translation: "the end" i've made it!! i've finished kcd1 just now! 110 hours of pure bliss and insanity LMAO it's the best gaming experience perhaps in my entire life. i already miss it, i miss the peaceful days of skalitz, i miss theresa, i miss hans, i miss godwin and ulrich (ulrich!!!! my granddad!!!!) and pretty much everyone. even though i've already got kcd2 on pc waiting for me. but no, i'll get a 2-3 days break (and it'll take 2-3 days for Hans and Henry to get to Trosky!! so it's quite immersive haha). i just need to take my time and just to process the story. maybe do some fanarts, too.

suprisingly enough, i imagined henry's character development and hansry relationships BEFORE playing kcd1 in pretty much the same way. and the things that i expressed in my fanart wouldn't change much if i played kcd before drawing and plunging deep into the fandom. maybe it's because i read A LOT about the story and researched wiki before actually getting to gaming experience. maybe i read too much tumblr posts about the game lmao. idk. it just feels right, and almost everything that i imagined about this story hit me just right. it feels so cool and so perfect. ahh. truly, the best gaming experience in my life. maybe cyberpunk2077 is close to that level of my personal ~perfection~. this story is beautiful. henry's tragedy does SOMETHING to me.

GUYS i think i'm 70 hours into kcd1 now. i'm now in a monastery AND I LOVE THIS AREA AND THESE QUESTS SOOOOOOOO MUCH

i don't even rush!! this questline is so immersive and i just live in this god forsaken monastery as henry and i suffer just as henry does and i undersleep just as henry does and i can almost smell these monastery candles or idk

i'm so Normal about kcd ❤️❤️❤️

1 - sir ulrich of passau. underappreciated character!!! my headcanon is that henry was lowkey his apprentice and they traveled together and fought side by side throughout almost all the events of kcd1. cause i WON'T believe the fact that henry learned the art of swordsmanship in just a couple of weeks / in a month / in two months or somethin like that. i CAN'T believe this. he couldn't be solo in all this. he couldn't defeat all those enemies who have been learning these skills for several years IF NOT FROM THEIR CHILDHOOD or adolescence. i can't believe in henry-the-marty-sue. he needs a backup in his very risky and dangerous and fatal fights. he needs a role model. he needs ✨sir ulrich✨ and this is my protest. i'm so normal about them and their tired grandfather - stupid grandson dynamic.

so hey guys!! kcd hyperfixation update so umm remember my previous post? about HOW MUCH i avoid playing kcd / kcd2 in order not to get a severe hyperfixation? haha.. hehe.. ha.. hhh.. so umm i'm 60 hours into kcd. i eventually got in a +- pretty severe hyperfixation (it's not that bad as i thought it'd be, but it still results in me neglecting my studying COMPLETELY, uhh uhhhhh not texting and/or replying to my friends and relatives anymore, neglecting some of the household tasks and stuggling with routine) BUT BUT but. i'm having such a good time. goddamn, i enjoy this game so much. i ADORE henry's growth. i hate&love the combat and i'm getting pretty good at it. i soak henry's character development. i breathe his aspiration to vengeance. before my walkthrough, i imagined henry (as a character) in the pretty same way, so not many things changed in my perception of the story and in his reflection in my arts. so i'll try to stay sane as much as possible! looking forward to completing kcd and getting back to my life lol lmao lol.. still, despite my questionably successful experience, i still validate people choosing not to play kcd/kcd2 for whatever reasons and to still create arts&crafts about this story. hey, guys, i encourage you to do so. choose yourself first, not the fandom's voice which is sometimes inacceptable of those folks who didn't come to know the source material for whatever reasons. let it burn in flames. create, create, create. find your own purposes, enjoy it. plus, there are many other ways to get to know this game without playing it. so FOR EVERYONE i kinda suggest perceiving it like this: fanfiction = funfiction fandom = fundom fanarts = funarts

tribute to Yanka Dyagileva. she was a unique soviet singer & songwriter & poet at the heart of underground siberian punk movement. she died on the 9th of may in the age of 24 found in the Inya river. she is thought to have taken her life away as the result of a severe depressive episode and numerous tragic events that had happened to her.

..her songs speak to me in an absolutely special way and she she she- she has such a special place in my heart and her songs are so dear to me and my heart will always ache for her and for her pain and for her losses and and i cannot express how much i love her. oh, yanka.
