The end of season 2!!!#(Granted: this season was nearly twice the length of season one.)#It's been a really fantastic season to draw for. So many iconic moments! It was a lot of work but I had a blast B*)#I also enjoyed experimenting more and more with my comic style. I'm growing as a comic artist bit by bit!#There is even a little bit of shadowing in this one for next season. As a treat. All the fun (and not heart breaking) scenes to come!#Comic talk time: Recently saw 12 angry men for first time and I love the coincidence of the themes aligning here.#They both touch upon the horror of judicial systems - in which the most persuasive argument wins and the truth is a nuisance.#All it takes is one person to stand against the crowd and say 'I do not know what is true. And that is reasonable doubt enough.'#When the majority is for condemning someone guilty - that in itself is persuasive enough.#One will set their mind to what the 'truth' is and refuse to see it any other way. That their perspective is the only correct one.#No one is born with a monopoly on the truth.#Everyone has biases and agendas. Some care not for the outcome - only that they can be on the convenient side.#Lan Wangji is putting everything on the line to say 'I'm not going to go with the majority vote.'#And that is a huge deal in a story that is so politically focused as MDZS is. Everything is a careful chess move to these sects -#and to not play the game is basically sacrificing everything you are and your families name. For some it is unthinkable.#And there is no doubt in LWJ's mind. He would stand there and lose everything if it means upholding justice.#More importantly - these two have each other's backs. The bond is unbreakable. This is the most ride or die I have seen two people be.

#dcu #batman #bruce wayne #green arrow #oliver queen #fake tweets #things I was not able to adequately convey in the format:#obviously Bruce's reasoning is really a lot closer to Ollie's but Bruce has a secret identity to maintain and Ollie... well #I don't know if you can make it out but his twitter profile pic is him in the Green Arrow costume and that's not accidental #also I am pretty sure that Bruce does just have the first airing date of The Price is Right saved in a corner of his mind palace #just in case it's ever relevant to a case #and he's angry at Ollie because Ollie knows that and also knows Bruce can't admit it because it would raise too many questions #also I did consider an extra scene where they tag-team harass Lex #but it just didn't sound right to me #also I put a whole load of Green Arrow references in here #Q-Core N_Singh and H_Fyff are all from the Nu52 Green Arrow runs #albeit Naomi and Henry are at least in the good Nu52 runs #obviously this is post-Snowbirds Don't Fly/Hard Travelling Heroes in general so Oliver is trolling Hal and setting up needle exchanges #and even Hal explaining to Ollie what Twilight is is a reference to one of the most dated things about the Arrow pilot:#the extremely tacky Twilight joke #anyway hope you enjoyed!

catrin's every instinct had screamed at her to run from the moment the fighting started, no destination in mind and nowhere near the people she was far too keen to cling to. nowhere was safe, not when she already trusted so few and knew even fewer, and this place was about as foreign to her as the rest of prythian had been when she'd first arrived. when she'd been saved from hybern's clutches the first time. but the cauldron - made fae was no fool, and his henchmen hadn't been shy about the way they seemed to gravitate towards her whenever they got their sights on her. and while she was no fighter, by any means, she was a good runner, and elysia had been kind enough to give her a blade, only really capable at swinging it towards anyone that got too close. and she'd been doing real good until one had managed to grab her from behind, pale wings all she could see as they dragged her with far too much ease towards the mountain�� opening.

though she writhed in their grasp, whatever had their hold on the peregryn wasn't relenting, and catrin could see every bit of peace she'd built for herself flash before her eyes as cool night air hit her skin. they were going to take her. they were going to take her again, take her back to hybern and let her be his trophy experiment. tears pricked her eyes, cheeks already damp, and she loosed a small shriek they lifted from the ground, every effort she'd put into digging her heels in now futile. though she hadn't quite forgotten her first experience in the air, she was certain she preferred it to this one, being dangled above the ground that grew father away more and more rapidly. ❝ let me go ! let — me — go ! ❞ she screamed, each word punctuated with a flailing limb against whatever she could reach, twisting in their grip much easier in the air than on the ground. catrin wasn't sure she'd have much success, but something to seemed to cause their concentration to falter just slightly, enough for her to fight her way free at last — at the consequence of her now being painfully high in the sky and no way to slow her fall. cauldron cursed her and couldn't even give her wings for all her troubles. ❝ please ! ❞ another pitiful attempt to call for help, voice already terribly hoarse and coming out like a broken sob. ❝ anyone ? ❞

trying to go through the psycholonials tag why are you people saying the art is ugly and bad what the hell. did you actually read the whole thing or were you turned off by the Pixels on the first page

“it’s not as imaginative or interesting as anything in mspa” what the hell are you talking about.

do you understand how hard it is to get these colors to look this gorgeous together. do you even try to be immersed in zhens mental state (which is quite obviously what the art is evoking especially for characters like percy or the cops).

i would argue that not only is the juxtaposition of this style incredibly whimsical and fun as hell but actually some of it’s more technically advanced than art in homestuck

look at this guy! look at the level of rendering and shadow! how are you thinking this is ugly!
