Helloooooo!
I'm a bit new to the Mushroom Oasis fandom and I just wanted to say that I love the game! :D
I just played through day 3 and all I have to ask is-
CHEEA WHY AND HOW DID YOU MAKE THE BAD ENDING IN DAY 3 SO MUCH WORST THAN THE FIRST TWO I FEEL SO BAD NOW
Aw I'm glad you enjoyed the game!!! Happy to have you here ::-D!
Hhgsd people have been wanting a bad ending since I released Day 2 so I delivered ❤️ Having built newly found trust with Mychael it'd take something pretty major to trigger a bad ending, which is why it's only achievable by selecting all suspicious choices.
I intended the bad ending to be much more difficult to find but people caught on real quick!! You guys really just wanna break his heart huh /lh

a fun thing you can do when you're a grownup is buy a bunch of ingredients and make 6 litres of spaghetti sauce in a big pot and divide it up into a bunch of containers and put it in the freezer!

hot take: trying things you've had adverse reactions to in the past (including full-on sensory-related meltdowns) to see if you may enjoy it now is good, actually. how you processed Bad Texture 10 years ago may be different to how you do now. or it may not. but the only way to know is to try.

Whoops, I forgot to share the Dungeon Meshi merch I got in Tokyo last month. Which wasn't much tbh. Since I was with family, I couldn't be like "Hey, let's go into this anime store spanning 8 floors!" And the sole time I visited Akihabara, the only shop still open was Don Quijote…However! I went to the Tsutaya in Shibuya, the one that re-opened recently across from the station. And at the very top, they had a small pop-up of Dungeon Meshi merch.
I bought a badge and what I assumed was an acrylic stand, but it's more like a big keychain? I was planning to go back to get something for a friend, and maybe the towel, but I ran out of time… Also, apparently they were giving away postcards if you spent 2,000 yen too? I didn't know that! I would have spent more otherwise 😔
I also found a couple of Dungeon Meshi gachapon machines in Magnet, the mall across from Tsutaya. The only ones I saw, in fact. Not that I checked every capsule centre I came across…
I wish I could have obtained all the mushroom ones, but the machine had maybe 2 capsules left, and I was out of coins. However, I did manage to get Senshi too. He's already attached to my backpack 😊

I was thinking about built in cameras for the Mechs and here’s what I came up with:
I think there’s only three Mechs that it makes sense to consider (not including Aurora because she is a ship); Brian, Ivy, and Tim.
Brian has mechanical eyes, which could function similarly to a camera, and he has a mechanical brain, so his brain can store the photos, like modern cameras and computers do.
Ivy has organic eyes and a mechanical brain. At first I thought this might pose an issue, but she already has functional interfacing between her eyes and brain that allow her to see in the first place, so I don’t think there would be one. She could take pictures and store them (she has plenty of memory!), her eyes are just like yours and mine, so she would be more limited in the quality of her photos. Although I think this means that if she has floaters or visual snow or the like, those would appear in her photos (when she’s experiencing them). If that were the case, she could take photos of hallucinations, which would be interesting. Also be way easier to tell if she needs glasses. And she wouldn’t have the issue you get when taking a photo at 1x zoom from your perspective, but it looks zoomed out a bit.
Tim has mechanical eyes and an organic brain, which does pose an issue. He also obviously has functional interfacing between the two, but he doesn’t have the storage like Ivy and Brian. His eyes could well function like cameras, and there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to just take a photo by thought, since his brain already controls his eyes. So I propose that Tim has a slot for a memory card, to store his photos. But I don’t think he can look back at the photos without removing the card and looking through them on a computer, since his brain, while technically a computer, is made of meat and does not function like a mechanical computer. So it’s like taking photos with film; well except he can look at them on the computer, but the point is that in the moment he can’t look back and see if the photo is good or if he needs to try again.
Tl;dr: Brian could function like fancy a modern digital camera, Ivy like a digital camera with limited zoom and focus, and Tim like a fancy (as in has great zoom, focus, etc) film camera.
On a related note, I don’t like the idea of someone being able to take photos or video of me without my knowledge, especially blantently, right in front of me. Make each of them have a shutter noise and a small red light or something, just so others know.

I think a spaceship that makes no sense is the spaceship that makes the most sense for this crew, considering all that happens around here, Captain.
Moist regards,
#0505
honestly #0505, you're right and you should say it. i like to imagine that our ship is a very strange bastion of the crossovers where each character has a spiderverse-like portal we just... drag them into sometimes for whatever shitposts we make lmao ;; it makes sense then that the ship itself just. doesn't abide by the rules of reality. it's an eldritch thing. open a door that led to the second floor? bam, you're already in the room you're looking for. labs? nope, kitchen.
the only time it's ever consistent is like. in a crisis. then for some weird reason everything is in place. (plot convenience, the reason is plot convenience.)
also please dry off your regards, they're going to contaminate the lab samples of the hell mushrooms. o7

"fifth race" this, "second evolution" that. I think the Tau'ri specifically are the foretold returned Ancients.
with very few exceptions, Earth is the only place that has people with the ATA gene
Earth is where the Ancients evacuated to after they lost the war with the wraith
the earth stargate programme is the one that has explored, rediscovered, and activated the most Ancient devices and bases (Antarctica, Atlantis, that ship in SGU, the Ancient libraries, all of Merlins stuff, all of Oma Desala's stuff, all of Morgan Le Fays stuff, the list goes on)
Earth has made contact with the Asguard, the Nox, the Tollans, the Wraith and some other allies
Earth has made contact with actual Ancients and even had at least one Ascend and come back (Daniel)

So funny/disappointing that the wind took down the inflatable mushrooms for cavetowns set. The mushroom forest vibe with the pine trees behind the stage would have been so cool
Instead they left him on a stump stage so it looked like he was a woodland creature who had become a victim of deforestation

i read part of the first chapter of sea glass gardens a while ago but decided to come back once I knew more about the characters and world building of jjk. Anyways and I watched jjk 0 and your telling me he actually blew up the school with the power of love??? Like full on textually the power of love??? He straight up used the power of love to nuke Geto and subsequently the school??? Are you kidding me?? I'm losing my mind. What the fuck
my boy has powerful love within him and also incredible and indiscriminate violence. what more could you want from a character.
