. I think the conflict among Vi, Cait and Jinx is actually my favourite part of this season. I will add that their conflict is actually a mirror of the first season:
Season 1 has the first act focused on Vi's relationship with Powder and it ends with their separation / Season 2 has the first act focused on Vi's relationship with Cait and it ends with their separation
Season 1 has the second act focused on Vi and Cait's relationship, as Vi looks for her family / Season 2 has the second act focused on Vi and Jinx's relationship, as they look for their family. Both relationships start as conflictual and slowly grow better
In season 1's third act, Vi fails to reconcile her relationship with Cait with the one with Jinx. We'll see if in the final act of season 2, she will fare better.
In short, it has never been only Vi and Cait, but always Vi, Cait and Jinx, as her lover and her sister represent two different sides of Vi. Just like Jinx has to reconcile both Jinx and Powder, so Vi has to reconcile both Jinx and Cait. Similarly, Cait needs to reconcile Vi and Jinx as two parts of Zaun.
In conclusion, I do agree that there are a little bit too many storylines, some of which might feel out of the blue. I also understand people wanted some characters to be explored more. However, I also think they are doing a great job at telling the story they want to tell and they are giving the viewers all the elements to understands the characters' developments. Surely, it would have been great to have some dynamics and psychologies explored more, but the writing level stays pretty high.
This does not mean you should like it, though. You probably were more interested in some dynamics and storylines that ended up being sidelined and it is totally valid to be annoyed by it.
Thank you for the ask!

PLL 1x01 Review (Per Anon Request)
"I'm loving her new video." "Maybe a little too much, huh?" Allison, I already want to kill you.
"I've looked everywhere for her. I think I heard her scream" she says calmly.
I love that the newspaper headline is "Still Missing" and not something like "The Search Continues" "Still Looking for Answers"
PIPER.
They do look like they'd be mother and daughter.
Which network is this show?
"They're calling it the anniversary of Allison's disappearance like it's a party or something" I mean, does it sound like that?
Arya looks like her name should be Effy.
They're speaking like it's been a few months and not a year.
Why do they ALWAYS play lacrosse?
"Dad, I'm still keeping your secret, OK?" she says at normal volume in the middle of the house.
"Would now be 16" L O L. These "missing" signs are KILLING me.
"And I write too" of course she fucking writes.
"You're smart" how do you know? You said 3 things to this underage girl.
This bathroom makeout is impersonal and choreographed and it annoys me because if you two are so hot for each other that you have to make out in a public restroom, then it's this hot and heavy, grope-y type thing, it's not this teehee sit on the sink while we smile at each other. Public restrooms are disgusting.
It's also weird that they chose to cut to the theme song after this flat bathroom makeout and not after Allison goes missing??
Wait, who is this blonde girl? I thought this was a flashback. Guys, straight up, I'm not going to be able to tell these two apart that well
"Remember what she said that night about secrets?" YOU ARE ACTING LIKE IT'S BEEN A FEW MONTHS.
Spencer's blazer is pissing me off.
Maybe your dad cheated on your mom as karma for you being a bitch to Mona.
Her dad couldn't even be an adult about his affair? Get a room.
None of these people are talking like they're actual people.
"They're not so close anymore either." "So they're friendly but not friends" oh my lord, I miss season 1 Caroline.
"Holy crap" *as he looks directly at Aria in front of the ENTIRE class* NO ONE IS REACTING LIKE PEOPLE WOULD.
BIANCA.
Girl, you're just standing there holding this basket.
LMAO. "Would you kill me if I smoke a little weed? Would you like to join me?" Did any of these writers smoke weed?
Aww, Torey.
She is a teenager, Ren.
YOU ARE IN THE SCHOOL. All of these characters are idiots.
"You feel like this is right for us too" you two said TWO THINGS to each other and made out in a washroom???
Oh are you going to massage her shoulder.
Yes.
Piper, go find Leo. Sure, he'll leave you to be a a head angel but he would never cheat.
I never understood the Queen Bee Mean Girl in a group mostly because in my experience, the GROUP of girls are mean and there may be a leader but it's not one girl terrorizing her entire group of friends and everyone just taking it because
it's usually the group terrorizing that one friend in the group, idk.
And since Allison is so herself, why would any of you tell her any of your secrets anyway?
So weird, they're acting like it's been a few months since the disappearance not a year and yet they act like they don't know each other at all.
Wouldn't it be enough to send a uniform for shoplifting?
"In Rosewood, you don't have room to make a mistake" bro, I need to SEE this. Why is FNL and, like, True Blood the only shows I can remember who actually do what a small town feels like well?
When do they do that dramatic walk in the hallway and act like it's a runway?
Hanna eating ice cream and watching the news of her friend's death is actually hilariously morbid.
And you're just going to watch your mother makeout with the cop?
And your mother is just going to look at you as she goes upstairs to have sex with him? Would you not send your daughter away?
The school isn't having an assembly about this death or anything?
"For Alison or for being a jerk?" I mean, he is a grown ass man, Aria.
This dramatic turn and kiss doesn't make sense right now. None of this is earned.
Does the mother care that her child is "dead"? "Aria, thanks for coming!" It's a funeral not a housewarming.
Maya is the only one who is trying to look sad.
L M A O, Aria's mom couldn't even go with her daughter to the funeral?? Jesus christ, teen shows, give them parents or don't.
These forever 21 funeral dresses are SENDING me.
Detective, they are MINORS, you will have to speak to their parents.
The "Na na na na na na na" singing in the background is so unserious.
"and I know everything, A" in UNISON??? L O L this is so bad.

Growing up as an only child people would always like talking to me and say I’m nice and generous then when they found out that I’m an only child they’d tell me “oh so you’re spoiled and don’t know how to share?”. And it was always so frustrating because why would I be spoiled? Yes both of my parents attention was only on me but they raised me right? And I’ve met people that are spoiled and not brats, like spoiled brat and spoiled are two different things.
And I love sharing and always have bc I never had anyone to share with so I like letting other people use my stuff. One of my friends that I did so many things for all of middle school (I gave her homework answers, pencils, erasers, bandaids, some of my lunch, gum, etc) told me that I don’t know how to share because I’m an only child. We’re not friends anymore because at one point she started rushing me to do my work so she could copy and she would not let me concentrate and she wouldn’t copy my shit while I was doing it and then she’d get mad at me because she was failing. But anyway, I was a little mad because you KNOW me, but you’re just gonna say that because why, exactly? It was like people were always telling me what I should be like and telling me that I don’t understand any childhood experiences.
And then I get told I must not know how to compromise just because I’m an only child? Like what? I will do anything to please you so what the hell are you talking about.
And people go on rants saying that parents need to start having more than two children because they hate only children. I’ve seen this so many times and it makes me a little sad because my parents tried, okay? Generalizing is not cool. They’ll hate only children just because they had a bad experience with someone that happened to be an only child. And then I’ll make friends with someone and when they find out I’m an only child they’ll tell me they never would’ve guessed because they hate only children. Thanks, I guess?
“You must not have a very good family bond” uhh why? My cousins are the closest thing I ever had as siblings growing up and I genuinely don’t understand when they would say this because it doesn’t mean I can’t bond with people my age.
“You probably get everything you want” i was told this just because I bought a new notebook when my old one ran out of pages. Again, what is the thought process here because it’s not like I can ask for anything and get it just because I’m the only kid my parents have.
I would say I’m lonely and want a sister and people would get straight up mad at me. “No you don’t you’re lucky” and you think there aren’t things I want that you have too? I literally feel so alone 24/7 but I guess I’m not allowed to feel that because at least I get privacy.
They also always assume I’m rich. I am very much not rich and I did have friends that lived in bigger houses and it made me so insecure about mine. Idk what it is about assuming only children are rich. I wish being an only child came with that bc then I’d never complain again. But unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.
Anyways. This was a random rant. I just remembered that I would get so frustrated because I would literally cry from the fact that I didn’t have a best friend or someone like a sibling to talk to, and then I’d be told my feelings weren’t valid. I know this is such a non issue, but just sharing I guess.
#idk it’s midnight#can’t sleep#and I’m feeling lonely and this was the result#I might go crazy if I can’t find a best friend that will call me their best friend back#everyone seems to have their person but me and that’s not fair#only child#only child core#if anyone gets mad bc they can’t handle someone has a different experience I swear#rant#midnight rant#random post#and when my parents die I’ll be alone#I literally cry thinking of it#and I either live up to their expectations or literally nothing else bc J haven’t really thought of a plan b#all the pressure is on me and that kind of sucks#only child culture#only kid things#but yeah call me spoiled just because my parents couldn’t reproduce another offspring#the fact that I’m so scared to not be okay because my parents only have one daughter#I’m trying so hard to make it worth it#only child experience#spoiled brat#according to everyone#eldest child#middle child#and when they say ‘attention whore’ as if said attention doesn’t feel like being under a microscope sometimes

listen, i absolutely get ramon not wanting to talk to sunny & feeling hurt/betrayed by her helping tubbo
like, i'd hazard he might even feel more betrayed by them than tubbo himself—bc sunny & ramon probably talked about what family meant to him (during their sleepovers or something) and ramon has no insight into why they'd do that whereas tubbo, for all his actions have hurt ramon, very clearly has the emotional capacity of a wet paper plate and issues running deeper than marianas trench
but that makes it all the more heart wrenching that he won't hear her out (and you can see in the backgrounds of vods her multiple attempts over several days to get his attention just to be rebuffed) bc i bet if she could explain herself even a little things could be so different
it reminds of the situation from the other week where sunny wasn't talking with em and tubbo tried to explain that, even if you're mad at them, suddenly stopping talking to someone you love could make them feel awful and worse than you intended
and that is what's happening to sunny. it's miserable to see bc she was already so isolated and ramon, as her big brother, is someone she put a lot of trust in to be there for her and listen to her and it must feel to her like that was an empty promise to have him not even hearing her out.
and it's particularly tragic bc sunny didn't even want to mess with fit and pac. yes, she was "tempted" to aid tubbo in his quest, but I really don't think it was bc she was actually worried about being left behind when she agreed. i think she could tell tubbo was scared and hurting and not ready to accept the change and didn't want him to be alone. she didn't really have another option and every adult can see that but ramon is young and blinded by his hurt
and now sunny is left feeling abandoned and forgotten and replaced and it's exactly what their pa said would happen; self fulfilling prophecy :(
#qsmp sunny#qsmp ramon#and it IS tubbo's fault#but the trust fractured between sunny and ramon isn't something I think he can fix#they need to talk themselves#he's set his own daughter up to experience exactly what he feared#and the extra sad thing is that his base fears weren't even misplaced#the morning crew dynamics are shifting with the relationship and with the return of mike and addition of bagi#and they are the most vulnerable to being left behind#and he lashed out bc of it but sunny is accidentally suffering the most#where ramon got a huge explosion of family sunny just got more isolated#where everyone can see tubbo's insecurities a mile off sunny's are more hidden#where tubbo can talk his mouth off sunny's voice is silenced just by looking away from her#like she's SO vulnerable#i am going insane thinking about how vulnerable she is it's so horrible#qtubbo please i know ur just a mentally ill 20yo crying for help but she needs so much support and ur the only one there#qsmp
