You really would think the Supreme Leader would learn his lesson:
Every time Iran pokes Pakistan with a broken stick Pakistan hits them in the balls with a tire iron. This is just Shah Ismail syndrome in action.

I kept wondering what it was about this scene that was so incredibly endearing to me. On the surface, it seems like it's 'just' another (lovely) moment where we get to see Colin openly obsessed with Penelope. But it was only after someone had pointed out that this is the first time they're seeing each other after their first time that it clicked: they flipped the virginity trope, further illustrating that she fell first but he, indeed, fell so much fucking harder.
Usually, it's the character that has lost their virginity that's a complete and utter mess after their first time. The inexperienced one is depicted as the person who immediately confuses sex for love, obsessively waiting by the phone (post, I suppose, in this case?) and painstakingly breaking down each frame of the event with friends, wondering What It All Means (yes, I know, they're engaged at this point so she doesn't have to do that, but you get my point).
Instead, Penelope is entirely secure (if distracted, thanks a lot Eloise), while Colin "Brothel Man" Bridgerton is a fucking basketcase (affectionate). I mean, he looks like he wants to wear her skin and show her off in equal measure from the very moment she enters the room. Realizing, perhaps, that the former is not an option in the midst of polite society, he dedicates the night to keeping her well within reach like a man possessed - reduced entirely to A Thing That Loves Penelope (to slightly misquote Sackville-West).
He's staring her down so hard, paying so much attention to every minute movement that, when she doesn't seem to return his (really rather reasonable) visible obsession (again, thanks so much Eloise), the fear begins to form. He's the one waiting by the proverbial phone, spiraling, suddenly nervous that he's been a completely green imbecile who's somehow managed to confuse sex for love and --
Oh, but, wait a minute. Penelope... hasn't actually said she loves him back, has she? Well, fuck, fuck, fuckity-fuck. He might just have to go die now.
Anyway, TL;DL: Penelope totally popped Colin's 'making love' cherry and he's just a girl that's completely lost his mind and good god do I love a thoroughly depicted power dynamic shift.

#1, 9, and 13 for CrossStitch?
From this lovely list
1. Who most initiates PDA?
Huh... This one is kind of back and forth, it depends. They're both kinda touchy, depending on the situation. Overall though, I'd go with Spirit. Like...just gentle touches on the shoulder, the arm, the back, kind of grounding... Letting Stein know he's there. Holding hands. Snuggling, cuddling. Spirit is the one making the offer. And Stein is usually a willing recipient. However, Spirit will get rather over the top when he's tipsy, and Stein doesn't care for that as much. Stein though... If he senses Spirit is in need of some comfort, he'll be ready to offer an arm around his waist, also sort of a grounding thing. I see them both offering that to one another, often, but... Heheh. Holding hands~~~ That's a nice one that both enjoy, and neither is shy about initiating that one.
9. If they got engaged... who proposed?
Easily Spirit. I think Stein would reply with "no" just to tease him, too. But I also think he'd be kinda whatever about it. As in, whatever Spirit wants. Meanwhile poor Spirit would be an absolute basketcase trying to pick a day, time, method... Or else he'd just blurt it out one day. And a 'no' or 'whatever' answer would give him just as much anxiety, lol. He'd end up a blubbering mess thinking Stein doesn't actually care. After having his fun I'm sure Stein would make up for it with some kind gesture....veiled in more humor or threat. These two. My gosh. I adore them. The reunion scene is still a hilarious favorite!
13. A little personal... but... Hot and Steamy or Soft and Tender?
Ahh... Soft and tender. If/when they reach that point in their lives/relationship, the depth to which they...know one another... In the depth of their souls... They're past any...wildness of youth. I'm interpreting that as...something of an unknown. Uncertainty and desperation, exploration and seeking something in the wildness... Seeking that knowing. But as adults, no, they're past that. They know each other, more deeply than anyone can. They don't...need the ferocity. If they end up there, it's a mutual climb. But intentional intimacy...soft and tender is where they begin and often remain. They're more after a deeper meeting of their souls overall, anyway, and the more focused intensity in the tenderness is a path they enjoy toward that end.
Thanks for the ask!!

How different book!Aegon is to his show version ? I keep seeing this take that they're so different but i couldn't see it in your fics i feel like they are the same even though i didn't read the book, maybe you write mix of both?
Hi anon, good question! Here's the thing. F&B has no internality for any of the characters whatsoever. That means we don't know what they're thinking, what they're feeling, or even their true motivations, not from their own POV. We know their actions and some of their words, but even these are secondhand. The only of our F&B sources who would have had much to do with Aegon personally would have been Eustace and Orwyle, and they have their own agendas. When we get told that Aegon "raged and drank" after B&C, for example, we don't know what was going through his head, we just know he was upset. F&B sadly doesn't give us any excerpts from letters or journals to tell us where his mind is at, so there really is no one fixed "book!Aegon" as far as his personality goes. Just as with any historical figure (and all the characters in F&B really) we don't really get a full picture of the person as an individual, so we have to create our own, just like Ryan Condal did, just like Tom Glynn-Carney did. That's just the nature of Fire and Blood.
There are a few concrete differences between show!Aegon and book!Aegon. He's slightly younger in the show, with a smaller age difference between himself and his nephews and a larger age difference between himself and Rhaenyra. In the book he was not friends with Jace or Luke because he was a good 7 years older than Jace, so he's more distant from his nephews. He was a hedonist in the book, a glutton and an alcoholic who got handsy with the maids and had affairs, but he was not textually a rapist. The child fighting pit story also came from Mushroom, who is not a reliable source. He supposedly had a "sullen look about the eyes and a pouty mouth," and was "quick to anger and slow to forgive" (almost the exact same words which were used about Rhaenyra, interestingly enough); he was handsome, was said to resemble Viserys in his youth, but he did not "look like a warrior." I think physically, Tom Gynn-Carney quite fits the description, although book!Aegon was maybe a bit chubbier? But even though he might not have been a swordsman, he was an excellent dragonrider and has a strong bond with Sunfyre. Although he was considered lazy before the war, he did care for his family; he did not try to run away, but he did at first resist being crowned until Criston Cole convinced him that his family would be killed if Rhaenyra and her bastard sons were allowed to take the throne. That's Viserys arranged his marriage to Helaena in the book, not Alicent, and like in the show, they were both very young when it happened, but we don't really know how they felt about it. We do know that his relationship with Helaena was probably not terrible because they did share a room before Blood and Cheese happened, and the aftermath of Blood & Cheese makes it pretty clear he feels something for them. Certainly he pays attention to their wellbeing because it's stated that after Blood and Cheese he had to take Maelor from Helaena and give him to Alicent to raise (Helaena wasn't taking proper care of him due to her depression). This is specifically attributed to Aegon, not Alicent or Otto or anyone else. In the show we haven't seen his relationship with his children yet, but he does look very upset in scenes following B&C.
The thing is, there's a LOT we don't know about book!Aegon, especially pre-war Aegon, and a lot of what people consider "changes" are headcanons, especially when it comes to Aegon's personality. There is definitely a contingent of fans that sees Aegon as some sort of gigachad dudebro and takes offense at the show's portrayal of him as a bit of a wet cat basketcase who wants love and validations. I too have seen the posts about how we were "robbed" of book!Aegon, but this is not a show!Rhaenyra vs. book!Rhaenyra type thing in which they gave her a whole new backstory, we just don't really know much at all about pre-war Aegon. Maybe he was an ultra confident sugar daddy type, instead of a bit of a fuckup. People are certainly free to headcanon however they like. But there's so-far nothing in the book that seriously contradicts the personality the writers and TGC have given show!Aegon either, because book!Aegon steps up and acts with courage and resilience only after experiencing horrific, life-changing events. We won't know how that affects show!Aegon's personality until season 2 and beyond air.
As for show!Aegon, I think a lot of how he's been characterized on the show does make sense based on what we know of him from the book. How would it feel to be the only eldest trueborn son of the king in history to be passed over as heir? Not good! In fact, it would probably result in some pretty low self worth. Mommy issues? Daddy issues? He doesn't feel good enough for either of them, and actively loathes Viserys. Self destructive behaviors? Checks out, that's straight from the book anyway. The book tells us he's lazy and we indeed see him lying around, sleeping in, not attending training. Didn't want to marry his sister? Makes sense given Alicent probably has a stronger influence on him than Viserys does. But again, so far we've only gotten 2 episodes of adult show!Aegon and a bit from the previews. For better or for worse, his show character has a lot of room to develop still. I am very interested to see what the show does with him post Rook's Rest because that's when Aegon really starts to become interesting in the book.
But is there some stuff that's inconsistent? Sure, and some of it is quite important. For instance, although it might have been a pure fight or flight response, Aegon running away in episode 9 gave many viewers the impression he didn't care about his family, including his kids. I don't know if the showrunners really intended this or not, but they're the reason he agrees to be crowned in the book so that's clearly a change. The child fighting pits were also a bizarre choice for one of the few major players in the Dance for canonically does not kill any children, and even spares Aegon III. Making Aegon a rapist gave many viewers the impression that all of his sexual encounters must be nonconsensual and so we get takes about how Aegon sexually assaults Helaena, when that's just not at all suggested by what's in the book. I think you can justify the choices the the showrunners made here, but they do lead to some contradictions between show and book.
The thing with writing book canon is that you can do for yourself what the showrunners of HotD did, and fill in the gaps in canon with what makes sense to you based on book events. So I'd say that rather than being a mix of book and show canon, the way I write Aegon ( together with @aifsaath in OFCIR) is a mix of book!Aegon along with what can reasonably derived from book's content. Some of that certainly matches up with how the show has so far decided to portray Aegon, but there are some differences too!

not to be a downer or doomssaver, but i'm pretty convinced sydney is going to have a health scare and here's why...
the opening and closing shots of s2 are very distinct and purposeful.
marcus sitting bedside with his ill/dying mother vs. a close shot of sydney (who also lost her mother) looking at her retreating father after arguably the biggest night in her professional career thus far.
(and just after throwing up behind a dumpster)
those are SO different than the opening and closing shots of the first season.
both of these shots have little to do with the bear and almost NOTHING to do with carmy/the berzatto's, the main protagonist and central focus of the show.
i think season 3 is ushering in a deft exploration and narrative voice shift toward sydney and her character in general.
part of that will be some type of health something, doesn't have to be lupus, but it's something.
because narratively it seamlessly sets up a ton of story to tell and puts a lot of already burgeoning tension between carmy and sydney on full blast.
like turns the burner under their dynamic all the way up. high heat.
carmy envisioning her during that panic attack actually acts as an indelible storytelling device moving forward.
him grappling with what that means, combined with the complete and total fuckup of him missing the entire night by his own negligence and error.
especially if any inciting incidents happen regarding her health in the midst of/after any growing issues/fights they're bound to have as a result of the latter half of s2.
it layers the professional and the personal where lines are so clearly already blurred and tenuous.
but honestly the biggest tell/foreshadow that convinced me of this is her damn medicine cabinet.
set design is SO precise and intentional for a show like this.
(think of all those notes around the office for carmy)
there's no way she would have 3-4 entire shelfs filled to the BRIM with prescription bottles if she hasn't had some sort of health issue(s) that could be reoccurring, chronic or autoimmune.
i also mentioned before that claire working at the hospital isn't an accident. neither is the fact that natalie is pregnant and will be going to the hospital/doctor for obvious various reasons in the next 3 months of the show.
i could see sydney trying to keep whatever is happening with her from everyone and it slips out via claire or nat.
anyway, carmy is already a fucking basketcase when it comes to sydney in general or when he can tell she's upset with him.
carmy when sydney is ill/not feeling well is gonna be a whole other creature entirely.

SIMS 4 GROWING TOGETHER UNLOCKS FOR ALL! (except the powerwalk thing I couldn't get that one)
They're here! Download them now:
Note: The Powerwalk companion issss--I haven't figured it out yet. It's a hidden CAS object, meaning I can't access it through normal CAS means--when attempting to convert it, it says it's missing specific, required disbursement files that I can't gain access too. I don't have the technical know-how to solve that one, BUT I will try. Literally, it's just a recolor of the back carrier for infants anyway. Actually, they're kinda ugly.
Also, it's now after midnight on the 4th of June--I'm sorry, Hubby and I are watching the Last of Us and we saw episode three and I'm just...I'm an emotional basketcase right now. 😭

Hello there :) may I please have a matchup for RID15 and/or Rescue Bots? (RID15 preferred if only 1 is allowed, but whatever you think matches best)
At first, I come across as aloof, calm, and socially awkward. I'm very to-the-point, and can sense BS very quickly. I never get involved in drama, but I might make a witty joke while I sit in my little corner and watch with popcorn. I've been told I'm very observant and I've been called an old soul. But when you get to know me, I can be a bit of a gremlin😆.
I have a huge imagination and I'm always daydreaming. I'm creative and I love storytelling. Especially theatre and writing. Once I start writing, I find it hard to stop (as you can see here😂). I'm a film geek who likes psychological horror movies (Hitchcock films, The Shining, Carrie, etc). But I also love Scooby Doo. Another thing I like is archery and being outdoors.
I may be a complete basketcase and 24/7 stressed, but I try to look on the bright side of things when I can, and I consider my life to be an adventure. I know my problems will be a fun story to tell at parties someday.
One thing I despise is being talked down to. I also hate when conversations get needlessly intellectual and philosophical. Like, I don't wanna use my one braincell!
Fun facts: I was born with weirdly shaped pinky fingers. They're both bent sideways. Apparently it's called "clinodactyli" or something, so that's cool. I have sensory issues. My favorite movie is Gremlins. One time, I accidentally printed, like, 87 pictures of a cat because I was a dumb 7-year-old, and the entire computer room was flooding with cats. My mom was so mad😂. Also, I'm terrible at videogames. I tried to play World of Warcraft once, and spent over an hour trying to get out of the canyon I accidentally jumped into.
I'm a Genini-Cancer cusp, (technically Gemini) Libra rising. INFP (although, the second time I took a test I got INFJ so idk lol).
Hello! I’ll be matching you with RID15 Fixit and RB Chase.
Fixit
He loves to hear about your daydreams! He just adores hearing your stories and works in progress, the premise, the plot, whatever it is, he’ll listen.
He also has sensory issues, so he’ll avoid his own sensory issues and the textures you don’t like as well.
Fixit will try to watch horror movies with you, but he’ll end up hugging onto you and hiding his face from the screen. He will get spooked while watching Scooby Doo, as well.
He’ll try to get some stress off of your shoulders, he wants to help you out with things (organization/sorting, moving manageable things, ect.).
Chase
He has the same amount of tech knowledge that you do, and he’s done something similar with the Burns’ printer.
Chase will also watch arguments from a corner with you, he can’t eat popcorn but he thinks it’s funny.
He’ll attempt to help you in your video games but somehow messes up harder.
He likes to look at your writing and works in progress, even if he doesn’t have permission to. He just loves your writing so much…

idk if u ever wondered this but i wonder why whenever people talk abt au characters there’s like an exclamation point in the middle. like example yandere!sans like what was up with that
Reddit has the answer :D from this Reddit post (copy and pasted here for your convenience)
“"! = The Exclamation Mark or 'Bang' Symbol -- refers to a short form for expressing the presence of a particular trait or defining quality of a character in a story. One which is usually not part of the original canon characterization, or is at least an extreme interpretation of the canon characterization. Most often written in the format of trait first and character's name last, with the symbol in between. (For example: "Smart!Jack" in Stargate: SG-1, indicating that the character of Jack O'Neill is secretly smarter than he pretends to be.) The compact format of [trait]![character's name] manages to quickly and clearly describe to the reader an accurate depiction of the author's choice in characterization before they even read the story."

EDIT: found some more
"Fan Fic communities will often have tags specific to their fandoms that they use to describe tropes that occur with some regularity (Slytherin!Harry, Future!Hiro, or Vamp!Willow, for example). The title of a given Fan Fic 'verse, or an abbreviation thereof, can also be used to indicate the version of a character from that setting, particularly when there have been major changes to them: UF!Utena, SME!Jadeite. Because this kind of tagging is ad hoc and in no way formalized, it's common to see unusual and/or idiosyncratic tags that indicate some truly wild variants, such as Cyborg!Xander or Amberite!Xena. The practice is starting to seep out from fanfiction, though, and can also be used when talking about similar things in the source material, such as, for example, Future!Hiro, Vamp!Willow, or Brainwashed!Undead!Starscream (Energon!Starscream for short). It's also used in a more tongue-in-cheek manner to categorize examples of the Mary Sue in a quick, concise form. It can also be used to identify a specific version of a character or work when it had been done by different people and/or in different media since those can vary wildly from the source material. Sometimes this uses the name of the specific author or simply the form of the work (Manga!Pride, Anime!Greed, Leroux!Erik, or Movie!Phantom) These tags are also occasionally used when dealing with customizable characters in computer games. In addition, tags like this are used in spreadsheet programs to denote what sheet the cell in question is on if it's not on the same sheet as the cell you're typing in. Bang paths were used in early e-mail to specify a UUCP route to a given user, and they're still part of the return path in Usenet"
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CharacterizationTags
EDIT AGAIN: Found even more. There seem to be conflicted views on the origins of this, but this one at least explicitly addresses them:
"Origins The adj!noun format is purported to have started in X-Files fandom. Good examples for this are Wombat's Spotter's Guide to the Common Krycek and the accompanying Spotter's Guide to the Common Mulder where several Krycek sub-species such as Bad to the Bone!Krycek, Bad but Lovin'!Krycek, Hot'n'dirty!Krycek or Misunderstood!Krycek and Mulder sub-subspecies such as Angst!Mulder, Basketcase!Mulder, HappySlut!Mulder, Sensitive!Mulder and WellAdjusted!Mulder are described. The first usage was Action!Mulder, referring to canon scenes where Mulder suddenly went all actiony (instead of talky), followed by Saint!Scully. Eventually they lost the initial capitals and the canon connections; by the time it hit other fandoms, it was being used to describe fannish things.[1] Some believe that the use of the exclamation mark came originally from coding, particularly javascript, where it has the meaning of "not". Thus, Saint!Scully would essentially mean, a characterization (in fanworks) of Scully as a saint which diverges from who Scully really is in the show. This possible origin remains obscure, though, and this belief about the bang appears nowadays quite rare."
http://fanlore.org/wiki/!
FINAL EDIT:
Thanks this was actually an interesting little side-trip into something I didn't previously know about.”
Also this:
“Thank you so much! This was exactly what I was after. :)
EDIT: I just found this additional explanation from a Tumblr post, makes sense!
It’s originally from C/C++ code. If you have a boolean variable that’s true or false and you put a ! in front of it, it just flips the value. If the variable is X and X is true, then !X is false. So it’s basically saying the character is the variable, ! activates a different version of the variable, and the identifier at the front tells you what version of the variable it is.”
I had wondered if it had something to do with programming, I’ve worked with C++ and javascript in the past 🤔 thanks for sending me down that rabbit hole anon!!

actually one of my favourite takes on the Dark Urge that I played so far is 'durge who still can't bring himself NOT to delight in death in suffering and durge who can NOT bring himself to take care about the greater good or the sufferings of random people ...but does feel genuine affection for the gang and selected people they meet, especially weirdos and outsiders". Durge who is still a murderous basketcase but now, surrounded by people who actually like them the way they are and not because they're the child of their god, realising that they would miss these people. Sure, wiping the world clean is kind of sublime and transcendent and perfect...but all of these visions always end up with Durge finally dying as well so it doesn't matter. As long as they are alive, they want to be with their new friends and they need the world to continue to exist for them to actually be able to experience this.

OMG I HAVE TO THANK YOU! A few weeks ago i saw a .gif set of the movie Frankenhooker(1990 <-adding the year so anyone who what to see it after this ask know what kind of humor they're getting into) on you blog. Curious, i acquired it and my friendgroup watched it on Halloween night. It was amazing in The Most GAWD AWFUL Way! Just like every movie that piques my interest on you blog it hit my horror-taste nail on the head!
You distracted me from homesickness of my first Halloween away from family AND the depressing fact that kids barely trick or treat anymore so thank to you!
Keep up the good work! d( ̄(エ) ̄d) Because i can't be the only one whose entire media diet relies on our knowledge of obscure horror movies!
haha I'm glad. I have a feeling you'd enjoy basketcase too !

re: an opposing player try to goad jo into a drop on the ice - jo’s getting fussed over and helped off the ice by cale and mikko while nate’s going full scorched earth on the other team by adding to his fight card and earning himself a nice 5 minute major
later, nate bundles jo in his clothes and blankets and keeps him in his lap. jo’s cozy and content, it’s nate that’s the basketcase over his jo getting even temporarily taken advantage of on the ice
(and look…,,.. mikko and cale Together means something. .to me)
of course EVERYONE rushes to take care of princess, they're all very protective
but tbh yeah i think once jo is feeling better it's him who does a lot of the taking-care-heavy-lifting that night because nate won't admit it but he's a little shaken up :/
(mikko cale shippers RISE i need someone to write them!)

Hello there :) May I have a matchup for Ninjago and Genshin?
Pronouns: She/her
Sexuality: I have no idea, but I'm content with that. I like the mystery of not knowing, and the freedom from labels😝. Potentially ace, if that helps.
Horoscope: I'm a Genini-Cancer cusp, (technically Gemini) Libra rising.
Myers Briggs: INFP (although, the second time I took a test I got INFJ so idk lol).
Personality, likes, dislikes:
I'm also a complete basketcase and 24/7 stressed. I try to look on the bright side of things when I can, though, and consider my life to be an adventure. I know my problems will be a fun story to tell at parties someday.
One thing I despise is people being condescending, and talking down to me. I'm neurodiverse and I look younger than I am, so I've had my fair share of that. I also hate when conversations get needlessly intellectual and philosophical. Like, if I ask: "What's 1+1?" And someone tells me: "Well...what IS the number one, really? Numbers are just symbols on paper. "
I'm like: "...right, but what's 1+1?" Me wanna know HOW math. Me not wanna know WHY math. Oh, and speaking of math, I hate math.
Fun facts:
I was born with weirdly shaped pinky fingers. They're both bent sideways. Apparently it's called "clinodactyli" or something, so that's cool. Also I have OCD, sensory issues and trichotillomania.
Hi! Thank you for your request! I hope you like your matchups!
In Ninjago, I match you with...
Tumblr media
Nya loves sitting on the sidelines of drama with you and just watching things go down. She’s been tangled in her fair share of drama far too many times. Now, she’s more than happy to stay out of the conflict.
Would love taking walks through nature with you. She likes the peace that comes with being outdoors.
Would absolutely be a fan of Gremlins. Nya would love to watch it with you as many times as you’d like.
Admires your dedication to trying to see the good in things and treating life as an adventure. She knows how hard that can be sometimes.
Scooby Doo enthusiast. I can see her as a Daphne and Velma fan. She’s particularly fond of the Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated variation.
Nya will never talk down on you. She’s very good at treating everyone with respect, as long as they deserve it. And in her eyes, unless you’re actively attacking the city or her friends, everyone deserves respect.
In Genshin Impact, I match you with...
Tumblr media
Xingqiu loves how your personality can flip so quickly from quiet and socially awkward to a complete gremlin. He loves the energy you bring.
Will try to drag you into pranking Chongyun. He won’t push you though, he respects that pranks are not everyone’s thing.
Loves that you like storytelling. You two would have great dates where you take turns telling stories. Xingqiu writes them all down later so he can remember every little detail you tell him.
Would absolutely take you to the theatre. He’s a pretty dramatic person himself so if you ever want to act out your favourite parts of plays or musicals, he’s ready and willing.
I see Xingqiu as a fan of horror, especially psychological horror. He can’t really explain why he likes it, he just does so expect to be watching and reading a lot of horror stuff with him.
Xingqiu does tend to cause drama sometimes, just for entertainment. He loves hearing your commentary on what’s unfolding and will make his own witty comments as well.

Hello there :) may I please have a DC matchup?
I also hate watching people argue, because, often, I'll understand both sides, and have an existential crisis over who's right, and who's wrong. Like, if I pick a side, I could pick the WRONG side! What kind of witchcraft is this😱
Fun facts: I was born with weirdly shaped pinky fingers. They're both bent sideways. Apparently it's called "clinodactyli" or something, so that's cool. Also I have OCD, sensory issues and trichotillomania.
(Firstly i just wanted to tell you that 16p test is totally bs🙄. I took it and it kept saying that i was ENFP but my personality doesn’t match with that. So my advice is, just read each description of the personalities and pick the one who suits you the best. I found ESTP the closest to me!)
ANYWAYS
I match you with…
BARBRA GORDON!(Also known as Batgirl or Oracle)
Tumblr media
She is a complex character with unique sets of traits. Like you, she is initially portrayed as someone far off, calm, and socially awkward, but she is pretty observant and possesses a sharp sense, making humorist jokes while watching from the sidelines.
Barbara is known for her incredible imagination and love for storytelling, this is noticeable in her role as Oracle. She shares your passion for theatre, writing, and creative business. Additionally, her interest in psychological horror movies could align with your film geek side!
As someone who despises disdain and dislikes overly philosophical discussions, Barbara's very straightforward and blunt personality would resonate with you. In my opinion she's a strong character, but she also has vulnerabilities and struggles with her own daily challenges, which could make her relatable to your basketcase tendencies.
Her experience with being neurodiverse and facing challenges due to her physical disability (she uses a wheelchair) adds depth to her character, much like your experiences with clinodactyli, OCD, sensory issues, and trichotillomania. (I don’t have disabilities so i hope I betrayed this right omg)
Overall, Barbara Gordon's multifaceted personality and ability to adapt to different situations makes her a great matchup for you!!!
