I heard it was post smut Thursday, well here's something that was on my mind and in my drafts for a long time.
Set at an undefined time in the Stormblood patches, Meryta swings by Onokoro again (of course)
Fandom: Final Fantasy XIV | Words : 918 | Read on Ao3
Metyta Khatin (wol) x Tansui | SB patches | smut Rating: Explicit. Sexual content, oral sex, fun times, banter, semi-public sex
Good Company
“I told you you’d be back”
Meryta laughs, joy bubbling in her belly.
“I am. What are you going to do about it?”
“Come?”
He grabs her hand, but his tone is a question, so she nods and follows him willingly.
As soon as they’re out of sight of everyone else, up the stairs and behind a building, he pushes her against the wall and kisses her soundly.
“Missed me?“ she gasps between kisses, “that much?”
“You’re the one who followed me.”
She has nothing to say to that, not when he is kissing her neck, eagerly sucking bruises into it, worrying her flesh and scales between his teeth. The skirt she’s wearing is terribly short, her top leaving her belly bare, and perhaps it was not an accident. She throws her head back when he sinks to his knees, and kisses the exposed skin there, digging his hands into her ass. She clutches his shoulders and moans, biting her lip to prevent too much noise from escaping.
They’re not really private here, not even the illusion of a closed door between them and whoever may be assigned on guard here, or wandering the stairs on their own business.
Tansui doesn’t care, bracing her against the wall, pulling one leg over his shoulder, kissing the inside of her thigh. She bucks against him when he sucks, another place she’ll surely have bruises tomorrow. He didn’t forget when she said she liked it, and he seems more than excited by it.
He kisses her again, bolts of want running through her as his hot lips meet the sensitive flesh on her thighs. She bucks her hips forward when he bites her, and sticks her hand in her mouth. She doesn’t want to be heard, and she doesn’t want him to stop.
He doesn’t, his eyes mischievous as he kisses the bruise he just made, brushing his lips against her scales, as he’s kissing the leg still on the ground.
She moans into her hand.
Tansui grins.
“Stay quiet, now.”
“I thought you had a – oh!”
With one hand, he pushes her smalls aside, and his mouth is right there, licking, sucking at her most sensitive spots. She does her best not to let out any more noises, but she knows she is unable to be completely quiet. Right now she doesn’t care if anyone hears or comes to investigate – Confederacy recruits or the Auspices or the emperor of Garlemald himself. Tansui sucks and she moans into her hand, her other falling on his head, tangling in his hair.
Tansui doesn’t let up, using one hand to keep her steady, the other tangled in her smalls. Satisfied they stay out of the way, his hand falls down where she can’t see as he lets out a low moan against her cunt. She pushes him closer, clenching around nothing, pleasure building in waves down her spine. He’s already as close as he can get, relentless in his pursuit of her pleasure, sucking, licking, beard scraping against sensitive flesh, his teeth pressing against her clit in delightful pressure.
She throws back her head and has to squeeze her eyes shut, focusing on staying upright. There’s a rustle of fabric and she realizes he’s working himself, aroused by the pleasure he brings her. It’s enough to bring her over, her climax hitting her in a furious burst. Tansui keeps going, but lets up a little, the aftershock having her tilt her hips off the wall and into him. When she looks down, he pulls back and grins up at her, dark lashes and her juices smeared across his chin.
She vaguely feels she should do something, touch him, but she’s lost in a post orgasmic haze, simply patting his hair awkwardly. Her legs wobble as she slides her left leg down from his shoulder, and he lets go of her, busy touching himself. Unable to keep herself upright, she slides all the way down to the ground, sitting against the wall. Her eyes are locked at where his hand is wrapped around his cock, stroking it fast and firm. Tansui’s eyes close and with grunt he comes, his spend hitting the dirt between them.
Tansui tucks himself away and leans forward to kiss her. Slower, but still intense, pressure and pleasure and the taste of herself on his tongue. She makes a small sound, and grabs his shoulder. She wants to hold him, or be held.
“Shhh,” he says, smirking, when they break apart. “Plenty of people about.”
“They’re you people. Your problem, right?”
He chuckles. “If you put it like that.”
“Wouldn’t mind going somewhere more private, though.”
“Oh? And here I thought you’ve gotten what you came for?”
She punches him lightly. “I came for your lovely company, of course.”
“So, this is but a bonus?”
He smirks, gesturing between them.
“A good one.”
She grins and grabs the hand he extends to her, pulling herself up and adjusting her clothes. No hope of covering the bites and bruises he left, and she doesn't care. Especially when his eyes rake over them, a new stab of want already simmering.
“I can offer you company and a trip if you want. I’m set to go to Sakazuki today.”
“I’ll love to.”
hey will have time, later. She does want his company, simple time with him settles her in a way she cannot explain. She stands on her tiptoes and kisses his cheek. Tansui looks away, and then crushes his arms around her.

playing as ame always breaks my heart in chapter 6 no matter what ending route i do because like. i have to be there for amalia. not only is it the logical thing to do but i just can't upset her (and also her sad face makes me sob she's so cute but she's also SAD who hurt you lia 😭). but then some part of my stupid peanut brain goes and takes the shadow path because romance points with lincoln. and i know there are a lot more chances to get enough points with him so he doesn't reject you in ch 11 but i interpret that bar scene as the "start" of them realizing there's something going on between them. and i sob every time truly one of the hardest struggles i've been through

listen i was going to play this game at some point anyway so i started making gifs last night because i'm a lunatic and wanted to have ALL FRESH ALL NEW GIFS MADE BY ME FOR THIS which meant in some cases scouring the interent for quality sources because i love a lot of old shows but that's a good thing because after i finally let myself go to bed LATE last night, @paintedmasks tagged me so now i'm not just doing it because i wanna be a cool kid, i'm doing it because AN INTERNET FRIEND SAID SO and that's so much better 💖
i did this specifically NOT just QLs so y'all can get an idea of what else i am into since i don't post about many other shows on this blog (tho there are a couple in here) but i will probably do a bonus QL one later when i have the brain space and time to come up with a second list. maybe one that's just asian dramas (including QL)? we'll see.
Rules: Without naming them, post 10 GIFs of your favorite TV shows, then tag 10 people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i feel like basically everybody has already done this (hence me deciding i'd do it even if no one tagged me) so uhhh i'm gonna tag poor @everydayhalfrican who is my only real life friend on here besides @poetry-protest-pornography because she thought it would be fun to be tumblr friends with me (somehow) and my new tumblr bestie @tortibomb and a couple pals i haven't seen post this yet like @vvitcherys and @ciizerutricha and @youdontnohme and that's not ten people but that's okayyyyyy

One thing I will say that I don’t like about Tales of is that for all the talk about how they’re set in unique worlds and how they’re fleshed out by copious amounts of worldbuilding they’re known for, some of the games don’t give you the luxury of exploring the actual world in its entirety.
Zestiria has the excuse that Desolation was largely broken into smaller landmasses and islands post-Berseria but it still takes place on a continent with two interconnecting countries so it kind of puts a damper on the the whole “the Lord of Calamity is about to plunge the world into darkness if he’s killed early/isn’t purified” scenario when it’s set on a smaller scale.
Legendia has a whole mainland that you hear about but don’t even get to explore.
Luminaria is a weird example where it clearly shows there are two/three continents that might be connected a’la Pangaea/Kenorland but we only get an in-depth look at the Jerle Federation and the Gildllan Empire (and an idea of what it was like when it was formerly the Wildlands). OTOH, the northern and southern continents might not even have civilization so they might be excused as being the north and south poles so that leaves the lands outside the Empire and the Federation in an awkward spot from a worldbuilding standpoint (because unless it’s all wilderness out there, and it’d be stupid for the Empire not to capitalize on that, then that means there are settlements beyond the borders, and they have to know there’s a war going on right next door). Then again, they probably wouldn’t play any role in the Anathema War whatsoever in the immediate picture, so that makes Yelsey’s comment about “being in Aedis means you get to see the whole world” rather silly because how can you if the narrative consigns the war to just one big part of the continent and ignores the nations west of the Empire and south of Jerle? Unfortunately at the time of this post we don’t have the good fortune of knowing if future episodes would’ve taken place outside Imperial and Federalist territory so Luminaria is forcibly condemned by capitalism BamCo to have its world take place in just the two countries. Then again, the countries seem relatively large and while we don’t get much of an idea about their maritime history (which there should be because we see boats, and Shayor and Huazar are right near the ocean) we do know technology is advanced enough, at least on the Imperial side, to have train locomotives and a functional railway system (but somehow still no cars?? Even after the technological revolution the Reactors brought on regardless of how Jerle is trying to keep up with their advancements?? In a wartime setting?? Que???) so if we completely ignore everything outside the Empire and the Federation that’s at least half the world right there.

something that just really gets me about ensemble stars is that throughout the series, not only do characters grow and change, but you see that change as it happens and see how it follows through in their daily life as they make genuine efforts to become better versions of themselves
like... as an example there's a character (Izumi) who was super obsessive over another another character (Makoto) to the point that he straight up kidnapped him and held him captive. There was a big moment where Makoto finally made it clear to him that he needed space and Izumi promised to respect that.... but then!!! he still mostly acted the same and there was another moment where Makoto was able to talk to him and be like... dude you promised? but your actions aren't actually changing at all and I'm still really uncomfortable with how you interact with me.... and over time Izumi has gotten a lot better in holding back and actually giving Makoto space and respecting his boundaries.... and it's like. idk not only seeing a character go through an arc to improve upon a character flaw but also seeing that they don't just suddenly and magically change??? that change is difficult and that they struggle with it but ultimately and gradually make progress?????? like dude that is so fucking much
There's another character who has a huge issue with perfectionism and control to the point that he basically destroyed the autonomy of his teammates in a way that one is still struggling to come back from (while the other separated himself and has been able to heal from his interactions in either group) and to see him go from this massive control freak to understanding the harm he caused people and learning to let go???
like if you were to write a blurb about the characters at the beginning and look at them at the end.... rather than falling victim to the common narrative of simplifying all their character traits and exaggerating them to extremes... they were allowed to grow and develop and become better versions of themselves but ones that still made mistakes reminiscint of their initial flaws. They graduated high school and realized that their actions have consequences and they had to take responsibility for that.
And there's been a lot of major events that had lasting impacts on the narrative. Like it's just so nice I think to have a story about characters that isn't afraid to move away from who they were originally introduced as and doesn't feel the need to stick to a simplified version of them that's never allowed to change. They do make lasting decisions about themselves and the world around them that carry through the story. The obsessive characters are less obsessive but they still have a lot of personality and are very clearly the exact same character.
I'll stop now because I'm mostly restating the same thing over and over lol but it's like... idk we get the characters' pasts and their presents.... but there's also a future version of them that doesn't only exist in an epilogue. It's a version of them you actually get to see them working towards and that's just.... not something you often get in my experience

For years I dreamed about the idea of dying my hair pure white as soon as I got white hairs so at least I could have a decent enough excuse to look like a broke latam Storm
Nowadays nearly every single moment something in life happens, I just wish I could rip all my hair in one big strong pull and have a bald buzzcut from then on, at least I'd feel less heat
#ren.txt#vent#yknow. For the last whole month I expected halloween with somewhat positivism#Just expected to spend a chill day at home sharing any cute art I found#Maybe even open up more abt horror/spooky very special interests#Like old horror mexican films like Alucarda or the Spooky Month web series#I mean you all see the Pump fanart pfp#Its funny how when I was at my lowest points I projected a lot of fucked up shit on Skid as a fictional character#But after things in my life got “a little less bad” I started liking and projecting more fondness on Pump#They're not just simple ''artistic mused''. For long and important periods in my current life thinking abt them for better or worse#was some of the few hobbies that could keep me going on#Which is ultimately weird because its ultimately just a newgrounds esque web cartoon#.. idkidk I'm just trying to blow uoff as much as possible so I can go to bed in peace#Those who got to see the deleted post know#But escentially today my father got his phone stolen right before trying to do an important business trip#The fact that he got so nervious and hyperventilated guilty and the intrusive idea#that his cognitive and physical health might be at risk messed me more than the loss of the phone and money he saved there and the trip#He's better now. But..#I'm just feeling extremely hopeless after me and loved ones going through shitty things on a day that is happy for others in the world#Thats more or less what im trying to say#I just want both of my parents to be healthy and live long be well and be happy#I'm sorry. I have a work reunion tomorrow. Im trying to vent out as much as I can without worrying others so I can sleep in peace

A. these look fabulously up my alley B. @notbecauseofvictories tags are phenomenal per usual:
#put that lawyer in a fantasy situation!!!#(this is because everyone in the legal profession deserves not to be in the legal profession.#it's an arms of an angel sort of sitch.#but honestly the world can't rehome that many poor souls who like to pontificate in front of their subordinates#so instead#stick them next to a dragon insisting on enforcing verbal contracts.#have them talk about establishing a new changeling(tm) franchise in multiple states simultaneously.#ask ''have we thought about permits; specifically who will ask the local water spirit and what offerings they will present?''#I'm just saying.)#from the bookshelf… See all
Can you please drop the name of the KJ Parker book involving contracts? A (brief) browse of his works didn’t make it obvious but my silly paralegal heart is intrigued…
So the KJ Parker novellas I'm talking about are primarily Prosper's Demon, Inside Man, and Pulling the Wings off Angels. However, while I did enjoy the others, Pulling the Wings off Angels is my favorite---it should shock no one that I love infernal/heavenly deals, moral arithmetic, and trying to out-lawyer god.
(The other series I'm looking into is published by Parker's alter ego, but still sounds up my alley.)
However, maybe you're asking for the other series that ties legalese to magic---in which case, I would look into the Craft Sequence from Max Gladstone. Admittedly, I haven't read all of it, but Three Parts Dead/Four Roads Cross is one of my favorite duologies, and I could have read about Tara Abernathy, her first job out of law school, and all the headaches (and power, and conniving, and history, truth, fellow feeling) she encounters there, for much more than two books.

One of my personal nitpicks for historical fantasy is a lack of servants, staff, subordinates, and... idk... subjects? Like, their absence is not... a total dealbreaker for me, depending on the situations the characters are in and whether or not I can just assume that other people are there in the background... but so many of the protagonists in historical fantasy stuff are higher-ranking (very often royalty), and/or have busy jobs, and/or have enormous houses that would necessitate having at least part-time staff.
Like, girl, you should have a maid! WHERE is your chaperone?! WHO is driving this carriage?! Where are your footmen? Are you trying to imply that a WEALTHY DUCHESS is taking a CAB?! You know that you probably have tenants, right? Where is your steward?! Where is your lawyer? Your accountant?! (Like, yeah, you're not going to have your lawyer living in your house, but you HAVE one, right???)
Or, man, you're supposed to be a military commander and you don't even have a single secretary?! Where is your SQUIRE?! (In the spirit of historical fiction, I am jumping wildly across time periods with every sentence here.) Man, I know you aren't looking after your own boots. Where are your GUARDS?! Who set up this tent for you?! Who is looking after your horse?! Who is making and carrying the incredibly valuable maps people are recklessly stabbing daggers into?!
SOMEONE has to be scrubbing these floors and delivering the mail and cooking the meals and doing laundry, and they're probably all DIFFERENT people! My dentist has at least three different receptionists and we can't even get ONE for our court wizard here? A sorcerer's apprentice to take notes? Someone like Sherlock Holmes could get away with just having a housekeeper and taking taxis, sure, but your character is supposed to be a KING?! Why is he answering his own front door? He's going to get assassinated. His SERVANTS should have SERVANTS.
Like, yes, I understand that a lot of servants in certain places at certain times were supposed to make their labor invisible, but there have always been servants who still had to interact directly with the masters of the house?! Yeah, there are potentially really messy ethics here, class divisions are bullshit, but I don't think that completely ignoring the reality that humans have ALWAYS been doing work for other humans is better than just including some well-paid and well-treated servants and employees? Because a complete absence of them, especially where logically for the worldbuilding there MUST be servants (and probably exploited servants, or worse, for some particular worldbuilds to work), often makes me think that your main characters just don't care enough to notice the "lower class" people or know their names.
Also, even Frodo Baggins had a gardener and Samwise Gamgee might be the best damn character in the story?! Sam saved the world?! Servants are PEOPLE. Servants are often the funniest and most interesting characters, tbh, with the most to say about a society and its workings (yes, Discworld is a very good book series, highly recommend), and also the joke of some romantic scene being carefully orchestrated by a stage crew of servants frantically diving into bushes to stay out of sight never gets old to me. Teamwork makes the dream work!
I don't want to gatekeep historical fiction, especially not historical fantasy, because the worlds don't necessarily have to conform to our own and may have magic and characters are often in very unique circumstances, but... sometimes I pick up a story and it's like... "Author, please tell me that you know there is a difference between a butler and a valet?!"

Hi- er, this is my first-ever writer's strike, how does one not cross a picket line in this context? I know how not to do it with things like Amazon and IRL strikes, but how does it apply to media/streaming?
Hi, this is a great question, because it allows me to write about the difference between honoring a picket line and a boycott. (This is reminding me of the labor history podcast project that's lain fallow in my drafts folder for some time now...) In its simplest formulation, the difference between a picket line and a boycott is that a picket line targets an employer at the point of production (which involves us as workers), whereas a boycott targets an employer at the point of consumption (which involves us as consumers).
So in the case of the WGA strike, this means that at any company that is being struck by the WGA - I've seen Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Disney, Warner Brothers Discovery, NBC, Paramount, and Sony mentioned, but there may be more (check the WGA website and social media for a comprehensive list) - you do not cross a picket line, whether physical or virtual. This means you do not take a meeting with them, even if its a pre-existing project, you do not take phone calls or texts or emails or Slacks from their executives, you do not pitch them on a spec script you've written, and most of all you do not answer any job application.
Because if this strike is like any strike since the dawn of time, you will see the employers put out ads for short-term contracts that will be very lucrative, generally above union scale - because what they're paying for in addition to your labor is you breaking the picket line and damaging the strike - to anyone willing to scab against their fellow workers. GIven that one of the main issues of the WGA are the proliferation of short-term "mini rooms" whereby employers are hiring teams of writers to work overtime for a very short period, to the point where they can only really do the basics (a series outline, some "broken stories," and some scripts) and then have the showrunner redo everything on their lonesome, while not paying writers long-term pay and benefits, I would imagine we're going to see a lot of scab contracts being offered for these mini rooms.
But for most of us, unless we're actively working as writers in Hollywood, most of that isn't going to be particularly relevant to our day-to-day working lives. If you're not a professional or aspiring Hollywood writer, the important thing to remember honoring the picket line doesn't mean the same thing as a boycott. WGA West hasn't called on anyone to stop going to the movies or watching tv/streaming or to cancel their streaming subscriptions or anything like that. If and when that happens, WGA will go to some lengths to publicize that ask - and you should absolutely honor it if you can - so there will be little in the way of ambiguity as to what's going on.
That being said, one of the things that has happened in the past in other strikes is that well-intentioned people get it into their heads to essentially declare wildcat (i.e, unofficial and unsanctioned) boycotts. This kind of stuff comes from a good place, someone wanting to do more to support the cause and wanting to avoid morally contaminating themselves by associating with a struck company, but it can have negative effects on the workers and their unions. Wildcat boycotts can harm workers by reducing back-end pay and benefits they get from shows if that stuff is tied to the show's performance, and wildcat boycotts can hurt unions by damaging negotiations with employers that may or may not be going on.
The important thing to remember with all of this is that the strike is about them, not us. Part of being a good ally is remembering to let the workers' voices be heard first and prioritizing being a good listener and following their lead, rather than prioritizing our feelings.

i see a lot of people talk about edward being disabled in fma, but it's less often talked about how alphonse is also disabled. i think it's partially because alphonse doesn't experience physical pain like edward so for a majority of the series, he's not having any of those kind of symptoms, but he is still disabled. also because alphonse's experiences are unique. like you don't see ant walking, talking suits of armour in real life (unless they're piloted by a human being physically inside them) and in world, there are about 3 others like alphonse).
alphonse is dependent on edward's survival to function. after fighting scar for the first time, alphonse is literally in pieces. he can't walk or anything until edward is in a position to fix him. similarly his body is dependent on nutrients from edward's body. like there's the point towards the end where edward gets impaled and alphonse collapses. furthermore, these periods where alphonse collapses start to become debilitating towards the end of the series and massively alter his daily living.
also, alphonse constantly talks about how upsetting it is for him to not feel any physical sensations. yeah, he's not feeling physical pain, but he's also not feeling the warmth of a fire, the sun on his face, or the fluffiness of the cats he keeps petting. he talks a lot about not being able to eat or sleep, and how there's a lot of foods he wants to try.
there's another thing that highlighted by edward at one point. alphonse's body doesn't regenerate at all. the parts scar destroys are gone forever; edward stretches out the metal that alphonse has left to repair his body. and obviously human beings don't regrow limbs, but imagine if your skin didn't ever heal over a cut. how long would your body last?
also alphonse gets told several times that his body is great throughout the series, and he literally argues against it every time, because to him it is shit. like he is missing some of his senses just for some supposedly immortal body that isn't even immortal.
even once alphonse gets his own body back, the amount of physical therapy the boy has to go through. his body has essentially been doing nothing and only receiving what nutrients it can get from edward for years. by the end of the series, he's still using a cane as a walking aid. it's unknown whether he requires that cane for the years to come, but for at least a period of time he requires a mobility aid. I don't know enough to say what effect muscle decay from inactivity and severe malnourishment during a major portion of his teenage years would have long term.

God forbid Kairi have to find a new dream that isn’t being with Sora
#bringing out OPs tags because I don't feel like whispering#poly is never a 'solution' to a love triangle#poly only works if all parties want it#Kairi and Riku have both shown jealousy towards the other over their relationship with Sora#not a great foundation if they wanted to be together#which people conveniently forget they don't#KH1 is not indicative of the emotions the characters feel NOW#They've had some time to sort out their confusion about what they want#Riku has never shown anything that could even be CLOSE to romantic interest after KH1 and Kairi has NEVER shown interest in Riku PERIOD.#I get it. It's hard to see because they're BROS™️ and that's just how bros are#Do your self a favor and imagine the series exactly the same but with Riku as a girl. Does the narrative change for you?#Then maybe you have some biases regarding gender and sexuality#Sora has tried imagining himself in a romantic relationship with Kairi... but he hesitates. He wasn't just surprised about the paopu fruit.#She had to recontexualize it for him in order for him to be comfortable sharing one with her. Why do you think that is?#Sorikai does not solve Soriku because Rikai would never happen and Sora doesn't want the relationship with Kairi that she wants#Regardless of sexuality they are on two different wavelengths regarding what they want#“A little charm in hopes that we'll never be apart again.” - Kairi VS “Even though we're apart-we're never alone. Right Kairi?” - Sora#Sora does love Kairi. Just not the same way Kairi does for Sora.#Not to mention that Sora has changed since KH1. Kairi doesn't really know who he is anymore and is basing her feelings on the past.#Sora has darkness in himself that Kairi doesn't see.#And Riku is consistantly shown to be the light to lead him back#... I said I wouldn't whisper and here I am putting everything in the tags#... too late now I guess#Soriku

I had a dream the other night that i can't stop thinking about, where a new LOZ game was released in a similar vein to TOTK, except instead of collecting sages like in that game, there was a series of dungeons/temples that were directly tied to other LOZ games, and at the end, you gained the ability to summon the avatar/ghost of the hero from said game -like the TOTK sages- to help on your quest (and get a fun power up). All of the links would have stilted dialogue with you at first, but as the game goes on they get more friendly and at the end of the game theres a cutscene where they all "move on" and it's super emotional cuz by this point they're all brothers (player-link actually emotes during this cutscene, the only time he does so, for an extra punch in the gut). I don't remember all of the details, but what I do remember was:
A Palace of the Four Sword dungeon where you gained the Link(s) from FSA. FSA Link was the simplest in terms of abilities, the avatar would split into 4 and distract enemies/fight alongside you. Pretty sure this was the first one/tutorial temple. Later on this link gives you a sidequest after which you gain the Four Sword as a weapon (its the second strongest in the game behind the master sword).
A Tower of Winds dungeon where you got Minish Cap Link to tag along. He allows you to shrink for short periods of time to get through locked doors/escape danger. Don't remember much about this dungeon except that there's a timer to get through it before yiu have to start over.
Forest temple/great deku tree/kokiri forest type place where Oot/MM link joins up with you. He allows you to rewind time for a little bit (basically the recall ability but on everything including you). Later on He gives a sidequest that results in obtaining the Fierce Deity Mask (best armor in the game).
Arbiter grounds dungeon where you get TP link. He's basically a glorified horse; you ride him around.
Tower of the Gods dungeon where you get WW/PH Link to tag along. He's like Revali's Gale and Tulin's gust in one.
The dungeon to get the Master Sword is like the Skyview Temple, and to be allowed to draw it you must beat SS Link as the final boss of the temple, After which he joins you on your quest. He allows you to do skyward strikes with any one handed weapon.
A secret, optional dungeon that you only unlock by falling asleep on this random island. It's kohohlit. The only avatars/ghosts that you can access here are OoT/MM Link and WW/PH Link (because PH was a dream and MM was an alternate reality). By the end, You get Alttp/albw/LA link who can put enemies to sleep for a time. Later he gives you a sidequest to get ravio's bracelet, which opens up a few easter eggs and secret loot.
Other links/games were included as easter eggs but they don't stick around. BOTW/TOTK Link is a recurring ghostly NPC who you can find in all the weirdest places, offering seemingly nonsensical trades that change every time you see him (10 frogs for 13 bombs, a ruby for an apple pie, 35 monster parts for a single ancient arrow, etc). There's a few places around hyrule where you see two-bit LOZ1/LOZ2 Link just vibing. ST Link takes the place of Purah or Robbie as the eccentric scientist/engineer who will upgrade your stuff if you bring him materials, and he can also upgrade your ghost-Link-friend's abilities as well since he's -y'know- Hero of Spirits.
There's murals in the castle from Cadence of Hyrule, and there's "ancient history books" about HW and AoC. Throughout Hyrule you'll meet various NPCs claiming to be from different countries here to see "the birthplace of the hero of Holodrum/Labrynnia/Calatia."
Various Zelda's would show up too. You get a sidequest where you have to sneak aboard a ghost pirate ship. It's Tetra's. There's a mysterious sheikah warrior who repeatedly accosts you on your travels to loredump and test if you're ready to fight the big bad. She only ever brings you down to half heart, at which point she makes a disappponted comment and leaves. you aren't able to beat her until near endgame, at which point she reveals herself as sheik, has a brief conversation with Oot/MM Link, gives you some cryptic foreshadowing advice and a few fairies, and dips. BOTW/TOTK zelda is similar to her link since she can be found all over the place, but she deals exclusively in ancient materials and dragon parts. TP Zelda gives lore/exposition when you finally make it to the castle, right before the big bad fight.
Big bad is an amalgamation of all ganons/ganondorfs/big bads across the timelines. He telegraphs attacks via shifting forms to look like various bad guys (forms tentacles like bellum and Majora (at the same time) before slam attack, gets blue pig face before charge attack, long purple vaati hair and bat wings before AOE gust attack, scales up his arm and X on face before big AOE lightning blast, and big fuck-all sword and gerudo features before slashing. 2nd phase has it split into like 5 separate beings to fight you and all your friends at once (each one has different features: one is similar to bellum/majora, one is more beast-ganon, one more demise, one Vaati-esque one, and one Ganondorf-like one). The music is harsh and disjointed, cobbled together from many other games, and the noises that the beast makes are screeching and painful.
By the end of the game, there's a big deal made by SS link that you are the final Link in the cycle, that it's over, that you finished what he couldn't. There's a sense of hope, but also of sorrow, since all your new friends are leaving now. They're ghosts, they're dead, they've done their duty and it's time for them to rest. Before they go, though, each one gives you one last gift (the ability they've been helping you with this whole time) and one last sidequest (one for each of them) for you to accomplish: find their treasures, keep them safe.
Post game is you running around without the ghosts (FSA Link's ability duplicates you now, giving you 3 buddies to fight with, but they can't give dialogue and they last like 30 seconds so it's not the samel), doing mini-dungeons and fetch-quests in order to obtain major key items (all old and unusable anymore) from the Links' adventures, (the Beetle, goddess harp, spinner, shards of the fused shadow, deku/goron/Zora masks, gnat hat, various kinstones, pictobox, deku leaf, LA instruments, Ocarina of Time, wind waker, etc) and some from games not mentioned previously or not from your gaggle of links, (Harp of ages, rod of seasons, silver arrows, a doppel, ST panpipes, a revival doll, Cadence of Hyrule Lute, HW blue Scarf, old and broken Terrako, champion's tunic, BOTW champion's picture, trirod, etc). In post-game, there are new NPCs to replace the links/zeldas that used to fill those niches, but it's not the same. They're gone. It's a bittersweet feeling.
After you finish all the post game and get all the treasures (basically 100%ing the game), you get an achievement called "archive of the ages" and a special cutscene where Player Link sets the Master sword down on the side of his bed, looks out the window of his house at the brilliantly setting sun, smiles, and falls asleep. You may no longer play on that save file anymore. The adventure is over.
Basically I dreamt up a game that was a love letter to the entire series, and I'm sad it was just a dream. Logically i know this will never happen because that would mean tying up LOZ and it's too much of a cash cow for Nintendo to ever stop making, but it was a wonderful dream to have for a little while.

Got a few asks about what Pokemon I think Jessie and James would have if 1. they didn't just have the gacha machine and only caught Galarian Pokemon and 2. if they had the chance to go to Paldea
GALAR
Jessie: Sandaconda, Snom➡️Frosmoth, Impidimp➡️Morgrem
Sandaconda is a snake Pokemon. Jessie should be allowed to have all snake Pokemon. Period. Love the idea of her finding it and being unsure of what the hell she's looking at because it's all coiled up but upon it briefly uncoiling she falls in love.
Jessie should have had an Ice Type Pokemon at some point for real. Snow and ice play two big roles in her backstory (eating snow/growing up in a snowy location and her mother disappearing in an avalanche). Her having a lil Snom that's not particularly useful but that she grows to love would be so CUTE. They eat snow together!! Then I love the idea of her going from not thinking much of it to getting more and more attached to it over the series and then having it evolve to Frosmoth after some time (it'd remind her of her old friend Dustox)
Okay this one's gonna take a little explaining but I think it'd be so funny if at the same time, Jessie catches a Hatenna and James catches an Impidimp (mostly because Jessie wants the cute one). BUT Impidimp starts gravitating to Jessie because of her negative energy, which it feeds off of. She's much easier to prank and irritate than James, who's too much of a sweetheart and a little less susceptible to pranks. Jessie never finds out that Impidimp is the one pranking her but notices that it's taken a liking to her for some reason so she and James end up trading their Hattena and Impidimp with each other. It later evolves into Moregrem
James: Polteageist, Toxel, Hatenna➡️Hattrem
I think James is a tea lover, and enjoyed fancy teas when he was a child. Since he's a collector of bottlecaps and Pokeballs, I could see him also collecting teapots/teacups. Maybe they're in a haunted mansion one day and he grabs a teapot thinking it's a rare find but it's actually a Pokemon to his surprise. Also I think he deserves to have an Antique form, so it IS a rare find.
James having another baby Pokemon to fawn over like Mime Jr. would be so cute. It's an egg that the trio find but Jessie's too lazy to take care of it and Meowth's traumatized after the Togepi situation, not wanting to go through all that again. Toxel is born and it's James' everything. It's a bit bratty and constantly vying for his attention, usually by shocking and poisoning him but luckily James has built up an immunity to both those things thanks to Pikachu and Mareanie.
As stated before, James catches Impidimp initially but trades it for Jessie's Hatenna. Hatenna was NOT okay with the amount of emotions Jessie brought to the table and couldn't stand to be around her, often going to James who's much calmer between the two of them. Annoyed by it not liking her and finding that Impidimp DID like her, Jessie demands suggests a trade, which James is okay with as he's been growing attached to Hatenna. After it evolves into Hattrem, it starts (affectionately) smacking him whenever he shows too much emotion, carrying on the "James' Pokemon beat the shit out of him" legacy.
PALDEA
Jessie: Flittle➡️Espathra
Flittle just seems fitting for Jessie. She's always wanting a cute little baby Pokemon but funnily enough, never really gets one in the show. She absolutely pampers it and dresses it up. It eventually evolves into Espathra. Still being Jessie's mini-me, it often mimics her, particularly when Jessie's angry
James: Arboliva
Arboliva just feels like a Pokemon James would have LMAO. I think it'd be really sweet if after a particularly bad blast off, Arboliva finds Team Rocket and helps nurse them back to health even though they're mostly okay. They're grateful to it, James captures it and it continues to try mother all of them (in a less aggressive way than Bewear).
Shared: Scovillain
Listen. It'd be SO funny if Jessie and James shared a Pokemon. They see two Pokemon in the tall grass one day. A Pokemon with a red head and a Pokemon with a green head. Only having one Pokemon each at this time, they decide it's a good idea to catch another each. They throw their Pokeballs at the same time and the catch is successful! Just one problem. They find out the two Pokemon they tried to catch was actually just one Pokemon and they don't know which of the Pokeballs they threw was the one that actually caught it. They argue about it for quite a while but then agree to share custody. Leads to some funny scenarios where they're both trying to direct it in a battle. The red head prefers Jessie and the green head prefers James.
