I hate the stretch lines in the front of Curly's uniform because that means the devs rushed to make a model in like a month or so and thought "They gotta at least know he has huge knockers, gotta know he's got back pain." Cause like what is the thematic importance of his tits having overhang?

What responsibility is that representing? Breast reduction? It shows an inherent greed in his character due to the excess and heshouldletmeholdone and that he clearly is blinded cause if he tries to look down his damn ladder all he's seeing is his own cleavage.

#i pirated that shit Btw just so we're clear. also gonna talk about it a little bit in the tags #nothing too spoilery but also might not wanna read if you want to go in knowing absolutely nothing? idk #anyway he WAS a main character still he was present for a decent amount of the first couple episodes #but the amount of screentime he gets just starts dropping after that . hes barely there at all in the second half ???#and it feels like theres a lot of scenes mostly focusing on wade and his problems and not near as many for knuckles and his whole deal #overall it feels more like a wade show with knuckles in it than a knuckles show with wade in it. which sucks #and human characters having plot relevance isnt the problem here i dont mind human characters at all i think they can be really fun #its the fact that the human characters are taking over the story and spotlight when the show is called knuckles #and all the marketing makes it look like knuckles is the main focus #and i also would have preferred if they just went with a differnet character to be knuckles' human friend #because i dont particulraly care about wade. and the knuckles (and sonic and tails) i know would not be friends with cops </3 #well at least the story wasnt knuckles training wade to be a better cop like a lot of people were expecting but thats like.the bare minimum #also aside from the issues relating to knuckles' screentime (or lack of screentime) i thought the ending was unsatisfying #regardless of all that though there WERE some parts i enjoyed or found kind of funny or whatever. because knuckles so cutesy as always #knuckles being a cute little guy is the most important part of the show actually #and i liked the parts with sonic tails and maddie even if they were only there for like 5 minutes #(i really wish those three had gotten more screentime. i feel like they could have easily worked in at least one more scene with them)#and its a minor thing but the opening sequence is cute. was honestly expecting just a title card or something #overall the show is just . kind of okay i guess. not the worst thing ive ever seen but still disappointing ? idk how to explain..#my expectations also werent very high in the first place #so maybe im being a bit more generous than i would have been otherwise. idk #and i definitely would not recommend this to anyone who already dislikes the sonic movies . youll probably hate this more #like people who thought the human characters got too much screentime in the second movie would lose their minds if they saw this

Ngl CBBC's Extreme School was really a better take on helping troubled kids then Worlds Strictest Parents.

#AGAIN i know some of the strict parents were good and did actually help the kids #but a large majority of the strict parents were just looking for power trips and i think the episode with the son of the strict parents #who would go on to marry into the duggar family is a case of child endangerment because who the fuck films the strict dad #staring creepily at the troubeld girl while shaming her for her outfit choices and calling her a temptress and doesnt intervene???#plus theres an episode where uh the parents actually do physically abuse their kids #with ironically the troubled boy being the valid one in the simple point: 'you dont hit kids'#plus...alot of the kids werent that bad it was just clearly stuff being taken to the extreme by the adults around them #versus extreme school for its short stint showing the kids actually do need help as they messing up their education slowly #and therefore their futures and unlike worlds strictest parents the kids here do seem willing to go to to the extreme school #versus worlds strictest parents where...you can tell it was the adults around the troubled kids wanting them on the show #and the extreme schools actually dont go too far like worlds strictest parents do #let alone seem to have a better success rate then worlds strictest parents #also fun fact this is the one childhood show of cbbc that i can find episodes off????#fucking hell dont try to find i want my own room its missing for life this rate with only three epsiodes on youtube rn #12 again??? lucky to find a handful of episodes i feel like #and i feel insane trying to find totally rubbish

#i havent grown a whole bunch since middle school and. yknow i have a theory that it might be because ive had what could be classified as an #eating disorder all four years of hs and my freshman year of college?#like its permanently affected my metabolism but yknow malnutrition can also stunt growth so theres a theory that i fucked myself up a bit w #that one and thats why im shorter than all my immediate family by a significant amount #a bit beyond just natural variation . since all three of them are ~6 ft and im 5’7 on a good day #but also trying alcohol or weed when youre in your late teens shouldnt have a lasting impact i think. you should be allowed to mess around #a bit without it being bad for you #sev rambles

I've kinda seen some pushback to the idea of representation in media and I don't necessarily think it's bad to point out actual rights are more important than Disney's thousandth first gay character that's fine, but I've had a LOT of people comment on my works about asexual characters and tell me what I wrote changed their life-and it's always that phrase- because they now have the language to describe what they feel. I've had people who ARENT ace or aro comment that what I wrote finally made a concept they didn't understand make sense, or that the way I explained things was interesting and enlightening and I'm kind of a mediocre writer who hasn't written anything in ages.

Like idk, if reading something from a writer who is fucking around and only somewhat talented can genuinely impact someone because they've not seen anything like them reflected back at them in life or media I don't think pushing for representation in media is as "needless" as some people seem to think and caring about that doesn't mean you don't care about more "important" (although if you think seeing people like you in media ISNT important it's because you already have that representation or are privileged enough to not care if you do, in which case maybe pipe down) stuff. Hell, I even got a Facebook message ages ago from someone who found a comment I left in an ace group about QPR's and what they meant to me and how I perceived them and the person no joke said what I wrote two years before they even found it changed their life forever because they finally knew what kind of relationship they actually wanted.

So like sure, of course there's always bigger fish to fry them diversity in media (you know, like diversity in real life lol) but I don't think it's as frivolous as some people are beginning to act like it is. At least not if you're an aspec person it's not, I STILL don't see ace characters almost ever and I'll bet my whole everything if I asked a writer of a show why they'd tell me that EVERYONE has to be in a sexual relationship and characters that aren't won't sell and are boring- I say this because in film school I had a teacher TELL ME every character needed to basically be sex obsessed and when I pointed out a GREAT MANY CHARACTERS are not revolved around sex (Supernatural stars two brothers, I pointed out) and when she asked if I had love interests I was like ??? That doesn't matter- using my aforementioned supernatural example almost all their love interests die or get mind wiped because at the end of the day that's not what the story was about. So actually I think writers who act like that teacher need like 50 reality checks, and representation in stories isn't unimportant and also support indie writers you'll probably find more funky shit there then Disney anyway lmao.

And also even the asexual characters I DO see in media don't remind me at all of myself even if I appreciate the effort, but they never feel real or genuine and their sexuality doesn't get a lot of exploration so 🤷🏻‍♀️ I actually could use more media focused on characters that I can genuinely see my sexuality reflected in in a meaningful and narratively impactful way because I've got nothing.

Decided to do with my anxiety what I did with my body dysmorphia ages ago which is to beat it with the affirmation stick until it eventually becomes a central part of my belief system. #no its not ur gonna read the tags and find out exactly why i hate them #because i get these for free because of my school or whatever right so i have to use them for my classes #and as a film major #i use these A LOT #and i am in THREE production courses this semester (two is the most ppl usually take at once but i decided to make my life hard)#so as u can imagine i have a LOT of projects to do that require premiere and audition (the video and audio editing suites from adobe)#AND EVERY FUCKING TIME #i always end up with half of my footage mysteriously disappearing EVEN THOUGH i triple save everything and make sure its all there-#-before i close the program SO LET ME KNOW HOW WHEN IM POSITIVE MY SHITS RIGHT HALF OF IT IS GONE THE NEXT DAY. HOW. HOW DOES IT HAPPEN.#it also just decides to like ruin al my projects right #so today for example #i wanted to add some reverb to an audio track right nothing major literally so simple #and i go to hit apply #AND AUDITION JUST ??? REMOVES ALL OF THE SOUND ALL TOGETHER???? WHAT????#i was so lost #i saved my project and went to submit it and ONCE AGAIN it is soundless but it says an audio is playing but theres nothing #so i go back to audition and everything fine!#i double check how i saved i looked up the proper save procedure just in case i did something to just not save the audio #which again- how can i possibly save a SILENT AUDIO FILE like thats literally just a file of nothing #so i decide fuck it its 3 am and im tired im just gonne record the finished audio file in my VOICE RECORDING APP ON MY PHONE just in case #if i have to whip out my phone during class to present this im actually gonna stand in front of a stampede of bulls

#meanwhile everyone where i live would be happily vibing #we set our ac to 22 or 23°C because its cool to us lolol. we also have around 80-90% humidity so please take the heat. literally.#it would. i still laugh at the fact that nasa converted a measurement wrong (empirical fo metric) which caused them to lose an-#unmanned spaceship. they also hold the record of the most expensive hyphen because they coded wrong lmaoooo #rip mariner 1 though. still funny that they lost $80 mil because of a mistyped hyphen #i could not wear a winter jacket in 96°F 💀#ill wear a light jacket and jeans in -6°C (20°F) weather though. my middle school had a policy that no students-#were allowed inside the building until start time unless the temp was below -9°C (15°F) or raining/snowing #i tend to get colder around 17°C (63°F) than i do at 4°C (40°F) so that i can understand #where im at theres no shade outside unless youre under a tree because the tallest building in the village is three stories lol #anyone who works outside always carries sunscreen because of that #i dont burn easy though. i have to be outside for about 9 hours straight and that body part has to constantly face the sun to #meanwhioe i know people whod get burned as theyre putting up their curtains lol #cooking heat is good though i love it. i love being cold but close to heat from blankets or cooking. once in an apartment with roommates-#i found out that a certain part of the floor was heated so id get my blankets in the early morning (0450) and take a nap before heading to-#work at 0515 yeah my roommates tripped over me a lot but the naps were so worth it even caught one sleeping there after she felt the warmt

I'm in the middle of a knitting project right fucking now, and I'm already looking at other projects to do. I'm not even close to finishing the current project and I'm looking at like three others. It's a real problem

#so the thing is i really like to knit as gifts (the project im on right now is a christmas gift for my sibling)#so i like to think of knitting projects i could do as gifts for upcoming holidays and such #but also i like cool things #so im looking at this bat cape for myself #i dont even have an occasion to wear a cape. and even crazier-#im trying to figure out how to make my own patterns. so i can knit a tapestry/blanket thing. of a fictional map from a ttrpg #im playing a ttrpg rn and i have become obsessed #and im painting the map onto a clipboard (it takes place at a summer camp and summer camp map on a clipboard makes sense)#but apparently thats not enough for me. because i want it as a full tapestry or blanket #but because it was created in my girlfriend's head (shes the gm) it doesnt exist as a pattern online #so i have to figure out how to make it come to life #thats way beyond my skillset. ive been knitting since 2019 and i only figured out the purl stitch in the last like year #i recently learned double knitting which has been fun. and thats as complex as my knitting knowledge gets #i knitted a nice shawl once. that and the double knitting is where it ends for me #so of course im trying to figure out colorwork for a map #idek where to start with that one. if you know then please lmk #it has like three colors and thats one more color than im used to #i lied maybe four. maybe five. okay so theres green for land. blue for the lake. black for buildings and roads #then like beige or gray for a bit of cliffs. and there's also a shipwreck that i would have to figure out #if that helps you help me then please let me know cuz i really want to do this project #im super passionate about this game and the campaign and i love knitting. i would love to do something with it related to knitting #there are two really good artists in the party that share their amazing art #one of them made a much better map than my painted one that i havent finished. so i think it would be so funny to swing in with a #knitted tapestry or something. and because its a colorwork blanket it will be years down the road. but there are such nice drawings #and then me coming in with a knitted map. thatd be so fun #anyway i went on a ramble in here. i should go work on the current knitting project i have
