did form a relentless (at times one-sided) rivalry that often went way too far with severus snape though, i’ll give you that

I love this fandom for what we bring to it - I am in love with versions of canon so much more character-driven and more interesting and the ONLY reason I'm still in this fandom is for the hcs and the fic and the fanart and the meta.

And yes that's one of the biggest saddest things about this whole issue. I talk to my friends about this sometimes, and she always beats down on the series for its writing problems while I have to say, like - no MATTER how good/bad it was. We loved it so very much because it was fun and magic was cool or maybe our friends liked it or whatever. Weird kids unite, or something. And now we can barely even touch that part of our childhood without feeling guilt over it. I always wanted to join Pottermore or play Hogwarts Legacy years ago when it came out, never ended up doing it. I always wanted to earn enough money to buy merch for myself and now I can't even bring myself to dig out my old kid's Harry Potter costume for halloween. I dreamt of having my own place someday or expanding the family with a list of books to introduce them to, like PJO, the hunger games, pride and prejudice, copper sunrise (and maybe sign of the beaver, I never finished it so I'm not too sure about that one), dianne wyne jones and liz kessler books, haikyuu manga, etc. I always - I always thought harry potter could be something I could hand down from my childhood to theirs, even pointing out the problems along the way. But I could never, anymore. No matter the work of thousands of people that have made the franchise what it is - all the movies, the merchandise, etc. - who put their love and time into harry potter that's just - yeah, radioactive now.

And all of this, too. I know enough about Ilvermorny to know I'd probably be a Thunderbird but as soon as I read about it's history I was just immediately like - nah, bro. No way. Absolutely no way their magic system works like that. The traditional european methods of schooling don't even make sense for nomadic tribes. In such a world you're assuming that there are already issues with colonisation and completely ignoring the prior existence and culture of their magic system. You had such an amazing, powerful chance to explore history and do indigenous cultures some modicum of justice, and you just ... didn't.

and, again - why go to the trouble of planning out an even WORSE answer to your worldbuilding problems? If she hadn't said anything, ppl would prob assume there's schools for every country, maybe more in the cases of indigenous tribes (esp in the great north) and larger population, highly ethnically diverse countries like india. instead, she went to the trouble of SPECIFYING that there are only 10 schools of magic. What, is the magical population that low? If yes, WHY? 2-layer worldbuilding, my guy. It's not an uncommon writing tip.

And, right now, that’s exactly what you were doing, running your hands through his soft hair while you guys cuddled in the Gryffindor common room.

It was around 12AM, and usually you two would be asleep right now, but your brain had decided to give you nightmares, and your boyfriend decided to make you feel better.

“Nev?” You softly asked, nuzzling your face into his hair, “Are you awake?”

He turned around to face you, tiredly smiling.

As you braided his hair, you were obsessing over how soft and wavy it was. If you could, you would run your hands through it forever, and you really wanted to.

I'm so sorry this has been sitting for a few days, I'm stupid and it took me a HOT minute to realize hp is Harry Potter (at least I hope it is cause I'm answering it as such) Also, these are just my own opinions and of course everyone is entitled to their own thoughts! I believe that most of these characters fit into multiple houses! Also, I'll add if they would play Quidditch or not.

Wednesday: I think a good majority of the fandom would put her in Slytherin and I would agree! However, I do headcanon that she wants to be in Ravenclaw and well, the Sorting Hat had other plans. I also find it funny to think about Wednesday getting placed into Ravenclaw and just being a fucking menace. She was BANNED from Quidditch but with some...convincing she was placed back on the team BUT with the promise that she is NOT allowed to be a Beater, so she becomes the Seeker.

Enid: I almost wanted to place her in Gryffindor, but her whole scene with Wednesday and saying "that's what friends do" and how much she values friendship and togetherness just made me convinced for Hufflepuff. Also, all Hufflepuffs are secretly FERAL and I stand by that. And I also love Slytherin/Hufflepuff relationships. She played for like a year, but was off-put when she broke a nail. She would rather cheer her girlfriend on. Also super cute image to see Enid wearing a Slytherin jersey for Wednesday.

Bianca: I'm so torn between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, just like Wednesday. But at the end of the day, Bianca is also a Slytherin. I mean COME ON. My girl went and made her own life for herself and reached her goals, basically poisoned Yoko to win a cup, and has a million walls up so no one sees her vulnerable. Slytherin. I also like the idea that her and Wednesday go rounds trying to be the top student. Captain of the Slytherin team obviously. She is the best Keeper to ever live.

Eugene: the biggest Hufflepuff to exist. Like I don't need any explanation. I would say that he has avoided Quidditch because he thought he wouldn't be any good, then during his last year he tries it out and turns out, he's a decent Seeker!

Yoko: I need fucking CHARACTERISTICS, MY GIRL DESERVED MORE SCREEN TIME...anyway, for now I want her in Ravenclaw. She would be a witch in the au so no vampire, but I would like to think she's super fucking wise and almost like she's lived for centuries. It also be funny to see Yoko just naturally super smart and it irks Wednesday to no end cause "what do you mean you learned how to do open heart surgery over the weekend?!?" Nah, she ain't down for Quidditch. Just like Enid, she would rather cheer on her own girlfriend than play.

Ajax: Hufflepuff. It's shown in the show that he seems to be loyal to his friends and he just has a very happy-go-lucky vibe about him. I also adore a good platonic Enid/Ajax, so they be the absolute chaotic/idiotic bestie duo that has all of the Hufflepuffs STRESSED. He was also BANNED. Not because of anything violent, but his antics were just too much.

Divina: Again, MY GIRL NEEDS SCREEN TIME. The most we see from her is really just going along with Bianca and being gay with Yoko. That being said, I would like to have her in Gryffindor. Mostly because of Ravenclaw/Gryffindor dynamics. Love the idea of Yoko just trying to chill in the common rooms and her girlfriend is just bouncing off the walls cause "THIS IS SO BORING, I NEED TO FIGHT GOD." Gryffindor Captain. She's a bit of a utility player, mostly does Chaser and Beater.

Kent: My boy also needs more screen time. I want the twins together and I would have them give off Weasley Twin vibes, so Gryffindor as well. I believe that Divina is his impulse control, however where Divina will say she's bored and needs to fight God, Kent will do it without telling ANYONE. He's the reason Gryffindor loses house points consistently. Obviously, he plays. He's a Beater and when the Twins are both the Beaters, absolute chaos during that game.

I mean crackships have always existed in fandoms. The thing with Gw/yn/reil is that it’s one of those noncanon ships where a group of fans insist that it should be canon because they want it, even though the story itself doesn’t give any actual impression that it will. It happens in fandoms before and Gw/yn/reil is the one for ACOTAR books.

Totally, and the bottom line is, you like Gwyn and don't like Elain, that's totally fine. You are free to dislike characters whether the dislike is logical or not.

But at least accept that there is a obvious, dominant ship and that your ship is like a little paper boat. Like, SJM is not going to write all these lusty desires, with offer and permission and both of them wanting each other, just to kill it in the same chapter. I am sorry. No.

If it was the case, while in the POV, we'd be in Azriel's head and he could've had had SOME thoughts about Gwyn which went beyond 'shit it's cold' and 'happy it's an impromptu lesson and i dont have to think about Elain'.

Like, I am not greatly familiar with Harry Potter, because I dont like JKR's writing, but I know that Dramonie is a thing. Cool. Write HC and fanfics about it. But I don't see anyone claiming with 100% certainty that they ended up together (though, honestly, between Draco and Ron, she should've ended up with Draco.)

I am more concerned/upset about Gwynriels hounding artists, reporting them, making them draw Gwynriel...

Literally, Jessdraw.s on Insta was HOUNDED by Gwynriels and doesn't even post Elriel art anymore, or posts it for an hour and then takes it off. Artists have to turn off comments on their Elriel art! Even more popular fanfic writers get hounded and there are demands that they write Gwynriel and it's kind of like, I am sorry, but enough.

Draco is the one to feel insecure most of the time, so when he finds out that you’re the one down in the dumps, he’s all over the place

There are the 5 stages of Grief;

1. Emo Draco™, wherein he pushes you away because he thinks he’s the problem

2. Gossip Draco who makes it his mission to find out what’s up without directly asking you,

3. Stubborn Draco where he denies the things the girls of Slytherin have suggested it to be

“Why would Y/n feel that way? They never feel that way. I wouldn’t let them feel that way because I love them with all my heart.”

Okay so that was a little ooc but you get the point, it’s somethin similar

4. Shy Draco: he gives in...somewhat? He tries to ask you personally what’s up or why you feel a specific way, but he’s still a little iffy.

5. Clingy Draco.

Draco’s way of cheering you up is either skipping classes and cuddling in the dorm rooms or PDA.

That and attempting to make you feel better by telling you his insecurities about what you may think of him but you tell him to shut up and end up doing so yourself with your lips.

He won’t just “hold your hand.”

There will be, LE ARM AROUND WAIST OR SHOULDERS

Basically, he just will be touching you at all times to flaunt your guys’ relationship in a way of saying that he’s not ashamed.

Draco is just horrible at feelings and is trying his best, give the bleach boy a break man

Eventually though, he will become the “proper boyfriend” and force you to have a stress free day.

Stress Free Day includes; all meals in bed, only ever leaving the bed if you want to or if you have to use the loo, as well as Draco cuddling you despite not actually being allowed in the girls’ dorms.

Draco will act all grumpy, but he’s happy you spent a fair amount of time laughing your ass off about the fact that he took advice from Hermione.

At this point we are all making shit up in this HP fandom because the writer that shall not be named fucked up a lot of things...

time-lines... ages... places... people... things...

So... the Potters helped save Sirius after Remus bailed him out, they saw Remus and Sirius get married then Lily, Regie, and James get married, they meet their first-born grandkids; Magnolia, Hermione, Harry, and Cyprus (oc's and Hermione will be explained when I post more one-shots or later when I post the fanfic)... before dying.

Sirius has two other siblings besides just Regulus (and because Cygnus sucks at being a father... Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Andromeda became their sisters... the only nice thing Walburga did. (Pandora Lovegood was Narcissa's twin)

Remus was a mommy's boy because his father blamed himself for everything (when Hope got sick, Lyall grew a pair and decided to try and salvage what little relationship he had left with him)

Peter's mother was a single mom working in the bakery above their basement home.

James was a rambunctious child and his elderly parents could not keep up with him.

The four of them became best friends due to loneliness, chemistry, and similar "traumas" - James took in the three neglected unloved kids and Remus ended up accidentally starting a zoo in fourth year.

(Remus and Sirius had their first kiss at thirteen, don't tell me otherwise... he cherished and loved Remus since he was eleven and finally asked him out when they were fourteen... just a few months shy of becoming animagi for him... realizing his feelings when he frolicked as a wolf-dog with his best friend who happened to also be a wolf... he may have been a dick and might have saw the wolf as something he could fix and cure, but he got over it... he was just a teen after all)

And yeah, Sirius may have almost destroyed their relationship by letting slip about Remus' secret not knowing Snape walked by the library... he quickly realized his mistake because of Euphemia and did his best to make up with them. Hint: it something to do with his family. Hint: they were being dumb teenagers and we all say dumb stupid shit when we are young... we do stupid shit when we are young...

But no one is as lucky as the Marauders were to be able to love each other again after all the shit they put each other through... they lived through a WAR for Merlin's sake! You might have accidentally put your friends through danger too. I am sure there was something you wished you could take away from a friend or a loved one but couldn't, got stuck in your head about it, and didn't realize it until someone slapped you over the head for it.

Moving on...

The Marauders knew about Peter, everyone has a different story to "the prank", Peter is in Azkaban, mostly everyone was gay, Minnie and Poppy were like second moms to everyone, everyone lived, Remus and Lyall still had a sucky relationship but it got better and he went to his dad for EVERYTHING...

We may not agree on everything, we all have different HC's and AU's... but some things we agree on are; JK is not the greatest and Umbridge is worse than Voldemort (even though Tom is pretty fucking nasty as well), and Walburga Black was a bitch.

In other words... I am also slightly saying fuck the timeline and canon because I too, suck at math. (And also the books do not make a whole lot of sense... but I am canon compliant in some ways and you do you if you love canon... that's cool! I got into Harry Potter and Marauders through Pinterest and fanfictions so I already fucked it up for myself... don't come for me!)

A/N : I know this is quite long, that's my first time writing a headcannon, hope y'all enjoy!

That's not my best, but let's give it a try.

Let's start off by saying that 6 years old Dora would be absolutely flabbergasted with the thought of having a younger sister.

You're born and Dora carries you in her so-not-little arms.

Her hair turns pink and so does yours.

but she can't help but being jealous since your parents are spending more time taking care of you.

Over the years, you always looked up to Dora, I mean, she's fantastic.

You bawling your eyes out when she leaves on the hogwarts express for her first year at hogwarts.

Grinning at the letters she sends you telling you about how she morphed into Snape and took points from slytherin.

Fast forward 6 years later you get your hogwarts letter.

Bumping into the Malfoys who mercilessly mock the family but manage to make fun of them behind their backs.

Realizing that Dora is no longer interested in you because she has alot of friends.

Searching in the compartments until you bump into Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.

You three instantly become friends.

Getting sorted into Gryffindor (Main Character Energy lmaoo).

Your hair changes into red.

Dora being absolutely proud of you.

Writing to your mother asking her to make extra special cookies for Harry.

Later this year, a bushy haired Hermione Granger befriending you, Ron and Harry after an unlikely encounter with a mountain troll.

Saving the philosopher's stone at the end of this year and earning house points.

Dora tears up and pulls you into a hug telling you how proud she is.

“I'm so proud of you.”

Ranting about the event all summer to your family.

Next year you go to hogwarts without Dora.

You're completely devastated.

“But you have us.” Ron reassures you.

Going to school with a flying car and almost dying.

Secretly thinking this is the coolest thing you'd ever do.

Andromeda sending you a howler telling you how disappointed she is.

“At least I'll have good stories for my grandchildren.” you grin

Dora sending you a letter gushing about how she'd die to do this.

“Literally you and your friends are bloody wicked.”

Morphing into Gilderoy Lockhart and mimicking him with Fred and George late in the common room.

The chamber of secrets has been opened.

Not being scared but you're anxious.

Malfoy calls Hermione a mudblood.

Standing up to your friend and slapping him on the face.

Ron casts an unsuccessful spell on Malfoy that backfires on him.

You helping him up and making sure you bump Malfoy's shoulder.

Muggleborns are being petrified.

Morphing into Pansy Parkinson so you'd interrogate Malfoy about the chamber of secrets.

Standing up for Harry whenever someone mocks him or blames him for the muggleborns who are being petrified.

“Shove off before I kick your arse.”

Saving Ginny after being dragged to the chamber of secrets.

Earning special services awards this year.

Murder on the loose.

Seeing a big black dog in your backyard.

Andromeda ushers you away before she whispers something to the dog.

The dog runs away.

“Wasn't he a gryffindor mum?”

“Yes dear, but not all gryffindors are good”

“But he ran away from the family”

“He betrayed me”

Dora is still in auror training.

You rarely see her.

You write letters that she doesn't always return.

But no matter what, she's still in your heart.

The dementor on the train revives memories of last year.

Your hair turns white from pure fear.

Professor Lupin being the best DADA teacher you've ever had.

Your boggart is a woman that resembles your mother alot, but she's nothing like her.

Your heart sinking when Bellatrix Lestrange steps out of the wardrobe.

“She vowed to murder all of us.” your mother's voice rings in your ears.

“who the hell are the marauders?”

“We don't know, but we owe them alot.”

Wanting to use the marauders map for pranks.

Hermione disapproves.

“You'll get yourself into endless trouble.”

Hermione motherfucking Granger slaps Malfoy, yes please.

“THAT'S MY GIRL!” you cheer

Buckbeak is getting executed.

The dog reappears but drags Ron to the whomping willow.

Now see this is just an impossible question! It's been a long year and I am absolutely shit at keeping track of every fic I've read, not that I'd be able to pick one favorite anyway. So, I'm not gonna. I am, however, going to put the recs under the cut bc this got really long oops

Right now I'm on a pretty big Harry Potter kick (Fremione specifically, atm) so there are gonna be the most of those, sorry lol.

Favorites from the HP Fandom:

Defectors - James/Lily/Regulus where rather than die in the cave, Reg fakes his death and defects to the order. It's got wolfstar angst, sirius and regulus estranged siblings angst, and just lovely potter triad fluff (but also some angst for them too, it is a war after all). I would die for every interaction Reg and Harry have. Jegulily was simply not a ship I knew I needed in my life but I am forever obsessed after this fic!

The Family Potter - what if Petunia and Vernon died instead of James and Lily and Dudley went to live with the Potters? Oh. My. God. I truly will never ever ever be over this fic it just,, wowowowowow. It presents such an interesting new dynamic to explore between James and Lily and their nephew and creates an entirely new dynamic between Dudley and Harry than we get in canon. It's all just,, *chefs kiss*

Reparations - Draco/Harry. Listen, I'm not even a drarry fan. I came here for post-war healing, Harry becoming a healer not an auror (one of my favorite hcs), and a Draco redemption arc. I got all of that and infinitely more. The preexisting characters are portrayed beautifully and the original characters that fill St. Mungo's are so compelling and lovely!!

so just give me one more night - Fred/Hermione fake dating. I am a sucker for a fake dating trope and I'm also a sucker for Fred and Hermione going to the Yule Ball together. To quote myself in my ao3 bookmark: This is everything. They’re everything. I can’t believe they invented romance ugh.

don't you know you've got the best of me? - Fred/Hermione. I'm actually still finishing it up right now (started it yesterday) but oh my goodness is it amazing. It's a complete retelling of the series but if Fred and George had befriended Hermione early on. I'm absolutely obsessed with the dynamics Hermione shares with the twins, Lee, Alicia, Angelina, and Katie as well as the shift in her dynamics with Harry and (especially) Ron. Just,, 12/10 and I'm not even finished yet!

It's not Sunset Cis either - an incredibly large collection of trans!sunset curve fics all set in the same universe! I actually haven't even read them all but every single one I've read has been phenomenal!

The Spotlight's Your Hiding Place - Willex and Boggie enemies-to-lovers (with established Juke and Flarrie), social media fic. Anxiously waiting for each new installment of this was practically torture but fully worth it. Made me scream "Fuck Caleb" more times than I can count. (By the same author as It's Not Sunset Cis)

Cross My Heart - Luke x Reader social media fic. Bianca sprang this on me out of the mf blue and just, holy shit did they do an amazing amazing job like she- that's my spouse y'all and I'm truly not just hyping it up because I love her. They really did the best job and the dynamics are all so fun!

Can't finish this list without a Marvel mention:

The Avengers vs The Peter Factor - I've read a lot of MCU fics this year what with all the new content, but this one just hits the spot (probably because it's so removed from all the loss in canon). It's a good old-fashioned Avengers living together in the tower fic with a heavy emphasis on how much everybody loves Peter Parker. Each chapter is dedicated to a character falling victim to what Tony has called The Peter Factor, there are no survivors. It's still being updated (right now there's a Field Trip storyline happening) and will eventually feature the newer characters to the universe!

I know this is only barely scratching the surface of fics that I've read and fell in love with this year but I think it's a pretty sizable list as is 😂

Dabi

This gremlin knows what Homestuck is and can’t stand the fact that he understands the references Toga makes to it. Also possibly one of the few who has actually read homestuck on this list, and won’t hesitate to correct Toga or Shigaraki if they fuck up a fact.

He also really is into The Walking Dead. You can’t tell me that Kurogiri doesn’t have a TV set up somewhere in the bar so he and Shigaraki can sit and watch. This does end up with the majority of the league having a once a week get together where Jin gets Pizza, Toga gets several boxes of soda for them, and Shigaraki sets up everything. 

Denki Kaminari

This bitch was into homestuck. Like he wasn’t just into homestuck, he was INTO homestuck. Most likely one of those kids that used to jump on Omegle in a shitty cosplay for those homestuck Omegle cosplay meets the fandom used to do. He also totally has a genderbent Nepeta cosplay, a Dave strider cosplay, and a Jake cosplay SOMEWHERE. Most likely to accidentally wear a homestuck shirt to class.

Never once picked up a Harry Potter book or watched the movie, but you know this kid has a hufflepuff robe in his closet and some hufflepuff merch. He doesn’t know shit about the actual canon since he is just there to vibe

Really into Kpop. BTS, Blackpink, ITZY, EXO, Ikon, BlockB, BigBang minus Seungri cause he is icky, SuperJunior, NCT, WINNER, Got7, Red Velvet, (F)x, and more. Like you can’t tell me this guy doesn’t listen to girl groups and shit like BTS. (His bias has to be J-hope) He also bops with Mina the most. These two also most likely post dance covers of the songs to instagram and TikTok, so they have quite the following. (But their best video was their “Boy In love” cover they did with Kirishima, Deku, Shoto,Jirou, Momo, and Bakugo.)

This kid was also into Five nights at Freddy. He owns all of the games and will still play them with the Bakusquad, but he is pretty quiet about this fandom just because of how BULLIED he was for enjoying it. 

LOVES Danganronpa too. Bakusquad do a weekly game night and they all went through all of the games. Let’s just say Denki cried a LOT at the deaths. Like a lot. (He may have a few cosplays of his own too)

Eijiro Kirishima

Kirishima liked Supernatural just because of how manly Sam and Dean are. Like fuck yeah, he wants a chevy impala too cause it is a beautiful car and wants to know how to protect yourself from shit like demons and angels. He never did much besides watch the show, cry a lot, and try to draw the characters. (Also he had a crush on Dean just cause of how badass and manly he is, but nobody can blame him)

He totally sat and watched Denki play Undertale, so he knows all about it. His favorite character is Undyne and he actually cried when they beat her in Genocide mode cause holy shit dude. That sucked. Oh and Sans. Fuck Sans.

He enjoys Kpop and will listen to it with the Bakusquad. He really admires BTS for how much of an impact they have made not only on his friends, but also the world itself and you can’t tell me that this guy doesn’t think the world of Kim Namjoon. Like he listens to Mono on repeat and is such a big RM fanboy. Also really likes Bigbang (He thinks Daesungs voice is so nice and will sleep to his singing if he could), and Kyungsoo is his favorite in Exo. Cried when Bigbang started coming back from the Military, and cried harder when Kyungsoo had to leave.

Danganronpa is a game he really enjoyed with his friends and will even replay from time to time. He gravitates towards the really manly characters, but some others have spots in his heart. Mondo, Sakura, Gundham, Nekomaru, Kaito, and Gonta were his favorites. Let’s just say the game didn’t treat him well.

Fumikage Tokoyami

He ended up picking up the Harry Potter books and fell in love with the world itself. You can’t tell me this guy doesn't have a limited edition trunk set of the books hidden in plain sight. Like everyone thinks that the trunk holds something like crystals or some bones or knives but nah. It’s just his Harry potter books. Oh and Midnight totally gave him a Ravenclaw scarf around the holidays. You can’t tell me otherwise.

Death note? Death note. Only to episode 25 though. 25 happened and he just hasn’t continued watching cause it isn’t the fucking same.

Hitoshi Shinsou

Shinsou liked Supernatural for a while, but he eventually lost interest. He did his best to also never get involved with much of the fandom since it honestly scared him a bit, but his fear didn’t stop him from posting some theories into discussion boards.

He listens to Kpop a bit since he hangs out with Denki a lot and found out he really enjoys Ikon, BlockB, BTS, 

Bitch was in the Creepypasta Fandom. Like not even the good ones, he was into Jeff the killer and Eyeless jack and all of those ones. Sure, he would listen to the others and read the crappy ones, but he had a phase he is mildly ashamed of now.

This kid loves everything relating to Stephen King. He will have conversations with Aizawa and Hizashi about the books, and they all agree that Kings writing can rather be extremely amazing, or be the equivalent of a 13 year old attempting to write smut for the first time. It’s so damn funny to him

Hizashi Yamada

He has read all of the harry potter books and actually enjoys them quite a bit, but he tries not to let that show too much. He does have a Slytherin lanyard that holds his keys though that Denki had mentioned. It managed to get Mic off track for the class period when he started discussing the books with the students (Mainly Izuku, Tokoyami, and Denki)

He watches The walking dead with Aizawa 

Actually bops to Kpop after the Bakusquad introduces it to him. Massive RM fanboy so he and Kirishima will occasionally go off about how admirable and badass he is. Like RM taught himself english just from watching Friends??? And Hizashi admires that so much. He also loves diving deeper into their lyrics since they normally have such good meanings.

Izuku Midoriya

Oh he loves Harry potter so damn much. He has the books on his shelf, a Gryffindor robe in his closet, a full uniform, and several wands. He is such a nerd so you can’t tell me he doesn’t have a special notebook that has notes on the spells, character analysis, and a variety of different facts.

Really enjoys listening to BTS! He doesn’t know much about other kpop groups, but he really enjoys dancing with Mina and Denki (even if Izuku has 2 left feet and struggles with dancing)

Had a Dragonball phase. Like this kid loVEs Dragonball. It’s actually one of the reasons why he and Katsuki grew to be friends since they both watched the show. They would talk about how they would beat Frieza or the Ginyu squad all of the time.

Katsuki Bakugo

This bastard finds himself actually enjoying Kpop after Mina and Denki go off about their favorite bands, and he really finds himself enjoying BTS, Day6, and SHINee. 

Danganronpa was a game he experienced with his friends and FUCK was it an adventure for him. He got really invested with the story and for a while, the Bakusquad chat was active as hell because of all of the theories he had. He fucking HATED Byakuya, actually shed some tears for Fuyuhikos’ character development and Gundhams death, and was about to throw hands during the 4th chapter of V3. It was a Rollercoaster of emotions, but he loved every moment of it.

This kid had a Dragonball Z phase. No shit he would wake up, watch an episode of Goku screaming, and then go out to play. Honestly this routine started when he was 5 and he will still occasionally watch it. He still loves Dragonball, and he totally has a collection of dragonballs somewhere.

After Shoto and Momo watch Rupauls Drag race in the Common room, He gets hooked. His dad is a fashion designer, so he finds himself really enjoying the fashion aspect of the show as well as the makeup part of it all. He actually does Minas’ makeup occasionally and once people start finding out, he becomes their makeup artist. The girls makeup, and occasionally he will do drag makeup on the guys if they ask. Sometimes the Drag viewing parties start by Bakugo doing everyones makeup and then ordering Pizza.

Mina Ashido

Mina fucking loves to dance and everybody knows that, so it’s no surprise that she manages to nail every damn Kpop she does. She really loves the variety of dances and she can match every vibe. A dance in heels? Shes got it. Hip hop? Oh hell yeah. Cute? Sure! Badass? Shes got this. She is really just a bop.

Danganronpa was an EXPERIENCE for her. She absolutely adored the cases that needed to be solved, cried at the characters, and adored the game. She totally cosplayed Tsumugi with Cospox once or twice with Denki just for giggles sake.

Totally was heads over heels for Ouran Highschool Host club. She thought the anime was so damn precious (She adores Hikaru) and was so sad that there hasn’t been a 2nd season, so she bought all of the manga.

Momo Yaoyorozu

She is a Kpop fan! She totally could be an idol since she can sing pretty well, has the face for it, can dance pretty well! Her favorite thing is rapping though. You can’t say that Momo wouldn’t be able to write some bad bitch raps and pull them off with ease. With her, Mina, Jirou, and Ochaco, they make one HELL of a Girl Group. They love to do covers of Blackpink, Red Velvet, CherryBullet, ITZY, and Mamamoo covers. Her biases have to be Jennie, Irene and Moonbyul.

Tamaki Amajiki

Flipped through homestuck when it started, really never got into it but admired the work people put into their cosplays. Knows basic character names and that buckets should be feared.

He actually used to really like My little Pony! He would NEVER call himself a brony, but he really enjoyed the show. He only watched a couple of seasons, but the show itself was pretty relaxing and managed to calm him down when he was feeling anxious. If anybody ever knew he had a my little pony phase though (And still actually will watch it from time to time) he might just die from embarrassment.

Want to play Legend of Zelda? Well Tamaki is your guy to talk to about it. He might start rambling and will completely forget about his anxiety for a moment before realizing how nerdy he sounds. He has a gamecube in his dorm to play Twilight princess and Ocarina of time, He has a Wii for Skyward sword, and god did this kid lock himself in his room when breath of the wild came out. He can speedrun it like none other (Seriously, if he let’s you watch him, you will be fucking surprised by how amazing he is.)

Gotta throw in Teen Titans. Seeing Beast boy use his power in so many badass ways gave him some pretty cool ideas for his own quirk.

Oh and Rupauls Drag race. Nobody would expect him to be a fan of drag race, but he actually does enjoy watching the goofy drama. If you’re dating, you better expect weekly Drag race with him. It’s pretty funny to watch him enjoy the show. Sometimes he gasps, laughs or bites his lip, eyes hooked to the screen.

Shoto Todoroki

Another motherfucker who could EASILY be an Idol if he wanted to be. He actually really enjoys Kpop after Momo introduced it to him. They both often bop to it together when they study or hang out. He is also most likely to be the one recording the dancing videos or editing them too since he really enjoys helping out the girls. 

Want to watch him nerd out? Watch the classic Godzilla movies with him. Like HOLY SHIT does this man love the 50s-70s Godzilla movies. Bring him a box set and he will rather hug you really tight or run to grab blankets from his room cause this dude ADORES these movies. (Especially the mothra one. Like he will cling to you, thank you over and over again, and watch them with almost childlike glee.)

This bitch bops with Rupauls Drag race. He really enjoys makeup and has debated on trying drag himself (Not that anybody would know that) but it’s kind of shocking to see that he is the one that started the Weekly Rupauls Drag Race viewing in the UA Dorms. 

Yugi Aoyama

His mother used to read Harry Potter to him to help him sleep when he was a child so he naturally knows a lot about it. He knows he is a Slytherin and when Izuku thought about it, it made sense. He is pretty arrogant and wants to impress with his upbringing and french lineage. He also makes it pretty hard to get to know him personally, so Izuku makes a note that he is a Slytherin.

Likes Kpop, but isn’t SUPER into it like Denki or Mina. He likes listening to BTS and Exo and his Biases are Seokjin and Chanyeol.

Meeting his family

summary: some time passed since the war and harry is finally ready to introduce you to his family (everybody lives!au)

a/n: heyyo, so this is slightly different from the ask. in order to keep the reader relatable, i had to mold it a bit for everyone to enjoy! made it fluffy fluff to compensate it!

Harry thought it was finally the time to officially introduce you to his family; as some time passed since the war, people were getting their groove back and a sense of normalcy that they had before the war.

He brought it up in a conversation a few nights ago at dinner- saying he’d like you to meet his family. You melted at his confession; of course, meeting his “family” would be a huge thing for both you and him in this relationship. It felt like he was starting to show you the important parts of his life.

You were also excited at the thought since Harry would always tell you stories about his adventures and stories of his time spent with his uncles- you wanted to see how these men, whom Harry dearly loved and who played a big role in his life were really like.

So, now here you were, standing outside of a brownstone house of Remus and Tonks.

You didn't notice how badly your body started to shake with nerves until Harry’s concerned voice pulled you out of your restless thoughts.

Harry: Are you alright, love? You’re shaking so much.

You: shaking your head Just really nervous, what if they...don’t like-

Harry: Shhh- None of that! I know they’ll love you, rather I should be worried about them hogging all your attention rolling his eyes.

You lightly shoved his shoulder, laughing at his words and started babbling whether your attire was suitable for the occasion or not; maybe it was too much or too casual or what if they didn't like you?

That is when Harry paused you, rubbing your back soothingly and reassuring you.

Harry: Sweetheart, please, calm down. You look perfect as you are, now, shall we go in? Trust me, you’re anxious for no reason. As I said, they’ll love you.

He kissed you on the cheek before ringing the bell.

Immediately, the door opened, Sirius with a huge smile greeted the two of you, his raven black hair half tied into a bun.

Sirius: excitedly, ushering both of you in Harry! You’re here, and you too, come on, come inside. Don’t want you youngsters getting cold out.

He ushered the two of you inside and to the sitting room, gesturing to take a seat on the sofa, while he yelled “they’re here!”

Apparently, Remus was busy looking after Teddy, and Tonks was in the kitchen, who was abandoned midway by Sirius. They all came to greet you soon after, happy to see the two of you.

The evening went without a hitch; your initial nervousness went out the window once you started chatting with them- they were all too kind!

Tonks told you some embarrassing parenting stories. While Sirius and Remus were reminiscing about the past (their Hogwarts and post-Hogwarts days)

You and Harry even got to hold little Teddy for a while. He was so patient and made grabby hands towards you when you let him go to Remus. (aww)

Dinner was amazing. You found out that, in fact, Tonks and apparently Sirius (since he contributed a bit) were great cooks.

All three whispering to themselves while nodding: Can’t believe harry didn't show up with them earlier, now lets all hog the time we lost

Harry(who accidentally eavesdropped on them when he went to get some water): I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!
