Danny Phantom Fanfic
BEHOLD: My first finished fic for my first-ever fandom!
Contains: light body horror, Ghost King Danny Fenton, meddling Clockwork who is unfathomably old, and Danny being soooooo sleepytired.
Opening lines:
“Can anybody get a clear shot on that ghost!” Mrs. Fenton screeched.
“Uh, I’ve got it Mrs. Fenton!” Sam shouted back, not bothering to sound confident at all. Because she wasn’t. Fiddling with the unwieldy gun, all she could think was: Why did everything the Fentons make have to be so damn huge?!
Sam took aim. She really hoped this wasn’t one of their inventions that vaporized ghosts on contact. Mrs. Fenton had said that it was to “capture them for live study,” but with the Fentons, you never knew.
The black-and-white blur lined up perfectly in the crosshairs, caught between the lines like an exclamation point.
She fired.

Lucifer Morningstar x Reader Romance Headcanons
Some very random and very silly little headcanons about being in a relationship with the King of Hell, and likely the beginning of many more as I learn how to write for this darling cartoon that has consumed my entire brain.
- He's one of the greatest flirts of all time, but with one enormous caveat: he has no ability to consciously flirt with anyone he's interested in. Quips and charming smiles come easy when he wants to banter with friends or taunt a foe, but when he starts to get feelings for you and actually attempts to be smooth, everything falls apart. All traces of his grace, power, and quick wit evaporate the instant he pulls his first move, and it only worsens the more flustered he becomes. His first attempt goes so badly that by the end more than a few things are on fire, and neither of you is entirely sure how. Thankfully, your receptiveness despite the disasters will build his confidence; and while he's never quite as smooth as when he's not trying, he does learn to make use of his charms whenever the moment calls for it.
- While at first he'll keep your relationship on the extreme down low, to the point of avoiding public dates and shows of affection, this is only so he can take the time to be sure you know and can fully agree to what you're getting into. Dating Lucifer Morningstar comes with a great many risks that don't ever go away, and he needs you to understand that while he'll do anything to keep you safe, your life will change forever once word gets out. The people of Hell are going to want to know all about their King's new lover, and he has more than a few enemies on multiple planes of existence you'll have to be wary of. As soon as he's convinced you're aware of the risks and accept them regardless, be prepared for him to make up for lost time and then some. He wants to take you on dates to Hell's most premier establishments, to have you on his arm for every single public appearance, and to proudly and boldly declare you to be his love whenever the opportunity presents itself.
- Genuine compliments go a long way with this man. Though he's got a very healthy sense of pride, he still very much enjoys praise, to the point of nearly giddy delight if he gets it from someone he's crushing on. This goes double if you catch him off guard. Expressing your awe when he unceremoniously summons a mundane item out of thin air will fluster him far more readily than even the most lascivious of flirtations, and he'll be riding the emotional high for the better part of a week. Praising his appearance has an even greater impact, and nothing puts a spring in his step quite like hearing how much you like his hair.
- Touch is one of his preferred love languages, second only to gifts and song. He likes to give as much as he does to receive, but as he's a little starved for affection, you'll find him very disproportionately affected by even the most chaste contact. The first time you try looping your arm through his, laying a hand on his shoulder, and even brushing up to his side he'll be deliriously happy. Once the gates are open, however, you can expect him to start initiating and upping the ante quite rapidly. He'll start taking your hand when it's available, cupping the small of your back as you walk at his side, and even pulling you in with his wings for a feathery embrace, and he doesn't stop there. Eventually, if you're amicable, he'll gladly offer his lap anytime you need a seat. This goes double if you're in public.
- Giving gifts is one of his favorite ways to express affection, but he doesn't just do so willy nilly, even if anything you could ask for will be provided in a heartbeat. Rather, he likes to surprise you by gifting something that you didn't even know you needed, and will spend a great deal of time noting what you need help with and drafting ideas to meet that need until he has the perfect solution. Being a craftsman with eons of experience and angelic powers means he can construct anything in the realm of imagination, and he'll use his skills to tune his creation to your particular tastes. All of this is done in secret to ensure you're surprised when he finally presents his creation. No matter how many hours he spends laboring over these gifts, your surprise and joy always makes it all worth it in the end.

Can We? an au lucifer x reader oneshot
Author Profile a/n: SURPRISEEEEEE. i got 'we become we' -journey to jerusalem song on a loop since i found it and i knew i wasn't gonna get it out of my system unless i do something about it. so pls enjoy my ramblings lmfao word count: 1200+
"Your Majesty, please reconsider this! Our kingdom needs a Queen!"
Lucifer sighs at the aide's words, feeling irritated with the insistent suggestion of a Queen.
"I agree, your majesty. The people are quite worried for you. You need an heir, and you aren't getting any younger either," another aide jumps in.
Lucifer surrenders to them with hands in the air in exasperation and finally replies, "Fine."
The people in the room sigh in relief that they somehow got through to him. But hitch their breath when he adds on.
"However, I won't just choose anyone. Only the best candidate will stand by my side and be rightfully called the Queen," he glares.
"Good day, your majesty. My name is (full name), Princess of the Eastern Kingdom. I'm grateful for this opportunity," you smile amiably.
"Likewise," he responds quite honestly shocked from your tone.
You were the guest that was expected to arrive at the palace after receiving the invitation to be a Queen candidate. However, after word got around that you will be joining the fight for the title. All the ladies mutually agreed to resign. When he asked why, all the aide's replies were, "There is no other person worthy to be by your side other than the Princess."
Now, you stood in front of him. You were dressed beautifully, but not as extravagant as those ladies that came before him. You had a melodic tone in your voice that was pleasant to the ear. Your hands folded together gracefully. Everything about you was enchanting.
You tilt your head confused about his speechlessness. "Did I catch you in the wrong time?" you ask him.
His cheeks reddened, embarrassed that you left him dazed just from your introduction alone.
"No no," he excuses then coughs to get a grip on himself, "I apologize. I must have been tired from all the work this morning."
You give him an understanding smile and reply, "No apologies needed, your majesty. I feel honored to be here and see how hard you work. I'm sure this kingdom is grateful to have such a diligent King."
His blush intensifies from your non-stop flattery. He's heard many compliments in his life for his achievements. However, when you were the one saying those words. He can't help but believe it was all true with how genuine you sounded.
"Please, I'm quite embarrassed to hear such words from you, Princess. I've heard many tales of your acts of charity for your and other neighboring kingdoms. You've paved the way for others to follow in your example and gave a chance for the poor, homeless and orphaned," he redirected trying to calm his flaring cheeks.
He was pleasantly surprised at your reaction.
"P-Please! You've heard of that? Oh, I'm embarrassed! I hope only good thing reached your ears," you stumbled over your words when the attention turned back to you.
He laughs at you as you tried to hide behind your hair as you also flushed red. 'For someone, who gives out so many compliments. She can't even handle a couple of her own.'
'This wasn't such a bad idea,' he thought as he watched as you smile and continue talking to him.
"(Y/n), can I ask you something?" he says sitting at the edge of the bed where you sat beside while reading a book.
It had been several weeks since your marriage and it's been quite busy for the both of you as you adjusted to your married life. Lucifer finished paperwork for his projects and formal preparations for your ascension to your rights as the new Queen. Thankfully, it had finally calmed down and now you helped him with his work and even the inner management of the castle.
You have shared the room since the beginning, and you've already shared your first night as husband and wife together. Which was.. quite passionate to say the least. But, after both of you would wake up earlier or later than the other, too considerate to wake up the other from their well-earned rest. So, now that it has finally calmed down and Lucifer approached you. You couldn't help but feel nervous.
"Of course, anything," you reply putting away the book and taking his hand in yours.
He smiles and gains courage as he caresses your hand back and says, "Are you okay with this arrangement?"
You tilt your head unsure of the meaning, "About what?"
"This," he gestures to the both of you, "are you okay about our marriage?"
You huff out a laugh relieved, you thought it was a life or death situation, "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"
He shrugs and replies, "I don't know. I just thought you were having doubts about us."
You give him a meaningful look and stood up from your spot. You then tugged him to stand with you. You made him hold your waist and hand while you placed yours on his shoulder. You led him into a slow dance with a smile on your face.
"Remember, our dance together?" you asked.
"At the wedding?" he asks.
You shook your head and laughed, "We danced one together way before that. That night where we shared the stars together."
His eyes lit up, remembering that night.
"During that dance, I thought that being with you will be worthwhile. And if wherever this choice leads me. I won't regret being with you, Lucifer," you say with a deep look in your eyes.
His eyes soften as he gazed at you. You were nothing but wonderful to him, it was childish of him to assume you were having doubts. He should have trusted you and made you happy instead. You deserve nothing less than that.
"Can we become more Than half of a union we're chosen for?"
He sings as he pulls you closer to him.
"Where I am your best half And I am yours,"
You continue with a huge smile on your face as you followed his lead, gliding around the room.
"Stuck here forever And hopefully not ending in estrangement,"
You sang together faces inching towards each other with half lidded eyes.
"Can mine become yours Combining our dreams Without keeping score?"
You twirled around the room with him catching you. He opens the door and leads you out into the halls where you continued your dance.
"Always together, but never bored No choice in the matter but This will never work without each other,"
The both of you laugh like children as you chased each other down the halls.
"Can we become we? (Can we become we?) Start a new line on this family tree,"
He catches up to you and lifts you off the ground and kisses your cheek with a hearty chuckle from your deviousness.
"Two hearts connected by one beat, Your hand in mine and,"
You beam him a smile as you placed your hands on his chest feeling the rhythmic thumping of his heart from chasing you around.
"I could never choose to love another," Lucifer whispers as he pulls you into a kiss which you return with fervor.
After minutes of kissing one another, he places you down and hold your waist as places another kiss on your temple with a beaming smile. You return it and let him lead you back to your room.
"Maybe one day I can learn to love you, too," you whisper as you gave a passing gaze at the portrait of a blonde woman with her face covered with a large cloth.

𝐘/𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐓 listening to Luffy and Usopp talk, while Zoro walked around in the room as if he was searching for something. Y/n listened to how Usopp talked about Kaya, it was sweet it was also very obvious he had feelings for her.
"She's more like my...best friend. Her parents died a few years ago she took it pretty hard. Then she got sick on top of that I just wanna be there for her ya'know." Y/n nodded in understanding.
Zoro spoke "reminds me of some people I know..." he glanced at Y/n who had her head resting on Luffy's shoulder his arm wrapped around her.
Usopp continued to talk getting lost in thought "she's gorgeous, and she's super smart, she has the best laugh. I mean...you don't think she like, like likes me. do you?" he asked, Zoro glanced around "you're asking the wrong guy" Y/n chuckled tiredly.
"I-I mean you'll never k-know unless you ask." she shrugged, he turned to her "well if you were Kaya would you like me?" Y/n nodded her head, Luffy cut in "I already like you!" Usopp laughed "that's not what I...nevermind" Y/n slowly got up "i'm gonna go to bed now...bye guys" Usopp waved towards her, Zoro muttered a small goodbye while Luffy frowned "already?"
She nodded "i'm t-tired you'll see me in the morning." he got up and hugged her tightly she hugged back before letting go. Luffy watched her walk away with a smile, she gave them one last smile before leaving the room.
Usopp stared at them "are you two...dating?.." Luffy turned and looked at Usopp his head tilted "hm? no." he shook his head, Usopp raised a brow "you sure that was..." Zoro cut him off "strange?...yeah you should see how they sleep." Usopp cocked his head to the side waiting for him to explain "sleeps with his head between her legs" he stated flatly.
Usopp snapped his head over to Luffy "what?!" Luffy shrugged not thinking much about it "I can't help it if she's comfortable!" he defended, Usopp blinked in shock.
Y/n walked down the hallway rubbing her eyes tiredly, a yawned escaped her lips. Unexpectedly she bumped into someone "hm? Oh I'm sorry Klahadore I didn't see you there." He looked at her a small sneer on his face before it faded away "it's alright I should have kept better watch Ms....." he trailed off.
"Oh! I'm Y/n Angelfish."
"Ms.Angelfish, are you lost?" Her fins glowed a bit in embarrassment "y-yes I was looking for m-my room." She agreed, Klahadore carefully placed a hand on her back.
She shifted uncomfortably "this way Ms.Angelfish." He lead her down the hall to her room.
"I've heard much about you Ms.Angelfish..." Y/n tilted her head "most people think everyone i-in the Angelfish family died."
Klahadore scoffed lightly "well news got out that someone survived, and with you joining a band of low level pirates you've certainly made a name for yourself." He stated.
Blinking she nodded "well I-I guess that makes sense." while they walked down the hall Klahadore looked at her necklace "if I must say your necklace is quite beautiful." looking down she touched it "thank you, it was my mothers..." she muttered, Klahadore nodded "hm i'm sure she was a wonderful woman." he stated.
Y/n looked down "I never....I never actually met her before" Klahadore blinked "oh my apologies." she waved him off "it's alright, but i'll be going now goodnight" She muttered going into her room. Klahadore stared at her "goodnight Ms.Angelfish." his tone creeped her out as she shut the door.
Going over to her bed she noticed her jars were gone, "hm?" looking around the room all her stuff was there but her jars "did I leave them in the bathroom?" opening the door she peeked her head out of her room "where was the bathroom again?" sighing she left her room.
Walking around Y/n huffed in frustration"where is it?" she was about to turn a corner when she spotted Sham and Buchi carrying Luffy who was passed out.
Quickly hiding behind the corner she listened to their conversation "where are we going to dump his body?" Sham scoffed "is your blubber cutting off the oxygen to your brain? we're taking him to the well." Y/n gasped softly but not loud enough to catch their attention.
"Now come on before someone sees us." Sham commented, Y/n could hear them dragging his body further closer to where she was. Backing up she felt her heart pump as she quickly went to find the others "gotta find Zoro" gripping her necklace for comfort she felt herself bump into someone.
Frozen in place Y/n didn't dare turn around "my, my Ms.Angelfish you mustin be wondering around at this hour..." snapping around she backed away "what did you do to Luffy!" Sham and Buchi came over "he just stuck his nose where it didn't belong." looking for a way out Y/n's eyes darted around frantically.
"What's the matter? Oh my you're starting to look like a fish out of water."
Turning around Y/n slammed her knee into Buchi's stomach running past him, Klahadore huffed in annoyance, appearing in front of her Y/n stumbled to a hault. He tilted his hand "I wonder if that necklace is as special as they say?" Y/n grabbed it tucking it into her shirt "no..." he cracked a smile snatching it off of her gripping it tightly in his hand.
"Don't touch th-" he had chopped her neck causing her to blackout dropping to the ground. "I'll deal with her you both clean this mess."
Sham and Buchi continued on with their task, as Klahadore picked Y/n up taking her to the farthest place in the house.
He tucked her away "i'll deal with you later." placing her necklace in his pocket he walked away to find Kaya.
Nami explained what had happened Kaya listening in disbelief, "we need to leave now. Or we'll die." Kaya hesitated a bit before nodded, Usopp thought for a moment "what about Y/n?" Nami paused "shit. i'll look for her you guys go. now." Usopp grabbed Kayas hand dragging her away as Nami quickly left.
Y/n felt sluggish as her body was terribly weak. Looking around she saw the room was dark reaching to touch her necklace Y/n didn't feel anything. Upon realizing her necklace was gone she could feel panic flood her system, "no, no, no,no" going to stand up she realized she couldn't feel her legs placing her hands where her legs should be she felt a tail.
Groaning she looked around "what am I gonna do?" dragging herself to sit up she looked around for an exit. She stopped "ok think...." touching her tail she tried to congure up some type of power without her necklace but nothing happened.
She tried again.
Still nothing.
Cursing under her breath Y/n thought about the time she had used some type of magic without the use of her necklace. That purple glow that came from her palm when she tried to open the door that was sealed shut holding all her family jewels.
Focusing her energy on making that purple glow again she shut her eyes "okay....you can do this...." a small spark of light came from her hands, then another, then another.
pressing her hands against her tail she could feel a weird pulling sensation, she could see her scales disappearing turning to skin, a gap had started to form as she slowly pulled her legs apart, a few seconds of struggling her tail was gone.
her legs were there but a few patches of her legs had scales slowly standing up Y/n took a deep breath again "okay. I did it!" she went to grab the door handle to open it but it didn't open. Pulling it again the door still didn't budge "dang it!" Slamming her heel into the door it didn't move.
She tried it again.
It still didn't move.
Y/n had failed to hear the foot steps coming closer to where she was at. "Okay one last time." standing back the mermaid took in a deep breath and was about to shoulder charge the door when it suddenly opened causing her to slam into whoever had opened the door.
Falling on the ground she peeked down seeing a familiar orange haired friend "oh! Nami are you okay?!" carefully getting off of her Y/n gulped as Nami slowly sat up "yep just peachy" standing up Nami looked at Y/n "where's your necklace?" Y/n sighed.
"That creepy butler took it." Nami remembered to the two "wait! Y/n we gotta go help Kaya and Usopp follow me." grabbing Y/n's hand she rushed to the room Kaya and Usopp were in.
Usopp was on the ground as Kaya stood with a blade to her neck. Just as Klahadore now revealed as Kuro captain of the black cat pirates raised his hands to kill the girl a harsh crack of a whip stopped him. He grabbed the back of his neck turning around sharply "you." Y/n glanced behind the male to look at Kaya "are you alright" she nodded shuffling back.
Kuro stared at the girl "I should have just killed you." Y/n didn't care for his words only in getting her things back "give me my necklace back" she stated, Kuro smirked at her "you know i'm a bit disappointed." he stared, "I've heard many things about this necklace well you family jewels overall. they each have special abilities, but this thing hasn't done a single special thing yet." he stated.
Y/n stared at him "because it only works for people in my family." she corrected "for any other human it would just be a simple piece of jewelry that's worth a fortune." Kuro cocked his head to the side "hm well that's unfortunate without this necklace you are nothing. Once again very disappointing for you Ms.Angelfish, the one and only person to survive that horrible massacre and you still couldn't keep the one most important thing in your family bloodline safe." Nami looked at Y/n in worry as she gripped the handle of her whip tighter.
"Give me back my necklace."
She repeated staring at the male ignoring the growing emotional pain in her heart. Kuro sighed "you want this so bad? then come get it." Y/n rushed towards him only for him to disappear. Reappearing behind her and slicing her side despite the pain the girl swung her elbow back missing the male by just a hair. He disappeared again for a moment Y/n looking around as Nami hurried over to Kaya and Usopp.
Y/n felt another slice, then another, then another, all of the cuts happening at once. Just as Kuro had stood behind her knives out ready to stab her in the back a hand stopped him. Turning around he saw Luffy.
"Those are my friends, you don't mess with them." he stated, Y/n backed away "are you guys okay?" she asked, they nodded rapidly "are you okay?" Kaya asked, Y/n nodded "it's only a few scratches i'll be fine."
Kuro and Luffy began to fight, "so you think you want to be a pirate?" Kuro commented, Luffy looked around trying to find the male "I am a pirate." Kuro laughed at his statement. appearing behind him Kuro asked "and how long have you been on the seas, hm? a week, a month?"
Y/n gulped trying to stabilize herself so her legs wouldn't turn back into a tail.
"I'm done talking, now i'm listening."
Focusing on his surroundings Luffy had punched behind a pillar knocking Kuro down. Kuro was stunned for a few seconds before getting up Luffy smirking "didn't plan on that did you?"
Slowly walking up to Luffy Kuro had a disgusted look on his face.
Usopp tapped you "Y/n. look." he pointed to your necklace which was now laying on the floor, while Kuro and Luffy fought Y/n took the opportunity to crawl over to grab her necklace. Sneaking past the two Y/n snatched up her necklace holding it close to her chest.
"Gum gum! Bell!"
Kuro was sent flying out of the window, sliding on her necklace it glowed purple before going back to it's original color.
Usopp shouted in celebration, Y/n stood up feeling herself balance out looking (mostly) human again. Hugging the male Y/n sighed "you're okay. good." she laughed, happy her friends were alright.
Leaving the room the group went out to the front door seeing Zoro opening the door and lifting the shudders, "Zoro you're okay too!" Y/n cheered happily.
A tiny smirk played on Zoro's face "yeah sorry about the mess. Looks like you'll need new staff." he spoke staring at the two tied up.
"I think i'm done with staff for a while."
Zoro sighed "too bad we can't collect their bounties." Nami shook her head "no the Marines already know where we are we have to leave." Luffy looked at her "but we don't even have a ship?" Y/n nodded in agreement.
Kaya thought for a second before speaking "yes, you do." everyone looked at her knowing what she was implying.
"Yay!" Running on deck Y/n laughed "finally we have an actual ship!" Y/n didn't wait for the others to join on the ship as she was too excited, she ignored the others as they said their goodbyes.
"Y/n! come and say goodbye"
Y/n didn't want to leave the ship but she did anyway, it would be impolite to not say her farewells. Hugging Usopp and Kaya Y/n wished both of them well before she was about to run back on the ship when Nami stopped her.
"Calm down Angel the ship isn't going anywhere." Nami stated, Y/n frowned a small bounce in her step as she waited.
"Come on Usopp. Get your stuff." Luffy said a grin on his face, Usopp looked back at him confused "what..." once he realized what Luffy meant he shook his head "oh no...I can't-" Zoro cut in "just come on already." Y/n nodded her head rapidly.
"I couldn't leave syrup village..."
Usopp spoke with Kaya sad to say goodbye to his best friend.
But on went their new adventure. Y/n exploring the ship, placing her things down in a medium sized room she called her own. Plopping down Y/n took in a deep breath happy to finally call a place her own.

They meet again between life and death, in a place called the Limbo.
This time, Harry does not wake up in the pure-white King’s Cross he so often revisits in his memory. He’s back at the Dursleys’, locked inside his cupboard again. And someone’s banging hard on the door.
No, he thinks in despair. Not Uncle Vernon.
‘Open up!’ But the voice is too high to be his uncle’s, Harry dimly notes; and the accent way too rough to be Dudley’s either. ‘We’re running out of time!’
‘Door’s locked from the outside,’ Harry says wearily. ‘Who’s there?’
‘Use your magic, you daft mug. And it’s Riddle you’re speaking to.’
The lever is met with resistance when Harry turns the handle. But Riddle’s right. Harry pushes his magic through the keyhole – Alohomora – and the lock clicks open.
Riddle is eleven, and so is Harry now, it seems. He takes a look at Harry – a dead spider caught on his shoulder, his too-large t-shirt full of holes – and curls his lips with derision.
‘So that’s how you’ve been using your magic?’
Harry ignores him. He leads the way out onto the empty street. As they walk past the trimmed hedges and boring gardens, Riddle tries to get him to talk again. ‘A wizard called Dumbledore says I should find you, says you know the way,’ he prompts.
‘Did he?’ Harry is briefly taken aback. ‘Where to?’
‘To the new place, of course.’ Riddle shoots him a dubious glance. ‘You’d better not be giving me the runaround.’
‘I’m not,’ Harry says, wondering why Dumbledore still enjoys complicating matters this much, even in death. ‘In any case if we’re going anywhere, I think we ought to head over to King’s Cross Station first …’
‘King’s Cross? That’s in London, that’s where I come from,’ Riddle exclaims.
As if fuelled by the information, he grabs Harry by the wrist and begins to sprint down the street; all the while, he talks and talks.
‘… and I grew up in Whitechapel. Wool’s Orphanage, if you must know. A soft touch like you wouldn’t have lasted a day there, Harry.’
Harry shakes his head, exasperated. It has just occurred to him that they needn’t run at all. It’s the Limbo; they could probably teleport themselves wherever they liked. But they’re going so fast now it’s all Harry can focus his mind on: the speed, the wind in his hair and Riddle, his small, cold hand holding Harry’s.
It’s almost like flying. Harry can feel himself becoming lighter with each step forward, with each memory left behind. He forgets his own death – the second one … then the first – he forgets the horrors of the war and the people he lost.
Around them, the tidy suburban streets of Surrey blur, blend, into the cobblestoned confusion that is the East End, which Riddle navigates with the elegance of an alley cat.
‘We’re almost there,’ he says, before immediately launching into another one of his dark anecdotes about the exorcist whom he’d named his archnemesis since he was six.
Harry’s usually put off by gobby people, but somehow Riddle is growing on him. Maybe it's because Riddle's actually quite hilarious. Maybe it’s because of his endless energy; how vital and unapologetic he still is after being told that there’s something wrong with him his whole life.
‘I’d like to come here again sometime,’ Harry says as they outrun the old warehouses and backstreets; the red brick lanes and ivy-clad walls. ‘With you. On the other side.’
At that Riddle’s face breaks into a wide smile, a genuine one. ‘On the other side,’ he agrees, a wicked glint in his eyes. ‘Why not? I’ll show you around.’
Later, at the white platform where a train stands waiting for them, Harry finds a one-way ticket in his front pocket. On it says: 01 - SEP - 1938.

LMK S5 trailer, Chinese pantheon infodump, and some ideas
…Man, normally, I feel the urge to write fix-it AUs after rewatching episodes and coming across particularly bizarre theories and takes, not before the new season's even out.
Thanks, S5 trailer.
Consider this your spoiler warning, because the rest of this post will all be my personal opinions about a few major story beats that were revealed + the rough outline for a fix-it AU.
It's also a bit ranty, and features some criticisms of the general narrative, so if that's not your cup of tea, feel free to avoid this one.
Li Jing becoming JE/the regent of the Celestial Realm is just hilariously absurd. I mean, it makes a teeny tiny bit more sense than the "Nezha will be the new JE" fan theory, but that's not a very high bar.
1) In-universe, he had done a grand total of nothing while shit was hitting the fan, and only showed up after it was all over. Which, tbh, isn't too far from his role in FSYY. No, wait, at least in FSYY, he killed Luo Xuan via a pagoda to the head, after the guy had all his fire-based magical treasures neutralized and taken away by Princess Longji.
Yeah, congrats, LMK's Li Jing, you've somehow become even more useless than your FSYY and JTTW counterparts——which is a true feat.
2) Even if someone's making him JE/regent, it wouldn't be the Ten Kings. To put it simply: the Underworld doesn't have that authority. They are the most pathetic of all divine bureaucracies, who pretty much only show up to get pushed around and revive the occasional dead guy in JTTW (and I still love them).
Like, they ain't no Hades or Satan. Just the 10 judges of the Dead People Supreme Court. To heavily paraphrase Di Ting in the original JTTW novel:
"How much power do Underworld gods really have? (幽冥之神,能有多少法力)" "...Certainly not enough to stop a rampaging demonic macaque who's as strong as SWK, if I say the truth out loud in here and piss him off. Just send them to the Buddha, please."
An analogy: if the Celestial Host is the imperial court, the Underworld is the ministry in charge of judicial processes and prisons. They don't even have authority over the imperial censors who answer directly to the emperor, let alone the power to determine a successor to the throne during a major crisis.
If this was to make the tiniest bit of sense, Li Jing would be the one commanding THEM, not the other way around. Or if it's Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha himself giving orders to Li Jing…for some reason.
But we know that ain't happening bc of the show's strange aversion to showing Buddhist deities on screen, not to mention it would be very OOC for Ksitigarbha, whose job is granting relief and salvation to souls in the Path of Hell, not judging and punishing them like the Ten Kings.
3) If you must make Li Jing the emperor/regent, you have a more mythos-accurate and obvious choice than the Ten Kings, considering you already got the Four Divine Beasts involved!
Yes, I'm talking about their bosses, the humanoid "directional + elemental gods": Lord Father of the East (Wood), Queen Mother of the West (Metal), Emperor Zhenwu of the North (Water).
No South though...because our mythos can't agree on a single directional god of the South, but for shit and giggles, just imagine Zhurong, Yandi, Huaguang, and the Star of Fiery Virtues all sitting on the same narrow bench, staring awkwardly at each other.
Maybe we can have Ziwei, Great Emperor of the Central Sky and North Stars, who is one of the Four Sovereigns(四御) in Daoism (two of which could also be an alternate choice, but maybe a bit too obscure for foreign audiences).
He commands the stellar deities and heavenly bodies——which the Four Divine Beasts would technically fall under, as guardians of the four quadrants of the sky, each in charge of 7 Lunar Mansions.
4) But if you already have these deities, why the hell would any of them make Li Jing the regent? Wouldn't it be more likely for them to create a Celestial Council of Regents themselves, with Devaraja Li Jing under their command as the leader of what's left of the celestial army?
Like, you can still have them, or one of them, going after the gang and ordering Li Jing to put the fillet on SWK.
I can see Zhenwu the Demon-Vanquisher doing that, since the fillet isn't too different from what he did to Huaguang and a lot of the demons he subdued in JTTN: feeding them magical water/fire pills that would corrode/ignite their insides whenever they tried to resist.
(Yeah, compared to that, the fillet would look like the lenient option, since it's just pain and won't actually dissolve/cook you alive from the inside out...)
And it wouldn't be bc he thought SWK was to blame for the Brotherhood's epic fuck-up...somehow. Like, what even is that logic?!
I mean, I can kinda see the Ten Kings doing it as a pre-emptive "Don't blame us for our shitty security, blame that guy over there!" move...except they are no longer answering to any higher authorities who'd hold them responsible at that point!
"What about Li Jing?" You may ask. Yeah, WHAT ABOUT LI JING? Why does Li Jing have to get involved in this?
If he's forcing the Ten Kings to pass judgement on the gang (which surely doesn't look like it in the trailers), why's he enlisting the help of the weakest faction and not, y'know, his celestial soldiers and other gods?
If the Ten Kings get Li Jing to be their enforcer...well, how the Eighteen Hells did they manage that? What could the Ghost Supreme Court and their crappy prison-torture chamber-soul customs office complex even offer Li Jing as a bribe?
And if their goals were to avoid responsibilities by blaming someone else, how stupid did they have to be to actively involve/create a higher authority who can punish them once the cat gets out of the proverbial bag, instead of, I dunno, just stay where they are and keep their head down???
So in my fix-it AU, it's more of a "Better safe than sorry" scenario, where every demon working for the new Celestial Council must prove their loyalty via swallowing the water/fire pill, now that even more dangerous demons have escaped and are running around in the aftermath of S4.
And Great Sage and company are not exempt from that new law either——"If you are truly righteous and Not Like Them and not planning to rebel, what's there to be afraid of?"
Horrified by the Demon-Vanquishing Mansion's 16th century standards of "justice" and "mercy", they naturally would not have any of it, and thus the conflict begins.
Not only would this show the fallout of Azure's misguided rebellion——that, in trying to make a better world, he had made it 120% worse for both humanity and demonkind in less drastic and more realistic ways aside from dooming reality to irreversible destruction, it would also help with the major show-not-tell problem about Celestial cruelty bc the "good guys" in power saw no problem with this kind of shit.
If you want your lawful antagonists who take Order to its extremes, the warrior sovereign in black leading an elite army of demon-hunters + penal legions made of "reformed" demons would be a better choice than the Ghost Supreme Court, don't ya think?
(Fun fact: in Zaju plays, Zhenwu was often said to be the boss of Nezha and Erlang, so him commanding Li Jing wouldn't be too out of place either.)
Now, you may ask, why do I even care? After all, isn't it clear that the show is neither mythos-accurate nor trying to be, considering the JE got K.O.ed by a Bodhisattva's cat of all things?
Not to mention the season's not even out yet, so why jump to conclusions so quickly? Maybe the actual episodes will have explanations that make sense. Relax.
...Cause I don't mind less-than-stellar animations if the story's good, and since I keep noticing the less-than-stellar animations, it clearly isn't good enough.
Also, it's not like it's only the implications that are absurd——my problem is with the whole premise of "Li Jing becoming the new JE/Regent" and "The gang is prosecuted by the Ten Kings for bullshit reasons, even though these guys should not, and never have the power to enforce anything over SWK."
I don't like calling narrative choices "wrong" per se, and prefer to see it on a gradient of "least to most narrative potential". When it comes to adaptations, if the option that is faithful to the original work will result in a less interesting story, then I'll happily take the one that isn't as faithful and takes creative liberties, but makes a better story.
And here, I feel like being faithful to the Chinese mythos inspirations will add to the narrative potential instead of subtract from it, and the idea they come up with kinda...goes against how Chinese pantheons work, in a very simplified and "westernized" manner.
Mostly bc I am a Chinese Underworld mythos lover and think they deserve better than being ominous Hades/Grim Reaper knockoffs. And out of all the possible Chinese gods, Nezha's asshole dad is the least qualified or interesting candidate to fill in the power vaccum left by JE's death.

Chapter 8
Warnings: None. (Will however be a 18+ reader book)
Copyright: I do not own any Marvel characters or locations. However, I do own a few OCs like Elizabeth, Katherine, Stacy, and Jessie. I do not condone any copying of this.
"Beach wedding?" T'Challa questioned. "That sounds pleasant, although for you to become part of the Wakandan royalty through marriage, we'll have to do a separate special ceremony. It won't disrupt or affect the marriage bond though, so there's nothing to worry about with that."
The idea of being a Queen was still rather frightening to you.
"Beach wedding, beach wedding." Fury was singing underneath his breath with a slight wiggle of his hips. Well, he was extremely excited about the idea. Apparently he loved the beach so much, the ship that he was visiting with had a simulation so he could pretend he was at the beach.
Your sister bounded into the room, "You're on the news again Y/N!"
You shrunk into the couch you were sitting on. It had been six months since the incident. You had gotten comfortable with every person that you were soulmated to, along with their friends. Your own friends were absolutely enthralled with the idea. All three of them were invited to the wedding as well.
Once the news had gotten ahold that one, the Avengers were finally getting married, and two, it was to the girl in the record book who had eleven bonds, well the news had been covering it for almost three weeks now.
You had quit your job at this point. There was no reason to keep it. Tony kept everything you could possibly needed in the room and if you really, really needed something, he had a special card that you were supposed to use.
You very rarely spent the card. Even if Tony was a billionaire, you weren't entirely okay with spending his money if you really didn't need something.
Tony's voice brought you back to the conversation, "I was thinking that we could move into a large mansion instead of trying to continue to live in the Tower. Especially once we have kids. It would be easier to live in a house instead."
"I agree." Steve said with a nod.
"If it's far from civilization." Fury pointed out.
"Can we move back to the topic of those kids?" You asked.
Everyone looked at you.
"It's just. . . with the kids, are you guys going to care if like. . . you don't have one that isn't biologically yours? Or do you all want one that is yours or. . ." You asked.
"I don't care whose they are." Steve said with a shrug. "I'll raise all of them as my own."
Everyone agreed with that sentiment except for T'Challa. "I agree with that," He started, "However, the King of Wakanda still has to produce an heir. I hope you understand."
You nod. "Yes, of course."
T'Challa seemed relieved that you agreed so readily.
Preparations then moved forward for the wedding. Wanda invited her brother Pietro, since he would be consider family with the rest of us. Thor was inviting someone named 'Rocket' and his 'clan' who were called the Guardians of the Galaxy.
You met Agent Coulson, who was a very nice man. He, Fury, and Hill all did really seemed to get along well.
Loki and Thor were inviting a few people from New Asgard. (pretending they never died) Sif, Volstagg, Fandral, Hogun, Heimdall, and Valkyrie. Also someone people named Korg and Miek.
Clint was inviting his sister Laura and her soulmate and their kids. Sam invited his sister.
You were sure that there would be more than family there, but the biggest question for you was whether or not you invited your father to the ceremony.
You didn't think he'd cause any trouble, but at the same time, it had been a few years since you had last seen him.
"Let's go for a walk." Clint said enthusiastically.
You quickly leaped from the couch to take his hand, leaving the others behind, Sam and T'Challa being the only ones that went with you two.
It was a sunny day out and the three of you strolled across the well tended lawn of Avenger Tower.
"How overboard do you think Tony will go with the house?" You questioned.
Clint snickered, "You should see the house he got for him and Stephen. And that one is just for the two of them."
"I just don't like the idea of him spending to much money, you know?" You said.
"That's how Tony shows he cares. He does it in gifts." Clint explained. "He built Pepper an Iron Woman suit when her and Happy got married. He gave Nat and Bruce a house, smaller by Stephen's standards, but it's nice sized when they got married. Wanda and Vision got a flat in Paris."
You nodded, a little overwhelmed.
Sam lifted you up on his shoulders. "Anyways, I was thinking about kids."
"Me too." You said. "I'm hoping that everyone looks at them as their own."
"I'm sure we will." Clint said, sounding nonchalant about it. "After all, we're all your soulmate. After the bonding ceremony, we'll all be connected. We should expect that to be in our children too. Besides, it's not like you're going to have eleven children, even if we all wanted our own kid."
You laughed, "Yeah, eleven kids is ridiculous."
"Although, it does sound fun." T'Challa admitted. "A huge house, lots of kids running around cheerfully."
"I think at least. . . what, four or five?" Clint asked. "Maybe six. I guess it would depend on how many attempts it takes for you to get your heir."
"I do feel bad about that." T'Challa said quietly. "Unfortunately, Wakandan customs can't be avoided."
"It's alright." You said, resting your chin on the top of Sam's head. "I don't really mind. I'm actually kind've excited to start our family life together. Although the marriage bonding ceremony will probably be exhausting."
Clint chuckled, "Probably."
The marriage bonding was, well, sex. Except you had to bond with all of your soulmates in one night. Which meant eleven orgasms in one night. One from each of them, eleven from you. And you were a Virgin (as most were) so it would certainly be a no walking day the day after.
"Have you decided on whether or not you want to ask your dad to the wedding?" Sam asked up to me.
You shook your head, your chin scratching on the top of his head. "No. I mean, my sister is going to be there and that's really all the family I need. But at the same time, I don't know. Maybe he should be there. I just don't know how Y/S/N would feel about him being there either."
Once you guys had made it down to the pond, you climbed off Sam's shoulders to take off your shoes and socks to dip your feet in. Clint had already done so and Sam was getting ready.
"Scared of water kitty kat?" Sam teased as T'Challa simply stood behind you, your back against his legs.
T'Challa chuckled dangerously. "Cats eat birds little Falcon."
You giggled at their friendly bantering.
"What colour suits are you guys thinking about?" Clint asked sincerely.
"Matching our soulmate bonds." T'Challa said.
You giggled again, "Does that mean Sammy is wearing pink?"
"Oi, brown is a part of that. Pink and brown." Sam pointed out.
"Hey, you're the one that pink is your favorite colour." Clint pointed out as Sam got defensive.
"I can see it." You said, reaching over to touch Sam's shoulder. "One of those crisp pink dress shirts with a brown suit jacket and brown dress pants. Maybe even coffee brown dress shoes. You'll look rather dashing."
"Ooh, you hear that boys. I'm gonna be dashing." Sam grinned.
Clint grinned before wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. "This is going to be fun."
***
"Y/N, this is Pietro, Pietro, this is Y/N." Tony did the very quick introduction to Wanda's brother.
He looked nothing like Wanda. His eyes were blue, his hair dark before it turned blond. It was wavy and short. He had faint stubble and a facial do like Stephen's, which showed that brown was his natural hair colour. He was a bit taller than Wanda, on the lean and muscular side.
He held his hand out, "Nice to meet you."
His voice was quiet, heavily accented with the Sokovian lilt like Wanda's.
"Likewise." You said.
"Do you have a superpower?" He questioned as the two of you dropped hands.
"She's hits peoples with umbrellas." Tony answered for you, receiving an elbow to the kidneys.
"No." You said, rolling your eyes. "Ignore him."
Pietro grinned. I spent most of the day with him, Wanda, and Clint talking. He told us about how he had met someone named Makkari and they'd had several races, though they weren't sure who was faster.
"Don't suppose you know someone with an Aqua and gold soulmate mark, would you? Or a blue and silver one? Or, this one is strange but it's yellow, red, green, blue, and black." Pietro asked.
You shook your head, "Sorry."
He shrugged, "Oh well, they're out there."
"Maybe you just need to run into the King of Wakanda and go apologize to him." Clint smirked.
You rolled your eyes. "How was I to know he was the King of Wakanda? What was the King of Wakanda even doing in a low part of New York? Not my fault I didn't do a proper apology right then and there."
"Well I'm glad you didn't." T'Challa's voice sounded behind me. He had me sit up so that he could behind me, pulling me flush against his chest. "Cause now we're here."
"Very true." You said, tilting your head back and he pecked your lips sweetly.
"Ew." Clint said like a child before winking at you. You flipped him off.
"I'm sure it's equally ew when she kisses you." T'Challa said, resting his chin on your head.
Clint smirked, "I'm excellent kisser, thank you very much."
Wanda rolled her eyes, "They are constantly comparing themselves."
Pietro shrugged, "Typical male species."
You giggled.
Later that night, dinner was a rather chaotic affair. Tony had doordashed a bunch of food from Panda Express, Larosas, Auntie Annes, Greaters, Papa Johns, and Applebees. This resulted in a large buffet of food while everyone settled in the living room with the first season of Bones on.
Loki and Coulson sat as far apart as the room allowed. Valkyrie sat with him. Fury and Maria sat with Coulson. Tony, Stephen, Rhodey, and a man named Wong were sitting around the coffee table. Steve, Bucky, Sam, Clint, Bruce, and Natasha were sitting on or against the couch. T'Challa, Shur, Okoye, and a few of the other Wakandans he had invited were sitting at the dining room table instead in the adjoining room. Thor was standing around with Volstagg, Hogun, Sif, and Fandral.
Peter was there was well, with his Aunt May, Pepper, and Happy, though only Ned could make it as MJ had some sort of job thing.
Y/S/N was there with Y/S/BF/N, though they were more out of place than the others. Vision, Wanda, and Pietro were talking to them.
And then there were Guardians. There was Peter Quil, also known as Starlord, with his soulmate Gamora and their daughter Nikki. Nebula, who scared you just a little. Drax and Mantis, who were soulmates. Rocket turned out to be a raccoon (maybe?) along with a tree named Groot. There was also a man named Kraglin who had an arrow tucked into his belt.
It was funny. Kraglin seemed almost terrified of Nebula, yet they were soulmates.
Also, it turned out that Gamora and Nebula were both the adopted daughters of Thanos so that just made them a little scarier.
Thor very happily greeted the raccoon and the tree. You could sense some sort of male prideship fight between him and Peter.
Peter Parker greeted Peter Quil. You assumed they were friends.
All in all, it was a very crowded room. And they would all be here for another two months until the wedding preparations were put into plans.
Of course, there were still some people missing according to Fury. Someone named Captain Marvel. You knew she was the one that had snapped the glove to kill Thanos.
Scott and Hope were over in California, visiting Scott's daughter Cassie.
You took your own plate, looking for a place to sit. Stephen motioned to you and you moved to sit between the space that Tony made for you between the two of them. Tony's hand immediately found it's way to your thigh while Stephen held your hand under the table.
You were so busy observing the new comers in the room, you didn't even realize that Tony had asked you a question.
"Sweetheart?" He said and you snapped your head towards him.
"Sorry, what was the question?" You asked quickly.
"Some of your favorite things to do."
"I love camping." You said immediately. "I had a friend when I was young who was in boy scouts and I went on all the camping trips with them and his family. My favorite spot was either at Mammoth Caves, Wright Patterson Airforce base, or Hueston Woods."
Tony seemed surprised, "Camping? Really?"
"Oh yeah. Now that I think about it, Mammoth caves was really my favorite. We stayed on the campground and then we got to explore the caves in tours. It was a lot of fun." You smiled as you thought about all of the memories you had.
"Caves huh?" Tony said, seeming a little pale.
"Yeah." You nodded, "There's a specific tour that we always did whenever we did. I don't remember the name off the top of my head but it took you through something called Fat Man's Misery, which was this tight spot in the cave. But it's not a good tour if you're afraid of the dark or tight spaces."
"Duly noted." Tony said.
The night passed in soft touches between the two of them, funny conversations provided by the Guardians about space, and quick bantering between Loki, Thor, T'Challa, and Sam.
Everything was really starting to feel like home.

Hi! Can I request, One piece x Pokemon?
Straw Hats meeting Pokemon trainer Reader, who isekai'd into One piece.
But Female Reader is not just a trainer, she was in team Aqua, not as member, but a heir of Team Aqua. She's Archie's, Team Aqua's Boss, younger relative (sister/cousin/niece). While team aqua, she okay with the ideals or ways in this team, yet she doesn't like using extreme actions (ex. using violence), despite that she cares of the members of team aqua, including her leader/older relative, Archie.
Whether Team Aqua's disbanded or not, Reader start her own Pokemon journey, maybe she would be a pokemon coordinator/performer And also she loves to sail, swim, or doing water activities
Reader's pokemon: Swampert, Sharpedo, Milotic, Gyrados, Migthyena, Crobat
You can change the pokemon and other things if you like
Thank you!
-When you wanted to go on an adventure, this wasn’t exactly what you were thinking, falling through portal that was torn into reality and sent you to a new world.
-This world fit your vibe, as you were in a world where the ocean was the true power- as most everyone lived on the sea, with ships- either being pirates or marines, or even a few merchants.
-You wished you could have shown Archie, your big brother, this- he was always so adamant that the ocean would take over the world, and while you didn’t agree with some of his methods, using violence, you did admire his ambition.
-If he could see this world, seeing a world where the sea was the focus of everything- he would love it.
-You had to learn this world was nothing like the world you came from, people were ready to kill one another, and the moment some of these people saw your Pokemon, they were fully ready to kill you for them- wanting their power for themselves.
-That’s why you were grateful to the one crew who saw your Pokemon as unique and cool- thinking they were some type of Sea King, which you learned were aquatic monsters that lived in the ocean.
-This crew welcomed you in to theirs, the Straw Hats, and while you would always be loyal to Team Aqua, as you were loyal to your brother, you never felt more at home with the Straw Hats- they made you feel so welcomed and so safe in this new world.
-They were curious about your previous world, as they wanted to know more about your Pokemon, as Luffy was being hugged by your Swampert- your partner and longest friend.
-They all wanted to come to your world, to see what it was like to not worry about constantly looking over their shoulders for enemies, while you were learning how to do that now.
-They weren’t bothered that you were part of an ‘evil’ organization, as they didn’t really see it as overly evil, other than the violence- they saw your brother as someone who loved the sea and wanted to flood the world to make a massive ocean.
-Since you had no idea how you came to this world, other than the tear in reality, so you didn’t really know how to get home or get them there, for either a visit or permanently.
-When you learned of Luffy’s dream, to become the Pirate King, as well as the dreams of everyone else in the crew, you couldn’t help but smile- they were so motivated and willing to help each other achieve their goals.
-It made you think as your Milotic was curled around you, keeping you company while you were on watch duty, what was your dream?
-Originally you believed you wanted to help Archie achieve his dream, but after both Team Aqua and Team Magma were dissolved, you went on a journey, exploring the world around you, battling, and you had been learning to become a coordinator, but you did that for fun- it wasn’t really a dream.
-As you watched Sharpedo and Gyarados, your final two Pokemon, swimming around the ship, protecting it from the bottom, you couldn’t help but smile- perhaps you would finally find a dream in this new world, with your new and old friends.
-You couldn’t wait!

So the situation in Space Oddity is of course an ugly mess for Aro because of all the complicated relationship and situational dynamics at play. Judging from your other metas, it feels like Tom saying he doesn't want to turn is mostly out of concern for Lily's feelings (the rest being negative first impressions). So if it was him alone, I feel he'd eventually agree to join the Volturi (not as much instinctive repulsion to vampirism, doesn't believe a way home is possible, attachments are more easily manipulated by Chelsea when the people aren't physically there).
But how would Lily alone, Lily with Harry, or Tom and Lily without Harry play out in terms of how much luck Aro has in getting anyone to turn?
Space Oddity by me and @therealvinelle and The Man Who Would Be King by me and @therealvinelle
Does Tom Want to Be a Vampire?
I'm very curious what other metas you mean because the answer is no and pretty much for the reasons he outlined. If you're talking about the one where I said he would like to become a vampire, there's a few key differences there that we'll get into. He likes Lily and all, but if he really wanted to do something he wouldn't sugar coat it or lie about it either.
Honestly, no, he meant every word he said.
The difference between Tom here and Tom in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to London and How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bacchanals is a few key things. In the first, Tom's unbearably lonely and feels he's living a pointless life where he'll never amount to anything or do much of anything. Suddenly, a very exciting person is there with a mysterious mystery, to Tom the charm of being a vampire was having companionship and having an exciting new life. In Bacchanals it's similar in that while he has a good friend, he still feels his life is quite dull.
Tom in Space Oddity is much older, is convinced his life is great, and most importantly is already immortal. He doesn't have to achieve immortality and when the immortality being offer a) makes him an addict for blood in a way he'll never escape b) he gets the very fun offer of joining someone else's immortal army c) he will physically and mentally change as a person and you have Tom going very :/ even at the promise of more power (and that's very suspicious to him because what the fuck is that supposed to mean.)
Lily becoming a vampire is equally as bad for the same reasons. He'd lose control of his apprentice who would become an addict for human blood and would be inducted into someone else's undead army.
He ain't for it.
(I'm not saying it's not impossible he'd join if isolated, just Marcus and Chelsea would have their work cut out for them.)
Lily Alone
Lily alone is not for it but this is Voldemort 2: Electric Boogaloo, she has no idea how/if she can escape them and when she does try to run they find her very easily. Running more might just piss them off/make them decide she's not worth the risk so maybe better to just... try to strike some kind of a deal.
So we basically get what's been happening in the fic with the bonus of a) a lack of cover b) a lack of baby that prolongs how long they'll wait before turning her c) complete isolation again.
We see in the original fic Lily's relatively good at handling isolation/adversarial environments, she doesn't break with Tom or in Godric's Hollow for all things get very stressful, but here she also has someone who can a) manipulate how she feels about things b) if that doesn't work then there's the guy that sees every relationship she has and can act on that information.
It's not a good situation.
Lily with Harry
See above, but she has a little more time so Harry can grow to a point where he can be turned as well or Lily can let him live his life.
Tom and Lily without Harry
The fic except full throttle as Aro doesn't have to slow down for baby.

have the best of both worlds and go princess reader x runaway foreign prince turned knight satoru/yuuta
wait i like this… and i can see it for either of them… yuuta who ran away from his prince duties because he was always outcast by the other royals and cabinet members, considered a cursed child and tortured until he’d had enough :(( eventually you or one of your knights catch him and he’s so scrawny and malnourished, you take pity on him, give him something to eat and one of the many rooms in the castle. your head butler is the one that sees potential in yuuta and suggests you keep him here, yuuta agrees quickly, not just out of obligation bc you saved his life but because (1) instant lover boy, sort of already fell for the kind princess who treated him like a person for the first time in his life, (2) if yuuta was truly born to be someone to serve other people, maybe becoming a knight is his second chance :((((((((((
gojo running away and not getting caught seems a bit harder only because he just Looks like royalty, there’s no way someone could see him and not immediately see that he’s related to the king and queen, so let’s say he’s not actually of royal blood by birth, but he married into it. was sort of forced into it? he’s gorgeous, so it’s not hard to imagine that royal families have been trying to arrange betrothals since he was young, thinking only in vain of securing strong and beautiful heirs. his parents refute this, but when his mother passes away, some sleaze takes advantage and satoru ends up engaged and married to some duchess he doesn’t particularly care for. he’s not a bad husband, but he refuses to sleep with his new wife for a multitude of reasons, but mainly because he won’t be used as some accessory to produce an heir. it makes her father mad and long story short, he gets himself divorced and almost beheaded, but he makes his way out… it doesn’t stop other people from trying to force his hand into marriage, until you, quite literally, buy his freedom. turns out, your parents and his parents were old friends and as the princess, you had the power to make good on their friendship and free satoru, from, essentially being passed around and sold into marriage again. you tell him he doesn’t owe you anything, but that, ironically, only makes his loyalty towards you grow… he definitely freeloads in your castle for a bit, is brash and doesn’t follow proper mannerisms, but you’re the princess and you say it’s okay and satoru likes that… you have power and you seem to use it appropriately, you’re strong and you don’t care to ruin other people’s lives for the sake of a child. he likes that, he likes you, he thinks you’re a rebellious little princess underneath all your formalities and he wants to stick around and see that, so turns to being your knight, and makes it his life mission to see just how far he can get you to go for him… anyway….
#anonymous#wait but anon you might have fixed all the problems w a gojo draft of mine i owe you#i might actually use this omg you all are geniuses teehee#yuuta.ask#satoru.ask#royalty au

~POV Mori~
While I was sick, the magicians developing alchemy magic were able to make a wider range of materials by doing something closer to assisted chemistry; they started transmuting rubber from the milky saps of some plants -like the rubber gloves from my medical scrolls. It was inspiring! With the power of success and dopamine I finalized my printing press schematics in only 2 days.
These accomplishments were later brought up at the morning Assembly, not by the people making them, but by Ja'far and the accountants of the White Capricorn Tower. "Even before becoming the official Prophet of Sindria, Mori has help our magicians, engineers and doctors make leaps and bounds of progress in their fields. Many countries of the Alliance have agreed to help fund these projects and have already preordered scrolls of the information. *However,*" he held up a document, "due to all of the extra people and resources needed we are already over budget for the year! And so we request that the Prophet not invent anything new for the rest of this quarter and the next. This way we will have time to start finalizing what we already have for production and can start receiving a return on these investments."
Yamuraiha jumped to my defense. "The work Mori has been doing in the Black Libra Tower has been revolutionary! How can you say you don't have a budget for life changing-"
"I am not denying their contributions! We simply can't afford this rate of advancements!"
I raised a hand to get their attention. "If there's no budget, then there's no budget. However, I can't just sit around and do nothing for 5 months."
There was a bit of a back and forth, and eventually it was agreed that I would continue helping in the Black Libra Tower, but any future schematics would be placed on hold and judged for priority by the researchers and accountants. And so I went to working as an encyclopedia in the mornings, and would work on Fate scrolls after lunch.
---
The Great Bell rang, and thanks to the power of hyperfixation, none of us could tell what time it was. Not long after, I noticed a familiar shift in the waves that gave me the answer. Knowing who was coming gave me another boost to get a little more done.
Menachem greeted him when he arrived. "Ah- good morning, your Majesty."
Sinbad's laugh made my heart race. "Yes. Good morning." For the past week, King Sinbad had came in person every other day for updates even though it would be covered in the next morning's Assembly. The violet haired man walked over to where I was sitting, while showing me the world's most charming smile. "Mori. How are you doing?"
'Excited. Happy. Nervous. Embarrassed. Confused. Self-conscious.' He hadn't said anything directly flirty since I was sick. And yet, it was noticeably harder to refute the Magicians' claims. Sinbad had said at the Announcement that he didn't want to play at flirting with me, and wanted to become someone I could trust. He certainly didn't trigger my lactose intolerance anymore. 'He said he wanted to move me to the Purple Leo Tower.'
I fought back the urge to hide. "I'm fine." The room definitely felt hotter than it did a minute ago. I re-explained what I had gone over with the magicians. Sinbad nodded along and asked questions at all the right times. He also remembered the things I had said previous days. He made me feel validated and respected every time he stopped by. It was becoming increasingly bad for my heart.
There was a suspicious amount of people meandering nearby. Most were watching us out of the corners of their eyes. At least the magicians didn't comment as much as the first time they saw the pink Rukh around us. Although, it was getting easier to judge when they were looking at the Rukh even without those comments.
The King smiled, and I cursed his ability to charm me without flirting. He used a hand to point at the scroll from over my shoulder. He was much closer than I realized; I would only need to lean over a little to make contact. Just like how he had stopped overtly flirting, he hadn't touched me either. He knew I needed space, and I was grateful for that, but it also illustrated for me just how used to his skinship I had become.
I couldn't do this anymore. It hurt too much. I was projecting my past onto someone who might actually reciprocate my feelings. What I was feeling might not have anything to do with the present or him as a person. I could just be recognizing my past in him and repeating those patterns while hoping for a different ending. But the patterns include the endings, and if I wasn't self-aware enough I'd force those endings out of fear of being caught unaware. Even if Sinbad actually liked me now, the attention he showed me would dry up eventually, right? I require closed relationships so eventually he'll come to resent me for limiting his options. We aren't compatible. The waves rose slightly and I couldn't ignore the thought that this was fanfiction, so anything was possible.
"Excuse me, Mx. Prophet?" A voice called for me from the entrance to the library.
'OH THANK GOD' I was saved! "Yes??" I looked in the direction of the voice and called back. "Do you need something?" My face was finally starting to cool down. At least now I could stop thinking about how easy it would be to touch Sinbad. 'Remember who he is in 5 years.'
The worker appeared from around a line of bookshelves. He froze at the site of the man next to me for a moment before giving the message. "There's a- There's a blacksmith looking for you."
'A blacksmith?' "THE SCISSORS!" I was out of my seat in a flash. My brain shifted gears quickly after passing through the doorway into the hall.
The blacksmith that made the scissors during my first week in Sindria understood how important of a development this was and came to talk to the designer, me, shortly after seeing who I was at the Announcement. If he was here to see me again, he must have finished some prototypes for different types of scissors! The thing that made the evolution from shears to scissors so important was the addition of the hinge to the tool. There was no time to worry about Sinbad right now! There was history happening!
---
~POV Sinbad~
Sinbad had figured out that Mori wasn't the type to leave in the middle of work, even when she was putty in his hands. So, what was so important that she was willing to leave while in the middle of talking with her King about said work? They wouldn't have been interrupted if Mori had her own office. Sinbad crossed his arms as he watched them leave. At least she looked excited for whatever this was about.
Menachem came back over, as if he hadn't just been enjoying the show from behind a potted plant. "You know, your Majesty, I didn't think it was the case at first, but now I'd be willing to bet money that the Lady Prophet has blue Rukh." He stroked his beard as he talked. "You're going to have to be more direct if you want her attention." The old man laughed.
Sinbad sighed a laugh back and shook his head, but didn't answer.
There was a superstition that you could tell a lot about a person's personality from what type of Rukh they had. People with Type 2-Blue Rukh were said to get lost in their personal interests, and struggle to recognize romantic advances. That first part definitely sounded like his Beautiful Prophet, but Sinbad wasn't sure about the second. Mori was ignoring his signals on purpose. It would take a while to convince them he was worth the risk.
((In one of the Magi extras Yunan describes these Rukh based personality types with canon characters as examples. It's not stated as common knowledge. I wanted to add it because it reminded me of the way people talk about astrology signs sometimes :3 Btw, according to the manga's personality quiz, I normally get Rukh type 7 -the same a Sin. Sometimes I get Type-2, 8, or. 4))
When Sinbad turned the corner, Mori was already out of sight. Not a problem; the waves would lead him. The King found them on the first floor talking with a burly old man that was a known blacksmith.
Mori had two fingers in rings with blades attached. "This pair is really close to the ones I first commissioned. Thanks again for those. I've been able to cut my bangs without worrying about accidently shaving my eyebrows with a knife."
Sinbad walked up to them. "How would someone even do that?"
Mori turned to him with a knowing smile. Her cheeks turned a little pink when they made eye contact. "I didn't think it was possible until I saw it happen in one of my visions. He had to go without sleep for several days, and often cuts the left side of his bangs too short." Sinbad unconsciously brushed his bangs at the mention of a habit he knew he had. "He was lucky that he knew a magician that was able to regrow it." She wasn't talking about him, right?
"Hello, your Majesty," the blacksmith greeted King Sinbad before explaining: he had originally wanted to make a deal with the designer to make and sell scissors, but after finding out that person was the Prophet he wasn't sure if that was acceptable -the information from the Prophet's visions were the property of the King. The two had been working on a pitch together which Mori immediately got into since Sinbad was clearly available.
The King examined one of the pairs of scissors during the explanation. He could see how this allowed a higher level of finesse then shears or a knife for certain tasks. This would be a profitable and widespread product even if Mori's visions weren't right. Still, those eyes full of expectations just made him want to tease her. "You know Mori, I remember you agreeing to withhold on inventing things for the time being."
"Ah- Well..." Her surprise was cute. "I actually reinvented scissors before I made that agreement!"
He smiled down at her. "I'm not sure if that will be enough to convince Ja'far and the others."
Mori froze as she calculated her next strategy. The waves did not give Sinbad enough warning before she made her way over to him and placed her hands on his forearm. "You'll help me then," her fingers made his skin tingle, "right? My King?" Sinbad couldn't look away from the eyes glittering up at him.
How long had he been holding back only for Mori to touch him first? He'd relent even if she hadn't invented them beforehand; the production wasn't coming from the Palace budget anyway. "Of course." Sinbad smiled down at his Beautiful Prophet. He sheathed the scissors he was holding and turned to the blacksmith. "I brought Mori to Sindria so they could help all of my citizens thrive."
The conversation wrapped up quickly after that. And through the whole thing, the King couldn't stop thinking about the hands holding onto him so affectionately. Without looking, Sinbad put his free hand over one of Mori's to keep it on his arm a little longer. But it didn't stop her from pulling away after the blacksmith left.
The person pulling at his heart started to head back towards the stairs to return to the library. He wasn't ready to part ways yet, but there was also no reason he could think of to follow them back. "Mori. Would you tell me more over lunch?" He had been trying to keep their time together to a minimum for Mori's benefit, but if they were reaching out to him then it should be fine to take the next step, right?
The waves moved between them, and Mori looked back his way. "Oh. Um..."
"These inventions from your visions are so interesting. And we could discuss some potential future inventions."
Their smile was nervous but not forced. "Yeah. Okay."
Sinbad offered his arm to them like he did in the past when they walked together, but Mori declined even though she had just been clinging onto him so sweetly. They walked side by side, but the distance between them felt larger than before. She made his heart race and then dropped it when she got her way. It made him think of their first dinner together. She claimed she was seducing him just like he seduced others to get his way. He really had no idea how it felt to be on the receiving end until now.

~POV Mori~
Multiple scrolls laid out on the table in my room drying. I had reached the slave arc in copying down Fate. After drawing the first pic of Sinbad fighting little Masrur in the Coliseum, I couldn't bring myself to draw again until I reached Ja'far punching Sinbad when he was freed. I laid on the floor between the pools of light from the windows to cool down my ruminating.
Seeing Sinbad go through it and directly acknowledge how horrible it is and eventually go numb... There was an eerie beauty in it -like a memento mori. 'I'm disgusting.'
((CW until marked))
The Slave Arc is my favorite arc in the Adventures manga -not because of what happens, but because of how it affected me. When my mom was hospitalized, and then died, she could no longer stop me from seeking therapy. When I explained my home life and childhood to my personal therapist, I was told that it sounded like the stories of children raised in cults and manipulated to become slaves for the leaders. Even though it was a comparison I made when I was young, I thought it had to be inflated hyperbole until I read how Maader indoctrinated Sinbad and the slave children. I was never put in a collar, but I related way too much. It got me to look up actual cults and victim stories. The abuse I grew up in was the same level of high control.
My mom almost died having my sibling and it changed her. By the time I turned 10 I couldn't deny there was something wrong with how my parents treated us. The one thing saving us from complete brain washing was that they couldn't afford to home school us. I tried to ask outside adults for help, but my mom was too well known in the community and I didn't emote properly. So when I read the scene where Sinbad convinces the children to rebel, I cried. I didn't care that he was manipulating them from his perspective; he validated the pain they were hiding, and gave them agency long before I got it. Yes, many of the slave children died in the rebellion, but many also lived to finally be free. When the cruel refuse to stop nothing can change until someone dies. Many have risked their lives for that reason.
Just like them, I knew nothing would change in my life unless someone died. The conversation Sinbad has with himself after he remembers his life's purpose was very similar to the one I had with myself from 12-14 years old -especially after how my parents normalized suicide. I realized it wasn't worth the risk to fight back , but also I chose to stay living anyway at the last second so I could continue to protect Lyly from our parents; and when they were a little older, Lyly chose to live to support me too. 'You can't protect anyone if you're dead.' No one was coming to save us so we had to learn to survive and protect ourselves. ((Yes, the thing Mori said to Alibaba in ch6 was this mantra I made for myself))
Our mother was already working herself to an early grave when I was child. She was rapidly aging from stress. I knew we had a strong chance of outliving her as long as we were able to hold on. Still, I wish she would have changed before she was on her deathbed. Her last words were an apology to Lyly. Things greatly improved after our mom died in 2016. Knowing how things were going for the other me, gave me peace of mind. Both versions were healing. I didn't feel as guilty for wanting to stay in this world anymore.
((End of CW))
I needed breaks because, just like being reminded of my own past, Sinbad wasn't just a character to me anymore. It felt wrong to draw any scene where he was shackled. Even if I never showed him this scroll, I didn't want to immortalize it. There were a few panels I had always wanted to redraw because they helped me process my own experience, but now that I was in this world I couldn't do it. If I ever drew them for the catharsis, I'd have to burn them afterwards. Each time I reached the plot points for one of those panels I had to step away and go through the same cycle of thoughts before I returned to the table and continued writing without drawing again.
"Ugh~" Who would have guessed that writing would help me process and get the ruminating out of my system? Me, actually, because this is always how I process things. I had separate scrolls for my ruminations so they wouldn't get in the way of the Fate scrolls, and because I kept writing in a circle. At least each time the rants got shorter. I'd already written this or that, and continuing to write the same thing gets frustrating to the point that I am forced to move forward. Like all types of mourning, it will always be there, but it can't hold me down forever unless I let it.
I couldn't stop the waves of disgust I had for myself. When I had originally read this arc, it carved Sinbad into my heart. It made me think, 'This person would understand me.' But I wasn't projecting my experience onto a character anymore; I was projecting it onto a real person who went through far worse than I ever did. I pressed my palms into my eyes. Ruminating was far easier than addressing this. I had to strip away all of my projections so I could see him clearly. And not just the Sinbad I read about, but the one who talked to me regularly and called me '(his) Beautiful Prophet.' Sinbad said he wanted to find a new path, but what would it even look like? What would it take for me to recognize it?
((I forgot to draw the curtains again...I really don't want to fix it though, so please pretend there are curtains framing the window.))
The sound of fluttering drew my attention. I had left my windows open on purpose in case Sinbird decided to stop by, but I also didn't think I would cycle this hard. I removed my hands from my eyes and looked up to see the possessed bird in one of the windows watching me.
"Hi, Sin. I'm okay. Just doing a big think, and that's easier from the floor."
The bird flew from the window to perch on one of the chairs at the table.
"I've been working on Fate scrolls. I want to get a few more done before I pass them off to you. I know this room probably isn't the most secure-"
'The vent scroll!' I sat up with a jolt and stumbled my way to the table after getting up too quickly. Sinbird flapped his wings in surprise when I yanked the vent scroll off the table. "This one is personal." I started rolling it up. "I don't mind talking about my past or feelings if you ask, but I'd rather you didn't read my unfiltered thoughts."
The bird watched me. I wished I knew what he was thinking.
I walked across the room, and put the tied scroll within the growing pile filling one of my bedside dressers. "It would be nice if I had somewhere to store these. This room isn't exactly designed for me to be using it as an office."
Wings flapped behind me and the bird landed on my shoulder as I turned to see what he was up to. He gave a small trill and I had the feeling he was proud of himself for something.
"We're both lucky that bird doesn't have talons, you know?" I was definitely going to need perches for him, and to start wearing a shoulder cloth that I wouldn't have to worry about getting pulls. As the bird watched me innocently another thought struck me, 'I probably shouldn't ask for a cat if I'm going to be visited by a bird frequently.'
((Hey, so you know how I said I was all better when I posted the last chapter? Apparently I was in the incubation period of COVID. It's out of my system now, but brain fog from long covid is kicking my ass. I had a bad fall last month because of it and got scraped up a bunch (including a little road rash). It's been 3 weeks and there's just the faintest remains of a scab left :D Just in time for my birthday (today) too! Here's hoping that my bad luck era is over!
Also, I am in a Magi server on discord. https://discord.gg/R5yzce4e I'm there all the time (and an admin). We talk about Magi, OCs, and fanfiction a lot))

you reblogged that old ask about pissa ever going anywhere with their relationships and i've had some thoughts about this topic and it's probably gonna become a little bit of a rant so no pressure answering or even reading it's your askbox of course. so firsts things first jusr as you said the the answer to that task missa would definitely have to be more present on the server for this to not fall flat and feel very surface level. that being said the ender king stuff that's been going on with phil could potentially be a catalyst for things to move forward but personally i don't know if i like this idea 100%. while it is crucial to phil's character because well it's his lore! i presonally wouldn't like missa to become just an extension to him and a plot device for his story. i'd love missa to have more developement on his own or with other people first because as you said yourself a lot of the times when he's on the server him and phil barely leave each other's side.
the thing with phil ignoring missa's feelings in a way is that it could be easily attributed to him being a repressed old bird, which well, he totally is. and the threat of the ender king constantly looming over him and his loved ones definitely doesn't help with opening up to people these days. but that's where a lot of developement could happen for him and he's already been talking more to his eggs so hopefully he can exchange that trust and honesty to missa soon. and if it takes the ender king to do it then so be it i have more faith in missa being open about things on his own accord than this guy.
honestly i think i saw a post similar to what i'm going to say but i really hope the prison kiss will push some unspoken boundary between them that makes them perhaps question some things or move forward. i'm personally any type of pissa enjoyer but i just hope they can confront each other at some point and talk about how they feel. there's a lot of potential for a very sweet story here it would be a shame if nothing ever happened with it. i know it's probably wishful thinking but hey i can dream.
also we don't really know how the server is going to look and to what extent it's going to be reset but it could be a good chance for them to hang out more if let's say some bases get yeeted or they need to gather resources. or even if the bases are untouched it feels like a good moment for less active members to join since there's been a little bit of pause. what i'm saying is missa please log on more it's really crucial to this.
WOOHOO
i do agree that Missa should get to write his own lore whether it coincides with Phil's or not, he doesn't seem to be into scripting interactions with the others he's more likely to just start playing a bit and then bouncing off that for his cubito's story (spreen's betrayal and him leaving roier's house for it, kidnapping by wolves, being in love with phil, fortnite cheese putting him in prison) overall there's no evidence missa's gonna be involved in the ender king plot in canon unless he and Phil have talked about it
definitely think having a lot of new untouched space could take most of the pressure out of just walking around and seeing everything expand so quickly and being worried about building somewhere someone might have already claimed or on someone else's grounds
canon romantic pissa is still up in the air but ccphil and missa are most definitely aware that they're playing into a traditional romantic love story, theyre gonna have to decide if it'd be better or funnier to keep pivoting around the subject and drive everyone on the island insane or to get the ball FUCKING rolling
I'm going to Have Faith that he will log on more. I'm going to Hope and Pray. Calacaland will prevail

Here are Isekai Maid Asks #5! There's more below the cut!
CW: Discussions of sexual assault and abuse
In the alternate world where Seasalt (Marinus's AU counterpart) and Marina grew up together, he would get very angry about her being bullied.
After she left due to being bullied, Seasalt snuck into the school, posed as a student and dumped a bucket of sewer water on Nightwolffe and the prince while they were walking to class. He wasn't able to get to the third boy who bullied Marina. He spent a few days in jail for that.
Fawn was killed due to the reincarnator, Julietta, her lady, misjudging how succession worked in this new world she came to.
Fawn, Julietta's maid, was taken advantage of by the lady's brother, Benedicto, and he was convinced she was pregnant with his child. Fawn was horrified by the prospect of becoming pregnant, as it would result in her being expelled from the household and losing her job. He was also obsessed with her, but Julietta played his behavior off for laughs.
As revenge for what he did to her and in hopes she could stop him from further taking advantage of her, Fawn allowed an assassin to make an attempt on his life. It didn't succeed, and Julietta found out about this.
Because Julietta often read stories where illegitimate children would be able to inherit or be acknowledged as long as the child was male or favored, she allowed Fawn to consume poison for her, but it killed Fawn.
The reincarnator only later realized that illegitimate children were prohibited in Teffrah from being acknowledged, and were granted no rights of inheritance regardless if they were male. Making Fawn's death pointless in terms of succession.
Benedicto lost his mind as a result of Fawn's death. While he went quiet for a while, the reincarnator assumed he would get over Fawn's death since she was a traitor and find a proper noblewoman to marry. She went on to marry a rich duke, and was expecting a child by her "happy ending."
However, after the ending, Benedicto began sending assassins after his in laws and and killed the Julietta's child. This began a bloody sequence of events that resulted in each side of the family sending people to kill each other as revenge. Julietta went to the crown for assistance, because her husband was related to the king.
But because of her unsettling knowledge of the royal family secrets (as a means of blackmailing them into helping her), she was accused of making a deal with a demon to usurp the crown and the entire household was stripped of their noble rank and hunted down. The reincarnator was killed along with Benedicto.
Libraries for public access do exist, but they are scattered across the country and they aren't as accessible as they should be. Most are also privately funded, or funded by the mage's union.
Thank you so much! ( ^ w ^ )
You should go ahead with the your idea, we need more western Otome Isekai. Even if it's not "typical" in style, there are people who are waiting to read it and it might become someone's favorite thing!
The more I read "I am the Real One", the more Cosette's destroying the Empire felt like it had more grounding and was the logical conclusion to an outdated method of defense, given how deeply unfair the society is. It was a timebomb waiting to happen.
All the systems in place that kept Keira from getting a fair trial and expediting her execution ( and it wasn't because of brainwashing like the story wants us to think, the system was simply working the way it was meant to since Keira no longer had an absurd amount of money and status, kinda like...MINA, who she had whipped nearly to death in both lifetimes).
I have to agree that the story really didn't need romance, and I think the love triangle really bogs it down. It was so vague to the point that I just couldn't keep reading.
Not a dumb question at all! Limpette technically does have a military, but they are mostly protected by the kingdom of Kolt for military aid, since they are sister countries.
But because Kolt is going through a revolution and in the past few decades has been in disarray due to power grabs, they can't provide resources or aid to Limpette and are vulnerable to invasion from Teffrah.
Thank you so much for reading!
I think when it comes to VADD/DITOEFTV, there is so much that can be re-contextualized with Penelope after she decides she deserves to enslave someone for her own benefit. She turned from a character who was aware of her own abuse and commented on it, to a hypocrite who is fully willing to abuse others. And the story goes out of it's way to justify her actions by handing her a happy ending.
I personally think that authors' should give characters the endings they deserve. What does it say when a slave owner who took someone's life away gets away and has a happy ending where they become the richest person in the land, surrounded by jewels and riches for the rest of their days? It tells the reader that they deserve this ending.
I'm really happy that Iseul was relatable. When I was first writing Iseul, I wanted to be sure I was breaking the cycle of just having a person to "just be an evil OG!Female Lead to our new female lead" in a sense where the villainess genre was going. I wanted to show someone who was just a person. We all have the capacity to be our worst selves, and we can get out of that mindset too if we look inward.
I'm happy to say that Nataliah and Oliver were able to escape and live happily, and I will be showing more of them in the story later. ^ _ ^
We will be seeing some of her diary entries later in the series.
Noah was devestated by her loss, but he was able to help keep her memory alive with their children by teaching them about her. He also later in life changed his surname to "Soole."
He was able to live under the radar with their children, who couldn't pass as Teffrah and took after their Haena more than him. By her request, he had her name removed from their family tree to protect his kids privacy, but their children named their female descendants variations of "Haena" by using the name "Hannah" and adopting the surname "Soole".
Thank you so much for reading! ( ; w ; )
And when it comes to Cordelia, she has a few versions where she is born from male!Nahla and had a stepfather. The other versions have Claudia as her stepmother and Montgomary Demeter as her father, with Nahla as her birth mother.
Male!Nahla as her father: Cordelia would be raised by her stepfather, Claudius, who is too embarrassed because he was cheated on by Cordelia's mother to kick Cordelia out. In this version, Cordelia's mother, Lady Samantha Demeter, took advantage of Nahla's male counterpart similar to how Eriadne, Nora's mother, took advantage of Geralt. Samantha would die from poisoning, and Claudius would frame Nahla's male counterpart and have him executed.
Nahla as her mother: Same backstory as Lord Demeter, up until she is born. Cordelia would be much more favored by her father, Montgomery Demeter. Nahla wouldn't have even been able to hold Cordelia, because Montgomery took her as soon as he found out the baby was a girl.
She would given the latest toys, the best dresses, and would be a symbol of his "superior" genetics because she came out passing as Teffrah. However, he'd also have a violent temper with her, so Cordelia would shut down. By the time she was ten, she would grow tired of her father and poison him to death when he started becoming creepy. Her stepmother is aware and lives on eggshells around Cordelia, but oddly enough Cordelia doesn't hate her stepmother. She just thinks she's a snitch. Not disliking her doesn't stop her from killing her before Stone!Demeter arrives though.

Pit Babe episode 6 rewatch/live commentary (part 2)
Guess who's on remote working and writing her commentary instead of working because she finished ALL of her task in 2 hours , but her working day last for 7h30......ME !
Oh poor Way....Who cares ? No one
Except Pete...Hello sir !
In the previous part, when i said that no one believed in Dean....i forgot about Sonic
And the fact that in the next second Dean turn all of his anger toward him
North first instinct being to check that Sonic is alright, in any situation
Side note n°??: i'm using the french subtitle from the team petitsblentreamis, whose translation is far better that the english one.
Dean asking what being nice has brought him and then, projecting his own sense of betrayal toward Alan on North and Sonic
And that was the last straw for Dean. At this point, nothing Alan or the X-hunter Team could say or do, would be able to repair their relationship, at least in Dean eyes
Now,it's a bit hypocritical to say that Alan.
But the thing is, they already lost him.....Also, i'm don't agree with Jeff on this one and i think he's a little bit projecting how he would like people to act toward him in this situation.
That only a fragment of why Dean is so f*cking upset ! Once gain, Alan just....brush him off
His dream is to be able to sleep......Now, if we take into account the whole series, all of Jeff visions are bad one......What if that's the only things he can see......the bad things, the hurtful and scary one....since he was a little child......
Alan has rizz ? Damn
Poor Jeff, nothing ever prepared him for someone like Alan
Never mind he's an idiot -< him and chef Oab should shake hands
Him trying to coax Jeff with food......wrong series Uncle
Charlie as so much faith in Babe jugement
Or you could keep it, make some renovation and raise your children here!
By the way, do you know what baffled me even more than Babe calling himself Mama during sexy time? it's Babe calling Charlie Papa and Charlie calling Babe Mama outside of it.
Also Mama is a part of who he is now; you have Pit Babe, King of the Hallows; Babe a traumatized alpha with a very shitty shitty childhood; and Mama, the babygirl ! the drama queen !
Babe, he's not trying, he's succeeding
Give me all the domesticity between those two in season 2 ! Or even better, give me 2189641 new episodes of them doing couple/family thing with the rest of the X-hunter Pack
He was playing hard to get but in reality, he just wanted a photo with his boyfriend !
The height difference in this scene remind me that Pavel keep wearing high heeled shoes because he just CAN'T be shorter than Pupu
🎶Kiss kiss fall in love🎶
Brother-in-law time
It's nice to see a character like Babe acknowledging his fault, apologizing and actively trying to have a positive relationship with Jeff
Poor Alan, Babe would rather be on Jeff side than his 😝
I love that everyone can see Alan crush on Jeff, even Babe (with all the shit he as going on)
The pure fear and horror in his eyes
Still not a fan of alcool
Mais ta gueule Way !
Both of them are soooo done
Awwww
North and his t-rex arm
I can only imagine what Way is going through at this moment
Uncle acting like an Uncle, who would have though
It's the little thing :
Yep, he didn't drink that...and neither did Way
Because you're his friend !!! And you clearly didn't look good when you left!!!
Babe, what did we say about doing doing thing that will only make him more delulu ?
Also do you think there is a reason that both of this scene involve cigarette ?..... Toxicity maybe ? ......Dependence?
Nut is just so pretty, the big round eyes, the soft hair🫠
Babe just want his bestfriend and boyfriend to become friend
How dare he ! Babe didn't change, he's finally happy with someone who sees him for who he is. His relationship with Charlie gave him the opportunity to shred a big part of his "Pit Babe" persona, which he mostly created to protect himself.
Yes !!!!
-> i will come back to talk about this scene later
I'm sorry, but at this point in the story, you can make me empathize with Way.
I can even imagine what Babe life would have been if he and Way had gotten together back in the days......
I love him so much
#Way i just love hating you#it's just soo easy#PapaMama finally !#pit babe series#pitbabeanniversary#charliebabe#northsonic#winnerdean#alanjeff#peteway#kentakim

After the festivities ends it is time to return to reality. And the reality is that your father is dead and everything he was doing, now you must do. Sure, you assisted and helped him, but still most of the things he was doing. And the most difficult ones as well.
'Is everything all right, Your Majesty?' Lanash asks when she comes to your office with tea. You have papers spread on your desk, as well as some datapads and screens. You look absolutely lost to your maid.
'I am considering abdicating and running away,' you answer after a beat. Lanash rolls her eyes. She places the tea on a free spot on the desk.
'Sooner the Chancellor will abdicate,' she snorts. You can't resist a small amused smile.
'That day I would like to see,' you sigh. You put away the papers in your hands and lean back against your chair. Your maid watches you with worry.
'I always knew being a queen is hard,' you say suddenly. 'But nothing could have prepared me for this. My father tried. But we had too little time together.'
Your eyes become distant. Lanash gives you a compassionate look. You stare in the distance for some time. Finally, you send your maid a sad smile and take a sip of your tea.
'Any more condolences?' you ask.
'A few,' she admits. 'But Threepio and I have it handled.'
'Thank you,' you say softly. 'It means a lot, you two doing it.'
'We wish to lighten your burden any way we can,' she assures you.
'If I ask you to get rid of some annoying politicians, will you do it?'
'Give us the names.'
'Lanash…'
'I'm serious. They won't find the bodies.'
'I was joking.'
'Well, I was not.'
You look at each other and burst out laughing. You shake your head. You take another sip of your tea and pick up a datapad. You got a new message. You check the sender and wince.
'Who is it?' your maid asks.
'It's from the Chancellor's office,' you sigh and put away the tablet. 'I need to be in a better mood for this.'
'I still don't understand why Senator Amidala and Ge- King Anakin insists he's a good person,' Lanash says. You stare at her. You blink.
'What?' she asks.
'It will take some time getting used to hearing everyone call him that,' you explain.
'Oh, it will be a challenge,' she agrees. 'Same as remembering to call him "General Skywalker" when talking to someone who's not aware of your relationship.'
You become sad again. She curses herself.
'Soon, my lady,' she assures you.
'How soon?' you ask. 'I'm married, yet I barely see my husband. I hate it. I miss him so much…'
'And he misses you just the same,' she says softly. 'You must trust that there will come time when you're together all the time.'
You sigh after a beat and take a sip of your tea. You return to your work without a word. Lanash curtsies to you and leaves you alone.
Later that day you have a meeting of the council. You want to scream very quickly.
'We cannot raise the taxes,' you repeat again. You lost the count of how many times you said that. You force yourself to breathe deeply.
'Your Majesty, we don't want to do this either,' the Minister of Treasury says. 'But after the attack, we need to rebuild. Our buildings, our army, our supplies… And we need credits for that. We can hardly borrow them from another planet.'
'Our planet has been rich for generations,' you say, clenching your fist. 'We were the ones who were lending credits. We were prepared for such occasion. Surely, we didn't suddenly become poor. I know the state of our treasury, Minister.'
'We are not poor, Your Majesty, no,' he says slowly, as to a child. 'But we can't possibly use all that we have. We must use some, but also ask people to do it as well.'
'The credits we have, have come mostly from them,' you say, getting more annoyed with every second. 'So, I dare say they already did they part. How about you lot throw some of your credits to help the rebuild?'
Everyone looks around, uncomfortable. Anger rises in you. The Minister of Defense clears his throat and leans forward.
'We've already gave our share as well, Your Majesty,' he says. 'Like my colleague already said, we don't want to do this, but when the time comes, the people must-'
'Oh, you all want to do this, do not lie to me,' you growl, slamming your fist on the table. Everyone jumps, startled. C-3PO and Lanash, who are standing by the door, exchange a worried look.
'When people pay taxes, some of the credits will go to your pockets, so you could afford leaving in your luxurious mansions,' you say, fuming. 'So, don't you dare telling me you don't want this and that you want to rebuild our city.'
You take in a few calming breaths. You stare at your council coldly.
'The law says that some credits from taxes go as your… pension,' you say. 'The rule was made, so the noble houses of Luth have taken the citizens into their protection. But in my opinion, you're taking too many. Therefore, you can expect a correction to this law by the end of the month. Once it will become legally binding, we will have credits for the rebuild, without taking them from the citizens.'
'No, you will be taking it from us,' the Minister of Sport says. You turn your icy gaze to him.
'But you still will have enough to live, while my people would have not,' you say. 'I think that's fair. You're dismissed.'
You stand up and everyone else must to. You turn and leave the room in a hurry. Your friends hurry after you.
A moment later you burst into your chambers, taking off the less official crown from your head. You throw it on the bed. Lanash stares at it, aghast. She rushes to it to check it over.
'I need to kick something,' you huff. 'Or stab. Can I stab someone?'
'I'm afraid not, Your Majesty,' C-3PO says, anxious. Just then your communicator beeps. You answer the call and are met with Anakin's hologram.
'Oh, thank goodness,' the droid says, relieved. 'You will be calm in no time, Your Majesty.'
'What happened?' Skywalker asks, raising an eyebrow, obviously hearing Threepio. You roll your eyes.
'I just had a meeting with my council,' you explain and huff. 'A bunch of pompous imbeciles.'
'What did they do this time?' your husband asks, remembering your stories about them from back when you were a princess.
'They decided we need to raise taxes to rebuild after the attack,' you answer. The Jedi frowns.
'But… aren't you a rich planet?' he asks.
'Exactly!' you exclaim. 'We have plenty of credits! We were prepared! But no, we need more, because we can't have an empty treasury… as if we are threatened by it! No, they just want to stuff their pockets. And they want to use the fact I'm young and was coronated after a crisis. They treat me like an uneducated child. I want to behead them all!'
'Can you do that?' Anakin asks, interested. You pause and look at C-3PO.
'Can I?' you ask.
'Ah, there is a law allowing the monarch to behead the enemies of the planet, but it hasn't been used in over four hundred years,' the droid answers.
'But it's an option, good,' you say, satisfied. 'For now, I've settled with telling them I'm changing the law. Less money from the taxes will be going to their pockets.'
'I don't think it was wise, Your Majesty,' Lanash says, walking to you with a worried expression. 'You need their support.'
'Their support is nothing compared to the support of the people,' you say and look at her. 'And who do you think the people will support? The person who wants to take money from the rich, so they don't have to give theirs, or people who want them to pay more?'
'That is a fair point,' your maid admits.
'Someone is very clever,' Skywalker chuckles. 'I remember you telling me they earn too much and how you want to change the law. And since they've threatened to raise taxes…'
'The people will gladly agree with my correction,' you say and beam at him. 'Don't you have a clever wife?'
'The cleverest I could have hoped for,' he says softly, looking at you with love. You continue to chat about more pleasant topics until he has to go. When you go to the bathroom to finish the first day of your rule with a bath, you're much calmer, just as C-3PO predicted.
*
One day, a few weeks after your coronation, you're invited to the Coruscant to celebrate the Chancellor's birthday. You tried to find an excuse not to come. But when Anakin informed you that he's going to be there, you decided to make this sacrifice.
And so here you are, entering your apartment with an escort larger than ever. You wait for your guards to perform a security sweep, as you get a call.
'Ahsoka!' you say, seeing a hologram of your Torgutan friend. 'What a surprise! How can I help you?'
'Obi-Wan and SkyGuy had a fight,' she sighs and looks at you pleadingly.
'You want me to help you reconcile them,' you guess.
'Pleeeease,' she begs you. You nod.
'Of course,' you agree without hesitation. She beams at you.
'You go to Anakin and I go to Obi-Wan?' she suggests. You think for a moment. You shake your head.
'I'll handle Obi-Wan,' you decide, surprising her. 'You go to your master.'
'Okay,' she agrees, not really sure about it. But she tells you where you can find Kenobi and you head that way. You find him in the garden of the Jedi Temple, meditating.
'Your Majesty, what a surprise,' he says, sensing your arrival. He opens his eyes and stands up. You give him a stern look.
'I'm still me, so call me by my name,' you say. He chuckles and opens his arms. You hug briefly and then the Jedi proposes a stroll. You agree and follow him. For a moment you walk in silence.
'Did Anakin send you?' he asks at last.
'Ahsoka did,' you correct him. 'She said you had a fight.'
'Did she tell you what it was about?' he asks.
'No, but it doesn't matter,' you deny. 'I'm not here to tell you who's right. I'm here to tell you there is too much going on for you to have fights. You never know when it's the last time you see the person you're at odds with.'
He glances at you. You have a serious expression on your face. His softens.
'How are you holding up?' he asks gently. You elbow him to the side.
'Don't change the subject,' you say sternly. 'You can play my therapist after we make things right between you and Anakin.'
'It's not that simple,' he sighs.
'Sure is,' you disagree. 'Do you care about him?'
'Of course, I do,' he answers. 'He's… he's like a brother to me.'
'Then go to him and tell him your friendship is more important than this feud.'
'… It was about the Chancellor.'
'Oh?'
'I don't trust him. We… were talking about something, I don't really remember what exactly. Suddenly we were talking about the Chancellor and his last decisions. I disagree with some of them. Anakin started to defend him. He got mad when I tried to show him my point of view.'
'… I think I made a good decision coming to you and sending Ahsoka to him.'
'How so?'
'I… I'm not exactly fond of Palpatine. Anakin and I already argued about it a few times. This time we would as well, probably.'
'I see. Well, we had some disagreements about him as well. But this time it seems more serious. How… how you make up after it?'
Your brain suggests making out instead of up and your feel your cheeks reddening. Because, to be honest, your arguments about the Chancellor end that way.
'We agree to disagree,' you answer at last. 'But it sounds more serious. Hm…'
You ponder the problem. What would make your husband understand Kenobi is not against him nor his friendship with Palpatine (although you're not sure about the latter)?
'Tell him… you value his opinion,' you say slowly. 'And you don't want to stand in the way of his friendship with the Chancellor. That you want to believe he's a good man and wants to do what's best for the Republic. But you'd also like to him to see your point of view as well. That Palpatine is allowing himself for too much and you must observe his next actions, just to be sure he's heart is still at the right place.'
'Do you think it's enough?' he asks.
'Well, no, he has to say his part as well,' you answer. 'You can't be the only one explaining yourself. But you may also add that part about him being like a brother to you. Hug would be good, too.'
'All right,' he says after a moment and smiles at you. 'Let's give it a go.'
You return to the Temple. You walk through the corridors, looking for Skywalker. You find him a few minutes later, heading your way with Ahsoka. You all stop. The men look unsure, nervous. Finally, they walk to each other. They head to the side.
You and Tano walk to each other. You observe in silence the talking men. Both are serious but also emotional. Vulnerable, even. Obi-Wan puts his hand on Anakin's shoulder at some point, telling him something softly. Your husband pursues his lips and you think you see his eyes shining. He hangs his head and says something. Kenobi smiles and the men hug.
'Thank the Force,' your Torgutan friends sighs. You look at each other and smile. You squeeze her hand, congratulating her on a job well done.
'SkyGuy really didn't like to be at odds with Obi-Wan,' she says.
'Same with Obi-Wan,' you say. 'I'm glad all is well between them.'
The men walk to you. Skywalker's eyes light up when you meet his gaze. Your heart skips a beat. You force yourself to remain calm, not wanting to compromise yourself in front of Kenobi.
'Thank you, ladies, for helping two grown men to solve their dispute,' the older Jedi says, his eyes twinkling.
'If not for the women, the universe would be already long gone, because men would either not talk to each other or were constantly fighting with each other,' you say. 'That's what my mom used to say.'
You smile but it doesn't reach your eyes. Your companions at once become serious.
'Is it time for me to be your therapist?' Obi-Wan asks. The other two gives him a confused look.
'Well, I promised you, didn't I?' you chuckle. 'You can all be if you want.'
You head to a bench. Others sit beside you, with men on your sides and Ahsoka next to her master. You're silent for a moment.
'It's not easy,' you finally say. 'Every day, before I open my eyes, I hope it was just a bad dream and I'm still a princess. Reality disappoints me the same each morning.'
Your husband hesitantly takes your hand and squeezes it. You give him a small smile.
'There are moments… when I want to cry,' you admit. 'I do sometimes. When I'm already in bed. I miss them a lot. It's hard… being alone. I know I have Lanash, C-3PO, Shmi and her family- Your mother has been wonderful to me for the past month, Anakin, truly. It's easier with her.'
'I'm happy to hear that,' Skywalker says, smiling.
'Anyway,' you go on, 'while I know I have them… I still feel alone. But I press on. I have my duties. People I care about. I try to be strong for them, while allowing myself to grief as well.'
'You're very brave, [Y/N],' Obi-Wan says after a minute. 'You are… an inspiration for many. Just don't take too much on yourself. Ask for help when you need it. Take a break when it's too much. And remember you'll always have friends in us and can call for us anytime.'
'Even if I just really need a hug?' you ask with tears in your eyes.
'Even if it's for a hug,' Kenobi confirms. You sniff.
'I think I need one right now,' you admit. Your friends quickly enwrap you in their arms. That's how Yoda and Windu find you a few minutes later. Sitting on a bench, crying, and hugged by people most precious to you. They may be crying as well.
In the evening it's time for celebrations. The whole city is on the streets, partying in the name of their beloved Chancellor. You watch the parade with a neutral expression, although you want to roll your eyes every few minutes. What helps, is that Anakin is on the other side of the street. You keep stealing glances at each other. Very heated and loving glances. They make you want to run with him and lock him in your chamber for the whole night. But you must endure.
'I'm very happy you made time for me, Your Majesty,' Palpatine says later, when you and some others are in his apartment for a private celebration. You force a smile.
'Of course,' you say and meet Anakin's eyes. 'I wouldn't miss it for nothing in the world.'
'I'm glad to hear that,' the Chancellor chuckles, while Skywalker smirks, knowing what you actually meant. 'I'm just sad you're leaving in the morning.'
'Alas, duties call,' you say, putting away your glass of champagne. 'As a queen I can spend less time outside my planet. Speaking off, I have to retire if I am to get up. My security insists everything goes according to plan. Once again happy birthday, Chancellor. Have a good night.'
Palpatine thanks you for coming once again and bids you goodnight. You catch your husband's eyes again and leave the apartment. You hurry away as fast as you can.
Not long after you take off all your accessories in your apartment, Anakin shows up. The doors barely close after Lanash when he has you in his arms. You kiss passionately and you sigh softly, content.
'I was waiting for that whole day…' he whispers and starts kissing your jaw, your neck. 'I couldn't wait for it all to be over… so I could have you all to myself…'
'Now you do,' you gasp. 'All yours. Please, my phoenix…'
He groans and quickly gets rid of your clothes. Once you're both naked, he takes you to the bed where you make love for hours. You both know that in the morning you'll be separated again. But for now, for these few hours… you're together again.
*
You're sitting on your balcony by your table, drinking tea. Well, the tea is in a cup but you haven't lift it to your lips so far. You're just staring at the setting sun, lost in thoughts. When C-3PO arrives and finds you like it, he's quite worried.
'Your Majesty, you have a call,' he informs you.
'Tell them to call tomorrow,' you say, not looking away from the sun.
'It's Master Anakin,' he explains. You turn your head to him. He waits expectantly. You sigh.
'Bring it here,' you say. The droid happily trots back inside, just to return a moment later with your communicator, a hologram of your husband shooting out of it.
'I'm glad I'm the exception to the rule of no more calls today,' he jokes as you take the communicator. You manage a weak smile.
'You're an exception to most rules,' you explain. He laughs. But when you don't join in and he notices your expression, he frowns.
'What is it?' he asks. You shake your head.
'Nothing, I'm just tired,' you say. He gives you a dubious look.
'I know your tired face,' he says. 'That's not it. Tell me what's wrong.'
'The Day of All Gods is coming,' you say after a moment. 'There's lot to do.'
'It's the biggest celebration of the year on the planet, yes?' he asks. You smile.
'You did your homework, I see,' you notice. He grins.
'Hey, I must know the culture of my people,' he points out. You feel all warm inside at that. His people. He feels a part of your planet and it makes you happy.
'The planet is also going to be closed for everyone from outside, yes?' he suddenly asks.
'Yes,' you confirm, nodding. 'Every year we have protests from all the tourists that they have to leave our planet for a day. Even though they're informed about it well in advance.'
'People will always complain about something,' he says.
'Yeah,' you sigh. He looks closely at you.
'There's something else, isn't there?' he guesses. 'Tell me. Is it the council again?'
You look away. He nods, satisfied.
'It is,' he says. 'What did they do this time? Or said?'
'Don't worry about it,' you say, shaking your head.
'[Y/N],' he says sternly but softly. 'I'm your husband. And a ruler of Luth as well. Let me share your burdens.'
'You're already busy enough with the war and the Jedi Order,' you say. 'There's no need-'
'There is,' he insists. 'I vowed to help you. To protect our people. Tell me what's troubling you. Please.'
Okay, that does it. That word and the pleading tone of his voice.
'The council is very displeased that you won't be attending the celebrations,' you explain. 'They understand that you're a Jedi, a general on war and that our relationship and your coronation are a secret. But they still believe you should… "fulfill at least some of your duties and be present at the parade". As they said.'
'I imagine you got pissed at them,' he says, frowning.
'I tried to explain it to them calmly,' you answer. 'They're not convinced.'
'Usually you're not bothered,' he points out. 'What else is there?'
'People agree with the Council,' Threepio explains when you don't. You glare at him. He quickly disappears.
'What?' Anakin asks, surprised. You sigh.
'Some people are not happy you're so rarely here and consult with me only via calls,' you say. 'They all understood the situation when we were getting married and then crowned, but somehow, they believed you'll be here more often. I don't blame you and don't expect more from you. I'll deal with them. Just…'
'It's hard,' he finishes quietly. You nod and force a smile.
'We'll be fine,' you say. 'You go and win this war, so you could spend more time with me.'
'Yeah, I will do that,' he says, not at all enthusiastic. 'Sleep well. Can't wait to see you again.'
'Anakin-' you start.
'I'm fine,' he interrupts you, this time him being the one to forcing a smile. 'Sweet dreams.'
'Goodnight…' you say quietly and end the call. You glare at C-3PO, who's back at your side.
'And why did you do that?' you ask. Suddenly, he's gone again. Look at that. He can be fast when he wants to.
The Day of All the Gods arrives. You're about to step on the platform that's a part of the parade. The Council is by your side, still complaining your husband isn't present after all. You barely resist to strangle them.
'The people will wonder why our benevolent king couldn't find the time to show up-' the Minister of Education System starts.
'Here!' a voice suddenly exclaims, causing you all to jump. 'I'm here!'
You turn, surprised, and see Anakin rushing to you, dressed in ceremonial robes. He stops by you, panting.
'Sorry, I'm late,' he says once he catches his breath. 'I had some trouble getting through the blockade. Great security, guys. I'm proud of you.'
'Y-your Majesty, you're… here,' stammers the Minister of Defense. Skywalker grins at you.
'I couldn't possibly miss the biggest celebration on our planet,' he says. 'But someone has to tell me what exactly am I supposed to do.'
'Oh, you just have to stand, look pretty and wave,' Lanash quickly puts in. 'No doubt you can do that.'
'Especially the part about looking pretty,' you say, checking him out. He looks really good in that clothes. He smiles cheekily at you.
'All right, people!' your maid says, clapping her hands. 'We're about to set off in a few minutes! Places!'
Everyone quickly moves to take their positions. The Council does it with a non-existent enthusiasm. You grab the Jedi's hand and drag him toward your platform. You quickly climb on it and take places.
'I can't believe you're here,' you murmur. He squeezes your hand.
'I wasn't raised to be a king,' he says quietly after a moment. 'I know I have a lot to learn. I don't want you to go easy on me, because our relationship is a secret and I'm a Jedi. I'm your husband and the king of this planet. If there's something that people expect me to do, just tell me. I'll try to make it happen. Okay?'
'Okay,' you whisper, smiling. He smiles as well. Then, your platform starts moving and a few minutes later you're on the street. People cheer loudly, but when they notice who's by your side, they cheer even louder. You both laugh and start waving.
'You're more popular than I am,' you joke.
'They have you every day, while my presence is a rare gift,' he teases. You snort and quickly cover your mouth with your hand. He chuckles and looks at your people. His people. They're his people as well now. It causes him to grin.
'So, there's the parade,' he says. 'What's next?'
'We ride all the way to the Temple of All Goods,' you explain. 'There, we make symbolic sacrifice. After that we party. One time in a year when we party in a temple.'
'Now, I definitely couldn't miss that,' he says. 'How long do we have to wave?'
'All the way to the temple,' you answer and his smile falls. 'Good thing you spend your days waving lightsaber around.'
At last, you arrive at the temple. You make a symbolic sacrifice, listen to some speeches, make one and declare it's time to party. Everyone is in good spirits. And Anakin is surprised how wild the party becomes. After a few hours he sneaks outside and takes you with him.
'I have something for you,' he says and gives you a small present. You give him a confused look as you take it.
'What?' he asks. 'Can't a husband give presents to his wife?'
You smile and shake your head. You open the present and find a small… thing.
'It's a communicator,' he explains. 'A special commission. I have another one. They're linked. You can hide it on your body and no one will detect it. So, if you get kidnapped again, you can use it and I'll come to rescue you.'
'I'd be offended if it wasn't very probable,' you say after a beat and smile. 'Thank you.'
'I just wish I could be with you to prevent that kind of things from happening,' he says, caressing your cheek.
'Soon,' you say, touching his hand. 'I can feel it.'
He smiles and leans down to kiss you. It feels good to kiss you in public, without a fear of someone seeing it. Here, on this day, you don't have to pretend. And he's going to use every second of it he can.
The night is obviously very passionate. You fall asleep very late. Anakin believes you're going to get up late. But when he wakes up, you're no longer in bed. He sighs and lifts himself up. At that moment you enter the room, staring at your datapad with an annoyed look.
'Good morning,' he speaks up. You look up and your expression brightens. You walk to him.
'Hello, handsome,' you greet him and you share a kiss. When you pull away, he looks at the datapad.
'Do we need wine?' he asks.
'No, I need wine, you need to put your pants back on,' you correct him, looking at your datapad again.
'But life is so freeing without them,' he says, smirking and putting his hands behind his head. You glare at him.
'Pants. On. Now,' you say. 'As much as I hate it, you have to leave. And I have a meeting I have to focus on. And I won't go nor focus if you're… without pants.'
The look in his eyes tells you he wants to tease you. You cross your arms.
'Remember that two can play that game,' you remind him. He deflates.
'Very well,' he sighs and gets up. Once he's dressed, you spend a very sweet morning. Then, you walk him to the docks.
'Do you need my help with whatever upset you in the morning?' he asks.
'Call me once you settle on the ship?' you ask after a beat. He smiles and nods, satisfied you're already trying to include him more.
You bid him goodbye and watch the ship fly off with a heavy heart. But the prospect of talking to him in a moment is comforting. So, once you don't see it anymore, you return to the palace, eager to talk to your husband again.
*
You enter your chambers, yawning. You love helping people with their problems, but doing that for a long time exhausts you. So, you're happy when you're done for the day. However, your happiness is short-lived. It dies as soon as you see distressed expression on Lanash's face and clearly agitated C-3PO.
'Oh, Queen [Y/N], it's terrible, simply terrible!' Threepio exclaims, raising his hands. You blink and look at your maid for an explanation. She bites her lip.
'There was an explosion at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant,' she explains. You go pale and fall on a chair next to you.
'Anakin…?' you ask, dreading the answer.
'He's all right!' Lanash quickly assures you. 'But… many died. And… everyone believes someone from the inside did it. A Jedi.'
'Oh, it's even worse,' the droid puts in. You're afraid to ask.
'Why?' you decide to ask anyway.
'They accuse Commander Tano is the one responsible for it,' your maid explains. You stare at them. You blink. Blink again. And once more.
'I'm sorry, but what?' you ask, thinking you heard wrong.
'They caught a suspect,' the droid explains. 'The suspect refused to talk to anyone but Commander Tano. But when they were together in the cell, the suspect was suddenly choked with the Force.'
'And on the recording, it looks as if Ahsoka was the one who did it,' Lanash adds solemnly.
'What happened to Ahsoka?' you ask after a beat. You start pacing around the room.
'They arrested her for murder but she escaped,' C-3PO answers. 'However, someone has knocked unconscious some Clones. And killed three. They believe she did that to escape. Now she's trying to clear her name. She asks for your help, hoping you believe she's innocent.'
You stop and look at him, surprised. You assumed Anakin called when you were gone.
'She's asking for my help?' you ask. 'She is the one who called you?'
Your friends nod. You sigh and run a hand through your hair.
'Why did she escape in the first place?' you ask. 'It just makes her look guilty. And why she's asking for my help and not her master's?'
'Maybe because he has a duty to bring her to the Jedi,' Lanash suggests.
'And I don't?' you ask, bewildered.
'You're more likely to hand her over to the Jedi after you find a proof of her innocence,' C-3PO puts in. 'And you doing that would less anger the Jedi Council.'
'Well, it is in their interest not to make an enemy of me,' you agree reluctantly and sigh. 'Oh, Ahsoka. What did you get yourself into?'
You walk to the door and open it. Your guards stand at attention.
'Find Hawk and inform him we're leaving to Courascant,' you say. 'I want everything ready as soon as possible. Not an official visit. No one can know about it.'
'Yes, Your Majesty,' one of them says and hurries away. You close the door and return to your friends. You give them a grim look.
'Get ready, too,' you say. 'I'm going to need you both.'
Some time later you land discreetly on Coruscant. The moment you do, you call Ahsoka. She's relieved when she sees your face.
'I'm here,' you inform her. 'Where will I meet you?'
'I'm heading to an abandoned amunitions warehouse,' she explains. 'I was told I can find a clue there.'
'That sounds like a very bad idea,' you say after a beat. 'I'm guessing it means it's also the only one we have?'
'Yes,' she confirms, wincing. 'If I send you the address, will you come?'
'I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. Just send me the address. We'll clear your name in no time.'
'Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me.'
She ends the call. You sigh and wait. The moment you get the location, you put on your cloak and leave the ship with Lanash and Hawk. Since C-3PO is known to be your protocolar droid, you ask him to stay behind. While he's worried about you, he doesn't really protest.
After some time, you reach the warehouse. You frown when you hear suspicious sounds.
'That sounds like…' your maid starts, nervous.
'Explosions,' your bodyguard finishes, grimly. 'Your Majesty, I must ask you to stay back while we investigate this.'
'How about I'll go with you to investigate this and I'll stay hidden if there's any danger?' you ask. Hawk sighs.
'You'll go anyway, won't you, Your Majesty?' he asks. You beam at him.
'Naturally,' you confirm and head inside. He sighs and follows you with Lanash. They both wish you had agreed for more security. Especially since the warehouse is under the city. But you insisted it would bring attention to you.
When you get inside, you see flames and smoke. Your bodyguard immediately wants you to turn back. But you notice Ahsoka. She's barely standing on her feet, her lightsaber in front of her. A hooded and cloaked figure is approaching her. Scared for your friend, you rush forward, taking out your blaster.
But the figure senses your presence. They turn and immediately jump up to disappear.
'Hawk, after them!' you order and hurry to swaying Ahsoka.
'Yes, Your Majesty,' your bodyguard agrees reluctantly and runs off. You grab your friend and drag her toward the exit. Lanash runs to you and helps you. You take her outside. There you meet a squad of Clones and-
'[Y/N]?' Anakin asks, surprised. Your blood runs cold when you see the troops pointing their guns at Tano. You think quickly.
'Ahsoka Tano was attacked by a masked person with two red lightsabers,' you inform them. 'I believe that would be your real culprit. My bodyguard is currently in pursuit. Instead of arresting a loyal soldier to the Republic, I suggest you send someone to help him. Until there's clear evidence she's guilty, Ahsoka Tano, as a friend of the planet Luth, is under its protection.'
'Which means, for these who are not familiar with intergalactic law, you can't arrest her,' Lanash quickly puts in. Skywalker barely suppress a smile. He quickly orders some of his troops to rush in the direction Hawk run toward. They hurry away and your husband turns to you, an apology in his eyes.
'It would still be better if Ahsoka came with us to the Jedi Temple,' he says. 'She won't be in custody, because she's under your protection, but it would be better if she at least stays in her room.'
You nod, agreeing to that. Anyway, you need to have some words with the Jedi Council. Tano tries to protest, not believing she will be treated fairly, but your maid says something quietly to her and eventually she complies.
At the Jedi Temple you leave the two women in the padawan's room and march to have a talk with Master Windu and Master Yoda. And, as it turns out, Moff Tarkin. Ugh, you dislike him as much as Palpatine.
'I insist that Ahsoka Tano-' he's saying when you arrive.
'She's under the protection of the Queen of Luth, so back off,' you huff, gaining a glare from him. 'She's innocent. If you make her stand trial, you'll let the real culprit escape.'
'Innocent in your eyes, Your Majesty,' he says. 'All evidence points at her.'
'Exactly,' you say, actually confusing him. 'It's too easy. Let's start with the death of Letta Turmond. Why would Commander Tano kill her if the cameras were recording her? That's stupid and she's not stupid. Someone has set her up.'
'The mysterious attacker only you saw?'
'Me, my bodyguard and my maid. And Commander Tano.'
'Why were you three there in the first place?'
'Because you're not doing your job. Instead of looking for a traitor, you're chasing an innocent girl.'
While you're arguing with Tarkin and try to convince the Jedi not to give up on Ahsoka, Anakin walks toward his padawan's room, determined to help her. On his way there, he meets Lanash. She speeds up when she notices him.
'Perfect, I need a Jedi that believes Commander Tano,' she says when they meet and stop. He raises hie eyebrows.
'What is it?' he asks.
'Hawk has returned,' she informs him. 'The attacker escaped but they managed to determine they entered the Jedi Temple. While it's not surprising because we all know the traitor is a Jedi…'
'We may be still able to recognize them if we know what to look for,' he finishes. She nods.
'I suggest starting with Barriss Offee,' she says, surprising him. 'She's the one who told Commander Tano about possible clues in the warehouse. Which makes her the only person who knew that she's going to be there. Well, there was also Ventress, as, apparently, they teamed up briefly, but Hawk said he saw her unconscious body as we were rushing to the warehouse, so it's unlikely it was her.'
'In any case, we must question Barriss,' he agrees.
'Perfect,' she says, satisfied. 'I left General Hawk with Commander Tano in case the attacker tries to frame her again. I figured he's more likely to stop that from happening. So, I'm going to accompany you.'
'Very well,' he concedes, knowing better than to argue with her. 'I'll just let Ahsoka know how the situation looks.'
'Of course… Your Majesty,' she says with a smirk. He jumps and quickly looks around. He glares at her and walks away with a huff. She snorts and follows him.
'Master, how is it going?' Tano asks when they walk into her room. Your bodyguard looks at them, attentive.
'[Y/N] is doing her best to appeal to Masters Yoda and Windu's common sense,' he starts. 'Obi-Wan was about to join them when I was leaving. She was in a… heated conversation with Tarkin. He demands you to be removed from the Order so the Republic could put you on trial. But she's giving all sort of reasons why he can't and why it's not likely you're the traitor. She's not going to let anything happen to you, Snips.'
'I know,' she says quietly. 'That's why I called her…'
Her master looks at her with surprise. So, that's how you found yourself there…
'It's going to be all right,' he assures her. 'Just… stay here and let us help you. Hawk, please, look after her.'
'I will, Your Majesty,' your bodyguard says, nodding seriously. 'You go and find the real culprit.'
'You all are doing this on purpose,' Skywalker murmurs and leaves the room, followed by chuckling Lanash. They head to Offee's room.
'Enter,' they hear after they knock on the door. They enter and find her meditating.
'Barriss, I need to talk to you,' Anakin says.
'Master Skywalker, how can I help you?' Offee asks, standing up. Your maid and husband enter the room. Lanash stays by the door, while the Jedi Knight walks further.
'I was told that you spoke with Ahsoka before she was found in the warehouse,' he says and calls with the Force Barriss' lightsaber. 'What did you say to her?'
'We've been friends for a long time,' Offee says. 'I was only trying to help her. I hope I'm not in any trouble.'
'It's no trouble,' Anakin denies, looking the weapon over. 'I just need to know what you told her. And if you told anyone else.'
'No,' Barriss denies. 'I thought I had a clue for her, but I really couldn't tell her anything. Who told you I spoke to her? Ventress? Isn't she the one Ahsoka says is really behind all this?'
'Ahsoka,' your maid corrects her, causing the Jedi to look at her. 'She told me. And that's what Ahsoka says, but we think she's wrong. We think someone else is involved.'
'Who else could it be if not her?' Offee asks. 'Surely not Ahsoka.'
'No, I don't think it was Ahsoka either,' Skywalker says and Barriss slowly inches toward a pot in the corner of her room. 'We think both Ahsoka and Ventress are telling the truth, but there's only one way to find out.'
He lights his lightsaber and swings it at Barriss. But at the same time, she calls two red lightsabers from the pot and blocks his attack. Lanash jumps, not expecting this.
'Funny. Those belong to Ventress,' your husband says.
'You should've gotten rid of them!' your maid says, glaring at the female Jedi.
'I think they suit me,' she says and the Jedi start dueling. She ends up outside of her room and starts running. Anakin gives chase and they resume the duel. Your maid sighs.
'I hate running,' she murmurs but runs anyway. She's not as fast as the Jedi, so when she catches up to them, she sees Barriss jumping out of the window, as the Temple Guards have showed up. Skywalker jumps after her.
'Seriously?' Lanash groans and runs to exit a more normal way. Outside, she sees younglings and their teacher observing the duel. The Temple Guards are there as well.
'Okay, that's it,' your maid says and marches forward. Your husband and his opponent are staring each other down, when Offee senses someone behind her. She turns swiftly with now one lightsaber raised… and is met with a foot in her stomach. She falls straight into Skywalker's arms. She looks up at him and sags, defeated. Anakin looks up at Lanash, who was the one to do the kick, surprised.
'I see those sparring lessons have been fruitful,' he says, grinning. She blushes.
'Shut up,' she huffs and points at the traitor. 'Let's take her to Master Yoda.'
Some time later, the door to Ahsoka's room opens. She looks up and sees Yoda, Windu, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Lanash and you. She stands up, nervous.
'It was Barriss,' your maid says, going to sit down after all that running. 'See, I told you she was suspicious.'
'Barriss?' Tano asks, hurt and betrayed. You look at her with compassion.
'She was found with Ventress' lightsabers,' you explain. 'She confessed to everything. She… she believes the Jedi have lost their way. I'm sorry, Ahsoka.'
'We're sorry as well,' Kenobi adds. 'You shouldn't have been arrested in the first place.'
'Right, Queen [L/N] was,' Yoda says. 'Suspicious, it was. Glad you're innocent, we are. Forgive us, will you, hm?'
'The evidence was pointing at me,' Tano says after a moment. 'While I'm hurt you didn't trust me, I understand your hesitation. And I appreciate you fought for me.'
She looks at her master and you. You both smile at her. Windu turns to you and bows his head.
'We're grateful for your intervention, Your Majesty,' he says. You nod.
'I'm glad I could be the one to be able to help for once,' you say and walk to Ahsoka. 'I'm afraid I must go, but I'm glad you're going to be all right.'
You go for the hug. She embraces you. You press your lips to her ear.
'I know you feel betrayed, but please, don't leave the Order,' you murmur. 'Anakin needs you. They all do.'
'If you say so,' she says, not convinced, and pulls away with a smile. 'Thank you, [Y/N].'
You smile at her and turn to the Jedi. They bow to you and you nod your head.
'Safe travels, [Y/N],' Obi-Wan says, smiling.
'Visit us again soon, you do,' Yoda says.
'I will do my best,' you say and look at your husband. 'Anakin, could you please walk me to my ship? Hawk complains I didn't take more guards with me, maybe this will put him at ease. Besides, I want to hear all about your epic duel with Barriss.'
'Well, him and I agree on that,' Skywalker says, giving you an unimpressed look. You smile at him innocently and leave, followed by him, Lanash and your bodyguard. Of course, you and your husband walk together. Gods know you both deserve at least a moment of being together after all that.

How much have Magnifico and Amaya changed in Swap Au and what are the changes in their backstory (you mentioned that they also switched roles)? Does this mean that in Swap Au, the parallels between the villain and the hero are Amaya-Aster and Magnifico-Asha?
I WAS HOPING SOMEONE ASKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH I GET TO TALK ABOUT THESE FREAKS!!!
Alright, so in this swap au, it was pretty easy to imagine Star!Asha and Human!Aster, like, it's just them but Asha is more bubbly and optimistic while Aster is a bit more mature and realistic, nothing crazy... BUT THE ROYALS SWAPPING IS SO CURSED THE MORE I THINK ABOUT IT!
So let's talk about them one at a time:
Queen Amable the Sorceress
Backstory
Okay so for this to work, we'll change some things slightly. Amaya's backstory in this AU remains pretty much the same as Kow!Magnifico. Bla bla bla she wanted to be queen but didn't want to grant wishes and learning magic was too hard for her cause' her heart wasn't in it, badabim-badaboom her parents make a new heir.
However, this new sibling is not Florian, but oh don't worry, Florian will show up later. Swap Amaya had a sister, a sister named Harmona. You might remember her from the villains backstory I wrote way back. Originally Harmona was a mean girl that stole Amaya's boyfriend, but in this AU, Harmona is a good person, in fact, she's pretty much your typical Disney princess that wanted to study magic and one day become a good queen for Rosas
And a good queen she becomes indeed, leaving Amaya quite displeased for being casted out into the shadow of her little sister.
One day, a young man was found, passed out and floating adrift on a boat near the kingdom's shore.
Harmona ordered that he'd be brought to the castle at once, so she could help him with whatever he could need. Obviously the dude is our good ol' Swap Magnus
So Magnus explains he rather not talk about his past just yet, because it's oooh so traumatic, and all he wishes is to repay the queen's kindness by serving as her royal potion maker
Harmona agrees, seeing how her older sister seemed infatuated with the stranger
(Ya know, when you swap the genders it feels weird that Harmona is hooting for her sister to date this guy they just found at sea with no backstory, maybe I'm just looking too much into it but like, suddenly it's no longer a little sibling being a cool wingman and now it's more like "Wtf are you doing? He might be a sociopath" and indeed, he is)
Amaya fell head-over-heels for Magnus, but the guy just wouldn't reciprocate to her advances no matter what. But she knew the feelings were mutual.
Magnus admitted that indeed, he did love her, but to love means to hurt when that person is eventually gone, and that was a pain he didn't want to go through... Not again. (More on that in a bit)
But Amaya convinces him, saying they'll find a way to live happily EVER after. Saying he'll never lose her (lol and then years later she chases after Star!Asha into a storm and dies for a few minutes and he desperately brings her back to life, sacrificing his own youth lmao)
The two of them start dating, doing all that lovey dovey stuff like kissing, giving each other presents, plotting to kill her sister, baking cookies, all that good stuff.
1 year later and Harmona is dead.
Amaya rises to the throne, now with a magic staff she obtained in a quest. And after some practice with Magnus, she knows how to appear a lot more kind hearted and charismatic in the eyes of the public. Soon the two are nicknamed Queen Amable and King Magnifico (I considered renaming them different things so it's not so confusing but I can't think of anything, sorry)
Personality
The queen is a very passionate about giving her people everything they need, she's dramatic and has a larger than life personality. I know I've always said Kow!Amaya was inspired by Mother Gothel, but swap!Amaya here has that Gothel mannerisms to the MAX, like she's full on breaking into song here and there and cracking jokes that may be a lil bit passive aggressive if you pay close attention to what she's saying.
She has a bit of a temper that she does her best to keep under control when in public, but she's also very calculating, not letting her emotions take too much control over her.
She becomes more and more vicious as the story progresses, being absolutely ruthless in her pursue for Asha's magic and finding great joy in making Aster suffer along the way
I'll just let this image speak for itself
Appearance
Ooooh boy that's the best part! Pinterest here I come!
Alright, so first thing's first, in this Au Amaya is older than her husband, and unlike him, she doesn't like drinking youth potions, they taste horrible and cause a lot of pain before taking effect, so she let's herself age a lil bit, after all she is aging like a fine wine.
In conclusion, her hair is white.
And like Kow! Magnifico, she wears no crown, her hair IS her crown
How is her hair you may ask?... It's shaped like a rose
I can't quite decide if she'd have a rose on top and loose hair that give more of a elf vibe or if she'd have a rose shaped bun that give more of a bride vibe, ya'll decide in the comments
Her dress would be tones of white and gold.
King Magnifico the Warlock
If you play D&D like me you might have gotten all giddy seeing that tittle, thinking Mag made a pact with an evil entity or something, but nah, sorry, I'm just calling him "Warlock" cause' that's the male equivalent of a witch
Backstory
On Kow!Amaya's backstory, I was inspired by the greek myth of Persephone and Aphrodite fighting to win the affection of Adonis, but ultimately Adonis preferred Aphrodite.
But with Swap!Magnifico, I'll be taking inspiration from a certain other myth. The myth of Apollo and his lover Hyacinthus.
In the myth, Hyacinthus was a beautiful spartan prince, so beautiful, that he attracted the attention of not just one but TWO gods: Apollo god of the sun, music and prophecy, and Zephyr, the west-wind. However, Hyacinthus fell in love with Apollo first, which made Zephyr quite jealous. So jealous, that he went the "If I can't have you, no one can" route and straight up murdered Hyacinthus.
So yeah, you might already imagine where I'm going with this. So enough with the greek mythology class and let's go to Magnus version
Magnus was a young man that lived in a simple village in Greece, but he desired more in this life, to make a difference and help others
So, he started studying potion crafting, to heal the ill and rejuvenate the old, offering to help all of those in need. However, Magnus felt like the people didn't actually love him for who he was, they only wanted favors from him. He wondered if he'd ever meet someone that loved him for who he was
That's when our boy Hyacinthus shows up, but I'mma just call him Ryan for short.
So Magnus and Ryan fell deeply in love. But oh no, someone else is also in love with Ryan, can you guess who it is?.......... Yeah it's Florian, told ya we'd see him later
Florian was overtaken by jealousy, and decided that if he couldn't have Ryan no one else would.
One day, Manus and Ryan are partaking in a game of throwing a metal discus the highest they can. Florian takes this opportunity and once the discus falls in a place that they can't see, he steals it, hides behind some bushes while the couple is looking for their discus, and BONCS the metal discus right on Ryan's head, killing him.
Magnus did not see who the heck threw the discus. Consumed by grief, he locked himself away from the world for days, to mourn the death of his lover, but it didn't take long for people to come asking for more potions, more favors.
Magnus knew that whoever killed Ryan was in that village, he had no way of knowing who, but he knew one thing, they were all rotten, ungrateful pests that deserved a fate worse than death. Consumed by his wrath, he began to architect a plan.
So the gay go do crimes.
Magnus poisons their crops, thus cursing all the villagers, including Florian.
He sails off, running away from the few people that didn't get cursed, and later ends up lost at sea, until he's found by some sailors of Rosas. And the rest you already know.
Personality
So Magnifico in this AU functions as a calming and supportive husband for Queen Amable, though, although he's very gentle with her, his way of calming her is very... Unhinged.
Like, let's say Amaya is stressed because they can't find those dang kids, Magnus reaction to this is being like "Aww my darling, don't fret, I promise you as soon as they fall in our grasp I shall use my potions to turn their bones into mush, make their blood boil like hot oil, and we shall rejoice as we listen them pathetically shriek in pure, delicious agony" and he says all that in the sweetest voice you've ever heard.
He's like, an evil henchman, but that is actually competent, even though sometimes he can get a bit silly, which is very dangerous, don't get near him when he's getting the sillies
Honestly I might be more afraid of this version of Magnifico than the normal one, because the normal one at least has a fun showsman personality, this one just stays quiet most of the time in the background smiling menancingly, that is when he's not pretending to be nice to Aster, acting almost like a father figure, or showing his totally unhinged true nature. Terrifying.
Eh here's a meme for him too, it's basically their couple dynamic:
Appearance
Magnifico with a crown is cursed, but oh well, let's see what I can find on Pinterest
Alright, so straight up, he has Chris Pine's hair from the D&D movie. And he wears a relatively simple crown
His clothes are tones of white and blue with hints of yellow, taking some inspiration from greek clothing styles.
He wears the hood of his cloak often.
OKAY this took a while to write, but it was really fun imagining these alternate versions of the characters! Hope you liked them.
