Yeah... so with the improvemnts (is that the word? I'm not native english) in the Neil Gaiman situation I feel like I can finally say my unpopular opinion.

Good Omens was mid. That was the most mid show with the most mid writing I ever seen! The book also had insanely mid writing but only occasionally.

I have both his and Terry's works so if I wanna find out who's tone I liked I'll have to read Terry.

I will not be reading his books for a while if ever.

BUT OH MY GOD! I'M so glad I can speak now! I don't wanna be that person but I really just don't get it. What was there to like?! I mean the actors played it good and the concept was interesting but the actual writing was so mid it was bad! I was bored out of my mind!

I don't think improvements is what you were looking for because that applies the situation has gotten better in some way which it hasn't

My only guess is escalation (as in, further/more intense things happening) but I can't know what word you meant to use im sorry
