[18 May 2022] after playing the game, i have gained the great misfortune of having Ren haunt my every waking moment. i simply saw pink boy on itch.io and thought "wowie" and then proceeded to cry when i found out that he actually looks like an e-boy and all I could think was "WOWOW HE SO NICE TO LOOK AT AYO???? 😳😳" either way, i actually wanted to ask if Ren could dance? and if so, does he have any preference? that and even if he couldn't, is he okay with MC just randomly grabbing him to dance with them in the apartment because they just like bonding with him like that? (honestly speaking all thoughts i have of this e-boy dweebus are domestic fluff bits, so while he has questionable hobbies, i would like for him to know he's lovely and that i wanna hold him gently like hamborgor 😔)

Do we have some hint about Mithrun and Kabru as partners (to lovers or smth, anytime). I know it's hard because of Mithrun and his lack of desire… but… I read all and the extras but I can't not see maybe they would be a cool couple (more than they were on the dungeon)

I am being tempted..... I must stay strong and maintain my I don't talk about ships stance. (My one advice is that you don't need canon evidence to ship)

But speaking of canon partnership I think Mithrun and Kabru worked well in the week they had to stay as a duo, although it had lots of bumps along the way they managed to survive a lot that Laios party (with 3 people more) had trouble with.

I think it speaks a lot to how strong Mithrun is, but if Kabru wasn't so observant and caring Mithrun probably wouldn't have survived so well with his glossy hair.

Also, although Mithrun is described as having no desires we know it's possible to create new desires and Mithrun shows preferences in his own way even during the time he's in the dungeon, like how he tries to reason with the dungeon lords before going to harsher means or how he doesn't let Kabru hand feed him, so although forming meaningful relationships might be hard for him I don't think it's that much of an impossibility.

I'm working at the office today (home office I miss u...) so I don't have my supply of neatly organized dunmeshi chapters to add screenshots here but you can always reread chapter 61 and 62 to see them working together.

My bud here asked a very important question: why Tobias stole a very sacred and important book?

The short answer is: because Tobias has a curse and he wanted to find a cure.

OMG HOW- calm down, first things first.

As I said before, when Alex and Elisa started to take their relationship more seriously, Alex would hang out in the Colony using a shrinking potion and preteding to be an imp. He was well accepted as one by Elisa's fellow imps and fairies and they never had many problems with his disguise.

But there was this one, powerful, envy fairy who took notice that something about Alex was... off.

She started to do her own investigations and ended up finding the truth out: Alex was no imp, but a human in disguise. Although, to her, this was actually very good news.

Why? Because this fairy - Irwalia - comes from a family that has been preaching an ancient propecy over a century now. Said prophecy omens that, one day, a being with the strongest of souls - a fairy soul - and the strongest of bodies - a human body - would be born to free the Colony from it's decades of war.

There are a lot of fairy families that preach this prophecy till this day, but all of them are taken as delusionals by most of the Colony's inhabitants. It's impossible to have a being that has a different soul from it's body, it just can't happen. But they hold onto their beliefs firmly regardless.

When Irwalia learned the truth about Alex, she couldn't help but be ecstatic: she had finally found a human inside the Colony's walls. And, if SHE was the one who discovered him first, then she must be the one meant to give birth to this prophetic child… right?

In a vengeful and spiteful spirit, Irwalia decided to not report Alex to the Colony's authorities, but instead take her anger out on what the human and his imp wife treasured the most: their only child.

Alex and Elisa didn't took long to find Toby, afterall she wanted to take her revenge in front of them...

Irwalia cursed Toby with something that not only breaked Alex's heart, but made the child defenseless if he ever encountered a human: if in close proximity to a human, Toby is completely unable to do any kind of magic.

This may not sound like a big deal, but imps, especially imp borrowers, take great advantage from their magic abilities to protect themselves from the sight of humans and their malicious intents. And, of course, Toby would never be able to obtain his full magic potential (which he has a lot of) around his own father.

Aside from all that, his hair is now bright blue, a side effect of the curse that makes it difficult for him to hide from humans and dangerous animals.

Toby grew up not being allowed to leave the Colony EVER because of his curse. So when he became an adult, after getting involved in a lot of trouble inside the Colony, being the little thief and vagabond that he is, he thought-

Unfortunately, he never had the chance to actually seek a cure for his curse in the book because he was discovered for his theft before that, yeah, it was all kind of pointless, he truly sucks at hiding.

Huh, I also wonder why it worked...

14 crush is so off base that i think itd be like a different plot entirely if it actually reflected canon. that's why around when splatoon 3 was getting close to launch, i could see the signs, and i was like. Ok crush is in stasis forever so i dont have to change anything about it no matter what happens HAHAH

i have different agent OCs these days that arent as bound to a specific story so they can be a little more flexible with canon. also they're just more in line with the kinds of OCs i make now compared to when i was a teenager ... i talk about them on main sometimes you might see em around. these ones have actual names!! crazy

How would Ren/REDACTED react to MC falling in love with someone else and chosing to date them?

Would he get jealous but eventually accept it and let us go or would he ruin MC's relationship with that person or even kill them?

✦゜ANSWERED: Since Ren is a yandere, I think his reactions would be what most people expect ;v; He would definitely get envious over the fact that someone managed to capture Angel's attention before him, and I'm sure he'd purposefully find a way to remove their partner and get Angel to prioritise him instead.

He'd certainly get jealous as well since that person is still currently in a relationship with Angel (as opposed to them breaking up and leaving Ren with a chance), but I don't really want to go into detail about this as it's bound to happen in the game at some point and I wouldn't want to spoil anything ^^;

But you can always reference the current behaviour he displays in the demo (or some of the other posts on this blog)!!
