i was talking to mama about this song the other day and i thought it was too perfect not to share:

this end credits song is so?? cg coded?? despite the movie being tailored to the experiences of motherhood i think any caregiver (in the community or not) can relate to this song in some way, especially if you're currently in a long-distance dynamic. its definitely one of my favorite tiny songs at the moment and comforts me when i miss her.

a fandom always has that one agere person whether on tumblr or ao3. and im not complaining. for any of the littles in any of you aus? whats their favorite kinds of blankets or prints? cuz i js got a cute blanket today so this is on my mind.

-For Ford, he lives for those classic little beaker and equations and chemistry designs, because he is a little scientist! He also loves space and celestial designs, with various constellations and planets, he loves pointing them out to Stan, or looking at the night sky to see which constellations he can see that are also on his blanket. He does have an interest in bugs, particularly moths and butterflies. He does have one blanket that Stan custom ordered to have cryptids and anomalies patterned throughout it

-Stan OF COURSE loves the nautical themes, anchors, boats, waves, and sea animals always gets him excited, feet kicking. I know he was a dinosaur kid, not the scientific kind but the “Dino’s are so cooooolllll!” type, and he still is, especially after seeing a real life dinosaur. Though, he only likes the nice ones in books and shows, and on his sweaters, not real life ones. He does have a very soft handmade quilt with teddy bear designs that he loves to snuggle in during his naps

-Fiddleford is fine with any pattern and design, he’s not that picky. But one time, Stan presented him with a blanket covered in barnyard/farm animals and Little Man went. Wild. He would tell Stan every fact on those animals he knows, barely breathing in between. After that, almost blanket, shirt, and sweater he got was themed with some sort of farm animal. The ones that weren’t barnyard themed had robots and mathematical equations on them

• anakin's not a child anymore and though obi wan tries to accept it, he still misses having a young one. but then came you!!

• he's gone a lot doing jedi duties but you and him have a good agreement! you've worked hard to become very secure in being alone. he's not abandoning you, he has very important jedi stuff to do!

• when he comes back, you're always waiting at the landing pad and immediately jump into his arms, clinging to him.

• when he's home you play lots and lots of games like hide and seek, holonet matching and learning games, and catch the bantha. obi wan gets on all fours and acts like a very silly, very wild bantha! and you have to catch him! and if you try to get on his back, he'll (carefully) attempt to buck you off like those bull things at those earth establishments.

• he likes to pull faces to make you laugh and smile

• he lets you hide in his robes and even lets you sit in during meetings as long as there's no inappropriate conversations. you're so good and quiet during them, he's so proud of you and always tells you what a good job you did afterwards.

• cuddles are both of your number one ways to bond and recuperate

• when he takes you to the jedi temple, you have loads of fun running around and messing with things, obi wan constantly has to chase you and find you ajfhs

• anakin babysits!! he's like a big brother, showing you how to do math stuff and building different robots with you that can play with you and keep you company when you're alone

• anakin also plays games with you

• obi wan prefers you to at least try to be independent but he'll help you with various things depending on your age. when you're like 7+, he shows you to do kitchen stuff and chores

• anakin on the other hand completely babies you. he'll cut your food up even if you're an older little or in big space. he'll make sure your drinks and food aren't too hot. he'll help you dress and buys you all sorts of things. he enjoys feeling needed and wanted.

• obi wan loves knowing that no matter what, he always has his cute baby to turn to and love

•Nico loves customizing everything, and that doesn’t stop when she’s in little space. She has a big collection of shiny, glittery stickers, especially ones with flames, lightning bolts, or skulls, which she uses to decorate everything from her sketchbooks to her tools. She’ll even add some to Nero’s things when he’s not looking, claiming it's to "give 'em some character !"

•She’ll pretend to "fix" or "upgrade" her own toys, sometimes making sound effects as she goes, like little "vroom vroom" or "zap zap" noises. It keeps her hands busy and makes her feel like she’s building something great, even if it’s all just pretend

•Nico loves cartoons that are high-energy and full of action. Shows with wild characters, silly jokes, or exaggerated fight scenes make her laugh until her sides hurt. She’s especially drawn to cartoons with cool vehicles or robots — and will often get overly excited, explaining how she’d make the machines even "cooler".Sometimes, she’ll act out scenes, which usually involves lots of exaggerated sound effects

•Nico gets a kick out of painting her nails when she’s in little space, especially in flashy colors like neon green or metallic blue. She’s also not above throwing glitter on top, making her hands look like they belong to a rockstar. She might even convince Nero to let her paint his nails, too, if she can catch him in a good mood

•Little Nico adores toy cars, especially ones that look like mini motorcycles or have cool decals. She’ll zoom them around on the floor or the workbench, pretending she’s racing or making up stories about daring escapes. If she has someone to play with, like Nero or even Lady, she’ll set up mini "races" insisting on elaborate rules and sound effects!

•Nico’s sense of humor doesn’t go away in her little space — if anything, it becomes more playful. She loves setting up harmless pranks around her workshop, like putting rubber bugs in Nero’s toolbox or hiding silly notes for him to find. Her pranks are never mean-spirited; she just loves getting a laugh and hearing Nero’s exasperated reactions

•Nico uses empty bottles to create "potions" usually filled with safe things like colored water or juice, then gives them dramatic names like "Mega Power Juice" or "Turbo Speed Fuel". She’ll drink them with great fanfare and even serve them to anyone nearby, claiming they’ll give superpowers or make you "ten times cooler, guaranteed"

•Nico enjoys building cozy hideouts using blankets, chairs, and any spare fabric she can find. Once she has her little fort set up, she fills it with her favorite toys, snacks, and a flashlight. Her forts often end up being decorated with stickers or drawings, and she’ll proudly show them off to anyone who’s willing to check out her "top-secret hideout"

•Even while regressed, Nico’s mind is buzzing with ideas, and she’ll sometimes pretend to design gadgets to help her "superhero friends" She’ll draw up blueprints for mini weapons or "super cool" enhancements, complete with wild, imaginative details. If Nero’s around, she’ll assign him the role of hero and explain how her inventions are going to make him "unstoppable"

•She’ll make up tales of wild adventures, usually involving characters based on her friends and herself, with lots of explosions, races, and daring escapes. Her stories are funny, a little chaotic, and filled with Nico’s spunky spirit, making it a fun way for her to wind down and feel safe

•A bit of a kitchen experimenter, Nico loves creating strange snack concoctions when she’s feeling small, mixing candies, sodas, or cereals in ways that make no sense. She’ll mix cola with gummy bears or dunk cookies in weird sauces just to see what happens, which she finds hilarious. Sometimes, she’ll offer Nero a "taste test" just to see his reaction

yes yes yes!! since watching the movie i couldn't help but think of roz as a caregiver,, i think of fink as one as well :') i mean, they are just so accepting of brightbill that i just know they'd love any regressor as they are. i'm planning on writing some headcanons once a little bit of time has passed to be sure people can avoid the spoilers and see it, but she is such a comforting presence for sure, i definitely see what you mean. thank you for sharing, its so incredibly sweet that she makes you feel so safe and i hope she continues to do so ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ /gen

went out to see the wild robot yesterday. i'm not exaggerating in the slightest in saying that was easily the best animated film of the year. it was fantastic and in the hopes of keeping it as spoiler-free as possible i specifically want to encourage those that are in need of a found family dynamic between a robot and her baby gosling and their ride-or-die fox caregiver. its about trying to learn to figure life out in your own way and to be loved in your uniqueness. its about motherhood. its about a forest sticking together through the hardest of times.. its about sacrifice. its about love.

please please PLEASE give this movie a chance i promise it won't disappoint. beautiful soundtrack, stellar animation that i couldn't help but fall in love with, a bittersweet story, and a phenomenal voice cast that'll make you laugh and leave you in tears. i am so fixated on this movie already i can't wait for the content and discussions to come.
