I can’t stop thinking about how cosmically intertwined Roy and Jamie are. Like, the end of Roy’s career was pretty much the start of Jamie’s as we now know it. Roy finds ways to allow people space for what they need through him. They’re clearly two people who were destined to meet. Jamie is Roy’s continued legacy. Jamie’s successes bring Roy clarity. They only make each other better with every passing day & that just makes me feel like I’m being punted into the fucking air !!

always thinking about how daisy was probably severely depressed after the coffin because imagine living all your life with a concrete, singular purpose 24/7 and then losing that... her routine and sense of regularity was definitely messed up real bad and she'd have had to relearn how to go through a normal day especially since she literally has nothing to do and her sense of time was messed up by being in the coffin plus her only remaining connections in life are the staff in the archives (looks at her like a stranger, friendship born from shared trauma but also i-cannot-look-at-him-without-hating-myself, would rather be literally anywhere else, absent)

having thoughts about the way doctor who is sustained by the fans. it's more than a show really, it extends beyond television into other media and its central ideas go beyond media and into legend. the whole "everyone says the doctor's name at once to bring him back to life" thing going on in "last of the timelords" is ridiculous but. if you believe in something enough you can make it real. or give it a level of reality it could never have otherwise had. in the form of legends and mythology. and suddenly it doesn't matter if it were real at all - because it's so much more than that

When Senshi was young in the dungeon the majority of the adults he were with ostracized him. All except Gillin, who died to make sure Senshi had something to eat: unseasoned boiled meat that may or may not have been one of their comrades.

It really puts into perspective why he was so nurturing towards Chilchuck. When Chil reveals he’s 28 to the party, Senshi responds by telling him that he thought he was older. Senshi was in his 30s when he and his comrades got trapped in the dungeon, so it’s safe to assume that he thought Chil was at a similar age.

He met a young boy who was, from his perspective, forced to do dangerous work in the dungeon just like he was, and so, Senshi made an effort to look after Chilchuck in the same way Gillin looked after him.

Mind you, when Senshi was young in the dungeon he had to starve for weeks, eat the horse he loved, and finish it off spending the next i don’t know how many years wondering if he committed cannibalism.

Senshi understands first hand the value of nutrition and proper eating, so when he’s with the party he makes an effort to make sure they’re all eating a full and balanced diet. Not only that, but Senshi INVOLVES them in the process of getting food to eat, always preparing it in front of them and narrating every ingredient in the process so that there’s no doubt about what they’re eating.
