the vibe for may 25th is savory waffles and blind boxes. for our second day in GR, we went to a board game shop, where we didn't get any board games, but I did get some fun blind boxes. we have: not keroppi, this mushroom, and ham egg "dreaming." why are there six different hamster 🐹 + egg 🥚 combos? Idk. why are they all so cute? also, of course, we hit a record shop. can't help myself.

— ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES !

hi wannabes! there are a few changes to our admin team that we wanted to share with you. first, the bad news: admin maru has decided to step down from our team. as one of our founders, wannabe would not exist without the contributions of maru and while she'll still be present as a regular wannabe, her presence on the admin team will be sorely missed. we'll keep her name on the main as homage to one of our founders, though it's modified to clarify that she is no longer an active part of the team.

in much brighter news, we've decided to promote mod cinamoroll to a full-fledged admin to help fill in some of the gap left behind by maru's new absence. cinamoroll has been an incredible help to me (admin keroppi) with next gen as well as other events over the last several months. it's only right that we give her more creative control as she's done a fantastic job behind the scenes and understands the vision for the future of wannabe. cinamoroll will be helping me out with some administrative duties but will keep her focus primarily on running events more independently as we move forward.

we're also announcing that we will now be accepting mod applications- and we will continue to keep these applications open on a rolling basis. a lot of the same roles are still very much needed so if the form looks familiar, that would be why! if you submitted your interest before, please submit again so we know that you're still interested in helping out our team.

hi darling wannabes! admin maru here with a bittersweet note; as of this activity check, i am officially retiring from my position here with wannabe. it has been a heckuva ride and i have loved every minute building and growing this wonderful, beautiful place with keroppi and it warms my heart to see that this brainchild continues to succeed year after year.

i don't think either of us really imagined that one day wannabe would become such a beloved place for so many, especially not when we were discussing how to tackle the unique challenges that come with a roleplay of this kind. but, thanks to you guys, here we are! and i wouldn't change a single thing that got us here.

while it pains me (and feels like i'm losing an organ) to admit, i'm no longer in a position in my personal life to be able to help out with wannabe, and will be leaving it in keroppi and cinnamoroll's very capable hands.

Time Skip ⏭️

I arrive to Gunwook’s house and immediately run and knock gently on the door. I hear a childlike scream faintly in the background of the door. All of a sudden, the door swings open and reveals a baby smile Gunwook.

Gunwook: Bub!!! I love you so much!!!

He bear hugs me tightly. I try to respond and feel the bag in my hand dangling from my fingertips. I love my boyfriend, but he sometimes forgets how gigantic he is compare to my short figure. I chuckle and balance the bag on my hand with my other patting his back.

Y/n: *breathlessly* Wook I can’t breathe.

Gunwook: I’m sorry bub!!! *loosens his grip* *pouts looking down at me*

Y/n: It’s okay my squirtle baby. *I pinch his cute rosy puffy cheeks*

Gunwook: *blushes* Don’t pinch my cheek. *crosses his arms* *pauses* Unless you give the other one love too. *points at his face*

Y/n: I’m sorry. Here *pinch his other cheek softly* Better?

He nods his head happily. Then grabs my hand leading me inside his house. He shuts the door and make sure it’s lock and secured. Wook always makes sure I’m safe. My love is always looking out for me and others. He then puts my coat on the back of one of the barstool chairs. I smile and can’t help but think how lucky I am to have him.

Gunwook: Bub what’s in the bag? *his eyebrows lifting up in confusion* *points to the bag*

My eyes shift to the bag still at my side. I smile excitedly and put my arms around his torso. He looks suspicious, but puts his hands on my waist.

Y/n: You can’t see it because I have something special for you. *tiptoes and kiss his cheek*

Gunwook: *pouts* Okay. Can we cuddle now please? You promised me on text.

Y/n: of course Wook!!! But let me show you the masks. I got them, since you asked to do a couples skincare night.

Gunwook chuckles and sits on the couch. He then waits patiently until I sit down. His strong arms pull me closer to him burying his face in my neck. Cute baby.

Y/n: I got us two Sanrio face masks!!! Look Wook!!! *he lifts his head up and smiles giggling* Do you want Keroppi or Kuromi?

Gunwook: Kuromi *pouts cutely* please bub.

Y/n: *chuckles at his cuteness* Of course Wook!!! Now I also brought cute skincare hairbands and I didn’t know if you-*cuts off*

I get cut off suddenly by a peck on my lips. Trying not to blush, I pause and look like I’ve had a malfunction. Finally back to earth, hearing Gunwook laughing.

Y/n: *pouts at him* Why’d you cut me off? *trying to look offended*

Gunwook: *teasingly pouts back* You looked too cute. I love it when you mumble while explaining. It’s also a nice sight to see you care so much about me. * lays his hand on my shoulder *

Y/n: Well you also take care of me too. Don’t leave your self out in that one. I do love taking care of you in the littlest ways. Here *hands bag*

Gunwook: I thought you said to wait. *pout* You sure bub? *I nod reassuringly* Okay.

His eyes sparkle at the bag like a little boy who just learned a new word. I chuckle when he nervously still looks to make sure I’m okay with it. I nod and rub his shoulders and lay against him. When he finally opens it, his eyes widen in shock.

Gunwook: Matching Snorlax onesies? Bub you’re the best!!! Can we put them on now? Please please? *shakes your hand and pouting*

Y/n: Mmmh!!! Of course squirtle.

He claps his hands like a baby. I smile and hug him happily to know he loves my gift.

Gunwook: You can change in here and I will change in the bathroom real quick!!! I can’t wait!!! *squeals excitedly*

Another Time Skip 🙄 ⏭️

I quickly change into my onesie and crisscross applesauce on the couch. Anticipation is building in me as I wait for Gunwook to come out. All of a sudden I hear a familiar voice.

Gunwook: Bub I’m ready!!! Tell me if I can come out. *respectful gentleman ladies 👀*

Y/n: I’m already dressed Wook!!! You can come out!!! Don’t worry!!!

Gunwook comes in posing and trying to model for me. I giggle and give him two supporting thumbs up.

Gunwook: Tada!!! *waving his hands in the air* I think I look cute and cuddly don’t you think my eevee? *smirking at me*

Y/n: *roll my eyes* So what am I Wook a magikarp? 👁️ 👄💧👁️

Gunwook: *eyes widen in horror* *coming to me in a hug* No you look cute and hot. The onesie makes you so cuddly like a teddy bear. Don’t ever think you are even near a magikarp. Them things are ugly. You are my precious eevee. Girl I better never hear that again!!!

Y/n: *chuckles at your boyfriend hyping you up* I think we’re the cutest couple. *wrap my arms around his neck*

I smirk and kiss him on the lips softly. He giggles in the kiss and pulls me closer to him. After a few seconds, he pulls away hugging me. His warm arms wrapping me in his embrace.

Gunwook: Bub? Can we cuddle now but for real? Bulbasaur isn’t the best cuddler. He’s not the same as you.

Y/n: *chuckles* Yes because you’ve been so patient this afternoon and because I miss being in your embrace.

I sit on the couch and put my arms out to Gunwook and he comes happily being the little spoon. He lays on my tummy and plays with my hands. I then gasp and he looks up at me concerned.

Gunwook: What is it bub? Are you okay?

Y/n: I forgot to put the facemasks on us and give you your chocolate I brought in the bag. *pouting*

Gunwook: We can still do that and cuddle Y/n. Here let me get the masks and the chocolate. I can feed you some chocolate pieces while you put the masks on us.

( this boy is making me so soft and imma sob knowing this man is too precious )

I smile and nod watching him getting the masks and headbands. He gives them to me and then pulls the chocolate out of the bag. Then, comes softly laying on my tummy like before, but smiling at his chocolate. I gently put the first headband on Gunwook.

Y/n: Hey Wook. *looks up at me* Can you lift your head a little so I can put the headband on you? *he nods while putting a piece of chocolate in his mouth.*

Y/n: Thanks squirtle. *he smiles and puts a piece of chocolate up to me*

Gunwook: Say ah bub!

Y/n: Ah *finds him cute feeding me*

Gunwook: It’s sweeter because I’m here. *smirks*

Y/n: You think?

Gunwook: *lifts his and faces you* Yes because I’m your squirtle baby.

Y/n: I’m just joking Wook. It is sweeter because you’re here.

Gunwook: *proudly smiles and lays back like before* I love you Y/n. I’m happy we are spending our first holiday as a couple.

Y/n: I love you too Gunwook. *kiss his forehead* I’m putting the mask on you. So don’t move.

Gunwook: Okay bub.

After putting his mask on and mine, he sits me in his lap facing him. Pulling me closer to him and resting my head on his shoulder. He hums Christmas carols and rubs my back in circles gently.

Y/n: You’re the best cuddler ever Wook. I feel so safe and secure in your arms. I’m so happy you’re my boyfriend.

Gunwook: I’m happy you feel that way Y/n. I always want to make you feel safe and comfy in my arms. I’m happier to be your boyfriend and to call you mine.

Few minutes later, our mask time is up. We take off each others mask. Then we go back to the couch cuddling again. I lay on Gunwook’s chest. His wraps his arms around mine. He puts his chin on my head kissing the top of my head. I play with his fingers with my own. We didn’t talk much but rather wanting to savour the sweet moment together peacefully.

Gunwook: Merry Christmas my eevee.

Y/n: Merry Christmas my squirtle.

Nintendo Direct Thoughts

I just woke up and had a look, not expecting much given this is one of those "we're at the end of the Switch's life" Directs but honestly I was surprised.

We start with a brand new Mario and Luigi game... we've been getting lots of remakes for Mario RPGs but this is a new one and honestly was the one I expected to get a new game the least out of all of them. To tell the truth I would have preferred a continuation of SMRPG or a new traditional Paper Mario over this, cuz a party made up of just Mario and Luigi was novel when Luigi wasn't appearing in as many games but now it feels boring by comparison. I wish they would do more with the idea of adding on surprise guest party members, like how the 2nd game had the Baby Bros and the Third game had Bowser, then Paper Mario, but after that it just a weird version of Luigi? idk man. This looks neat, I'm glad the franchise isn't dead. I'll think about picking it up. Probably not a day 1 purchase. I do hope other Mario RPGs have a chance at continuing too though.

I still think the Nintendo World Championships is pointless.

Not interested in Fairy Tail, I only ever read a bit of the Manga, I'd like to check out the anime but lisenced anime games are a hard sell for me. Wish they'd just make another One Piece Grand Battle style game.

Don't care about Fantasian, Nintendo Switch Sports has a bad reputation and I don't care about sports anyway so that's a pass, pass on Mio, pass on Disney, pass on Hello Kitty, give me a sequel to the Keroppi platformer for the NES and then we'll talk, It's weird to see Loney Tunes in a video game. That Porky Pig voice was rough. I don't have hopes for it, Don't care about Among Us or Farmagia...

Donkey Kong Country Returns... not a new game, and they didn't announce any new playable characters or features aside from levels from the 3DS version, and I wish they gave DK and Diddy more of a facelift, but i'll take it, a way to play DKCR on the big screen, hopefully without the motion controls, is a win... but please Nintendo.... give us a new DK game...

Dragon Quest III 2DHD. I am very mixed about the whole 2D HD thing, I don't think it looks good. Never have. This looks a lot better than Octopath to me but I still don't like it. Also, I respectfully disagree with Mr. Horii. Playing the games in chronological order is not the best way to experience the Erdrick Trilogy, and that's a pretty dumb thing to say. That's like telling someone to read a Murder Mystery but start with the final chapter. The big twist in DQ3 will be meaningless to those who haven't played, at the very least, DQ1... I'm glad all 3 games are getting the treatment. I am a big fan of the trilogy so even though I don't care for the whole 2D HD thing, I'll pick it up, and who knows, maybe the style will grow on me.

Funko is a fucking joke. I'm ehh about Luigi's Mansion 2 but I might pick it up anyway if I have extra cash burning a hole in my pocket and I really want a new game. Don't care about Denpa Men, Would prefer Traditional Metal Slug, Don't care about Darkest Dungeon, Don't care about NSO but it's nice that those games are now available for people, Phantom Braves has a cute art style but i'm not interested in the gameplay, Marvsl and Capcom arcade collection might be worth a look but idk, I'm no good at fighting games, so i'd only be in it for the beat em ups.

I tried to like Mario Party but I just can't get into that style of game. I want to like it because I love the Mario series but it's just not fun for me, either with friends or going it alone, I hate board games irl, making them video games doesn't actually help, and I think the minigames are just not fun and over too quickly.

I wish I was excited about our first new 2D Zelda in a long time. But Link has always been...ugh... I guess you could call him a "comfort character" for me. I never liked Princess Zelda that much, and I enjoy the combat in Zelda games a lot, so a game without Link and without Combat.... I am apprehensive. The one thing that might save this game for me is that it has hints of monster taming. Not like... real monster taming, you're creating copies, so it's not like your bonding with monster companions, but it's still monster vs monster, and that's something I'd love to see expanded on. Give me a full on Zelda monster tamer.... I hope this isn't "The new direction for 2D Zelda" the way BOTW is for 3D Zelda though. I was kinda hoping 2D Zelda would keep traditional Zelda alive while 3D Zelda continued being open air.

More headlines, I don't care about just dance, never was a fan of legos, stray was interesting when it was first announced but the novelty wore off after watching ppl play it, there's a lot of games like lately. Don't care about the Hobbit, and i'm sorry, I'm sorry, I know I don't care about a lot of things and I know t he franchise has a lot of fans but I just don't care about Ace Attourney. And don't care about Hunted Line, looks edgy. I know SaGa has a legacy, but I'd prefer to try an older game before thinking about checking out a new one.

Metroid Prime 4 looks interesting. We have Sylux with some Metroids following him around. We have orchestral sounding music. It's definitely Metroid Prime alright. Can't wait to play it for myself.

Despite how often I said "don't care" I'd call this a good direct.

TLDR, Metroid is the most exciting thing there, I'm happy for the DKCR remake, I'm apprehensive about Zelda but I'm gonna try it. Mario and Luigi i'll probably pick up some day.

i always thought and still think he’s asian (like me and kiki) because of his dark hair. i know people say he dyes it but whatever

he’d probably like sanrio even if not openly? i think he might be embarrassed since ppl assume sanrio’s for kids but he’d especially like keroppi because he likes frogs

he’s GOTH (and to some extent punk) not an e-boy people need to stop calling him an e-boy i’m begging you because if you saw e-boy culture on tiktok you know they’re the legit antithesis of him and he would probably hate/make fun of them with sam and abigail

my dude wears glasses but only when he’s alone in his room which is why if you took him out to get food he wouldn’t be able to read the menu at mcdonalds

i don’t think he hates maru. she specializes in STEM just like he does and a lot of their interests align imo. i like to think sometimes they help each other out whether it be with maru’s robots or his own coding. at least once he matures out of the phase of feeling secondary to her and realizes she actually really loves her brother

kiki + sebastian relationship

i feel like the couple meme sheet i did embodies their dynamic pretty well but if it wasn’t obvious i like opposites attract and goth/prep dynamics

even if they don’t have the exact same interests, they strive for compromise. as in kiki giving him tulips since she likes tulips even though he hates flowers - he keeps them in a vase anyway. kiki doesn’t like horror, sebastian probably does, and she watches movies with him so he isn’t trapped watching awful romcoms with her. he also probably doesn’t love sweets but i think i established earlier kiki’s pretty good at baking so he tries to eat whatever she bakes anyway. and it’s not like those “the old ball and chain” relationships but more so done out of love so your partner doesn’t feel like they are losing parts of themselves dating you

not that they don’t have anything in common though b/c kiki liked the cave saga comics as a kids and would participate in dnd sessions with sebastian

they were definitely best friends before they went out and i don’t think it was love at first sight. he was probably thinking why the hell does this chick keep showing up in my room for the first few weeks of their friendship until she kinda grew on him once he realized she was there to stay and annoyingly persistent

i don’t really get the vibe sebastian is the type to give you advice when you’re upset but it’s not necessarily a bad thing for kiki. it’s better for her, as opposed to haley (who i DO think gives good advice), to sometimes have someone to listen to. imo he’s more observant so he is able to pick up on her being upset when someone like abigail might not notice

in general the same goes as what i’ve said about shane and haley - a lot of their dynamic is based on helping each other, especially helping each other grow

they definitely bicker but not in an overdramatic way? i feel like the only thing they’d fight about is something as dumb as robin and demetrius fighting over tomatoes being fruit - ultimately harmless (plus robin and demetrius have one of the healthiest relationships in game). maybe something like that one vid of the guys fighting over whether or not water is wet

kiki definitely gets on his ass about his health all the time. like i KNOW it’s annoying the way your mom might nag you but i am so bad at self-care myself that i’m 99% sure he probably forgets to eat sometimes after coding for hours which is why she drops food off for him constantly

sebastian is better at showing affection through his actions because saying stuff verbally is not his strong suit and embarrasses him, so usually he resorts to things

kiki is also so good at giving sebastian super well thought-out gifts (like bidding on a signed copy of the comics he likes) that he gets really nervous around holidays because he doesn’t want to give her something that she doesn’t like and disappoint her. gift giving is a competition at this point

pda is not really sebastian’s thing so kiki doesn’t indulge in it that much so he won’t die of embarrassment. but on occasion she does do some pda in front of everyone though to embarrass him b/c it is kinda funny to her

their dates tend to be really simple too? i don’t think either of them are big gesture types of people or they only do that type of stuff once in a while. i think he’s come to terms that kiki refuses to go back to the city for dates but is okay with date nights in. weirdly enough he plans them more knowing that she’s really busy with farm work

i am coming back to these SO LATE so sorry ab that one but phoebe carries a lot of things but...her five essentials are (other than her phone ofc)

a GIANT pack of gum - she read once in a study in like, 5th or 6th grade, that chewing gum increases your concentration so she always has gum on her. her favorite flavor is oddly cinnamon though which peter gives her shit for sometimes lmaooo

it’s less of something she has on her but she has a little keychain on her backpack that her mom gave her when she was probably seven or eight? it’s a little keroppi head and it’s really worn down by the time promises starts but she still keeps it on there!

she always carries a starkpad too - which comes in handy because she doesn’t really own a laptop? which is kind-of crazy to say but she has a huge desktop that she uses all the time so she never...found the use for one? which kinda sounds stupid but she carries around the starkpad instead. it does everything she needs and then some so she’s fine with it!

she also has a big and very clunky wallet that’s really weird looking but she really tried to go digital with all of her money and it didn’t really...go so well so she just has a giant wallet! also it means that she gets to carry a picture of her, her mom and tony so it’s not too bad!!

she also always carries around a miniature dictionary! it’s not like super small but it’s small enough for her to still be able to read it. she sometimes uses it when she doesn’t understand what people are talking about - but it’s there mostly so she can use big words to confuse all of her friends haha

Cutie Reviews: Yume Twins Nov 18

Before we begin, I wanted to let anyone curious to know that I put in my order from Blippo.com. I was cheap though- so I’m not actually sure when it’ll be delivered!

This months theme: Twinkling Transformation

“Have you ever wished you could transform into something different? Like maybe a magical girl, or even your pet for a day? We certainly daydream about being whisked of into a new exciting world where we get to shapeshift into a something different ourselves! So this November we’re bringing you the Twinkling Transformation box, with some kawaii items that transform literally, an items that will change your surroundings too! The word transform or change is “henshin” in Japanese, so we hope you love your super kawaii items in this months box and that they will allow you to fulfill your henshin dreams!“

The prizes for this months photo contest feature a variety of cute Korilakkuma themed items.

While the Yume Prize box contained a variety of Kuromi and Keroppi products.

Sumikko Gurashi Peg Set

Our first item are these adorable little pegs/clips. These types specifically are the ones people usually use to hang up with some string decorated with ornaments, pictures, notes, etc, giving the area a cute but mature feel.

There are 4 sets available, each with 3 pegs.

These are really cute little ways to add decoration to something usually so plain and basic. The little pieces are entirely made from wood and the glue is very strong, so I’m pretty sure they’ll hold. These are kind of small but they’ll have no problem doing their duty, I’ve seen tinier ones do it fine.

 Right now I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do with them... but I am very happy happy I got Neko x3 besides Shirokuma, he’s my favorite.

Kawaii Changing Pouch

Our next item is a pouch based on a the popular changing sequins trend that’s been going on lately. I love sequins and the idea appeals to me, but besides this I only have one thing featuring it.

Now, these were mostly Sanrio based, but they also have a Doraemon. There was a total of 6 the subscribers could find. As you can see I got the Kuromi and My Melody version. I’ll probably end up keeping it as is in the picture since I like how it looks.

As cute as this is, the awkward way the pouch opens kind of bothers me. It unzips down one corner and side, due to a flap on the inside, which in a way I kind of like, but on the other hand it’s weird. I’m a bit conflicted on whether I like that or not, but I can definitely use this for stuff so I do like it.

My other complaint is that there are so many white accents (you can probably tell in the pic) and it makes the design look a bit messy. But that’s probably just my opinion.

Costume Pet Plushie

Our third item is perfect for the transformation theme :3 every magical girl needs a companion~

This plush set includes a variation of 10 possible dogs or cats you could get, including ones in full costume or just those with a hood, like mine.

Oh, and if you’re wondering why it’s on it’s side... it needs some “cleaning“ done because somehow it got dirty, even though kept it in the box and it was clean. Also, it’s just easier to get a picture this way.

As much as I love plushes, I’ve seen cuter. Like it’s cute, but I wish it was more... inline with what you would actually see in Magical Girl series. I was also kind of perturbed over its condition and messed up whiskers (probably can’t tell in the picture, but they are very crazy and bent).

Sheep Microfiber Cleaner

This item, practical item is infused with bamboo charcoal to not only pick up dust, but absorb any nasty smells and deodorized wherever it gets put; for example, on the back of the wrapper it shows 2 of these within a pair of shoes.

Besides this brownish color, it’s also available in white and a pinkish-orange.

Not only is it the most kawaii cleaning buddy ever, but it works great!

Today we brought in a carpet to put own on the living room floor and we found so much dust and dirt beneath the couches and corners of the room we haven’t seen in forever- and I’m pretty sure I mentioned this, but I have dust allergies and they were having a field day. So I used this little sweetie to help pick up some of the dust.

I didn’t get a chance to test the scent thing though, I didn’t really get any sleep last night so my mind was elsewhere and it never occurred to me. But I did notice it seems to have it’s own little scent, so I’m pretty sure it could pick.

Sailor Moon Cleaner Cloth

I love when they include Sailor Moon items in the box x3 and this is a very practical item for me which makes it even better. Besides cleaning screens, they can also be used on glasses, or a make-shift hair tie in an emergency if they are the normal square ones (like if you have wind blowing your hair all over the place and you don’t have any actual hair things on hand.... I know from experience.)

This was available in any of the 5 main sailor scouts, and I actually think all 5 variations are pretty, so any of them would have been nice. They all have the same design, the only difference being the name written on it.

On a side note... It actually killed me separating these two items. I know it’s silly but I loved how this packaging looked, I didn’t want to destroy it.

But as it turns out it was super easy to un-assemble and put back together. The bow on the back is just held together by flaps and the cloth is folded and partially sticking in a slot. So if I ever miss it I can just reassemble it. Word of warning though, the points of the ribbon are very sharp >3<

Uh, in terms of the cloth itself... I mean you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. It’s very silky smooth, a bit thick, and after today my laptop screen really needed a quick wipe.

Kawaii Mini Mini Memo

Available with Mochi Mochi Panda, Yeast Ken, or Animal Life, these mini memo pads are the perfect companion to the sequin pouch we got to look at earlier. Or just for putting in your pocket if you feel like it.

It has a nicely textured spine and a little information on the series/character on the back. The pad also has two styles of sheets, one vertical with a list format and one horizontal with designs like those on the cover.

I know this isn’t the most exciting review, but I had a long day and I really wanted to get this taken care of before bed because after all the work I did today, I won’t be doing anything tomorrow.

But to be fair what can you say about a notepad? I get them all the time from these boxes and you can’t really judge the quality of notepad/memo pad paper because you know it works. It’s paper.

♡ Cutie Ranking ♡

Content - 4 out of 5. I like what we got and I was very happy with the practicality and variety of it.

Price - 3 out of 5. I don’t know what all of these items cost, but most of the items are on the small side, paired with 2 bigger items. So I wouldn’t say it was worth it, but the reason the items usually cost so much is because of the name branding.

Theme: 3 out of 5. This box was pretty much a play on words, like rather than items that would cause personal transformation- these items bring transformation to our things. All items but the memo pad (which is a partner to the pouch pretty much) fit that idea, but... I don’t know, as a magical girl lover I really wish they did something more. 

Total Rank: 7 out of 10. I like the content well-enough and I’m not displeased by the box or anything. But at the same time, something about it just left a little to be desired to me. It’s boxes like this that remind me of how much I liked the Yume Twins I signed up with a few years ago. We got around 10 items, there was a wider variety, (the mascot twins who I still miss), they would include things like blind box re-ments or charms or accessories....

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with the box, it’s just that sometimes I find it hard to entirely like it as much as I want to. I always want to love my boxes, and I genuinely like them at the end of the day, but not every single one will appeal to every single subscriber.

♡ Cutie Scale ♡

1. Microfiber Sheep - I’m thinking of naming it Puffy, or maybe Wheats, cause that’s what I end up thinking of looking at it. Anyway it’s so cute and fluffy, I love how soft it feels. I’m not sure I could stand to try to use it to see if it actually removes stench though... I’d feel kind of bad.  

2. Memo Memo Pad - I love Mochi Mochi Panda, it always makes me happy to look at. I wanna squeeze it’s stuffed cheeks~

3. Kawaii Changing Pouch - I really wish the booklet showed both forms of the pouch like I did in my pic. A few of them are obvious without seeing the other image, but not all of them. I also wish the sequins were a bit more cleaned up, as I noted during my review of the item.

4. Sailor Moon Cleaner Cloth - It’s pretty and sorta elegant looking to me, I really like how it was packaged too, it’s so creative!

5. Sumikko Gurashi Peg - I’m glad I got Neko but the poses are very basic. I’ve seen them on tons of things I got from these boxes and I kind of wish they were more unique. 

6. Costume Pet Plush - it’s cute and really soft, but I still can’t figure out how it got dirty...

“Fuck,” Yoongi groans, sinking into the bed as he lay atop of you. Out of habit, you stroke his hair, and he turns into the touch, light hum sending vibrations to your neck. This close, you can feel his heartbeat through your chest, a familiar lull that reminds you of how well you know him. When he pushes himself off of you, he’s got that dreamy look in his eyes, as he always does afterward. It’s a kind of look that you want to tear your eyes from, knowing he’s retracing every curve and crevice of your face, updating the file he’s kept from the last time you were together like this, making note of any changes. “This hair looks good on you.”

You look away, “thanks.” It’s always this part, this aftermath, that’s hard to maneuver.

Starting it was easy as can be. As per some sort of ritual, you met with him in his hotel lobby, the stress from your job driving you to this outlet.

“I am one lucky man,” he’d said when you’d arrived, “to be in the presence of such a fine-looking lady tonight.”

As usual, his lavish words slipped right past you as you turned to the bar, ordering yourself a martini. Yoongi shakes his head as he seats himself on the next stool.

“You know that I have better liquor upstairs,” he reminds you for the nth time.

“Yet,” you say in between sips. “I still prefer this.”

Yoongi says nothing in response, only ordering another martini and pushing the glass to you once it came.

“What’s this for?” you ask with a lifted brow as you pop the olive into your mouth.

“You were going to order another anyway,” Yoongi shrugs as he looks away.

You stare for a moment, but the suspicion is quickly put aside at the prospect of a free drink. You down it in one go, slam the glass on the counter, and turn towards him. “Okay, I’m ready.”

Yoongi gets up and gestures for you to walk first, trailing behind as you made your way towards the elevator.

You hit the button to the 37th floor, and take a moment to really look at Yoongi. He’s gotten lighter since the last time you saw him. For someone as young as him to inherit a company, it’s certainly not a small task. The Yoongi you used to know, however, didn’t let any signs of fatigue show, a goofy smile always adorning his face, crescent eyes forming every time he saw your face. But he’s not the same Yoongi anymore. The bags under his eyes are etched out under the fluorescent lighting, and the dull hue to his skin gives his sleepless nights away. You almost feel bad for not checking whether he was free tonight.

“Make yourself comfortable,” Yoongi says as he closes the door behind you.

“Nice flowers,” you comment as you hang your coat up.

“You said you liked yellow,” he explains as he puts your bags away. “There’s water on the counter, and juice in the fridge. If you want coffee or tea the hot water’s in the kettle,” he busies himself with undoing his laces.

“I’ll pass. Let’s just get this over with,” you decide, making your way to the bedroom.

He looks up at you, expression unreadable, but says nothing. You notice his quiet behaviour, but choose not to comment. It’s not what you came here for, and frankly, Yoongi’s always been a bit hard to understand. He follows you to the bedroom, remains silent as he takes off your clothes, and if it weren’t for the rustling sheets, the room may as well have been empty.

“Leaving already?” Yoongi comments as you step into your pant legs.

“Yeah, well,” you say as you shimmy into the tight jeans, “I’ve got to get some groceries before the store closes. Have you noticed that all the bread sells out so quickly now?”

Yoongi ignores your attempt to change the subject. “Why didn’t you say it?” His voice is solemn, and it’s clear that the question has been hanging over him for some time.

“Say what?” you feign innocence.

But he’s not buying it. “I told you I loved you, Y/N. You ignored it.”

“I didn’t hear you, Yoongs,” you mutter as you grab your socks.

“Don’t lie,” Yoongi’s voice pins you down. “I said I loved you, Y/N. Does that not mean anything to you?” He gets up and sits on the edge of the bed, facing your back.

“I told you, Yoongi. We’re just friends.”

“Friends don’t fuck.”

The vulgarity in his words has you stunned. “We’re not talking about this,” you turn towards the door, but he’s right behind you, tugging your wrist before you even make it two steps away.

“Y/N,” he starts. “Tell me. Why not us?” He turns you to face him, and you will yourself to focus on a spill in the corner of the rug. “Please…” His voice cracks near the end, and you notice the tears in his eyes when you finally turn to look at him.

“We…” you trail off, “we won’t work.”

Why? His eyes implore, hands squeezing your forearms. Min Yoongi was not known for pleading. He only needs to lift a finger to get what he wants, but not when it comes to you. You were a lock that he just could not find the key to, a piece that he couldn’t fit into the puzzle even though he knew it had a place in there.

“We’re not at the same, the same place,” you mutter.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Yoongi tries not to make his voice sound harsh, but it’s truly a test to his willpower.

“Just look at you, Yoongi!” you exclaim. “Early twenties, and you’ve already got your whole life ahead of you. There’s so much that you’re already destined to do, and you’ve got so much responsibility on your back. And then look at me…” you pause.

Yoongi starts to understand, understand the reason why you’ve always carried that look of shame every time you saw him, and why you insist on using a payphone to call him so he doesn’t know your number.

“I have no idea where I’m going to be in the next ten, five, heck, even two years,” you lower your head. “You’ve got your whole life ahead of you, but I don’t even have mine right now.”

The silence that ensues is deafening. Afraid to look his way, you look at your feet instead, taking in your Keroppi socks across from his YSL slippers.

“God damn,” you hear Yoongi sigh. “How are you so fucking dumb?”

“Excuse me?” your head shoots up.

He laughs. “This whole time,” he shakes his head. “This whole time I thought I wasn’t good enough for you, when you were actually thinking this?” He laughs dryly once again. “Come here, Y/N,” he pulls you forward into a hug.

“Yoongi,” you squirm. “You should think this through.”

“You silly girl,” he sighs, takes a step back and squares you to him. Staring you in the eyes, he enunciates every word. “That doesn’t matter. It’s you that I want, Y/N, not some 9-5 that’s supposed to impress me with whatever responsibility you have. Besides,” he continues. “I’ve seen you take care of your entire family when they hit that slump a while back, and if that doesn’t show how capable you are, nothing will.”

His fingers brush your cheekbones. “Do you get it now?”

You hesitate, but then nod, once, twice, and Yoongi breaks out into the brightest smile you have seen from him in weeks. He’s almost screaming with joy as he tugs you into him, twirling the two of you around until you collapse onto the bed.

Later that night, as you lay on Yoongi’s chest, you ask, “So, does this mean…are we…”

“Yes,” he says as he leans up to kiss you. “And yes.”

Since I was small, I've gone to hang out at Sanrio Puroland countless and countless times. I never thought that there would be a day where BEYOOOOONDS would do a solo concert there, it's a dream. Like my beloved Sam, and like all of the Sanrio friends, I want to be group that will be loved deeply and long <3 <3

As my makeup addiction keeps growing and my bank account keeps crying for help, here I am writing a new entry about Holika Holika’s Gudetama line. For this specific blog, I partnered with a dear friend that loves K Beauty as much as I do.  My friend Jennifer and I both bought different Gudetama products and thought it will be nice to put both our opinions in this blog.

For those of you that don’t know Gudetama is an egg character that is a member of the Sanrio line, same company as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Keroppi and much more. Because of the popularity that Gudetama has received, Korean makeup brand Holika Holika has made a special line of makeup products from cushions to facial mask the list is long. Because of the hype and our love for this character Jennifer bought the Holika Holika’s Gudetama Face 2 Change Photo Ready Cushion BB and I bought the Holika Holika Gudetama LAZY & EASY All Kill Sheet.

1.Holika Holika’s Gudetama Face 2 Change Photo Ready Cushion BB 

Hello, everyone! I’m Jenn and this is my first time writing here. Dio thought it’d be a good idea to review a Korean beauty product as we are both into Korean beauty, so why not?

So as I already mentioned above I will be giving a small review on Holika Holika’s Gudetama Face 2 Change Photo Ready Cushion BB. Long name, I know. I Anyway, just like Dio, I LOVE Korean products and bb cushions are definitely not the exception. It’s one of the things I like most in the Korean beauty world.

Why? Well, for starters you can just put it in your bag and take it wherever you go for touch-ups. What’s even better is that there will be no spills in your bag because after all, it is a bb cushion, so it is completely mess free! This special edition bb cushion is extremely cute. I usually love the packaging Korean brands use for their products. I’m a sucker for them. To be honest, that’s initially why this cushion got my attention. The design outside has Gudetama wearing a bow. Adorable, right?  Even the puff and the sticker that seals the cushion when you open it for the first time has a cute Gudetama design! Also, inside of the box comes the cushion case along with a cushion already inside it and one extra refill with one extra puff.

    Now on to the review on the actual product. This cushion has SPF 50+  PA+++ which is not bad at all. Something I enjoy about this bb cushion is how it brightens my face and my face doesn’t look as dull. It is also sort of dewy but not too much. Sadly, my face tends to get oily throughout the day, so because this bb cushion is not entirely matte, it tends to start wearing off around 2-3 hours of putting it on so I have to touch up. As for the coverage? It is decent. I think it is about low to medium coverage. It does not cover as much as I’d like considering I have some acne scars I really don’t want to be visible but it’s nothing I can’t fix with a little concealer though. Another thing is the color. The shade I picked is No.21 as I am white, pale but not super pale. I thought this shade would match me based on the other swatches and reviews I looked at before making the purchase. Sadly, that was not the case. The shade has a sort of pinkish tone to it and I am not pinkish toned at all so that sucked. I still tried wearing it around though by setting it with a powder that was more my color but that was not of much help. I still use it once in a while if I’m doing errands and no one I know will see me that day haha. Thankfully I’m on the second and last refill so I’m almost done with it. Would I repurchase this? No. It is definitely not the kind of product my skin needs. I prefer something with more coverage and that will not leave me as shiny. Would I recommend this cushion? Sure, but only to those with dry skin. I believe this won’t work if you have oily skin, as it will make you look sort of shiny or greasy.

2. Holika Holika Gudetama LAZY & EASY All Kill Sheet. 

I am a crazy avid fan of mask sheets, not only do they leave your face feelings like a new born it always helps me relax. Because I love these mask sheets so much and also love Gudetama and went online and bought the 2 step kit.  The first step of the kit is a cleansing wipe, it is said to remove makeup, dirt, and oil from the skin. Even though I had removed most of my make up the cleansing wipe did remove the bit of product that I had on my face and left it feelings soft.

After this you start step two, the instructions said to leave on the mask for around 10 to 20 minutes. I left mine for twenty minutes marked by my timer and while having it on the area around my nose did feel a bit tingly. The mask texture feels like a gel which regularly with this brand and other brands that I have used feels refreshing and not that tingly sensation. Then again it was just around my nose, and I could have also wiped a bit hard in those areas which may cause the skin to feel irritated. So I would need to buy it a second time and verify if my hypothesis is correct or not.

After the twenty minutes and removing the mask I didn’t expect at all to feel my skin oily. I have oily skin especially around my T-zone and this mask left my skin so moisturized that I could shine a mile away just by how oily it looked. If you have oily skin and live in a humid area this is not the mask for you. If you have dry skin or a combination skin between dry and oily this will probably work for you. The wipe and mask both smell great, which is something I tend to like a lot about Korean beauty products. This mask has ingredients such as papaya, lemon citrus, fruit extract, and Glycerin which is good for moisture.

Will I buy this again?

For sure, even though it did leave my face oily it is a good moisturizer and I still want to check why it felt tingly around my nose.
