jeremy-neil mutual dislike (or at least mistrust) makes even MORE sense after tgr because they are both liars. neil josten was a carefully constructed persona who slowly became real; jeremy knox was a real boy who crafted himself into a persona. neil has spent his life running and clings to the first home he finds; jeremy has spent his life trapped and is not allowed to stay in the place that feels like home to him. neil has always been ready to run; jeremy has always stayed. neil’s smiles come out sharp and dangerous, they are always honest and rarely purposeful, but when they are he knows the effect they have on people; jeremy’s smiles are often calculated, they are a bit too big to be believably sincere if you know him, and they are bright and shining and so tired. neil knew there was a price on his head if he resisted and refused to give in, jeremy is self-destructive because there is a weight on his shoulders. i think they recognize pieces of themselves in each other and immediately feel unable to trust that (especially when it comes to something they care about as much as jean’s healing).

Apparently I have more to add to this.

Because this scene came to me in like vision style that I can never draw.

This scene is lit warmly. And it has to be in the kitchen, in the dining room. There's the dim glow of the overhanging light( one of those half spheres ones) but it's also lit by the warm street light filtering in through the window. The window is big and sits over the sink and along the window sill are plants, creeping vines along the sides and Money plant that is getting too big and needs to be trimmed. The sink as mentioned is empty, silver, slightly dirty but it is glowing golden. The kitchen is slightly warm, but since the windows are open, the slight breeze is cooling it all down. The stoves are dirty, covered in oil splatters and bits of pasta sauce. The pot in which they mixed the sauce and the pasta still has bits of pasta and the pasta sauce pan is almost scraped clean. Yuuji's plate is still on the dining table and Sukuna's chair has a plate of pasta server in front of it. But it's empty. The dining table isn't big but it fits four people. It's covered by a soft table cloth of dark blue. The table and matching chair are dark wood.

The refrigerator is a dull yellow but it's littered with art and test papers and photo and recipes. The cabinets are all wooden and look all banged up, clearly used all the time.

Nanami and Gojo sit across each other, hands intertwined, held gently in between them. Both of their eyes are filled with tears and they look at each other with fondness and grief and love, So much love!!! Nanami wears a worn grey sweater over a soft yellow shirt, the collars peek out. His hair is pitch black, freshly dyed. His eyes are a stormy blue, since his contacts are out. He doesn't wear his glasses either. He looks tired, eyes bags under his eyes but there's smile lines added to his face and a few creases on his forehead from scrunching his face in disapproval at his children. He's tanner, spending alot of time with his kid outdoors when he can. Gojo looks as he always does. He wears the Jujutsu tech uniform and his hair is still a ple white and his eyes a bright blue. His eyes look slightly sunken and his skin paler but he still looks like he always does. But Nanami can tell he's not been sleeping well. He hasn't been either, the bed cold without his partner.

Only the sound of wind chimes outside the window and the clock ticking fills the room.

They both love each other. They both want to cry. And both of them know it.

Currently thinking about the scene in my fic where Nanami and Gojo are sitting in the dimly lit dining table, holding each other hands. Gojo is looking at Nanami and admiring how beautiful he looks but also trying not to cry over how much his lover has changed and grown and he wasn't there to see it. How Nanami's also admiring Gojo and how he is the same as he had left him-perfect. His guilt over leaving someone he said he would stay with forever. And despite starting out as only Yuuji and him, Nanami always had a dining table that could fit four. That the fridge was covered in sketches Sukuna had done, Yuuji's best tests, pictures, Nanami's recipes but nothing of Gojo's. The sink is empty, the pot where Yuuji and Gojo just made pasta is still on the stove. The window is ajar and there's cool wind coming in through it. They both have tears in their eyes. They love each other so much. They both know that.

Hello ! I positively adore the running joke of Idia unknowingly finding Lilia to be the coolest guy ever whenever he doesn't know it's him, like when Silver described his father, or obviously with muscle red. I can't say what'd be funnier, Idia finding out his online best friend is actually Lilia, resident spooky hyper fairy; or them both never finding out, and it'd become even more ridiculous as time goes on. How do you think it'll play out ? You're always so on point

(Also, though it makes sense, I'm still devastated bat boy didn't get a ticket for the Halloween skeleton train : ( does anyone mentions him at some point ? Like how he'd have fit right in with all those Halloween town little freaks, and how he'd have impressed them with his spooks and scared techniques; after all he's been every Briar Valley's children worst fear on Halloween for centuries. I'm on the eng server and I didn't wanna spoil myself by watching the whole thing on youtube)

you and me both, Idia and Lilia being oblivious online BFFs (+ Idia being incredibly intimidated any time Silver brings up his jock gamer dad) is my favorite running joke/subplot. 🤝 it's SO good, to the point where I also am unsure if I actually want it to ever be resolved or not...maybe, like, as a post-canon stinger or something? everyone's standing around covered in overblot ink, and Idia and Lilia's phones go off at the same time...

(legit I do think this is part of why Idia couldn't be present for Lilia's dream, because for some reason Lilia decided he was going to just. embody his past self online. he probably quotes his own battle strategies or whatever in the middle of boss fights. Idia didn't pick up on the whole "oh how weird that we both live on a super remote island" thing, but he would spend thirty seconds listening to General Lilia describing siege warfare and be like "w-wait")

all that aside, however it does end up happening, I do see Lilia being very blasé and all "oh! cool!" about it. y'know, taking it very much in stride! and Idia...very much not.

as for Lilia sadly missing out on Halloweentown shenanigans...he does get one little mention as part of an offhand reference to the light music club, but so far no one has brought up how this basically is just Lost In the Book of Liliatown (Sebek's been too busy yelling about not getting to be in the same group as Malleus). 😔 honestly though, it's probably for the best that he got left out, because he would just settle right in and refuse to ever leave. canon would shatter. we would miss out on all the delightful angst of episode 7 because Lilia is too busy eating poisonous shrubbery inbetween practicing his very best screams, and no one can pull him away from it.

(I can hope for a sequel next year though...)

Yeah so just saying what I think on this matter, for me Sirius and Regulus were both KIDS broken by their parents and they hurt each other really bad, but none of them is the 'bad person' they both did mistakes and sure Sirius left Regulus but Reg also stopped talking to him because he was afraid of being rejected by his family and really the story has two sides and it's important to remember BOTH of them. Also I feel like Sirius is often seen as someone immature who doesn't think about others when he does something and this is very wrong, this boy had to grow up too soon and he probably has so much insecurities, stop depicting him as someone who doesn't care/doesn't think about others feelings he really does more than about his own feelings.

i think what's frustrating about the whole "villainizing Sirius because he left Regulus behind" thing is that I think most of the fandom agrees with you in broad strokes and will reblog it and say how terrible it is but then continue to like... do it??? saying something like "regulus gave up his life for sirius" IS doing that, writing a text post about how "thinking about how regulus took the dark mark and sirius didn't have to" IS doing that, "hogwarts was the first day sirius left him but not the last :(", "omg barty and evan totally hate sirius and yell at him and are so mean to him while he cries because he left regulus" au, jegulus fic where james yells at sirius because sirius ran away from home, jegulus fic where sirius endlessly apologizes and regulus never ever questions his complicated feelings or grows or comes to a realization that sirius had a right to leave that house, black brothers angst hits so good :( and it's just an endless tiktok pov where everyone basically shits on sirius for running away, endless comments on endless fics saying how could sirius leave reg, he was just a child, sirius was such a bad brother, forgetting that sirius was a child too. it's really disheartening to me that so many people adopt this belief almost subconciously that no sirius running away wasn't bad uwu in abstract but actually wait no it was and he needs to atone for it and we are going to make other characters hate him for it. like... idk, it's just disheartening to see/

I HC Scarletella is smart enough to figure out MC's language and I'm currently brainrotting over an AU wherein he attempts to adapt a normal, human life. As normal as he can pretend to be, though, while getting closer to you. MC is a completely unassuming person by day and a serial killer by night who is freaked out by this random tall and mute redhead suddenly appearing in the oddest places.
