This is James’ favorite time of year to run. He and Regulus like to run in the mornings and right now is the perfect weather. The summer heat is long gone, but the bitter cold hasn’t arrived yet. The air is cool and crisp and there’s a slight chill that makes every deep breath refreshing. Plus, James loves the leaves; the beautiful colors in the trees and the crunchy ones he can step on.

James is so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t realize he started to run a bit faster. He realizes when Regulus comes up beside him and glares at him then speeds up slightly so he’s just in front of James.

Oh, that will not do. James also speeds up to run beside Regulus then gives him a side glance before speeding up again.

He feels Regulus coming up beside him, but this time Regulus doesn’t match James’ pace, he runs right past him. James does the same.

Thank God they were almost home because they both keep pushing faster and faster, and by the time they reach their street, they’re nearly at a full sprint to their house.

James surges forward, putting in every last bit of energy he has and… it’s not enough.

Regulus reaches their front yard just seconds before James. Just enough time for him to turn and give James a smug smirk as he reaches the yard.

As soon as James steps on the grass he collapses to the ground and Regulus follows suit. They both roll and lay on their backs beside each other attempting to catch their breath.

After several minutes they turn their heads to look at each other, still breathing heavy.

“Why did we do that?” James asks.

“I feel like I’m dying.” Regulus says instead of answering.

“My legs feel like jelly.” James tells him.

“I can’t feel my legs.” Regulus says.

They stare at each other for a moment before they both start laughing—well, it’s more like little huffs because they’re both still out of breath.

“We should go inside.” James says after a minute.

“Okay… you have to carry me.” Regulus tells him.

“What?” James huffs another laugh.

“I have no legs.”

“I have jelly legs.”

“But I won.” Regulus pouts.

“Okay…” James can’t say no to that pout. “Give me an hour and I’ll carry you.” He also can’t walk right now.

“Okay.”

Guys it's just merch

Danny watched with a smile hidden behind his mug of hot cocoa his new family. Originally he was only going to mess with them a little, since he wanted to keep his civilian live he gained with them but at the same time wanted to kind of provoke them to tell him about their night time jobs on their own.

Not like he could just flat out tell them he knew about their vigilantes lifes and that would be embarrassing to explain.

It's not every day that Danny's powers fluked on him, but with the stress of the past months, it happened. Right at a moment, he had to be clumsy and trip over his own feet and accidentally phased through a grandfather's clock, finding a hidden passage. Well at least he learned that way that Batman hadn't placed him with some other rich fruitloop that wasn't his godfather but well... with Batman himself and his family out of mask.

Yeah no, he did not want to explain that and hoped they would do that themselves. But apparently, they took Danny's statement of wanting a normal life a bit too serious.

Which brought him back to his current entertainment in the form of messing with his siblings.

"I don't get what the problem is guys. It's just merch." He chuckled slightly at the face Damian was making. While Jason chose to kick Tim under the table.

"Soooo how much merch on Red Robin do you have with this shirt now?" Dick asked instead with a bright smile, Danny still hadn't figured out how to tell what emotion he hid behind them sometimes.

"I think this is my third shirt of him." Danny mused, placing his cup back on the table and tapping his lip in a thinking motion. "Though I was going to pick up a couple of custom-made jackets of Red Hood and a Nightwing plush later today."

He acted like he did not hear the triumph like hiss of 'yes' from Jason as well as the very upset huff of Damian.

He just grinned at the amusement about how they apparently were competing over how much merch he owned of each of them.

When he found a Robin figure and several Robin pins mysteriously placed on his desk the next morning, he broke out laughing. Yet still just to mess with them gushed about his newly gotten merch to his family while sharing a knowing look with Alfred who knew he was just messing with them.

If there was a surprising amount of Batman merch, suddenly mixed into what he already owned the following week without his knowledge. Well, he wasn't going to complain about free stuff.

But he still would get a good laugh out of their reactions on the day he decided to full on dawn every piece of Batman merge instead of theirs.

I don't own any of the assets used in rebuilding the town and the ui—nah, that's the great work of ConcernedApe. I just merely made two extra buildings to look similar enough to the other buildings in town.

Why stardew though??? idk i couldn't sleep one night and instead detailed out the steps on how I would do this with unity and aseprite because of course I'm still thinking about trigun 24/7; only this time I've recently started playing stardew.

wanted to add Nai, Livio and the rest of the cast but i wanna work on keychains next sooooo

Nai works in the library where books are less likely to offend him. Livio helps around the orphanage. Vash likes to garden and to visit the bakery next door in his free time. Kinda want Zazie to be an absolute menace of a niece that got sent there under their care.
