Apparently the reason Wesker's voice keeps changing is that the VAs try and copy what his voice is like in the prev games? Also that apparently his age keeps changing because it just does.

He's a real fuckin dreamboat but I genuinely don't think he knows what sex is. Like. At all. Like he knows what it is as a concept but he's just completely oblivious to it past that point. I've rp'd and written him so much in the past several months you'd think I'd know everything about him. Like how he apparently has a son? Who looks nothing like him? But genetics I guess. They try and play up the broody angsty backstory but I genuinely forget if Wesker and his kid Billy have otherwise ever met?

Also fun fact: the people modeling in the beginning of Resident Evil 1 are just some friends of the creators who happened to be in town at the time. They're not credited w/ last names for this reason. We STILL have no clue the ID of the woman who played Jill in that. That's also why the people in that opening don't look ANYTHING like the characters in game.

The creators also had no concept of English/typical English inflection so they basically did multiple takes of all the lines, and stitched the lines together to what they deemed acceptable. That's why the performance is so fucking wonky.

ok so the tragedy for Edward's character for ME is that he really is that trustworthy older cousin that everyone relies on, but ends up unable to help his cousins and sister due to circumstances outside his control. and it would've been fun to explore this in blue cult arc if Yana didn't relegate him to a plot device. literally his job during the second half of blue sect was to be a wall for people to monologue at.

man I just think yana really screwed over edward because she doesnt want him be a real challenge towards her favorite boy. like his fangs were sawed off.
