still thinking about how the first night after dusknoir did The Funny and how it absolutely crushed aimilios emotionally, but moreso how everything was seen from *ribbons'* perspective. how many nights do you think she laid there, eyes wide as all she could hear was his whimpers and cries as he so desperately wished that dusknoir would come back. that all of this was just one big misunderstanding, that he didn't mean to set him off by accident, so desperately believing that all of what had happened was just a bad dream. how enraged do you think she had that dusknoir had done something so cruel to them that left the kid at such a state that he wants the same individual that saw him as nothing but disposable *at best* to come back and act as though all of this was just play-pretend, but also angry that aimilios still believed that dusknoir would still come back. for him. for her. that what happened in the dark future was a reality, and one that was tearing the two apart because they had been played for utter fools. she's just as betrayed, just as hurt, but she isn't like aimilly.

even if she wishes so hard that she could think the way he did.

and how much do you think she had to see him hold it all and putting on a safe face when people asked if he was okay, if he needed something, anything, and insisting that he was completely fine solely for how much his "self worth is tied to usefulness" mentality must've flared at up at this point just for the sake of not seeming more weak than he already was (because if he was too weak to make dusknoir stay, what would that mean for everyone else) and at just to not bear his beating, folly heart more than he already did, because we all know what happened the last time that happened. do you think it hurts her. to see him burn himself up and exhaust himself like that. anyways how was your day

wait im getting kinda excited to turn 23...im actually really proud of everything im doing right now. im engaged, getting my cosmo license, i have a lot of really cool new friends that treat me with the honesty and respect i deserve, i have one of the highest paying jobs among my peers rn, people respect my art and literally hundreds of people follow me to see it and some of them tell me how good it is. like yeah im very mentally ill and the world is in flames but those are two constant conditions I'll have to live with. everything else is not guaranteed, but here i am with so many things I've been trying so hard to get and have been dreaming about for years, if not most of my life.

like. i feel COOL. i feel like ive accomplished a lot and im still figuring out who i am(another constant of the human condition) but i know that whoever i am, im cool as fuck and i can get shit done

i can't wait to be kissed the way that wille and simon kiss. just so deep and passionate as if they're afraid that they're never gonna see each other again. that desperation and intimacy just pulls them both so close to each other and it genuinely is so nice to see, it's so sweet and so special for the two of them for multiple reasons. i could write an essay on these two.
