Love Letters w/ Fyodor Dostoevsky
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ “I would've read your love letters every single night, and prayed to God you'd be comin' home alright”
• His love letters are romantic and very detailed, making sure he conveys exactly how much he misses you. He likes to write you short poems, understanding how much your heart swoons at the sweet and romantic words.
• Fyodor writes to you while he's in Yokohama, telling you how his plans are going and his estimated time of arrival at home. He continues this habit, even when in Mersault. He sends letters to you via the manipulated vampire guards, instructing them to take great care of the thin envelopes.
Scenario !! ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
Your heart beats quickly as you made your way to your mailbox to check for a letter from your lover; already prepared for the slight sadness you'd experience should the small compartment be void of a note, yet still excited for the possibility of receiving one.
You excitedly open the door to the mailbox, grabbing the numerous envelopes that filled it. Sifting through them, you start to loose hope before your eyes land on the slightly sloppy handwriting of your boyfriend. You drop the various other things on the table, including bills and junk mail in order to pry open the letter excitedly. You make sure to do it carefully though as not to rip anything.
Once you've successfully separated the paper from the envelope, you lay down on the couch on your front while giggling excitedly. You unfold the paper and start to read the comforting and familiar handwriting, feeling as though this letter was a warm and sweet hug from the Russian man.
“My dearest, Y/N,
I know I restate the same thoughts in every letter I send to you, but I truly miss you more than anything in the outside world, including my freedom. I am perfectly fine in captivity, but it truly makes my heart ache to be without my love for so long. I hope you are doing well and holding up without me, not because I doubt your individuality, but I know just how much you miss me. It is the same way for me in this prison. Even with Dazais company, my heart doesn't feel nearly as full as it does when you are around, my dear. However, when our plan succeeds, we will get the happily ever after we deserve. As for our plans, they are going as intended currently.
I cannot wait to embrace you again and to feel the reassuring sensation of your breathing against my skin and feel your arms wrapped around me so tightly and lovingly. Though I would have went about my plans regardless of your support or not, I still appreciate you staying and supporting this, although I can only imagine it has caused you much stress. No worries though, my dear, we will prevail in the end no matter the obstacles. In the meantime, here is an excerpt from a poem I memorized many years ago, I feel it may catch your interest and reassure you a bit.
Wait for me, and I’ll be back,
Disregard the fate,
In the morning with my bag,
Should you only wait.
They will hardly understand,
How I could survive.
Waiting me from foreign land,
You have saved my life.
Let them say that it’s too late.
What you feeling tells?
I’ll be back, because you wait
Like nobody else.
Again, I miss you dearly. Just in case I needed to rephrase it, my heart will not rest until you are back in my presence, for I feel our souls are intertwined. I cannot wait to reunite with with you, my love. I will see you soon.
Sincerely, Fyodor Dostoevsky”
Your heart couldn't help but flutter as you held the letter to your chest, having rolled over onto your back. Your face is warm with blush as you smile and laugh. It was beyond you how Fyodor could remember all of the information he knew, as well as numerous languages and poetry, but you certainly weren't complaining. After all, your boyfriends sweet sayings made your day every time without fail. With every letter he sent, you only became more impatient for his return.
Eloping w/ Chuuya Nakahara
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ “And run away and left it all behind, you still would've been mine, we would've been timeless”
• Eloping with Chuuyas is such a fulfilling act, especially when you don't have people whispering in your ear about how dangerous it could be.
Scenario !! ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
Romantic relationships with port mafia executives as an outsider or regular civilian were frowned upon in the organization, meaning if you and Chuuya were going to be together, you needed to be sneaky about it. The port mafia had connections all over the city, which really limited your options for dates, but you were both content with just lounging in each other's homes.
You loved leaning against his chest on his couch, a movie playing softly in the background as you both cuddled together. You liked cooking with him in your kitchen, making a mess together while giggling and then having to clean it up together. Every time you would just sit in his arms in your back yard, watching the wind blow the flowers and leaves around, was a memory with Chuuya that you were grateful for.
So, when your lover proposed the idea of elopement to you, you were over the moon. You had always wanted to marry him, youve know that he was your soulmate from the get go. Even in a billion lifetimes, you felt as though you would find each other repeatedly. You said yes, ofcourse, and started planning immediately.
It had gone exactly according to plan, too. The both of you wore rather nice clothing for the actual ceremony, exchanging pretty rings and slipping them on to one anothers fingers. The kiss you shared, the first one of your elopement, was like no other. It felt sweeter with emotion and certainly tasted that way, too, because of Chuuyas cherry chapstick. You held each other's hands tightly as you quickly walked out of the courthouse, getting into the car that had been packed with as many necessary belongings as possible, including but not limited to clothing, legal documents, and money.
Sure, the luxury of a port mafia salary was one that would probably be missed by the both of you, allowing a nicer place to stay and finer wines to drink, but you could live with Chuuya in a rundown shack for all he cared. As long as he was with you, he would be perfectly happy. Chuuya is a romantic at heart under his tougher exterior, only letting bits and pieces of that romanticism slip through the cracks.
Chuuya drove with you down long and winding roads, the both of you deciding to end the day by stargazing while sitting on the trunk of the car. You sat on Chuuyas lap, his face pressed against your back. He drew soft shapes on any part of skin within his reach, even tracing out letters and words, spelling terms of endearment such as "my love".
"You know, I don't doubt one bit that mafia affiliates could be lurkin' around here, but it's much less likely. Something like this would be frowned upon real hard back home, which is why I feel I will never regret this decision." He says, speaking straight from his heart, not caring about vulnerability anymore. He had you, and you would be the very last person to take advantage of such a delicate thing.
A grin tugs at the corner of your lips with enough force to change your facial expression immediately. You leaned back into his touch, your hand caressing his that sat against your abdomen, hugging you closer to him. "I won't ever regret it either. I'll never regret any decision I make for you, my love." You softly murmur, looking up at the stars in the beautiful, blue night sky. The blue night sky filled with glamorous and shiny stars, yet they could never compare to the shimmery glint in Chuuyas eyes every time he came around you. The blue night sky that provided a calming darkness in the world, allowing you to further relax against your, now husband's, body.
"I'll always love you, darlin', I'm so happy I can openly have you now." He speaks quietly against your shoulder, almost whispering. You reach your hand back to gently touch his hair a bit. "Me too, my love. Me too."
Crowded Streets w/ Nikolai Gogol
˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ “In another life, you still would've turned my head, even if we met on a crowded street in 1944”
• Should you meet Nikolai during one of his street performances and accidentally fall victim to his juggling skills (or lack there of) , he would look forward to seeing you around the town and in the streets again to make up for his fumble with an entertaining mini-show.
Scenario !! ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥
Walking through the busy streets, your eyes fell upon a tall man, dressed as a jester while standing on the sidewalk. "A street performer." You simply thought, trying to discreetly glance at him without making eye contact and avoid the make believe obligation to give him money. You noticed that he was juggling, tossing three red balls in the rotational pattern while blabbering on about random things to passersby.
You lowered your head as to not look at him or make eye contact as you started to pass him, before you're head jerks right back up at the loud man's voice saying "watch out!". Right in front of your face was one of the red, foam spheres, kept motionless between two bony, lanky fingers covered in the cloth of the mans red gloves.
"Aw, I'm real sorry, darlin'! That sure was close, wasn't it?" He says, his bright, toothy grin glimmering in the sunlight. You nod, inhaling and steadying your heart rate.
"Yeah, no worries though, it didn't actually hit me." You say, a bit embarrassed by the situation for seemingly no reason. He slinks backwards into a completely upright position. "I wouldn't have let it hit you regardless, sweet cheeks." He says as he creates a portal and tosses his props into the yellow opening. He rests his fingers on his chin while examining you. "You've got quite a lovely complexion! You must be quite popular when it comes to romantic affairs, I'm sure of it." He compliments. The other people bustling by make you topple a bit as their shoulders bump into yours. Nikolai gently grabs your hand and leads you away from the crowd into a more spacious area.
"You're quite handsome if I do say so myself. Especially that scar." You say, pointing at the healed wound. He smiles. "Well thank you, how sweet is that." He excitedly beams. He removes his hat from his head and slightly bows towards you. "I have yet to formally introduce myself, I am Nikolai Gogol." He says, adjusting his posture yet again to be standing straight up. You smile. "Hello, Nikolai. My name is Y/n." You smile with your arms crossed in front of your chest.
"Well then, Y/n, can I ask you if you enjoy quizzes?" He asks, his head tilted, gravity dragging the long braid along with his movements. You furrow your eyebrows a little. "I'm not too fond of the academic ones, if I'm being honest. Silly ones I don't mind." You say with a small shrug of your shoulders. He laughs.
"Perfect! Let me quiz you then, Y/n." He takes your hands in his excitedly. "Are you aware of the difference between a jester and a clown?" He says, his face about the length of a outstretched palms thumb to pinky tip away from yours. You think for a moment before speaking. "Clowns follow a routine, whereas jesters are more spontaneous and satirical, no?" You say, gazing into his eyes, surprising yourself with your eagerness to hear words of confirmation or denial slip from between his crimson painted lips. He pulls back and claps a bit.
"That's right! Marvelous! How smart you are." He says, removing his hat and placing it on top of your head. "Not many people get that right, you know? Many peoples first answer revolves around a jester being a part of a royal court, but that is simply not their differentiating characteristic." He says, patting your shoulder with a grin. You keep eye contact for a couple of seconds before he erupts into a fit of snickers.
"I'm around this area often during the week. You should come see me, I can promise to give you the very best show I can muster." He grins and with that, he is gone through a portal. He has left you there, a bit flustered as you held onto the hat tightly. You suppressed the excitement in your heart before sneaking out into the crowded pathways once again. Maybe you would take him up on that.

The timeline is broken 😭
The structure both worked n didn’t work? I think it’s really more for Tully than Vic, cos Vic already has sufficient backstory, n buildup -only a trigger is nec. Esp that late into the last season when we’re eager to see where the characters r going, not where they’ve gone or rehash some things? 704-5 worked well cos there was a balanced focus on the main not guest characters. Also imo flashbacks work better when anchored by familiar events, not vague period of multiple timeframes while jumping back and forth to the present?
I think due to the time crunch they want to condense the indiv arcs into single episodes. Like 703 for Travis with his dad, 706 for Vic & Tully with Morris, 707 for Maya with Mason.
The non-linear structure did allow for building a sense of history with Morris n the emotional impact that came after. It was a better way to incorporate the story of the guest actors, and it allowed for the inclusion of as many of the main cast as possible. The team hasn’t been really like a team since Maya was captain. There hasn't been any sort of real, shared n lasting experiences.
Imagine if we had a format like that that tied a season together, instead of the captainship n political drama, n tonally different n sometimes inconsequential scenes strung together to make up episodes, which went on to make up seasons. 704-6 r better than 701-3 imo, in an already better season, despite some issues. Sadly only upon cancellation r they focusing their resources n efforts to make it more dynamic n cohesive... n we didn't get more much-needed fresh takes from new writers n directors sooner...
We got to see the progression of how Vic came into her own as the leader for Crisis One. How it led to her emotional burnout n compassion fatigue - she truly cared for people, taking on their pain, while not being able to release her own unresolved pain or seek help when she needed it. A reality of mental health professionals, of women, esp woc.
The Travic scenes are the best scenes in a while now. It resonates the most when the writing felt true to the characters. Underneath the goofiness, they tell each other brutally honest truths. Like how they fought over their way to cope with trauma - Travis feeling the full brunt of the grief over Michael's death n struggling to really move on. While Vic quickly tried to move on after Ripley cos to let herself feel the pain fully was impossible. Or when they talked about the blatant racism/ homophobia or microaggressions each faced n how they buried instead of dealing with the pain.
Their friendship is my fav of the show and it took a backseat for a long time. Barrett n Jay have great chemistry n they always crushed it in their scenes - the emotional ones, the funny ones... But Travis hasn't been Travis, Vic hasn't been Vic, n Travic hasn't been Travic. The show tends to put relationships on hold and isolate characters n shoehorn their actions to fit the multiple new storylines they start, but don't always follow thru. A waste of the talent of the actors. When given good material like this, see them shine, case in point - Barrett here.
In a way it also felt like part damage control.
Tully thru Boris's eyes...
A rose-tinted look at a relationship built on conflicts which the show is working around instead of facing head on? Just like how OOC Vic was written in s6 when it came to Maya. It's like they realized they went too far, n now they are retconning instead of ever addressing their attitudes n actions towards Maya.
Filling in some blanks to substantiate their relationship in the lead-up to their wedding? It's valid for the shortened season - to some extent. They had been writing them as very selfish n egoistic people. Now they want to show their better sides to make people like them as a couple ... so the show can end in a big celebration of them? But just showing their good side doesn't work for me if they don't also acknowledge their darker sides.
Basically a chief n a captain ganged up to haze a junior colleague for months. An ex-battalion chief watched on n mocked - the same person who rallied the team behind him n gave him a job when he had none; the same person whose job he tried to steal. But after the extended saga, only Maya should apologize repeatedly?
I find it hard to root for Tully as a couple. The same reason why I don't find Beckett's arc fully earned. If they want to move on, yet keep making Maya be the only one addressing her own actions directly after she faced devastating consequences. While finding other ways to justify/ explain away/ minimize/ ignore/ retcon etc the actions of the others... It just makes for a very conflicting watch.
// b/w the new mayor n Ross? Also is it considered her growth? Since the brief Maya's "sit-down" of immediately shutting her down and calling her insubordinate... To when she later reconsidered and praised Andy about the "mutiny" which she jumped to conclusions to reprimand with no context... To now being okay with insubordination towards her boss cos she thought she was fighting for the right reasons... ?
Is that subtle subtext again? Is it me or is the writing for her confusing? Or is she a conflicted person who's not very self-aware?

oh hey i wanna talk abt smth thats been on my mind both lately and on and off for a while in general. sorry this ended up being a hella long post lol. but i have a lot to say
so...for context, ive been in the phandom for 10 years--since 2014--though it has admittedly been on and off in terms of engagement from me. in 2017 i got into dragon ball and all but dropped danny phantom completely with a few small drawings here and there. it was only like..within the past week that i actually got back into the phandom legitimately again, actively making art and posts about it and engaging with the source material and etc
anyway, i was obsessed with dp from 2014-late 2017 (until i got into dbz). i made lots and lots of fanart, played the gba games like all the damn time (i got to where i could speedrun tue lol), rewatched the show regularly...i was even one of those fans that bought obscure merch and learned useless trivia that ive since forgotten. in 2015 a lot of you may remember that i made @doppelgangercomic, a comic about an au i had where dan got a redemption arc (albeit a bumpy one) and future vlad was there and stuff happened (go read the comic LOL). it got a LOT of love and traction! it made me really happy to see all the positivity around my work like that :) i actually got a lot of positive responses towards my work in general. i had a really great time in the phandom back then
then i changed fandoms and kinda fell out of the phandom space. after being on a hiatus from the phandom until literally a week ago, i honestly have to say ive felt like i kind of...faded into obscurity in the phandom's eyes? basically i feel like old news. people dont generally know what doppelganger is now. they may have seen my art in passing here and there but they dont know who i am anymore. i think the only place people actively still find my old danny phantom art from when i was heavily active is...deviantart lol. i get notifications from favorites literally every day there. but uh anyway--im not saying this to garner pity or tell a sob story or anything! im just expressing some thoughts and feelings ive had for a long time lol.
the reason i bring this ^ up though, is because like...i know its not true? logically, i know that i DID make an impact in the fandom i loved/love so so much. i left my mark on both the fandom in an artistic sense, and also the people in the fandom, and sometimes i forget that because i get significantly less engagement on my posts than i used to. but i know that doesnt mean that people dont like my stuff anymore, or that ive been forgotten.
i actually got a message from someone today--a friend i made kinda recently who approached me bc they liked doppelganger actually. they told me that basically its surreal to them that theyre talking to me as a friend because they remember reading doppelganger when they were younger and looking up to me because of it. and it really reminded me of what i said previously--ive not been forgotten, and people still do appreciate and love what ive put out into the world (specifically about danny phantom in this case). ive made an impact on people's lives even when i dont realize it or see it physically. the message and sentiment made me feel really really good and nice and happy and honestly relieved, because the phandom and danny phantom as a media has been an extremely important and impactful part of my life ever since i got into it ten years ago. i literally changed my name to dan because of it lol. it was the reason i found stephen silver's work and went down that path of my art journey. its the reason i found so many amazing people and friends and artists and continue to do that even now. i owe a lot to danny phantom and the phandom as a whole, and i try to give back in the only ways i know how--mainly thru showing my passion through my art and posts.
anyway erm. yeah. all of this to say i wanted to thank yall--the phandom--for supporting me all this time, whether youve been with me from the beginning or if youre just joining me recently. youve been an absolute delight in my life and i know youll continue to be for a long time. :)

Pit orphanes kaimaki's kid (kind of)
Hina: I had an AU where Kaito got really sick and knew he was gonna die so he recorded all these videos for his daughter before he passed and instructed Saiou to give them to her at different points of her life It was based on the elephant from inside out dying lmao He plans videos for moments that might not even happen He has several shovel talk videos And they differ based on his kids sexuality He made all these coming out videos of him being supportive
Beez: help the way i was about to say imagine he has a video prepped for when his daughter gets a bf but she turns out gay [sob emoji]
Sini: He went through his gay acceptance/understanding arc
Hina: Comforting after a breakup. “I know your partner broke your heart, and that sucks. I promise, I’ll haunt them for the rest of eternity, and I’m sure your uncle Kokichi will make their life a living hell.” Okay just Imagine He’s recording all these taps And there’s so many But you can see him slowly getting more run down as he does But he’s still smiling in all of them He wants his daughter to know just how much her dad loved her. He knows that Shuichi and Kokichi will take care of her But
Sini: IT'S NOT THE SAME He wanted to see his daughter grow up
Hina: Exactly That’s all he wanted, more than anything But he won’t be able to I headcanon he gets sick when she’s really young too So he doesn’t even know if she’ll remember him, and that’s another reason he wants to make these
Ves: there's a video of him apologizing in case she inherits his sickness
Hina: I think he has a video just labeled. “Give this to her when she’s ready” and it’s him explaining how he died This is gonna sound really stupid but he leaves his daughter these galaxy crocs and now she wears them all the time They’re a million times too big (Also his daughter having to do a project for school about her hero and she picks him)
Checkers: does he leave her The Jacket
Hina: Absolutely Also I imagine he tells Saiou not to watch the videos before she does. He wants her to be the first to see them And the first time they show her one and she’s just so excited, not really understanding As they realize exactly what they are
Sini: "Dada!" : D She reaches out
Ves: there's simple videos of him singing lullabies, reading stories, etc that she watches over and over as a little kid she knows his voice as well as anyone else's :')
Hina: Also just when she argues with Saiou, screaming about how they’re not her real dad.
Checkers: How old is she when she sees the first video? Hina: Probably 4-6 I don’t have an exact date for when Kaito dies but She’s around those ages
[me? coming in late and changing the flow of the conversation? more likely than you think]
Wh. What happened to her mom?
Hina: Great question. No idea skskskskks
Sini: I assumed Maki was the mom-
Hina: I wasn’t sure if it was Maki who just went MIA or what but Mom isn’t around
Ves: if mom isn't in the picture. wouldn't he have had to give up going to space? for her?
Hina: And he was 1000% ready to do it
Sini: She's his brightest star
Hina: Also when I said it was inspired by the elephant from inside out [sends gif of the elephant saying "Take her to the moon for me. Okay?"] That’s the quote I based this on
I don't want Maki to die in child birth so divorce it is, my default hc for her realizing she's a lesbian only after a longterm relationship with him not working out the way she thought it would Activated
Hina: Does she try to reach out to Maki later
I think Maki would just, loose the rights in court at first bc Kaito is better off and later be unavailable for some reason
She's broke bc the divorce goes thru as her fault and not an agreement so Kaito takes everything and then she moves to another country for work
Clown_Chaoticz: OHHH. If the reason over her leaving is along the lines of her having the realization it isn't the life she wants. It would be so cathartic for them to have a conversation later on that's just Maki explaining why she couldn't be her mom. It's not that she had done anything wrong, some people are just not cut out for that lifestyle. She wasn't. And she won't be. It's not the beginning of a new relationship between them. But its closure. I like that sorta thing
I didn't know how to put it but, yeah, I don't think she fought to get the weekends
Clown_Chaoticz: Does she keep in contact with saiou at least?? How is Maki even feeling at the moment?? Did they separate on civil terms? Did they fight over it? Does she even get to grieve the friendship she lost?? MAN
I think it's really bitter and messy bc the kid is 2 or under and Kaito just refused to do an agreement of any kind because of that
Hina: DAMN KAITO MADE A HOT MESS OF THE DIVORCE?
If she's leaving them, then she's leaving with nothing, if she's breaking apart their family then she doesn't deserve any time with their daughter, should have stayed if she wanted to see her regularly He'd believe in staying together for the kids, it's his traditional upbringing striking again
Clown_Chaoticz: OHHH I didn't even think about the traditional nuclear family dynamic he'd favor Yeah I could see that being a source of conflict Man everyone here is NOT having a good time
Checkers: does Maki even know Kaito’s dead
Clown_Chaoticz: MAN IF SHE AT LEAST HAD THE PIECE OF MIND THAT SHE WAS LEAVING THE KID WITH KAITO NOTHING CAN STOP HIM. SHE DOESN'T HAVE A DOUBT THAT HE'D COMPENSATE FOR HER ABSENCE TEN FOLD ONLY TO REALIZE HES DEAD
Ves: HER DAUGHTER IS BEING RAISED BY KOKICHI!? SHE LEAVES YOU FOOLS FOR TEN MINUTES
Checkers: Is she even allowed to visit her daughter
Hina: I think that Maki doesn’t meet their daughter again till she’s older
Ves: is the daughter angry or just tired
Hina: I think a little bit
Apollo: I think Kokichi would be hesitant to let her visit but after talking to Shuichi, they'll allow it
Sini: It's Maki, and given his possible trauma with being abandoned, probably even by his parents…..Yeah-
Apollo: Kokichi, having his own abandonment issues: I dunno Shuichi: Kaito would want them to at least meet once Kokichi: Ugh you're right…But I'm being in the room to make sure everything goes well. It's awkward but can you blame him? He has his own issues he's still working through plus he's never had the best relationship with Maki
Sini: And then she pulls something like that which makes it sm worse He sees her as hypocritical in a sense, cause an orphan like her should've known better to do that Kaito knowing that his death will inflict the same trauma on his daughter that his own parents' death did on him : D It adds more reason to why he's upset at Maki
Checkers: She really just inherited both her parents’ parental issues
Apollo: Plus she's being raised by two guys with their own issues regarding parents. That poor girl
Sini: I don't think she'd be good in any of the V3 cast's hands. They're all fucked She's inheriting some trauma
Clown_Chaoticz: Okay. Considering part of the reason Maki and Ouma don't get along in the first place is due to ✨️ projection ✨️, "I hate that I look you and see the worst of what I could be/have been" silly guys who both end up throwing the last thing they'd ever want done to them at each other. IMAGINE the bitter feeling that would come from watching someone like Ouma live comfortably in the life that for a while she thought she wanted. Why couldn't she have had the same peace he seems to? Why was she never to fit herself in a place like that? She wanted to be happy about it. Why couldn't she be?
Sini: YEAH! Girl was forced to be a caretaker in the orphanage she lived in. It was something she was expected to do since she was young, it became one of her ultimate talents. It's part of what defined her….How could she not acheive what was expected of her her whole life?
Ves: taking care of children was the only reason she kept living for so many years…why shouldn't it be the core of her life? why can't she make herself keep doing it? she doesn't know how to live for herself. beyond the parentification, who even is she? but…she doesn't HAVE to live like that anymore. no one's got a gun to her head anymore. so… i'd flee the country too honestly maki on her self discovery europe backpacking trip
Hina: Caring for kids and having your own are so different She just Doesn't know how to be a mother in that way To actually be seen as nurturing Also her having to grieve Kaitos passing But not knowing how
Checkers: I assume it’s been a few years between Kaito’s death and Maki finding out It’s been so long, how does she grieve? She doesn’t know, like she doesn’t know how to face her daughter after so many years apart does her daughter even remember her
Hina: Her daughter probably doesn't She was only two Kaito having a video about Maki He has a couple: "For when she asks about her mom" "If her mom comes back" "If she wants to find her mom"
Checkers: I just had an awful thought Is there a video for in case Shuichi/Kokichi dies
Hina: Oh no He probably has one Wait imagine Something happens to either Shuichi or Kokichi And she just becomes terrified
Apollo: NOOOOOO SHE'S LOST HER DAD, SHE'S ONLY JUST SORTA RECONNECTED WITH HER MUM AND NOW ONE OF HER UNCLES IS HURT/DEAD
Hina: Just If something happened to one of them and she was ready to drop everything for them instead of Maki
Apollo: Maki doesn't know how to feel cause on one hand, she deserves it. She hasn't been in her life at all but on the other hand…It's Kokichi because despite how much of a help he's been in replacing her raising her daughter, a part of her still can't get over what he was like when they were younger
Checkers: I think it’d make for an interesting dynamic too if Shuichi was the one hurt, because Maki would see how capable Kokichi is with her daughter even under that much stress
Apollo: Like part of her still thinks Kokichi won't take things seriously but he seriously steps up and she has to admit he's changed from the brat he was Like she forgets that he's a LEADER It drives her nuts but she has to thank him
Hina: Maki has to deal with the fact that her only blood related family, likes her mortal enemy more than her That. Kaito would sooner trust their daughter with Kokichi Ouma than her
Apollo: It just…Hurts in a way she can't describe. She knows she left and all. She's not surprised Kaito trusted Shuichi but Kokichi? Was she really gone for that long that she missed him changing? Or was she too blind to see that he wasn't as horrible as she thought he was?
Sini: Love Maki realizing that she had Kokichi wrong the whole time And Kokichi in turn coming to terms with how complex Maki is
Hina: I'm just thinking about the idea of Saiou showing these videos to their daughter and when she first meets Maki she's just like. "You were absent my whole life, I know my dad more than I know you." And the fact she knows Kaito better when he was gone when she was an infant just
I'll give my idea for what could happen before someone else makes it angstier than it has to be: Shuichi gets shot while working on a case, so they rush to the hospital without knowing any details, but it's just a scare and he's mostly fine, going to have a cool scar, the bullet is already removed by the time they get there, it didn't hit anything vital and he's stable

So you wanna learn more about Cole huh?
Here’s some silly tidbits about him + his story if you’re considering supporting Cole and his adventure through the @original-character-championship !! (P.S: he may or may not have a playlist . It’s not finished/organized <:[)
Cole needs a break from the horrors he goes through in the story by staying throughout the poll!!!!!!! He loses the entirety of his home village by an accident that causes a fire (resulting in intense pyrophobia) and lives without his parents (though, taken under the care by three women for about a year. They just so happen to be psychic gods to some extent, haha). Cole ALSO goes under the care of the founder of Chimera Corps, and while it was a good roof under his head it was um ! Not very great for him to see as a 9 year old (he does run away from there along with someone else so it’s ok). He does end up having to confront the more stronger Upper Ranks of Chimera Corps alongside other events in the story.
He’s extremely well-informed about mechanisms of common life things, such as of gadgets thrown into garbage and worn-down technology, getting most of his knowledge off the journals his father had written before most were burnt to ash by the flames. Many of his other hobbies include identifying insects thru appearance (cause touching them makes him uncomfortable), slingshotting, stargazing, and a couple more hobbies!!
He’s not psychic compared to his other friends (and Connor), but he’s still god’s weakest (strongest) little guy. He’s gotten himself in enough situations to get himself out of, whether or not major.
He accidentally woke up a psychic god from a 300+ year slumber once. Said psychic god then proceeded to be one of the first three out of the other three completely different groups that took care of him. The first three put him under their care out of sympathy for a whole year. They miss him :[
His friend group comprises of (equally traumatized) teenagers. All of them r very coolsies and deeply care for him bc he’s the youngest one.
His whole arc includes helping someone escape from Chimera Corps, finding that he is more than just his use for his technological smarts, getting thrown into a mirror world, committing ghost murder, escaping said mirror world nearly losing his soul, having a 13 year old from the time period emergence of psychic powers get attached to him, and much much more ! It’s slightly crazier if I actually went into the details.
He is absolutely a minecraft kid. If you gave him those cheesy minecraft shirts u find elementary kids wearing he’ll probably keep it.
There is a man in his late 30s who absolutely DESPISES Cole. 12 year old pisses off extremely-unreasonably-strong-psychic-in-Chimera-Corps-next-to-[REDACTED] from the Upper Ranks just for the schematics.
Cole makes his little inventions with his friends in mind!!
Theres sosososoo much more abt cole i love abt him and i cant wait for the world to see my boy. Vote for him if you may!!!!

could we have, like, a quick-ish summary of fate’s fiercest so far? i’m loving the artwork but have absolutely no clue what’s going on lol
Yeaahh I just realized to anyone scrolling thru my tumblr the actual plot of what’s going on might be hard to understand 😅
The Basics:
Before this group of weirdos was another adventuring party who called themselves’ Misery’s Flock. They formed as a party because of an employer named Charlay (who for context, is a vessel created for the sole purpose of acting out the Goddess Ramona’s plan). During that party’s time, a disease was spreading across the country that they were /supposed/ to stop before it reached the capital city. They had a package in their care that was to be delivered to a genasi who could help with making a cure. It was delivered, but many of the party members died and they had arrived too late. They technically failed, and the disease continued to wreak havoc for 10 years.
Fast forward to now. Ramona (Goddess of Fate, Death and Graves) has been searching for a new party to once again stop the spread of the plague that has now made its trek to a different country. Instead of relying on a mortal person to gather up members, she has Charlay and Elisheva (Goddess of Lies, Luck, and Trickery) to assemble a new group of people she has personally selected. One way or another, they all went to one city and were given a contract to become a party under Charlay’s name.
As a newly assembled group, Charlay sends crows to their locations to scout out different items and solve problems in villages and cities to bring them one step closer to ending the plague. The plan changed ever so slightly though. Originally, the idea was to gather old scattered dwarven mural pieces dedicated to the god Makana (Music, Joy, Medicine) so that he may gather enough power to stop the plague.
The party soon discovered that it wasn’t so much as the plague spreading, as it was the goddess Det (Disease, Poison, Cults) and her, well, cult, trying to bring about the apocalypse (as in, Pestilence, Famine, War, and Death). They’ve been trying to get enough power to Det to consume a mortal life that they’ve prepared and possess a vessel that they have cultivated for her for over 20 years, that vessel being Wendy (twin sister of Jasper). Everything they’ve done on this adventure so far has been an effort to stop the cult.
And everything they’ve done so far has just been build up to the main quest arc where they finally start to realize how much shit they’re in and how much is riding on their shoulders. Being saviors of the world is kind of a tough job lmao.
(I could get into the nitty gritty how just everything they’ve done but honestly it’s so much because I am NOT good at pacing lmao)

Do you have any theories on what Jancy's plot within the larger plot will be next season? I'm guessing that the kids will be on Vecna duty. If we're coming full circle to season 1 then maybe monster hunters 2.0? Nancy did see that vision of the army of monsters, they may want to head into the Upside Down and take it out before it crosses over.
It’s really hard to say how they’ll use each group next season, but I’d like to see Jancy following up on the UD is frozen November 6, 1983 plot. After all, Nancy was the one to realize it, and it directly affects Jonathan since Will went missing that day, and perhaps his guilt about being absent when Will went missing could come into play? Maybe it could then connect into Will becoming a focus and Vecna targeting him, or connections/revisiting that day that need to happen. I feel like all members of the Byers fam, especially Will, have to revisit that day. If Will really is a big focus which I think he will be, I hope they connect into that plot. I want them to connect into the main plot and not have Jonathan separate from coming full circle to s1 which should involve the Byers fam. I’d also like to see them connect to El bc Nancy’s the only one who saw what really happened to El and Jonathan is her brother now.
You’re right Ig I could see them doing something with monster hunting bc that army of monsters vision will prob come true, so maybe they’d try to hold them off, but that’s going to be a lot of monsters, too many for two people, and I don’t think just scenes of fighting monsters is as interesting. Also the MF will get out, regardless. Another interesting possibility would be if they’re tackling the concept of the hive mind.
But to breakdown possible plotlines that exist in s5 that we’re not quite sure which grouping will focus on (and I hope the groupings aren’t as isolated bc they need to know what the other groups are doing):
—Will being a focus thru Vecna targeting him and/or being a key to figuring out why the UD is frozen and revisiting that Nov 6, 1983 somehow and also what happened to him while in the UD
—dealing with a possible invasion of an army of Monsters as Nancy sees in the vision. I think the MF has to come hugely into play here. Also, we’ve seen via Russia that attacking the hive mind is a way to affect Vecna. They need to undo the hive mind.
—Getting Max out of the coma (but I could see this happening late and being a crucial plotline to defeating him)
—how Vecna will reconstitute himself, that he could bring people into the mindscape (but he doesn’t need to since the portals are open already—he might instead try to lock off the mindscape and they will need to find a way in)
—this connects to how we’ll also learn more about Henry in flashbacks and Henry as he becomes Vecna in the UD (can El access this and use it agst him?)
—that we need to get a history of the UD and how it was formed (this brings us back to vecna, but also revisiting the day El opened the gate and Will disappeared)
—preventing the rest of what Nancy saw from coming true
—Dustin’s grief arc around Eddie (idk this makes him vulnerable to Vecna or angry enough to not be offering theories)
—ultimately unfreeze the UD which would make them able to get rid of it or have things in the right side up affect and transform it, ultimately destroying it
—defeat Vecna and the MF, most likely through severing connections with how the hive mind works? (Also not sure if the order—you prob have to do this before unfreezing the UD?)
Idk what other things am I leaving out?
Of these what do you see each group tackling?

So I'm really late to the whole ACOSF rant but I'm still gonna do it, otherwise my brain just won't let me sleep:)
Obviously don't read if you haven't read ACOSF, or actually any ACOTAR books because I'm pretty sure there are spoilers for those as well.
This will be all over the place so bear with me:)
I'm gonna start off by saying these are just my opinions, so I'm sorry if I offended yours in any way:)
IC,Rhys, Feyre and Elaine are not, and never will be, Nesta's real family. The reason I feel like this is because around them Nesta feels like she needs to be worthy of their love and appreciation, while around Gwyn and Emerie she feels loved and appreciated.
Nesta is not less worthy of Cassian just because of the way she dealt with her problems. In general I feel like everyone is about mental illness representation, until they see that the way some people deal with said illnesses is not always "quirky", "funny" etc. She used alchohol and sex to deal with her trauma, but just because Feyre and Elain didn't doesn't mean that her way is wrong (there is no wrong or right way, you deal with you shit how you have to)
Why did Feyre get pregnant so quick. If I remember correctly SJM said in previous ACOTAR books that fae usually need a lot of time to conceive, but I guess Feyre is just that special, huh?
I don't understand why did SJM take away Nesta's powers. Rhys and Feyre reformed the freaking Cauldron, and Nesta killed 1, if not 2 I don't remember, Death God(s), but saving Feyre and her baby is what took them away¿¿ idk I just don't get it.
I LOVE the Rhys slander. I was kinda icky about him even before reading ACOSF, but Nesta's POV cemented my opinion on him. He is not a feminist, no matter how hard people try to make him be, I feel like he and Feyre have savior and superior complexes, so when Nesta didn't glorify him he just didn't like her.
Say what you will about Nesta and Elain letting their younger sister hunt for them and not doing a thing, Feyre and Elain did it right back at Nesta. I'm specially mad about Elain, who people love for being such a sweet lovable person. Nesta protected her all the time, and when Elain was having hard time after being turned, Nesta was there for her ALL THE TIME. When the time came for Elain to be there for Nesta, she just turned her back on her and joined Feyre's court. SJM is gonna have to work hard for me to like Elain
A quick question, what happened in this book. Like really, tell me the plot. To me this book just felt like SJM wanted to get us off her back about nessian, so she wrote a bunch of their smut added some new therms, and that was it. Nothing wrong with a book being primarily focused on the smut and not the plot, but like, at least admit it's like that...
Why is SJM overshadowing Lucien??? And why hasn't Feyre yet told him that Helion is his father??? I don't understand how she feels entitled to keep that to herself after everything that she and Lucien went together thru. He deserves so much more, my precious fox baby🥰🥰
I saw people saying this so I'm gonna include it. Firstly, Tamlin deserves some sort of redemption arc, or in general a happy ending. I don't like how SJM dragged him thru dirt, so Rhys can be a "better man". Next one is very important, and I unfortunately don't have the original post that said this but how many people would love Nesta if she was a guy. Like the attitude, the moodiness, the comebacks... she is unapologetically a bitch and I guess not everyone likes that with female characters.
Lastly, I hope Gwyn and Azriel get their book, I just love them😊
I'm sorry if some sentences don't make sense, English is not my first language and it's past 1am so my brain can't make good sentences at the moment:)

You know, it's funny to me that so many people complain that lately Bakugou's attitude feels OOC while I've never read someone saying the same thing about Deku's, how he's toned down himself, too. Why is it? Is it because he went through things that changed him, even for a while? Well, so did Bakugou lmao. What, he can change but the other can't? Or is it because seeing Deku being more "edgy" appeals many of his so called fans, who don't really like his true self? I'm so tired.
I much prefer the Deku who openly emotes his feelings, vulnerabilities, and insecurities (yes even when he cries), because the alternative is him unhealthily locking his true self away...which we've literally seen a whole arc about how toxic that's been for him. However, the biggest change with post-war Deku is that now he's unusually subdued and quiet in the sense that we (the audience) can't see what he's actually thinking/processing most of the time. It's a very strange radio silence in a way, esp compared to pre-war Deku, but this could also very well be a deliberate ptsd symptom (on Hori's part) to infer from the Deku who saw his loved ones (yes including Kacchan) get violently maimed and almost die before his eyes. :')
However, most of the complaints I've seen about Deku are from those readers who view him as a self-insert, and are upset that Hori isn't writing him the way they want to. So whenever I catch even a whiff of their 'edgy' self-insert revenge fantasies thru Deku, I immediately don't like it. (Because Deku's virtues would never~) So for that, I'm glad Hori's the one at the wheel when handling the consistencies of his characters (however I would like to see more of Deku's inner thoughts about the manga's current events in general!)

Bluefur and gray wing time
Spoilers for dawn of the clans and bluestars prophecy.
Bluefur
Shes gone thru a lot throughout her super edition and into the wild
She lost her mother very early into her life which would greatly impact anyone. She closes herself off and struggles to do her apprenticeship, even internally berating snowpaw for moving on. Its not nice, but shes young and is blinded by grief that shouldnt be on anyone at such a young age. Sunfall goes about it correctly imo. Telling her moonflower will always be with her and that she needs to help the clan without yelling at her to “cut it out”.
Shes correct to not trust thistleclaw. Hes arrogant and makes no attempt to change his actions. He yells at bluefur about snowfurs death when it literally couldve been anyone out on the thunderpath. It couldve been one of the shadowclan warriors, it couldve been bluefur herself.
She helped look after whitekit, snowfur later telling her it was easier to leave knowing he had her. She lost so much in her life and tried her best to make things right and ok. She has a prophecy hanging over her constantly, goosefeather making her aware of this constantly.
The prophecy also COULD allow room for kits. Tawnyspots wasnt dying for a while. She couldve raised her kits (maybe with thrushpelt if she had been told she could have kits or with oakheart if they had met earlier in the book) early on. Even if it was earlier but still ‘too late’ she couldve gotten them grown to be weaned and still be deputy. Squilf had kits WHILE being deputy so why couldnt bluefur?
Even still, without that interjection, she gave up her kits to save her clan and them from eventually being under thistleclaws rule. She even lost more through that sacrifice. Not only could she not raise her kits, she lost mosskit on the journey to sunningrocks. That mustve haunted her for her entire leadership. But it was at least eased during her lives ceremony when mosskit let her know it was okay with no hatred in her eyes.
Later on, in the first arc, she does get worse. Losing faith in starclan and her own clan. She takes it own on poor brightpaw naming her ‘lostface’. She calls her clanmates traitors. Her actions honestly have no excuse and i cant see and justification anyone could come up with.
Bluestar isnt perfect. No one is. You can like her, i DO like her. Just like for any media, you can like it while still seeing the flaws and criticizing it. You can like characters who do bad things while not condoning those bad things. I also like mapleshade!
I have a lot of feelings about bluestar and cant write them all here so onto my boy
Gray Wing
Hes amazing. I love him dearly.
Hes gone through a lot as well but doesnt let his bad experiences control his actions. He loved storm, she took clear sky as a mate, he rejected her and thunder, and gray wing took care of thunder. He never hated thunder for wanting to be with clear sky too. He took care of turtle tails kits as if they were his own. He would risk his life for her and the kits. He moved on from her because she wanted him to be happy, and gray wing knew he should and deserved to be happy too. He protected those kits with his life as well. He died happy, reassuring his kits as he died.
He loved clear sky, even when clear sky was a complete jerk to everyone. He helped starflower and clear skys kits without expecting anything. He knew it was right and went ahead and helped. Even when starflower betrayed them all earlier.
He was unintentionally smothering because he wanted thunder and jagged peak to be happy. When his faults were pointed out, he apologized and gave them the space they needed.
When pebble heart was getting visions, he comforted him, letting him know it was ok and letting pebble heart tell him about them. He tried to be a good leader for his friends when tall shadow was taking care of moon shadow. He knew he didnt want to be a leader, and wasnt ready but he tried.
Hes changed camps so many times but finally could be comfortable with wind runners cats. He was sad, but completely okay with his kits (turtlr tails) joining different groups because he wanted them to be happy as well.
Gray wing is my definition of a good cat. He took care of so many, loved those that sometimes hated him, went after jagged peak to let quiet rain know her sons were gonna be ok and rest easy while in the mountains. Hes made so many sacrifices and been through so much pain, but was able to live happily and die in peace with those who loved him.
Adoption needs to be more normalized in wc. Holly jay and lion shouldve been grateful to squilf for raising them, just as turtle tails kits were grateful to gray wing for raising and being there for them.
Gray wing is a big fav of mine

your post about Pakistani dramas seeming progressive is soook applicable to Dobara omg. now that it's finished i want to say overall it's relatively feminist compared to other dramas coming out now. but it definitely could have gone better considering how it started with everyone saying "ofc it's ok for an older woman to marry a younger man. she does what she wants." the narmeen /mahir's mom plot kind of ruined that (but also as a piece of art i think it's good writing that the issue of youth vs age and poverty vs wealth were addressed thru that). anyways. i have a lot of thoughts
Yess I loved that Mahir wasn't perfect (the pre narmeeen reentry Mahir is the one I'm talking about) but my boy was struggling and it was so so so good to see them portray that not everyone who suffers from trauma comes out all sunshine and rainbows and a ball of optimism and righteousness and that doesn't mean they aren't strong or good.
In general I agree the messages of this drama were so GOOD and awesome and even Mahir's dad said that no matter what Mahir went through or how tempting Narmeen's offer was, he is responsible for his own bad actions and his past traumas don't give him a right to hurt Mehru or justify the hurt he's causing her. So I'm glad they at least got that out of the way.
Pakistani dramas being realistic has always been a double edged sword for them. I think I wouldn't have minded watching Mahir getting thoughts about cheating on Mehru but what truly broke my heart was how cruelly they executed it. They didn't have to show him being practically disgusted by Mehru's wrinkles (and Hadiqa doesn't even have them like her skin's like so much better than many girls in their 20s me included 😭🤣😅 lmfao so it was so ironic. And girls/women don't have "perfect" skin even in their 20s, wish this drama could've touched on that too.) Him being so repulsed by her touches, speaking so rudely about her flaws in front of Narmeen, and unapologetically cheating on her were just more than enough to bring all his character development crashing down in a second unfortunately. So it was a case of TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE for me. First of all Mahir didn't deserve a redemption arc and then secondly they reserved like what barely 10 minutes?? of redemption arc for him which is just wayy too little but his character was ruined for me anyway.
It had SO much potential, like it was going to the IT Pakistani drama for me had they not ruined Mahir and I'm just numb at this point, they did his character so dirty.
Thanks for sending in the ask 💚💚💚💚💚 and sorry for the long rant

Traitor Tubbo
I've seen so many excellent theories as to who the traitor is and I would like to throw my hat into the ring. I see several possible options. Depending on how this is received, this could be part one of a few. Reminder, this is all speculation. I'm analyzing a character here, not the streamer themselves, and in reality no one, especially not these teens and 20-something role players, are genuinely intending to be malicious or calculated. This is a game. But they're playing it, and my heartstrings, so damn well.
My top theory for the traitor? Tubbo.
Traitor Tubbo is definitely a fan favorite, and I'm probably a bit biased. I watch his streams most often and perhaps am overthinking things. But here's my supporting evidence: I think Tubbo has the most motivation because it's been established that Tubbo is underapprecited and underestimated. He's assumed to a yes-man, Tommy's right hand man. Schlatt specifically made him Secretary of State because he knew it would be a kick in the gut to Tommy.
But everyone also knows that shit gets done when Tubbo is on the server. This kid is dedicated. Guess thats what quarantine does to a Minecrafter. He planned the fesitval, helped streamline Pogtopia's potatoes, is an expert in redstone, is draining the ocean and making allies with the Badlands (BBH, Awesamdude, Antfrost, a few others).
Jschlatt said in his speech at the Festival that Tubbo gets things done (only to kill the kid like 10 minutes later ) and Wilbur said, later, that the planned Manberg Hotel probably won't be built now that Tubbo is (supposedly) on Pogtopia's side. I see parallels to Eret's traitor arc: he was the deus ex machina who saved them in Season 1 from being arrested for drugs, built their walls overnight and was given little credit for it. Wilbur still says to this day, "The walls I built to protect us."
Underappreciation fuels betrayal on this server. And Eret was smart. Overpowered, almost, from all his grinding (some of which he did with Tubbo, for hours on end.) He knew the revolution was 'never meant to be,' that L'Manberg was the losing side. He betrayed for power and kingship. Tubbo has different motivations - he doesn't advocate for violence, so he's said, and he just wants people to get along. He doesn't want a war. So what might he do for peace?
We all know, if we watch old SMP Earth clips and his Among Us streams that he is big brained. He's sometimes malicious and mischievous when he wants to be, as attested by his recent stair pranks. So him being the peaceful, owo baby boi side character isn't necessarily fact. It's a bit. A role, along the lines of Tubee and Big Law. He's much more.
Speaking of the stair prank, so funny, but had the potential to be cruel, too. Anyways, he clearly said that he was watching Tommy's stream, and saw Tommy die to the stairs. Then he pops on the server later and acts clueless to what went down, though he knew, mentioned in his stream earlier that day, that something important was going to happen that day. He turns up while they're discussing traitors, is quick to take control of the conversation and point out that the traitor is likely Wilbur (for being 'technically' on Dream's side, the side of chaos.) Fuel is added to the flames of confusion and infighting.
Playing dumb is one of Tubbo's most popular bits. It farms awes, as Tommy says. People underestimate him and assume he has no reason to lie. Tommy so easily believed him when Tubbo said he had the discs. In the Dream Betrayal stream, Tommy confronts Dream about the location of the discs with Tubbo in the call. The misunderstanding is cleared up. They don't question Tubbo's earlier statements. They also don't question it when Tubbo mentions he has blackmail on Dream. I have no idea what that might be, we can speculate on that all day. But when it comes to the discs, I think Tubbo lost a bargaining chip there. His lie was very thin. But we know he's good at lying (when its actually important) and thinking quick on his feet so I feel like there must be some motivation behind it. I don't know how, but I think the discs will definitely play a part in the coming war.
That same stream, with Dream's betrayal, Wilbur even foreshadowed Traitor Tubbo. He was making a list of their allies on the wall in Pogtopia and, despite his chat screaming at him to include Tubbo, he leaves the kid off the list and dismisses chat's worries. I'm being a little dramatic here, but can you imagine Tubbo coming across that? Seeing himself, once again, left out of the loop, off the list of people they can trust, possibly considered unimportant now that he's filled his role as a spy and had his arc seemingly completed? Back to being a yes man, a footnote in L'manberg's history, the sidekick to the protagonist, a foil who is killed off to fuel the protagonists' need for revenge.
Except, in Minecraft, you don't really die. You're respawned. Tubbo didn't die when he was executed on the day of the festival; a celebration he planned, was proud of, so excited to take part of that he used a dyslexic font to write his speech.
Some notes about the festival.
1. His excitement. He was looking forward to it. I say let him be excited, that's not necessarily suspicious - he worked damn hard on it.
2. But, I have thought about his difficulty choosing a side. He showed interest in blowing up L'Manberg, but then turns on a dime when Tommy says it's bad, and then comes up with a diplomatic response of "I trust your better judgment, Wilbur " There was the added element of peer pressure from Wilbur and Tommy, granted, talking over him and assuming his viewpoint. He's not always a yes man, he stands up to himself with Tommy constantly, but the scene with him on the roof with Tommy and Wilbur shows how little he is kept in the loop. (Him understanding peer pressure likely led to him forgiving Techno so easily. But I also wonder, and others have too, if he forgave Techno.... too easily.)
3. This isn't so much of a point but something that keeps the writer in me up late at night. He was very grateful when Schlatt praised him, probably something he didn't hear often under Wilbur's rule.
4. He said the phrase. In spite of him not advocating for violence, he said the phrase that would trigger an explosion. The choice was in his hands. That is assuming he got Wilbur's DM telling him what to do, but Tubbo had been told by Wilbur to check his DMs and they had been exchanging whispers frequently throughout the stream, Tubbo taking orders from Wilbur to hurry things along. On that note, why a DM? Why didn't he give Tubbo the order through a whisper thru minecraft where we could see the wording? Likely because they use their DMs to push along major plot points and discuss serious matters. This wasn't just an order from Wilbur, the character, this was an order from the streamer who has the most role playing experience and has admitted to being the puppetmaster behind a lot of Tommy and Tubbo's major actions. Tubbo, who has always tried to advocate for peace, supposedly was told a trigger phrase that would blow the place up, and he said it. It was so out of character for him, that I was surprised, and Wilbur was surprised too, from how Tubbo scrambled. So, I don't know - did Tubbo know it was a trigger phrase? What did the DM say?
There was clearly a lot of miscommunication and weird things that day so all of this is speculation. However, from Tubbo' side of the stream, you can see the deliberation when he finished the speech. The pause. The silence, like he was finished, but then Schlatt reminded him (not the real quote) "Anything else?" And then. Tubbo took the leap. To us, the uninformed audience, it seemed he was willing, in that moment, to allow the chaos.
He was given a role of power, and it backfired on him so quick after, but I would like to rewind to the moment Wilbur decided to give Tubbo a deciding role. I knew Tubbo would be playing a big part this season, cause the boy deserves it, but Wilbur putting that decision in the hands of Tubbo? Wow. *Chef's kiss* Wil's reasoning was, if Tubbo wanted to prove he wasn't a yes man, he'd make the decision NOT to pull the trigger.
But Wilbur also said that Schlatt approved of the speech and would know if Tubbo deviated, putting Tubbo at risk of being caught. He was caught anyway, obviously, but there was a moment there... where Schlatt was giving Tubbo a choice, too. To say the phrase that would prove he was a traitor. Like...Schlatt knew what was planned, and wanted to see what Tubbo would decide. Maybe it was a trigger phrase for something else, not just the bombs.
Point is. Tubbo, technically, saved the day. He was, in physical form, the button. He was the deciding factor for great destruction. He said the phrase, but instead of Manberg being blown, Schlatt moved quickly to trap Tubbo and start a bit that would STOP WILBUR IN HIS TRACKS. The button was never fully pressed. Tubbo's Traitor/Spy Arc was halted, and a diverging plot formed, one where Tubbo is exiled too, trusted again by Pogtopia, and the land isn't blown to smithereens.
As Wilbur has said time and time again, when you introduce a weapon in a story, it has to go off at some point. Traitor Tubbo has been on our minds since the day he was left behind in Manberg and given a position, (once again, might I add, as a right hand man, a loyal lackey. Never the lead.) Has that arc met its completing? Did it go off with a bang?
One possible theory is that, well, no. This has all been premeditated. Not scripted fully, but I feel as though there are strings being pulled by a master who knows how to tell a story.
When he was asked to be a spy, Tubbo's position was nearly revealed time and time again but it was Schlatt who decided he was too bored to continue walking down the tunnels. It was Schlatt who easily accepted Tubbo's blatant lie that he was pregnant and allowed for so much betrayal under his nose.
What I'm saying here is that Schlatt is, in fanfic terms, soft for Tubbo. In a less fluffy way, what I'm suggesting (which has been suggested before) is that Tubbo wasn't a double agent. He was a triple agent.
I've read a lot of fucking books, and when you're a triple agent and one side is getting suspicious of you, what's the greatest length you can go to to prove your loyalty to someone? Die for them. Organize your execution. Throw yourself on top of a bomb.
But like I said. You don't die in Minecraft.
(While I'm on the subject, does anyone find it interesting how Tubbo focused on messaging only Wilbur while Technoblade was on stage, whispering 'i thought he woulded hurt me?' and the like. Wouldn't you, if you were being executed, contact your best friend to get you out of there? Or the clearly stalling 'ally' holding a crossbow to your head? But it wasn't Tommy or Techno that Tubbo needed to convince of his innocence. Its Wilbur who was sus of him.)
I digress. Tubbo didn't die, but he execution=exile and he's living full time with Pogtopia. He's proven his loyalty. When Tubbo is asked if he's a traitor, his best friend quickly jumps to his support and says, something to the effect of, "Schlatt killed him! He couldn't be a traitor!" Suspicion is thrown off him.
He wasn't even there when Dream revealed there was a traitor. He. Played. Dumb.
Meanwhile, streaming on his own, Tubbo is seeking out tridents and OP bows, working on Redstone traps, refusing to get netherite for Tommy, going so far as to trap his friend's house under the guise of a prank, and appearing in TeamSpeak calls to listen in while Tommy was mining gold with Dream (around the time Tommy was pressuring the green bastard to reveal who the traitor is.)
Tubbo has also been building a reputation as someone with bad wifi and a constantly crashing game, so he can conveniently leave situations and not help out when he doesn't wanna. Sidebar: I have to wonder if Tubbo will even stream the day of the war. Schlatt doesn't stream, and neither did the Dream Team when they were villains. It builds up tension and the audience wonders about their motivations. Granted, Eret did stream so his betrayal was a huge surprise, but recently Tubbo has, quite often, made a point of struggling with bad wifi and a game that seems to crash when he's not the one streaming. It wouldn't be too suspicious for him to claim technical difficulties so he can slide under the radar and not have snitches and stream snipers tracing his steps. This is a stretch, but it would be Big Brained to meta game the war.
I've watched a lot of Tubbo's streams lately. It's probably not healthy, and I'm probably connecting dots that aren't there.
But here is my prediction(s) for next week.
Dream said, jokingly, the traitor is Tommy. Despite Tommy's adamance, it may just be possible. He just doesn't know about it yet. Maybe Tubbo talks Tommy into betraying Wilbur. (Wilbur, specifically, and not necessarily their cause, which is not to be exiled and have a not-blown-up L'manberg.) Tommy has said he couldn't be the traitor because he wouldn't betray Tubbo (followed by "Wilbur, too...well...he is a little crazy lately" and you can hear Tubbo in the background making noises of agreement.)
But if betraying Tubbo was no longer a worry? I think, for Tubbo, and for the discs, Tommy would negotiate new terms with Dream. Another end to the war. Another peace treaty. Let's be real, once Tommy switches sides, Pogtopia will crumble. Him and Tubbo are the linchpins.
To continue, Dream supposedly has a contract with Schlatt, and in the stream today, he was leaving banners with a big red X on different properties, like in Tommy's house. Marking territory. He made a point of doing it while Tommy was streaming, following the kid around into the nether and giving shields with the giant red X to supposedly Pogtopian allies (Awesamdude, George.)
Wilbur told Quackity in the Dream Betrayal stream that he worries that Dream's deal with Schlatt is to rescind Manberg's independence. To give power back to Dream. To get Tommy's allyship, Dream may propose instating Tommy as president. Those are Wilbur's predictions. They're not far off the mark. Or maybe I'm just as paranoid as him lol.
I think Dream is trying to manipulate Tommy, but what will the terms be? Presidency? Or Freedom?
I'm not sure that Tommy wants to be president. He likes to play around and while he's shown he can be good at coordination and leadership, (for example, the recent MCC thing where he taught Quackity how to play and they kicked ass,) Wilbur is quite right. Tommy shouldn't be president. Narratively, we all know the server would become....chaos. Okay, that might be kind of fun and he's got good ideas.. I like the kid, and he's grown so much, but he's not "mature enough." Not like Tubbo is, according to Wilbur himself (this is referencing the Stays in The Pit battle). Dream has also said, in the eboy collaboration, that the only Dream SMP player in the video whose stood a chance was Tubbo.
Tubbo has said he doesn't want to be president either, but shit gets done when Tubbo is on. Nature is preserved, giant builds are coordinated, events planned (with cute little digital invites sent to players). The few times that Tubbo has shared his opinion about drama on the server (there's a moment before the Pit that he gives a good speech) he's shown sound logic, great empathy, a willingness to compromise, to have fun and strengthen their community.
There's an old saying, that those who seek power shouldn't have it, and those who don't want the power are the ones who deserve it. If peace wants to be preserved on the SMP, maybe Tubbo should be president, and Tommy should see what it's like to be the right hand man. Or maybe, they will simply run off to a distant jungle base and leave the war to the adults.
My point is, Tubbo is Chekov's gun. Tubbo is the button that hasn't been pushed yet. He may be the deciding factor to change the tide of the war, by changing Tommy's loyalties. Tubbo might not be fully loyal to Schlatt, I could be totally off about the triple agent thing, but he's certainly not loyal to Wilbur. To Dream? We'll have to see. From what we've been shown so far, his loyalty is to himself and to Tommy, and in the end, its usually him and Tommy against the world.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's fun to speculate. He's just a kid, a smart one granted, and he's having fun; he isn't evil. Unless Evil Tubbo is the next huge arc, the villain of Season 3???? God I would love that. Go feral kiddo.
There are other streamers who are equally over looked and unappreciated and have just as much motivation to be the traitor. Niki is a strong contender, have ya'll heard about the letter she wrote to a mysterious 'friend?' Or, or, what if Philza gets whitelisted? What if there's no shocking traitor at all, just Dream trying to cause division in Pogtopia? What if it's us, the viewers, who were the traitors all along for being dirty snitches? (@rainbowtransform, great theory.)
I'm sure I'll be surprised no matter what the outcome is. But nothing would please me more than to see Tubbo get the spotlight he deserves.
Let me know your thoughts?

I’m caught up on the Stand here r some opinions (OBVIOUSLY spoilers thru episode 6)
good:
Glen Bateman, Tom Cullen, Nick Andros, Larry Underwood casting/rewrites/adjustments
(Jovan Adepo deserves full credit for me not only tolerating Larry but actually liking him most of the time cause hoo boy I hated his guts in the book)(also!!! he played Teenager Michael Murphy in The Leftovers and it’s TRIPPING me out because he is OLDER than me and I never would have guessed it watching that show!!!)
(also it’s SO nice to see Brad Henke playing a teddy bear of a guy bc he is shaped like a friend but I’ve literally only ever seen him play absolute monsters)(I luv Tom Cullen)
dayna jurgens best character in the book best character in the series
I wasn’t sure about Owen Teague as Harold bc book Harold is overweight and pimply and kind of greasy and off-putting and Owen is skin and bones and good-looking but he projects creepy and sus very well. he is doing my boy Justice
speaking of, odessa young REALLY sells "girl stuck with a creepy guy who has an unrequited crush on her" like you can feel the discomfort and borderline contempt streaming from her pores
appreciated the rewrites of Rita to make her whole deal not horribly sexist and weird (same goes for most of the women tbh). Heather Graham did great
updating it to 2020ish works well. Glen vaping all the time = legendary
they did a good job of trimming and conflating some of the stuff so the story stays focused. things they cut MOSTLY weren't super important
alex skarsgård scissors stab neck smeared in blood sexy
J! K! Simmons! CAMEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
meh:
james marsden is fine (actually better than I expected in this) but he always fails to excite me. gary sinise in the OG miniseries was a better vibe for Stu and they should've gone for someone with more of the everyman energy. Marsden looks like a catalog model and doesn't seem to be able to bring an observable personality to his roles (sorry man)(on a more positive note this is why he was a perfect Scott Summers)
Whoopi Goldberg is a fine actress and apparently in contrast to a lot of critics I’m actually fine with her casting but mother abigail is SUPER under-used and way less developed than she should be-- we know literally nothing about her outside of her occasional appearance to scold and/or guide and that lack of personhood plays heavily into into the “magical negro” trope which. ugh. at least in the book she had a ton of backstory and family and stuff to do outside of “be the magical prophet for everybody else”
I love the whole Skarsgard family and am always happy to see one of them. that said, Alex lacks Randall's bouncy gleeful chaos energy and sheer malevolence. also he whispers all the time and I'm not sure what that choice is all about (no lbr that’s just an askars acting habit and outside of Eric from True Blood it’s not a great one)
bad:
not enough dayna screen time
pacing is weird and makes it really hard to get invested. starting at the free zone in Boulder and only jumping back to how they actually started/how they GOT to Boulder in pieces every episode feels really disruptive. not that it’s hard to keep track of, but it’s hard to really feel anything for anyone with such a disjointed narrative. the trip to Boulder is half the novel and it’s super important for establishing character dynamics, rivalries, motivations and personalities and if you meet these people mid-story after their arc is half finished and only get fragments of the VERY IMPORTANT ESTABLISHING STORY every now and again it feels like being robbed of setup and then payoff? idk. I hate it. I think they should have started at the beginning and gone thru chronologically, the story works way better that way
for that matter, playing all coy and mysterious with Randall and only showing Vegas for the first time in episode 5?? when the book has us there every step of the way? I don’t need a 1:1 adaptation but I do think following Vegas developments is super helpful re: understanding stakes and how much of a threat your enemy is, and with so little focus ON the enemy, it’s just not scary?
SPEAKING of Vegas what the actual hell. apologies for going “but in the book!!!” so many times but literally in the book Vegas would be a very appealing prospect for just about anyone. there’s electricity, there are supplies, there’s peace, there’s structure and organization. iirc Dayna is even tripped out on her recon mission because she makes friends with people and is struck by how normal and decent everyone seems? WELL this adaptation just threw that out the window and just went full fledged hedonistic sin bin full of just deeply unpleasant people that are more caricatures than characters. everyone there sucks turds. lacks any kind of depth. HUGE swing and a miss bc it hits so much better if you’re like “these are largely decent people lured in by the promise of stability, making moral compromises because they’re scared and trying to survive and Randall’s leadership is a huge temptation” vs “every single person here would roofie my drink and not feel a twinge of conscience about it”
every single choice made with regards to Nadine. badly miscast, robbed of the kickass witch’s streak aesthetic, set up as a consummate villain from the beginning (her constant struggles with her fate are totally omitted till it’s way too late for them to be in any way believable), relationship with Larry is basically nonexistent, and the planchette incident from her childhood is revealed much too early so it’s devoid of any real sense of horror (portrayed as a catalyst for lifelong villainy rather than a late-in-story revelation that she was set on a path against her will). done right she’s complicated and sympathetic at least until her complete heel-turn, in this series she’s just 2d and dull
randall beating bobby terry to death instead of ripping him apart with TEETH was a stupid change made to spite me personally. I mean can you IMAGINE how good that scene could have been

first: WAHHHHHHHHH 😭😭😭 I got so emotional!!! so emotional!!!! so much that I can’t even do this first second pattern bc I have SO MANY thoughts!!!!!!! I’m writing this in my notes instead of straight into the askbox so u know it’s serious business™
ok so debut night!!! I was like ahah yeah it’s a tragedy whatever it’ll be fun to start out with and then the voice acting was SO good that it knocked me out of the park and I almost cried haha. it’s crazy how good the voice acting in a3 is like I love how the dialogue and voice acting works well together bc like it’s limited but so effective!! u can so very clearly see and understand the style they’re going for. especially like tsumugi’s death scene... the Talent jumped out it really did... uh and ok so. I think I may be a littleeee confused abt the play bc I had always interpreted tasukus last lines as raphael to be like abt his being secretly in love with michael. but now that I’m actually reading the line that’s like oh don’t fall for a human it only ends in misery I know that all too well or whatever... ig the implication is that raphael was in love with another human / the same lady michael was in love with in the play. side note I had to go back and edit the proper names in instead of tasuku and tsumugi lol... but speaking of!! speaking of the voice acting and the play itself I 1) love how blatantly obvious it is when tsumugi goes for that grander, tasuku like style of delivery!! like u could just so easily feel the difference it was wild... and 2) tsuzuru is once again spot on with his writing, lol... I felt that like raphaels inability to save or help michael really parallels how tasuku feels abt tsumugi so well, and it’s wonderful that they r able to resolve things and tasuku can properly compliment him on his acting where the angels fail to do so. it’s very good. and I think the play rly highlights (for me at least) that like. to tasuku, it was tsumugi who was sort of an unreachable existence. like were he to idolize and respect someone’s acting, it would be tsumugi. and I think that like caring carries over into their roles really well, because I think in michael’s love for a human tasuku sees like... tsumugi’s style of acting. the heart that he’d lost while within the god troupe. mb I’m losing my mind a little but ah. the play rly works with their relationship so well!! im very excited to see the other winter ppl get main roles tho—same for all the troupes!!! now this ask is too long so I’ll have to do another part lol
going to start off this second part of the ask abt hisoka bc oh my GOD. hisoka. like I was just thinking “hm where r the winter troupe cgs anyways” and then BAM. hisoka CRYING???? especially since he doesn’t seem that emotional it was a really hard hit!!! and who tf is august.... ok well actually theory time!! skipping ahead to the end theres that note that like mentions December and April and. not to expose my friend but very many years ago (a couple years before a3 was launched, at the very least) she wrote this story where there were like 12 orphan assassins and they were all named after months. I remember the main dude was named dec lol. coupled with my “hisoka is capable of murder” bit? listen.... I’m not saying anything but I’m also not not saying anything if u feel me. also I feel like assassin / thief with mysterious background is a common trope!! that was silver from the pokémon adventures manga too... why is this my reference point lmao. anyways I’m unclear if assassins would make it into a3 but like.... if the yakuza and supernatural stuff makes it in...
okay moving away from conspiracy theories and into emotions!!! the quotes from like EVERY mankai actor before the final production made me SO emo... and yay!!! they won!!!! (though admittedly I almost had a heart attack when no one clapped) but they won!!!! that ending cg!!!! and I adore how sakyo immediately goes after god troupe man (I know his name is reni I just don’t feel like calling him that) for the money lol it’s just so sakyo-like. also I love the lil mixed troupe interactions!! I found the game night ch so fun.... ahh, now I wanna reread that ch since it was so good lol
all in all I was super satisfied ahh!! I am SO excited to start up spring troupe again (HELLO character development!!! and chikage) and I’m even MORE excited to get thru all the act 1 events!!!! as a final note, is there any way to reread or replay the flair conversations? I didn’t want any spoilers for the plays while I was doing the practices for them so I kinda sped thru the first time ahah...
HELLO FRIEND IM SO HAPPY TO GET SUCH A LENGHTY ASK ABOUT WINTER IM LKDJFLKDJFLKFD  Winter makes me feel shrimps emotions (i know the whole “shrimps can see more colors than humans can’t comprehend” thing has been disproved but i’m not letting go of that expression, i REALLY feel emotions humans can’t comprehend anymore and i’m going to make it everyone else’s problem)
1) First about the voice acting, rIGHT this is just so fascinating to me!!! I remember after act 2 i came back to reread the main act 1 chapter and i was so thrown out by how GOOD the voice acting was, especially for the first few troupes having to convince you they’re not comfortable or good at acting yet. Winter whole thing is that they’re more subtle and mature and you really feel that with their voice acting, Tsumugi’s voice especially knock it off the park anytime he’s on screen.
2) Second: what does it say about me that i’ve never, ever considered your reading a possibility because i was so set on “oh Raphael you’re in love with Michael sooooo bad you see it as a tragedy already because you can see him throw his life away” i didn’t even consider “maybe Raphael went through that too”. Though i guess if we’re going with that reading i can totally see “The Woman” they let themselves consumed by easily be a representation of acting or even more the God Troupe, with Raphael/Tasuku knowing to step away before it consumes him completely while Michael/Tsumugi, by his love and passion, pushed himself until he broke, which fits and it hurtsssss god Winter plays hits so hard.
3) Third: oh god yeah when Tsumugi goes for Tasuku’s acting it’s just. It makes me SO uncomfortable, i’ve experienced this scene like three times by now and the third time i was just “can i skip it i can’t go through this again i can’t Tsumugi i love you i can’t do this”. It doesn’t match the play at all and it just throws everyone off balance, and Tsumu you could have told theM YOU WANTED TO DO THAT.... god
4) Fourth: I LOVE YOUR READING SO MUCH I LOVE IT I LOVE IT YES YOU’RE RIGHT!!! Just as we follow Tsumugi let his passion consumes him until he breaks, Tasuku’s character arc really jumps out in Raphael, like, everything you say!!!  The way Tasuku/Raphael knew how the feelings Tsumugi/Michael felt would hurt him on the long run but he didn’t know what to do about it until it was too late, the regrets and the way Raphael voices his frustrations.... Tasuku struggles to be honest without acting (Tasuku pls i love you) but having such a role really help him expressing all he feels about Tsumugi and i’m HHHH this is so good so so good!!! but yeah i also love that Tasuku finally manages to actually compliment Tsumugi naturally, that he understands he can’t let him destroys himself again and it’s just gnhhhhh Tasuku is so kind and considerate and i care about him so much....!!!
5) Fifth: “i’m losing my mind a little” winter mood, winter mood winter mood- (though every troupe’s mood tbh but Winter is gnhhhhh kdhd hdhjf??? you feel me) (i am BIASED i can’t help it TwT) but yeaH i’m looking forward to see how you react to the others plays because the roller coaster juST BEGUN!!!
Onto part 2... Winter Troupe Chapter Feels... 2!
6) Sixth: DLFJDFKLDF HISOKAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE HIM SO MUCHHHHH. Hisoka crying fucked me up so bad!! so so bad!! Like on my first read i didn’t know what to think of him as he starts out very apathic to his troupe and then the more it goes on the more you can feel he starts to open up and i’m soft for this sort of slow burn, but then this whole scene happened and it HIT ME IN THE FACE, he was crying, i was crying, we were all crying, the Unopening Door opened a flood of emotions i can’t cope with. He sounds SO VULNERABLE during that scene and i know all of the Winter Troupe united on “taking care of him” but that’s really the moment i went “i care you and i will keep taking care of you” and look at me now. Thanks funky little scene for ruining my life. I’m glad you liked it i’m aldhjflkjdfkd Hisokaaaaa.....
7) Seventh: I am not commenting on the theory but 👀 that’s so highly specific your friend has a galaxy brain i love it. and i love the idea of “well we have yakuza and supernatural entity what’s an assassin adding himself to it” dLKFJDLKF i know everyone in Mankai calls Izumi out everytime someone joins but that’d be peak. I’m not going further about what December and August and April are all about but i love this plotline sO much, the few mentions of August when Hisoka regained his memories for a minute still haunts me, the guilt he seems to feel and this pain i’m just... godddd such a good set up. I love this plotline.
8) Eigth: EMOTIONS!!  Oh GOD YEAH THE ENDING WITH ALL THE OTHER ACTORS... I cried so hard it’s just. It really shows you it’s not just the culmination of the Winter chapter but of all the act 1 main plot and it really makes you feel how much of a journey you’ve been onto!! A3 is so good at showing you the growth of its characters that especially by the end of Winter you really saw how all of them grew in their respective chapters and how cozy they felt in their new home in the remaining chapters, and the fact this chap has those defining character arc’s lines really drive home “oh my god that was a journey” i love them sO MUCH....
9) Ninth: wE WOOOON!!! They’re all so good i just. i’m gonna cry just thinking about it dlfdjlfk i know like, the game has so many content so you know it can’t end at the end of Winter but the suspense really was there. BUT YEAH LMAO I LOVE SAKYO DOING THAT IMMEDIATLY, man sure has the eyes on the prize and we love him for that.  AND THE GAME NIGHT SCENE they are all sO CUTE and sWEET and they’re a family now and i’m hHHHHH i love a3 a normal healthy amount that isn’t just making me cry thinking about how all of them grew so close even through mixed troupes.
10) Tenth: I am SO happy you were satisfied with the plot so far!! I’m genuinely so happy that you decided to take that journey with us and that you shared all of this with me, and i’m so so happy you liked it!! There is still so much content and all of it is so worth it!
11) Eleventh: Yes!! The flair conversations are all readable on the Mini-Chat tab! So they’re easily accessible and they’re sorted in a way that’s easy to read so you can feel comfortable skipping the flairs if you want until you have seen the stories the flairs are all about. They’re all kinda set during the rehearsals (except for some crosstroupe conversation that wouldn’t make sense if they were like how the Summer Troupe talks with the Spring Troupe in their Flairs DKLFJDF but it’s okay what is a timeline anyway) so some of them are set pre-development and it’s wild to get back to them. I love rereading Flairs i get emotional everytime.
ANND That’s it for this ask! i had a blast reading through your thoughts and i’m so happy and excited!! i’ll send you the drive now so you can start digging through it whenever you feel like it :3c good luck grinding for act 2, meanwhile i hope you’ll have fun with all the act 1 events i compiled for you!!
(side note i need to update the drive too but it’s mostly act 2 content anyway, the only two act 1 things i need to update on it is Sakuya’s birthday card i think?? i think Itaru’s is already in act 2 so i’ll try to get around to it eventually but it’s so far away anyway) (edit: i forgot that the three cards i got for the latest revival are from act 1 DLKJFD okay so i’m missing three cards -)
The drive has backstages and event stories and it may be a lot and overwhelming ahah. Focus on the event stories for the plot and go back to the backstages whenever you feel like it, no need to read them at the same time, unless you want to in which case everything is set up for you :3c and there’s a file with cards that aren’t associated to events too so... lots of goodies hanging around. I’ll send it to you in DM ;O
Take care and thank you so much for all your thoughts! my inbox remains wide opened for any others thoughts you may have as you go further into it :3c

who do you hate more? theo or peter kdksks i love peter but feel free to drag him thru filthhhh
naaah next to theo peter is like a paper cut that won’t go away. but to get real, cuz i actually was thinking about this earlier, i think there’s a few main reasons i’m more likely to forgive a character like peter rather than theo (i need to think about it this way instead of like.. who would i rather murder... cuz otherwise i get lost in some dark shit).
okay so number 1: peter has a traumatic backstory that gives him a bit more depth to empathize with (just the visual flashbacks were already tenfold that of theo’s backstory, and emphasized over multiple seasons). not that theo doesn’t have a traumatic backstory or that peter wasn’t also responsible for the death of a young girl in his adolescence/young adulthood (idk how old he was supposed to be in 3x8 but he’s a few yrs older than derek right?) and the death of his own sister, but we don’t have enough information to conclude that theo was forced or coerced or brainwashed into killing his sister or anyone else. peter has always been a narcissistic and psychopathic character with plenty of layers and various motivations and goals. theo had one: destroy scott’s pack. why? who even the fuck knows. which leads me to
number 2: peter spent many seasons weaving his way in and out of scott’s pack. he tried very hard to kill scott, even worked with kate (just gonna throw in here that the argents were EXCELLENT villains, and i would even pick gerard over theo tho his voice is super irritating), but you know what? that was his PURPOSE. he was supposed to be the big bad throughout. that was season 4s big reveal before meredith. peter and scott had a fully formed arc that went up and down and ended on a high (even tho i would have preferred the stand off to be between peter and scott rather than gerard what kinda bullcrap was that season anyway), and i think we were better able to appreciate the complexity of their relationship. theo spent his whole season manipulating deceiving and eventually killing scott, and honestly the earth swallowing him up would have been the perfect way to end his story line. mason even told us in 6x20 that he still didn’t have good intentions. after all that he STILL couldn’t take someone’s pain. what was the point of him that whole season anyway. number 3: theo destroyed the relationship that meant the most to me on this entire show. his existence destroyed the sciles fandom and polarized every scott and stiles fan on this website. my favorite writers abandoned ship, rifts the size of chasms broke open between real friends, real people, and the writers never even tried to fix it (don’t give me that road trip heart to heart crap it was too little too late).
this wasn’t supposed to turn into a peter hale lovefest so please don’t read it that way i still hate that douche XD but i’d rather take him to lunch and massage his feet than look at theo for more than one second.
