Am I the only one who doesn't think that 60s era Doctor Who's trend/themes of 'protect women' isnt sexist?
Most of the complaints I see about 60s Who sexism, and the male characters of that era is largely due to the men being like 'girls stay back.' But a) there is nothing inherently sexist about that imo? Men protecting women is the most healthy masculine thing possible. And b) when the women are like 'no lol' the men are like 'okay fine let's go' and respect their decisions on the whole.
Like that isn't sexism? That's just recognising men and women are different?

A Doctor and their companion(s) are inserted into the plot of an episode which they did not experience in place of their counterparts who canonically experienced it. ¿Which of these would you like to see the most?

i love the first doctor's era because they're so much more real / human somehow
people just eat snacks sometimes
barbara was making a dress for vicki
barbara and ian have the best banter with each other and one time spent a while just teasing each other about putting things in the fridge
a random man from alabama being very confused by the tardis, almost getting groped by a dalek, thinking they were filming something and failing to get a picture of any of it
people go wandering off and having their own adventures without the doctor all the time
the fact that they got the actual beatles to play music in an episode
barbara getting to run over some daleks in a lorry
a dalek falling off the mary celeste (yes, the famous ship) by complete accident
the doctor always laughs at his own joke (usually while ian and barbara roll their eyes at him)
sometimes ian and barbara are walking behind the doctor and they just smile fondly at each other
barbara: 'i feel like my hair's turned white', vicki: 'it has actually!' (spoiler alert: it has not)
there's just so much 'filler' content and I love it so much, and it never gets boring <3
