In both versions of them (canon and modern au), what would be Machete and Vasco's ideal date?

I think both of them prefer mostly quiet and chill experiences that don't involve a lot of loud and hectic crowds. They'd probably enjoy going to the movies, or theatre if they're feeling extra fancy. They like museums, galleries, antique markets and book fairs, and do a little bit of casual entry level hiking every now and then. Restaurants, bistros and cafes are a mixed bag, because on one hand eating out is such a classic low-stakes bonding activity, but Machete is a notoriously picky eater and doesn't like surprises when it comes to food.

#in original setting they have to be very careful about going out together #you're allowed to have friends and it's not that remarkable if they're seen together sometimes since they're coworkers and all #but it has to look stately and platonic #answered #anonymous #modern au #you won't see them in an escape room or theme park or doing a lot of urbexing #I guess you could call them boring adults with boring adult pastimes and they like it that way

"slightly socially inept happy guys" - shower thought phrase beamed into my head as i was trying to articulate the character archetype i keep gravitating towards

#spurred on of course by watching more Wander Over Yonder #SpongeBob. Lazlo. Wander. Daffy may be so weird to say but this is moreso about how personally liberating his enthusiasm and insanity is to #me and how he doesn't register/care how that may inconvenience or come off to other people which is the running theme here. Chowder. Stimpy #etc etc #i still pray nightly at my nonexistent Lazlo shrine since he completely reframed my thinking and i need to maybe tap into that side more..#but my friends and coworkers call me enthusiastic so maybe i'm doing a better job of it than i realize. ive been told often i absorb things #like a sponge and it just makes me go :)c teehee. i know a Sponge.

#new #my art #I planned a lot of things #but now I am kinda numb emotionally #cause sister's nearly divorce crises and her husband being my best coworker #and me not managing my talks in my head lol #soooo I don't think I will draw anything for a long time #rip plans but life always happens #and maybe it a good thing #anyways #oh how I enjoyed drawing this one!#I've never drew anything bigger than like 2k pixels #and this one was meant to be printed on A3+#and the first time I did the right size for it I was like WHAT? DO? YOU? MEAN?#when I am at 100% it's only one rock at my whole screen #but then I figured out that like... I can draw details ten times moooooore #spending 8hours on one roooock!!!#MORE SPACE #and I dont know shit about proffesional stuff with exposition and placement and shadows and colours #so details everywhere as I go #and I love to think that the portal to the lake with antlers bars is portal to Augus' lake #and I wanted water snails and knitted jelly fish and kinda blanket but water themed so it's a big algue piece #and it just piled up #and the colours feel was the most relaxing thing to look at all the time #yeah #really proud of this one

Sam and Gwen as dramatic foils. Sam constantly wondering why he wasn’t good enough, why he wasn’t chosen. Feeling he’s disappointed people. Wondering where it all went wrong. Gwen with her rock solid belief that she deserves Lena’s job despite being bad at her job and despite getting a promotion and being so bad at that job that she almost died. Imposter syndrome vs failing upwards lmao. I believe Gwen is convinced that all of her upward momentum this season, happened on her own merit, despite it actually being due to a computer manipulating her dumb ass and using her as a cat’s paw to get rid of the smarter, more capable Lena

Need a film adaptation of Little Women where Jo clearly does not want to marry Bhaer and is pressured into it. A reflection of the publishers pressuring Louisa May Alcott to have Jo be married at the end, if you will. I think it would fix me in a really weird way
