hi everyone, i wasn't sure if i was going to make a statement about the current situation but reading all of my mooties statements made me wanna share my thoughts.

i'm sure most of us are aware of the situation that has happened and i just want to take moment to discuss how fucked up that is. it's not only fucked up but straight up vile and disgusting. leaking a face reveal of a minor is something that is absolutely awful. you have no right to do that and it says everything about the type of person you are.

i don't think i'm actually moots with the person who had their face leaked, but i just want to say how sorry i feel for them. as a minor on the younger side, i would be so scared if that happened to me. not only would my face permanently be on the internet, but i also have people that i don't even know degrading me with such awful and disgusting words. to whoever the victim was, i hope you are holding up okay and please know that many of us are here to support you. please don't listen to these low-life people's opinions.

the fact that someone genuinely feels the need to come onto what's supposed to be a safe place and slander someone for their appearance? do you know how fucked up that is? you probably don't even know the person you're hating on. some people really need to get off their asses and go the fuck outside and touch some grass. words hurt. and once again, this is a minor we're talking about. i know for a fact that as a minor myself, i have felt very insecure about myself and it really doesn't feel good to get hated on my someone who i don't even know.

enhablr is not the same as it used to be last year. i know i wasn't a writer back then but i remember when people were actually able to feel safe in this community. i don't know what goes through people's heads when they decide to come onto enhablr, which is literally supposed to be a safe place, and hide behind anon, only to hate on someone's writing or appearance. that's absolutely fucked up.

as a 14 year old who's almost 15, i feel more scared than i have ever right now on blr. i joined this community so i could make friends and relationships online, not to see my friends being absolutely degraded for stupid shit.

to all those anons who have hated on my moots and any other writer who doesn't deserve any hate whatsoever, fuck. you. there is absolutely no need to do what you do and if you have something to say, hop the fuck off anon.

I've been playing w the idea that the more Danny transforms, the more his ghost form gets "lively" while his human form gets weaker and more sickly. He knows that if he keeps transforming like this then, one day, he's not going to have a livable body to go back to, but he really doesn't want to think about all that. He's more interested in the weird "totally dead but not dead" Wayne son who may or may not have a thing for his sister.

everytime i do one these im like "this time I'll keep it simple so I don't have to suffer through colouring bc I have zero foresight—it'll be greyscale at most" and then all of the sudden its 4am and i'm trying to finish a stupid comic but i decided to add "some" colour to spice it up and hide my shitty ink job and then SOME COLOUR ALWAYS BECOMES FULL COLOUR WHY CAN I NOT ESCAPE THIS STUPID CYCLE!!

(did this all stem from me not being able to decide between a super pale character design and one w a vibrant tan bc I love white hair + tan but I also love extremely pale albino so I forced myself to find a way to make both work? never! that's absurd!)

There's a lot that's factually wrong here, but perhaps the most frustrating is the fanciful narrative that Martha Manning Laurens went off on a daring, romantic jaunt to see her husband. The reality was far from that, even from what little remains of her historic footprint, so it's a weird angle to spin.

Martha had spent over four years in London caring for their daughter on her own and making repeated pleas to travel to America. John found a reason to rebuff all of these, not because of her "delicate health" but rather on account of the risk of the voyage (which, admittedly, was not trivial). Most likely, his underlying reasoning was more selfish – having his family close by would require him to divide his time and attention, an inconvenince he was not willing to take on when there were more glorious things to do.

Left behind, ignored and dismissed, it is reasonable to conclude that Martha dared the journey to France in a last-ditch attempt to meet up with John and to travel back to America in his company (a plan he could hardly refuse). However, according to Massey, the reunion probably never happened, in part because Martha only learned of John's presence in Paris when he was already wrapping up his mission. He doesn't seem to have bothered to inform her ahead of time, and it certainly didn't occur to him that this would have been a convenient and expedient way to bring his wife and daughter home with him. (This man spent a month on a boat. It's not like he didn't have time to think about this.)

We don't need to – and shouldn't – exonerate John's poor treatment of Martha and Frances by plastering over it with this kind of romantic revisionism.

Mc: *points hoof at Beel* "Beel. I know you have survivors guilt but Lilith ended up living with humans like she wanted, Belphie doesn't need you standing up for him all the time, and you needn't continue to try to fill the hole inside you by eating in a restaurant that has no more food when you could just go down the street to another food place!"

Silence was all that could be heard in the House of Lamentation, the brothers still as statues with varying amount of widened eyes, staring at the small being that they cherished that had just ripped into them so aggressively

After a minute ofa dead silent pause, Mc turned off their phone, hopped off the couch and started walking to the living room exit

Mc: "Honestly, I didn't expect to become a therapist for demons when coming here, and now I can't even read my enemies to lovers book in even somewhat peace.... I don't get paid enough for this."

They then disappeared from the brothers' sight, left to wrap their heads around what just happened

And the arguement that started it all? Who was going to make dinner that night
