I must ask what Yubel is doing in the gx rivalshipping canon???

What do they think abt Judai getting with Manjoume Jun of all people? Does Judai say anything to assuage their fears? What does he say??? I must knowwwwwwww

dfjkhfdkhfdjk very very understandable questions to have lol OKAY SO i briefly mention Yubel in my fic, but in general like- they're aware of Judai's feelings for Manjoume and vice versa and are cool with it.

I know that sounds blasphemous, but I personally have Yubel (the card spirit) and Judai (our protag) as platonic life partners considering their situation in general. They both love each other but aren't necessarily IN love with each other the same way their past lives were. They just support each other in their own special way, and part of that way is letting Yubel get to experience the world through Judai's eyes, and Yubel giving him the freedom of getting to choose who he wants to be with romantically.

So like yeah- of course it's super awkward at the start. Yubel remembers Manjoume (sorta) and has their reservations about Judai wanting to date him cause "you could...probably do better than this." but no. That idiot makes Judai smile and laugh and gives him a sense of comfort and admiration that no one else does. So Yubel accepts it with time. But still endlessly mocks Judai for it because "seriously, there's so many better choices- I would've accepted Johan!" "would you though" "...touché."

Even when Judai marries and they have Keisuke in their lives, he always makes sure Yubel is a part of his family and that they know how much he loves them too. And you know- it does help that Manjoume and Keisuke can see Yubel as well lol they're like an auncle for Keisuke sometimes. the kid's fun.

Post Gabriel defeat, I just can’t help but think how lovesquare will heal by each others’ side. Adrien would be super devastated and probably believe he has no worth in himself but Marinette will absolutely refuse to leave his side and will do practically anything and everything to help him heal. 

She would never abandon him and he would never abandon her but he’ll probably be like “You deserve someone who isn’t broken, who is stronger, who can love and protect you better than I ever could” and she’d kiss his sad pout away and be like “I don’t want anyone else. I only want you!”

The fact that even Queenie being in the state she was, Kinger still found humanity in her, the fact that he risked his life knowing she could go crazy and attack him just so he could touch her one last time.

And the fact that Queenie allowed him to do it, the fact that she was able to keep control as a abstracted just so she could feel him. Because she loved him and he loved her back and both of them knew her fate, but in that moment, it was just them, their last moment together so both made it work.

This is such a powerful image I want to hug both of them.
