I had a presentation today, and there's nothing (and I mean nothing) I hate more than those, so as a treat I made the rest of the day real cozy. Baked bread & listened to podcast while cleaning my apartment; good chill times

Btw this is a version of kiawren I have fun thinking about, where Kiawe used to date Ilima (or it was sorta a no labels thing but pretty much a relationship) and they broke up and are on awkward terms. I mean Ilima lives on a whole other island. But maybe they dated right before Ilima left to study in Kalos for a semester. But will slip in abstract and poetic things that crossed their mind then play it off humourously #And that. Just. intrigues him #il.ima's dignified manners make it hard to penetrate a certain politeness and talk to him more candidly #But with Wren he can also speak at ease and lightheartedly #And then well. He realises he's into people that think in artistic ways #But sometimes they seem a bit too intellectual but he's not the best at communicating on that level #But wren is also kinda awkward about it... and would explain to ki.awe or tell him he's not missing out on anything becuz their thoughts ar #also really jumbled- and ki.awe just says it's ok i want to hear what you have to say #So... yeah they like to talk and listen to each other :)

Finished up Kaneshiro's palace and overall it's really solid in terms of gameplay and design. Love the money littered all over the place, the guard designs (liked the detail of their masks looking bug like its a nice bit of foreshadowing) and ofc the music. I think the last puzzle is fun but it drags a little at the end tbh (but that could be because I did the palace in one day so)

#the royal experience #<- this is the tentative title lmao i think its kinda funny #i think i prefer it slightly to the previous two #madarame's is the coolest aesthetic and kamoshida's has the best story and build up around it #but i think this one strikes a good balance #i would say a solid 8/10 #y'all are lucky im not a designer at atlus i would have added more maths to that last puzzle 💀💀💀#nothing too crazy ofc but i would have liked a bit of more a challenge 💀#i think a personal critic i have with this game is that the dungeons are kinda lackluster in terms of puzzles #<- its the zleda fan in me LMAO
