sorry not to be negative or anything i think a lot of the jokes about maria dying are funny but am i the only one who thinks that its taking it a liiiittle too far to flood the comments of the live action actors posts with stuff about how shes gonna get shot or you cant wait to see her die (and yes this is actually happening im not making up a guy to get mad at)

#i KNOW its in reference to the character not the actor in real life but its still weird?#like even if youre talking about the character youre still directing it at a real person. who is also a child . which just makes it worse #i feel like if i was in her position id be a bit freaked out #especially if i didnt know much about sonic and how important/iconic maria dying is #like the top comment on her isntagram post confirming her role is just ''LMAO SHES IN A BODY BAG ''#and theres a bunch of other jokes under that about her dying. most of the comments section is just jokes about her dying actually #with a few people congratulating her and stuff but mostly jokes about her dying .... its weird #and about waht she was wearing maybe she Was making a joke there #but i feel like its just as likely that she was on set in costume at the time #and isnt allowed to show what maria looks like yet and thats why she had her face and body covered #theres not really anything wrong with these jokes on their own but why are hundreds if not thousands of people #insistent on making sure the actor herself knows how much you wanna see her die . its so weird

finally finished all of one character's entire quests/optional dialogue/questions/etc.... 100,000 words... .... aughhh

#Given some of it IS lines of code and stuff but like.. minus all that it's still probably at least 85 - 95k words hhhhhh #AND I have to do this for another 3 characters. Then a few partial quests for 3 others. THEN the other random misc stuff in the game #(like there are public areas in the city like a park and a forest that you can go and do a few things at. and chat with a few random #townsfolk that aren't actually full characters or anything. And there's a community board where you can #browse some of the random job advertisments or silly things that happen to be posted around #and also pick up a few odd jobs of your own to help earn coin to buy gifts for the npcs. etc. etc.)#Originally I was thinking like 'ah I'll make a short little game just to try it out! :3 It'll take maybe a few months!''#haha........................hee hee........................................hoho #Also evil that it would have been done already if I didn't totally drop itand stop working on it for like 5 years randomly #i could have made 5 years of steady slow progress gradually. instead of like 'one initial idea dump + about a month of art and writing'#...... 5 year break..... 'sudden mad dash to try to get probably 400.000 words written in a year or less' lol #I just really want to be done and have something out there already so it can lead to doing other things in my world..!!!!!! T o T #Like this can be an introduction and then maybe from that I can make other games. or short story anthologies. or other such things #But there needs to be some initially not very complex easy to interact with starting point first I guess... if that makes sense #That's part of why I stopped posting worldbuilding lore dump stuff as often because its' like.. massive walls of novella length #text are much more inacessible to engage with than like.. ooh a game! and there's characters! so its more approachable! and theres #visuals! oo! and the text is broken up in small bits line by line with other things in betwen! oo! etc. etc. lol #Not that THIS is even very accessible. I think dialogue heavy interactive fiction/visual novel type stuff is pretty niche and considered #boring or tedious compared to something with more ''gamplay'' like where you can actually move around in a world #and shoot things or whatever lol. But its an inbetween point. something SLIGHTLY #more accesible for now. Since i just dont have the budget or means or ability to make some skyrim type thing obviously LOL #Though maybe if theres any interest in the visual novel that could lead to making other things too. or at least I hope. I have a VERY cool #idea for a more ''gamey'' type of game that is a super fun concept and etc. but I would need to hire at least 2 people to make it.. ough..#I could do all the writing and probably half of the art. But I think I'd inevitably need a 3d artist and someone who can Code For Real hbjh #the system for ren'py (the thing I'm making a visual novel in) is not that complicated if you stick to just simple dialogue and stuff.#Making a whole moderately sized 3d game with minigames in it and a bunch of quest features and etc. would be out of my simplistic scope #''just learn it yourself!!' ... i barely manage to eat and sleep reliably every day lol... i do not function well enough to spend months #learning that many new skills. Apparently my job incorrectly changed my state on my W4 without my knowledge or consent last year and now I owe a LOT of money in unpaid state taxes since they weren't withholding them from my paycheck like they were supposed to 😭

#i hadnt filed my 2023 taxes yet bc there was some stuff i had to figure out with my old college #(they didnt send me a 1098-t and they werent responding to my emails and they changed systems after i graduated #so i wasnt in their new systems and when i called the treasurers office they couldnt figure out how to find me #so they sent it to their manager but the manager never responded and etc etc)#but i wasnt too worried bc i knew with the withholdings that i put on my w4 that i should be receiving a refund #and theres no penalties to filing late if youre receiving a refund (you just. dont get your money until its filed)#but now ive got that figured out (turns out they actually didnt need to send me a 1098-t bc i dont have any exceptions to claim from them #bc something about how my expenses were handled? idk. which i didnt even learn from them btw. bc they never got back to me 🙃#i had to consult a tax expert. but anyway)#so i was trying to finally file them. and uh. it turns out i owed like $1000 to my state. and i was like. that. cant be right. what?#checked my w2 and for some reason on one line it had my state listed with like a small portion of my earnings #and then on the next line there was the rest of my earnings under a different state name #a state that doesnt fucking have state taxes 🙃 so nothing was withheld from that portion of my income #so apparently i did NOT pay the majority of my state taxes last year. and now im 6 months late filing. and im worried im fucked #and we are also 11 MONTHS into 2024 with my w4 incorrect and no state taxes withheld all year 🙃 fuck. fuck fuck fuck #they cant even change it back until my manager proves i live in this state apparently 😭 what the hell man #i live in this state i work in this state my companys fucking headquarters is in this state #WHY would they change it to a different fucking state. WITHOUT my knowledge or consent #i didnt even realize they had stopped withholding my state taxes until now bc it happened at the same time i got promoted #so the increase on my paycheck just blended in with my raise 😭#i just submitted it but of course theyre going to take what i owe for my state taxes weeks before they refund me for my federal taxes #payments process within 48 hours but refunds take up to 21 days #rambling #so. im gonna have to figure out how to make rent and bills next week #and then im ALSO gonna have to pay however much it costs to be 6 months behind on a payment of nearly $1000 #FUCK

#i make yet anothet post just for me 👍#we have mail :]#btw - just as a sidenote #tumblr dashboards work different from twitter timeline #theres a few tabs: 1 dashboard 2 for-you and 3 following #following is tags you follow. which is why im mentioning the maintagging #if you tag stuff with that maintag (like slimecicle) then ANYONE going through that tag (searching 4 fanart like me! 4 example)#will see that post #and with 18+ stuff- most people consider it disrespectful to put it under maintags. there's subcultures and communities within just mcytblr #that specifically exist to keep it separated #the for-you tab is typically like a standard twitter tl though. thats pretty much how it functions #fun fact: likes are useless here! all they do is bookmark things #they dont affect your for-you tab. and they also don't help the visibility of other posts #the important button that does is Reblogging #which brings me to the dashboard! where most users reside #its a following-only tab that shows you things (if you have the setting turned on. which i recommend) in reverse-chronological order #so newest at the top oldest at the bottom #its exclusively curated by YOU! the user #so when i get upset at maintagging know its mainly not an issue ! but its considered a common courtesy to avoid main tags #and stick to those communities that thrive with that kinda posting #and not that it will mess up peoples individual timelines #<- also final note on this: dont add extra tags ! since again people will search specific tags for specific things #any more than 15 tags will then stop being sorted and categorized by tumblr- so its not helping your reach #<- for example. if i were to tag things hashtag mcyt hashtag mcytblr hashtag fandom onnnn and onnn #it would cut out organizing them at 15. all the tags b4 that 15 mark would be organized and go in their maintags #but after? tumblr doesn't count them #and !!!! tumblr has a report button for spam-tagging. if its about slimecicle the cc: dont tag his characters ! general rule of thumb #hope my rambling was helpful lmao! again i mean no ill-will dude all the 18+ account runners seem chill #they just obviously dont understand the culture and systems here and im more than willing 2 help out if i can :-)#if you need anymore help again !!! a dm or ask or ANYTHING is encouraged
