Hello everyone!! I’m so sorry for being so inactive lately, I’ve been having a really rough time lately. My mental health has been at an all time low, I’m changing medications, and I recently had an immediate family member pass away. Miguel just pats darling’s head and walks away 🥹 he feels like he should say something but decides not to. I feel like the next day when darling inevitably pops in to ask him to eat lunch together, he just hands them some food silently and grumbles as he sits across from them. Darling is beaming at him.

Darling keeping all the pictures Lyla shows them and Lula sending them to their phone 😅 when Miguel gets snippy over text, darling just sends an embarrassing photo to Miguel. The way I can just picture Lyla just telling darling “that’s not in my programming” when they ask for help. I know Miguel makes sure Lyla can still talk to darling but won’t respond to anything about escaping. He just wants Darling to have company and he knows darling loves Lyla-🌻

You two definitely ignore it after it happened but after there’s definitely a tension between you two. Not a bad one!! But it makes you both feel more comfortable with each other 🥺🥺

I imagine after he kidnaps you that Miguel programs her to not call for help or help you escape. He does program her to be your friend, to comfort you. But you could literally be begging her to help you, sobbing and she would just look at you, adjust her heart sunglasses and say something like ‘I can’t do that. I’m not programmed to do that’. I think he makes her record all your conversations with her so he can listen to them later, so he can know how to help you fall for him

Vent post, mention of nausea, mention of food related trauma, mention of neglect

It's really funny when you suddenly realize you actually do have a trauma involving food, like you're a kid mostly left to fend for yourself when it comes to food and when you're hungry enough temperature doesn't really matter anymore and you just grab a fucking frozen pancake and sausage on a stick and just eat it like a popsicle because you can't cook it.

Then as you grow up you still do shit like that, eat a completely frozen waffle, or fully cooked but frozen sausage or frozen fish sticks because your stomach is so empty you're nauseous from hunger and you need to eat before you throw up straight bile

Worst part is when other people look at you like you're weird for a habit you develop due to neglect as a child while growing up and having to just eat whatever you can no matter what it is as long as it's actually food because your parent is depressed and locks themselves in their room because of it or is working nights and your older sibling won't cook or isn't there so you have to learn how to feed yourself and use the stove while on a step stool because thats the only way you'll be tall enough to make sure you don't burn your Mac and cheese .
