Metadede week: AU

so when i was 12/13 i created a kirby au called "Headcanon Overdose Alternate Universe", abbreviated to "HCODAU", where i was just having too much fun with metadad & creating backstories & some worldbuilding i just decided to create an au for all that stuff without worrying about canon. the writing quality is about as good as you can imagine would come out of a tween. Actual soap opera levels of drama. the main thing i focused on for HCODAU was meta & dedede, who were childhood friends as depicted here with the old designs i used then, & oh man the rest of the story decisions i made were insane. for some reason since meta adopted kirby as soon as he arrived, i thought it'd make ""more sense"" if dedede was never a jerk/rival to him & the events of the very first game just.. never happened ? ? ? & captain vul was a jerk towards kirby instead ? ? also adeleine was secretly a fairy ? ? kracko flooded halcandra ? ? kirby became evil when he got older ? ? there's so much more crazy stuff in there but i think i should stop. anyway this is a lil moment in a fic i created around that time where prince dedede introduces meta to sweets.he was never the same afterwards

Now that I'm a good ¾ of the way through one piece I'm gonna complain about something that's kinda been bugging me; I don't like how little time the crew has actually been together - and I'm not saying this in the they get split up each island type way I mean in more the Brook was on that ship for a week before the 2 year gap and its not like the rest of the crew is much better from what I can gather from the time Luffy first met zoro til they arrived on sabaody about 6 months had passed if we're being generous I don't know something about the fact that usopp spent more time with that bug man then his crew annoys me so much

NOW HEAR ME OUT i just think that WHILE kusuke was digging around in toritsuka's head, looking at all that impulsiveness and the honesty that only his little brother manages to force out of this piece of shit, wouldn't it just be SO kusuke to try to turn all those feelings tori has for kusuo back onto him... a little puppy crush, nothing kusuke would ever act on (obviously. he's better than that.). just something to leave tori itchy, to make him stare at kusuo and wonder why those feelings have started to ring unfamiliar, a little deja vu, because i think kusuke does, fundamentally, view tori as just another one of kusuo's toys. and if kusuke can't have what kusuo does, then he has to break it.
