Remus is sitting in an armchair doubled over with laughter. Sirius has fallen out of his chair and is cackling on the floor with tears in his eyes from laughing so hard. Regulus is sitting on the couch trying his best to stay composed. And James in standing in the middle of the room with more passion and fire in his eyes than Regulus has ever seen.

“Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!” James is shouting.

“James—” Regulus tries to calmly interrupt.

“HOLD ON!” James looks pointedly at Regulus and his eyes look like they’re going to literally pop out of his head. “Her sister was a witch, right?” Regulus is trying so hard to hold back his laughter. “And what was her sister? A princess! The Wicked Witch of the East, Reg.” James is yelling, not unkindly just very passionately, looking directly at Regulus and nodding his head aggressively to emphasize every point.

James starts pacing in genuine distress. Sirius is rolling on the floor holding his stomach and laughing so hard his entire body is shaking. Remus has his hands over his mouth, which is doing absolutely nothing to contain his laughter.

Regulus stands up to meet James in the middle of the room. “I’m gonna stab him.” He mumbles under his breath, which makes Sirius laugh even harder—if that’s even possible.

James whips around to face Regulus. “You’re gonna looks at me and you’re gonna tell me that I’m wrong? Am I wrong?” James asks emphatically.

And the thing is—James is, in fact, very wrong. “It’s my favorite—” Regulus tries to interject but can’t even get a word in.

“She wore a crown, and she came down in a bubble, Reg!” And that proves absolutely nothing.

Regulus knows he’ll never get James to listen to him. “I’m not fighting with you.” He shakes his head, chuckling fondly.

James makes his way out of the living room. “Grow up!” He says over his shoulder.

“I’m not fighting with you.” Regulus says again.

“Grow up.” James seems to be losing steam as he leaves the room.

“Get educated!” Regulus yells then flops down on the couch and finally lets his laughter out.

Eventually Regulus, Sirius and Remus’ laugher fades into soft chuckles as they calm down and take several deep breaths to compose themselves.  

It’s a few minutes later when James appears in the doorway with a sheepish look on his face—that Regulus thinks is adorable. He slowly makes his way over to the couch and sits down beside Regulus. He’s quiet for a few moments then turns slightly to look at Regulus.   

“I’m not really mad.” James says in a small voice. “And you know I love you, right?”

Regulus chuckles fondly and takes James’ face in his hands. “Yes, I know you love me, Jamie.” He leans in to kiss James softly then pulls back the tiniest bit. “But you’re still wrong.” Regulus whispers against James lips.

Thinking about e2l + casual hate sex situationship with Soshiro Hoshina but specifically a moment when you’re deployed for a battle against some kaiju.

He’s walking down an empty hallway but all of a sudden is pinned to the wall with your forearm pressed against his neck.

“Don’t fucking die out there,” you grit through your teeth. And then you’re walking away but—

“And where do you think you’re going?”

—he pulls you back by the gear on your hips and pins you to the wall instead. As quick as he is in battle, his head tilts down to press his lips to yours.

He takes advantage of your shocked gasp and slips his tongue inside. It’s a familiar sensation, something you felt just last night in his bed when he was bringing you to heights unknown.

All you can think of is the way his toned chest presses against yours. He’s caging you against the wall like a predator, and yet you feel… safe. And the way he’s nipping at your lips with those fangs of his, you can’t help but moan against him. A whimper now that he’s pulling away.

“Sorry, just needed some motivation first heh,” he breathes heavy against you, a cheeky grin plastered on his face.

That bastard.

You can’t even throw a retort back at him because he’s already gone by the time you’ve snapped out of the haze he’s put you in.

Sorry, my ass you think to yourself. He probably just wanted to throw you off your game so he could steal the show and get more kills.

Why would he need to kiss you for motivation?

What does that even mean?

He hates you. And you hate him.

Him and his hideous bowl cut, and those stupidly hypnotizing eyes and his annoyingly contagious laugh—

Perhaps your body is just reacting in fear to the thought of neutralizing a kaiju, but that’s never been the case before has it? Not since you first started in the defense force all those years ago.

Whatever, you think to yourself. You don’t have time for this, not when you should be entering the battlefield.

For now, you’ll pretend none of it ever happened. You’ll destroy whatever kaiju’s are out there and then you’ll head straight to Soshiro’s quarters to tell him the fuck off.

A hundred meters away stands the 3rd division’s vice captain, kaiju corpses at his feet, whilst he looks at his sworn enemy walk out of the building they were just in and ever so gently touch her fingers to her lips.

i think part of why marc is so interesting from a rpf/general fandom perspective as a CHARACTER besides like idk, being the drama, is because yeah he’s a PR master and a frequent liar but he’s also like. so pathologically himself. spotty poker face. yapper. bad at little subtle social cues sometimes. intense. and he likes to be seen and known and understood! so even when he IS lying or doing blah blah pr speak, either there’s some layer of truth hidden near or inside the lie, his actions blatantly contradict said lie, or he will just straight up admit that he was lying later ! like he has to be himself he simply has to

Ichigo being a stay at home dad who works online is so in character for him actually…… he’s the type of dad to enforce 1 hour of no screen time outside playing in the yard and/or playground. He texts Orihime goofy pictures of Kazui jumping around in some water fixture in the local park and carries him home soaked to the bone and shivering with the biggest smile on his face and then they eat ice cream and wait for Orihime to get home so they can have family game night.
