It feels like getting pulled underwater—the sharp sideways tug, the slight drag of resistance, then falling, falling, till the waves close over his head. But Logan can breathe when he rights himself again, even if the light has a watery filter to it and the voices have a distant echo.
//
Sometimes Logan gets a glimpse of guys who've been long gone from the teal, clustered at the far end of the bench or sitting in the box across the ice. He heard Jason's voice in the hallway loud and clear, that infectious laugh. And he could have sworn he saw Raffi fucking Torres getting out of a car in the players' lot. Something tells him not to look up the rosters.
Commissioned @impmakesart to make a painting based on the Sharks' Cali Fin hype reel + the flip side by frausorge. Imp was amazing to work with and I could not be more emotional about this piece and so, so pleased with how it turned out!! 🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️ Commission him here. Thank you Imp!

What app/brushes do you use to draw and how big are your canvases?
I use Photoshop and usually draw with basic hard and soft round brushes, but lately I've been using texture brushes that I've made myself. I also have some of Devin Elle Kurtz brushes that are available for free on Gumroad.
The canvas size is usually A3 size (3508 x 4961 pixels). Though as I work, I change the format by cropping or adding space, so 2500px is the minimum, and 10000px is the maximum.
Resolution is 300 dpi.

[ID: 2 digital drawings of a spider-sona character - the same piece is shown in 2 different palettes. They have a medium build and are wearing a spider-man esque body suit, but with a loose sleeveless shirt, shorts, and a black net/lace cloak over the top. They're posed mid-motion, one arm up and one down as they pull out a length of web between their fingers, which is attached to some kind of spherical device fixed to one wrist. Behind them is a swirl of purples and pinks. The first palette is mostly monochrome grey, black and white with a few red accents, while the second is mostly red and black with orange accents. End ID.]

I finally made one o those funny spidersonas :> Their name is weaver and they specialise in spinning different kinds of webs for different purposes!

Since I stopped regularly posting my art online it's nuts the psyche reset my art brain went through. Ego death of whatever deviantart mentality. I'm back to drawing w markers bc it's fun, baby. Making my weird little things and breaking crafts bc it's not always an unusable result lol. Waiting to get back to my 12yr old mary sue generator brain, it's the next step to making more things I enjoy making

A R G U S — Soldier ▪ Son of Bel ▪ Neutral Good ▪ Oath of Vengeance Paladin of Bahamut
"Raphael, Mizora — you're different from the devils we've met on our journey thus far. You seem so much more... mortal, like the rest of us. Like a simple tiefling rather than the spawn of Bel."
"My Lord Bahamut's influence no doubt. Once, there was little difference between myself and my infernal family. But... enduring what I endured at the hands of The Many-Mawed bitch and her lackeys, I suppose it changed me. It made a fiend beg for intervention from the divine. And, so, here I am."
"Is that... how you lost your wings?"
"Yes. Yet another thing Tiamat stole from me."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It's been... a very long time since I've flown. I doubt I would remember how, even if my wings were to be restored. And besides, who needs wings when you have a wizard with Fly in his spellbook?"
