4. What’s a hobby they used to have that they miss?

Cyrus- cyrus used to play piano! he stopped for a few reasons (lack of time, associations to the farm, "i am not spending my money on a whole ass piano") but he still remembers how to play, even if hes a bit rusty. he doesnt see any use for the hobby at the moment, which is another reason he hasn't kept up, but who knows. i cannot for the life of me remember if daniel owns and/or plays piano(wouldnt surprise me) but if he does then theyd totally play a duet together.

Cynthia- she was very fond of photography back in the day, but she's had to drop it for safety reasons. while she didnt like photos of herself, she did own a camera and used it liberally for candid shots for most of the rangers. ortega had the most pictures taken of her ofc, she had girlfriend privileges. she also had a good few for the general scenery of los diablos, to remind her of her home. some of the photos that she treasured most were kept on her person, but it got taken away and used as ammunition by the farm when she was discovered. she would pick it up again given the chance, but thats only guaranteeing the photos cant be traced back to her, which isnt happening atm rip.

Caine- hes my most stoic character, so its actually pretty difficult to make him laugh, but! spoon. definitely spoon. chen has seen caine laugh more in like, 5 months than he has in the several years hes known them. its a combination of whats essentially intoxication from spoons mind, a feeling of understanding they dont usually get with people, and the fact that walks with spoon is one of the very few times he feels safe enough to let his guard down. it helps that chen has pretty quiet thoughts, so theyre not punished for lowering their shields.

Cecilia- oh man, ceci loves to laugh, shes very giggly. if i had to choose though, you can always get her with a dad joke. it doesnt matter how bad it is(and honestly the worse it is the funnier it gets). this is at least 70% of the reason she hangs out with ortega btw. that man is so corny with his jokes and cecilia is shamelessly enabling him. theyre insufferable when theyre together.

Caine- ok, well. caine avoids talking about themeselves like the plague so good luck getting an answer out of them in the first place. if he really couldnt avoid it, hed just say one of his goals(getting out of hark, for instance). its not wrong, per se, but it doesnt encompass what they actually want because they dont know what they want. in honesty hes a justice step, but hes stuck as a fate step until he has a suitable moment of "oh shit thats why im doing this". they want the heroes to function as actual heroes, instead of glorified lapdogs for the state. as for when everything is finally over, they want a massive fucking nap.

Cyrus- he tells others he wants people to leave him alone, and is Very Annoyed that nobodys listening to him. the reality is, ofc, the opposite lmfao. he cant stand to be alone, hed spiral worse than he already has without people to hold him steady. he wasnt like this before, he was a lot more open with his like for people, but the farm made him paranoid of connection and he just couldnt risk it. unfortunately for him, repression just caused it to turn around and bit him in the ass. gl cyrus, have fun with your new friends <3

Cecilia- cecis extremely open, bombastic, and utterly unashamed to say that shes doing everything for the hell of it. thats still true, she really is just doing things for kicks, but the biggest thing she wants is friends. shes not shy about saying it, but she doesnt get what having a friend entails. so instead, she ends up chasing an mirage of what friends look like, without realizing it needs connection to work. the first time she found an actual friend in daniel since heartbreak, it threw her for a loop.

Cynthia- she thinks she needs to be sidestep again. its not something shell admit for various reasons– the complete impossibility of it being one of them– so instead she settles for telling ortega that she needs to stay a civilian for her sanity. to be fair, thats not a total lie, if she went back to being a hero she would crack. i know its not part of the question but as an extra little nugget, what she needs is for somebody to look at her now and still care for her even compared to sidestep. she is my only step that needs to be told "sidestep is dead" and i swear im trying to beat it into her with a stick.

Asaba Harumasa is a pretty popular figure, being the only man in section 6, and just generally being pretty and flirty it’s no wonder he has tons of merch. The plushies were a new thing though! Okay so I really don't know what the right move would have been in this situation and I feel really bad about it.

So I, 28(f) have two childhood friends who I'll call Rose (28f) and Matt (28m). Rose and Matt started dating in school, married quickly after that and have been together for years. They're getting a divorce. I've told her all of my side of what happened and while she understands why I spoke to Matt first, she says she's upset that I didn't tell her at the same time, as gonorrhoea usually takes about two weeks to develop in the system and she (direct quote) "might have walked away with a shred of dignity if I wasn't peeing fire while i come to terms with being a useful idiot."

I feel dreadful. Obviously the blame really lies with Matt for giving her gonorrhoea in the first place but I can't help but feel responsible for not telling her when it was clear he wasn't going to do it by himself.

I think out of the main three boys from the Miscellaneous Modern Au, the Skys would handle it the best. Like they’d be weirded out at first and a bit disturbed for SURE, but they’d get over it pretty fast. M!Sky would probably be very fascinated by my LU Sky’s scars (the ones he got fighting Demise) and I think it would hurt both of them to realize even in another universe, there are still people who see them as sleepy and lazy. Though LU Sky has the whole hero thing going for him, he’s now the ‘godslayer’, father of the royal bloodline and the one who forged the master sword. I think M!Sky would feel a little disappointed in himself he hasn’t done anything cool like that, but they’d both move on to chatting about crafts pretty fast. LU Sky carves, M!Sky knits, they both like music and cats/remlits, and they love their gfs. They’ll get along okay. It’d be very important to them both to know that they’re both close with Groose, and that they KNOW Twi and Wars and all the others, even if the connections are a little different

M!Twi and LU Twi would lose their MINDS over each other’s tattoos, not sure how LU Twi would feel about M!Twi’s eyebrow piercing but they’d love each other’s tattoos. I think LU Twi would have some complicated feelings about how M!Twi got to CHOOSE his tattoos and how they’re made of things he loves and are symbolic of things that are important to him while his (LU Twi) are the sign of a curse, but I think he’d like his counterpart’s very much. LU Twi certainly has more visible, DEFINED muscle than M!Twi does, but they’re equally as strong, my modern au Twi just has a bit more healthy fat on him. They are both SOLID fucking guys, definitely the person you call to help you move a couch. M!Twi would also lose his shit over the fangs, which I can see LU Twi being a little self conscious about, but he’d be a little unnerved that M!Twi’s eyes are BROWN, and not the same ocean blue that Time’s are

Speaking of Time, I think LU Twi would be a bit… jealous, that M!Twi got to be raised by him. LU Twi looks up to LU Time so so much, the man means a hell of a lot to him, and he had to deal with snappy comments from the shade and now he has to live with the knowledge Time dies a miserable death and seeing that M!Twi got M!Time as a father would be like rubbing salt in a wound. M!Twi got Rusl and Uli and Colin in ADDITION, as close family friends, so I can see LU Twi getting pretty jealous. (Not to mention the fact that M!Twi still has Midna-) M!Twi would feel horribly guilty to realize how isolated and lonely LU Twi feels near constantly, and I can see him getting into a bit of a bad mindset and start to think his depression and anxiety aren’t valid because M!Twi’s childhood was genuinely wonderful, what right does he have to be depressed when his counterpart lost everything and has to carry around such heavy knowledge it’s driving him into the dirt? (and I would bonk him on his head for this, because M!Twi’s mental health issues are JUST as valid)

I think my LU Wars would get nauseous the second he saw his other self, because he’d look at 20 yo M!War and recognize the look in his eyes immediately and just Know that there really is no universe in which he can avoid Cia, and that would be like a knife to the chest. He could look at him and know EXACTLY why M!War still dyes his hair, even if he complains about it being damaged, why he spends so long getting ready every morning, why he runs himself into the ground so he doesn’t have time to think about anything besides what he’s throwing himself into. I think LU Wars would be a bit confused that M!War seems to GENUINELY miss the spotlight, but he might wave that off as M!War being so young still

M!War would think LU Wars has a stick up his ass, which is fucking hilarious because they are genuinely the exact same person (like yes, obviously, but they also really do have the SAME personality too, LU War is just more likely to stand quietly and observe because that’s an army thing and he looks a little Important and Fancy in his armor). M!War would also be a bit unnerved by the scars on his counterpart’s face, I think they’d startle him a bit. LU Wars would be HORRIFIED to learn about M!War and his relationship with his mother, but very grateful to know he’s still being cared for by Time and Malon. Granted that would be so fucking weird to him- It’d be weird to M!War too, because those two have a VERY different relationship with Time, he’d watch LU Wars smack LU Time on the back and just fuck with him or something and immediately have a heart attack. To M!War, Time is the father he never had. M!War never knew his dad, his mom never dated, most his coaches and dance teachers were women, Time really is the closest thing he’s ever had to a father and his approval means fucking EVERYTHING to him. To LU Wars, thats his little brother, forever and always. Doesn’t matter how tall Time gets, Wars looks in his eyes and sees the same kid from the war who he held during loud explosions to comfort him. Time (both of em) would find the dynamic change very weird as well

M!War, LU Wars, M!Wild, and LU Wild would just be a goddamn mess of a group- The Wilds seeing another universe in which they still failed at something Warriors succeeded at is just one thing, they have to look at each other and recognize that their failure killed one of them and took mobility from the other. And I think in a way they’d be a little jealous of each other (and also feel bad about it), M!Wild needs to use a cane a lot of the time (not every day) but he eats and sleeps like normal, he’s still ‘hylian’. LU Wild is slightly dead a little bit, sometimes he doesn’t have a heart beat, but he can scale a mountain for shits and giggles on a saturday afternoon

And LU War has to realize M!Wild is to M!War what MASK is to him, and that’s a shock I’m not sure he’s ready for. LU Wars loves Wild, ofc he does, but they aren’t super close because LU Wild is a little unnerved by him. M!War would literally die for his Wild, he’d do anything for him, Wild was the one who gave him his blue scarf he’s his oldest and closest friend, and seeing LU Wild would give him a heart attack I think. Not that M!Wild doesn’t have burn scars, but my LU Wild isn’t… perfectly alive- His eyes ‘glow’ an unnatural color and he’s genuinely a bit off putting until you get used to him because being around him makes the hairs on your neck stand up. M!Wild is weird, sure, but in a living kind of way, LU Wild is weird because of the shrine

god i have. i have such Thoughts about this. Some of the Miscellaneous Modern au boys could be friends with my version of their LU counterpart, but others would not be able to handle certain things about the other because its WORSE than looking in a mirror, it’s looking at another version of themself and realizing that fate and that trauma was truly unavoidable. I also think it’d be a comfort to all of them that even in another life, they still all found each other and are friends

YOU AND TOM HAD GOTTEN INTO A FIGHT, you were all at a meet and greet and as some girls were taking pictures with tom one of them had attempted to kiss him.

security had pulled her away before she could actually but it most obviously had made you jealous.

it was the way he didnt even seem upset, he didnt seem angry, disgusted or anything! he seemed amused at most.

once you got back to the hotel the band was staying at you completely ignored tom, walking right past him as he tried to make some conversation with you.

he looked at you with confusion as be walked away from him in frustration and quickly sitting down on the bed, rubbing your eyes.

“whats wrong?” tom asked, walking towards you with a frown.

“nothing, im fine..” you grumbled in annoyance, smudging your mascara and makeup before pulling at your hair to keep you from nearly going insane.

“no your not. “ he said, sitting down next to you and trying to read whatever expression you had.

“im..fine tom.” you muttered, tugging at your hair harder before feeling some of it fall into your hands lifelessly.

“well im sorry! what else do you want?” he yelped and sat up from the couch, meeting your height.

toms gaze softened at your words, his mouth slightly gaped and he realized he was in the wrong. he realized you were right.

he didn’t realize if he kept up the way he acted around other girls and letting them do what they wanted to him you wouldn’t be with him anymore.

he loved you so much and never wanted to loose you and he just registered that, without you he’d be alone.

you were always there for him so why couldnt he return it?

as he stood there in shock you sped past him, leaving your shared room and running out to the living room praying no one was in there.

to your avail no one was, you guessed they either had gone out or theyd all retreated to their rooms after hearing the argument.

containing your wails as you pressed your back against the wall, slowly sliding down it and you desperately clamped at your mouth.

you hadn’t noticed tom peaking from the door with a guilty expression. he had completely fucked up.

YOU SAT UP FROM THE WALL YOU LAID AGAINST, it had been a good twenty five minutes of you quietly weeping.

slowly walking towards the room you and tom shared, scared of what youd find. maybe he was going to break up with you?

whatd if he had done something to himself? what if he had already moved on to another girl?

but as you reached for the handle, it swung open making you flinch a bit.

AHHHH sorry ive been so busy! Just got to see my mom for the first time in half a year and christmas had me running around like a chicken without a head 😭😭 heres the Savanaclaw boys Genshin edition!

Leona just might be the laziest yet the most cunning member of the Children of Echoes! Hardly a time the other members of the tribe dont see him lounging about on the surface, soaking in the sun! Yet he somehow always stays on point with his work and skills.

I thought Geo suited him perfectly and was the closest reference to his unique magic as a vision! And Polearm because its similar to the main choice of weapon in the Sunset Savannah ! I dont imagine hes related to the chief or anything but perhaps his family is a long line of warriors who have held ancient names of especially famous fighters but Leona perhaps didnt get one? So hes ostracized from his family despite his hard work and dedication growing up. I like to think he actually gives Kachina tips on her training, part of him is jealous that she has an ancient name yet is so meek but he sees how people treat her regardless and grows a soft spot for her!

Also totally hangs out with Xilonen, its the law now, they have to be besties. I wrote somewhere (where ever those notes are please return to me 😭😭) that if Mualani thinks hes being too rough and mean eith Kachina that she'll dump water on him- good luck Leona!

Ruggie i made a member of the Scions of the Canopy! It feels pretty fitting in my opinion? Theyre all about thrills and action over there, Id imagine Ruggies slick nature and jack of all trades talent would be perfect for them!

Hes pretty easy going but that doesnt mean he wont try to swindle a traveller or two for some money or food while they travel to the city- ah but leave it to Kinich! He'll make sure to set him straight whether he likes it or not. Those two grew up together after all! Now i wasnt sure why, but Pyro sword felt perfect for him! Does he have an ancient name? I havent decided yet, if he does itd make for an interesting dynamic between him and Leona? 🤔 If he didnt then theyd both be two pouty babies about it XD

Lastly, Jack! Who if you mightve noticed ISNT from Natlan! Instead I chose to reference his childhood home (didnt do that for everyone ofc- but its fine-) and I made him from Snezchnaya instead!

Oh and yes, he is a fatui member! He resides under Capitanos command though which is how he finds himself in Natlan for the mean time! The Captain's Blood Hound is what they call him amongst the troops. Fiercely loyal and strong to boot! No matter what Capitano chooses to do with his mission, if he sticks to the Tsaritsa or trades sides for his homeland, Jack will follow him without a moments hesitation. Definitely a soldier the others look up to! Some say theyve seen him spar almost on the same level as a certain Harbinger near the same age as him! Or that he is long time friends with the late La Signora's right hand, Vil (*wink wink* just a small sneak there for you guys to look forward to-)

Safe to say he quickly becomes a legend among the regular fatui soldiers. Same as Ruggie, I went with a vibe and his vibe said Cryo Claymore! Claymore for such an obvious reason- cryo itself tends to be in relation to family and loyalty (if you squint-) so it clicked in my brain, it could add to possible backstory you might hear whenever i get to his final copy!

It will only be flats color, rendering would take even longer- but this way if there are any other artists who wanna do fanart they could color drop the flat colors perfectly! Light

Light was a bit of a strange doll. It hardly spoke, kept to itself, and seemed to lack any discernable purpose to the other dolls. Their witch often just let that one do as she pleased. It happened that what it pleased was writing in a book which it kept hidden. None of the other dolls knew where. Light would have it one moment, then the next it would be gone. When they would ask their witch about Light, she would simply smile and pat their heads, telling them not to worry about it.

Over the years, the dolls started to grow jealous of the doll that never seemes to do any chores. Perhaps if Light had interacted more, their doll minds wouldve forgotten about it, but that ones constant scribbling in its book kept it too preocupied to interact much.

So the dolls hatched a plan. As soon as the book appeared, they would snatch it. They HAD to know what was so important. They bickered amongst themselces over which one should have thw honor. Finally, after much argument, Thistle was selected as the booknapper.

It lied in wait near the stairs, eagerly anticipating its moment to strike. Thankfully, its patience was rewarded as Light made its way down the stairs; the target book in hand. In a flash, Thistle had snatched the book and ran off, oddly hearing no protest. Thistle hurried back to the other dolls triumphant and excited.

"This one nabbed it!" It proclaimed proudly.

The assembled dolls cheered and gathered around, eager to see what was inside the mysterious book the ever silent Light held so dear.

Upon opening it, they all let out a collective gasp. On the pages were countless line drawings in their witchs' style. All of which were colored somewhat crudely. Their interest intensified as they examined the actual drawings. There were scenes of all of them playing and laughing, Serene doing her chores, that time Daisy ran around with a tea cup on her head, and the final page was a scene of each doll gathered around their witch smiling at a tea party they were all sure theyd never had. Surrounding the drawings, Light had written in crayon all the wonderful things about its doll sisters. How smart Page was, how beautiful Lavender is, and all of Lights thoughts about her beloved family.

The gathered dolls collectively gasped as they heqrd their witch clear her throat. A crowd of heads turned toward her; expecting to see anger. However, she stood with the usual gentle smile, a blushing Light next to her.

"I see you finally have Lights book darlings. I suppose an explenation is in order. You see, im getting old and my memory isnt quite what it used to be, so i wanted a way to help myself remember all of the good times weve had together. I enlisted Light here to guard and color my drawings of our memories. That one took its job very seriously, thats why it didnt speak or interact much. It was solely focused on preserving our memories." The witch smiled down at Light, patting its head. "Such a good doll" she smiled, looking back at the others. "You're all such good dolls, wonderful. Im so very happy to have you all with me."

The whole collection of dolls rushed towards the witch and hugged her, and each other, tightly. Now having a renewed love for her and each other. Especially little Light.

theyre literally one of my favorite ships but theyre one of those couples i cannot see getting together during their time on TD LMAOOOOO like theyre too preoccupied with other things so theres really no reason for them to want to interact but god theres so many little moments i can think of for them. i just heart the idea of jos type in women being the exact opposite of everything she is (like feminine and super into their appearance and all that) its just funny to me lol. but after the show??? theyd totally get together for a little bit and its jos first relationship but theyd 100% be one of those horrible on and off relationships

their personalities conflict well because anne maria being. anne maria would challenge jos leadership and her way of doing things way more than anyone else so them fighting is fun. also i like the idea of anne maria being the type who needs to sleep in until 10 and jos alarm is set to 6 am so she can do her morning runs. just stuff like that. and also jo being jealous of vito/anne maria is so cute too. like one she thinks theyre generally annoying but idk its fun to see her get mad at herself for having a crush on anne maria of all people because god knows she would. also jo would be anne marias type because shes into muscles and toughness and jo is well
