Content under the cut!
"Just a little closer." You say under your breath as you push aside the surrounding foliage. You step into a well beaten path. there's roots sticking out of it and the dirt is bare and dry, but you know that it's safe to travel along and that it'll take you straight to your destination.
"We've been walking for hours." Legend groans. "Are we there yet?"
"Almost." You hold the branch open for the others to pass through.
"This Link of yours must be a pain in neck to get to if his lives this far out into the middle of nowhere." Hyrule spits out a leaf.
You snort, keeping it vague for the sake of keeping him safe. They'll know the truth soon enough and frankly, you're scared to see the aftermath. "It's just up the path."
"Finally!"
"Come on! Let's go!" Wind cheers and takes off running, following swiftly by Wild, Wolfie and Four.
You try to keep a leisurely pace, knowing you're going to need all the energy you can reserve for when you arrive. You want to run just as much as the others, but you know better.
Time seems to have caught on and gently smacks your shoulder. "You never said how you happened to meet him."
"I didn't?" You smile, playing it coy. "Strange."
"This is it?" Four asks with a skeptical look.
Just beyond the hill is a run down cottage. There's holes in the roof and the fence is broken in many areas. The forest and meadows around it are about to over take the small house and return the woods of its skeleton back to where they came from.
You try to hold back a bitter smile and the way your heart swells at the familiar sight. You pat Four on the shoulder and keep walking towards the cottage. Putting your fingers to your mouth, you let out a shrill whistle and keep walking.
A beat passes, setting the young men behind you on edge before the door of the cottage all but bursts open. You can feel some of the boys reach for their weapons but they hesitate when you start hollering in excitement.
Your calls are answered back by a small body that comes running out of the cottage at full speed. It comes out like a shot and b-lines for you with the intent to tackle. You catch the familiar mop of blond hair and laugh, peppering the small boy with kisses and tickles.
The group behind you is stunned.
"Bubbah! You're home! You're home!" The child cries.
You smile, getting a little teary as you hold the child closer. "I get to stay for a little bit this time before I travel again. I wanted you to meet some friends of mine. They've been very excited to meet you."
The little boy looks over your shoulder and gasp, a bright grin covering his face. "New people! Hello! Welcome to my house!"
You set him down with a proud smile as he runs to the Chain. He stops in front of them, holding his hand out like the polite gentleman he's growing up to be. "My name is Link, what's yours?"
Twilight bites the bullet and kneels to his level, shaking his hand. "Why- My name is Link too! It's great to meet you!"
You sighs and look back to the house. Your grandmother must still be inside. Age has not been kind to her.
The introductions are going on behind as your brother gets more and more amused that they all share the same name. He laughs, bright and joyfully and still the child you've fought so hard to keep. "No wonder you wanted to meet me too!"
"Yeah.... That's why." Legend clenches his jaw in a tight smile. He catches it quickly, the mark of the Triforce of Courage already on his little hand. Legend points to his hand to show that he has the same mark. "You have that too?"
Link, your brother, nods and proudly shows it off. "Bubbah says it's because I'm special. They had to leave home after it showed up though. They saved me from the monsters and told me to take care of grandma."
"Then I'm sure you're doing an incredible job." Time says gently. "That mark is special. I'm sure your grandma is very proud."
Warrior makes it a point to step aside, roughly grabbing your arm as he speaks in a hushed voice. "What is the meaning of this?"
"This is my home." You try to keep the growl out of your voice. "Link is my brother."
"Tell me you're joking."
"I wouldn't be the one traveling with you if I was."
"Bubbah!" Link calls for your attention. "Can they stay for dinner?!"
You slap a grin onto your face and wave back to him. "That was the plan, short stack! You mind going to tell grandma we have company?"
"Oh yeah!" He grins and runs back to the house right as your grandmother has reached the door. She sees you and sighs of relief that you've returned safe and sound.
You wave from where you are and blow her a kiss. You try not to look at the other boys around you.
You can feel them staring holes into you head as it is.
This is going to be a long story.

Love for Love's Sake: Bоnus Stаge (spoilers!!)
Tumblr media
Love For Love's Sake (Love Supremacy Zone): bonus stagе is a short spin-off story from the author of the original novel, released in June 2024 (after the drama series). It's about 19yo Tae Myungha (from Game World) being transferred into the future and him slowly realizing how 29yo Myungha has been living happy 10 years with Cha Yeowoon and friends.
I promised to keep talking about it and thank you, guys, for enabling me xD Before translating bits from chapters, here's the full summary of everything that happened in this story – for those of you who are not that patient and don't fear spoilers :] I'll put them under more anyway so those who don't want to read the summary won't read them accidentally!
Warnings: suicidal intentions
Let me know your thoughts about this spinoff *д*
Love for Love's Sake: Bonus Stage (summary)
"If your life was a book, what would you want it be about?" "How would the first chapter begin and what sentence would be the last one?" "I wish it was about love."
19yo Myungha (so before canon timeline) is playing games in PC cafe. He doesn't really have money but wants to spend time so he wouldn't have to live it
On the crossroad, he sees a child running before the signal changes, and he jumps to save them but instead of getting hit, he feels like falling. He sees sunbae who pushes him. Message [World has been changed] appears.
Myungha finds himself in the arms of a handsome man who knows him - but he doesn't know this man. Myungha runs away but the man is faster.
[Mission: Make Tae Myungha happy.] [Reward: Memory] [Clear until (0%) ♥♥♥♥♥] [Penalty: Can't return to the original timeline]
Myungha is diagnosed with amnesia. He should be 29yo now, so he just goes along. Yeowoon decides to start over again and introduces himself.
Yeowoon and Myungha have been living together for 6 years and dating for 10 years. 19-Myungha is shocked to know this.
Ahn Sia, Kyunghoon and Sangwon immediately run to check whether Myungha is okay, 19-Myungha is shocked that people worry about him and they've been friends for 10 years.
Yeowoon asked if Myungha would hypothetically date him - just to make sure - but he still wouldn't let Sangwon in before others come (he's sooo jealous)
Sangwon finds younger Myungha a lot of fun, Yeowoon wants to fight with him. Others come, so they try to figure out what's happening.
29yo Myungha is a teacher respected by kids. The girl in his class wanted to kill herself so she went to the rooftop, Myungha ran after her but ended up falling down, and Yeowoon caught him (19-Myungha)
Sia is a shopping mall CEO and a popular influencer now, Kyunghoon does photography/filming professionally, Sangwon introduces himself as 'the one who Myungha rejected when he was 18yo'.
Everyone wants to have chicken and beer but 19-Myungha is a minor so they have chicken and cola and a group sleepover at Myungha/Yeowoon's house :]
Yeowoon tried to sleep with Myungha in one bed but eventually ran away to the living room, flustered.
They all decide to do a trip down the memory lane, since Myungha is "having amnesia".
Yeowoon is a gold medalist now, and many kids go to Shinyeop school now because he made it prestigious.
They visit old Yeowoon's house, and Yeowoon quietly tells him they had kissed here for the first time (on the stairs) 19-Myungha is flustered because he feels feelings that he doesn't know the source of. But he never had his first kiss, never thought about ideal type or love so he's can't stop thinking about it. He tried to take Yeowoon's hand but ran out of time.
After this trip, in the car Myungha clears 20% of his mission and sees flashbacks from the 10 passed years: how they were grilling meat at the rooftop, how they played at the sea.
Yeowoon went to the store to get ice cream, while Myungha and Sangwon were left alone waiting. Sangwon told 19-Myungha about precious memories with him (dogs!), how he was his first love and he kept regretting what if he made a different first impression on Myungha – and now he can.
So he asks for one more chance to start over but gets rejected because Yeowoon was faster once again. Sangwon accepts that his first love is finally over and walks away.
Yeowoon says he likes Myungha more anyway, but 19-Myungha doesn't know it so Yeowoon says he'll teach him. They go to amusement park (closed again) by the sea.
Myungha insists on going to the popular cafe, Yeowoon is hesitant but doesn't reveal the truth until Myungha meets his mom there. Yeowoon takes him away in a hurry as 19-Myungha wants to talk to her in anger. Myungha cries. He thinks if he didn't have Yeowoon next to him now, his mom's reaction would be his last straw.
Mission is cleared to 40%. 19-Myungha sees 18yo Yeowoon crying and being comforted by "him".
19-Myungha thinks the person Yeowoon fell in love with is nothing like him, so he runs away. Yeowoon catches up with him.
Suddenly, they meet his fans. 19-Myungha is confused to learn he's quite popular and has 100k followers on his YT channel where he's been posting vlogs for 10 years (Yeowoon made him do it). He's used to being widely hated as a Crazy Dog, and not widely loved.
19-Myungha doesn't want to restore memories because he doesn't want to return to his original timeline. But he also feels acutely that 29-Myungha is a very different person from him. So he openly tells Yeowoon about the game mission, and Yeowoon believes him.
They return home, and 19-Myungha notices that Yeowoon still cherishes him like they were new lovers and not 10yo couple that usually feels like a family. Yeowoon was testing his reaction to skinship. Myungha calls him to sleep and teases him for having dirty thoughts.
19-Myungha is scared to sleep because he fears to wake up from a good dream. Yeowoon comforts him, while Myungha teases again and asks whether he's going to kiss. Yeowoon responds he'll wait until Myungha does it himself, like the first time (I guess, it's a bit different from drama?)
In the morning, Myungha learns that his grandma is still alive in this timeline and is in the hospital with injured leg. He rushes there and cries a little seeing her alive. He pleads her to come live with them but the grandma is like 'wtf this kid gone insane'.
His memories are cleared until 60% and he remembers time spent with his grandma.
19-Myungha watches videos on "his" Youtube channel and he sees what kind of life 29-Myungha lived and what kind of person he was. He finds they weren't actually that different and he could become him. He sees how liked he was and what kind of person younger Yeowoon was too.
They go to get groceries, and suddenly 19-Myungha is surrounded by kids that claim he's their homeroom teacher. Yeowoon saves him from awkwardness, it seems like they don't know Yeowoon and Myungha are dating. The kids say that their entire class will always love their teacher Myungha, and 19-Myungha understands why he chose this job.
Mission is cleared until 80%. He sees flashbacks from teaching kids, he still keeps in touch with the ones that left. 19-Myungha starts to smile.
But he still doesn't want to go home, he's also scared that original Myungha comes back and he will disappear. He doesn't want to leave.
Yeowoon tells him he'll be waiting for him even if he goes back to his time. He tells him to return and find 18yo Yeowoon, because he exists there and he will definitely like and choose Myungha.
Myungha is overwhelmed with feelings and goes to kiss Yeowoon. This time he's the inexperienced one.
The timeline written down by Myungha: "First meeting at 19, first fight at 20, living together at 23, passing teacher's exam, Yeowoon breaking the world record, Myungha becoming homeroom teacher, having 5 anniversary trip".
Last 20% are still missing. He's waiting for Yeowoon to come home, he returns with the cake and flowers. It's their 10th anniversary today, so Yeowoon insists he still has to celebrate, despite the situation. Myungha feels bad that he always forgets about anniversaries.
Yeowoon proposes to Myungha. He gives him his wedding plan and prepared funds.
Myungha laughs (while Yeowoon is annoyed :D) and gets positive buff, as he falls in love. [Mission is cleared until 99.9%]. He witnesses more happy flashbacks.
Because it's legally difficult, Yeowoon still wants to get married. Myungha tells him if he proposes again in 10 years, he'll accept. And teases him for being in such a rush to speedrun the relationship.
He remembers all memories from 10 years of their life and love together, he tells Yeowoon 'of course' and finally decides to return home and meet Yeowoon in his own timeline.
But Myungha is scared because there's still 0.1% to fail. He remembers the sunbae who pushed him before the world has changed. He wonders who that was.
He sees himself talking with sunbae, who asks him what is happy life to Myungha and if his life was a book, what would it be about.
"If your life was a book, what would you want it be about?" Someone is asking next to me. "...love. I wish it was about love." I wished that this thing, which was so common that I could hear about it everywhere but have never really felt it, could exist in my life too. The sunbae smiled quietly. "I just decided on a title".
Sunbae tells Myungha that humans are made of stars and apologizes that he was so late. He asks him to live the way he wants to.
He pushes him again. Message [The world has been changed] appears.
29yo Myungha wakes up next to Yeowoon and immediately goes to hug him. He finally feels like his soul and body are perfectly aligned, and he remembers how lonely he was when he was 19.
He tells Yeowoon they'll go see stars on their honeymoon trip. But first, they want to take a trip to Taiwan and the grandma is bitter they're not taking her with them because she's convinced they're gonna secretly get married there. But Myungha and Yeowoon want to get married in Korea.
[Mission: Make Tae Myungha happy is completed with 100%]
29-Myungha goes to meet the girl in his class who he saved on the rooftop. They both talk about how they don't want to die anymore and they should never give up. The girl also says Yeowoon suits him well, and Myungha promises to invite her to their wedding.
[END OF THE GAME.]
[LOADING]
19yo Myungha gets back to his conscience on the street, as someone asks him if he's okay. He is surprised to see Yeowoon, while Yeowoon is displeased that Myungha knows his name since they never met before.
Yeowoon walks away, but Myungha starts running after him.
[ENTERING THE LOVE SUPREMACY ZONE]
That's it 🥺 Of course, there are many amazing and touching moments in the story itself but I wrote down the main points. Aren't they precious?!

Hey, Naff! I was thinking of the AU where y/n is a dolphin mermaid and Sun, Moon and Eclipse run a mafia pod, and then I thought of the alternate scenario someone sent asking what would have happened if y/n had a kid with them, and then I had a thought! XD Not to contribute to the baby fever but!
What if the initial encounter went the same, y/n is chased, caught and forced to accept the deal of working for them, but in this scenario they are already expecting. Like super early pregnancy stage. Y/n does know about it, but it's so early that it's not outwardly visible or noticeable to anyone else.
And since that first encounter was so rough they are hesitant to ever mention it to the trio because they don't know how the mafia works and they are afraid either them or the future baby would be seen as a liability (unable to tell that's not actually the case). So they do the jobs they ask, while trying to hide it to the best of their ability. And thankfully for them (at least they think so), it's one of those pregnancies that doesn't really show until much later, but there comes a point where they can very much not hide it anymore.
But what if that point comes when there is a lull between jobs for them, and the trio of bosses is pretty busy, so they are left alone for a while and they are like "Great! Maybe I can have this baby unnoticed!" But then just as they approach the due date they are finally summoned back, but at this point they know they can't go to them. So when they don't respond to the call it causes for one (or all three) of the boys to get suspicious and come looking for them. And that's all I thought about gkjfhgkfh No idea what happens next XD
Chaotik, I'm rattling you so hard right now! It's a sweet little twist on dolphin Y/N dealing with the mafia sirens + baby, and I'm entirely here for it!
Continuing where you left off, I like to imagine that Sun and Moon are the ones to go look for Y/N.
They can't have one of their own go rogue, especially without consequences. They make no exceptions as they explained what would happen to those who aren't loyal, but Sun and Moon are especially sullen. Dolphin Y/N is all three of the bossess' favorite, and to have them try and think they can get away spears their pride (and hearts) when they've been so good to them. Of course, that's not to say they haven't taunted, teased, and grabbed Y/N mercilessly, as they have full rights to do within their territory and those under their protection, but they thought Y/N was growing closer with them in return. Regardless, they're on the hunt.
On the farthest northern edge of their territory, where it was confirmed that Y/N was summoned back but did not follow through on the command, they come upon a thick Arctic ice pack and towering, roaming glaciers. Sun catches sight of Y/N first. They're hiding behind a sizeable outcropping of ice, flukes flitting anxiously. Moon swims around to catch Y/N from behind should they decide swimming away is a possibility.
Y/N is panicking, doing their best to keep their now very visible pregnancy concealed while also pondering their fate. The due date is close but the ferocious bosses are upon them. How useless will the two orca sirens decide they are while carrying a child?
Sun calls out to Dolphin Y/N to come out before he has to make them, and though Y/N reluctantly answers, they still keep their belly hidden. Moon, however, sees them entirely from his position, baby bump and all. Caught off guard, Moon slips behind Y/N while Sun is still interrogating them, and he takes their arm and firmly but gently pulls them out into open water. Sun stops midsentence to stare at Y/N while they flounder internally, deeply unsettled by their reactions—or the lack thereof.
After Moon and Sun silently stare at Y/N and process the new situation, they share a sharp look. Sun asks where Y/N's mate is. Y/N says in a small but no uncertain voice that they have no mate. They intend to raise their baby alone. Both sirens seem to relax at this. Y/N begins to babble about being able to care for the baby and still perform their work but Sun and Moon have made a silent decision together. Sun softly takes Y/N's other arm to guide them back to the center of their territory, where they belong.
Of course, Sun and Moon now recall certain moments from the past few months, such as Y/N being especially skittish whenever they or Eclipse grabbed onto their hips or caressed their sides. Another siren under their pod commented on Y/Ne eating better for they're a little thicker around the middle, and Y/N quickly brushed aside the remark. Of course, Sun and Moon see now how much softer Y/N's face is and that their movements are slow and careful, not as slipstreamed as they were when the brothers first chased them down. They're a bit bewildered (and abashed) that they missed the signs.
Y/N is still panicking at how closely Sun and Moon guide them back into the heart of their territory before taking them to a sizeable ice cave, carved out by claws. Sun darts away once they pull Y/N inside. Moon asks Y/N more questions about their pregnancy: how are they feeling, do they need to eat, are they tired, do they know when they might have the baby, and so on. Y/N grows increasingly anxious by the grilling but answers truthfully. The due date is soon, very soon. That's why they couldn't answer the summons. Moon dismisses Y/N's stumbling overexplaining with a wave of his head. He's already pieced that bit together.
Then Eclipse arrives with Sun. His burning eyes immediately land on their big belly in plain view, and Moon tending closely to their side, his claws curled around their hand. Y/N finally asks what the bosses are going to do with them. They don't want any harm to come to their baby but Y/N is well aware that they can't fend off three orca sirens. (Eclipse remembers a time he noticed a slight swell to Y/N's belly but attributed that to providing well for their Dolphin Y/N after they've been so loyal and hard working in return.) Eclipse is silent for a long heartbeat before he flashes his teeth and chastises Y/N for not telling them earlier. They could have protected them more, allowed them to rest and stay closer to them, and given them less dangerous work.
Y/N stammers for a moment before falling silent. Did the terrifying eldest boss just say what they think he said? Sun leaves to retrieve a fish before Moon speaks low into Eclipse's ear. Sun returns and gives all his attention to Y/N while he ensures the fish he caught for them won't trigger any nausea. After Y/N says the fish is fine, Sun caresses their cheek once. Then, the twins disappear, leaving Y/N with Eclipse as he watches them eat. He explains that their child falls under the orca sirens' protection because he and his brothers already protect Y/N. They will see that Y/N is given whatever they need to rest and recover. Y/N is struck dumb, but the fish is delicious and they haven't been torn apart yet, so that can only be a good thing. Right?
Eclipse catches Y/N's chin in his hand, lifting their head to hold their gaze as he grins. It will be lovely to have a little one around, he says. Y/N believes he's sincere, still wrapping their head around how they started the day off terrified and somehow finished it with devotion and support from the three orca sirens.

A/N: I haven't actually played lesson 40 yet, but I've seen a ton of spoilers, and they made me emo af XD so I quick wrote this to get my thoughts out ~ may not be canonically accurate lol
Tumblr media
You suddenly appear back in the House of Lamentation, slightly bewildered after the effects of the portal - you're in your room again, and everything is exactly where you left it. Your eyebrows furrow for a moment before you shake your head, disbelief filling your mind as you process your surroundings. You question to yourself if you're really back, is this really your timeline? From what you can infer, it would appear so - everything in the room lines up with your memories. But how long were you gone? How long before your demons started to frenzy, turning over every stone in the realm until they find you?
But you're back now.
Surely, they missed you. Surely, they've been attacked with grief and turmoil as you've spent months traversing through the past, doing your best to heal them as you mask your own weaknesses, your own fears, your own anxieties. Doing your best to get back to them. It feels like you have been gone a lifetime, and surely they've felt that, too.
Except, when you push open the doors of the House Library, and announce your return, you can't help but to feel a certain way at their lackluster responses.
Ah yes, time travel.
You're glad to have your demons back - and part of you is glad to hear that they have missed you without knowing why. But at this moment, it all hits you. At this moment, everything you have compartmentalized has come busting forth in your brain - all of the trials and tribulations of going back into the past has caught up with you.
You went through so much - and it wasn't their fault.
But it does throw you for a loop when you finally return home to your demons, but they never noticed you left.
To them, it was a night of sleep; to you, it was months of trying to prove yourself...
And that bothers you.
It's not your fault. It's not their fault, either.
But the idea unsettles you nonetheless...

Henyoo!! :3 Can I please request a House M.D. married polyamorous Hudson (House x Cuddy x Wilson) AU and them having two daughters together? Maybe half domestic fluff at home and half ridiculous shenanigans at the hospital with House's DDX team finding out about all of this by slowly piecing together clues? Much appreciation if you do this one, thanks in advance! XD <3
Ahah i love the idea! First time i didn't write about a character x Reader but why not (i love them sm too dw).
Tumblr media
The throuple was pure chaos, at least on the inside, but from the outside, no one would have guessed, except for House and those close to him, like his team. Of course, it took some time for it to become obvious. Cameron was the first to notice the small detail that seemed insignificant: how often Wilson and Cuddy were eating together.
For Wilson, this didn't seem unusual. He was used to eating with his patients, with House, with everyone, really. But Cuddy? Cuddy was the type to eat alone, stuck in her office between meetings or while catching up on paperwork. Seeing her in the cafeteria, and not just to scold House, but actually having lunch with Wilson, was the first clue that Cameron picked up on.
At first, she didn’t pay much attention, thinking it was perhaps just a coincidence. But as days went by, the lunches became more frequent. Cameron then began to observe, mentally noting these moments that were multiplying: a shared coffee break here, a knowing smile there, conversations that seemed longer and more animated than usual. She talked to Chase and Foreman about it, who initially shrugged, skeptical. "You're imagining things," Chase would say. "Wilson is sociable; Cuddy and he are probably just talking about the hospital and the stress House causes them."
But for Cameron, there was more to it. She knew Cuddy and Wilson well enough to know that it wasn’t just about work. And then there was House, who, while always hiding his true feelings behind a cynical facade, seemed a bit more irritable every time Cuddy and Wilson were together. The looks he gave when he caught them laughing, whispering secrets, all of this only strengthened Cameron's suspicions.
Of course, the young woman tried to bring it up with the team again. After observing Wilson, Cuddy, and House for several weeks, Cameron could no longer ignore the signs. The muffled laughter, the knowing glances, and those meetings in the cafeteria that seemed to last a bit longer than they should. Something was off, and she couldn’t keep it to herself any longer. One morning, while the team was gathered in the diagnostic room, she decided to bring up the subject.
"Have you noticed anything strange with House, Wilson, and Cuddy lately?" she asked, breaking the silence as Foreman and Chase were reviewing the latest results of a patient.
Chase looked up, intrigued. "You mean apart from the fact that they all act weird most of the time?"
Foreman, always pragmatic, frowned. "I see where you're going with this, Cameron. They do seem closer. But that doesn’t mean anything. They've always been close friends."
Cameron shook her head. "No, it’s different this time. I’ve seen them together several times, and it wasn’t just work conversations. There’s something more. And House... he seems strangely calm when the three of them are together. As if he knows something we don’t."
This revelation caught Chase's attention. "What are you suggesting? That we start our own little investigation on our colleagues?" Cameron shrugged. "I just want to understand what’s going on. And I’m sure you’ve noticed things too."
At first, Foreman and Chase remained skeptical, but little by little, they started paying more attention to the interactions between House, Wilson, and Cuddy. What seemed like simple coincidences became harder to ignore: exchanged smiles, moments of silence that seemed to say a lot, and the way they synchronized without even speaking. As the weeks went by, the mystery deepened.
Eventually, the team couldn’t resist the temptation to conduct their own investigations. They began asking subtle questions, closely monitoring their habits, and exchanging theories. All this was done without the trio realizing they were the subject of an unofficial investigation.
But of course, nothing really escaped House. He quickly started to notice that his team was particularly curious about him, and he mentioned it to Wilson and Cuddy. One evening, the three of them met in Cuddy’s office, laughing about the situation.
"You really let them think they could figure us out?" Wilson asked, laughing. House smiled, amused. "Why not? It keeps them busy. And besides, it’s quite entertaining to watch them try to play detectives."
Cuddy shook her head, a smile on her lips. "They won’t give up until they know the truth. You know that, House." House shrugged. "Maybe. But it’s not like they could ever understand what we have, anyway."
Months passed, and as the team continued searching for clues, the throuple increasingly enjoyed their attempts. The tension of keeping their relationship secret became less and less burdensome because they knew that as long as they were together, they could overcome anything.
One day, news changed everything. Cuddy announced to Wilson and House that she had decided to adopt a little girl, Rachel. It was a decision she had thought about for a long time, and she knew it would change their dynamic, but she felt ready.
Wilson smiled when he heard the news. "Rachel, huh? That's a beautiful name." House, surprisingly, seemed moved. "You know this is going to make everything even more complicated, right?"
Cuddy nodded. "I know. But I think it’s the right thing to do. And I want both of you to be there, for her and for me." Wilson took Cuddy's hand in his, and House joined them, placing his hand on theirs.
In the days following Rachel's arrival in Cuddy's life, the throuple, of course, was different now. At first, they had to adapt to this new presence, this little girl who demanded all the attention and time Cuddy could give her. House and Wilson, although not really knowing how to handle a baby, did their best to support Cuddy in her new life as a mother.
One sunny Saturday afternoon, Cuddy suggested taking Rachel to the park. She thought it would be a good opportunity for all of them to relax a bit. House, who wasn’t particularly thrilled about the idea of spending time in a crowded park, grumbled a bit but eventually gave in to Cuddy’s persistent request.
When they arrived at the park, Wilson quickly spread out a blanket on the grass while Cuddy placed Rachel on the ground, surrounded by a few colorful toys. House sat down next to them, his sunglasses hiding part of his face, observing the scene with a feigned look of indifference.
Rachel, curious about her new surroundings, started crawling on the blanket, grabbing one of her toys and chewing on it happily. Wilson smiled, amused by the little girl’s boundless energy.
"She seems to be having a good time," Wilson said, turning to Cuddy, who was watching Rachel with obvious tenderness.
"Yes," she replied, her eyes shining with pride. "I think she likes being outside. She’s so curious about everything."
House, who had been silently observing the scene, suddenly leaned forward and grabbed one of Rachel's toys. He held it up in front of her, shaking it slightly to catch her attention. Rachel, intrigued, reached out for the toy, bursting into laughter when House lifted it out of her reach.
Wilson laughed. "You know, you could at least try to be nice." House shrugged, a sly smile on his face. "I’m just teaching her a life lesson: you can’t always get what you want."Cuddy rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless. "Yes, but maybe we could be a bit gentler with her, don’t you think?"
House looked at Rachel, who was staring at him with innocent curiosity, and he felt something inside him relax a little. He lowered the toy and handed it to Rachel, who grabbed it joyfully, letting out a little cry of victory. "I guess I can make an exception," he murmured, more to himself than to anyone else.
Of course, there were plenty of little cute moments like that. Especially with Rachel, people who didn’t know them might think House wasn’t affectionate, given the love Wilson and Cuddy showed Rachel, but it was the opposite.
She and Wilson crossed paths in the hallway, clearly exhausted. "What are we going to do about Rachel?" Cuddy asked, worried. "I can’t leave the hospital right now, and she can’t be left alone any longer."
Wilson quickly thought through possible solutions. "I could call someone, maybe a friend, but it will take time..."
House, who happened to be passing by, caught their conversation. "Looking for someone to babysit the little terror?" he asked with his usual sarcastic tone, but there was a hint of something else in his voice, something softer.
Cuddy and Wilson exchanged a glance. They knew House wasn’t exactly the first choice for looking after a baby, but they were out of options.
"House, would you be willing to take care of Rachel tonight?" Cuddy asked, her voice tinged with both hope and doubt. House rolled his eyes but sighed. "Yeah, why not. I don’t have anything better to do anyway."
So House found himself driving to Cuddy’s house. He couldn’t help but smile, imagining what his team would think if they saw him in this situation. Upon arriving, he entered cautiously, not wanting to wake Rachel if she was already asleep.
Rachel was awake, sitting in her playpen with her toys, and as soon as she saw House, she let out a little cry of joy. House couldn’t help but smile despite himself. "Well, looks like you’re stuck with me tonight, kiddo."
He sat down next to her and watched her play for a while. Rachel, with her usual energy, began reaching out toys towards him, babbling happily. House, unfamiliar with this kind of play, clumsily tried to participate, shaking the toys as he had seen Cuddy and Wilson do.
Minutes turned into hours, and soon, Rachel began showing signs of tiredness. House gently picked her up, rocking her as he had seen Cuddy do. Against all odds, Rachel quickly calmed down, resting her head on his shoulder, her eyes slowly closing.
House found himself on the couch, lying down with Rachel cuddled against him. He was surprised to find himself enjoying this unexpected moment of calm, the comforting warmth of the little girl against him. Before long, the fatigue from his day overcame him, and he fell asleep, Rachel peacefully asleep in his arms.
Wilson and Cuddy arrived a few hours later, exhausted from their long day at the hospital. Entering quietly into the house, Cuddy signaled Wilson to be quieter so as not to wake Rachel. They walked down the hallway to the living room, expecting to find House probably slumped on the couch, feet on the coffee table.
What they saw stopped them in their tracks. There, on the couch, House was lying down, Rachel nestled against his chest, her little arms around him. Both were sleeping deeply, their breaths synchronized in a soothing rhythm.
Cuddy put a hand to her mouth, her eyes wide with surprise. "I never would have thought I’d see this," she murmured, a tender smile forming on her lips.
Wilson also smiled, warmth filling his heart as he saw the scene in front of them. "Who would have thought House could be so... gentle?" he whispered, approaching the couch carefully.
Cuddy came closer too, trying not to make any noise. She crouched down softly next to the couch, watching Rachel, peaceful in House's arms. It was an unexpected but beautiful image, and she felt her heart swell with tenderness.
"Should we wake them?" Wilson asked in a low voice, hesitating to break this peaceful moment. Cuddy shook her head, the smile still on her face. "No, let's leave them. They both look comfortable. And besides, it's nice to see House like this."
They stayed there for a moment, just watching, soaking in the unexpected tenderness of the scene. Finally, Cuddy gently draped a blanket over them, covering Rachel and House, before standing up. "I'll prepare something to eat. We can wake them up gently afterward."
Wilson nodded, following Cuddy into the kitchen, casting one last fond glance at House and Rachel. That evening, they had seen another side of House, a softer side.
It was rare for House to be so adorable, to be honest, but don't think it was everywhere; it was only in private. When Rachel came to the hospital, House tried to act normal, but Cameron could see a bit more gentleness, Foreman was sure it was because of some paternal instinct, and Chase didn’t care; he wanted to have that too, so he avoided being there.
Over the months, the relationship between House, Wilson, and Cuddy deepened and became more refined, each day bringing new moments of closeness and affection. Wilson and Cuddy loved this side of House, but who would have thought it? Certainly not them!
One morning, Cuddy woke up before the two men, a rare moment of calm and peace. House and Wilson were still asleep, each on their side of the bed, the soft morning light reflecting on their relaxed faces. Cuddy smiled, appreciating the sight.
She leaned over to Wilson first, placing a light kiss on his lips. He murmured something in his sleep, a smile spreading across his face. Then, she turned to House, kissing him on the cheek, near his stubble.
House opened one eye, grumbling slightly but smiling nonetheless. "Handing out morning kisses again?" Cuddy laughed softly. "There's never a bad time for a kiss."
Wilson woke up as well, opening his eyes to see Cuddy and House talking quietly. "Did I miss something?" he asked, stretching his arms over his head.
"Just Cuddy waking us up gently," House replied with a smile.
Wilson smiled, moving closer to give a kiss to Cuddy and House, a gesture of tenderness and affection that never failed to warm their hearts. "It's the best way to start the day."
As they enjoyed this quiet morning, a thought crossed Wilson's mind, and he felt it was the right moment to share what was on his heart.
Wilson sat up slightly in the bed, his expression becoming a bit more serious. "Cuddy, House, I need to talk to you about something important."
Cuddy also sat up, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "What's going on, Wilson? You seem worried." House, still lying down but now fully awake, raised an eyebrow, ready to listen to what Wilson had to say.
Wilson took a deep breath before continuing. "I got a call from the psychiatric hospital last night. My brother, Danny, is still there, and his situation isn’t really improving. He won't be able to take care of his son, Max, and he has no one else. I think... I think I should adopt him."
A silence filled the room, each of them absorbing the news. Cuddy nodded gently, understanding the weight of the decision Wilson was considering. "Wilson, that's a big decision. Are you sure you want to do this?"
Wilson sighed and nodded. "Yes, I'm sure. Max needs someone, and I can't let my nephew end up in the foster system. I want to be there for him, to give him a family."
House looked at Wilson with a mixture of admiration and challenge. "That's a big step, Wilson. Adopting a child, especially under these circumstances... It's going to change your life. Our life."
Wilson knew that this decision would affect not only him but also their dynamic as a throuple. He was ready to take on this responsibility, but he wanted to make sure that Cuddy and House were also comfortable with the idea. "I understand this will have an impact on all of us. I just want you to know that I'm not expecting anything from you. I just want to be there for Max."
Cuddy squeezed Wilson's hand a little tighter, a reassuring smile on her face. "Wilson, you are one of the most compassionate and generous people I know. If you want to adopt Max, we will be here to support you. To support him."
House rolled his eyes, but there was a barely perceptible smile at the corner of his lips. "Yeah, yeah. We'll just have to learn to get used to having more people in this house. Let's hope the kid isn't as insufferable as you."
Wilson chuckled softly, touched by his partners' support. "Thank you, both of you. It means a lot to me. I know it will be an adjustment, but I truly believe it's the right thing to do."
House leaned over to Wilson, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "Then let's do it. And if this kid has even a tenth of your kindness, it will be worth it."
Cuddy kissed Wilson in turn, then rested her head on his shoulder. "We’ll be a family for Max, just like we’ve made our own. He’ll have a lot of love here, that’s for sure."
In that moment, wrapped in a warm embrace, Wilson felt that despite the challenges ahead, they were ready to welcome Max into their lives.
The first Christmas the new family spent together was a particularly magical moment, filled with warmth, laughter, and both new and old traditions. Cuddy's house was decorated with string lights, scented candles, and a large holly wreath hanging on the front door. A big Christmas tree stood proudly in the living room, sparkling with golden garlands and ornaments carefully hung by Rachel and Max.
That morning, the house was full of excitement. Rachel woke up first, as usual, and jumped into House and Wilson's bed to wake them up. She was already in her Christmas pajamas, red and green, with a little Santa hat on her head. She bounced on the bed with energy.
"Wake up! It's Christmas!" she shouted joyfully.
Wilson was the first to open his eyes, laughing softly at Rachel's excitement. "Well, it looks like someone is ready to open presents," he said as he sat up.
House, who was not a morning person, grumbled as he turned over, but he smiled when he saw Rachel so happy. "Yeah, yeah, Merry Christmas, little elf," he muttered as he sat up. He couldn’t help but smile at her contagious enthusiasm.
Cuddy, already awake and downstairs, was preparing breakfast. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, pancakes, and bacon filled the air, giving the house an even more festive atmosphere. Max came down the stairs slowly, his eyes still half-closed, but a big smile on his face. He was wearing a Christmas sweater he had insisted on putting on, decorated with a reindeer with a bright red nose.
Cuddy smiled when she saw Max enter the kitchen. "Merry Christmas, Max," she said, kissing him on the cheek. "Did you sleep well?"
Max nodded. "Yes, I had a dream about Santa Claus and his reindeer," he said excitedly. "I wonder if he really came!"
Once everyone was gathered around the Christmas tree, they began to open presents. Rachel, impatient, rushed over to the tree and grabbed the first package with her name on it. She tore it open with enthusiasm, revealing a huge teddy bear. "Thank you, thank you!" she shouted, running to hug Cuddy, Wilson, and House in turn.
Max, more reserved, opened his gifts carefully. He received a high-quality drawing set and a collection of books he had mentioned wanting to read. "Thank you so much," he said with a sincere smile, his eyes shining with gratitude.
House, pretending to be bored, theatrically opened his gift to discover a black cashmere scarf. "Well, at least you have good taste," he joked, but you could see in his eyes that he genuinely appreciated the gift.
Wilson opened his own gift, a classic watch with an inscription engraved on the back: "Forever, together." He looked at Cuddy and House with emotion, thanking them with a simple, "It's perfect."
Cuddy opened the last gift. It was a delicate silver necklace with a star-shaped pendant. "It's beautiful," she said, tears in her eyes. "Thank you, really." She leaned in to kiss House and Wilson, her heart overflowing with love and gratitude.
After opening the presents, they all sat around the dining room table for a sumptuous Christmas meal. The table was beautifully set with festive dishes and red and white candles. A large platter of roasted turkey sat in the center, surrounded by mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, stuffing, and gravy.
Rachel sat next to House, who helped her cut her turkey into small pieces. "You know, Rachel," House said as he handed her a plate, "turkey isn't so bad when you're surrounded by good people."
Cuddy smiled as she served Max some juice. "I agree, House. This year has been full of surprises, and I am so grateful to have this family."
Max raised his glass of fruit juice. "To family," he said with a smile.
"To family," everyone echoed as they raised their glasses.
While Cuddy, House, Wilson, Rachel, and Max were celebrating Christmas in a warm and festive atmosphere, others at the hospital were starting to piece together the puzzle regarding their colleagues' unusual relationship.
Cameron, Chase, and Foreman had spent the past few months observing subtle but significant changes in the behavior of House, Cuddy, and Wilson. The exchanged glances, the knowing smiles, and the hints at events they'd shared together had become too numerous to ignore.
On Christmas Day, the trio found themselves at the hospital for an unexpected shift. They finished their tasks earlier than anticipated and decided to settle in the break room to chat. The conversation quickly drifted toward their colleagues.
"Have you noticed how much they're always together lately?" Cameron asked, glancing at the others. She was, of course, referring to House, Cuddy, and Wilson. "They spend a lot of time with each other, even outside of work."
Chase nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, I've seen House and Wilson coming out of Cuddy's office several times after hours. And it doesn't seem like they’re having regular work meetings."
Foreman, who had been silent until now, spoke up. "At first, I thought it was just House being... House. Always trying to get closer to Cuddy. But Wilson too? And both of them? That can't be a coincidence."
Cameron smiled, leaning forward in her chair. "I think you're right. They're more than just friends, that's for sure. Maybe even... together."
Chase raised his eyebrows, intrigued. "You mean, all three of them? It's possible, but it seems... complicated."
Foreman crossed his arms, thinking. "House likes complicated things. And Cuddy and Wilson have always been closer to him than we thought. It could actually work. They all have strong, but complementary personalities."
They stayed silent for a moment, absorbing this new perspective. Cameron, with a sly smile, shook her head. "That would explain a lot of things, actually. Why they're all so happy lately, despite the usual tensions at the hospital."
Chase chuckled softly. "If they're happy, then good for them. They deserve some happiness, especially with everything that's going on here."
Foreman smiled as well, relaxing in his chair. "Yeah, I guess it's none of our business. As long as they keep doing their jobs, that's all that matters."
Cameron nodded, her eyes sparkling with amused curiosity. "I have to say, it's an interesting dynamic. But you're right, Foreman. To each their own private life."
At that moment, the trio burst out laughing, imagining the reactions of the other hospital staff if they found out the truth.
A little later, as they were getting ready to finish their day, they walked past House's office. Through the window, they caught a glimpse of a scene that confirmed their suspicions.
House, Cuddy, and Wilson were sitting around House's desk, sharing laughter, knowing glances, and even tender gestures that left no doubt. House had his hand resting on Cuddy's, while Wilson was smiling softly, his eyes sparkling with happiness.
Chase, Cameron, and Foreman looked at each other, smiles on all their faces. They didn't need any more proof. They walked away quietly, leaving the trio to their moment of happiness.

Imagine if Armin and Annie had semi-public sex so many times, and the only time anyone caught them in the act was in their room. When they had observed all the decency and morality that a good boy and a good girl should! It pisses them off.
[N/SFW]
Hahaha xD Imagine getting caught only when they're being a good boy and good girl and not getting upto freaky stuff in freaky places...
This makes it very canon that Aruani really suffer with privacy xD The other four are simply too much of a nuisance! While Aruani can manage some secrecy in new, unfamiliar places because they have some more control over where they can disappear to... their room is NOTORIOUS for housing unwanted inhabitants. Constantly.
In a foreign country on a diplomatic visit, Aruani sneak away from the town hall to find some much needed alone-time in an isolated alley. And there, because they've been really frustrated lately, things get... a bit freaky.
But nobody finds them!
Even through the thrill of being discovered, nobody finds them!
But in their ROOM, when they're going at it UNDER THE SHEETS, their nakedness BARELY visible, quiet as mice, careful about noises, super relaxed and comfortable...
EVERYBODY fucking finds them. Everyone!

I
HAVE
THOOOOOOOOOOUGHTS-
Okay so, how did Sugishita end up meeting Umemiya/knowing about the daycare?
I think a fun spin on this is to have a slight play on the 'antagonist team' shtick. Like team rocket.
But instead of it being an antagonistic team, it's this trio of kids who have never stopped bothering Sugishita since they first met him.
Sugishita is a person who doesn't like dealing with annoying things, ofc he doesn't like dealing with these idiots. But they always force him into pokemon battles no matter how many times he would walk away before.
And even when he would willingly fight back, the fights were never fair. It was three against one, his pokemon against three. It didn't matter if he got all of them out to fight, he couldn't call out separate commands fast enough for the battle's ruthless pace, and they always had triple the pokemon to him because there were three to just his one.
Sometimes, they would throw rocks at him, after the battles.
He would always nurse his pokemon back to health himself, but he wasn't an expert back then, there was always something he missed somewhere, and the guilt would crush him whenever his pokemon consistently limp or whimper or fright and start at certain things. He didn't know what to do, didn't know how to make them stop.
At least until they messed with him near a specific daycare.
Sugishita was shocked when Umemiya had come bursting out of the building, having caught the unfair altercation in the middle of it.
The kids thought they could get away with it, wave it off and place blame on him. But Umemiya knew better than that.
He asked Sugishita, point blank, "they've been bothering you for a while, haven't they?" Even though the answer was clear that they were. He asked Sugishita, he gave Sugishita the option to tell the truth, or go along with their lie.
And Sugishita couldn't help but tell the truth.
He hadn't been given that kind of autonomy in a long time. He couldn't help it.
Umemiya chased them off, subtly promising a world of devastation if they decided to bother Sugishita again. They won't come back for quite some time, surely.
I think Sugishita would have recognized who Umemiya was after a moment, but he didn't know what to do with this information, he was fumbling.
But Umemiya took one look at him, one look at his poor pokemon who, up until this point, had gone so far as to take protective stances in front of their human partner, even if they all were scared shitless themselves. Their first priority was to protect the one who cared for them the most, who loved them the most.
And he saw the potential, he saw the love and care and worry they expressed for each other, because he had seen it in Sugishita's eyes earlier during the altercation.
Like hell he wanted to have his pokemon fight the people always coming after them.
Like hell he wanted to subject them to that again. But he didn't have a choice in the matter.
So, Umemiya gave him a choice.
"Do you want to come inside?"
And so, Sugishita became the puppy dog, the self proclaimed apprentice of Champion Umemiya Hajime, who came and never left.
But that's like, what's been spinning around in my head for a hot minute now, you can take anything u want from this idea, I just really love your au XD (it's been so long since I've engaged in anything pokemon related too, which is funny--)
hi hello I haven’t really slept for three days (life’s great right now) so I can’t do a really detailed and-or coherent response to this but please know I LOVE IT, everything about this idea. having read the chapter the direct parallel between canon Sugishita and AU!Sugishita’s past is very nice (I mean upsetting but you get it). Also I always love Ume standing on business lmao. It makes my Greavard pick even better, which I’m very pleased about.
also, so so glad people like this au as much as I do!!! I love adding lore and characters (I WILL do Kotoha soon I just… hopefully sleep first) and it’s so fun getting to talk to people about it. one day perhaps it’ll get a fic but even if it doesn’t it will live on tumblr and I’ll keep adding things, work out a timeline, etc. So if you (or anyone) ever has anything you wanna share about it, please do!! It’s our AU at this point *insert bugs bunnny communist meme here*

DR:OS CH1 Part 4 First Impressions + Initial Murder Theory
Investigation time! That means that while my first impressions through the chapter are going to be just as non-cohesive as always, there will be an extra, more well-thought out section at the end where I go in depth on the evidence to see what kind of murder theory I can come up with! Very excited to get into this, given how insane this case seems just from the Body Discovery alone. Let's get into it!
CWs here.
“Even if it contains a lie, I should still look at the Monoquin File first. I just know that Kennedy is gonna try to psychoanalyze it in court, and I don’t wanna be caught off guard.” Hell of a reason to review a piece of evidence xD
“The victim is Cassidy Torres. They died in the Upper Common Room at approximately 2 AM due to poisoning. She has been stabbed in the stomach as well.” She was poisoned! Or, well, I guess that could be a lie lol. The possible lies are location of death (her torso could have been moved), time of death, poison, or stabbing. Looking at the stomach should clarify whether that last one is the truth or not though. For right now, I'm leaning to the time or location being the lie, but who knows. In any case:
Truth Bullet Obtained: Monoquin File #1
“Mark: …Everyone. I know this is going to be hard, but… we have to do this, okay? Standing around isn’t going to solve the mystery.
Vivi: Right. Okay, listen up! I’m gonna ask that people help me round up all the pieces of the body in the Infirmary. I’m gonna take a better look at them there.” Interesting that Mark's the one who speaks up first. Are we possibly looking at an Ultimate Detective of some kind? Probably not lmao. Also Vivi moving such important pieces of evidence around sounds like trouble. I get that you're not experienced in this, but come on :v
I'm also seeing that a lot of the usual steps in investigations, like getting two people to guard the crime scene or arranging investigations in pairs, isn't happening. Cool!
“Despite Mark’s words, there’s something definitively crisper about the way they’re talking. I almost want to ask, “does this bring anything back for you?”, but that seems unnecessarily rude and accusatory.” Huh. Maybe I wasn't actually that off with the detective guess lmao.
“Mark: I’ve been looking through Cass’ e-Handbook.
They turn it so that I can see it.
Mark: There’s not really much to gain from it, though. Just the one message to Jeff, which we saw her send. No notes, no other messages, nothing.
Ellis: Wait. Where’d you get your hands on that?
Mark: …In the pants pocket. Of her legs.
Ellis: You found their legs??” Holy hell they move fast! They've been split for one second and people are already finding more body parts??? Damn. Also where?
“Ellis: No notes, though? Seems kinda weird, considering that it seems like they were looking into Antonia and the two of us as potential mastermind candidates. Maybe she was the type to keep things in her head?
Mark: Maybe. I’d definitely take notes, if I were them…
Mark wipes a smudge off the screen thoughtlessly. When pink appears on their white glove though, they furrow their brows.
Mark: Given the state of the body, it makes sense that there would be blood, but that doesn’t mean I like it.
Ellis: I’d have to imagine that chopping Cass’ body up like that would produce tons of blood.
But then, where did all that blood go…?” No notes is strange, I wonder if someone erased them? Then again, unless the notes can be restored somehow, I don't see how that would be brought into the trial. The blood thing is definitely important though. I do love how the blood is described as pink, btw, very funny :v
“Cass’ room looks pretty normal and undecorated. The only notable thing seems to be a laptop on her desk, which has some kind of device plugged into one of the USBs.” So she wasn't dismembered in her room, which is kinda what I'd been expecting. Unless the killer put a tarp under them or something. But that USB thing sounds interesting.
“Ellis: What, like a tracking device? Is it something in here, or something outside?
Mark: I’m not sure. It’s tracking when something activates… some kind of sensor, maybe? It was quiet pretty much all night, but it just activated a bunch of times a few minutes ago.” Motion sensor? Where? Why? Was Cass tracking Ellis and Antonia's movements maybe?
“Mark points to a small fleck on the wall. Upon closer inspection, though, it appears to be a tiny sensor.
Ellis: What the… How did you find that?
Mark: Uh… I don’t know. I guess I knew where to look…? I was just using logic.” Well that sounds like a motion sensor alright! Very interesting… Also yeah Mark definitely has a talent for this, be it Detective or Escape Room Master or Puzzlemaster or Logic User (?) but they've definitely have something going on.
“Ellis: So then, Cass was trying to track who entered the Upper Common Room?” That is very strange. Sounds like the question of why Cass was doing that is gonna be a pretty important point of this trial. {Hindsight: Maybe they were just doing the "neighborhood watch" thing actually :v}
“I march back into Cass’ room, and wait for the results of whatever the hell Mark is about to try. As I watch, I get more familiar with the display. Looks like there were two overnight triggers: one at 1 AM and one at 6 AM.“ So the 2 AM time of death looks… I don't know actually. It kinda sounds like Cass might have died at 1? Unclear for now. But that is a very long time. How early do these people get up again? If some people are already up by 6, then it'd be very dangerous to move the body around then.
Okay let me finish this section before I speculate more.
“Mark: If you stand in front of the sensor and move around, it doesn’t do anything. And, if you’re trying to avoid the sensor, you can step over it.” This seems like it's very important. The fact Cass can avoid the sensor explains a few worries I had just thinking about it, so this helps.
“Mark quickly heads over to the sensor and takes a pillow off one of the chairs. Though they throw it in the path of the sensor, nothing appears on the screen.” Huh? Alright, so it's not just motion, it's probably infrared looking for heat, would be my guess?
Truth Bullet Obtained: Cass’ e-Handbook
Truth Bullet Obtained: Floor Movement Tracker
Alright, so what did we learn? Something very important, actually. I'm gonna assume the killer's the one who set the sensor off at 1 and 6 AM, because I don't have any reason to assume they weren't for now.
There's two options here: either their room is on the fourth floor, in which case Cass died and was dismembered before 1 AM (time of death being the lie in the File) and the killer spent 5 hours during the night spreading the body around before returning at 6; or what I find a bit more likely, the killer's room isn't on the fourth floor, so the 1 AM trigger is them going up there, possibly waiting an hour for the poison to kill Cass (or the time is a lie), and spending 5 hours dismembering her before going to spread the body and return to their room after 6. More evidence is gonna be needed to say for sure what happened, though.
“Taylor: We’ve been messaging people. It sounds like the pieces were found here, in the Movie Theater, the Customer Service Area, the Infirmary, and the Casino.” Interesting, I guess? We still don't know why the killer did the dismemberment so.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Locations of the Body
I don't have much to say about this one for now. I don't see anything immediately meaningful about the locations, so.
“Grace: While Vivi was rounding up the body, I gathered these. They’re all identical, and pieces of the body were found in all of them.
Ellis: I assume it wasn’t just our box that seemed impossible to open at first glance?
Grace: Yes, that’s the general consensus.” What are these things, anyways?
“Grace: We didn’t do anything. All of the boxes opened at exactly 8:15 AM. I found timer mechanisms inside; they were all set to open at the same time.” … What? I guess that's to avoid an early discovery. Don't know why else that would happen, or why the killer would want breakfast to happen before the body was found, though.
“Ellis: Sharp timing.
Grace: I can respect that much about them, even if I can’t respect anything else.” Pfft. Grace's love of punctuality is really funny.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Timer Boxes
“Vanessa: All the boxes opened at 8:15. That’s when the BDA went off.
Antonia: Obviously, Monoquin instructed everyone to arrive at our location, but I’m not sure if we can truly say that we three discovered the body. After all, everyone had a hand in it, didn’t they? I see no reason why the torso in particular would signal the discovery.” Well, there goes BDA based elimination of suspects. Shame. Pretty interesting way to go around it, though.
“But, would the killer really go to all that horrible effort just to dodge that one effect of the rule? I’m starting to feel like a sicko myself for even having the thought…” I agree with Ellis, dismemberment is the kinda thing that requires a little more justification from a strategic standpoint than just dodging BDA reasoning. And yes it always is a bit of a trip to think about such things from the perspective of the killer, but don't worry Ellis, you'll get used to it.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Body Discovery Announcement
Wonder how this is gonna come up in the trial lol.
[Jeff's Account] Well, they weren't lying about the Ultimate Absentee intuition, huh. Still, though, kinda huge that there wasn't anything in the Movie Theater at 2:30, because it gives credence to the idea that the killer was still in the fourth floor at that time. That would imply that my second idea for the tracker is more likely, that the killer came from a different floor at 1 and left the fourth floor at 6.
Then again, the fact that the Movie Theater defaults to dark instead of lit is strange, wonder how that plays into it.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Jeff’s Account
Truth Bullet Obtained: Resort Lighting
[Dollies and Black Sheet] Well, that explains a few things, I guess. I wonder if the killer could ask staff to help hide the body…
Nope, Rule 12, got it. Still, this one's pretty straightforward, thankfully. Also, around this time I'm really getting restless for the autopsy for some reason lol.
“Ellis: Sucks to see you.
Aidan: What a warm greeting.
Ellis: Well, I was trying to trick you into complimenting me or flirting with me. I deserve it, after everything you’ve put me through.
Aidan: I don’t think you really do…” Pfft- Ellis, is this really the time? xD
“He hands me the list from the desk. Among lots of regular orders, there’s a section Aidan’s flipped to of several anonymous orders from four days ago: poison, five timer boxes, and a large black sheet.” Welp. Can't really get much more explicit than that with this one lol.
"Ellis: If anyone can stumble into something like this, then clearly their real talent lies somewhere beyond what Monoquin told us. Unless it’s Mark, I guess. That is the kind of move that would make me go ???.” How do you even pronounce triple question mark with your mouth???
“Aidan: Anyone could’ve been lying to us about what they do or don’t know. It’s not like anyone’s going to admit to knowing how to do any of this.
He pauses.
Aidan: Other than Vivi, anyway.
Ellis: Point taken.” Pfft.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Customer Service Order List
(Btw since this thing became a real Truth Bullet, I removed it from my personal non-canon Notes :p)
“Harper quickly leans down to pick up the poker chips. However, as ver hand touches the floor, ve pauses.
Harper: It’s wet.
Ellis: With water, or…?
Harper: It seems to be water, yes.” ??? Alright so this one's breaking all sorts of ideas I had. If blood was spilt here… What does it mean? I got nothing for now, I'll come back to it ig. {Hindsight: I realize it sounds like I think the liquid is blood and not water lol. I should have clarified that my first instinct was that blood was spilt on the carpet and got washed :p}
Also I wonder to what extent the fact that Noah accidentally knocked the chips down was affected by Ellis’ luck. I've always found it funny how any time Ultimate Luck is involved, you can easily write out plot convenience as Ultimate Luck business xD
“Noah: If [Staff members] break a rule, do they get executed…?
Harper: There are certainly a lot of questions surrounding this place…” Good question! Interesting to think about.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Damp Casino Carpet
“The pieces have been laid out on the Infirmary’s bed, roughly recreating Cass’ normal figure. Vivi looks over the body while Kennedy stands nearby. Robert sits on a nearby chair, looking decisively away from the body.” Bro get my boy Robert outta there, he probably wants to be literally in any other room ToT.
“Vivi: Yeah. Stabbed in the stomach, then cut up into pieces. Sewed the seams of the pieces for transport, put them in boxes. Pretty simple, once you boil it down to basics.” Well. Cass sure was stabbed, so there goes one possible lie. Also "pretty simple” is wild.
“Vivi: I mean, I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t done a few Vivi-sections before, but on a person…?
Robert: …Do you mean dissections…?
Vivi: …Yup!” Judging from that triple dot, Vivi's absolutely done actual vivisections hasn't she. At least they haven't done it on humans I guess.
“Kennedy: It was found in five groups. The arms were together, and the legs were together. Then there was one for the stomach, one for the torso, and one for the head.” Well… more info!
“Vivi: So, did you wanna hear my autopsy?
Ellis: Go ahead. It’ll be… music to my ears…
Ugh, even my lines aren’t faring well…” Yeah no xD
"Vivi: The stab wound, while it might’ve been fatal if untreated long enough, wasn’t the cause of death. The poison was.” So I was right last week about the poison being the murder weapon. Still heavily side-eyeing Paris because of the “Toxic” cover, because judging from… everything going on, it's the type of foreshadowing I could see this completely demented (/positive) writer pulling off :p
“Vivi: The time of death… It’s not really my specialty, and there’s only so far you can get with forensics. I think that Cass died sometime between 1 and 2:30, which could support the File. It could still be a little off, though.” Hm… I wonder how close to the actual time of death the file needs to get to be considered correct. But I'm starting to really consider the idea that the murder happened in the Casino… I'll come back to it.
"Vivi: The poison seemed to be pretty fast-acting… the stab wound happened before she died… aaand, I think it’d take any killer a few hours to cut up and sew the body, even if they did have experience with it. Though, given the time of death, that’s pretty achievable for anyone.” Stabbed before she died is actually quite huge. Again, more stuff to think about.
Truth Bullet Obtained: Chopped Body
Truth Bullet Obtained: Vivi’s Autopsy
“Dun, Dun, Dun, Dun!” Yeah, it felt like it was coming. I'll finish the part, then really start thinking about the murder.
“To cut up the body like that, hemming their edges and scattering them about the resort like a cat with a bird… that’s fucked up!!! My first thought is clearly that someone like Vivi (...or, looking at the rest of the field, just Vivi, I guess) must have done the crime.” Bruh. Why does no one trust the clearly mentally unstable doctor with the evident ability to perform the murder? No respect for the classics smh.
Also I love the images in this section! Particularly appreciate the Cass one, I like seeing where she was cut because I'm insane! :D
“Or did the killer know something that could be used to target her that we didn’t?” Hey, I was kinda thinking the same thing!
Tumblr media
Why is Paris still smiling like nothing's wrong is she crazy? I love her.
“Like, I had assumed that we were just gonna deal with a “Professor Plum with the rope in the kitchen” situation, and we’d figure out who didn’t have an alibi for 3 PM.” Okay so the professor Plum thing is apparently a reference to the board game Clue (or maybe the movie or something, idk I only know the board game), which I guess makes sense for Ellis to think about since it’s close enough to other luck based board games that are actually seen in casinos lol.
However, the fact Ellis chose to reference "Professor Plum” specifically worries me. Surely, he doesn't actually think plum is a good name for a color, right? Can't believe accirax would let her silly ideas of what colors are called seep into the characters she plays smh, that shit's purple call it what it is (/silly reference).
“I’m gonna have to get used to this, won’t I? Now that brutal blood has been spilled and new motives are queued to the setlist, there’s no way that Cass’ death will be the only one. I hope they won’t all be just like this, but… yikes. Not to mention, all future killers will now have a better grasp of what these “Class Trials” are like. Sheesh. With a crime this bizarre, I kinda feel like I have to pitch in. Should I go grab a cheerleader outfit?
…I guess if I come up with something brilliant, I can speak up, too. Who wouldn’t want to hear my melodic voice?” Come on Ellis, you should have a little more confidence in yourself! You're played by a really smart person, after all ;) As long as no one asks you to name colors, you'll be fine.
[CLASS TRIAL: START] Woohoo!
-
Extremely fun chapter! The investigation was very well paced, and has a great mix of answers and questions to raise! Cannot wait for the trial, it's gonna go crazy.
But of course, now that the evidence is there, you know what we need to do.
Pre-Trial Murder Theory
Let's start by looking at the cause of death, because this is the quickest mystery to explain. There's obviously a few questions that arise just looking at how Cass died, especially taking account they died during the night. Mainly, how did Cass get poisoned that late in the night, when she'd probably not trust any food given to her? And, why was she stabbed if the poison was fast acting and the real cause of death anyways? Without knowing what the poison was and what the stabbing implement looks like, these are tough to answer.
I thought up a few different explanations (such as the stabber and the poisoner being two separate people), but what I find most likely is that, in reality, the stabbing and the poisoning weren't two different attacks on Cass' life. No, I believe Cass was stabbed with a sharp object tipped with poison. That would explain why the stab was necessary while still giving an explanation to how Cass got poisoned in the first place.
The next question would be the water on the casino carpet. This one has a pretty straightforward explanation, but it's important to mention now. Basically, at first glance, it seems Cass was actually murdered in front of the locked door in the casino (the place the water was according to E-Handbook text), potentially lured there by the killer saying they had a way to open that door (complete speculation, I don't really know). The water would come from the killer washing the carpet... I guess. As a result, the Monquin File Lie would be the location of death.
The other explanation is that the killer may have taken the carpet outside the casino, murdered Cass somewhere else, and used the carpet to soak up all the blood from the dismemberment, before washing it and putting it back in the casino. However, given we don't know of any other place where the murder could have happened, I find the first option more likely.
And believe it or not, that, combined with the floor movement tracker, potentially narrows down our suspect list... or does it? [cue Vsauce music]. See, assuming Cass avoids her movement tracker (which is a pretty big assumption, to be clear), the killer trips it once at 1 AM, and once at 6 AM. Assuming Cass died in the casino at 2 AM, that would mean that the 1 AM detection represents the killer leaving the fourth floor, and the 6 AM detection represents them going back into the fourth floor, presumably to leave the torso up on the upper common room. However, the sensor isn't tripped again until the next morning, meaning the killer must have stayed in the fourth floor. They probably couldn't have slept in Cass' room, because it was locked (see: "Mark walks over to the door to Cass’ room. After displaying the e-Handbook, the door unlocks") and Cass' E-Handbook was locked inside one of the 8:15 AM boxes. That means the only option is that the killer's room is on the fourth floor...
Or is it? Let me run through the proceedings, and see if you can spot the issue.
The killer goes up to Cass' room, and tells them they have something to show her in the casino. For some reason, Cass believes them, and goes with them. On the way, Cass avoids her movement sensor, but the killer trips it, generating the 1 AM reading.
Now, an interesting issue is that these two leave the fourth floor at 1AM, but Jeff was wandering around until 1:30 AM (again info from the E-Handbook, I don't think the guy actually says it), and didn't see anyone. I believe this is where the resort lighting comes in: Cass and the killer didn't want to be spotted (I guess?), so when they noticed Jeff was wandering around, they hid in the Movie Theater's darkness until Jeff finally went into the Lower Common Room (third floor).
In any case, they wait a bit more to make sure Jeff is actually gone gone, and finally get down to the casino around 2 AM. The killer stabs Cass with a poison tipped sharp object, and Cass dies very quickly.
Then, the killer does something that causes a noise at 2:30 AM that Jeff hears. I'm gonna be honest, I don't have a great answer for this one. My current guess is that the killer maybe went to retrieve the dolly from the Customer Service Desk (second floor), and somehow made a noise loud enough to be heard from the third floor? Possibly operating the elevator or rolling the dolly down the stairs if it's too big for the elevator or something. Both the elevator and the stairs down to the first floor are directly under the lower common room, so I don't find it 100% impossible. Maybe Jeff just sucks at identifying the direction sound comes from?
Yeah this is the weakest point of my theory imo.
In any case, after the noise is made, the killer dismembers Cass. I imagine they did this over the black tarp found in the Costumer Service Desk, so they could avoid soaking the Casino carpet with more blood than necessary. In fact, washing that carpet before the blood dried is probably important, but that's a minor point.
The dismemberment takes a while, but with no one around, it's easy enough to pull off before morning comes. The killer then distributes the body pieces throughout the building for as of yet undisclosed reasons. They return to the fourth floor, hide the torso in the upper common room box, and finally go back to their room. And because the sensor was only tripped once at 6 AM, the killer's room must be on the fourth floor, right?
...
Right?
...
Did you spot the problem?
...
That's right. The dolly's final location.
Indeed. The day after the murder, the dolly is found in the Costumer Service Desk, on the second floor. And since this dolly was presumably used to distribute the body parts (see: blood on the dolly), that means the killer would need to somehow go into the fourth floor to drop off the torso and back down to the second floor to drop the dolly off in a way that only set off the sensor once. That's a problem.
So, how do we explain this? I considered a few options. For one, I thought that maybe the killer could have killed Cass in her own room at 2 AM, or the upper common room at 1 AM (the lie in the Monoquin file being location or time of death respectively). If they went into the fourth floor with the dolly and tarp, they could have dismembered Cass then and there (presumably in Cass' own room to avoid other people seeing), put their torso in the box of the upper common room, and left to distribute the rest of the corpse at 6 AM. However, that fails to explain the carpet in the casino and the noise at 2:30 (not that I have a great explanation for the latter anyways, but y'know), and there are no signs of struggle in the fourth floor that could point to this possibility. Because of that, while I consider this possible, I don't consider it the most likely option.
Then, there's the other option. The killer did everything I described, but did something strange that caused the sensor to only go off once at 6 AM. For example, leaving the dolly in the CSD before dropping off the torso, and carrying said torso up to the fourth floor by hand. The problem is that the killer has no reason to treat the box on the fourth floor any differently than the others, so they wouldn't have any reason not to go into the fourth floor with the dolly.
That is, of course, unless the killer knew about the sensors.
It makes sense, doesn't it? Cass would need to trust someone very heavily to follow them out during night, and especially if I'm right about them going into the darkness of the Movie Theater together. Hell, she even said in Part 3:
"Mark: Then… what should we do?
Cass: The same things you’ve been doing. All you need to do is keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and engage in safe behavior. Stay in groups or well-lit areas. Don’t go out at night. Those sorts of things should keep you safe enough while we figure out the mysteries of this place."
So they're clearly aware of the dangers they took going out, but they still did it. If they trusted the killer this much, I don't think it's impossible that they might have told the killer about the sensors.
This is where the lack of notes in Cass' E-Handbook could come in. If Cass told the killer about the sensors, she might have written that down as a note. And since that note would have likely included the identity of the killer, said killer chose to wipe out all the notes to avoid being implicated through them. They likely did this with bloody hands, explaining the blood on Cass' handbook. In this process, they could have also wiped incriminating chat logs, if any existed. Assuming that's a thing they can do, of course.
In any case, the killer knowing about the sensors could allow them to easily tamper with the info simply by dodging detection whenever they wanted, as the sensors are easy to dodge if you know they're there. Keeping in line with the theory I was working with, they could have intentionally tripped it when they went up to the fourth floor with the dolly and the torso, and dodged detection on the way down (or the other way around, it's indistinct).
The big question, then, becomes "why?" What were they trying to accomplish by screwing with the readings? Well, to know that, we need to figure out what location the killer wants the cast to believe is the real death location.
See, if the cast thinks Cass died on the fourth floor and takes the readings at face value, they would arrive at the conclusion that the killer's room is on the third floor. Conversely, if the cast thinks Cass died on any other floor and takes the readings at face value, then they would arrive at the conclusion that the killer's room is on the fourth floor. Do the math in your head if you don't believe me. But if the readings were tampered with, we'd need to flip that. A fourth floor killer would want the cast to believe the killer's on the third floor, so they'd want the cast to think Cass was murdered on the fourth floor. Meanwhile, a third floor killer would want the cast to think Cass was murdered somewhere else.
Does that make sense? Sorry if this is hard to follow, I don't know how to explain it in any simpler way :v
And, well, where does the killer want the cast to think Cass was murdered? I think it's hard to say for sure, but given they hid evidence she died in the casino by washing the carpet, and that they left the dolly in the second floor (which would imply the killer wants people to interpret the 6 AM reading as the killer leaving the fourth floor), I'm gonna say the killer wants people to believe the killer lives on the third floor. Which especially makes sense if they want to frame Antonia, who was Cass' number 1 hater up until their death and happens to live on the third floor. With this, it's very possible the killer lives on the fourth floor.
The fourth floor room havers are Kennedy, Ellis, Vivi, Robert, Grace, Cass, Noah, and Harper. Ellis can't be the killer through protag privilege, Robert has been shown to be too queasy to pull this off, and I'm gonna go out on a limb (pun not intended) and say Cass didn't somehow dismember themselves. Crazy assumption, I know.
As for the others, Vivi can probably be eliminated due to how useful she's been, and Harper's the one who originally found the water on the casino carpet that the killer wouldn't want found. Noah's a weird case, because he originally thinks the water is unrelated, which could be a blackened play, but he flags down the staff member to ask about it, which suggests he genuinely believed that, which is spotless behavior. Finally, I can't really see Kennedy as the first killer, though I think she's the second most likely of the fourth floor just because I don't actually have any real evidence to clear them.
That leaves us with Grace- how has this happened again. I swear I don't have anything against Clockmakers, they just keep being in the wrong place, and ironically at the wrong time :v
However, just because I think Grace is the most likely to be the killer out of the fourth floor crew, doesn't mean I think they're the most likely overall. It's possible the killer didn't think about the implications of the dolly, and that there's an even more elaborate plan at play here.
Here's the idea I'm working with for a third floor killer. They'd effectively have two separate ideas at play during the trial. First, they'd try to convince the cast to vote for Antonia, because she's likely going to be the number one suspect due to her pre-existing beef with Cass. For that to happen, they need the cast to think the murder happened in the fourth floor, be it Cass' room or the common room, because there's no way Cass would follow Antonia literally anywhere else on the building. That's why they'd initially try to hide the blood on the casino carpet, so that the first plan doesn't fall apart immediately. However, if Antonia gets cleared somehow, they have another card to play. They can reveal that they "found" the water on the casino floor (or wait for someone else, like Harper, Noah or Ellis to do it), implying Cass was murdered there, and with the sensor readings, argue that the killer must live on the fourth floor. Of course, this assumes that the dolly's final location is an oversight by the blackened, and probably the mistake that would lead to the killer's downfall.
Now, make no mistake, this is fucking insane even for my standards, especially for a first trial, but I think it makes enough sense to maybe work.
This is how Paris!Culprit can still win, which if you don't remember, is born from the fact that Paris made Cass and Antonia's beef public (establishing motive for a potential frame job), that she could start talking to Cass with the excuse of getting help with the "Paris Pairs" idea mentioned in Part 3, and that she covered Toxic in Part 1. Though, admittedly, Mark being the one to find the sensor readings is suspicious in its own right, but I don't really think they're the killer, especially since they'd have the least motive to escape out of anyone. No one else on the third floor really strikes me as particularly suspicious, especially since third floor killers require fifteen more hoops to jump through than fourth floor killers with my murder theory.
Overall, I think Grace, Paris, and Noah are my main suspects, and if I have to lock just one in... I really don't want to say Grace because it'd just be ridiculous at this point (I already said they might be the mastermind someone save my pal T_T), so I'll say Paris and hope that the clinically insane mindgames I described in the third floor killer idea make enough sense to anyone else.
Of course, though, this entire theory is just that, a theory. There's a very high chance that I'm just completely off the mark, and that'd be perfectly fine! This is all just for fun, after all, and I'm just a silly Tumblr user thinking too hard about fictional characters. I'm by no means an expert in solving murders or anything lol. Extremely excited to see just how horrendously wrong I am next week, I'm sure the trial will be absolute peak!
If you made it this far, you've earned a complimentary poison tipped knife! Please be careful with it. See ya'!

I've only been back in sky for a day and I can't believe I forgot just how lovely the sky community is T^T.
I've already made a few new friends, there's more old friends than I expected to see again, considering I haven't been able to play in over a year! I'm so happy to see all of them!
But since it's been a year+, I'm feeling like quite the moth again XD. I've been sticking close to ikemen, following them along their maximum efficiency candle routes because I've forgotten them all, and they've all been so sweet lol. A couple even picked up on it and waited for me while I caught up! No words, no friend candle needed, no judgement for my 11th wing and yet rookie skill and mapping.
Moths are so cute still, very demanding in their own ways because they haven't got the emotes to properly communicate and REALLY want you to hold their hand ^^
And just exploring again, it's been so wonderful. I'm not pushing myself to candle run yet, just getting used s to it all - I remember candle locations and routes so well still lol. But the new places!!! There must have been like 5 seasons come and gone, there's so much new stuff just waiting! I've been stumbling across them left and right! The new map thing is so good, even if it's not really useful lol. I keep feeling I'm missing stones because of how cloud covered everything is still. I honestly think the season locations might outnumber the base game areas lol!
One new friend and I had an emote-off while waiting at the 8 door lmao, that thing took forever but we had great fun challenging each other to find the matching emote XD. And they know songs!
But jeebus krill are way scarier than I remember - what's the current state of anti krill tactics?? Are tgc winning?

I know the scientists had their memories involving mewtwos wiped, but what happened serves afterward? Have any of them been caught doing illegal experiments and justice was served? Are any of them rotting in prison?
Not really sure what they've been up to after that. After Jeo wiped their minds, he left the facility with Amber and kinda just...left the scientists there XD

What're Emi and the gang like? Is Emi the (pushy) leader type? :D Did they keep in contact with Husk as they got older?
Thank you for the ask!! 💖 this is gonna get so long I'm sorry haha
The gang lives in the port city of Iljak in a country called Chondath (Forgotten Realms lore though the campaign I'm in is home-brew)
Emi- Emi is the defacto leader of the group as the most outgoing human, she can slip through a crowd quite easily and talk her way out of most situations. While she has the group doing doing odd jobs for the thieves guild, she hopes to raise enough money to get the gang (who she sees as her family) out of Chondath and into a neighbouring country that treats the poor and non-humans better (ie not kill on sight for the latter) and ideally wants to get into the magic item trade as a legitimate business like her family.
Emi herself is a bastard, her mother was a foreign merchant and her father is a minor royal. They had intended to marry but her father's family got involved since it wasn't a marriage that would benefit his family. Emi's mother became his mistress in secret and they had two children, Emi and Gus but when the royal family found out they dragged Emi and her family's name through the mud and had Emi's mother killed. Emi and Gus were hidden just in time by their uncle, who still lives in the city unable to leave having been stripped of his wealth and title so he spends his days drinking and Emi takes care of him when she's not with the gang.
Husk knew Emi for about 5 years before she was caught stealing and killed as punishment, this caused Husk and the gang's lives to spiral after losing their best friend and Husk lost contact with everyone after being found out as a fey and sent to the wizard's tower.
Gus - Gus is Emi's younger brother who likes to cause trouble and has less of a moral compass than Emi. He and Husk have been rivals ever since they met but it mellowed out to something more friendly as they got older. Gus has a knack for pushing people's buttons XD
Andi - Andi is a tiefling and the oldest of the group, he works for the thieves guild but spends his free time making sure Emi and the gang are safe. He was originally from a merchant family who were trying to hide his tiefling appearance and spent most of his life in luxury at the cost of his freedom. He escaped that life and his helping Emi with her dream to move to Turmish and start a business there. I have a comic with him here XD
Sonni - Sonni is a young orphaned girl the gang picked up a few months before Husk, she's shy and rarely speaks but is very sweet. She is very nimble and makes a great thief and a wonderful dancer XD
The twins - despite them being created the same time as the others i haven't settled on names for them 😭 these two are half-elven and were born in a small village bordering the Chondalwood forest and were left to their human father to raise but due to Chondath's distrust of even half-elves, they had a rough time growing up, eventually the twins fled to the city under the belief they might have more chances in Iljak but unfortunately the city was stricter and worse it's treatment of non humans. Emi found them soon after they arrived and they've been with the group ever since.
Those are the main members, other kids have come and gone but this is the core group who have stayed together since Husk arrived :D

Man, I think it's really insane what I get to do for work right now and just genuinely that its both something I'm EXTREMELY good and a natural at in a way that is really just honestly undeniable to anyone looking and also just something that no one is even trying to deny.
For those not caught up, I was assisting in the re-opening of a youth mental health crisis center and we have recently soft opened for like two weeks ago with a cap limit of like 4 kids at a time and like the two weeks before opening, it was really apparent that the really unbothered and radical acceptance and just positive redirection skills I got from ALL the fucking therapy and processing and communication I've had to do to heal from trauma, DID, and just live a good life was SUPER essential to keeping the team from having a collective mental breakdown and falling apart
But now that we actually have kids, I'm honestly immediately getting a SUPER reputation as one of the best at building rapport, creating not only a safe but fun and motivating environment, and just really all together creating a space where kids are EXCITED to do things and are EXCITED to try things when they go back home (as we only do short term inpatient care)
And unironically all of the five kids that we've had so far have all actively communicated to my coworkers and peers that they really liked me, asking to have me in to support on CPS visits and just finding themselves specifically comfortable with sharing a lot of hard and vulnerable topics with me and just?
I'm really just being me. Like I'm really just engaging with people I would have engaged with in general online for free and curating a positive, hope providing, and kinda fun environment for people who are going through a long and hard but necessary journey has just always been just... kind of my thing?
And honestly I'm getting paid pretty well to just really be a supportive adult role model / support / aid for kids who are in crisis, had an attempt mere like VERY recently, and just help them regain a sense of stable and - if I can - uplift them to have something to look forward to while assisting the therapists in giving them skills to apply to help navigate returning home and man.
A lot of the time I leave work feeling like I just left a like... fun summer camp counseling day or hanging out with lil mentees and I really don't genuinely feel like this is real work? XD
It's so fucking insane and the fact that I genuinely think literally everyone at my work likes me? Like a lot? and even the boss that was a little toxic in early opening due to stress seems to really like me??? And I'm just like???
I'm an outstanding employee and yet I'm just out here straight VIBING man.
But like literally today, some of the other staff were just side eyeing (positively) since I was sitting in for the ACT and Meditation / Mindfulness therapy session to support since we only had one client and we were just like XD laughing and having a ball with the therapist and client despite ALSO talking about some really heavy personal topics and navigating some potentially triggering sitautions that the client themselves asked for me and the therapist to roleplay and discuss and its just?
Man like, job statisfaction 100 right now and its insane
Cause I was having an AWFUL Tuesday (refused to let it STAY awful cause I don't believe in forfeiting my day to be a "bad day" without a fight) and I was even telling my therapist, one of the things in the week I'm looking forward to is ACTUALLY going into work and part of me was like "Yeah yeah, tell yourself that, theres no way work is GENUINELY something you want to do"
But like? Genuinely? It absolutely was a great break and not even in the "something to distract myself" but just because its a structured environment where the whole task and game is to create a calm, stable, safe, supportive, and - where appropriate - fun environment.
And honestly, these kids really honestly sometimes really seem as though they've really just not had someone look at them in a while and be genuinely interested in who they are and what they are doing because like? Dude some of these kids are literally the coolest and most amazing kids around and in these two weeks alone I've been taught a lot of really awesome things during our downtimes.
It's honestly such an honor and a pleasure to be able to just sit in during a brief period of these kiddos life. Like damn.

Wolf! Frank & Joey Headcanons
(requested by @screamqueen10)
!!! (these are NOT shipping headcanons. just ones of these two interacting because let's face it, they've definitely got an alpha complex going on haha)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
──────── GIFs are not mine
as stated previously in this post, Frank is the alpha, but Joey is the alpha-female. this causes them to fight almost over everything. their tempers are short, so it doesn't take long for one to phase and strike and the other follows.
if these two fight, you'll need some sincere divine intervention. someone like Peter, Rickles, Lazar, or Lambert would be the most promising to break them apart.
Frank likes to test Joey, purposefully going around Abigail or Caleb to act as if he were hunting them.
Joey challenges Frank's authority out of her loathing his arrogance and ambition. she feels that he thinks he's entitled to the pack's business just because he's the alpha. (example from something i've been writing from my Abigail Werewolf AU):
Another trek across the travertine to the left side of the yard had her panting in trying to fight the heat. She hadn’t realized someone had come out, until she heard a distinguishable voice. “You mind tellin’ me why you’re out here wandering around like you can’t stand to be inside with the rest of us?” Frank. She was not in the mood to put up with his shit. She stopped on the grass but didn’t turn around to look at him. “Actually, I do.” Frank’s ears twitched, “Hmm.” Clearly, there was a problem. “So, something’s definitely wrong.” He caught her soft growl and the almost painful lower of her hips. “What’s got you all moody, Joey? Is it Shark Week?” She could’ve wished. But she knew that was a jab. “No,” she rolled her eyes and actually glanced over her shoulder. “I’m fine. I just wanna be alone, right now.” But the red wolf didn’t move, just tilted his head with a poor excuse for a pitied expression. “Oh, did we run out of candy again?” he teased. It was fake anyway. “No!” she snapped, baring her teeth in a warning as her hips lowered even more, but this time, it was more defensive, the fur on her hackles bristling in the sunlight. “Then, what?” he demanded, more serious now. “I told you. I want to be alone.” Now, Joey turned around to retrace her steps towards him. “You’re not the alpha of this pack, and you’re not the alpha of me. I don’t have to tell you shit, so back off,” she growled, thrusting her muzzle forward to make him pull back a little. The other’s eyes darkened as they narrowed, and a low growl rumbled in his throat. “You’re not my fuckin’ alpha either, so I suggest you watch your tone.” Her ears turned back, which led him to continue. “You won’t sit the fuck down and you’ve been whining all day.” There was a slight falter in her demeanor. “Oh, you think we haven’t noticed? Kinda hard not to when fuckin’ wolf telepathy is a thing.” By now, his own fur was rising, and his lips were starting to reveal more of his teeth.
i know no one asked for that, but i told you i would share some of my werewolf!au stuff 🤭
Frank is much easier to control as a wolf than a human. Joey is the opposite, she's more controllable as a human than a wolf.
because Frank's the "confirmed" alpha, it's his instinctive duty to check on all the pack members, even if it's subtly. he won't admit it, but he does trust Joey's instincts, both human and wolf, (which he also appreciates) so he tends to make his "check-in" on her more noticeable, likely engaging in conversation.
Joey's extremely smart and that irritates Frank.
they growl at each other just because. if Frank growls, Joey will growl back at him even if it wasn't directed towards her, and vise-versa.
they can never "play fight" without it turning into them trying to dominate each other. they just piss each other off xD.
are those ok?? again, this was harder than i anticipated but it could be because i'm sleep-deprived haha. i hope you like them and lmk if you want more! much love 🩶🩶🩶

Hey, hey, guess what I stumbled upon, or what I've managed to figure out: Boroughsburg has payphones!, and they've been there since the beginning, duh! Any clue on how to make them work? I've tried to get them functional with your mod's script, but it seems like they need more than that, but I'm clueless, honestly haha!
Tumblr media
Hey there Josh, Apologies for it being a while since you originally sent this...I've been caught up in a flurry of work for the last long while. This turned out to be a novel 📝, so I'll hide it under here:
So the payphones in Boroughsburg are likely deco items, so they are there for visual appeal but do not have a function! The ones that I posted were the same, they were originally deco items. What I did to make them work was even more simple than a mod, but honestly so tedious! Wall phones already exist in TS3 (can you believe my surprise that they don't have those in TS4??), so I cloned a wall phone to start. Then I imported the mesh for the payphone I wanted to overwrite the old one, as well as the textures. The next thing to do for items like this is to add geostates. These seem to be at least somewhat unique to TS3 and sims game creation-spaces in general, so it was hard to learn how to do this or what in the world a geostate is. They're present in a lot of TS3 objects, starting from the base game. For example, the bookcase getting more or less full based on how many books are in it, food plates getting slowly more empty until they are completely clean when the sim is done eating, pizza slices disappearing, drink glasses becoming empty when the sim is done (some of these are geostates, some are effects), the phone handset disappearing from the phone when the sim "picks it up" etc...there are so many more but these are just some examples. How these work, at least from a CC creating standpoint, is modification of the mesh in TSR Workshop. When you set the geostates, you are telling the game to remove certain polygons/parts of the mesh when needed. So the entire mesh is there, but parts of it disappear and reappear when told to. So the handset on the payphone when not in use stays, but when a sim interacts, that piece of the mesh disappears. The handset sims actually use is another default object called from somewhere else, like the mop sims use to clean puddles that they carry around in their pocket everywhere XD Setting geostates is a painful clicking activity. You need to de-select each individual triangle that you want to disappear for a geostate. Some objects have more than one (like bookshelves). With certain meshes, it is enough to drive one up a wall. Simple enough but definitely one of the most annoying CC creation tasks! This is also something important to keep in mind that with objects that have geostates, they will be invisible in-game if you don't make sure to set up their geostates. Even if you don't plan to make them dynamic (eg, a bookcase that never gets empty or full, just stays the same no matter how many or little books are added), they need to have all faces selected for their geostates or else they will be invisible in-game. This is luckily easy, there's a shortcut to select all at once (the exact shortcut fails me, but I'm pretty sure TSRW tells you when you're in the editor). This was a long winded half-rant about geostates but I hope this (and maybe this tutorial here) helps give you an idea of how these work @joshttewloves!

Liang and Smokey were rivals to lovers.
Smokey was going to his favorite moody cliff to brood dramatically only to find that there was someone already there. They fight about it, and Smokey totally isn't impressed by how strong and handsome skilled this new guy is. He manages to chase the stranger off, but it keeps happening. The rest of the monkeys just kinda watch their soap opera happen.
It continues this way until the Rampage through Heaven where Liang gets super angry at Smokey for doing something that puts the entire troop in danger because of his own issues and ends up leaving before sh*t goes sideways. Smokey definitely doesn't regret their final argument as he's imprisoned under the mountain for 500 years.
They don't meet again til the Journey, right after poor Fruit Baby died and Smokey is all kinds of torn up inside. They of course have another argument, with Liang throwing all of Smokey's flaws and mistakes in his face and it escalates to physical violence. They're tearing up the countryside, terrifying the local deities. And then...
Smokey: IF YOU HATE ME SO MUCH, THEN WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE??!!
Liang: I DON'T HATE YOU!
*both pause, equally taken aback*
Liang, quietly: ...I don't hate you. I never hated you. It would've been so much easier if I did.....
*Smokey comes closer and puts a hand on Liang's face, gently wiping away a tear*
Smokey: I don't hate you either.
AND THEN THEY KISS!
They're so edgy and emo and I love it. 🖤
Heeheehee. The problem with two tsundere's falling in love. XD
Liang (Reborn's LEM) has been "an annoying shadow" to Smokey (Reborn SWK) his entire life it seems.
Tumblr media
As cubs on Flower Fruit Mountain? Liang was there as a fellow outcast who combed through the future king's fur. The fellow monkey dubbing him "Smokey" after mistaking his facial marking for volcanic soot.
As a student under Subodhi? Smokey swore he'd see a fellow monkey demon watching him curiously as he tended to the monastery's garden.
When the newly dubbed Sun Wukong returned to the island and found it ravaged by the Demon of Havoc? The infuriating snow macaque was at the King's side to help save his people.
When the Brotherhood of Sages formed? The Great Sage Informing Wind was crowned alongside the Great Sage Equalling Heaven. Many dinner fights were had. Brother Lion joked that their arguements were more entertaining than any opera he'd seen.
When a certain Havoc rocked Heaven and put a target on Flower Fruit Mountain? The Macaque had grabbed the King by the shoulders and shouted at him, teeth bared. A nasty physical fight ensued, one that got so bad that the Stalwarts had to step in and separate the two. The smaller monkey shrieking that they hated their King and that they'll never forgive him for what he had done.
Still, Smokey swears he still saw a familar shadow visit him in those 500 years under the mountain.
Even now? As "Monkey" traipsed across the continent for a task that could take him a few minutes if not for this stupid spiritual Journey? He sees a cloaked figure following behind him. Never speaking, but he knows there's quick wit and a sharp tongue behind those lips...
He had dubbed the other monkey "Liang" in his mind so long ago due to the thick silvery fur that caught moonlight like a reflection in the water. He thought it was a far nicer name than "Liu'er Mihou/Six Eared Macaque".
Smokey honestly doesn't know *what* him and Liang are. Friends? Enemies? Rivals? They've traded as many punches as they have secrets. And out of all his connections from before the Mountain, Liang seems to be the only one of the Sages to want to confront him head-on.
Of course the whole situation with Yuandi and Fruitie happens...
That very night, Smokey finds a familar dark robed figure sitting at the spot on the mountain he had claimed for his own. This time Liang doesn't whisk away into the shadows.
Liang, mocking bravado: "The Monkey King! Great Sage Equal to Heaven! Punished once again for pilferingproduce!" Smokey, growling: "I'm not in the mood Liu'er." Liang: "Oh, but I am!" *jumps off rock and walks closer* "You see, there's a lot of talk that you destroyed a heavenly tree. One that contained super dangerous primordial demon. One that everyone seems to think is their ancestor! Do you know, how many demons I had to run and hide from to prevent that overgrown worm from finding me?!" Smokey, shit-eating smirk: "You've always been so good at running and hiding." Liang, pouncing: *angry snarl!* *monkey fight ensues*
Which all leads to... yeah. Confessions and a first kiss occurs in the carnage of their fighting.
Liang bolts back into the shadows the second silence falls. Smokey is left dismayed and hopeful. He feels better than he's felt in a long while, he just hopes Liang doesn't stop being his shadow...
And then the next time they meet, Liang is holding a pink-ish monkey cub who seems to reach out towards the Monkey King like he's an old friend...
