Unexpected TAI Update

For months—and honestly ever since I broke this project up into a full fledged series, I had felt that there was just something “off” about having Volume I end with the Battle of Monmouth in June of 1778. Not that this is a bad moment to function as an ending, but this meant that halfway through the book, we would be introduced to a whole new set of characters, Alexander’s motivation would shift drastically, and a very important plotline would be introduced at the 80% mark. This back half felt… almost like a whole nother book that I tried to cram in there.

Then it hit me this morning: it is. I have to split Volume I in half. Again.

Now to go agonize over what to do with this remaining year and a half chunk of plot…. Send help.

... If Freddie ends up marrying a random noblewoman after Jonathan dies in the Freddie Hayes AU, I doubt he'd take much after Edward in regards of being a husband of father

He'd just... be hollow and distant. Not at all like how he was when Jonathan was alive.

Because his heart is buried w Jonathan and he doesn't know how to cope w that besides just isolating himself
