Trump is dead this and Trump is dead that. The obvious answer for Trump's sudden disappearance is that Trump has gone into his very first heat and the Whitehouse is trying to cover up that he's an Omega

1980's inspired Teen Titans
Here's some fun Teen Titans redesigns I did for the heck of it. I'm still working on Blackfire, and I am hoping to get around to some of the others. I know the roster of characters I have right now doesn't make any particular type of sense. But I just started drawing the characters that I like to draw and let it grow from there :)

alicia related spoilers under the cut
so I was thinking about this during my last post, but a lot of people talk about how painted alicia is a manifestation of how aline to some degree blames alicia for the fire, but I think it's more complicated than that.
painted verso does not have scars because the real him doesn't have them (as scars would mean verso lived to heal from the fire), so she paints the last known version of him.
alicia though? every time she leaves the canvas she is confronted by the reality that is post fire alicia. to paint alicia without the scars would mean her illusion is shattered every time she leaves the canvas, so she has to paint alicia with the scars. it results in her painting a half truth where the fire happened, but verso survived.
however, to paint alicia, she has to face her daughter's suffering. so I think midway through painting alicia, she was forced to confront the hell her daughter now lives (painted alicia is detailed so aline would have had to consider every way the fire has impacted alicia and oh the pain and suffering alicia must have gone through) and she says it herself in her log that it's alicia she can't look at. so she can't bring herself to finish the painting. she can't leave alicia out of the canvas but she can't bear to continue painting her. so painted alicia ends up stuck.
and aline can't bear to explain this to her daughter. she can't even withstand a reality where verso is gone.
but it means little alicia is stuck in a body that does not match the rest of the world, with a mother who won't look at her and makes her wear a mask to hide the worst of the scars. and alicia already blames herself for the fire, her mother's actions only fanning the flame.
#aline dessendre#alicia dessendre#clair obscur spoilers#expedition 33 spoilers#clair obscur#clair obscur: expedition 33#co33 spoilers#co33#like i do also think a small subconscious part of aline wants someone to blame for her son's death and alicia is there to take the brunt#but i also think aline didn't intend for alicia to be painted that way#im also a little drunk so i could be misremembering alicia and aline lore
