Everything okay over there?
i cant sleeesswpppppppp my dog is hogging half my mattress (she’s not even USING all that space just setting up camp in the middle of it) and my cat has made my doona his kingdom. and my blankets are tangled up in that and i can’t pull them all over me 😫 and i need to wash my sheets on a shorter schedule because i did not anticipate the need to wash my sheets once a week instead of two (is this tmi?) because the animals just shed and roll everywhere. and so my spare fitted sheet isn’t dry yet (love being environmentally conscious in the rainy season. why do we have a dryer if we don’t use it?????) and my spare doona cover is pink and i just really don’t feel in a pink mood as of late. and i’m wondering if shein home textiles are actually decent enough for me to justify getting a nice cheap new set that MATCHES and doesn’t make me want to tear my skin off (fuck linen blends.)
and i miss my sisterrrr she’s overseas for another month and she’s my bestest friend ever and i’ve snooped through her room twice now (i’m thorough) but she’s such a bore there is NOTHING incriminating. but fuck if she doesn’t have great jewellery and loungewear. for all she spends on that stuff i’d really hope so.
i am a cheapskate through and through. went shopping during eofy sales and got $150 worth of clothes for $30. that’s not even my best work. i am literally the bargain hunter of all time. got a cute skirt and have my eye on a jumper to go with it (but it’s $60 so i think i’ll wait for a sale), some nice pinstripe pants (cotton on you go girl) and a tshirt because i need designated pyjamas.
i need new trackies but i hate the cinched ankle kind & straight leg ones are more expensive but i think it’ll be worth it (they’re $90. i haven’t bought new lounge/sleep pants since 2021, where i got fluffy cow pants for $15 while out of state for a regatta [good luck pants frfr] so maybe it’s time to splurge)
whatever that’s not relevant.
uni term ended a week early (one teacher is in cancer treatment [he’s fine dw], the other cancelled class just cause) so that’s a bonus for my writing time. watch me lie and take another few months on the next chapter of my wip (writings real hard when the fandom is no longer your hyperfixation) and maybe get my final draft of my screenplay in (i hate formatting. fuck formatting).
anyways been on the poetry grind lately. winter is just such good inspiration.
and i’m about to get my Ps (i have been putting it off for a year now, woopdeedoo) and i’m gonna road trip the hell out of the mountains this winter. maybe alone because my sisters away and my friends are busy graduating or w/e.
here’s a pic of nigellus from earlier today (yesterday)
i love rambling, we should do this more often.

How Much Does It Cost to Develop an Ecommerce Website?
Building an e-commerce website is a terrific endeavor, yet it is certainly not basic also. An understanding of the High-level Cost involved before you start with Development. These expenditures, when broken down, can all be planned and this will stop you from spending too much. Take a look at how different financial aspects of e-commerce website development work in this comprehensive guide.
Understanding the Basics: What Influences Your Costs?
Several factors determine the overall cost of building an e-commerce website. Think of your site as a vehicle—whether you opt for a simple model or a high-end version with advanced features, the price will vary. Here are the primary factors influencing costs:
1. Platform Choice
Shopify, WooCommerce, or something custom? The platform you choose will have a great influence on how much the project will cost. Shopify has monthly subscription charges and WooCommerce is free but needs hosting and some plugins which need to be paid extra. While custom-built platforms give you more flexibility, they usually require a larger upfront cost.
2. Design and Customization
Good design is a core part of user experience. The cost for pre-made themes can be anywhere from $30 to $150 (or more!) That being said, if you are in need of a one-off design made specifically for your brand, the cost of custom development could go to as much as 10k or more. Custom designs allow you to create a visually appealing site, enhancing customer engagement and conversion rates.
3. Features and Functionality
The features you wish to include in your site also affect the cost. While some basic features — such as live chat, payment gateway integration, and inventory management systems — can drive your overall price up. Differentiate must-have functionalities from nice-to-have features, or you'll be spending more than is necessary.
Building the Website: Breakdown of Development Costs
Let’s dive deeper into the specific costs associated with developing an e-commerce website:
1. Domain Name and Hosting
Every website needs hosting and a domain name. Domain names usually come with a low annual fee of $10-$20. Hosting for easy-to-use service could be from $3 to $300 per month, for high performance and security another example. This is the foundation of your website, much like owning land for building a house.
2. Design Costs
On the other hand, a ready-made template can cost you as less as $30 or up to $150 approximately. But, for a custom and personalized style count between $1,000 and $10,000. By investing in a professional design you can make sure that your website is memorable and impactful to all visitors who arrive.
3. Development Costs
Hiring a developer is often one of the largest expenses in e-commerce website creation. Freelance developers charge between $25 to $150 per hour, while agencies may charge from $100 to $300 per hour. The total development cost can vary from $1,000 to over $50,000, depending on the complexity of the website and the features required.
4. Plugins and Extensions
Some plugins or extensions charge extra for adding new features. Same is the case with basic plugins like SEO tools. But the price for more advanced options (i.e. better security capabilities, analytics tools or specialized payment solutions) starts from $10 and can reach as high as $200 per plugin.
5. Payment Gateway Fees
Payment processors (e.g. PayPal or Stripe) incur a 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee on sales I know that this does not seem like a big deal, but all these little things start to add up as you grow the size of your sales volume. So, you need to account for these ongoing expenses as part of your budget.
Ongoing Costs: What to Expect After Launch
Once your e-commerce website is live, additional expenses will arise. Here’s what to prepare for:
1. Maintenance and Updates
Websites require regular updates and maintenance to ensure they function smoothly and remain secure. Depending on your site’s complexity, you should budget between $100 to $500 per month for maintenance. Ignoring these updates can lead to costly problems down the road, such as security breaches or technical failures.
2. Marketing Costs
For sure you want people to visit and buy at your e-commerce site, so traffic is very important. Marketing activities like search engine optimization (search engine marketing), social media advertising, and email campaigns can cost as low as a few hundred dollars and high to thousands. A badly marketed website is just a beautiful place on the internet.
3. Inventory Costs
If you sell physical products, inventory costs will likely be one of your largest expenses. The amount you spend will depend on the type of products you sell and the quantity you keep in stock. Efficient inventory management is crucial to avoid overstocking or stockouts, both of which can hurt your bottom line.
Conclusion:
Developing an e-commerce website can be one of the more expensive investments for your business ranging from a few hundred bucks to tens of thousands. All you need is to be able to anticipate well and realize every detail of the ways involved. Then, you can use this information to make decisions that are good for your customers and has a real impact on price.

You know I thought Woodcutting was going to be the way to make money in OSRS but it's really not compared to something like fishing.
Consider the following: At level 10 fishing you can use a rod and bait to get Herring and Sardines, Herring sell for roughly 140 (the same price as normal wood logs) and Sardines sell for roughly 80 (the same price as the ash you get from burning logs) both uncooked, in fact cooking them lowers the value (not entirely sure why? I assume it has to do with buying them for cooking EXP).
You need bait to catch them, but bait on the high end can be bought for 5 gp a piece; so even if you only catch Sardines you still make a 75 gp profit per catch.
There's a bank in Al Kharid with a fishing spot just south of it, literally visible on the same screen as the bank. No need to run, in fact it's shorter travel time than the Oak trees. Even if you run out of bait somehow, you can always use a small fishing net to bank Anchovies here. Which raw go for 28 and cooked go for around 50 a piece. Which isn't quite as much as the 140 - 150 a piece Herrings; but considering Fishing is a totally automated system that can grant multiple catches from a single click you're doing less manual work than you are cutting down each individual tree for literally the same profit.
The trick is to buy something like 1k bait ahead of time. Home tele to Lumbridge and take the gate to Al Kharid. Run down to the bank and start fishing; just drop all your fish in the bank as necessary. Once you've exhausted your 1k bait grab some runes from your bank and tele back to Varrock, sell them at the GE and simply Home tele back to Lumbridge, it's going to take more than 30 minutes to use up all that bait.
Consider the following: If we spend 5 gp on each piece of bait that's a total of 5k spent on bait. That doesn't SEEM like a great investment considering a full inventory of wood logs comes out to just about 4k. However remember that if we only catch the lowest possible sell profit of Sardines we're coming out +75 gp per catch. So let's say we catch 1,000 sardines; since it doesn't seem like baiting a fishing spot can fail. That 5k just became a PROFIT (so not you know, total value, but how much you actually make back) of 75,000 gp. If we instead look at max profit from Herring which can sell for around 140 we're realizing that the profit goes from 75 to 135 or a total profit value of 135,000 gp profit from 1k bait fishing in the easiest fishing location.
All the while getting more EXP in fishing so we can fish at better locations. Though admittedly the proximity to the bank in Al Kharid makes this one specific location extremely fast for profit fishing. Not to mention the only fish that sells for more without membership is Swordfish, when specifically cooked which sells for 225. This requires Lv 50 in Fishing and Lv 45 in Cooking. All in all, the best profit to time I can see for fishing actually only requires level 10, a fishing rod; and some bait. With every 1 bait being a profit value of 75-135 gp.
Now technically speaking this does mean I'm making less per inventory batch. Since with a fishing rod and bait I only have 26 slots and with a full inventory of Sardines I'm only making a profit of roughly 1,950 gp depending on the actual sale price given that the GE tends to fluctuate a bit and underselling can actually assure a sale much faster than waiting for an eventual sale. Which as a non-member only having 3 sale slots fast selling means higher profit turnaround. However it's undeniable that fishing is much faster to get results than obtaining a full inventory of Oak logs, burning them all; collecting the ashes and selling them for roughly 10-20 gp more per batch.
This is all amplified by the fact that fishing is ultimately automated to the point I can pretty much just click off to the fishing spot every minute or two and wait until I either hear the sound of my inventory being full or until I notice that my character is no longer fishing as the spot has moved.
Considering I need to make around 9m to get even a single bond, the idea seems much more automated than manually chopping wood for hours for a marginal increase in profits.
It's very funny to me to think about how I used to play OSRS when I was a child, back when it was just "RS" I would do a bunch of quests, mine and forge the higher tiers of armor; explore the world and actually work on my skills. Now as a adult playing this game, I recognize how much I can get through by just having enough gold.
There is plenty you can't just skip over, and I like that; I still need to engage with the world and it's mechanics and such. However, for the most part my attention has been set to making money rather than doing quests or even improving my skills outside of what might be necessary to open new potential money making methods.
I did quests to get enough quest points to sell better things at the GE, I leveled woodcutting and fishing to obtain the ability to make more money with those respective skills. Hell I even leveled my combat skills specifically so I could walk through otherwise hostile locations to get to these money making spots without having to worry about things attacking me, since I believe it's if you're twice the level of a hostile mob they won't attack you unless provoked.
I can't emphasize enough that this isn't a bad thing, if anything the idea of playing OSRS as a sort of "numbers go up money making game" is very enjoyable to me.

Well he made up the idea and he wants to say it's a tattoo pen from Elroy and John Belushi The blues Brothers and yeah his name is different but he can't remember the stage name of the second guy and it's really John Belushi too it's the same guy so they were going to put their image on 101 shoulder one or the other and the busier Elroy or bust okay. They're threatening but okay. And he says but they're kind of fade away but the pain is going to go on sale and they might put a blues brother version out if if they want to participate
They're saying yes they do so we'll send the paperwork
And John Belushi wants when we turn it and he's in his boxer shorts and wife feed her t-shirt not the suit and Elroy wants the same but different makeup for the colors and combination
-and we have a winner the number of morlock lost last night through today it's like 45% roughly 40 to 45% of what was remaining and that's a huge one but about 20% went to the island and that's much better than losing all that
-and so there's a lot else going on and they were other people who are injured and hit I would not really publishing that right now because the well I could have taken center stage there's other things happening too other than that they tried to attack and they lost about 15 trillion that's factored into the number and the other incidents
-coming around one of them is there were several incidents in the woods well that's what we're talking about but they had fires and then put them out and they started to get angry I'll have some teams out to grab them all and it turned into a nightmare.
-there was a big huge fire out there and they got mad and ran out there with big huge numbers and it was crazy so they started a tax in the Western hemisphere on basis the morlock had 20 large bases this morning had 10 left in the Western hemisphere and they began strikes on them and now they have three left and they had a 30 medium this morning and now they have 15 medium but the remaining 10 large are but at 50% the remaining 15 medium are at 20% capacity very low and there are 300 small and now there's 150 the other 150 are completely destroyed. Happens out there there's a few other things to figure out there was a tragic loss today on the max side it's in the news I'm here struck by a car in a very bad way okay no it wasn't a Mac it was a trump it is a grandson and a famous One he's spending a lot of films my son would know the actress name he's used to but he was a pretty big figurehead and he was killed by a clone who built a bomb around his neck and they do that quite a bit and it's in several movies and Schwarzenegger against caught and he has one to fix to him and they managed to get it off but these are horrible people and we have to man up now
-there are several other things that have been happening on our happening there is a giant number of people who are jumping on the bandwagon to insult our son usually during the day and today it was a big crowd leaving Walmart and he ran in front of him with the bike it took off it was in violent they're just coming out there to spew and say stupid things and make him feel bad it was really weird I'm so he avoided but you know everyday over and over there is this constant droning that they do and they have to stop it and they lost big time and they were doing it to try to win and he's like well not one of them but okay and just starting to see something the kind of in there and it sort of getting something doesn't make a ton of sense so they're going to try and modify their behavior a little and this is a sport fisher boat it says a little bigger and good and it's true it's not really huge it's good for inland waterways she says it too but she doesn't want to go out there so it's a great boat and he says just a little bit bigger for inland it doesn't hurt to have a big one to go inland waterways so there's kind of deep anyways now and there's like a 25 and he's thinking maybe 30 34 and she agrees it's a little bit nicer but they're going to be bigger.
-and there are several other things happening and one of them is that the clones are trying to get here and they're trying to get here with ships and other and it is a nightmare for a lot of people because it's a war and they have decent ships the max and actually Stan and the morlock will have to because they're holding some area and some of it is out here and they're going to be surprised and it's going to start shortly and he has a bunch of ships that were here offshore over here and they kind of left one by one
-it happens to be a number of people that are being obscene to our son and we mean it and they lost it and they no longer can hold it we know why they're injured badly and they're going to be kept away. Any appreciates it and it says to them you're probably rebels and you should go try and make yourself some useful and it's helpful for you and yours and they get it if you can't resist your own people are going to suffer so
-it's a couple other things the living situation is not good and his health is usually teetering and it's not very nice we're afraid to look for him a lot of times and today was one of them a big one it was handled but it happens far too often and it's kind of a horrible thing but we're putting in for a better digs and other because he deserves it and his bed is nice he says can't complain and his butt was sinking into his other one anyways but really this is a much different bed he says it doesn't have those metal lines his feeling every spring and it felt like a line just stopping his blood circulation one day he woke up it was numb is afraid of it his arm and leg and it's kind of that way but yeah I'm putting in for that I'm actually putting in this time and today's work was very good and they're going to be surprised and we understand it
-there are several more things that are happening the rude people are starting to feel that they were wrong on the losing so many people the number 45% is off of numbers from probably two weeks ago or one week ago and really the numbers from that time or about 70% of what they were so really they're down pretty far and it's going and dipping and they can't seem to get here and they keep sending people they don't make it on the ocean and they're not making it here on land
-we're clearing out crabs and bugs and giant fish whales sharks all sorts of sea creatures are way too big and bugs on land are being cleared out and there are quite a few of them and says it looks like a squirrel moving in and it's over though harbor it's true and there are a few other things
-the Charlotte Charlotte harbor is clearing we got the 4 ft all the way to the bridge this morning high tide is 6:15 or 6:18 that's right now in about 1 hour it's going to start breaking and moving and yeah you should probably be somewhere else that's a pretty big drop and it's a lot of flow and stuff Will come sailing by boats and stuff people who knows
-and it'll break loose some of the canals it's a good time for him to go to pick something up he needs or might need and and it is a interesting time to do that
-more so a couple other things happening and it is that he is being hit on by girls a little bit and some of them are using their heads a little not much it's not much of an effort and I'm not sure if it's true and that kind of thing and he has some time to go before he grows but the canals are down a foot and a half last night about 6 in more and it's good to drop a total of 4 ft and it's all muck and we expected to drop a foot this time hopefully so he needs some coconut water so it's right now at two and a half feet left
-huge numbers of people I know this is kind of choking and he doesn't know what it is I think he's healing he's got that problem where it's building up again it's coming out slowly though and there's an injury suffered from the motorcycle accident and it was very hard he hit it pretty hard and he knows it and they didn't either we didn't let people notice it good
-there's a lot of people here suffering they have loss of power they're getting aggressive with people each other and a son mostly the max to threaten them into helping them and they've done it for a long time and the max are getting pissed off at them pretty soon they're going to start breaking them and bring them in
-there's a huge number of them doing it all over the place.
-cruising evacuation on and it's beginning shortly we'll start within the hour it's tremendous we think it's 10 more percent of their population that we're going to be up to 55% yes that's a big number if you said just the people who are not on the island because their represent around 20% we would be up to about 68% and tonight would bring 78% and we should probably do it that way in other words if they evacuate 10% more it's a giant giant number it's like 300 trillion people or 200 trillion people they're only be 22% left off the islands of the morlock population but as compared to the general population it would be 3% or less and that is very small compared to what they were but they've been that small and they think they're going to adapt they might
I'm going to published we had a lot of important stuff
Thor Freya
Get a lot of funny looks a lot of people wondering what's going on but really my husband looks normal is just sitting there talking and doing the job and mostly people have seen having them say stuff that's not bad yeah it's raining in the harbor and so it might be time to get out cuz it's going to start raining nearby

10 Anti LO Asks
1. im sorry i just noticed the "her butt looks like an upside down heart" panel (which is already gross lmao i hate him) literally just looks like a ball sack 💀 like what is this??? kids read this??
2. FHGSKDFDS i love the ppl who are like 'well the art sucks anyway that could explain why the pay is so bad' like?? 😭
3. Smythe's treatment of the Minthe story is so bizarre. Minthe is a low-ranking nymph, Persephone is among the most important gods, a child of Zeus. The idea that Minthe is a genuine threat to someone like Persephone and cheering for her demise is so odd, it's like claiming that mortal Semele could ever have the upper hand in a rivalry with Hera, the queen of gods. The power imbalance is insane and it's weird that this is hailed as a yass queen moment for her, like Minthe ever stood a chance
-----
From OP: To clarify, the assistant would have to do 20 panels for a week (from what was stated). However, it definitely has to be done before a week since it has to be ready by Sunday. With the pay of $450 USD total, that’s $22.50 per panel. I think the assistant would spend 30 - 45 min per panel if RS is hiring someone who can do it fast.
I’m iffy on the payment but I still need to clarify because I feel some of these asks have some misleading information or misinterpreted the post in this next section.
-----
4. im sorry but rachel going "i work 150 hours a week on LO!" is such bullshit lmao. girl if youre spending that much time on it why does it look that bad then? also if it takes that much work then the ppl should be paid MORE for it, not under min wage like she's trying 💀 also thats basically admitting shes fine with subpar and even bad work when its like ... girl just take a few months off, the terminally online persona aint working.
5. rachel doubling down saying each LO ep is 60 panels and how she spends 150+ hrs on it a week is so like ... ma'am you know that makes you look worse, right?? especially bc we know damn well shes not doing all this extra stuff she claims (lettering, backgrounds, shading, inking, panelling, etc) so like??? is she just admitting she's bad at time management??? bc if she actually (or rlly her team) spend that much time a week on an ep and it still looks like That after all of it... 🤡
6. you know what the nastiest part is about this pay discourse? rachel is purposely ONLY posting this on her social media instead of through actual artist scouting, because she knows theyd laugh at how much work shes demanding for such little pay, but her fans would do anything to "be friends" with her, so they wont question her or her actions. this is so shady of her to do.
7. rachel should prove the haters wrong and actually do the art instead of having five other people who get no character sheets and only sketches to work off of and paying damn near nothing for it, that'll show em.
8. tbh the most insidious part about rachel scamming her fans out of work is that we know not only will they not get a cent out of the FP money, but eventually she'll put them in a print book, meaning she'll be making even MORE money off their work, while they don't get a cent from it. more so, unlike other comics with actual backgrounds, VFX, lettering, etc, lineart and flats are the ONLY thing that goes into LO, so they are quite literally doing all her work. i'm disappointed by unsurprised.
From OP: You know, that’s actually a really good point. Especially if they aren’t going to be a long term artist.
9. the amount of LO stans defending how badly rachel is paying and then going "id work for free just to brag i worked with her!" is so??? bad??? just because you like LO does not mean you should let her pay so low or even get free work out of you, bc at the end of the day SHE is getting all the fp money, the merch sales, and eventually she'll put that underpriced work in a book and make even more money off of it while you get nothing out of it. shes banking off "for exposure" instead of actual pay.
10. rachel deleting her tweet showing shes shit at paying for labor only she benefits from and being roasted in the QRTS about it ... name a more iconic duo than her and her easily bruised ego, ill wait.

The Arcana Review* Edited!
[ID: Banner image featuring the text "The Arcana Review" along the bottom. In the background images of the six romanceable characters in this game.] (TL;DR at the end)
So it has been a while since I have written a review about a game. However, "The Arcana" had been recommended to me so many times, I finally decided to try it out. This is just my opinion, of the game. [Edit 1. It has been brought to my attention that all my issues could be fixed by modding the game. Yes. Yes it could. But I do not like these sorts of workarounds because these sorts of workarounds should not have to exist.] Pro: ✔ The Art is incredible, it's such a pleasing and cohesive style. ✔ The music is wonderful. ✔ The writing is good, I do truly love the world that they have built and the characters living within the world. ✔ The theme of the Tarot Cards is wonderful, it's not just a one-off gimmick like I had assumed it would be. ✔ Choose your own pronouns, She/Her, He/Him, They/Them. ✔ LGBT romances. ✔ Free to play Cons:
❌ Gambling mechanics exist in this game for you to earn premium currencies. Wish somebody had warned me (an addict) about that in this "visual novel". ❌ The cost of the premium currencies (keys and coins) of this game ❌ The sheer time investment if you cannot afford to pay. ❌ The fact that you have to watch thirty-second plus advertisements to get 50 coins (which isn't a lot). ❌ If you can't pay the price of the currencies or have watched five advertisements for 250 gold coins (which isn't much) and have used up all your keys for the day (yes twenty-four hours) then you either have to wait until the next day OR hope that Nix Hydra (the company) is doing a special social media event for you to earn even more coins/keys.
The company in response to other people's complaints (reviews on Google Play Store) actually suggests looking on their social media for these special events or doing "daily events" which is gambling. Which as an addict is not good!
I need to point out how expensive this game is! It infuriates me!
I am more used to visual novels that I can pay a flat rate for. I pay £20 and I get the complete the story, maybe there will be paid DLC for a further £5 but even then that is fucking cheaper and less time-consuming than this game. Unless you are willing to spend obscene amounts of money you cannot sit down with this visual novel/game and play through an entire romance route in one day. You cannot play it on your time, you have to wait if you cannot pay. To give an example: I played Lucio's route. To unlock "Special events" that I thought were just standard romance moments between you and the character in these types of visual novels you can pay anywhere between 150-275 coins per event. I calculated the cost of Lucio's route (only his route there are six routes each with a good/bad ending) and his two endings. (This does not include paid bonus content and additional content. Just the main story romance story route) 6975 gold coins. For one route. One character. Once you paid for it you have it. To "Save money" you can "buy a book" (which is essentially a chapter of this story) for 350 gold coins, that permanently unlock that book. This means you spend 4900 gold coins to permanently unlock all the chapters of this story. (This rate do not include the ending, but I cannot afford to pay for keys, so I am waiting for more free keys. I do not know if you need to pay anything in the endings.) But what does that mean? To put in context, if you do buy gold coins, you would have to pay for a bundle of coins.
7500 coins would cost me £93.99 3000 coins would cost me £35.99 1500 coins would cost me £18.49 750 coins would cost me £8.99 375 coins would cost me £4.59 150 coins would cost me £1.79 This is for one character. There are six characters. Six. On top of that, you get (I assume) 3 free keys in a 24-hour period by waiting 3 hours for each key to be given to you. You might get more in a 24-hour period. I don't know. But you need a key to unlock a "book" and yes you can buy keys with money. 5 keys would cost me £1.59 14 keys would cost me £4.29 30 keys would cost me £8.49 65 keys would cost me £16.99 If you want to unlock all the books at once, you would need to buy the 14 key package. All the keys do is let you progress the story. But once you have read through a route, I believe you can go back and re-read it for free. So no, you do not have to spend that money again if you want to re-read the character route. So let us say I buy 5250 gold coins plus the 14 keys that would cost me £67.76. For one character route, if I want to unlock all the romantic moments/memories. Otherwise, I can just plough through with the basic bare-bones romance. I did actually pay for 1500 gold coins to unlock some of these romantic moments, and they are significantly better than the free stuff. I would have to spend in excess of £400 to unlock all the character routes in their complete form, If i wished to experience this game like a visual novel and read over the weekend. OR I could wait for those 5 adverts to return, earning 250 gold coins for the cost of maybe 3 minutes of my time and wait 3 hours for each new key or hope that Nix Hydra is doing a sale on keys/coins. To put this in context, I was also recently recommended "When the Night Comes" by Lunaris Games. While I prefer the art of "The Arcana" When the Night Comes allows me to play a complete game. I paid £9.47 (the base rate, you can offer to pay more if you wish) for a complete story which included bonus side stories. As for the gambling mechanics THAT NOBODY WARNED ME ABOUT!!! Though I should have expected it from a free game, I never expected to see it in a visual novel! It just pisses me off that so many people recommended this game. It truly is a good story/characters/world and I love Lucio. But fuck! Don't give me that "You don't have to spend money" crap. I know that. But do you seriously expect people to invest so much time and wait just to unlock the next chapter of a story?!!!
[Edit 2. So I time travelled! I do not know if this affected the outcome for my daily 'spin the wheel' results. But it took me almost three months to collect enough free coins. You earn the least amount I think 70 coins on day 1 and 240 coins on day 7 after day 7 it resets to 1. It took me over 2 months to collect enough coins to permanantly unlock all of Lucio's chapters. Including the coins I bought with actual money. You also earn 1 key every three hours. So yeah.] TL;DR | No I do not recommend this game. Fuck this expensive shit. Great art, story and characters though.

prices - page 2 for mobile
please read the guidelines too, I say what I will do, what I won’t do, and explain very important things. this page was divided due to eccessive html that was breaking the post. for types of rp icons and screencaps, here.
note: I get all sort of fees from changing money to transferring it because paypal taxes everything, therefore it seems fair to “raise” the price if you pay in usd, considering this is the actual difference:
and paypal does this:
+takes fees from ko-fi.
So, for example, looking at my most expensive type of icons, the 7th C, because the difference seems to be the biggest, you’ll find:
between 100 and 199 icons: 0.15 euro / 0.19 usd. For example for 150 icons would be at 22.5 euro / 28.7 usd instead of 30 euro / 45 usd.
this may look a big difference on paper. In reality 0,15 euro are 0.18 dollars, and 22.5 euros does equal to 27.65. If I made you pay 0.18 I’d lose money because paypal takes a fee when changing it in euro, this way I only lose a tiny bit if any.
200 icons of type c? 0.03 euro / 0.041 usd for each, so it will be 6 euro / 8.2 usd. 6 euros actually equals to 7.3 dollars so I’m barely covering the fee.
ARE THERE ANY SALES/DISCOUNTS?
yes!
-since Jan 1st, icons from type 7 to type 10 will get a 10% discount on the final price, ‘til date to be determined!
-starter pack of at least 100 icons of any kind (except the base one, in which case it’s 200 icons because the first 100 are free) with psd or not, at least 2 banners, a header = gets you a 15% discount on the final price on top of whatever other discount you can get buying more things that have one, like the psds.
-banners have their own built-in discounts, see below. So do psd, after 100 icons the price is 50% off.
-you’ll find under every icon type the price for each but also the discount for bigger batches of icons, which grows as they go.
now you’ll find:
dash icons
psds
banners and a first draft of headers
examples of math done for a request
Currently I don't have promos nor themes backgrounds here because I'm still preparing examples/seeing what I can do and not do. Same goes for custom html and more things. However you can check my sidebar for links to first promos/theme backgrounds and prices for those "models".
dash icons
are 0.2 euro/0.3 usd each if you are buying something else too, you can request transparent ones with something in the background, or pattern backgrounds or special shapes, shadows and glows. If you want all of the above it’s 0.4 euro/0.6 usd. Because paypal would take most of it, if you are ONLY buying dash icons I will make you five for you to choose and keep, so a pack is either 1 or 2 euros / 1.5 or 3 usd, depending on your choices.
random examples:
more to be added. free samples here.
my psds, learned thanks to octomoosey’s tutorials.
If you want me to add them to the icons it will be one 0.02 euros/0.025 usd more for every icon (2 euro / 2.5 usd every 100) After the first 100 icons, the rest of the psd price will be cut in a half. 150 psds for your icons would cost 2.5 euro / 3.12 usd instead of 3 euro / 3.75 usd.
-the price stays the same if you offer the icons, seeing as it’s about making the psd, then adding and adjusting the psd to each icon. (pre-made icons must be made by you or by someone who gave you permission to edit. If you credit me somewhere please make clear I only offered the psd).
for free samples simply check the tags /psd-a , /psd-b etc.
j, k and l have a gradient too so there are several examples to show how it changes images depending on the original coloring
more to be added.
banners
You can find the examples here
Also general banners I make and share in ‘my banners’ tag.
-1 euro/2.5 usd for each static banner, can be done in similar style or with changes (for example one has a rectangular avatar, one has an oval one).
-2 euros/3.5 usd for each with overlay.
-4 euro/5.5 usd for each with gif.
I’m thinking that a ‘pack’ could be of five: starter call, open starter, plotting call, headcanons, answers. If you take five or more (those 5 or you may need a different banner I’m not thinking of, like an ooc banner instead of a open starter one? up to you), you get a 10% discount on the final price. -after the first five banners, each additional secondary banner for a different verse will be 40% off; consider that it will likely need different images and colors from the other verse one, so it’s a different new banner. If you want the same identical one and just the name of the verse changes, it will be only 0.4 euro/0.8 usd.
We’ll need to discuss colors, images, borders, glows, shadows, your url/character name and whatever else you want in it, I want them to be as close as what you want as possible.
headers
I am currently deciding what I can offer, you can see what I have done up until now with headers here. I know I can offer far more options, but if you already like those (and again, obvously it will be a back and forth, you can ask for your url, quotes, tell me whether to add something or not to what I’ll show you) I think it’s safe to say that I’ll ask:
-3 euros/4.5 usd for a header, static or with overlay.
-5 euro/ 6.5 usd for a header with gif.
-7 euro / 8.5 usd for a header with double overlay or gif + overlay. 1 additional euro/2 additional usd for any more gifs or overlays you may want on top
shapes and how many borders/’things’ to add on the basic icon you want will determine in which category the icon you have requested falls and therefore how much it costs.
examples:
“Ele, can you make me 150 of your 100px circle icons with semi-transparent border exactly like in 5c, but with your psd H? Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan in episodes 5x8 or 2x9 or 5x10 or all of them...”
“Sure, once I’m done it it will be 12.25 euro (9,75 for the icons + 2.5 for psd)/ 15,87 usd (12.75 usd for icons + 3.12 for psd). I’ll make you a few examples so you can tell me if it’s okay or I need to change something”
“Oh I can’t spend more than 10 euro/12 usd!”
“okay, so if you want at least 150 icons with psd you have to put aside 2.5 euro/3.12 usd for it, so let’s see which ones you can get for 7.5 euro or 8.8 usd... up until type 3″ (type 3 in usd is 9.03 but I’ll throw in a few icons for free)
Feel free to ask me questions about ANYTHING! If you want to ask if I can take a commission now (but read my guidelines first!) and you are at loss of what to say, I’d suggest a ‘hi Ele, can you take commissions? I’d need at least X icons (or ‘I don’t know how many icons yet, let’s talk about it later’) of this fc, possibly from these movie/episodes’ this way even if timezones keep us apart I’ll be able to check as soon as possible if I can find resources to do it, if I have the time, etc and come back to discuss aesthetic with you and if maybe there aren’t enough usable caps to make icons depending on their quality and whether you only want close shots or not. Ims, ask and submit are all available. Everything else doesn’t require me looking for many screencaps as icons do, so you can just check 'hey are you open for banners commissions?’ (for example) and later I’ll come ask you about what you’d like. If you see me online after you send the ask and I haven’t replied even just with a 'sorry, super busy now but I’ll get back to you asap’ (probably because looking after my grandfather or too sick to sit up) I didn’t get the ask, try ims or submit or anything because I will not ignore you. I’ll make a commission form soon so I won’t risk losing anything and we’ll skip having to wait for the other to be online, at least for those first details.

i was really annoyed about the privé thing too 😩 if i knew they were gonna bring out those two photocards after the film card i would’ve waited to buy, since like you said, it’s not really a photocard. i thought that after the sale and the film card & 1 x pc promo was over they’d go back to the 2 x pc, but that was obviously dumbass wishful thinking on my part. and now the new one. i’m so tired hfhdkhd
while i’m here, do you have any tips for collecting? i haven’t been collecting long and usually just use ebay to find cards bc idk what i’m doing :’)
EXACTLY! ugh... isn’t it blatantly obvious they changed the promo just to make people spend more money to get both of the photocards? like???? hello??!? the audacity??? i’m so sorry you’re just as frustrated as i am but at least we aren’t alone ;;
as far as tips go for collecting-- use twitter! ebay is where sellers go to rip people off and where collectors go to waste money! it’s a great place to start and you should !!definitely!! check it because it is still possible to get great deals there, but really keep in mind that the majority of people who sell baekhyun cards are looking to make a profit from them. as a general rule, his album cards shouldn’t be more than $10-$12 max (aside from mama a and obsession kihno), and non-album cards shouldn’t be more than $30 max (or more than the price of the merch they accompanied). there are many exceptions to this of course since there are a handful that are either rare or especially difficult to obtain (lucky box, sssm halloween, jopping and exploration lenticulars, visa prepaids), came with expensive merchandise (prive, 3d figure, quad million medal, cbx ladder japan dvds), accompanied a concert or limited promo (elyxion access cards, global package cards, crush u), or are very beloved and highly coveted (smile box, exo’rdium live album, snackbag, superm pop up raincoat, kyoongday venue, clevos for example).
on twitter, you can search the tags “wts exo” “wts baekhyun” + your country to find group order managers (goms) who open claims for large photocard lots they purchase from ksellers on behalf of their buyers, or listings by other fans who are selling their own cards. prices tend to be much more reasonable as well! it’s quite a bit riskier than ebay since most sellers want payment sent through paypal friends and family, but most sellers have feedback tags that you can scroll through to see if they’re legit or not! you can also search the tags without the country code to see what’s for sale globally-- many sellers from singapore and malaysia in particular are willing to ship worldwide as long as you’re willing to pay shipping! if you want to get photocards for extremely cheap, you can venture into ksellers’ listings with the tags “억소 포카" or “백현 포카". most ksellers require a kaddress and only accept payment through a korean bank account but it’s possible to set them up through sevices like korgou/paysable that offer package forwarding to your country!
pc collecting is such an adventure and there’s DEFINITELY a very steep learning curve! it can be really overwhelming when you’re new to the marketplace, especially as an international fan, but the only way to become a savvy buyer is through experience! over the years, i’ve bought fake cards, gotten scammed, had my mailman misdeliver international packages, had a seller accept my payment only to turn around and demand more money, had a gom lose a $150 photocard and ghost me, had a seller not ship my cards for 5 months... it’s crazy what can happen! but it makes it all the more enjoyable when you add a new baby to the collection!
please!!! feel free to message me ANY TIME here or on twitter if you have any question at all or even just to chat! i spend as much time collecting pcs as i do on giffing and i am EXTREMELY passionate about empowering bbh-l’s to demand fair prices for cards and to make wise investments in cards. baekhyun is one of the most expensive idols to collect and his cards retain and increase in value, so the less you spend collecting, the better investment you’ve made! more than anything, PATIENCE is the most important piece of advice i can give to any collector. cards will always come up for sale again, and they eventually come up for a lower price. happy collecting!
