oh yeah something interesting is there is a real invention, which is a canary resuscitation device. Though using a bird to sense dangerous gases is considered by some too cruel, people still wanted to preserve that little bird's life then treat it as disposable... i can imagine norton seeing a bird in one of these coming back from the brink as they evacuate and draw parallels to what he's stuck living also.
OH MY GOSH I DID NOT KNOW THIS OH MY GOSH
"The result was this cage and its captive canary. The circular door would be kept open and had a grill to prevent the canary escaping. Once the canary showed signs of carbon monoxide poisoning the door would be closed and a valve opened, allowing oxygen from the tank on top to be released and revive the canary"
OH MY GGOOOOSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
these poor babies, I sweaaarrrrr but it is amazing to know that they at least tried to keep them safe despite what the bird's job is ;;
Goooosh the vibe I get is that Norton likely checked on the canaries the most ;; I bet he felt a sense of understanding with them especially seeing that crazy contraption they are trapped in oh my gosh
The alarm when he sees the poor thing passed out one day and so he quickly shuts the door and opens the valve so only oxygen is reaching the bird as he runs out of the mine with em ;;
"they kill ya, just to bring you back to kill ya again..."
-----
I can see Norton pretty much having his own canary because he was always the first in the mines and the last to leave and in his own corners alone ;; it getting to the point he can recognize the canary he picks every time he goes down (and since he is always first he can always grab the same canary). Then him becoming close with the canary and taking it home with him (since no one likely waits until Norton finally climbs out of the mines to say 'no you can't take it home with ya') and letting it out so the bird can chill wherever comfortably. But on the day he is gonna blow everything up, I can imagine him letting the bird go, signifying them both getting their freedom. The bird finally able to fly away, then Norton's freedom through ending it all, or so he likely thought. (I can also see him sleeping in on that day so he can see the sun and let the bird go when it is sunny and bright outside) (like it seems the day the explosion happened, was actually at night, way after hours. wonder if it was a day off and they all met up at the golden cave late and not exhausted after a hard day's work. just primed and ready to find this gold 'nerdy norton' has all mapped out)
#THANK YOU FOR THE ASK!! I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THIS#AH SO FACINATING#IT MAKES ME CRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY#identity v#norton campbell#idv#idv prospector#idv norton#identity v norton#identity v norton campbell#ask#asks#minty answers#minty speaks#minty should not be awake right now LOL

You know, I would love it if we could see Mihawk just. Get slightly fucked up by someone, have his sword stolen and watch him figure out how to fight with some random ass sword instead
I just think. It'd be neat.
Like we kinda know how The World's Greatest Swordsman fights with his itty bitty knife, we know what kind of damage he can do with his iconic Yoru
I just think it'd be fun to see him fight with a regular katana and try to get his stolen sword back or summin' IDK
#Moon posting#Cross Guild#Mihawk#OP Spoilers#OP Meta#IDK something something Cross Guild can't pay for Garp's bounty so Blackbeard's crew goes and attacks them#Kidnaps Crocodile and Buggy to steal their abilities and takes Mihawk as captive to see if he'll join BB or not#Steal his sword in the meantime to give to his crew as a toy to play with or something#I don't know there's something about this scenario that facinates me#Also if Luffy and co went to save Garp from Blackbeard I could imagine a scenario where the crew find CG in the prison#And free them. And could you imagine Mihawk asking Zoro to borrow one of his swords while he goes gets his back or summin#I JUST THINK IT'D BE NEAT#This scenario facinates me. I would love to see it#Especially since we didn't really get to see that much of Zoro and Mihawk interacting so like. It'd be cute#Also like GENERALLY SPEAKING I would just love to see Mihawk in a 1v1 duel with someone OTHER THAN ZORO#(Or Shanks)#I dunno I think Mihawk is just Neat but we barely get to see him Do Things so it'd be so fun to see him Do Things#Break Week is hitting hard. It's been So Many Months and we still have no idea where the CG subplot is going#I can only speculate and make 50 different suggestions for where the story could go from here#(I say ''break week is hitting hard'' on the Friday evening after 1101 was released unofficially)#(This week is gonna be rough y'all lmao)

If I had the power to become a Disney bitch that can just remake one of their classics because that's what Disney does these days, id remake Aladdin.
It'd still be animated and the goal would be a consistent style trilogy (without the sudden and sharp drop in animation quality preferably please god).
Completely scrapping the 'return of Jafar' plot line, I'd make the second movie in the trilogy about exploring the ramifications of aladdin's wish. He did not wish to *look* like a prince, he wished to BE a prince. Somewhere out there aladdin is the prince of some country or city or something and I would love to explore that as a technicality to aladdin and jasmine trying to get married. Especially if perhaps that kingdom is NOT on good terms with agrabah. They're trying to get all the arrangements done and theres a big joke about paperwork and getting the prince-requirment law squared away and then bam, the "well actually-" comes from genie and the rest of the movie is about exploring this new territory of aladdin. Who is marrying into Royalty and Politics, actually having to deal with some of that.
And then at the end of the movie, when all of that is sorted out, genie drops the second "well actually-" that aladdin was always sort of a prince anyway. Just not the inherited of any kind of land. You see, al, buddy, your dad's a king of thieves.
Movie three is that the wedding is once, again, delayed. Because now we have to deal with the fuckin ramifications of "what the fuck do you mean I'm the son of a famous criminal?" And the revelation that genie actually knows aladdin's parents. Movie three includes returning to the Magic Treasure Hoard where aladdin initially gets the lamp- "only One May Enter Here" being that aladdins father (deceased) left the cave as a sort of will of his treasure trove, a bounty worthy of a King Of Thieves. Including the most valuable artifact of the trove, the Genie In The Lamp, the most valuable treasure that was responsible for aladdin's fathers success as the king of thieves in the first place. We see some stories of Genie and Aladdins father- from rags to riches via crime, maybe the love story of aladdin's parents, (maybe some hints to why genie says "i dont like doing it" as to being able to bring back the dead rather than outright "i cant do it") and plausibly that the genie and aladdins father made the same deal, I'll use my two wishes and then free you, but (possibly following that failed attempt to bring back the dead as in trying to bring back aladdin's dead mother shortly after aladdin is born?) In the grief of that failure aladdin's father decides to use his last wish (possibly to arrange the Cave of Wonders for his sons inheritance or something) and ultimately betrays genies trust.
We get a little heart to heart with aladdin and genie- "I don't think your dad was a bad guy, per se, but-" and the classic Disney "what matters is that you kept your promise, and that's why I've stuck with you even after freedom, it's the magic of friendship"
and then once we work out reparations of the cave of wonders - using all of that stolen fortune inheritance to better aladdin's accidentally aquisitioned kingdom, and provide agrabah a stable fucking childcare system for orphans, and a whole other musical mintage of do-gooding, they FINALLY get their royal wedding- a unity wedding between these two lands and isn't it glamorous.
ON A COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE.
The whole big damb deal where Aladdin and Jasmines partnership is weighted against the genies freedom is so stupid when you consider. Aladdin could have just fucking handed the lamp to Jasmine? 3 more wishes. They solve the whole thing in movie one. Jasmine gets the lamp, makes a wish that Jafar will never escape the cave of wonders, wishes that there were bo laws restricting her personal freedoms any more than anyone else (marry who she wants AND go to the market) and then a third wish that argrbah under her rule will know ages of peace and tranquility. Then she hands that damb lamp back to Aladdin, Aladdin wishes the genie free, big happy celebration fireworks scene. (They do the heart to heart thing where they say they'll miss eachother after genie cuts himself off from talking about seeing the world. Obviously. That still needs to happen. They're friends, you honor.)
#Aladdin and the King of Thieves#aladdin#i have so many more thoughts about this than you think#munchatter#there was so much oppertunity for cohesion with aladdin sequels#and they just took NONE of the oppertunities#if you gave me a disney budget ibwould sit down and write out thr whole damn trilogy#after the first movie jafar at BEST maybe gets a haloween short come-back#but that is IT#he was an analogue for corruption and power and that worked for the first movie#he was facinating and scary in the first movie and then afterward fuckit#the only thing left in the cave of wonders is Jafar at the end of everything#and Only One May Enter There#so he will never see the light of day thanks#dbhxzhhs#demanding that my theoretical versions of the movie really highlight genie friendship#idk what the fuck i would do about not having robin williams do the voice though#who the fuck would play genie? not homer simpson#im a little bit obsessed with the idea of recreating aladdin as a trilogy but Good#cause lets face it everything after the first movie is kindaaaaaa :(

Childermass & Segundus - it sounds very well
So one day the York Society of Magicians receives a new member, and Childermass is like okay, no big deal, those guys never do anything interesting anyway.
But then, right, then the new guy and one of the old guys writes to Mr Norrell and asks if they may have the pleasure of waiting on him sometime, and Mr Norrell is like "No" but Childermass is like "Actually yes" because he's intrigued, or because the cards have told him something is about to happen, or because Mr Norrell is years overdue to go to London and revive English magic and Childermass figures this might jostle him into doing something. We don't know what exactly happened, but it seems likely that it was Childermass who made the visit possible, because the idea of Mr Norrell ever wanting visitors is impossible to accept.
So these two theoretical magicians come to Hurtfew Abbey, and Childermass is in the library waiting for the visit to end and Norrell to show up and tell him what the men wanted, but instead, when the door opens, there they are, the visitors, having been invited to see the library and what the fuck did they say to old Gilbert to make that happen?? Not that it matters, they're not gonna remember anything by the time they get home, the enchantments will see to that.
Mr Norrell introduces Childermass, and the new guy gives him a look like Childermass facinates him, but Childermass is used to that. He figures he'll just hang out until they leave.
Except the new guy, who is a dark, timid-looking little man named John Segundus, keeps looking around like he can sense the spells lighting the room, keeps looking out the window like he's not happy with the orientation of the walls, keeps blinking like the magic is making him a little dizzy. John Segundus is clearly magic sensitive. No one in the York Society is magic sensitive, Childermass knows that for a fact. This is suddenly intriguing.
So Childermass ends up keeping half an eye on Mr Segundus as he explores, until Mr Segundus notices, sensitive as he is, and their eyes meet. Childermass reads longing, need, delight and confusion on the man's face, but Childermass is without pity; by the time Mr Segundus gets home, he won't remember what he's seen. It doesn't matter; no one in the York Society ever did anything interesting anyway.
But then later, the letter from Dr Foxcastle comes, and Mr Norrell is Upset and Offended, and Childermass realises that the Revival is about to start at last. And because Mr Norrell is fearful and Childermass is pitiless, they send a lawyer with their demands.
Mr Robinson the lawyer returns to Hurtfew a little perplexed. Oh yes, they all signed, just like you said they would, every one of them ... except ... except one. Childermass is a little surprised to discover that the timid little man had a spine after all. Mr Norrell wants Mr Robinson to go back and demand the last signature, but Childermass says "Wait". And at this point, we do not know what he is thinking. Perhaps he simply thinks that they will need someone to write to London once the miracle has been done, and Mr Segundus is more likely to be amiable if he has not just been deprived of his calling. But then, Mr Honeyfoot, the other visitor, would definitely be happy to write, even though he WILL be deprived of that same calling. Perhaps, Childermass thinks that this is a strangely fateful twist, that the one member of the York Society who has an actual talent for magic is the one person who refused to give it up. Maybe he remembers a time when he himself was full of longing for magic, when he could sense it all around him but was unable to grasp it, when he too would get dizzy in Mr Norrell's library. He may not feel pity, but he can be intrigued. He convinces Mr Norrell to let Mr Segundus be.
Childermass laughs inside when John Segundus doesn't recognise him outside the cathedral, but then startles when the man almost recalls after all. He is not supposed to be able to break the enchantment. Thankfully, the moment passes, and after the magic is done, Mr Segundus turns out to be exactly as easy to manipulate as Childermass thought he would be. The polite ones are easy, especially when they are full of need and longing, and keep looking at Childermass like he has the answers they are searching for. Maybe Childermass uses a little bit of magic to persuade the man to write to London, or maybe he just smiles, and waits, and lets John Segundus come to him of his own accord.
Childermass returns to Hurtfew Abbey and says to his master "Go to London. Go now." and because Childermass knows about these things, they go.
And nine years pass in London.
But occasionally during those nine years, Childermass turns his attention to York, to see what timid little John Segundus is up to. Mostly it's not much.
Until Jonathan Strange happens. That he happens at all is rather extraordinary, but how interesting that he should come to seek Mr Norrell on the advice of John Segundus? For sure there are many people with an affinity for magic in England, but how many of them are magicians? Too few, thinks Childermass. How likely is it that two of them should meet at random? He wonders if this is another fated twist.
So he continues to keep half an eye on York, just in case Mr Segundus should discover how to actually grasp the magic that surrounds him. But when Strange returns from the war in Spain, his conversation tells Childermass that even with the learning, even with actual spells to hand, their timid little man in York cannot make the magic work.
John Segundus begins taking on pupils. Childermass keeps it from Mr Norrell. Childermass has been the instrument of many a theoretical magician's destruction, Childermass reads the hearts of men and feels no pity for them, and yet Childermass keeps John Segundus hidden from Mr Norrell. Maybe, just maybe, John Childermass is beginning to feel a little bit of pity after all. He was once the one longing to master the powers that often overpowered him. He too loves magic so much, enough to endure servitude and secrecy to be near it.
But then John Segundus wants to start a school. Well, if he is going to be that silly, then Childermass cannot help him. Mr Norrell finds out, Mr Norrell panics, and he dispatches Childermass to York to put a stop to this evil plan. Business as usual in other words.
Childermass sits quite comfortably on the steps of Starecross when John Segundus comes home. Childermass delivers his message.
"You know me, Sir," he says, completely forgetting that while he has always had half an eye on John Segundus, John Segundus has not seen Childermass for nine years. Maybe, just maybe, Childermass is a little embarrassed at his mistake. But the errand is completed, and Mr Segundus is easy to manipulate, because he is so very gentle and polite.
Childermass may or may not have noticed that he has been manipulated in turn, because he, who has no pity for any man, lets Mr Segundus know that he regrets that the school cannot be, and he is willing to do what he can to keep Mr Segundus' dream from failing entirely. Although of course, he knows that a regular school is not at all the same as a school of magic.
Childermass knows what it's like to long, but he has found, if not the answers to his questions, then at least the tools by which to hunt them down. He can do the magic.
Then Mr Strange and Mr Norrell quarrel.
And then Lady Pole tries to shoot Mr Norrel. The lady walks with one foot in Faerie and one in London, and for a while, so does Childermass. Something is not right with the lady, but Mr Norrell won't tell him what magic he employed to bring her back from the dead. She'll be sent away somewhere where Childermass will have no chance to discover the truth. Unless of course he decides where she goes. Perhaps for instance to one whom Childermass knows will feel the Faerie winds blowing about the lady, someone who will be able to carry on the search for the truth, whether he knows that he's doing Childermass' work or not. Mr Segundus is easy to manipulate.
Childermass recommends to Sir Walter that he send his wife to Starecross in Yorkshire. How fortuitous that the master of that hall has just decided to open a madhouse there. Surely the visions that gave him the idea were entirely coincidental.
Mr Norrell and Childermass quarrel.
Jonathan Strange Returns magic to England. The Raven King returns to England and rewrites his book.
Mr Norrell and Mr Strange disappear into Faerie.
Suddenly, Childermass is the most experienced magician in England. No one has read as much, has practiced as much, or knows the spells he knows.
But he thinks that there is one man who will not be far behind him in achieving similar results. And maybe Childermass wonders sometimes if it was not all meant to be this way, that it was fate, that he himself was meant to come out on the other side as a student of the two great modern magicians of the age, and that he was meant to bring with him, sheltered under his wing, a dark, timid little man with an extraordinary sensitivity to magic. The books may be gone, but through his instruments, the Raven King has made sure that the new generation of magicians are both capable of and eager to read the magic written on the sky. It will take sensitive men, full of longing, and isn't it fortuitous then, that all those years ago, in the library at Hurtfew Abbey, Childermass recognised another like himself in John Segundus, and decided to keep half an eye on him.
#Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell#John Childermass#John Segundus#My little theory#This is based on the idea that the prophecy is actually the Raven King's plan to return magic to England#In which case Childermass must be the one Uskglass chose to spearhead the Restoration after Strange and Norrell affected the Return#We so often talk about how Segundus sees Childermass#But I am facinated by the other side of JohnSquared#Because it is interesting that Segundus was allowed to not sign the agreement when Childermass MUST HAVE KNOWN that he was the only man#in the York Society who might actually do practical magic someday#(Probably it's not as black and white as that but let's say so for our purposes here)#It certainly wasn't Norrell who agreed to let Segundus go - it was definitely Childermass' decision#And in the chapter called Starecross Childermass says “I turned a blind eye” - not “we” or “Mr Norrell” - but “I”; he's been watching#It seems to me that he is been protecting Mr Segundus from Mr Norrell for years - in little ways here and there#Mostly just by making sure Segundus didn't come to Norrell's attention#And then he expresses his regret that the school cannot be!#That's at least a halfpennyworth of pity Sir! You're not supposed to have that for adult or child!#I guess he has pity for baby birds#But they do have that thing in common (along with Vinculus) that they have an affinity for magic#But Childermass has access to the library at Hurtfew while Segundus and Vinculus only get scraps#And Childermass is allowed to do magic while the other two have to wait for the Return before they can control it#And I figure that maybe he can find in himself a little bit of pity for someone in that familiar situation#Not to mention that - being mostly a good man - Childermass is not immune - I think - to Segundus' kind and gentle nature#JohnSquared#Btw I haven't completed my current reread so apologies if I've forgotten something or gotten something wrong#You see how the details disappear towards the end :P#I also owe some of this to the Tor.com reread of JSAMN which is worth checking out for some great observations!

//I've been having thoughts with the reverse time thingy and there are three main 'phases' to Ghostspire.
First is Starfall, the mech he was before his wings were torn off and he was betrayed. A noble with his spark on his sleeve and a need to do good. Be there for the people, for those who can't fight against the oppression themselves. Using his credits, skills and everything he can to do what he can for the people.
Second is right after the experiments he went through. Half feral, with few bouts of clarity. Traveling from city to city, gutter to gutter to eat whatever poor mech crosses his path. The sparkeater showing in unhinged jaw and tendrils, tearing mechs to shreds as he devours what he can and leave half-mutilated corpses in his wake. If you could befriend him, you'd see him around often. Grayed out frame like a walking corpse. It's where the 'ghost' came from. Enforcers were always his favorite corpses though.
And present. All there most days, tired and knowing how to manage his hunger so he doesn't go feral. Hunting bounties and revenge to try and get some sense of normalcy. A quiet shell of the mech he once was. Far more reserved, keeping his pain to himself. It's his burden, after all. Why should he share it with anyone else?
#ooc#thoughts and ideas#the development of characters is so facinating to me#especially with how it affects there present life#not wveryone starts out bad#not everyone starts out good#but they all start somewhere#oki now time for rp

as a purely personal preference i honestly kind of wish sm/2099 had more self contained issues and/or specials, since the restrained format seems to really prompt the writers (PAD as well as the guest writers of the specials) to play around with and explore a particular niche of the world building implications of 2099 upon the characters.
#i honestly want to read some more of PAD's work because i get the impression that he gets kind of. lost??? narratively sometimes??? on the#journey to get where he wants to go w the point of the arcs#the first ten issues are - imo - as good as they are w their pacing Because they would've been the pitch arc yknow?#arc 2 has a Really interesting core idea that its driving at (exploring what the prevelance of cults and new faith religiosity#in 2099 is all about) but by the time you GET to the core of that arc it feels like weve lingered too long in the question of#'are supes back?' instead of exploring what that MEANS to the characters (and the fuckign xmen crossover oh lord <- hater disease)#because the mystery of 'are supes back' is just. honestly not that interesting when you dont explore what Effects this would have on miguel#esp right out of the gate of his first Real Spiderman Identity Actualisation. 'spiderman 2099 meets spiderman' seems to retroactively speak#to all of that characater unpacking i WANTED from arc 2 but the fact of the matter is that - imo - 2 spends too long on the set up and too#little on the implications of the answers WHICH ARE FACINATING ANSWERS.#also AS a hater of crossovers i just think dooms inclusion is very disjointed in the story. hes got some interesting stuff to say when hes#around but when he disappears for like 20 issues and by the time he does a military coup (the buildup to which was in his OWN run) ur just#kind of disorientated by his reemergence in the narrative. comic reader complains about hallmarks of the medium SURE but like.#for STORYTELLING purposes i feel like this isnt the best. like to prioritise reiterating miguels venom abilities so new readers know whats#going on w him but assuming its not going to be disorientating if doom suddenly injects himself into the narrative#where the stakes and buildup are in a COMPLETELY different run and never alluded to just honestly sucks as storytelling to me#like ur going to give new readers a power run down of the protagonist of THE RUN??? but not coordinate foreshadowing for your own crossover#???? like i KNOW that would be a lot of work but its also like. why NOT make the effort to do it effectively yknow?#tunes talks critical#man this went all over the place#tunes talks 2099

Stuck on prompt 5 for (a very late and overdue) khoc week; not because I don't know what to do, but because there's so many things I want to do.
Sort of a ramble about this below: 👇
Also some sliiight spoilers for themes (couldn't help myself) with my fic, but it helps explain why I'm struggling to get something out for this specifically.
Each of my main OCs is an embodiment of the complexities of experiences that can't be defined by light or darkness, especially Zorya who literally is a being of darkness that is trying a third way of handling it; not controlling to destroy it (Xehanort and Eraqus' ideals, or rather the "teachings of light") or even embracing it and accepting it (first step that Riku found), but believing in it; seeing your flaws as a wound to heal, a possibility to be realised, just like how you love people and believe in them, she wants to believe in herself and love herself in ways she hasn't been able to. To kit hate your flaws or see them as something to be "fixed" but loved and cared for. I think Kingdom Hearts is leaning into that in the next arc, but it's not quite there yet.
Meanwhile the other two are also examples of this but in different ways. Yoru is more like Riku and delves into that "first step", but like Riku he still hates and fears his own flaws. He hasn't really fully embraced the fact he's just a person and is allowed to have those flaws yet, same as Riku (which is partly why I'm excited for the aspect of him being in Quadratum since I think both he and Sora will realise that while fighting the personification of that fear and hate towards darkness). Yoru still thinks that he's a bad person for being too curious, too scared, too angry, too this or that. But he also wants to embrace it and change. Which is all great and all when it comes to wanting to be a better person, but he's still healing. And pushing a wound that's still open won't heal it, it'll just worsen it. I want to show that, but it can't really be summed up with just light or darkness; it's both.
And Taiyo is probably the most interesting of all when it comes to the question. He believes he's strictly light, he wants to uphold his teachings and be what he was taught to be. He's exactly like Eraqus and any other Keyblade Master before that, but the thing is he doesn't have a Keyblade and he is forced to realise how human he is. He's a lot like Aqua in that regard, forced to face his limits and understand his own humanity and inadequacy when compared to the perfectionism pushed by his teachers and peers. He has to unlearn all of the toxicity and realise a heart is more than just a means of good or evil, it's also an identity; a means of love and happiness, it's also about caring for oneself as a person, not a tool. So he would say light absolutely, but like every other person, he has his flaws. Even if he himself doesn't acknowledge them.
I want to explain this all in a way that isn't just a long monologue, but by instead showing it. Yet, I also don't want to spoil the full character arcs I have planned in my fic itself or its story and every single theme in it.
Also, darkness and light are treated very delicately in my fic and with my OCs, so I tend to put a lot of thought in whenever I want to show their connections to light or darkness, because it's always very much related to mental health and self discovery and self care. It's about realising that light and darkness are subjective; mailable and unclear. But with that, there's so many ways to show it. I get so excited by that too, which in turn has me writing various drafts and having so many different ideas that it's hard to settle on just one to go with.
TLDR: This will probably be the longest and most thoughtfully written out of all the prompts. The reason I stopped with the last one is because I'm so excited to really make something that makes fans of the series think about what light and darkness really are in regards to this universe. I know it's just a little fun prompt and I don't have to. But I want to. It's fascinating and I think it's a great way to introduce people to the themes of my fic and the ideas these characters all embody.
#not exactly a submission but more an update into one lol#a bit of a long explanation and essay into this#im facinated with the idealogical concepts and philosophy in KH so this is gonna be a big one for me#im just way too excited and love the ideas behind light and darkness to NOT make it a big thing

it literally must be a gg only thinks about spades and diamonds ships today huh.
#Looks out my window..#i was thinking about ancestral depictions.. like the whole shadowy figure thing me thinks that is recorded down snd man#how fucking baller do u think the depections of fish to fish would be... or maybe like hard carry or even cocked and loaded#OR misfire??? The idea of them kinda trying to capture their specific bonds and relationships is facinating#but i wanna say no matter what i rlly adore the idea of Lammeks records rlly showing how much he genuinely cares for#the peopke in his life. quads or just friends. People he fought for //agony#and i rlly am fascinated how people would record Nakaou down because .. the guy is elusive as he is known?#Not rlly particularly open and forward by aspects so itd probablt be word of mouth of this friendly guy who was a lil off#and the kinda friends and circles he surfaces in. Its always a good thing to see the guy. Means there is some kinda good he sees in eveyone#idk just rambles into the night. Puts my gay little sleeping cap on and rolls over

imagine the world where we got the saints row wii port
#of all the things. i think about this the most. fascinated by that#facinating bc 1) How would those controls work. i mean i have some ideas but i’d really love to know how it was actually planned#and 2) the wii was successful bc of its family-friendly image. not to say more mature games weren’t available bc they were but like#this was Early wii days. so it’s wild to me this could’ve been a port within a year of the console’s launch#or even potentially a same-day release. lol#like the wii only came out like three months after sr1 released. idk man. wild.

Today I was looking over student drafts for their Great Gatsby essay and this one kid clearly plagiarized his, but if it wasn’t obvious enough Daisy was consistently being referred to as “Flowers”, Nick was once referred to as “ding” and two mystery characters named Black and Turkey were mentioned multiple times in the paper. I brought it to my coteachers’ attention and laughing at it was one of the highlights of my day.
#the other highlights included my students All doing their assignment 4th period#and my work crush/coteacher saying that Megan (our other coworker) said me and him should have a podcast together and her immediately going#‘no I did not’ and I have no idea what was said but I’m intrigued by this imaginary podcast because his train of thought is genuinely so#facinating to me like yesterday he asked me if I believed in the United Nations and then just kept asking me if I believed in random topics#I was sittin there trying to grade poetry work and every 30 seconds it was ‘do you believe in deforestation? do you believe in air pollution#?’ want to beat him with a stick and kiss him on the mouth he’s so annoying 😭#sam rants

once my friend said that sometimes it seems like i don’t want a girlfriend and just want to be some girls pet and like. yeah okay sure, but is that really all people see in me. is that what they think i’m only capable of? i want to give so much, i want to fill them with so much love and make them feel safe and loved and adored. i Do want to do more than just be a pet, i want to be a Provider, i want to take care.
#kitty talks#maybe that is animal behaviour. maybe i jsut wanna be a guard dog. idk. i just feel weird#it sucks but i cant see myself in a relationship and idk if its cause im insecure but the thought of someone chosing me and staying is. fake#and i think everyone can tell too. i think thats it. thats the thing that makes ppl stay back#sometimes i think ny autistic brain and its facination with shows fucked me over bc i love the idea of grand gestures.#i want a grand gesture that wipes away every little doubt ive ever had snd that makes me think Fuck why was i so riddled in worry#anything in oublic would embarrass me. id be shy. but id still gush. idk. i want personal thiught out expressions of love#man im high and just cant stop thinking. im just so lost. i dont even know how to feel. it feels weird reverting back to highschool +#mentality but Nothibg is ever rnkugh and will never be enkigh and ill always keep asking for more snd more no matter what till i break them#gonna attempt to put an experienced adult point of view on it tho and say that i think nothing will evrr be enoigh for anyone#but that whatever is there is good and it will stay good snd if it gors something else will be good. the world is so fucking shitty to us#but i will still love despite it. people will still love me#i will get a girlfriend some day. or not. and itll fill me up. or be bad for me. i just need to take csre of myself snd my loved ones#and i can live on that. i guess. idk. bye

Funn oddity, both Ellie and Travaldo have the last name Jones. Idk if they're siblings or if it's just a coincidence, but a fun thing nonetheless
#rat rambles#its probably just a coincidence since ellie is relevant enough that we'd probably know if she had a sibling that worked at the same place#but it is quite silly indeed#also Ill need to see about adding some stuff to the wiki maybe since I am being haunted by the fact that my boy is listed as a nobody#my boy being askhan hes dr.ali#his full name is askhan seyer ali :]#hes my beloved chef who gets his own personal fancy bedroom since he needs light to sleep in my current run#oh also Ill have to double check this but I think devon might have two last names?#mostly because if Im remembering correctly most of the work emails are pretty typical first initial last name style#but devon is reffered to as dr.mason while their email implies it would be ross#so either they have multiple last names used a middle name for one or got their last name changed after getting their work email#ok just double checked and yep theyre the Only one who uses a different name in their email#I did find one weird thing tho#Im not sure if its a mistake or not but in one of the emails thats talking to a director abt an engineer it says it was sent by jackie#Ill have to double check in game once I get back to it#but if that is the case then thats very interesting in a way that only matters to me lol#mostly that its one of the very few glimses we get into jackie's past#or technically potentially present but I dont rly buy that#but yeah the idea of getting to in the future learn more abt jackie's old(?) boss facinates me deeply#I have like a billion thoughts abt things they could do with that or simply imply with it but thats just me fantasizing#oni posting
