Hot 4am take but I feel like if we want to get people more interested in making their yards a more habitable space for wildlife like insects, we have to acknowledge that ‘Don’t want bugs in your house’ is still a 100% fair and valid point of view. ‘Loves nature’ and ‘doesn’t want roaches spiders and mosquitoes in the house’ aren’t opposites.

And with that in mind, when we propose to people that spraying pesticides around houses is Not A Good Idea, Actually, I feel like we need to give an alternative asides from ‘deal with it.’

Something that really sets Wille and Simon apart from other queer ships is that when we say their love language is physical touch, IT REALLY IS PHYSICAL TOUCH. And I’m not speaking of just sex. Over the course of the show, the amount of touching between them is astronomical. And that’s really something rarely seen in queer media. There may be moments here or there, but often times there’s a lack of physical contact unless it’s for “the plot”. Wille and Simon feel like a real couple in the way they’re always physically reaching out for each other.

Thinking about how if Shermy Pines. And like, if he is the baby, he’d be born in the 1970s and be 40 by 2012 and he’s already a grandad. He had to be a teen dad in the 80s (after a severe economic recession) and then his kid ended up being a teen parent by 1999 (Which is 8 years before ANOTHER SEVERE ECONOMIC RECESSION LOL)

Also he was born into a pretty broken family, probably rarely if ever saw his brothers. Do you think he ever saw Stanley before he had to start pretending to be Ford? Do you think Ford visited from college??? Because he didn’t seem confident facing his father until he made millions, so like???

And, like, do you think Filbrick and Caryn changed as parents by the time they raised Shermy? Because it seems like a trend that as parents get older they mellow out a bit, so Shermy probably has a completely different experience with their parents then Stan and Ford, and talking to them is just “is this seriously the same parents???” (Imagine the silent resentment that’d cause 😭😭😭)

Personally I headcannon that Shermy had a daughter (Mabel and Dipper’s mom) and not a son like it says on the wiki because c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. Idk why this is important to me but… c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. It just feels right to me.

something I’ve noticed over this past year is how much more aware I am of the love written on people’s faces bc of dnp.

specifically pertaining to my parents, which is funny cuz you think it would be the other way around… but now I notice when my dad sneaks pics of my mom when we go out or how my mom trolls my dad but can’t keep it together halfway through the joke. and maybe it’s kinda messed up, after two decades of not noticing, to one day look at them and think “by god, that’s heart eyes howell” but also, damn, I’m so lucky. <3

I don't know, if anyone suggested it (or if it'll even be really canon to the show, as we don't know these characters, so it's mainly speculations at the moment), but...

What if Susie and Pump's parents get turned?

This happens either another missed Mother/Father's day or if Villian!Susie confronts them about their neglect. They're overwhelmed by the guilt and/or sadness over being away from their children and wish to be there for them. And Metamorpho uses it to make them villains.

As of their powers, I have two ideas, but in both cases they're kind of a mix between Puppeteer/Befana and... that one episode where Marinette's dad gets turned and locks her in rose tower (can't remember the name-). 1. Either they kidnap the children, they think are neglected by their parents/guardians and keep them away/turn them into their minions. 2. Go after any parent/guardian and make them overprotective of their children.

Don't really have any ideas for their theme, but... yeah- that's the idea.

I keep thinking about how alike Tim and Darry are because they’re both in relatively similar situations. Both are the oldest brother with two younger siblings and no parents, yet the way the act is vastly different.
