I made @wolfythewitch 's fox Bill design out of polymer clay
It's pretty thin (so thin I'm afraid it'll snap in half anytime I lift it)

#I love crafting stuff but it's more time consuming than drawing (and less satisfying to me) so I don't do it as often#this would make a pretty cool pin. too bad it's so fragile#this is useless btw. I'm afraid it's break even if I store it somewhere#but at least I had fun making it#like an idiot I decided it would be better if I used only yellow and painted the details after baking it#fast forward-> me trying to paint it with a permanent black marker and a white gel pen that's definitely not for that job#this design will forever be imprinted in my brain as the best fanmade bill design actually#gravity falls#gravity fowls#bill cipher#arts n crafts#polymer clay#don't look at my ugly fingers#this is obviously not actual folded like an origami. I'm completely obsessed with this new tote bag I got for Christmas
#technically it was not even supposed to be a christmas gift#my best friend went to London this summer and got me this but we didn't had an occasion to see each others before#because being an adult is rough sometimes lol#but yeah i love this things so much#tho i do take offense in them including stephen and not matilda#not even because i think mathilda was the 'rightful heir and queen' or whatever#but because i actually believe that neither of them managed to truly secure the throne for themselves#(stephen got closer but i don't think it's accurate to say he fully succeeded)#so you either put both or neither#plus having them face each others as if they were about to fight would have been a cool design#but i still love it so..

i know i shouldnt dwell on stupid opinions like this but a while ago i saw someone complain that Applin was a boring concept bc its just a worm in an apple and i was FLOORED. this iirc was in response to smth about gen 1 designs being boring as well
its not just a worm its a Wyrm its a pun. that is a concept. maybe you don't like it personally but to say its objectively bad is certainly Something. not every pokemon has to be based on a myth or something else fantastical to be a good concept. you Need "boring" pokemon for the dex to feel complete, if Everything is Cool then nothing is actually cool
"gamefreak is running out of ideas" yeah there's a billion fish pokemon but they're all actually very different to each other, lanturn is an anglerfish and lumineon is a butterfly fish. say what you will abt gamefreak rn its probably warranted but imo the one thing they still do right 100% of the time is unique concepts for each pokemon. the execution can be debated but the fundamentals are always there

I’ve been trying to figure out Warriors’s design and I realized that I just didn’t like his cape. I wanted to give him back his scarf so I looked up different scarves and I really liked how version 1 turned out! The blue is a little too saturated for my taste so I’m gonna play with the colors but i really like it!

I really wish Venus's doll had sneakers similar to Clawdeen's original core doll. Still with the mouth detail, and maybe vine-like laces, and a leaf shaped tongue.

quite pleasantly surprised by wicked movie but i Will say we were robbed of elphaba leaning in close to glinda saying “come with me to the emerald city” followed by glinda’s “i’ve always wanted to see the emerald city” while looking deep into her eyes arms around her shoulders twirling elphaba’s hair
#not sure if this was unique to the last time i saw wicked but either way. shoutout to those two leads fr 😘✌🏻 <- that’s me kissing#two fingers and holding them out btw#personal#other notes:#- fiyero looked too old sorry but he did perform pretty well#- still unreasonably annoyed by ariana’s eyebrows being so pale and blending into her skin under certain lightings esp when they gave her#giant black lashes like at least be consistent 💀#- otherwise pretty pleasantly surprised by her performance there were still moments esp when she laughed where i was like this is too#‘ariana’ and not ‘glinda’ enough but for the most part she did wayyy better than i had anticipated#- the instrumentation to vocal balancing was weird throughout but i’m not sure if that came down mostly to it being in theatre vs on a home#tv ik it can depend on how they designed it#- was not a fan of nessa or madame morrible the way both of them sang and even how madame morrible spoke sometimes came off very stilted to#me i did like nessa’s spoken delivery tho#- not sure how but i had no clue abt the kristen/idina cameo ahjdf the way my mom#grandma and me all gasped#- cynthia did well i wasn’t concerned abt her initially but then saw the way they were marketing with her and got a little worried bc it#wasn’t very ‘elphaba’ but she portrayed her personality great#- they paced defying gravity weird i wasn’t super fond of the end. the bit where she’s falling and facing her younger self i was like okay#this is a cool change actually but then they interrupted in the middle again after that and suddenly cut to the ‘nobody in all of oz’ bit#and i went mmmm don’t like that#- liked the effects!#- wasn’t overly fond of jeff goldblum as the wizard but i suppose there is time to change my opinion there with act ii#- enjoyed what is this feeling flipping btwn so many settings to show how much they were clashing in every respect#- costumes!!#- was slightly bothered by autotune first half and then im not sure if they cut back on it or if i just got used to it#- probably more stuff that i might add later but can’t think of rn. overall nice experience don’t plan on rewatching anytime soon but still#intend to see part 2#wicked 2024 spoilers#<- for the cameo mention mainly
